Reviews of J Sheekey
M. P.
This is a classic restaurant in London.
If you are around and love seafood, and food in general, you cannot miss it!! They also have really good wines and champagnes.
The service is superb, we got served by a guy from Ecuador who spoke perfect English, Spanish, French and Italian. He was absolutely brilliant. The guy at the door is also very nice.
I highly recommend it!!!
T.
Disclaimer : I hate fish and seafood but having spent years booking this restaurant weekly for people I worked with over a decade ago I felt the need to try it pre theatre last Friday.
There are plenty of options for non fish and seafood Eaters. We were pushed for time so I didn’t get to sample more than a main but my goodness, the squash risotto was INSANE. So tasty and moreish.
A wonderfully relaxed atmosphere in the heart of theatre land. I’ll definitely be back to try some other dishes.

Came for a Monday lunch, and had a blast!
Yep his is not a cheap institution, but the quality and the execution speak for themselves.
The place takes you back in time, with its old steakhouse / airport lounge vibe.
The oysters were really fresh and yummy, and both fish portions were delicious.
The apple pie was also great and service is smooth.
Will definitely come back again!

My husband gave me a surprise 65years - birthday lunch yesterday at this restaurant. The ambient design. Decoration were amazing. Customer service was top-notch. Seafood were super fresh. My husband ordered Monkfish curry. It was superb tasty. The Triple cheese soufflés are to die for. ❤ Highly recommended ⭐️ ⭐⭐⭐⭐💯% would be back again.

I love J Sheekey so much!!! The level of hospitality they maintain in such difficult times is incredible. I particularly appreciate how they make every guest feel special rather than saving kindness for VIPs as so many other places do. Perfect spot for any special occasion.
M. D.
Great seafood platter at a good price! But I wasn't that impressed with the service. Speed and accuracy were all good and exactly as they should be for a restaurant of this calibre, but, having spent 20 years in Singapore and (especially) Bali, where one is greeted with a more genuine smile, I find here in the UK (and clearly this is not just a reflection of Sheekey's) the depth of feeling is missing. More often than not when I go to say thank you and look up at the server, half way through the server's reply they are already looking away...it's like they know what they should say and that's it...but don't let that put you off coming here! The food is excellent and I'm just being fussy!
M. M.
Amazing staying power! Always there for me since ‘06! Nice ambient, great food, polite staff. An old school feel to it is also appreciated. A regular here!! AAA
J. G.
One of the best seafood restaurants in London.
I had an amazing time, the staff were very friendly and attentive and the food was phomenonal 😋🦞
B. D.
The host was very helpful and found us a table even though we didn't have a reservation. Very good and polite customer service. The wine list was slightly expensive. The food arrived within reasonable time and it was delicious. Would definitely go again.
J. L.
The service is efficient and charming, the food is superb. You simply cannot order anything disappointing here. One of London's gems.
J. P.
Always fantastic, friendly staff, glorious surroundings- casual fine dining- smart, sophisticated and so sexy (do I mean Joel?😉). Fabulous, food - tantalising and tasty …my regular haunt now the Ivy of old is no more …

What a venue!!!
I've never had seafood like this outside of coastal towns. The flavour combinations were rich but balanced, the service was amazing but most of all, when we asked for a recommendation, they said all of it. and boy did they deliver.
If you love seafood. Go to J sheekey.
A. N.
Excellent place. Loved my oysters (A) and my main, grilled sea bass. The sea bass was brilliant (A+).
My partner had the seafood burger which is something I will have next time. And our friend had the mussels.
I ordered the Hammer of God cocktail, just for the name, and it was quite decent.
I will return.

Rather upmarket fish restaurant near Leicester Square. The food is excellent. I had the tempura prawns to start. The portion was generous and the prawns were succulent, beautifully matched by the dip. For the main course I had the fish pie: again generous and well filled with fish. My companion had the octopus to start and the fish stew for main and was equally impressed. For dessert, we each had a self-indulgent raspberry Knickerbocker Glory. The service is very attentive without being obtrusive. My only complaint is the huge markup they put on wine. The list is good, but £50 for a bottle of pleasant but fairly ordinary burgundy is to my mind excessive, and that is one of the cheapest bottles. That apart, very highly recommended.
T. A.
Food was absoutely incredible, the Dover Sole and Tuna Ceviche especially. Superb service too.
P. B.
A decent lunch here. Bit of a funny location with out the pre covid buzz but I'm sure it will return soon enough.
Overall quite punchy price wise but the food was good. I had a shrimp to start which had a decent spice kick. The fish stew was substantial plenty of good broth in it. The bisque is worth checking out as well. Not small that's for sure.
£148 for 2 starters, 2 main, 1 champagne, 1 x 375ml of wine plus service
C.
It used to be a lot better. I've been here a few times in past, but the quality standard of dishes had gone down. Except fresh oysters or fruit de mares, you can barely enjoy the fresh and natural flavour of seafoods. They cooked dishes in Asian fusion style but put too much sauce/ spices, clearly destroying umami and natural flavour of ingredients! I enjoyed fresh oysters and cornish slip sole, but still I felt they were overpriced in general. The service was still excellent though.
M. H.
High quality food with good service. A nice place to eat when in central London.
L.
My wife and I have spent the last 3 New Year’s Eve at Jsheeky and they never disappoint.
The food is amazing, the wine is incredibly complimenting and the staff are on point.
Should you be visiting the capital it would be for a shame for you to go back home without dining here.
Incredibly grateful to have this restaurant on our doorstep.
A. G.
Fantastic food and service.
I cannot fault J.Sheekey.
Brian delivered a seamless service from advising us on the wine that would suit our meal to the recommendation for our food. I would recommend everything we ate which was the prawn tempura and mussels to start - the chilli sauce for the prawns with the lime Thai flavours of the mussels worked very well together. My husband had the sea bass for main and I had the monkfish and prawn tikka massala, both absolutely delicious. We then stayed for dessert served with accompanied dessert wines which were equally delicious.
A thoroughly enjoyable and favourable meal, with fantastic service.
M. M.
Went for for a friends birthday dinner again. Lovely asian lady called Chloe looked after us and made it very special, she was just friendly, professional and very sweet and kind. The food was as expected which is top notch. The oysters wonderful, steak was good and dessert was delightful. A special place for sure to get to eat at.
C. G.
What I say one of the best restaurant experiences I have had & I've been lucky enough to experience many in London & beyond. Took my partner there for her birthday & the from the start to the Finnish were made feel comfortable & at ease. Quite a small menu & a little pricey especially the wines but the food speaks for itself out of this world! King prawn sticky starter one of the best I have ever had well worth the cost & an ideal place for those special occasions will definitely be back.
J. S.
I took my girlfriend here for her birthday and she was so impressed with the restaurant and the service we got. The food was incredible. As seafood fans it’s The best seafood restaurant we have ever been to. Definitely could say it’s a London classic!
M. L.
Amazing food and the most wonderful staff !
We had an absolutely fantastic afternoon there.
We can't wait to return asap
S. K.
Food is very good, but not as good as the bill would suggest. However, the place stands out for its superb service. Liam served us and he was extremely well informed, polite and always there when needed. Rest of the people working there were equally great
L. C.
Good place, good food and good service.
My girlfriend and I were follow by the waiters really well.
T.
The BEST seafood restaurant in London. I went a few months back and can't believe I didn't write a review. The service wasn't the best, they took shockingly long to bring the water to the table but apart from that everything was perfect. The food was way beyond my already extremely high expectations. Even though it's fine dining you will be fine to come as you are, without feeling out of place. Plus, the food is so good, you forget about all that other stuff. I think, it's the ideal place for almost any reason to dine out: romance, special occasion, business meeting, pre-theatre as it's in the westend or even just a dinner in central London. It's pricey but well worth it. I can't wait until they open again. I've already booked for my birthday!
D. W.
Food and hospitality, faultless. A wonderful place we just ran into to get out of the rain.
M.
Three of us shared a Sheekey sea food platter and enjoyed every last piece. This was washed down with a lovely bottle of Muscadet. The staff were friendly and efficient. Never been here before but we will go back for more.
H. W.
Service was a little slow. The seafood was excellent as was the caviar. The chicken was a little dry.
P. M.
Great seafood, good service.
N. S.
Very good food. All we had the burger and fish pie. The tempura oysters are amazing.
The staff is ver attentive and well trained so you will be very well taken care off.
Will be back soon

Located by Covent Garden. There is a theatre inside, it's quite classy. They serve seafood. We ordered oysters which were nice. The main meal (curry prawns with pilau rice) was lovely food although small potions.I would recommend it but the price isn't cheap for the meal portions.
S. Y.
Our second visit and just as good as the first.
The building is old styled with a real compact feel yet enduring presence.
There are lots of staff and they are very well managed and trained. The service is sharp, professional yet friendly.
Everything is timed and delivered perfectly.
The food was superb and excellently cooked and presented. All good fish and seafood is expensive these days, but the quality and service justifies.
Booking essential
j. r.
Fantastic seafood joint in a central location. Reasonable prices with top tier service and tasty food. The portions were generous and satisfying.
K. P.
Seafood tasted completely bland. Service was awful. Very disappointing experience.
E. C.
Amazing seafood just like every time I go. This time we got the fried oysters and the flavours were so amazing and to die for I could eat a dozen of them. The seafood platter was fresh and delicious as with the lobster Soufflé and the rib eye was cooked to perfection. So not just a fancy seafood restaurant. Highly recommend and go regularly on special occasions and it’s not once disappoint.

Salmon teriyaki £25, Fillet of Cod £27, veggie tempura, great experience
A. M.
Fantastic restaurant. Waiters were superb. Amazing fish dishes.
C. J. T.
After 7 years of badgering my partner to bring me here, he finally did yesterday for my birthday and it was everything I dreamed of. The staff couldn't do more to serve and look after us. THIS is where you really see the difference of dining at a high end restaurant. Food was stunning and we had good recommendations from our lovely waitress. I had dressed Devonshire crab to start, J Sheekey's fish pie for my main (which is the recipe I use when I cook it at home!). My dessert took a little while but only because it was being made from scratch: chocolate and blood orange profiteroles which were HEAVEN. My partner wasn't happy that I didn't share with him, ha ha. So. I've decided that K Sheekey is the best place to celebrate a birthday. I will definitely be back. Just working out when that will be!
S. H.
I love this place, understated excellence. Great food, wonderful service and a relaxed atmosphere. Every visit is like meeting an old friend.
C. M.
Not the cheapest, but food was absolutely delicious and service was attentive without being overbearing, and friendly, not pretentious
S. B.
Great seafood restaurant. Nice bustling atmosphere with a number of open rooms spread across one level.
Lovely food. A nice variety of wines, although there could be a slightly wider range of wines in the lower price range.
H. B.
Excellent party vibe and always fun for a long lunch but the food is nothing special. Neither is the wine but you wouldn’t know it from the prices charged. The menu is very similar to The Ivy but not as good and more expensive. Service is very good.
I. L.
The cod was delicious. Very interesting cheesecake
A. P.
A great Christmas treat. My first time in 20 years.
The food is delicious and the service was impeccable.
You must have the plateau de fruit de mer.
Desserts are delightful.
We'll be back
L. L.
An absolute homerun! I did have a 93% match here on Maps, and since we didn't have reservation we got seated at the bar. Lucky us! The staff was amazing!!
The food was divine and the off-menu cocktails where just fantastic. Just look at these pictures and judge for yourself
E. N.
My wife treated me to a birthday meal here and I was very glad she did! I've been lucky enough to go to a few great seafood restaurants around the world and this is up there with some of the best. My only quibbles were that the menu is slightly confusing - there are sections for starters, mains and sides but also a collection of shellfish dishes that for some reason are separate. Also the price is quite steep, especially for shellfish. I thought the price for the mains was reasonable though. We tried the scallops and seared tiger prawns as starters, both were delicious. The pan fried sea bass was cooked just perfectly. It tasted exactly how I was hoping it would in my mind! The monkfish and tiger prawn tikka masala was the standout dish of the lot though. The sauce was pleasantly spiced (we like things hot so the fact it had any chili heat at all was nice for us), the flavours were wonderful with the fish and prawns really going well with the sauce. We were too stuffed for pudding, we definitely didn't need a starter and a main each but I'm sure others could. If you can afford it, do give this place a go!
C. S.
Managed to get here 3 times this year, and each time has been different, and equally amazing!
S. C.
My husband says they served the best ever fish and chips he has had. Two other couples at our table split the dover sole and said it was fantastic. I am not a huge fan of fish, so I had their appetizers of risotto and burrata for my main and was extremely satisfied. Their welsh rarebit is also fantastic.
The interior is fantastic. I particularly like that there are lots of small nooks and niches for tables so the sound never gets overwhelming. The staff, while very busy, is also quite accommodating. Would definitely recommend this place to seafood fans!
C. H.
Classic English seafood. Superbly fresh and cooked to the point. Very competent service, nice wine list. Great seating outside, when the weather permits. Always worth a visit.
y. k.
Superb. Increadible flavors and spice combinations. Razor clams with chorizo, parmesan crusted courgettes and even the simplest thing - butter with the bread was to die for. The sea food platter was enormous and everything increadibly fresh. However the best thing for me was their incredibly ballaced and perfectly creative peanutbutter old fashioned. Wow!
A. C.
Excellent as ever. Timeless fish restaurant with old school feel, but none the worse for that. Great meal, service and atmosphere, what's not to like.
S. D.
I hadn't been for a few years. They do some of the best fish in London. I had the 'slip soles' which i have not seen anywhere else. Amazing and good service and a very conducive atmosphere.
M. S.
Best seafood and fish restaurant! Good food and attentive staff. One of the old restaurant that still keeps its standard.
To keep the place intimidate, no photographs or use of mobile phone is allow. Don't be naughty like me as there was no customer near us, I took a sneeky picture to promote this place as my hobby.
Highly Recommend
L.
Fantastic food & cocktails.
Service: 50/50 - some are great and some are plane rude.
I had to get up twice to get their attention, once to return a dish we hadn’t ordered, they offered to not change us for it but we had plenty already and politely declined (the lady came off very rude as if we were ungrateful) & another time to order our deserts.
In between courses I asked if they could check on our food and the young waitress replied in a patronising manner “its coming!”.
The end of the meal went splendidly and smoothly with another set of staff.
Will come back fir the food and the atmosphere but will make sure to inform the manager which staff made us feel unwelcome.
We love this place and it would be a shame to no come anymore for something like that!
S. K.
We booked a few months ago to have our company Christmas meal. The food was delicious as were the cocktails and wine. Excellent service from the staff
A. M.
Atmosphere was authentic and old. Mussels fell off the shell. The sauce for the oysters were amazing . Main acceptable and all the fish were good. Great selection of wine. Noise level acceptable for conversation..good to hang out with friends.
R. R.
Lovely restaurant. Not cheap, but good fish dishes. Great location in the West End.
L. G.
Fantastic service and a seafood lovers dream. Pricey but not really that bad for London. Decent wine list. Seafood towers for a starter can be shared by 4
J.
Food was nice. Staff should be trained up on menu items and allergens though - not reassuring when your waiting staff aren’t sure on which dishes contain what. And it turns out that I was in fact “glutened” - I was unwell for hours after this meal. Wouldn’t recommend for coeliacs. 3 stars for everything else, albeit pricey!
k. l.
If you are craving seafood then this is the place to be! The double baked cod soufflé was the one standing out from the rest ! The fish bowl dessert is one of its kind. If I am back here next time, I am just going to have the seafood platter for 2 🐟
A. E.
On a working visit so didn’t have a meal. But the staff were super friendly and professional, the ambience great, the food smelled and looked delicious …
M. T.
My favourite seafood restaurant. A bonus that it opens late. Seafood platters are big enough for two people. Seabass was the best I've had in a while. Desserts are a must. Highly recommended. Worth the price
J. M.
Lovely staff, great food.
K. R.
Cannot rate this place highly enough, everyone from the front of house to all the wait staff were so attentive and lovely. The food exceeded expectations and the setting and atmosphere were fantastic. Perfect for a pre-show meal!
I. S.
Our favourite restaurant in London. Service und food from the beginning on is just perfect. We have rarely experienced such good seafood and such professional staff. 100% - as good as it gets.
A. C. C.
Lovely place to grab a meal before going to the theatre. Food and service were very good. Loved how their Christmas decorations included sea creatures like lobsters and crabs.
M. L.
I was recommended this restaurant by a friend but my experience was not that great. Food was at best a 6 out of 10
g. s.
Delicious as always. Seafood perfection . Shame to see it only half full the weekend before Xmas. If you want a special meal, it's the perfect place.
D. P.
Excellent - can't wait to go again. Staff very courteous, food superb and presentation too.
A. S.
Fast and attentive service. Very polite staff. Great environment for a casual date or small group. Food is amazing. Tempura oyster recommended.
A. P.
Positives
- Great ambience with an old-fashioned feel (been around since 1896)
- Fantastic and efficient service
- Varied seafood menu including market fish, specials, shellfish, crab, caviar
- Lots of outside covered seating
- Vegan and vegetarian menu available
- Phenomenal non alcoholic drinks - try the Spicy Breeze!
- The fish pie is rich and comforting
Negatives
- Small portion sizes
- Tight space between tables unless you get a booth
- Unimaginative starters
- Busy, busy with pre-theatre crowds between five and eight in the afternoon
Y. H.
One of the best seafood restaurants in London. Amazing food, great value and friendly service by our host Giampiero. The only minor criticism is the hectic cloakroom/entrance: be prepared to wait up to 10-15 mins to get your jacket during peak times.
T. R.
Seafood institution in the heart of the west end, perfect to get your fish fix. It doesn't come cheap but it is very good quality (those oysters 😍) and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable (shout out to the guy who talked me through eating a crab!)
Nice selection of white wines, including a fresh and zesty vinho verde, but the prices go skyward very quickly.
The only disappointment was the scallops, their delicate flavour was completely overpowered by the accompanying sauce which was mainly chorizo.
Be careful which place you book: the Atlantic bar has a very different menu to the restaurant. I booked the wrong one but they were kind enough to let us order lobster from the restaurant anyway.
A. G.
All I can say say I recommend and this restaurant great experience staff fantastic food fantastic and they can't do enough for you please try I would like to hear your comments fantastic place
I. S.
Excellent vegan & vegetarian menu, although quite pricey! Watch out for the additional cover & service charge to be added to your bill.
P. L.
Visited with a friend. service was excellent..friendly ,knowledgeable and very efficient. Food utterly delicious.
C. B.
Nice enough place but the decor was a bit shabby and staff weren't overly considerate (for example trying to squeeze down a narrow corridor at the same time as you rather than waiting etc). But the food was very nice.
C. E.
The food here is incredible, the portions are plentiful, service is attentive and friendly. Would definitely go back.
G. H.
Good lunch here, ceviche delicious and they serve a very decent sancerre by the glass. Turbot perhaps a bit overcooked for our liking. Service was excellent.
J.
Fantastic service, lovely seafood, good wine would definitely return.
S. W.
Oh my gosh, the food!! The place looks unassuming from the outside, but going in there's an open plan kitchen where you can see your food being made!
I. G.
Excellent food, outstanding service. Quite expensive but definitely worth it.
J. N.
My overall score for this place is: 88/100
23/25 for Food
13/15 for Ambience
22/25 for Service
30/35 for Quality/Value for Money
J. B.
Staffand food out of this world sovereign good

Great food but table charge for bread and £5 for water??
I. S.
Excellent vegan & vegetarian menu, although quite pricey! Watch out for the additional cover & service charge to be added to your bill.
S. B.
Great food, good atmosphere.

Cosy place

Haven't been there but here's a footage of what J Sheekey used to be in the top left corner (if I'm not mistaken)!
From 1961's Victim by Basil Dearden.

Located just moments away from Leicester Square tube station, this excellently located restaurant is both convenient and charming. With beautiful décor and an easy to recognise front, this high-end eatery provides a lovely view with an even better meal.
Offering numerous fish dishes, some of the ones I tried include a salmon and avocado tartare, dressed Devonshire crab, a creamy fish pie and shrimp and soft shell crab burger and the denominator from all of these dishes? They all had beautifully prepared seafood that left me with a smile on my face.
I will admit, some of the items on the menu felt quite expensive. However, this is a mixture of both my frugality, as well as my lack of recent experience in high-end establishments. For the food, drink and atmosphere, the price was more than justified.
The staff were friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was relaxed and our party was pleased with the experience. Would definitely recommend to all seeking a high-class eating experience.
a. h.
Superb food but the notion of charging a cover charge is soooo dated. Get real. Lost 5 stars. Esp given the mandatory service charge
S. W.
Oh my gosh, the food!! The place looks unassuming from the outside, but going in there's an open plan kitchen where you can see your food being made!

Today was my birthday and I chose this restaurant and it was a great choice The food was very nice and the staff was also great and the service was more than great I would highly recommend this restaurant, they were so nice they even gave me a dessert for my birthday.
And one who served us was Alexander he was so helpful and we had a great time they made my day special thank you 🙏
S. D. B. R.
Good fish and service. The best, the dessert: the best apple dessert I can remember
L. M.
Always a great experience! Seafood is excellent and the service is really good :) Highly reccomended when in London!
E. S.
The fresh oysters and large portion of steamed mussels have made this my go-to seafood spot in Covent Garden. With attentive staff and outdoor seating onto an alley that doesn’t get too crowded during the day, it’s a great spot for a pre-theatre meal or snack.
D. D.
Just sublime. Really charming staff and excellent food ! Love coming here !
C. M.
Lovely meal excellent seafood, attentive unobtrusive staff 😋 would certainly go there again.
Z. Z.
Fantastic selection of seafood dishes. Polite and welcoming staff
H. S.
It was very delicious and well served. The service is also over the average level. Highly recommend for sea food fans.
M. W.
We love the Fruit de Mer and have it whenever we're in London. Top class food and service
S. E.
Busy seafood restaurant. Friendly staff, fast service. An enjoyable evening but not romantic as it’s so speedy...
I. G.
Excellent food, outstanding service. Quite expensive but definitely worth it.
P. S.
A very nice evening in London ! Very fresh and pleasant sea food with a A-class service.
M. K.
Love this place, best seafood fish restaurant in London.
So So consistent, professional, polite, welcoming service.
Highly recommend.
J.
Nice restorant, good food, service, fresh oysters and good selections of drinks. Totally recommended.
S. G.
Good food but got stunned when a staff member revealed the crazy hours they doing
C. K.
Still a very lovely restaurant. Superbly cooked and very high quality ingredients and excellent service (sat at the bar - particularly good were the scallops and the Thai mussels).
I. J.
Not just the best seafood restaurant I've ever been to, but best restaurant full stop. The food was an absolute luxury. We ordered the seafood platter, and you could taste the freshness in every bite of the seafood. I had the haddock for main which was equally amazing, and that made-in-house tartare sauce was actually out of this world, that's how good it was. The only negative I can point out was that my partner's vegetarian dish- the linguine was a little too oily. But my goodness what an amazing restaurant. I hope to be back for our next special occasion. I also hope to get dessert next time too! The service was immaculate also.
J.
Fantastic service, lovely seafood, good wine would definitely return.
B. J.
Top Class the staff and service at J Sheekey are above the rest. The food is incredible along with the presentation and quality.
N. I.
Fantastic seafood restaurant! Amazing experience. Right in the heart of St Martins. The desserts were decent as well.
J.
Exceptional fish restaurant in a traditional, formal dining room. Wonderful menu. Highly recommend. I had salmon tartare to start, then halibut. Would repeat.
R. P.
Delicious meal overall, you’re paying a premium for the location and brand, but great none the less.
H. M.
Good atmosphere good food if little pricey. We sat out on terrace which is closed off from street with glass so good but tables are a bit tight.
J. F. -. B.
First dined here in 1988 when service was among the best going whether you were celebrity or Joe Blogs off the high street your custom was valued and nothing was to much for the staff to get you.
Come the late 1990s standards were been chipped at as the more elderly staff were replaced by a younger generation and things were not what they were
Twenty years on it was like 1988 allover I had come home
D. S.
A bit pricey but the food and service were excellent.
P. W.
Delicious dishes for the seafood lover.
Another hidden gem in the heart of London.
A varied menu including the house special 'fish pie'. Excellent wine menu to cater to all tastes and budget. Social distancing and temperature checks at the door. Friendly and attentive service.
j. l.
Excellent food backed up by great service. Our table for 2 was rather small and the hard wooden seats not the most comfortable !!
S. S.
Well worth the visit great food

One of our favourite restaurants for special occasions, this time my wife's birthday. Food and service up to its usual very high standards which made for a great evening. If in doubt, always go for their fish pie! My one mini gripe is that I've always thought that their wine list is just a little bit more expensive than it needs to be but I guess you get what you pay for. Top restaurant, felt very Covid safe, recommended.

This restaurant's perfect - incredible food and service, great atmosphere and cosy nooks and crannies for a private dining experience. The swordfish, fish pie, creamed greens are some of my favourites. Great wine selection too. Looking forward to you reopening!

Where do I start? What differentiates J Sheeky is the customer service is beautiful. The food is fantastic, the seating and srounding are great.
L. J.
Fresh & amazing seafood, excellent service!
D. M.
Very nice fish restaurant. The food was very tasty and the sea bass was the best I have ever had in my life.
T. T.
Food was good, however they should be more careful about oysters having sand grains or broken shell pieces in them . Cocktails were a bit disappointing, we expected better in this department.
I. B.
Very good variety of dishes, food was excellent, waiting staff attentive but not overbearing. Would recommend
D. h.
Great food but table charge for bread and £5 for water??
A. W.
Top fish restaurant in town. Wonderful service. Fresh fish
T. H.
Best fish and chips I've ever had (and the peanut old fashioned was amazing too).
D. J.
Fantastic food and service, the Jalapeño Prawn starter is unbelievable. Expensive, but worth it
L. D.
Good food and service. Quite expensive but fine for a once a year reunion.

I often take my friends to this place with my highest recommendations. I go their often. This recommendation is always successful. The the food there is delicious and the team is generous and cooperative. Whenever we go to this place we pass a cheerful evening. highly recommended.

Mixed review. Food delicious, had the scallops and the monkfish and prawn curry which was very well cooked. The garden vegetables were delicious and I'd love to know what they were cooked in, and the parmsan courgettes were also very nice.
Though at £28 for the curry - I'm not sure it was the best value for money. Could have overlooked this if service was exceptional, however unfortunately we found the service to be very poor. They had our wine in a bucket and must have forgotten about it as we went through the whole meal with empty glasses, and when we asked for our bill and asked if they could bring our wine over there was half a bottle left (we'd been there for an hour and a half). Server also seemed dismayed when we pointed out we'd been charged for something we didn't have, and took the receipt back and marched off without a word.
Overall, for somewhere I'd heard so much about, disappointing.
D. C.
Lovely, friendly staff and very tasty food. Would recommend and come again
K. W.
It's a traditional establishment, where several well-known faces have dined as can be seen by the array of photos on the wall and that is the main selling point. The service was good, attentive and helpful but the food was mediocre. We had squid, a little tough and soufflé, okay to start followed by the fish pie, too creamy and the fish curry, also okay. We didn't manage a dessert so can't say but great service and a lacklustre meal 🤷🏾♀️
M. A.
Not my first and not my last time. Always delicious food and great service.
B. T.
For the price I’d have expected at least above average service. Instead I got very little service at all. The food was average, the service was poor, the pricing was outrageous considering the aforementioned. All staff seem well meaning and nice, but the management and organisation was not great. There seemed to be mounds of staff, but very little going on. Anyway, they were nice…but poorly organised
J. M.
One of the best places for seafood. Always love visiting J Sheekey...
P. Y.
Incredibly good quality food. Very friendly staff. Such flavoursome dishes as well. Best part is that it's good value and me and the other person that went were really well fed for 60 each. Really highly recommend!
V. G.
First class fish restaurant .service very poor when you are paying £39.38 service charge and and £8.00 cover charge for a 5* Service . long wait
C. D.
Simply fantastic from this beautiful fish restaurant that oozes class.
B.
Always wonderfully fresh and great quality Fish - standards never drop. Never stops buzzing. Love sitting at the bar to eat, to see all that is going on!!
M. E.
Excellent service, lovely atmosphere, superb location and an extremely reliable brand for anyone who loves London and loves fish. Good food but not artistic or extraordinary. A nice touch is the vegan menu during January. Wine list more expensive than it should be. Overall a very enjoyable evening but a bit pricey for what it offered.
T. B.
Not only was the food excellent, the staff were friendly and inviting, lovely evening.
F. P.
One of my favourite restaurants in London. The fish stew is fantastic! As are the oysters. Lovely ambiance, especially outside. Absolutely love!
A. G.
Family favourite - we love this restaurant. It is consistently good with a really nice atmosphere. Great fish of the day and dover sole always delicious. A little expensive, but will definitely be back. My only issue on the last visit was that the mussels were curried, which was not how they were listed as being cooked on the menu, but apart from that a lovely meal. The best oysters!
C. P.
Superb fish restaurant, very good service, good atmosphere.
G. G.
Their oysters were definitely THE-BEST!
The interiors were amazing. Friendly people.
J. G.
Our favourite London restaurant fantastic all round service and food
S. M.
All the food was delicious. Make sure you save room for dessert.
D. S.
Superb old school English classy restaurant with superb food (mostly seafood and fish prepared with that delicate touch of experience) and attentive service. A special treat. It was my dream to go there... why did I take so long?. I'm sure to go back as soon as I can.
T. T.
From the charming Nick who greeted me at the door and gave me a tour of the restaurant, to Alex who served me so well, and, of course the food, a superb experience and I felt utterly spoilt! Thank you x
T. N.
High quality seafood, was very impressed. Ate the platter which had tuna cerviche, prawns, clams, mussels, whelks and oysters. All delicious. Partner has the fish pie which was very tasty. Would recommend both dishes.
We sat in Atlantic bar and was very chilled. Food was served at a reasonable time although not sure why they didn't offer to take our costs yet for everyone else they did
S. B.
Great food, good atmosphere.
N. Y.
I cannot compliment J Sheekeys enough, my favourite place to eat, the staff are always brilliant and attentive. The food is beyond amazing, plus the atmosphere is spot on. Tonight I had the cheese souffle which was so light, with a hint on cheese and truffles, my husband had the oysters, for the main I had the monkfish and tiger prawn curry, hubbie had sea bass, both of which were delightful. Looking forward to my next visit
R. F.
One of my favourite central London restaurants. Despite its popularity the layout of smaller rooms feels cosy, although can be hard to converse due to volume of voices from other diners. Food is classic and great quality. Service friendly and good. Outside terrace lovely in summer. Not cheap but well worthwhile.
L. K.
Booked this restaurant for a pre Theatre meal. It was fantastic. Fish pie light and delicious, wonderful cocktails and a chocolate mousse pavlova that was so light it nearly floated off the plate. Best I have ever tasted. Service was warm and friendly and very attentive. They had a wonderful round bar in the centre of the restaurant (or you could eat outside) which we ate at the bat which was a new experience. You will not be disappointed...just loved it
L. g.
Beautiful meal.... wonderful service .highly recommend this restaurant
W. P.
Lovely old established restaurant where staff really put themselves out to please you. Well reccomended... try the christmas soufle pudding.. exceptionally good.
R. K.
Fantastic food, great service.
R. A.
Went to J Sheekey with my partner for our anniversary.
The customer service is excellent and the prices are reasonable considering.
The only let down was the food. Although, the prawns were amazing the Devon Crab was served cold. I did not mind this, however my partner wasn't pleased.
Nevertheless the desserts were exquisite and the wine menu was solid.
P. J.
Outstanding! The food we had was sublime - no exceptions. Of particular note was the tuna ceviche. Surprisingly slightly spicy it was absolutely delicious. The monkfish curry was sublime. And how can I forget the charred octopus and cod and octopus - equally beautifully cooked, presented and as tasty as could be. Bravo chefs! And bravo the incredible staff. Brilliantly professionally attentive and so well trained - a real credit to the management. Expensive but nevertheless unhesitatingly recommended.
K. P.
The service was as dry as the seafood.
I had the full Plateau de fruits de mer. Although we might have been unlucky with the first person serving us, as the rest of the service staff was very attentioned.
Seafood was dry and lacking of savour.
M. F.
A wonderful long-standing institution J Sheekey delivers a classic fish menu with just the right balance of friendliness and professionalism. The whole experience is like being welcomed by old friends to a dinner party. The restaurant consists of a number of separate spaces, some small and intimate, others larger, and all connected by a passage where staff greet and guide you to where you need to be with genuine friendliness. The fish is fantastic. Not cheap, but perfectly done and with hearty and generous portions. There are no smears or blobs here. Just expert cooking founded on decades of experience. Lovely staff know just how to strike the right balance between friendliness and professionalism. I would go back in a heartbeat.
J. I.
Excellent as always!
My wife and I went to the Atlantic Bar pre-theatre, which they checked on conformation and served us accordingly. Service is very friendly, polite and engaging, though they were very busy so didn’t stand around making lots of small talk.
We focused on seafood small plates, and all were delicious. Some real comfort food, fitting for a restaurant that has been going for more than 100 years, like the wonderful cheddar soufflé. Other dishes were still excellent but much more modern. Food service was quick and attentive.
Good cocktails, good selection of wines by the glass, though the drinks service was a little slow.
Ask to sit at the counter if you’re there as a couple, it’s a really great setting, particularly round the far side of the bar where you can watch the kitchen at work.
S. K.
Food was good. The level of service was high, very attentive and friendly staff. It was our wedding anniversary celebration and it was a very nice touch to receive a plate of truffles with 'Happy Anniversary' written in chocolate on the plate. Thanks for making our celebration memorable.
M. P.
Exceptional food and service. Had my first U.K. oysters here and they were quite good. Also had the salmon which was exceptional. I walked in and sat at the bar, but I don't think I could have had better service at a table. The bartender was very knowledgeable, quick, attentive, and beyond professional. She made the experience go from a solid nine to a ten. It is pricey, but it's entirely reasonable for the quality of the food and service.
I. P.
Great seafood. Bit pricey, but a classy restaurant suitable for a special occasion.
R. T.
The food is delicious and the service is the very best
R. R.
Very nice fish restaurant in London's theatre area. We ate inside at the bar. The fish dishes were delicious. The service was excellent. I noticed someone eating the fish pie and wished I had chosen that. I did have padron peppers, fried sea bass and chips, while my wife had a mug of prawns and stole my chips and peppers. All the food was excellent. I would happily go there again.
E. J. B.
J Sheekey has been my favourite restaurant in London for many years and having seen the way they have strived to make things as perfect as ever since opening after the lockdown, it has only cemented their brilliance in my opinion. The ever brilliant, ever charming and ever consciousness team there, Ludo, Joel, Cedric, Luigi, Tim, Daisy, have gone above and beyond to make us all feel safe and welcome. I myself have noticed absolutely no glitches but I would ask fellow diners that in this time have patience and kindness. We are all doing our best in a very changed and somewhat frightening world but the J Sheekey team have and wont fail to disappoint. Bravo to you all and thank goodness the food is as good as ever.
L. J.
Out of this world. Top food and fantastic service. Be prepared to pay.
R. A. S. R. L.
Super seafood here, very friendly staff and great atmosphere. The grilled octopus starter was absolutely superb, some very nice wines by the glass too. Not cheap but as expected for this standard of restaurant in London. Highly recommended.
A.
Outstanding food and drink. The oysters were superb, as were our other food choices and a wonderful wine. Sitting outside, as the theatergoers hustled to beat the curtain and the daylight waned, was a very romantic atmosphere. The only drawback was the slow service, including waiting 40 minutes for the check (and having to request it twice), as our server was spread desperately thin over far too many tables. Would have been 5 stars otherwise
A. C.
My favourite seafood restaurant in London that’s been in business for over 100years!! I’ve been going to this place for over 20plus years and the quality and service has always been excellent. Super fresh fish and oysters. And quite possibly the best fish and chips in town outside of Whitby!! A must go to place if you are passing thru Covent Garden area or Leicester Square. Quite a good place for a bit of star spotting too!
J. S.
Really good food, service definitely be back
J. M.
It's been years since we had last been and if anything, our experience was even better than I remember from before.
I'll start with the only negative I have, it's a bit compact in places - our table seemed a bit tucked away and there was little space between the adjoining 3 tables around us.
Despite this, the staff moved expertly and quickly around us and the others to provide the very best of service.
The food itself was an absolute delight: the a la carte dishes were good and the specials spectacular with the fish cooked perfectly and with wonderfully complimentary sauces both in terms of flavour and texture.
We had sides of mashed potatoes and chips that worked really well with our respective dishes and were also cooked to perfection.
Wine selection is very good and the Sancerre we had was excellent.
I'll not be waiting so long to visit again!
D. F. (.
Excellent lunch of mixed grilled fish with alcohol free cocktail. Wonderful staff and nice atmosphere for a lunchtime visit. Particularly liked the attention to detail over food allergy advice.
W. A.
This seafood restaurant has been feeding actors and their audiences for decades and when you enter the place you see why.
Comfort, a sense of elegance and at the same time very busy restaurant with great service adds up to a very good experience.
Happily go back again.
The food is great too.
J. J. R.
We ate here on a Sunday night and the atmosphere was so soothing. Unfortunately we had booked the table in the hope to have mussels but we were informed that they no longer served mussels. However we did opt for the Cornish Monk fish steamed mussels, nduja & fregola broth and were not disappointed, topped off with a beautiful bottle of white. Looking forward to returning.
A. M.
A bit of a classic. Not been here for a while but it's worth popping to. We had the Irish oysters which were fabulous along with the very tasty smoked eel croquettes. Tempura lobster was fab and the octopus was fab. Wasted calories on the over priced desserts but who's counting apart from the Mrs. The only other negative comment was the overpriced wine £72 for a dry Rose which was a pretty average cotes de provence. Staff were lovely and great place for seafood.
R. S.
Food standards rating of 5, from July 2018.
Lovely place for fish and all sea food.
We had the sea food starter for two, mixed sea food grill for main and our guests had fish pie ( a tad small) and the tuna steak.
Overall very happy with food, service and that we had the table for several hours.
(From last review)
Visited againVery fishy:) Large portions for platter, good drinks and lovely atmosphere.. i.e no or very quiet background music and no loud people
M. G.
Nice atmosphere in this typical old British restaurant. They serve mainly fish dishes, quite fancy ones. To be honest, for those prices unexpected more fireworks, the food was nice but not spectacular, with my dish being overly soaked in lemon juice. The wine card is quite extensive, but if you just opt for the house wine (white) you'll be rather misguided, it absolutely did not taste the 7 pound a glass. I've after had supermarket wine at this rate per bottle that was way more enjoyable.
The public in the restaurant is rather posh, I don't think you should eat there in your tourist tenue (as I did).
D. L.
Lovely, classic restaurant with oyster bar. Really friendly staff and a very ‘buzzy’ atmosphere. Food is delicious and they have a super wine list.
L. J.
Door opened by staff, greeted warmly. Quiet and cozy, not a tv in sight. Outdoor seating, we preferred indoors. Terrific waitstaff. Food was prepared and presented very nicely. A lovely experience all round.
R. D.
A fantastic, classic restaurant. Staff are absolutely lovely and the food is to die for. One of the few places in London to get properly fresh, great quality fish. Expensive, but good value for money considering how good the food and atmosphere is. Great for a special occasion.

A Truly Excellent Restaurant
Three sat down. Excellent wine choices led us to Geverey Chambertin. Mmmmm. Light enough for fish. Highlights were the crab starter and Halibut and Scallop main. Fresh bread and great service (even though they were full) meant we had a fabulous night.
We will go again.

First time to J.Sheekey.
What a gorgeous spot.
So much atmosphere can see why it's so popular.
Had the famed Fish Pie, well worth the price of admission
Highly recommended

Beautiful Menu Choices, Great Staff and Service. Loved the whole experience.
J. R.
The food was divine and well worth the price. Wouldn't have minded a few more non-alcoholic drink options, however
S. N.
A lovely, warm welcome, from the door to our table. Our table was right behind the MD position so not great. My party included people for whom fish was not their favourite protein, however they were won over by the fish pie, and went home satisfied. Interesting deserts, too.
J. G. (.
Went here for a business dinner and discovered the most accomodating fish restaurant to my vegan and wheat free diet I have ever eaten in. The chef made me a Cauliflower burger and a chocolate mousse that were both not on the menu. They also have a range of salads they will adapt to make vegan and a delicious chickpea curry (I had these as well, clearly I was super hungry). There was a small mistake with the burger bun (that was wheat) but I simply didn't eat it. Had a great evening.
K. S.
This place has the freshest, most delicious seafood in town. For someone that eats out as often as I do, i give J Sheekey my "best service" award. Every time that I dined here the service and food have been top-notch. If you like seafood, you'll surely love this place. The food was presented beautifully and truly delicious. The grilled fish and shrimp were out of this world, very delicious and fresh. They have lot of options where you can choose from. The service was great, as was the atmosphere. The wine is a little bit pricey but you willtreasure every drop. It is surely the place to take someone to impress.
M. G.
We didn't realise this restaurant was fish only when we sat down. But we had a great meal each and really nice table outside too. Fairly pricey for the food and wine is roughly £10-15 per glass. Great for a treat though!!
A. H.
An institution...if you like dish and sea food this is the place to go to...sureounded by pictures of theatre celebrities who patro uses this fine establishment over the past century...
J. S.
In short: Classic excellence, for seafood lovers.
Excellent service staff; exact, polite, and importantly very attentive without being in ones face continually – clearly experienced and well trained, which is always great to see these days.
The food is obviously seafood based, and has great classics like many types of oysters, to fruits de mer platters, and an absolutely delicious fish pie that (thankfully!) has whole fish and no shellfish with it.
Desert options are short and simple, which is likely what most diners want after a good couple of courses. The soft-centred chocolate sponge, with fresh mint ice cream was a perfect ending.
Wine list is short, and while a little pricey even at the cheaper end, is typically par de course for this part of town, unfortunately.
Overall a top notch place, that clearly has a long-standing high reputation for a reason, and a place I'll definitely return to more than once, given I love seafood done well.

Great food and service! Highly recommended

Great atmosphere, good food and superb service

Food is five star. Salmon was the best ever! Don't miss the gooseberry pie if it is still in season. It's wonderful. Unfortunately the sole waitress for our section was vastly overworked. Didn't take our wine or food order for 30 minutes, so I docked them a star. Nevertheless, with patience it is a fabulous restaurant.

Mixed review. Food delicious, had the scallops and the monkfish and prawn curry which was very well cooked. The garden vegetables were delicious and I'd love to know what they were cooked in, and the parmsan courgettes were also very nice. …

Superb. In every possible way.

Although affiliated to Scott's of Mayfair, not as good.

Good atmosphere , great place , good seafood.
I really enjoyed my dinner.
A. M.
I was quite disappointed as this was recommended to us by a local and hailed for it's wonderful seafood. We also thought that it would be outstanding because it was quite difficult to get a reservation. I ordered the halibut and it had quite a fishy taste and lacked flavor. My husband ordered better than I and his was tasty (can't remember the fish he ordered). Perhaps I'm spoiled with great seafood living in San Francisco. This didn't live up to my expectations.
M. M.
Went out on Friday evening. Had our dinner around 10pm.
Food was absolutely amazing. Since our favourite is seafood, we kind of know how should taste a lobster or some octopus.
Amazing experience. Definitely come back here again.
C. T.
Another great place in the Theater district to dine pre or after theater with seafood specialty, especially lobsters and oysters and different type of clams and mussels. It is also a very huge place so there is a very high turnover in dining patrons. Strongly advised.
H.
Fish is on point . Service h is a excellent .
L. T.
The oyster & champagne bar has been a welcome addition to this west end institution. And yes both fish pie & the frozen berries & white chocolate are still on the menu, and still excellent.
C. H.
Homey atmosphere and delicious OYSTERS! One thing need to mention is I found some of the SMALL shellfish (such as clams) on the seafood platter are quite tasteless, but they are all very fresh.
I visit here whenever I’m craved for seafood.
A. G.
Once again, my husband and I find ourselves at one of our favourite restaurants for pre theatre dinner. Atmosphere is great, staff always very friendly and helpful. Food, as always was excellent. Such an ideal place being within walking distance of so many theatres.
R. D.
Excellent service from the waiters and staff. The Fruit De Mair is really fresh with generous servings. The atmosphere is also comfortable. Good selection of dishes too.
R. F.
This is a little hidden gem in central London - a really good seafood restaurant among so many tourist traps. The decor inside is also quite special and the waiters are perfectly dressed - it's a bit of a treat that justifies its quite high prices. But it's totally worth it
A. N.
This restaurant is not easy yo find although very close to Leicester Square. The staff are very professional. The food is excellent but the portions are not generous and the price is high. This is a fish and shellfish restaurant. The photos on the walls deserve a close look as they are an impressive collection for theatre lovers.
P. G.
Great place. Fabulous but unfussy fish. Good wine list. Courteous & attentive staff. Fairly smart but with a slightly raffish, bohemian atmosphere as might be expected from this theatre-land institution. Not cheap but well worth the money.
R. D.
The best seafood restaurant in London if not all of UK. If you want a bargain try the fish soup in the brasserie. It's a superb bouillabaise style soup that is served with rouille. Delicious, and great value. I prefer not to sit outside due to the street aromas, but many seem to bear it.
S. H.
Had another amazing meal at J Sheekey. Always such a great atmosphere and the staff are so attentive. The lobster is simply the best in London, 100% the best. I would recommend J Sheekey to anyone passionate about good fish or shellfish
D. H.
The single best seafood restaurant. I can never remember what starter I have, maybe caviar sometimes, foie gras maybe...... I can't remember because of the Lobster Thermidor and shoestring fries. I have never ordered another main course in the place.
D.
I'm from US and never experienced fish and chips like the ones at J Sheekey. It was delicious and the service was on point. Wonderful restaurant for a celebration or just a nice, relaxing meal.
R. G.
Don't really do fish but if I did I would do it here.
o. l.
Superb restaurant. We arrived 10 minutes early and where seated promptly despite us being too prompt - thank you.
Starters and drinks arrived quickly, the crab bisque is logically served in small saucepan, poured into your bowl at the table, so it remains hot to the last mouthful. First time I've had crab bisque and it was delicious.
Mains arrived soon after, lobster thermidor, perfectly cooked lobster & exquisitely seasoned, the sauce had depth of flavour and was a delight. Smartly & traditionally presented.
My mother had halibut, again perfectly cooked, fresh fish.
The wine, the house white was a terrific bottle, highly recommended and well priced. Dessert, trio of desserts and macaroon, an interesting variety and very well executed. A pleasant conclusion to a very satisfying meal. To conclude, the service was charming, promt and very efficient, couldn't recommend it more, thank you!
M. H.
Went to the Atlantic Bar on a whim and had a superb meal. Sat at the bar, watched the chefs prepping all the cold meals, chatted with the bar staff. Really welcoming. The food was delicious (Crab Bisque, Razor Clams and Steamed Seabass with noodle salad). Had a good bottle of 2015 Pecorino and couldn't recommend this place more if I tried. The 20's/30's feel was classy and the staff were excellent. If you like fish, go!
M. E.
It was open late. Which was exactly what we needed. The oysters came with a good sauce and were really good. As a main dish the teriyaki salmon tasted great! Accompanied by a few vegetables. The entire dish was a little small, but the flavour was great!
T. L.
An historic restaurant in the heart of London. Good quality seafood and a lovely setting. The atmosphere is slightly reserved, largely on account of the clientele. Do try the fish pie and the English sparkling wine.
J. Y.
It's ok. Not awesome, but ok. The service was very polite, though it took 20 minutes for the manager to see we hadn't had our order taken and then all of a sudden service was everywhere.
The food was good, rather nice and not too strong Bisque and we had the grilled fish. Again good, but not "wow".
The Bream was rather impressive, but this was let down by a rather badly cooked Gurnard fillet (it smelt and tasted fishy). The salmon and Bass fillets were also impressive but these usually are in most fish restaurants.
The crème brulee, by itself was too eggy, but the chef had paired it with some poached Rhubarb and some crumble crumbs. This I think was a stroke of genius and turned an average crème brulee into something rather fantastic. Being a fan of crumble this was amongst the best desserts I've ever had....!
The restaurant also nearly forgot the birthday plate I ordered for my wife, but this was remembered with the bill and came with some complimentary truffles.
It was a very good restaurant and I wouldn't mind coming back again, but it somehow missed the wow factor, there's lots of things it does right, but we had a few things missed that took the sheen from it.
That being said I know of no better seafood place in town.
I apologise for the mixed review, but I was left with mixed feelings by this meal, it was close to fantastic but just missed the goal.
(check ahead for the native oysters and crab, despite it being a Friday they had run out by the time we arrived for dinner).
M. M.
The restaurant was packed with enthusiastic people enjoying the fine food. We had fish assorti plate for two which didn’t only look stunning it was beautifully balanced and tasted amazing. Unfortunately the side vegetable dishes tasted awful.
S. R.
Very nice seafood, excellent service and very professional staff. Although we have ordered too much, when trying to cancel one of our dish, the manager did not count it on our bill but still offered us the dish! Definitely recommended it for seafood lovers.
N. C.
Had been meaning to go for ages, but finally got round to it. Although I have given it 4 stars, it was a bit disappointing. Fish for both of us was slightly over cooked and although we weren't in a rush, the people who were heading off to the theatre had a panic as food was late to the pass. It's an experience, but there are plenty of better restaurants in the area
C. G.
I had an excellent pre-theatre dinner here and would definitely come back. You can't miss the oysters which are top notch. But the main dishes are also exceptional. Try the fish pie and the halibut with poached egg. The service is also top rate and very accommodating.
k. s.
Really good vegan options, had mushroom gyozas and tofu avocado salad. Imaginative and delicious . Our waitress was lovely and very helpful.
Only problem was receptionist, she dropped my jacket on the floor - TWICE - and failed even to apologise. I had to retrieve it myself the second time. Very careless and rude.
m. b.
This is my favorite place in London for fish. Been coming for years and this my first review.
Food always fresh and amazing. Service in second to none and all of this at a reasonable price.
Book to avoid disappointment
M. W.
Great fish restaurant...but on the pricey side. It must be popular since I could only book a sitting at 5pm despite booking several days in advance.
M. l.
My most favourite restaurant in London. Awesome sea food in the heart of London. An absolute treat. Sit at the bar in the Atlantic bar and watch your delicious food be prepared. Stunning.
P. G.
Food is excellent but you get really stung for decent wine. We tried the £30 Val de Loire which was tart and almost undrinkable so we upgraded to the £42 Picpoul de Pinet which was only marginally better! I guess it is in the tourist trap but you'd expect a decent house wine.
S. G.
Fantastic fish and seafood restaurant with an enormous heritage. Our service was excellent and our food was outstanding. There are lots of eating options here from location; outside, at the bar or at tables, to style, casual fish pie or sophisticated fish and seafood.
G. C.
Still one of my favorite seafood restaurant in London. Unfortunately, this time we weren't allowed to order dessert because our seating time was up. Always, find this strange. Otherwise, would have given this a 5 star.
R. V.
A very professional set up run by a team that puts the customer first. Food and Service 5 stars all the way, definitely value for money. You will need to book to be sure of a table.
M. A.
Marvellous. In The Atlantic Bar they sure know how to cook a crab and the Muscadet was the perfect accompaniment. Sheekey is one of those iconic London establishments you have to go to. The staff are relaxed and polite. Ask their advice when ordering. Or just order the king crab. It really was cooked perfectly, not boiled beyond recognition as in most places. My friend complained it smelt a 'bit fishy'. Best to remember that you can't please everyone!
T. L. B.
Food was so excellent we ordered seconds! If you like seafood this place is a classic. Will def go back!
I. P.
We booked here to celebrate our anniversary and were disappointed when we turned up on time and the table wasn’t ready for us. We were made to stand by the bar but there wasn’t enough space for people to get past so we were constantly moving out of the way. When we were finally seated, we enjoyed our meal!
L. O.
Went for the set menu: a good choice of dishes and the food was very nice. Service was impeccable and staff very knowledgeable and polite. Recommended for pre-theatre bookings or a casual visit - we were asked upon arrival and treated accordingly.
J. S.
Tasty and colourful food with a nice twist, great and seamless customer service, good location. If you ever visit London this is the restaurant you should visit and taste their the food I tasted J Sheekey's Fish and Chips and it was awesome. Highly recommended.
G. R.
The most amazing pescetarian restaurant in London 👌👌
S. M.
One of the top Fish restaurants in London. Great food and service. Prices to match expect £75 to £100 per head.with decent wine.
M. P.
Lovely atmosphere and fabulous wine selection. Sadly I'm vegetarian, so didn't get to try any of the fish dishes that they're famous for, but their vegetarian selection was broad and the food was delicious!
L. H.
Pleasant pubnin Soho/Covent garden area of London. Not too pricey given location. Live music too
R. C.
Great seafood, fantastic service
A. L.
One of the best seafood restaurants in London I think. The staff are perfect. The inside buzzes, especially around the seafood bar. The food is exceptional. A fantastic standard for other restaurants to aspire to.
B. F.
Proper sea food dishes, but also a really tasty surf 'n turf fillet. Skilled waiters. Good wine. Delicious dessert. Nice location. A bit expensive of course.
s. k.
Smoked mackerel souffle was just the best starter. Desert was the most banging apple crumble profiteroles with cinnamon ice cream. Worth giving the chairs a shout out too; super comfortable. Service was as expected of a restaurant of this standard. Will be back for that souffle for sure.
V. N.
Quite pricy place, dinner for three worth 220 pounds. You should go for oysters, but pick Menai rather than Lindisfarne. Did not try non UK ones, may be some would be better than Menai. Fried Sea Bass was fine, but I wish it was grilled rather than fried. Better pick fries rather than spinach. Fine selection of wines, however they ran out of Chenin Blan. Staff is friendly and careful. Worth visiting if price does not concern.
J. B.
Service very attentive. Food very nice. Had the cornish grilled squid followed by the fish stew. All very tasty. Tables are packed pretty close together.
g. h.
It was OK. That's all. I took my goddaughter for lunch. I had my two mini dachshunds with me so we sat outside. Very cold but no blankets offered. Service was slow, very slow and food was OK. Bill was nearly £160 with just one cocktail
A. K.
Took my Mum for her birthday. The staff were fantastic and even brought out a plate of birthday chocolates on the house. Food was very, very good. Chargrilled squid starter and monkfish tail were particular highlights.
T. S.
Fantastic experience. The turbot for 2 was grilled to perfection and all sides tasted very Google's. I was particularly fond of the tomato salad. Great bread too. The service was very friendly.
L. P.
Went with my girlfriend to celebrate her birthday + finishing her exams.
The restaurant outclassed the reviews that I had read. A simplistic yet attractive dark wood decor, with good decoration and friendly staff. The booking had been made with a request of an ambient table, which the restaurant very kindly granted. The atmosphere was enjoyable, with all customers seemingly enjoying themselves. I didn't hear one complaint for the entire stay.
The staff were all very friendly from the get-go, ranging door staff greeting us well, one of management (I would assume) being very helpful in assisting with getting us a table 30 minutes earlier than we booked for, and the service being impeccable.
We had a dozen oysters, which the restaurant kindly provided us a selection of 4 of each type on the menu. These came with very nice condiments, one of jalapeno in white vinegar, and one of red onion in balsamic vinegar. The usual Tobasco and lemon came, alongside others, however I was much happier to dig into the ones prepared by the restaurant!
The starter was very tasty, of fried chilli squid and avocado. A slightly small portion but the taste more than made up for this. Service was very attentive and picked up on the fact we had quietly agreed to share a starter and provided two plates for us to share out the starter with.
The main course was divine. I had a grilled trout on a bed of creamy mash potato, with a side plate of vegetables. The trout was quite honestly the best I have ever tasted, a good full flavour, crispy on the skin side and tasted great. The mash was also very tasty, as were the vegetables. I noticed there were radishes in the side plate of vegetables, which I was a little wary of (didn't want pungent breath for the rest of the night!), however upon tasting them I found them to be very easy to eat with the rest of the dish without gaining anything in the way of bad breath.
My girlfriend had the Monkfish, Muscles and *insert other main ingredient here* curry, which was extremely flavoursome, which I was very happy to finish off for her. A nice little kick to it, but it wasn't overpowering and she loved it - which was the main thing!
Good selection of wine, but stuck to Sauvignon because my pallet isn't quite refined enough to go against my norm.
Overall, 5/5 in all areas. Would definitely go again, and definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys seafood.
V. L.
Celebrating 125 years of service. Exceptionally fresh food, ambiance and staff are top notch

Amazing

Always such a pleasure and such friendly service. The seafood is exceptional. The smoked eel croquettes were perfect. I've eaten here 4 times and will return
M. C.
J Sheekey Restaurant is splendid; its sibling the Oyster Bar is equally wonderful in different ways. Atmosphere is just a little bit more casual; service is pitch perfect, attentive but relaxed. You order small or large dishes as the appetite takes you. Whole Devon cock crab = great choice.
E. K.
Wonderful evening was had here for me and my partner's anniversary. Food was incredible and the service was spot on. All staff had excellent knowledge of the food and drink.
J. L.
Good service but it is quite pricey~
M. W.
Excellent fruits de mer coupled with fantastic service.
A. C.
Very cool spot. A must if you want to experience a true British institution. It has that genuine Soho/theatre district vibe in the decors and the crowd. Service is great. Seafood is the speciality.
L. H.
My absolute favourite oyster bar in London. Be sure to book the high chairs at the Atlantic Bar, fun watching dishes being prepared. Great selection of oysters and good red wine list.
J. C.
Beautiful food, good service, I had excellent time there. Definitely good back.
P.
Decent service, good ambience, not the most impressive quality of food. While the mussels are interesting, cooked with coconut milk and chilies for a Thai aroma, the prawns are atrocious, scallops overcooked and rubbery, salads tasteless and unimpressive.
L. L.
Highly recommended, Amazing place I love the seafood plate fresh and delicious , staff are very very friendly, Zein helped me to choose my meal 🙏🙏 I will definitely come back . Thank you J.SHEEKEY
T. B.
One of the few restaurants in Soho I've been to that I would make an effort to come to again.
It's designed with dark wood panelling and opulent leather furniture that set the slightly decadent tone for an evening of wine and seafood.
The staff are extremely patient given how crowded it always is and the limited room available.
The food is an elegant experience worth travelling for, and one I'd recommend for all seafoodies. Instead of choosing a starter and main, a selection of carefully prepared dishes such as razor class with chorizo and garlic, potted prawns, and a salmon and prawn burger.
For two of us we had oysters and champagne, four dishes to share and a bottle of wine and very reasonable at £60 a head.
유.
I've been to both Scott's and J Sheekey and given the lack of granularity in a 5-star system, I have to give them both 4 stars despite preferring J Sheekey's more relaxed atmosphere. The cheddar souffle, monkfish and the fish bowl dessert were all very delicious. Bread is good quality.
D. A.
We love J. Sheekey and tonight were at the theatre right around the corner. After the show we went for my favorite.........shrimp and scallop burger.........the others had razor clams. Both are signature dishes so they came out quickly.........at 10pm that's a good thing. Food, service, vibe is terrific.
A. C.
Absolutely amazing!!! The oysters are to die for!! A must visit!! 10/10 beautiful staff just the most wonderful experience! I am already planning my next visit!
G. B.
Brilliant piece of skate and a great Muscadet
H. A.
The restaurant is nice but a bit cramped and dark. The oyster bar is excellent; more relaxed, more fun and more oysters which are the best and freshest in town. Also, the razor clams and lobster tempura are not to be missed.
L. C.
For fresh and nicely prepared seafood one must go to J Sheekey. I usually go with friends and we order the grilled fish platter to share and everyone orders whatever else they like. The ambiance is very nice and the staff is friendly.

A post theatre treat on our 23rd wedding anniversary
Shared the tuna tartare with guacamole and tacos starter, exquisite taste and texture, subtly spicy and smooth with a cucumber crunch and mini chunks of tuna and avocado ... downside ... 2 demi tacos inadequate in every way, please give us at least 4 and you have the perfect dish without compromising the style.
For mains my wife had the sea bream and chose to have it off the bone whilst I opted for the tiger prawn and monkfish tikka massala ... i know! Difficult to explain with so much amazing fish to choose from but I had to listen to my heart and it was asking me to try the tikka if i want to know how good a fish tikka can be.
I added burnt honey carrots and parmesan fried courgettes with tomato chutney for good measure
First to touch my lips the saffron rice is like no rice I have ever let pass my lips.
Soft gentle and full of flavour. The tiger prawns were a good size and had a perfect bite, the monkfish was sublime and the sauce was flavoursome and noticeably light whilst the spinach was perfect in every way but at £28 I wasn't blown away.
The sea bream was perfectly cooked.
No sides accompanied either dish and the ones chosen therefore struggled to compliment either dish. The carrots were one to avoid, not at all what you'd expect other than 'carrot hard', whilst the courgettes were well cooked inside the crust fitted like an oversized winter coat over a summer dress ... i just don't think it worked.
So one superb single Gin and tonic and a still water to share led to a total bill of £97
££££ surely not £££
An anniversary treat that wouldn't become a regular haunt despite the awesome looking menu for pescatarians
J. Y.
I had cheese soufflé with grated truffles to start; skate with capers for main and profiteroles with ice cream and almonds for pudding. The soufflé's was wonderfully light and airy. The ideal starter if you don't want to fill yourself up. The skate was cooked to absolute perfection and looked and tasted delicious. The profiteroles were to die for. I especially liked the way the almonds were cut in strips (I am a bit of a nut, nut). Fabulous taste and textures. Service was excellent too.
T. C.
Incredible selection of seafood; I tried each of the Oysters as a starter and the seafood tikka Misala for the main course, both of which were phenomenal. Great selection of wines as well.
N. C.
Enjoyed our meal and wine selection. A nice atmosphere and fresh sea food. The lobster thermidor was excellent.
M. B.
This is one of my favourite restaurants in LOndon. The food is always beautifully cooked, well presented and fresh. The staff are attentive and ensure you have a good eating experience on every occasion - no robotic serving staff here, their own personalities shine through which make for a more comfortable pleasant experience. HIghly recommended.
P. W.
Great restaurant. Atmospere excellent, service attentive but not overpowering, food excellent - except i must have had a dodgy oyster and have been ill pretty much all night 🤒☹️
D. H.
First class service, first class seafood menu! We've been at Sheekey a couple of times after we watched theatre and opera performances. We love the atmosphere and the cuisine! Excellent service!
K. N.
Beautiful place, first class service and of course seafood is absolutely lush
M. T.
Food is really a 5 out of 5 but service is a disaster. We first waited for a menu for 30 minutes, then for an hour for starters and for desert wine another half an hour. I mean it’s just unacceptable.
N. S.
tried this place as it's famous and I pass it every day, the staff were very friendly. the food was quite good, I find it greedy and off putting when restaurants automatically add a cover charge AND 12.5% tip to the bill. There are definitely better quality and value restaurants to spend you money in the close vicinity
M. L.
J Sheekey is my "happy place". Nothing can beat sitting up at their art deco bar, with a nice glass of wine and a platter of oysters. The place is an London institution - a timeless classic, where you can imagine yourself having an equally enjoyable meal in the same surrounds 30 years previously and 30 years in the future. Service is always warm and attentive, and the food is always good. Wasabi oysters are a must!
H. W.
Traditional English restaurant in the heart of Theatre land. It has two separate restaurants the more informal Atlantic Bar and the main restaurant. Perfect for a pre theatre dinner but do book ahead. Delicious cheddar soufflé and shrimp and soft shell crab burger also an authentic fish stew.
M. A.
Amazing food and friendly staff
D. S.
Great skate, perfect prawns and top notch tartare. Good service and a lively wine list, a good selection including some tasty English ones, Herbert Hall sparkling and a delicate Davenport Limney.
G. B.
Genuinely great service as well as really good food. It was a big contrast to Wright Brothers where they sat us at the bar and then ignored us while people tried to reach over and get drinks. J Sheekey was very refined and really very nice. I would highly recommend.
P. B.
Quality restaurant with excellent food and service although more expensive than most but they know how to cook fish! Recommended
A. T.
Great place for food. Staff was attentive and the fish was fresh and cooked to perfection. Overall, a great dining experience.
M. M.
Now this is one classy place - If you like seafood - you'll love J Sheekey - We went for a pre-Birthday treat - at the weekend, and had the 'WEEKEND LUNCH MENU' which was 3 courses for £26.50 + tip.
The food was incredible - you have a limted choice of three starters, mains and puddings, though it was a stuggle to pick as they were all incredible.
Recommended - its not cheap (even with the lunch menu - it ended up just under £100 for 2 people - we had the cheapest wine and coffee as extras)
G. S.
Just a magic moment! Food is just petfect. Excellent service
P.
Looking for high quality post theatre food & drink? It's got to be J Sheekey. Especially if you like fish of course, which is their thing, but they cover the bases well. The late night buzz is friendly, open and very social. Always recommended.
S. S.
If you like fish then you can't go wrong in this restaurant. The food is delicious. I would give it five stars if not for the atmosphere being a little distracting almost as though a bar and a restaurant have been thrown in a box and shaken vigorously.
L. A.
Rightfully one of London's true dining institutions! Grab a seat at the bar, order something cold and order a range of dishes. Everything is excellent, you'll have a great meal!
P. B.
Visited the evening of 29 November 2015. Fried oysters starter was great (but the listed wasabi in the sauce wasn't evident) and the grilled salmon were top notch. But the service (on the bar/casual side) during this visit was terrible. The kid who was the server didn't have a clue: it took 15 minutes after ordering to get an Old Fashoned', he got the ordered entrée wrong (! another 10-12 minutes for them to get it right) and the requested dessert menu never came, (after another 15 minute wait the maître de noticed and brought me a menu - but by then I was in no mood to order). They add an automatic 12.5% tip - which for this server was so NOT worth it. Consider with caution. Hopefully service will be made right.
A. W.
Always fabulous. Great food, and wonderful service xx
V.
This was amazing. Great seafood, beautiful service, and the decor was tasteful and a little fancy, the move sort of fancy. Highly recommend a visit for a special occasion or just cos.
M. F.
We went for lunch on Wednesday 27th, and had the most wonderful time. The food was sublime, the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a great time. Thank you
R. A.
👌👌great service tasty food
J. B.
Staffand food out of this world sovereign good
S. A.
Love this place. Fantastic food however this time the service was not great. Arrived at 12, didn't get our 1st course until 12.50pm.
L. D.
The best fish pie in London
M. F.
High points was their shrimp and scallop burger, but I couldn't finish as it was quite rich, oysters were served with their gorgeous, tangy shallot vinegar.
I celebrated my friend's birthday and staff were very kind and piped 'happy birthday' on her dessert plate, which was a nice touch.
S. S.
All the food here was great and service top notch
M. S.
Perhaps my favourite place to eat in London. Just perfect seafood (razor clams and chorizo a particular highlight), and the service is both friendly and professional. The bar itself is stunning, and you're made to feel so welcome as soon as you walk in.
Ideal for pre/post theatre as well.
G. K.
Lovely food and great service. Were very conscientious regarding Covid-19 measures. Large outdoor space for dining.
R. R.
Excellent restaurant. Such a great meal with a lovely friend. The service was absolutely amazing and the food was so delicious. The cod was cooked perfectly. A perfect evening.
D. B.
One of the best seafood dinners I've ever had, rivaling some glorious experiences I had in Portugal, Spain or Sardinia.
I had never had oysters and was born away by the quality of the ones they serve for a very reasonable price.
p. m.
Great quality seafood restaurant. Probably the best in central London. Been there a few times for late dinner and have always had great service.
L. F.
Amazing time in the summer, few tables outside.
Really quiet side-street with charming little bistros around.
Food is excellent. Drinks are really nice.
M. H.
Get the fish pie. It's a classic for a reason. The oysters are great too. Get them with some chablis. And remember that the bar is a lovely place to sit. Maybe better than the tables.
B. C.
Amazing, top quality food. The service was excellent. Fantastic drinks menu. Highly reccomend for special occasions, or even any occasion.
L. B.
What's not to love? Assuming you like fish, that is! Great service, Excellent food, not too expensive (it's not cheap though) we regularly test ourselves with a visit.
E.
A post-theatre treat!
J. T.
Excellent and welcomely old fashioned fish restaurant in the heart of the WestEnd. Way better value than its sister restaurant The Ivy. Worth taking the time to check out the parade of old theatre stars that gaze down from the black and white photos on the wood panelled walls, it's an entire history of variety.
R. F.
Superb monkfish curry, great service
A. A.
Great atmosphere and absolutely lovely seafood. Some of the best I have had in London.
The espresso martinis were particularly great.
K. L.
As always... Great!!!! ...Daisy really makes this an experience , which brings me back time after time.....Courteous, friendly and genuine. Superb member of staff
Now for the food.. No complaints. Great.
S. T.
Delicious food and wonderful atmosphere- perfect for a post theatre dinner. A little pricey but such a treat it's well worth it!
C. B.
Delicious food and great service. They took our order and served a 5 star meal within 15 minutes because we were on the way to the theatre.
A. C.
English tradition at its best. Try the fish pie.
B. B.
best honeyconb ever. fish perfect. service excellent.
m. d.
We have been patrons of this restaurant for over 20 years. The food is exquisite and the service first class. One of our favourites are the longastienes and the roasted carrot soup
M. Z.
really just not the bang-up spot it is supposed to be. pretty good, but definitely not worth the rave reviews that normally come out about its seafood. service is horrible generally. food makes the cut, but is not exceptional. typical ok restaurant decor.
A. S.
Love this place! Great for pre or post theatre. Some of the best seafood in London. $$$ (out of $$$$ on the budget scale) but worth it.
L. M.
Good atmosphere, staff were really nice. Dishes not particularly expensive for London. The fish pie was really good.
C. W.
A classy joint for great oysters!
D. E.
Some of the beat seafood and service in the area - top rating!!!
J. S.
Outstanding always! The shrimp crab burger was a star and as usual the Dover sole
A perfect all arounder with excellent food and service!
j. E.
Great fish restaurant! Very easy to see why it has been successful for so long! Good fish, excellent service.
S. S.
Great service, did not have a reservation and they made such an effort to accomodate us. The food was delicious too. Planning already to go back!
R. I. L. A. C.
Fish and Chips excellent. Perfect for pretheater dinner and drinks. Reservation necessary during pre or post theater time. Professional staff
C. G.
Delicious. The whole experience was great; service was top notch, the food and drinks were great and the location could not be any better. I’d be more than happy to come back
A. D.
Classic London restaurant. I have been a number of times and never had a bad meal. Not crazy expensive for London and always fantastic service and fantastic food. Won't be long until I go again
K.
Food was nice (although nothing special) but we had bad service and were treated rudely. It was noisy as well so had a difficult time hearing each other. Overall, the experience easy worth the price...
M.
The service is great, but the signature dish fish Pie is no more than standard.
W.
Always a great experience. Fresh seafood. Service is amazing. We love the oysters and champagne there.
J.
Not disappointed by quality of food, wine and service. One for the more sophisticated nights...yet never felt out of place due to charming and simple design of the restaurant.
S. B.
Had a surprise anniversary dinner here which was wonderful. Great service, the freshest oysters and nice (though a bit dated) decor.
G. M.
Beautiful restaurant sandwiched inbetween the theatre district. On a small side street so can be missed but one of the best restaurants in covent gardens. The mussels were to die for.
G.
Clean and friendly restaurant, good value for money, fresh and tasty food, polite, friendly and professional staff. One of the best London places to eat seafood.
H. W.
even moreso than its sister the ivy, this is the place to go for flawless food, perfect service in a vibrant atmosphere. unbeatable for its simple grilled fish dishes although the few meat dishes are also excellent and worth trying.
M. D.
Excellent food and relaxed but sophisticated atmosphere. Atlantic bar is a great place to go after theatre for seafood tapas style plates and oysters if that's your thing.
N. A.
The BEST seafood restaurant in London

SHEEKEY'S FISH RESTAURANTS HAVE BEEN THE

AL FRESCO PLACE IN WARM WEATHER,
IT HAS STOOD THE TEST OF TIME. 🐟🐟🐟

My favourite fish restaurant in London, hands down! Sheekey's always seems to find a space for you when you walk in off the street without a booking. Sit up at the bar and enjoy the company of the waiters and chefs around you as they shuck oysters and prepare the wonderful tapas sized dishes on the bar menu. From warm bread to start, through to fresh shellfish and salad dishes, all the way to the hearty fish pie, with home made truffles with your expresso at the end, Sheekey's delivers time and time again!
H. S.
I had lunch with a friend the other day. We both had the half lobster and a bottle of white wine. The food was very good and the recommended wine complemented the lobster perfectly.
R. G.
Everything done right. I came here on a Monday night with some actors in a show at the Noel Coward. We were treated like absolute kings and queens. The bar selection is fab ... what more can I ask for :)
s. c.
There are many very fine restaurants in Central London in my opinion though J. Sheekey"s is the best. Every detail has been carefully attended to the decor the ambiance and of course the food, fresh and delicious.
The service from all the staff is superb and the feeling of being genuinely welcomed is truly rare in a busy establishment like this.
I cannot wait to go back again.
P. W.
Spoil with choices, very hard to make decision.
S. B.
Fabulous fish...this is one of those places where everything you eat and drink tastes better than you imagine. Great decor and service as well.
R. W.
Although affiliated to Scott's of Mayfair, not as good.
M.
"Historic" sea food restaurant, the halibut steak is delicious. Usually always a seat at the bar available for business travelers who need a quick quality bite
D. M.
I''ve been to Sheekey's lots of times before. This was definitely the worst experience. I was crammed into a corner and bumped into by the waiting staff at least a dozen times as they served the table next to me. One even stood on my foot.
The food was mediocre - I had turbot which was overdone and dried out.
S. F.
Excellent seafood in a buzzy atmosphere. A recent late-evening visit was a bit marred by a delay in serving the wine, generously made up with a complementary dessert.
J. C.
Very good seafood but expensive. Good range of fish and seafood all very well cooked and presented. Lots of history and character linked to the theatres
T. O.
The food was nice, but the restaurant has the tables too crowded together. Indeed the waiter kept nudging me while serving the table next to me, not his fault - just bad layout
J. H.
I liked the decor and the atmosphere in the oyster bar side, and it seems to attract a well heeled clientele, but perhaps unsurprisingly the vegetarian option I had (tagliatelle pomodoro) was a bit on the bland side.
E. T.
One of my preferred places to eat. excellent location, well kept, and awesome customer service. Highly recommended!
