Reviews of Iberica Canary Wharf
S.
Lovely place and location ..well designed ,clean and staff very welcoming and friendly.
Food is really good , authentic Spanish food for sure ...the only think we didn't enjoy so much was the sangria unfortunately..too bitter and orangy and full of ice .. couldn't smell or taste peaches or cinnamon or the wine.
P. C.
Ambiance - Really nice
Service - Excellent
Food - Paella was toooooo salty
Dessert - small portion. Chocolate one was yummy. Rice pudding was OK.
J. _.
Food was alright, a bit pricey compare with the quality. Service was good.
There are definitely some better options for tapas if you are in London.

TLDR; delicious food but let down by being understaffed and a tad on the expensive side
The food here is undoubted delicious. The Pluma Iberica did not disappoint and the twice cooked lamb was also amazingly rich and flavourful. Their pardon peppers were consistently spicy which was a very pleasant surprise as I’ve heard only 1 in 10 are suppose to be hot!
In terms of food, the only let down was the churros. It was thin, bland and the chocolate sauce was way too runny. Steer away!
An otherwise great experience was diminished by the atmosphere and slow service. The interior was designed like a pub, in fact I suspect this building used to be a pub. This means that loud conversations are amplified and reverberated across the restaurant.
The table service was brilliant but slow. The poor lady had to tend to 7+ tables all by herself for the majority of the evening. We had to wait almost 30mins for our beers and ask multiple times. The food arrived first and was getting cold . Our waitress did an amazing job but the place is definitely under staffed.
Finally, it’s a tad on the expensive side. For the 2 of us, beers and 7 dishes came to just shy of £85.

Amazing service Paola and Joan such an amazing experience that brought me and my husband back to Spain definitely coming back as a future recommendation los pimientos de padrón a bit spice next time.
Loved the octopus and the paella if you want to have a nice time you should definitely come here :)
M. L. R.
Tortillas were just ok, missing taste and a bit dry. Patatras bravas were good, croquetas as well. Polpo was on point, perfectly cooked, tender, not chewy at all. Mussels with sobrasada sauce were good but not exceptional. Crispy chicken and lamb were good, but could be more flavoured. Good Spanish wine selection. Not our first time here, we would come back. Quality is quite consistent.
V. C.
Always great. Been here a few times, the octopus probably the best dish! Decided to give the steak a try and was very happy with it too. Friendly staff, great service.
M. B.
Great ambience and interesting menu. The place has a wonderful warm feel to it and the staff were welcoming and added to the overall experience.
We only ate vegetarian dishes on this occasion and were not disappointed with the options available. The food is beautifully presented and of great quality.
Would highly recommend.

This place is amazing. Great tapas, amazing service. One of my favourite places! 5 stars!
S. X.
The staff at Iberica were very accommodating. We had few changes in our group booking and they happily amended our table to fit the increase in numbers. The food was great and the restaurant had great decor. Thank you for a great evening x
M. Z.
Such a lovely experience. Fantastic food and service. Truly great staff. We were a large group and yet they tended very well to us and were attentive! Definitely will be coming back. Particularly enjoyed the beetroot salad and the mussels. However, in my opinion it was slightly over priced unfortunately, hence the four stars instead of five.
Good wine selection as well though!
M. T.
Delicious tapas on a cold and rainy evening. COVID-secure processes in place. Tables spaced apart. Very professional and friendly staff. The croquetas and pulpo were highlights. And. Those crispy fluffy churros!!

Me and my fiancee had a random unplanned night here.
Firstly let me say we were so well looked after by the waiter and staff that it wouldn't have mattered if the served me a big mc.
Secondly the food........
Probably the nicest lamb, muscles, and pork I have ever had in my life.
If I was rich I'd probably be in here most nights.
Maybeca bit of live guitar music would be the only thing I'd add.
This place I'd my favourite tapas restaurant from yest

We went at 5pm and really loved the aesthetic of the restaurant and were sat upstairs. The toilets were lovely and clean too!
Our two servers Joan and Amelio were very smiley and had perfect English and customer service, very attentive, the moment we had a plate to take away or to order more drinks. Especially Amelio seemed to enjoy his job!
The food was fairly average for the price, but the rice pudding is to die for along with the authentic toasted bread with tomatoes. It was lovely and candle lit and I can't really fault it!
Will be coming again!
F. K.
Love the vibe of the restaurant, food is very nice! The padella is as nice as the one you could get in Spain too! Would be back for an evening with friends!

PPE COMPLIANT
I took myself on a date to this place.
I was there an hour, three glasses of rioja and three plates of tapas with olives and bread. The bill with tip was £70. I knew what I was getting myself in for so I was not shocked by the price.
The food was absolutely delicious! Along with the wonderful choice of wines!
The atmosphere was buzzing.
Great selection of meat & vegetarian.
(I had aubergine steak with twice cooked lamb and croquettes, it was DIVINE)
The staff were very friendly. The decor is up market yet casual. The vibe was groups of friends and couples, and me😂, however I didnt feel out of place at all. There is also another floor which was also fully booked. I was lucky to get a last minuet booking!
I would suggest this place for a date night, a fancy night with friends or a drink after work.
C. M.
Went in with my partner for a cheeky cheese and meat platter and wine just before dinner and had such a lovely time. Staff is super attentive and thoughtful, food is delicious and the place is so warm and elegant
Will definitely be back soon :)
V. P.
Had a really great experience yesterday, our waitress was attentive and gave us good advice on what to order. She remembered or drinks order even by the end of the night when we simply requested "the same". Food as always was great quality.
S. H.
Pretty good tapas place.. Everything was nice and the portions are reasonable. The cured meats are nice and the squid ink is nice. I pretty much ate the whole menu and was very full! A bit of gluttony was done here. In fact I think you only need 3 dishes... Our party went a bit crazy and ordered 50 dishes... Which was bit overkill and we could not finish it all.. Very nice decor and atmosphere too. In the heart of canary wharf. Service was good too
A. K.
My first dinner ever at Iberica restaurant, fantastic service and tasty food. Never tried tapas before. Also red wines were surprisingly good. You must try their octopus, twice-cooked lamb and rice pudding for a dessert!
P. P.
The food is really good, when they said typical Spanish food, it is because it taste like the food where really cooked in Spain. The taste is amazing. The price worth the food and the drinks.
M. M.
I had a dinner for two at Iberica.
The location is super cool, cozy and well designed. The food and wine that we had was absolutely delicious, personally recommend the paella. The service was excellent, everybody was nice but we really connected with Paola, who served our table. She was extremely pleasant, smiling and really added extra value to our experience.
C. C.
Very nice food as always. This is the second Iberica that I have been to.
However, the service was not very impressive. We were allocated to the table next to the service station where waitresses and waiters place orders on the machine, fetch clean napkins and cutlery, etc. They also gathered there to chat which was a bit noisy for us. The service was also rushed as one of them stood next to our table to wait for me to finish my food. While I was eating the last Pedro Pepper, she was trying to take my plate away already. When they gathered to chat, one of them stepped backwards without looking and almost knocked over the paella their colleague was going to serve us with.
If the quality of service could match with the quality of food, I would be happy to go there again.
L.
Brilliant food and the best customer service. I would defiantly come back here again.
A. J.
Great decor and atmosphere, helpful staff. They did a really good job with covid measures and we felt very safe to eat indoors. Some dishes were pretty good, others were OK. Overall was a good meal and good experience.
L. O.
We Got Engaged 💍 here last week Sat 26th June !!! A lovely restaurant! I highly recommend. Staff were so polite and gracious.
My Fiancé planned the proposal with the staffs help. They pulled all stops to make it very special for us. Lovely desert which was brought out and said the words " will you marry me?". One waitress kindly filmed the occasion for us. Recieved 2 glasses of champagne on the house. A big thank you to all the chefs and waiters on that shift .....made it extra special:)
F. R. g.
Really good quality and taste food.
Staff is so friendly
K. H.
Yum. Great atmosphere, excellent staff, amazing tapas, chicken paella was good; I'm told the shelfish is better..yum
D. E.
Superb lunch, comfort, impeccable service and delicious tapas. Can not recommend highly enough. The staff are welcoming and very proud of the restaurant and their heritage of the local food, acorn fed Iberica jamon, 30 year old aged Sherry and much more.....exceeded expectations
G. S.
A high class Spanish restaurant in the middle of Canary Wharf. The venue is spacious with high ceiling an the walls are decorated with bottles of wine. Some antique pictures of the spanish era are also framed near the bar area with a Toro head vividly looking over the area. Seatings consist of four different sections, two on level one and two on the 2nd floor. Each section has its own different feel and ambience. The tapas are very tasty and made with state of the art Spanish techniques. The Iberica ham is a must to order dish, as the flavor is simply excelente! The background music is classical espanola musical and plays an important role throughout the whole course of the meal bringing in the diner from London directly to Spain. A five star rating is well deserved by this restaurant. Viva Espana!
D. C.
Last dinner before lockdown 2.0. Soooo good! Very authentic, amazing waitstaff and a great date night.
Timing:
We had a sitting for 1.5 hours due covid sittings but I’d recommend 2 hours so you aren’t rushing.
Dishes:
They recommend 6 dishes for 2 people. We nearly did it all. If we weren’t pressed for time, we would have tried the churros. Next time 👏
Annoyingly I only took video of the food but here’s a shot of the interiors.
K. L.
Food was really good and lots of flavour, we ordered paella for 2 (there were 4 of us) and few tapas dishes to share - it was too much food! And great decor. High chair available but no baby changing facilities and a few steps upon entry into restaurant.
S.
I loved the atmosphere and decor in this restaurant, the menu is great too and the Jamon - well, just try it. We had a lovely glass of wine and a few bits to eat which were delicious. Unfortunately the afternoon was a bit spoilt when we asked for the bill. No response, got up and asked the bar staff for the bill, who found this rather amusing and then proceeded to enjoy the music, clean the glasses, joke around etc. Eventually we asked for the bill again and the manager brought it over and removed the service charge which was the correct thing to do. Such a shame because this place is fantastic, I'll definitely be back but will ensure I've got nowhere else to go afterwards. Another small gripe, if you want wine, they only serve glasses in 125ml or 150ml servings (or a carafe which is too much if you only want one).
M.
Great food, great speedy service. Delicious Paella.
B. G.
Delicious artisan cheese board and meatballs with frothy cheese, served by friendly staff. However no Diet Coke for my pal and they almost forgot our Padrón peppers ☹️
A. k.
Only popped in for a drink and a snack with friends.
We were sat incredibly fast and our waiter approached almost immediately to tell us what was and what wasn’t available. He showed great knowledge of the menu as he made a few recommendations. He’s service was polite, fast and very effective. Even though we only sat for 45 minutes because we had some time to kill before we were meeting other friends, the service was really fast and spot on!! Considering myself a foodie and always booking in different restaurants this was definitely one of the best experiences me and my friends had.
Our waiter was the lovely Marco!!!
D.
Very friendly and attractive staff. Paella and Sangria excellent! Would definitely come again
N. P.
Wine selection amazing ! Food even better than in Spain
S. Z.
Great iberico jamon and cheese! Especially liked the tempranillo we had. Mussels were good as well. Great ambience - lively without feeling too busy. The Torremayor Tempranillo is one of the best wines I've had ever.
N. H.
The average mark is purely on value for money and the fact that I ate some more food when I got home, as I was still hungry after the meal.
The service was great, food amazing. Ambiance of the restaurant was laid back yet crisp.
Yet, the portions are rather small and are priced about 25% above what I would expect from a higher end Tapas restaurant.
Between two of us, we had the "Half and half" cheese & meats platter, 5 tapas dishes, one cocktail and one beer.
Talking pricing, for instance, the platter is £14. For what was served, I would suggest £10 is a generous price. 3 thin pieces of two different cured meats, 6 slices of chorizo, 3 small chunks of cheese and 2 cubes of quince cheese. It was all excellent quality, yet felt like a stingy portion.
In my head, we ate around £65-70 worth of food & drink at the standard and ambiance delivered to us. The bill was just under £100 (including service)
Unfortunately, not somewhere we are in a hurry to revisit.

Okay so I ve been here twice. First time the seafood paella I had was very nice and a bit burnt how it should be. Second time it wasnt really burnt and was more greasy. Thats why the 4 starts. But to be honest its a nice place if u r looking for some nice spanish food. Wines are nice as well. Their jamon is delicious too! Overall recommended
L. M.
We visited Iberica in Canary Wharf yesterday and it was amazing. The food was very well presented, the flavour of the dishes was perfect and the service with Wendy couldn't be better. All I have is good words, we will for sure come back as we felt like at home in Asturias.
Muchas gracias por todo a todo el equipo y en especial a Wendy.
V. N.
Marco was very helpful with the selection of the meals.
Maria she was very professional and passionate about her job.
But the cherry on the top will definitely go to Jesus, (head chef) who was very attentive to the dishes and very dedicated to his job.
J. T.
Excellent food, drink and service - albeit pricey. Authentic Spanish cuisine is not that easy to find in London, so I will return.
L. D.
Lovely cosy restaurant with a nice selection of tapas and an excellent variety of drinks. The ox tail was recommended to me and I was not disappointed! Super rich, tender ox tail patties on a bed of sweet potato puree. I loved the croquetas de jamon, filling and tasty. Another thing to try would be the calamares, some restaurants over cook them till they are a chewy mess, others under season them, but these were perfectly crispy and I mopped up the plate. The staff are genuinely polite and beautiful. Perfect for a little get together with friends.
A. C.
Amazing croquetas, really good black rice and calamari. Very decent Spanish food. Good sangria. Not expensive.
D. T.
The paella was a bit too salty. Other than that everything else were quite good. Their olive have rich flavour. Manchego platter was delicious. Chorizo lollipops is a must-try
F. F.
Amazing Spanish tapas, and the service was very friendly, we loved the croquetas.
J. F.
Had a great meal weekend before the bank holiday with my friend.
Our waitress was very attentive and despite being outside the atmosphere was good.
Food was freshly cooked and very.
Only snag it wasn't the restaurant I had pre-booked.
M. B.
Special recognition to Cristina who handled an unpleasant food incident with the utmost kindness and professionalism and turned an awful disaster into a nice and pleasant birthday celebration.
Will definitely come back again soon.
Thanks Cristina!
J. L.
I love iberica. 10/10 service. Miriam, pamola and mario went above and beyond to make our day special 💕
S. H.
Atmosphere is very lively so not ideal for a quieter meal but the food is absolutely amazing.
C. D.
This is my favorite Ibérica restaurant. I think the space is very nice and cozy and feels pretty big. Food is really tasty and has a good selection of drinks
L. H.
Love this place as being a trustworthy, reliable. For office parties they have great spaces upstairs and downstairs so you feel quite secluded. If you come as a couple, it’s got a good atmosphere. Occasionally the big parties will be loud but way better to hear each other speak than other Wharf places. Tapas is great, recommend the Polpo and Croquettas. Good wine list, Rioja was good. Service can be mixed though, had to place our order twice! £50 each for a decent red and good mix of tapas is a win though I think.
L. L.
Delicious tapas and very friendly service. Prices are slightly towards the more expensive scale.
J. C.
Great place to go for a bite. We were craving Spanish food and this is indeed one of the best places to go to. Lovely food and really good service. You won't be disappointed.
If you decide to go, go for the paella.
J. F. B.
Great atmosphere and nice service but food was not to my taste.
E. C.
Went there recently to take advantage of the Eating Out discount. Had never been in before because it’s honestly a wee bit out of my price range. But then most tapas places tend to add up once you get a lot of dishes.
Food was delicious! I especially enjoyed the croquetas. We also had pork, which was yum, and octopus.
Staff was so friendly and attentive, which is what pushes it into 5 stars.
Don’t know if I would pay those prices again before my next pay raise, but it was sweating a lovely night with great food.
m. h.
Shrinking tapas menu but still a fun and tasty dining experience
N. E. V.
Best croquetas in London. Good menu, real Spanish kitchen. Friendly staff. I highly recommend this places.
J. M.
I’ve had Spanish food elsewhere in London but am mostly disappointed but must say Iberuca tucked all the right boxes. First the decor is so rustic and transports you to rural Spain. The service is very good and food is amazing both in taste and presentation. The Sangria was very good as well. I went with my friend from Switzerland and we were two happy girls. Come for late Sunday lunch today. It was our anniversary. Team was helpful and friendly. Manager very helpful always add some story to the dish and help with recommendations. We will be back
K. H.
We visited last night and everything was perfect the tapas was very delicious and full of flavour. The service 5 star. The only downside was we were seated next to a miserable couple who obviously go out to complain. All we could hear from the bitter lady next to our table was complaining. This is a friendly place for dining out and highly recommend to go visit a Michelin star Restaurant if you are very picky on everything, you are ruining other peoples night.
Y. S.
I have edited my review as I have now seen that all 4 stars are coming from local guides which makes you wonder if they eat there for a proper discount or even for free.
I think that people need to know that this is not a Spanish restaurant where you also can ,have Spanish meals, but just a fancy tapas restaurant.
I think the restaurant is over priced and after spending £100 (with £20 discount) I should not be going home hungry.
We ordered the boqueronnes and ansjovis. I do not expect to find 4 to 5 of this little fish on my plate for that price. I don't know how you can justify £1.50 per little fish. Luckily we order some bread, but it was not a lot and clearly heated up and not fresh.
Again as in an other review the rice was not available. This seemed to be the only substantial food I could order and as the menu is small as it is, why can you not have rice with chicken on the menu is beyond me.
We ordered 4 different sherry's. First time they forgot to bring me mine, but my husband had his and the sherry just looked very cloudy like the sediments of the sherry had been used. One glass was fuller than the other and I thought the measurement was rather scant.
Before we even had finished our small fish appetisers, our two tapas came to the table. What happened to taking time to relax in between courses? The two tapas were absolutely not enough and very small in proportions. Yes, they are tapas, but I specifically asked if this was enough for one person as a meal. Especially as I could not believe that you can pay 12.5 for one small dish!
We decided to skip the desserts and went for the cheese platter which had I think 5 tiny slivers of cheese with a couple of nuts, 5 grapes and some jelly. It is an absolute disgrace to ask £13.5 for that.
When it was time to pay, we were given the wrong bill!
Don't get me wrong the staff was very friendly and attentive, but I feel ripped off. We went there to support the restaurants, but do not want to walk out hungry with a feeling that we were taken for fools.
Never again for this restaurant. They seem to forget that we are not all investment bankers dining out on the boss.
F. A.
The Tortilla on the classic tapas menu was my favourite, the black rice was a bit too salty and you'd have to search for the prawn. I'd recommend you try the winter menu it was quite nice. The complimentary olives were a nice touch. The decor is beautiful, the restaurant branding is detailed even to the glassware. The seating upstairs is a bit close so the next table can easily hear your conversation but everyone was so noisy that I didn't mind too much. The service was good but I couldn't quite get the attention of the waitress serving our area to bring my bill so I had to get up and walk to the service point to pay which I thought was a bit annoying.
K. G.
Nice spanish restaurant, maybe a little bit fancy. Very nice staff and the food is delicious.
D. P.
Awesome super tasty food and great service.
Maria Jesus also helped us choose our meals, changed our table as my mother uses crutches and we were very tight where the receptionist initially seated us. She is a star, great example of PERFECT COSTUMER SERVICE.
Love this place, love Spanish food/people, will definitely be back. 💖 Thank you! Keep up the amazing work you all do.
J. v. A.
Very nicely decorated Spanish restaurant in the heart of Canary Wharf. The tapas have been very tasty and of good size, although the pricing is also on a rather higher level (but standard for London / this location). We came with 4 people in the evening and got a table in spite of no reservation - can definitely be recommended.
B. K.
Great tasting food, nice atmosphere and lovely staff.
R. F.
Good tapas variety but few had a great look and many had pretty plain flavours. Great vibe if a little noisy. Overall the six of us had a lovely evening but even after all the tapas I still felt some serious meat was needed to make it a dinner 😃
S. G.
One of my go-to restaurants in Canary Wharf, I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve visited for a quick bite solo or with friends and family. Good service, pleasant atmosphere.
On the food itself, the patatas bravas are outstanding and should be the first thing ordered. Great accompanying a cheese and meat platter and maybe some patron peppers. World class selection of sangria too.
P. B.
Some of the the best quality hams I have tasted outside of Spain. To be fair, better than some I have tasted in Spain (my humble opinion of course). Great food, great atmosphere with very attentive but not intrusive service. It wasn't very busy during our visit (Saturday early evening, this may change during peak times). Maybe a little expensive, but overall it was worth the little extra. This was our first visit, although it definitely won't be our last.
A. M.
Good food, good service. Tried the Octopus and loved it. A bit on the expensive side but surely worth trying.
H. S.
A nice, 2-storey Spanish restaurant where one can find an authentic Spanish food. There are many tapas to choose from. We went there in a group of 9 and basically what we did was to choose 2 dishes each to share. I'm not sure if it was due to their peak hour or what but sadly not all the food served at the same time and some of our orders didn't came through at all. The portion is very small ( it's tapas after all) therefore don't assume you will leave there full, the food taste good and worth the money though.
M. P.
The food is great, good lunch menu. We went as a group of 5 and did have problems with the service though. Had to ask for some of the things we ordered quite a few times, drinks were wrong when they arrived and we didn't get a side that was supposed to get as a part of the fixed menu. The waitress was actually quite rude about this too and said we had had everything. The chips turned up after we'd finished eating. And I didn't appreciate being accused of trying to get a portion of chips dishonestly. No apology, 95p discount off the bill. Bad experience because of this, which is a shame, as the food is great. Might try a different branch.
M. S.
Authentic Spanish quality food.. more than tapas; warm environment
M. D.
Very nice place, amazing staaf. Pulpo was super yummy
C. L.
Amazing food, great atmosphere.
I never like olives. When I saw the olives on the table, I hesitated. My friend said it tasted great so I thought I should try. So glad I tried as they were not bitter, and they were refreshing - great appetizer!
We ordered some ham, the Crispy Aubergine, Tortilla and the Chicken Paella. Aubergine is probably not everyone's go-to but I highly recommend it! It was crispy on the outside but soft on the inside, and most importantly it was not oily at all! The fried quinoa on the top (if I'm not mistaken) added a nice touch to the dish, with the "miel de caña" sauce (tasted sweet) making it perfect. The Tortilla is simple but delicious. The ham and paella were delectable as well.
Not cheap but it's worth the price. Great atmosphere even we were sitting at the bar table. Nice decor. Will go again if I travel to London again!
P. Y.
As a first visit felt very welcomed. Friendly staff, quick service and a good choice of drinks. The outside seats are located in a way not to be so close to each other. It is clever, cozy and relxing. You can enjoy the great view around especially after the night fall. I hope next time our drinks will be served in glasses.
M. S.
The food is wonderful. I suggest octopus as tapas and seafood paella as main course. Service could be better, we received our main course and then we had to wait few minutes for plates and cutleries. To be fair the waiters were really busy and the restaurant was completely full. Tables can be a bit too close to each others. Booking in advance is strongly recommended if you don't want to find yourself waiting half hour for a free table. Globally a very pleasant experience.
S. G. A.
The size of the tapas has been reduce while the price has increased. They have also put too much creativity on traditional dishes (like albondigas wirh sour cream...)
E. E.
Excellent. Super friendly staff, and the tapas selection doesn't disappoint. Might be nice to add a few traditional tapas to the selection though ;)
T. B.
Very good paella, great experience, and very good service.
We showed up early and Carla got us seated in an almost empty room, and I was happily surprised to see that the level of service stayed up despite the room filing up to capacity.
Will definitely come again
V. O.
I really loved the place. I went with a friend and the atmosphere in "La terraza" was really nice! The food: whatever we tried was actually pretty nice in comparison with all the other Spanish restaurants that we have tried before in London! We loved the octopus a la gallega, and the mussels. The sangria was very nice too and really nice presented.
The staff was nice and friendly! Mostly the girls.
What can I say? I am Spanish and I loved it. I love canary wharf. And I'll definitely back!
M. C. S.
I consider myself a regular in Iberica Canary Wharf, as I am there at least once a week. That says a lot about the place. The food is great and the staff is very attentive. Specially the meat carver, Markos from Mexico. He always takes the time to explain what meats he is serving and were they're from, which makes the whole experience much more enjoyable. The selection of cured meats board and the croquetas are the ones to go for!!!
M.
Spanish tapas are equivalent to those in Barcelona. Highly recommend the cheese plates, cured meats and chorizo options! Best place for dinner in a sea of corporate places within Canary Wharf. If you’re looking for some culture, and great food during your business trip to this generic corporate complex than this is the place to go!
J. B.
A very authentic tapas bar! The food is great, especially the chorizo lollipops. The decor makes the restaurant feel like it is somewhere in the Mediterranean, with various dried ham legs hanging from the wall! The staff are very attentive and will bring you a constant stream of food if you ask them. The restaurant is very easy to get to, 5 minutes walk from either Canary Wharf underground station or the CW pier.
U. M.
I have been coming to this restaurant for 2 years now and it truly is the one of the best Spanish restaurants in London.
Ibérica and Barrafina are the only places worth visiting. The staff are great and the atmosphere is uniquely comfortable however the food is the real gem!
With their own twist there are great inventions of the original and the taste covers for the fact that it may not have the Barcelona sea salts smelling from a fresh catch a few hours ago.
You cannot go wrong here, if you have not yet go to visit this amazing place!! - Even for just a drink ;)

I went with my friends to have a dinner and was an amaizing experiece, excellent service of Maria waitress with the best welcoming. excellent people, is so nice to see people always smiling around, and apart the maracuya martini was the sensation on my table, and around as I could see, my friends feel in love with chorizo llollypoops and the selection of ham. (amazing Spanish food) Was the first time for my friends and we gonna be back. Thank you.
E. T.
I have been in a couple of Iberica in London and I can only say that the food is amazing. They bring the products from Spain and are really good quality. The Canary Warf brunch is very nice, spacious and well decorated. Highly recommended!!
E. H.
Great service. Staff are polite and accommodating to make customers feel comfortable
P. P.
Nice food but £££ as expected by location.
K. R.
I love Spanish food but, for some reason, I didn't really have high expectations here. Turns out I was wrong - really lovely food, great quality jamon and a wonderful selection of sherry. Service has always been attentive and efficient, and it's hard to really find fault for a nice dinner after work.
V. K.
One of our favourite "go to" restaurants anytime we feel like eating out in Canary Wharf. Great service and tasty menu - and because it's tapas you can try a wide variety of dishes each as delicious as the next. Mmmmm.... I'm feeling hungry just thinking about it!
V. A.
Best Spanish restaurant we could find in London. To order - croquetas de jamon, Spanish paella, chorizo lollipops, asparagus toast (all mentioned is super duper yum)
The selection of wine is specially imported from Spain. Highly recommended.
H. Z.
Everything is like just fine...the tortilla looks like it’s from Tesco though (the Tesco tortilla is not that bad, would recommend). The chicken paella looks a bit sad with 5 pieces of chicken scattered around
K. J.
Some dishes were outstanding (but these were the pre-prepared imports such as jamon) some ok, some poor; not at all what you'd expect of a Michelin-starred chef. The service and decor are good but, on food alone, it deserves no more than 3 stars.
V. S.
I'm a regular at Iberica. Very good tapas, wine list is plentiful including Spanish wines, service is professional. Usually busy the right way throughout the week (not too much, not too little). You can't go wrong!
R. C.
Do you love spanish food but modern style and innovative cuisine? Then this is your place. Great for business or impress your partner. Try the black rice or pork belly
A. H. P.
I would like to say a big thank you to Maria the manager for making my 11 year old daughter's Mariza-Jane's birthday special. The food was wonderful and the service is excellent. I will definately recommend it to all my friends to come and visit. When ever they are in town. Probably the best paella in the world. Once again thank you so much keep up the good work.
See you soon...
Mr Alberto Pacho

Iberica has a 1940s-Madrid feel about it with a lot of mahogany and vintage posters. There is a lively bar downstairs (where you can also get food) and more of a restaurant area in a mezzanine level. We asked for wine recommendations and the waiter brought a nice white Catalan grenache. For tapas we played it fairly safe but they have a seasonal specials menu for the more adventurous. I like the chorizo lolipops (slices deep-fried on sticks :0)), croquetas, and gambas in particular, their calamari is also really good.
S.
Food was good I thought. The service. My god. It's a comedy show if you're feeling relaxed or a complete frustration if you're not. Here's an example: we ordered a white wine, when the waiter poured a taster of red wine I asked what was going on, and get this, he said they had run out of the white wine, but there was a red by the same label! If you're in the mood for some ridiculous service and some decent tapas give it a go - but be prepared.
A. C.
A bit pricier than we expected, but still what a wonderful experience me and my friends had. The food was very good - being andalusian, I loved the fruity touch on the gazpacho. Also, it was a great surprise finding Alhambra beer in London.
And of course the service, with special mention to Gaia, who was wonferful and very pleasant.
E. V.
Decent place to go. Tapas are always great when you want to socialise, you will try different things. Food was delicious, easy to eat. Service was decent, few minor issues but overall we were satisfied.
C. P. C.
Great food, ambient and friendly staff.
R. T.
Food was good but service was super slow. The staff had as very much not my area, not my problem type of attitude.
H. L.
Food is good and the service is also nice. The ambience quite nice and they have some monthly special from a part of Spain. And one staff is really good to share recommendation and very nice services and casual chit chatting.
T. C.
Fabulous tapas with rich, full flavours. Very nice dining space but the bench seating upstairs is nicer to look at than it is to sit on. Make sure you try the squid ink risotto.
J. A.
We desised to go to this restrunt with a few friends we booked a table I advance so we could have paella aa you nesd to order in advance. We had some tapas that was incredible. The staff were brilliant and I didn't want to leave. I would highly recommend this restrunt to anyone wanting great value and amazingly flavoursome spanish food. Well done!
J. W.
The food was tasty as were the drinks. We sat outside across from the main restaurant for a tasty lunch. Staff were a bit slow to assist, perhaps it was busy. Appreciate it is outside but there was a fair bit of tree debris around. Food tasty but overall rather pricey.
M. B.
Lovely food and drinks. Our old fashioned came in a unusual glass container filled with smoke, which we all quite liked. Quite expensive, but worthwhile for a nice night out. We were sitting inside, quite a lot of interesting decorations and cosy decour.
L. P.
Liked the service, the croquettes and the paella.
C. A.
The best spanish food I have ever eaten outside of spain and delicious sangria
A. B.
Great food. One star less because the service could be improved - staff was a bit slow when taking orders, bringing them and the bill. I had some issues with the reservation, too.
T. G.
One of my favourite tapas places! Delicious food, great atmosphere!
K. R.
Yummy! Chorizo lollipops are divine. Pardon peppers are staple and service was fantastic. Been to the location and Victoria which was excellent as well. Great for business lunches
S. G.
Quality tapas in London.
Ibérica restaurant sets a high bar for quality Spanish food in London. The one in Canary Wharf is my favourite.
A wide choice of delightful dishes on the menu: a refreshing red berries and beetroot gazpacho, succulent Ibérica pork burgers, chorizo lollipop, black risotto with seafood and alioli sauce that melts in your mouth, and tender twice-cooked lamb with marinated peppers. That’s just to name a few of quality well-cooked ingredients not overwhelmed with spices. All washed down with a jar of sparkling fruity sangria.
Portion sizes are pleasingly above the average for tapas places, so it’s wise not to over-order. Leave some space for the culmination of the fiesta – a delicious “tarta de la abuela” – creamy chocolate and condensed milk dessert.
Well-decorated high-ceiling premises with two mezzanine levels (one available for private parties) set a nice atmosphere. Friendly service. Reasonable prices.
G. R.
Great ambience and food selection for a leisurely chat with friends or business colleagues. Attentive and friendly staff. Has both options for indoor or outdoor dining for the occasional London summers weather.
K. H.
Awesome restaurant - great menu, everything has been prepared well the multiple times I've been. The bar is excellent too - the smoked old fashioned is highly recommended!
A. P.
As a spaniard there aren’t many places i really like for spanish food in London and this us my favourite. It is quite expensive BUT i rather get food here than get ripped off in Brindisa. I really like it, they have quality products and they let you keep the glass water bottles if you want them 😊
P. S.
Fantastic place to have real Spanish food. Tapas are delicious but Spanish cuisine is much more than tapas. This is a good place to discover it.
A. W.
Very good food restaurant in the shopping mall of Canary Wharf as I went here for a school trip and I had eaten here in this Spanish restaurant the food was amazing and tasty like normal but it was made in the Spanish version Spanish style how Spanish people make food which was very good Spanish food I enjoyed it and I enjoyed the whole school trip too as Uxbridge High School has paid for it aha which was good as I had a lot of fun on this school trip with my friends overall great school trip it was a Geography school trip with my teacher Miss R . Ali who was a good teacher for geography who had paid for all of us to go which was very good trip so the trip was free and i had so much fun going to and exploring Canary Wharf shopping mall and the Museum of London Docklands too very good area and place
C. M.
Always a reliable venue for a good meal. Some of the plates do seem to be getting smaller in size, but that seems to be the case in many venues. Ppp at £30-35 without starters, alcohol or dessert.
A. S.
Nice atmosphere! lovely staff. This is a friendly place for dining out.
Everything was nice and the portions are reasonable.
R. F.
Atmosphere is a bit on the formal side and tables are incredibly close to one another (note to my table neighbour: probably best to do your year end review at that famous bank around the corner at the office :). Food is good but lacks the wow factor. Good place for a weekday lunch.
C. W.
The tapas at Iberica are the most authentic I have experienced in London. This restaurant in particular was very busy so booking is recommended. Lots of lovely Spanish staff too!
T. L.
A lovely, quiet restaurant with incredible food and service. The tasting menu was a real experience and a perfect way to celebrate a special occasion.Menu is fantastic value for the quality of food available.
M. W.
Great tapas, as always. It was busy so some of the dishes were slow to arrive, the last one to arrive was comped. Great selection of wines.
K. P.
Awesome food, super nice staff members, consistently excellent ambience. They charge reasonable prices and the food quality is great. Kudos.
S. O.
The food was fantastic. The octopus and pumpkin salad were my favorite dishes we ordered. The service was not great, hence the missing star.
D. S. M.
Above the average price of other tapas restaurants in London but the location is very convenient for those who work in Canary Wharf, the food is pretty authentic and I've always had a good experience with the service.
E. M.
One of the best tapas I ever had! Order the croquettas and the toast with aspergues. Great wines and atmosphere. A bit pricy, but very much worth it.
S. S.
Lovely relaxed and stylish setting with great food and service
L. B.
Amazing food and great service, we love coming here! Ps: portions are not small, we are always super full when we leave 💃🏽
H. S.
If you're Muslim or Jewish, you're *probably* going to have to stay away unless you *really* love seafood. In which case you're alright.
I'm in the awkward situation of being one of the above and not being a big fan of seafood. Oops! This led to a lot of awkward harrumphing over the menu, which if you're choosing tapas, can lead to a bit of a disconnect when something arrives at the table, so remember what you've ordered!
If you do remember what you've ordered, then there are some treats, like the Spanish Omlette (still lovely and yolky inside) and the octopus, which I tried there for the first time and liked!
C. Y.
Great good, lovely seafood paella (a bit salty but good rice mixing with seafood flavors sunken in). Good service too
G. T.
Beautiful atmosphere, good for dates and dinner with family. The food was delicious!.
Super nice staff members, consistently excellent ambience.
A. H.
Very slow service but nice food and chilled atmosphere
B. W.
First time I went was unexpected and left the restaurant amazed by its food. Second time went with some friends and received an outstanding service and food was flawless. Amazing place and very alive!
M. v. A.
Iberica's summer patio on Cabot Square is always packed!
Their wine is delicious, and their tappas offer a selection of fresh and flavourful creations.
Compared to other surrounding bars/restaurants, Iberica is a bit pricier, but is a nice summer hangout.
D. B.
Sat with some friends at the patio bar on a sunny summer day. We had a few pinchos and the squid sandwich (which was delicious!). We also had a jug of the sangria cava which was amazing!
z. s.
Great staffs and fantastic food!
E. J.
I love Spanish food and love to come here with friends and family. The staff is very friendly and always recommend me something special to taste.
R. L.
Superb food and fantastic atmosphere. I came here for a early dinner with friends and was served by cheerful and friendly waiters. Would visit again for sure!
F. R.
Really nice tapas and Spanish food. Quality is great. Staff are attentive.
P. S.
As someone who has travelled extensively in Spain and has indulged in the various cuisines of each region, I am incredibly impressed with the authenticity of this place. Best Spanish restaurant in London? Maybe.
M. M.
Amazing terrace for warm weather. Very friendly staff. Coffee is bad - but it's not a coffee place. Pretty decent food (snacks) for your drinks
N. P.
Excellent service and great atmosphere! Sometimes I go there with friends for a quick coffee and churros. They have the best coffee in London.
E. Z.
Very good tapas and the fact they have the legs of jamon ham by the window just draws you in. The menu does offer variety to one's liking.
R. R.
Very good food but the music in the restaurant is too loud to have a decent, relaxing conversation. Made us leave early
A. C.
Very impressed. Selection of top-notch iberico ham, generally great high-end tapas dishes. Potato croquette or squid ink ink wins.
S. A.
Maybe it was the dishes I chose but it was average for me. It definitively did not have the freshness and taste I have experienced in Spain.
S. R.
Expensive but the octopus is just amazing!
L. P.
Perfect place and the food was excellent. Great atmosphere. People working there very nice.
M. D. S.
We had an amazing new year's eve night. Music and Gintonics were just a perfect combination. Super funny staff!!

M. G.
Amazing and authentic Spanish restaurant in London. I’m Spanish and I love it. Great paella, tapas.... 10/10 😋
L. O.
Good place for tapas - better food quality than at La Tasca but also higher prices. Try black squid rice - really good dish.
Y. B. N.
Nice authentic Spanish food. Highly recommended!
D. C.
This is my local Spanish. Love the ambience and staff are friendly. I had great food there but it does feel like slightly over priced.
J. V. R.
Cosy restaurant bringing the standards of quality of Ibérica brand in UK. With the ‘Terraza’ every summer just in front.

Lunch meal that was on the higher end of the price range totalling ~£77 for 2 (no alcohol).
Tapas was generally good, but the Paella which I expect to be their signature dish given one of the most expensive dishes was burnt.
Mid tier rating, it satisfied our hunger but wouldn't necessarily be the first on recommendations.
S. S.
Great quality Spanish food, with an amazing customer service as well, overall everything was perfect
R. M.
Best croquetas in town! Great and kind staff.

Today is Tanabata, we specially came to eat (see) Jamon! The squid rice here is also good. I don’t know why I want to eat cheese and bread today. I ordered bread with cheese (it was originally served with jamon). Shrimp is good!

(Translated) The food is quite well obtained as in Spain, not the size of the portion that is typical of London. The disappointing thing was that the girl at the entrance told me that eating at the bar did not charge the "service", total was for a short time. To drink I asked for water and they brought me an open bottle that I thought was from the tap until I saw on the bill that it was worth 3.95 ... anyway. Despite the fact that the food and treatment is super good. I practically paid more for water and service charge than for food. However, maybe I will come back but keeping this in mind. What also strikes me is that they ask you to leave the bank card in a plastic case to a waitress / o to prevent people from leaving without paying. The truth is that this couple of things generate a lot of mistrust. Keep that in mind if you go. Food 9/10
(Original)
