8️⃣/🔟 📍Khans Restaurant 💰£5 Chicken Biryani Venue Yes foodies had to venture out to an old school spot for some biryani the other day ngl the family that use to run it wasn’t there only the one uncle guess after 20yrs you deserve a break. Nothings changed here venue wise but still as busy as I can remember it. Chicken biryani Now I was disappointed here not the same as it use to be. very watered down with the sauce from the chicken, the taste everything there but just was really runny and oily. It has gone up in price too from £2 to £5 wish this wasn’t the experience as I use to have two of these in a go back in the day lol. Masha'Allah always best food I live in the area and Alhamdulillah I know and the price unmatched I think all will agree and brother imtiyaz who commented below last month he needs to get a life for crying over 25 pence. These things happen and I'm sure this was a one off thing happened I think any bad reviews that's mentioned here or anywhere surely every company needs to look and see to improve but the guy about being 25 pence short changed I think he over did it lol

No nonsense restaurant, known ONLY for ONE thing, TASTY FOOD! If your after good quality mouth watering food, then look for further. However if you want plush decor and all the other unnecessary things then look elsewhere.

The food was excellent. Everything was full of flavor and portions were perfect. Atmosphere was pleasant and classy. Most importantly they made us and especially our small children feel very welcome. In fact, we've been to very few places that doted on our kids they way the Khan staff did. If you're looking for a great place to take your family for some delicious Indian cuisine, try Khan!

We hit this up when working in the area, takeaway curries hold more oil than the Gulf, when you eat in though it’s proper food, you wouldn’t bring your missus here though.

Dined with my daughter early on a Sunday evening. There was only one other table occupied and we almost decided to give it a miss. However it was due to the fact we were early as by the time we left it was busy. This is a small eatery but with a good all encompassing menu. We tried the popadoms, samosa and onion bhaji as starters and the bhaji was superb. We each selected a curry main with some rice and naan. Both curries were full of flavour and delicious. Service was good throughout and the restaurant is inexpensive. Well worth a return visit as we live close by.

Awesome place for good non-vegetarian meals. I can't even imagine how inexpensive the food is. By looking at it you won't feel like some good restaurant to dine with loved ones but if you are with friends than a good idea to pop in and have a try. Lamb curry is the best... Visiting this place for almost 7 years now.

For a traditional asian style cooking Khans is great. Not recommended for family but definitely a place for the lads wanting some traditional style chapati and curry. Very cheap. Parking is limited.

Must try. Don't be put off by the dated decor. Cheap homely Asian meals. None of the fancy rubbish of paying £2 for a can of coke. Free tap water!

We can get Cheap and best Indian and Pakistani food. It was worth the money. Naan, butter naan and roti was priced as 50p and 70p. I wondered when I saw the rate in the menu.
