As someone who knows the tastes of Turkish cuisine, Istanbul restaurant does this job really well. Excellent in terms of flavor and claims. The employees are very kind and helpful. I had the mixed seafood platter on my most recent visit and I highly recommend it. And you should definitely try the lentil soup... Thanks guys... You're doing a great job.

This is a class restaurant - and my familys favourite. The food is always excellent and there is plenty of excellent choice on the menu - it is a very comfortable setting and an ideal restaurant to celebrate many different family occasions as the food appeals to all ages. I must also praise the first class service (shout out to Hulya and her team for always being so welcoming ). Worth a try and i am sure you will not be disappointed.

Amazing food tonight! Perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned. The best falafel I have ever tried. So moist and full of flavour.I highly recommend the lamb tajine, the chicken soup and the spinach pastry. And of course excellent service! Thanks for the service. Go Istanbul!

A very good restaurant in many ways. Excellent service, good and plentiful food reasonably priced. Although I have been several times never got bored with the choices. Şiş kebab is the favourite for many but I suggest you try it with yoğurt and tomato sauce.

This is a very nice restaurant. We had the chefs special for two which was delicious. There was plenty of meat, two types of rice and a bowl of salad. The only downside is that it's a bit cold, and is not helped by people going in and out of the back door. Cocktails are lovely and my boyfriend enjoyed his Effes.

Have been wanting to try the food here for a while now as this place is always busy. The food and service did NOT disappoint. We ordered a few Chef Specials which for £29 is well worth it. The platter is very generous that we still had left overs to take home. The staff are friendly and very efficient. Each table has a device that allows you to call for "service" or the bill which made it easy when we had decided on our order. The restaurant itself was clean and tidy. I can definitely recommend this to anyone considering to sit down with family or friends. You won't regret it. Thanks for a fantastic first impression, we'll definitely be back.

I went with a friend after the 1st lock down (having visited several times prior). We were very happy that we were able to chose our seats, social distancing of other customers were being maintained. Food was hot and fresh as usual and the waiters were as friendly and attentive as before despite having several orders being prepared for delivery we did not feel forgotten and our requests for extra drinks were fulfilled almost immediately. I made the mistake of ordering via Uber eats which I will not do again as the driver went AWOL and was over 30 minutes late. Will either use just eat or call the restaurant directly next time. We would definitely visit again. Our food was very fresh and tasty, the atmosphere was good although was quite cold at the beginning, then the hot Turkish tea made us feel warm. I'm not sure if there is any heating, maybe I'm wrong but was quite cold. Overall it's worth it to go to try traditional Turkish food! 🥗

Always will be at least one place available , the restaurant is very quiet even when full and without disturbing sound not allowing to eat peacefully. Absolutely delicious Turkish food, well made with good ingredients and great service, very good take away and friendly clean environment, nice for sit in and to sit outside in summer when the weather is warm and sunny. I thought I would try this restaurant, for the first time, as I was dining alone. Nice layout and lovely buzzy atmosphere, as it was quite busy. Service was efficient and I had a drink in my hand, with a couple of minutes.....Not that I used it, there is a call button on the table to get servers attention. Been to this restaurant a few times. Once we came down for lunch and their lunch deal is amazing! £7.95 for lunch special!! I have enjoyed every single thing I had. Also, visited Istanbul during dinner service, staff is very friendly and helpful. As I have certain diatary requirements, waiter helped me out with my choices. Amazing choice of traditional Turkish dishes and one of the best kebabs I had so far! Highly recommended for friends or family gatherings! Could never be disappointed with this place! Truly amazing! I would love to hear some old Turkish music, something more relaxing. The staff are slightly emotionless but that's probably because they're working a lot, I see the same staff every time I pass by.. I hope they get some time off. This place has a lot of potential. So glad it's a 5min walk from my house

It's ok even though staff's manners are not satisfactory. It takes quite long until waiters come when you call them, it wasn't busy at all however, staff prefer to chat with each others rather than serving you well. That's why when you call them they show it on their face that they didn't like as you disturbed them while staff was talking to each other! What a fantastic gem of North Finchley! For £24.50 you get 3 courses and enough leftover main course to have a tasty lunchbox the next day at work. Food was ready 20 mins after ordering and needless to say incredibly good quality, beautifully marinated Turkish cuisine. This will certainly be our favourite go to restaurant!
