We went to this restaurant because we were staying at the Novotel. The food is very average and quite pricey for the quality. We had a salad with chicken and avocado. Chicken was extremely dry. Regarding the staff, 0 motivation or passion. Just OK if you are staying to the hotel and need to get something to east without going outside.

Food is great and the menu is changing every now and then. Great atmosphere and nice service, it could be busy however during lunch. Little bit more pricey than pubs in the area.

Good location for a coffee and Danish. Very reasonable prices and friendly service. Not too busy if you need somewhere to hook up a laptop for a couple of hours. WiFi is a bit hit and miss (I got it working once in two visits for about 10 minutes). Easy access to Southwark tube and across the river to City.

It's ok, not very busy on a Thursday evening. Price a little high, service was slow and a tad confused. But there was some live music, a young lady with her guitar and she was excellent!! Not too bad overall!

The staff here are just lovely and friendly. The place has a very chilled out vibe (might be because it was a weekday evening) but decor nay to shabby. Decent enough calamari and sweet potato fries. Generous with their shots of gin- could it be because we really looked like a good G&T was needed?! Ah well. All round good place. Giving it a 3 star just because of the location of the rest rooms. In the basement of the premises.. not ideal when one needs to go!

Bar-Restaurant attached to the Novotel. Nice, trendy place but their cocktails are not great. Presentation of very basic food and drinks.

First and best place we ate upon arrival, although somewhat lacking. It's what it has. English gastronomy leaves much to be desired.

As the sign says SMILE: my server was super friendly and took her time answering my questions. I had the pasta which was good they have different food from around the world. The vibe 5 stars, server 5 stars, but the food 3 stars. I felt like I was eating in a chain like an Applebee’s. Nothing special but it was good. I can see why this is a great place for a beer. Very children friendly environment in the front away from the bar.

Nice environment we ego here for the drinks. We generally go here as it is quieter than all other local pubs on a Thurs or Fri night after work. Food is average Service is friendly but can sometimes be slow. They do 241 cocktails during happy hour..

I went there with my team from work for lunch. Although it was a bit disorganised to start with, the service improved tremendously during the time we were there. The food was very good, better than one would expect from a hotel restaurant. The place looks good and is well situated. I'm not sure this is the right place for a team lunch, but it turned out quite well. All in all a good experience and I would recommend.

Really nice. Burger was good and all seemed to be well cooked, good selection of craft beers, wines etc and all the service was good. Sabrina was our waitress and she was very attentive and engaging.
