Authentic Turkish kebabs! So long since I've tasted these! Excellent quality. Large clean restaurant. I'm looking forward to coming back, next trip to London 😋😘

Cocktails taste great, I had the Caribbean peach. Food was absolutely delicious. We had the adane kofte and prawn pasta. Great atmosphere with a shisa lounge and music. Shisa had a good variety of flavours. Regular imdoor dinning is also available. Strongly recommend for groups or couples.

The meals were reasonably priced costing between £11-16. The cocktails tasted lovely too, would recommend for a date night or to go out as a group. There was a variety of shisha, something for everyone's taste palette. My only fault was that I was quite cold, the heaters was not hot/warm enough so I was quite uncomfortable due to this. Other than that I would probably return when the weather is better as I was seated quite close to the door.

The place, food, waiters were all amazing, i was expecting something casual and fancy, but this was way better, the music, belly dancers and overall just the vibe was perfect. I’ve never liked going out to restaurants, but I’ve got to say, this one is a 10 out of 10 !! Outside it looks quite boring, but inside is like wonderland, the lights are all different colours, and really bright, it was gorgeous. The belly dancer was absolutely beautiful, me and my family all payed 5 bucks for her incredible dancing. Highly recommend coming to this restaurant, this was my first Turkish restaurant I’ve ever been to and experienced, and this all is coming from a teen!

We diner in two of us, we didn't have a booking but no fuss was made as the place is big enough. The food was very tasty, we got 2 starters and a sharing meat plater and was lots of food that we were able to take home the rest of it. Staff was lovely and attentive, no fuss was made when ask for doggy bag. I don't give 5 stars because I do reserve it for 5 star fine dinning, but the place it is great and there is nothing on were to complain.

Good shisha and cocktails, very nice food. Once the food was ordered arrived super quickly and was delicious. On a few occasions it took a couple of attempts to get served, no beer on draft and not a wide selection. Still fantastic though!

Amazing customer service. Ordered Adana Iskander, was ok but used to be much better and didn't come with salad which was a bummer. And they charge for Turkish Tea. Many places offer it for free. But overall a good night.

The food is of good quality, the atmosphere is calm. The toilet is cleaned frequently and the conditions for disinfection are observed. The prices are decent. The waitress we came across did not work professionally, forgot a salad, later when we did not need the services and constantly passed by the table, and when we wanted to order something it cost us effort to notice and serve us, I attribute it to the fact that training and I hope to become a professional quickly for the sake of their future clients.

Been here many times previously. As usual, the food is great. Family platter has increased from £65 to £99 but still worth it in my opinion. Some staff not very attentive to tables. Had to complain on this ocassion but to be fair the person who seemed to be in charge did improve the situation drastically afterwards by taking charge of the table himself.

As expected of a meze reataurant portion sizes are generous and the food is of a high quality. As a resident in North London where there is a glut of Turkish and Hellenic cuisine I can say that the quality here matches many of the authentic restaurants north of the river. The outside seating area is well equipped for season round usage and provides a nice relaxed atmosphere, great for groups and larger parties. Interior decor is recently refurbished and looks cosy and modern. Service is of a good standard and the prices competitive. Good quality food giving value for money is always welcome. Parking is very limited to the side of the building which holds potentially up to 10 or so vehicles however there is a retail park nearby and street parking around the restaurant. During the pandemic the restaurant observed social distancing well and had hand sanitiser placed at various points throughout the restaurant. Menus were frequently wiped down as were surfaces.

The Istanbul Meze Mangal serves seriously tasty food in seriously large portions. The service, decor and atmosphere were all really good and you get what you pay for. That said I'd rather pay a little less and get a portion I have half a chance of finishing 😂

A decent enough Turkish place. The environment is chilled and friendly, but the food is nothing special and you can definitely find better tasting Turkish food in south London, especially for the price. However, the mocktails are very good.

We visited this restaurant on a Friday afternoon and must say I was quite impressive with the overall experience . The restaurant is situated a few mins from Colliers Wood underground station on a busy road . You can park for free directly across the road is you're visiting during the day time . We weren't greeted with a smile .. neither did we see one for the entire duration of the visit but nonetheless the food was what we were most interested in and the waiter was attentive. We ordered the set meal for two which included bread, lamb chops , ribs , chicken/lamb shish, chicken wings , cous cous, rice and salad - absolutely delicious . Full of flavour, decent quality, ample portions and fresh . The restaurant had a nice atmosphere to it ...we had the pleasure of listening to the same song for the visit .. seemed as though the tape was on loop perhaps lol ... We would definitely visit again as we very much enjoyed it.

Didn't have the best experience here as we ordered from two different waiters. The first waiter cancelled two of the meals because he thought it was added on to the entire order. Two out six of us got our food once everybody else was finished which ruined the evening, however the food was very nice and mistakes do happen. The manager was very apologetic and offered us some complimentary drinks.

Great place 4th time coming here. I could of given 5 stars if it wasn’t for the fact I had 15 people at my table and my order was missed. Eventually, the waiter came back (after letting the boss know what happened) my order was placed when all my friends had finished their meal. My lamb chops arrived, great, good portion too. Good place to dine in South Wimbledon. Were able to book a table in advance and were greeted quite well upon arrival. Service was good and the food was nicely presented and flavorful. Giving 4 stars as we were asked to leave to make room for the next reservation - we do understand as it was a Friday night post lifting of the pandemic related restrictions and the place needs to really get as much footfall as possible - but this was a bit of a dampener on the overall experience and hence a 4 star rating.

Was last evening with pre-booking in this place and was horrible customer service. Staff drought food and after 15 min 1 of the waiter asked us if he can bring to us empty take away boxes ,if we ready to pack our food and take it with us ? I visited this place 7 years ago, still on same level of nice delicious food and nice atmosphere but the lady managing tables and seating once the food served at 19:20 came to us before we even start eating to inform there is a reservation on this table so we have to leave before 8. A next level of rudness I never met is that a fast food chain , aren't we suppose to take our time to talk and eat and have desserts after! Anyway she withdrawn once we show that we also had reservation and will stay till the time we need to go , there was an Egyptian guy working there was so nice and get us a compliment of Baclava dessert plate beside our tea . The food is delicious. The meat is well presented and reasonable in price. The manager went out of his way to ensure my parents enjoyed their 50th anniversary and they really did. Will definately return. Used car park across the road and meal took less than 2 hrs.

Food really good. I had mix grill 4 which is 1 Adana 1 Doner, salad, rice and Bulger. Setting is really nice, had a belly dancer for entertainment and music playing for nice atmosphere. Not suitable of you want a quite meal, however inside maybe be different I didn't go in. The only downside is the smoke. We sat at the back which was covered and was told if we wanted to smoke then we needed to move out in the open roof part. That was fine as we don't smoke, however as the night progressed both tables on either side of us were smoking constantly, I had to ask the guy next to me if he minded not blowing smoke in our direction and holding his cigarette next to my seat as it was all blowing in my face, not sure he liked me saying that as the people I was with all said he then blew smoke in my direction on purpose after this. This isn't a reflection of the restaurant, however it is something to be aware of if you do not like smoking environments. The service was ok nothing special. And had to repeat requests several times.

Yesterday we visited this restaurant for the first time. And I was very excited and happy to say only that, everything was wonderful food It was terribly tasty, and the staff looked and it was. Very professional and kind. The atmosphere of the restaurant is unique and both sides. Surely I prefer it to friends, and I will certainly visit him again and again. Thank you very much for the good hospitality and the quality Food. Only one of the staff who served us and was very good, and a professional he made us to feel very good and comfortably. I've been here 3 times now and it is a favourite if you're in the area. Delicious food and plenty of it. Make sure you are hungry! The service is always fantastic and we have been very well looked after by Baris on two occasions now - he took our order for a table of ten with no paper and we all got exactly what we asked for. Went here for a birthday meal a couple of days ago, staff were friendly and greeted us with a smile. Service was prompt and menus given out straight away. Very big selection of food, lots of variety. The decor was nice, very fitting for the theme. The restaurant was understandably very busy as it was a Saturday night, however, service did not lack too much due to the volume of customers. Food took about 30 minutes to arrive. Ordered a sirloin steak which was a hefty portion, nice size. Ordered it medium, however, due to the thickness of the steak, it was almost rare it some parts, however, i was pleased overall. Some mix up with drinks, some had not arrived and had to be prompted. Brought a cake as a surprise for the birthday boy, however, seems like the staff has forgotten about it and had to be prompted twice, before they brought it out. Parking is very accessible and there is a retail park just across the road with lots of space and free parking, Overall, not too bad of an experience.

Some good food, some average. Service was friendly, but they made a couple of mistakes (brought alcohol when we don't drink and brought the wrong main dish). Cold starter meze was enjoyable although I've had better hummus elsewhere. The lamb moussaka was tasty, as was the sish. The rest, including lamb donor and kofte kebab was average.

A massive shout-out to all staff who made my mum's birthday amazing. The food was excellent! Everything was delicious and was served so quickly. The lamb chops and ribs are incredibly tender and well seasoned. The in the ambience in the garden sitting area was perfect for a family celebration. Safe place to eat as they are following the social distancing guidelines. The staff are helpful and very attentive too. This place reminds me so much of Turkey and I highly recommend it!

Can I just start by thanking the staff for an amazing night. Couldn't fault a single one of them. I've been to many Turkish restaurants in my time and this is by far my favorite. The starters were brought out very quickly which we we're then asked when we would like our mains started. The lamb was the juiciest I've had in a long time with lovely fresh salad. Nice looking Turkish restaurant.We had the mixed grill for two and asked for it to be well done; it wasn't, but the food was nice overall.and presented well. I've walked past it many times thinking it's just another average restaurant. This time, my wife and I decided to give it a go. Wow, we were pleasantly surprised. The quality of the lamb was superb and tasted absolutely fabulous. The staff were very attentive, helpful and smiled. The prices are very fair and well worth it. We will definitely make a regular appearance. To the potential customers out there, give it a try. We've got to support these restaurants otherwise we run the risk of them disappearing and being left with cheap takeaways. My message to the restaurant itself... for the love of God, do not drop the quality of your meat as this is what will bring me back again.

My absolute favourite restaurant. The food is beautiful and always cooked perfectly. The service is amazing as the staff are all attentive and polite and make you feel very welcome, especially the manager. I highly recommend the lamb ribs which are always piled high! Was invited by a friend who requestrdto reserve a table as he was running late to meet me and the children, and he came across arrogantly, saying tables are 'prebooked', as it gets busy at weekends which I was not aware. We were welcomed in by the manager, who is a very polite and humorous man. He suggested some Turkish starters and main dishes. I was craving meat so I took the Sirloin steak which was cooked medium to well done, perfect! For starters we took the garlic sausage, cooked livers and fried calamari. They were cooked to perfection and were delicious. The manager checked on us regularly and cracked a few jokes. The quality of the food was generally very good. Next time I'll order a more traditional main course. Great for weekend lunches with the family.

Food was expensive and large parties have to have the set menu, not my cup of tea.and then there service charge on the meal and service charge on the drinks. I don't like to be dictated about what I eat and how much tip I leave. On a good point the potions were large and the menu was reasonable but when you're stuck with the set menu (£22 per head) it's not worth it. Sorry won't be going again. If you're thinking of going make sure your party is less than 10 people and you can order off the menu other wise keep away.

Various flavours available just ask the member of staff , they know what they are doing! We had family pack which was served with large salad in the restaurant side before we got to the shisha garden. I've been a few times before but this was the first time in maybe 2 years as I've moved cities. If I remember correctly a blumist shisha was around £15 or £18 back then and it wasn't amazing but was good enough. You can imagine my surprise yesterday when I found out the price was £23.50 now! I wouldn't mind paying that if the shisha was amazing but this was no that great. The taste wasn't strong, the coal was harsh and it took literally 10 minutes to get some new coals after asking 4 members of staff! I've been to nearly all the shisha lounges in North London and not many charge no where near as much and the smoke smoothness lasts for over 2 hours. This was pretty much done by after 20 minutes or so. The lounge garden area is great but they really need to either drop the prices or get staff that know their shisha because I only expect to pay that much in a posh restaurant lounge in Central!

I've recommended this restaurant to so many people and they also love 😍 it as much as I do! It is well located - easily accessed by public transport, and a big car park is available opposite the restaurant. The interior design makes you feel as if you have made a big leap, landing somewhere around the Bosphorus - heavy oriental chandeliers and nice wall decoratins. What really makes you feel like been taken to Turkey is the food 🍲 - a huge variety of Mediterranean dishes cooked to perfection. The staff is very friendly and they have always made us feel welcome and at home. The restaurant has a big terrace. There is also entertainment - a belly dancer (I think she goes there on Fridays and Saturdays), but the music they play there during the week is very nice. The greatest parties though happen on December 31st when we see the New year in dancing and singing all the night!

[2016] Since 2013 the size of all the portions I've tried have become noticeably smaller. Nothing has gone below an acceptable size but the areas general lack of competition means they can get away with smaller portions, especially in comparison with Turkish resturants in Turkish areas like Stoke Newington or Croydon. My biggest problem with this resturant is that they routinely get orders wrong. To date roughly half of my orders have been incorrect. Once on a very significant birthday for one of my parents, which was extremely frustrating. [2013] An excellent restaurant that is off to a very good start although admittedly I am a big fan of Turkish food in general so my opinion might be slightly biased. I've been here twice now, once a friend who had gotten a raise and decided to treat me. We were very well attended by the staff and the level of service and food was excellent. A few weeks later I returned and had a take-away which was just as good. I'll happily return again.

When ordering takeaway, I ask them to make a custom made roll for me - which they happily do and OMG it's just amazing!
