This morning we were in Gloucester Road, looking for a good breakfast and we decided to try in Hux American! Good food. Beacon is beautifully cooked. Lovely decoration. Very comfortable setting The atmosphere is quite pleasant. Definitely recommended.

Service: 4 out of 5, they were all very young and friendly. They forgot the ice-cream on the little one s menu but we didn't want to ask for it and spend extra time to wait for it to come out. Food: 3 out of 5: the ribs came out nice and juicy, but the burger was really dry, even though I have asked for medium, but it came out burnt...

Good food. Different menu with good choice. Very tasty deserts and we always back for coffee ☕ and hot Apple 🍏 pie 🥧 with ice cream. We enjoy sit here and watch in life... around.

My experience there was good so I decided to go back the next day. According to the website, the restaurant close at 11pm. I arrived at 9:30pm only to be told that they were close. I expressed to the gentleman that I took a taxi to come here because it states closing is at 11pm, he then tells me to find another restaurant. That was very rude and unprofessional!

Had brunch here on Sunday and had a delicious meal. I've eaten here often and am always happy with the service, food, location and prices. My previous review, below, still stands. This is a popular local restaurant and rightly so. The service is friendly and inviting, the menu has a nice selection for everyone and the prices are good.

Amazing restaurant with polite friendly staff who were helpful and attentive. Prices were not to bad either considering where it is. Food was great, you must try a side order of skinny fries.

We went there for Thanksgiving. The restaurant is nice, the staff is experienced and friendly; but the food is pretty poor. I ordered a steak which I couldn’t finish. Kids pizza was ok. My husbands turkey was bland. A side note, they didn’t have a proper steak knife, so it was a real struggle to cut the steak. It is a good place for small friend gatherings but don’t recommend it if you are after a tasty meal.

Lovely meal and really quick service. My wife had gumbo which she enjoyed very much. My friend recommended the chili starter which he thoroughly enjoyed. My pizza was really well cooked and nice and hot when it arrived. All in all a really excellent restaurant to visit and with great value too.

Wonderful! We ate here for dinner on Dec 7 around 8:00pm (table 9). The restaurant wasn't too busy but there were enough people to make it feel nice. We were immediately greeted warmly upon entering by the host and given a nice table. Our server (Toru?) was beyond amazing! He was incredibly kind, funny, sweet, and professional. He told us he was new and I never would have guessed that - he was really fantastic and made our dinner more special. It was actually my birthday (I didn't say anything) and I wholly appreciated having Toru be our server and make my birthday dinner all the more fun, special and enjoyable. Aside from all of that, the food was DELICIOUS! We didn't get too much but shared: a cobb salad, crab sliders, avocado toast and the best cheesecake I've ever had in my life. All of the food was fantastic - if we ever go back to London, this will absolutely be a stop for us. Thank you for making my birthday dinner unforgettable. :)

We had lunch at Hux Brasserie yesterday and it was excellent. Both our meals exceeded our expectations - Tequila Lime Chicken and Cajan chicken with a corn dish that was absolutely wicked. We have enjoyed both the previous restaurants on this site and are pleased that we will be going back here too. All the seats seem to receive all afternoon sunshine so despite it being (in theory) chilly we had a most pleasant afternoon lingering over our wine. Friendly service, tasty meal. Welcome back.

We have been going there since MK (for years)… and now finally they have adjusted the Menu and it is Good once again ! ! Still not as great as the old MK menu but definitely good enough ! The staff always nice ( pity a few left probably bec o brexit :( All great, thank u!

Great improvements has turned HUX (formerly HUSH) into a great hangout place and restaurant in South Kensington. Would highly recommend this place for both drinks and food. We now come here quite often, while the previous food and setup under a different name was poor and we stopped coming. I don't know if the restaurant is under new ownership but whatever it is, they are doing wonderful. The menu is Americanized and the food is super fresh and perfectly cooked. We had the glazed salmon which was absolutely delicious. Everything we've tried has been nice, both starters and main courses. The new staff is fantastic; friendly, professional and attentive - a great improvement from the grumpy Eastern European ones in the previous restaurant (HUSH) prior to lockdowns, who barely bothered to take orders and the completely unorganized and clueless manager who couldn't manage a thing. Good job for turning things around so dramatically.

The old Med Kitchen was a great local brasserie and the newly reopened Hux has all the good bits - nice staff, good location (one of the few K&C restaurants with outdoor seating catching the sun most of the day) - and it's added a few improvements. The menu is a larger and brunch till 1pm is great (pancakes, breakfast etc.). Sunday lunch, outside (under heater lights helps right now) is wonderfully relaxing. Lose an hour or so.

Was a bit anxious when the restaurant rebranded from MK Grill which I liked a lot. But the new menu is even better. The grill is fantastic and the service is top notch. I also like the spacey booths that make me feel more comfortable in those COVID times.

Outside very annoying a fly disturbing at all time. White dust flying from the tree. Food OKY but not the best. The Mexican beer very small bottle and quiet price. People smoking on tables while others dine. If I return I will rather be inside.
