I’ve been here a few times. It is my favourite Caribbean takeaway. The food is delicious and they offer great portions. One £20 platter is enough for 2 adults and you can still have enough to eat later. Their fruit punch is amazing. Most staff are nice there is only one or two who aren’t that friendly. They have 3 tables inside but if you want to eat there I would advice you to wear a jumper as it’s freezing in there.

Ordered via Uber eats. Quick delivery. Amazing food and understanding staff. Asked for no rice and peas with my meal but instead to compensate with extra chicken and they kindly did it for me. Doesn’t get much better than this

(Sept 2020) This place is sensational! I had the boneless jerk main with plantains and it was ridiculously tasty. I'm honestly still thinking about it hours later, I hope these burps never end. Staff are genuinely nice and the prices are great value. Really looking forward to going back and trying the other options. Also, if you like it hot, ask for the chilli sauce. Update Jan 2021 (reopening after a few months closed): food is still as sensational as before. Had it last night and don't want the sweet memories of the flavour to ever end. For the love of Jah, please stay open and don't change!

The guys really need to warm up the food properly. Went to collect a takeaway meal for the family yesterday - every single meal was cold. It was only a 10 minute drive. This is now the 3rd/4th time this has happened which is why I’ve chosen to leave a review on it. Not on guys. But the FOOD IS AMAZING! Have been to plenty of carribean eateries but the food that comes out of this place is just brilliant.

The West Indian food at this place is great. Best in the area in my opinion. Which is why I go out off my way to buy my food from here. Whoever manages this place however, is either inexperienced or lazy. It’s like this. You might go there when they’re supposed to be open and they’ll tell you, “nahh, we’re closed” or even worse, “we’re out off food” and they never answer the phone.

Really good food with great flavour. Slightly longer than expected wait for the food to arrive, but it was so worth it as the food tasted freshly cooked and not reheated. Friendly staff and very reasonable prices. Will definitely be visiting here again.

Amazing place. I got: - Jerk Chicken Wrap - Seasoned Fries - Plantain - Coleslaw Everything was great, and at really fair prices. Highlight was probably the jerk sauce, which is the perfect amount of heat and taste. And the plantains are incredible. Only thing I would change is the coleslaw portion was a little small.

Had an amazing dinner from here this eve, probably the third time we've had their takeaway. The Uber driver forgot half of our order and the restaurant couldn't have been more helpful. Love the food here but I think the quality of the meat for the boneless jerk chicken has gone down. Don't let the standards drop Indie Roots because you were becoming a great Caribbean Restaurant and they are hard to find in the Walthamstow area.

Got their flyer through my door on Thursday so went to see what they had. Well...ordered the jerk chicken dumpling burgers and saltfish dumpling. They were delicious. Well worth £5, they were huge. Just had an amazing meal from Indie Roots, Curry goat and rice was cooked to perfection as was the plantain and Mac n cheese. This establishment never fails to deliver on food quality and quantity and would highly recommend it if you want a a a delicious reasonably priced meal.

Best Jerk Chicken in E17, prices aren't bad either. perhaps they can offer a bigger portion of Coleslaw tho. Or a Lunchbox will do well if they offer Jerk Chicken, RIce and Peas, Plantain, Cole slaw and salad all in one for a price.. instead of having to order everything seperately and ending up being 14/16 pounds.. none the less.. strongly recommend this spot. And the Seafood Combo is banging too.
