Another gem you have to try. The food was lovely and cooked to perfection, with just the perfect amount of spices. Especially loved the tender meat and succulent chicken pieces which went lovely with the sweet and puffy rice.

Stumbled across this gem by chance on our way to Hampstead Heath. Joojeh and Koobideh were succulent. Service was spot on. Finished off with desserts and steaming Persian tea. Good experience for the entire family.

Truly delicious food! This is by far the best restaurant in London. i am stuffed when i eat here because the portion is incredibly huge. Excellent value for money! thank god i discovered this restaurant. you never go hungry either. a lovely selection of wines too. One of my favourite places to eat...wow!!! Stylish contemporary restaurant, food and service. Highly advised if you can get a table! Came here for my boyfriends birthday, what a fantastic array of food. The presentation and flavours are fantastic, and fun. The staff are really friendly and overall had a great time. I would suggest trying everything. Sometimes it can be tricky when eating out but these guys really know their stuff. Didn't know food could taste that amazing!!

Went to Lavash for Sunday lunch food served was Persian which included as starters a cheese dip an aurbergine dip a fresh salad and mushrooms we were served with this fresh flat bread which was being baked on the premises. Very healthy and fresh. For mains we shared between 12 of us lamb shanks served with Persian rice a chicken dish and a grilled fish. All this was also very healthy They served alcohol but I liked the selection of fresh juices which h included carrot, carrot celery and apple and a few others. The only thing I was not happy with was desert which was apple crumble but found it far too sweet but on the whole was pleased with the service and the food.

This is the first time I have been here.The meat was dry and tasteless and somewhat smelly. The presentation for the take away was downright awful. Skewers of mixed kebab just dumped in a tin foil container, no bread, no tomatoes or anything. Unacceptable way of preparing & presenting Persian cuisine. Pricy too. Will avoid in the future.

Very good & wide range of delicious persian food. My only criticism is the kebabs are not piping hot when they arrive at the table! It's a lot more expensive in 2022 & they automatically include service charges despite a slow service! I want my money back!

This used to be my favourite Persian restaurant in North London. We went back for the first time since the pandemic. It appears to have changed ownership as the vibe has unfortunately cheapened in some places (red and black leather seating, tinted mirrored walls, cheap-looking card menus, Persian pop beating away over the speakers), which is a shame as it used to have a sophisticated, contemporary vibe before. Now it is more like one of those clubs that are a restaurant by day then bar/club by night. The food is not too dissimilar to how it was before and I still enjoyed my koobideh. Food was decent, staff were unctuously polite and attentive, but it has changed and not for the better. There are enough Persian restaurants in London providing very similar food but the ambience was this place's USP and that has changed significantly.

Clean modern and large restaurant. Good service with a vast selection of Persian dishes that you won't find in other Persian restaurants in London. One such special dish is Albaloo Polo and others inside include Sabzi Polo with a whole Seabass and Tahchin amongst others.

FANTASTIC! It was extremely busy, but staff were still great! They made sure we were satisfied. I would happily go back. Best food I’ve ever had to be honest! I may have been starving but it was to perfection. Starters were delicious. I’d heard it was the best one in London and I certainly wasn’t disappointed! Lovely atmosphere too, busy on a Thursday night is definitely a great indicator. Even the wine menu was outstanding. Definitely worth a visit and would happily go back!

My partner said it was the best food he had had in a very long time. The server was really helpful and was really lovely. Definitely will make a return visit to here. Portions sizes were large and price was really good value. Presentation wise was on point. I particularly liked the atmosphere as the lights were dimmed down. This is a fantastic place. We were a party of 6 adults and a child and ate £150.00 worth of food. At the end of the meal we were informed that we won the price of our meals. This was a great surprise, the fact that we didn't pay anything for our food. As for the food it was fantastic, great quality, fresh and very nice food. Everything from starters to main course was high quality. Service was to great standard as well, staff were polite and nice, very attentive and helpful. Last thing is the toilets were spotless. I always judge the cleanliness of a food place by their toilet. All in all a great experience for a family day out in a great restaurant. Highly highly recommended. Will difinately be back

It was my first time in Lavash today. I ordered Chenjeh with rice and my friends ordered Kobide with bread and Morasa polo with Jojeh.. The food was really really delicious and it was warm and it didn't take long to bring. Just I hope for the next time the service be perfect as well as the taste of food.

I came here a few years ago for a friend's birthday party. What a fantastic turnaround the new waitresses are much more lovelier and warm. Thought I'd give this restaurant another go and was very impressed by the new staff. Much more attentive and very skilled in greeting me. Their bread and yogurt mix is beautiful. Gorgeous selection of grills to choose from and new wine on the list which was affordable! Nice environment to veg out in. Coming back for sure!

Dropped in on Saturday evening. We are from the states and are exploring London and we came across this gem as we are staying in the holiday Inn down the road. I cannot fault this restaurant, service was excellent and I appreciated the design of the restaurant. What a fantastic, vibrant menu served in ample proportions. Their wine collection is rather impressive too. We went for an all vegetarian selection for starters, simply based on the quality of the starters but anyone looking for meat-based food would be well served too as we opted for the lamb for mains. What a gem and it seemed obvious that the locals knew it too!

Good Ambience Food Could be Better. Staff are welcoming and friendly. The food was presented well and the kebabs were good. The stew called Gheimeh (split pea& lamb) was low in meat content and salty. The lamb shank was nicely cooked and the meat fell off the bone needed more flavour. I was going to give 4 stars but the dessert was a huge disappointment hence 3 star. The Apple Crumble was microwaved and served. There was no crunch to the crumble and the taste was very poor. I would go back for the meat but wouldn't entertain anything else.

Probably the best food I've ever had. We went there for a quick lunch. Really affordable food, gigantic portions and enough space so that you can go with your team for a Thursday treat. Its fantastic for maintaining a healthy diet. If you can't finish it they can put it in their own take away box which in my opinion is a nice and personable touch!

My partner and I have been lucky enough to venture out to the best restaurants in the world and we have probably had the best meal of our lives here. We are at a loss to understand why this restaurant lacks a Michelin star, when it is certainly a gold stellar restaurant. The place has a relaxed feel to it, truly unique and fantastic food produced and served with passion. Can't recommend lavash enough. 5stars! If you don't go, you only have yourself to blame!

Excellent place! I went for mother's Day with my mum and rest of the family. Not too cramped like smaller restaurants around Finchley. My lamb fillet was fantastic and I can only recommend it - OMG that aubergine starters was excellent! Staff was super lovely and attentive as well! Would totally recommend this place! I have tried all the Iranian cuisines around that area and this one is number 1!!!! ❤️

Average Persian restaurant! The food portion size specially bread and rice were not what you expect in a Persian restaurant. We asked for more bread a couple of times and every time they served us a tiny bit. The quality of Kebabs were hardly OK (Joojeh kebab was better than Koobideh). The starters were much better than the main course. We asked for tea after the main meal and it was cold when served! I feel that there was no enough staff in the restaurant to handle all the jobs! Overall I won’t recommend them when you are with a large group!

Lavash is just the best place for Kebab! Very different feel to what you call your “generic” iranian restaurant. Mega FAST service! Incredibly sweet staff who made our dinner visit with a toddler so enjoyable and easy. We been dining here for years and must say their change in staff has definitely brought the mood up and alive. Really warm and humble people. The food has always been the best dont get me wrong but i feel their staff have revamped positively! :D so no qualms about this place other than the change in service which has been a massive turn around as these people genuinely care for their customers needs. Would recommend going during the week as it is packed out on the weekends!

I've been to number of Persian restaurants but Lavash was a different experience, the atmosphere and lighting was great and the background music was a good choice (helped with eating more!). The food was excellent and the staff were very welcoming and unlike other restaurants were not waiting for you to finish your food to grab the empty plates. I love this restaurant and the food especially that it was always clean. We took many of my friends there. The food is great , the service is fantastic especially the aubergine starter, mirza the gasemi is the best starter. However, they have recently clean the table and poor all the bits of rice and everything on the floor, which will give you two problems, they stick to your shoes and also under the table is very dirty. As i dropped my key there and was horrible to pick it up. I also think toilet now after 10 years need another re grout to make it look fresh and needs one of those automoizer freshener as there is a smell last 3 times. The tap in ladies now needs fixing it has been like that for the past 5 yesrs I hope they read this and notice that customers keep visiting, as much as we love the food, the standard of cleanliness is a key. I love this restaurant, this is why I write this to improve it.

Food was flavoursome. The concept is exceptionally good as its a unique version of persian food which makes this restaurant stand out a mile from others in London as Im a fan of persian food. The service is very fast and i got seen to immediately didnt let me stand at the door. The dishes are versatile which is a massive plus for me so your spoilt for choice. I tried chicken olivie to start and i decided to go for the lamb which i believe is called the koobide. The koobide was an enriching taste. Very very delicious. My mum went with the green stew sabzi. That too was delicious as i tried it. We finished the meal with persian ice cream - LOVED IT!!!!💜

Visited today. The food is very fresh, very nice plate of vegs and yogurt. Also they do nice innovative persian dishes such as Ajil Polo, etc which we didnt try. The main dish portions are very small and bit expensive compared to other Persian restaurants. We had 3 dishes as follows: 1) Joojeh Kabab: It was ok, fresh chicken however it was not tasty. small portion. 2) Kabab Koobideh: Not a great taste at all, it looked like they added a lot of holding materials which made with untasty and difficault to chew. 3) Ghormeh Sabzi Stew: The worse dish, very bad taste, I think it was from a can. Staff were ok, although they were too under-staffed. in general I would say no value for money. however its a well presented modern environment.

This is a great place to grab a quick bite for lunch or dinner. They focus their menu around grill but they have a variety of options, including multiple vegetarian dishes. They cater to everyone's taste. They also have a good amount of side dishes to choose from, and their wine list is plausible!!! The main thing thats draw this iranian restaurant out of the bunch is their lovely WINE!!! Prices are on the generous side (massive portion). I gave this restaurant only 4 star,. The service is rather slow and Prosecco is only served by the bottle. Most restaurants serve by the glass or sell small bottles. I did not like the wine served this evening. I asked for pinio grigio which is a light wine, This was not Pinio Grigio served to me. The Iranian food is just amazing and authentic, best in London and I have tried them all trust me. Been twice in the last three weeks.... Please please serve Prosecco by the glass or small bottles and I will be back weekly. Cant believe a few customers have left negative feedback , again i will say the food is amazing , large portions and of course it will cost a little more, still worth every penny

Iv been to alot of iranian cuisines but their food is simply astonishing. Their service and food is unrivalled and very impressive. Im chuffed to have discovered this restaurant through a mate. This restaurant perked me up especially when i been getting the Christmas blues (that time of the year). The beer, nuts and the free bread definitely perked me up. If your searching for the place that gets you out that depressive mood give this jolly place a visit. Im on that picky side and this place beats the depressing local pubs near my end. Friday evenings are definitely the best. Ohhh and give their kebab a try. Really succulent!!!

Filling - and rather nice I thought. A lively crowd for a Thursday night. Not as chic as some places you might get nearer the centre. We tried the set meal for two and it it could have fed four. Our second visit after a year, and still a real treat! Ordered the meze of your own choice as starters - meatballs in yummy sauce is a must! Shared lamb fillet dish, followed by heavenly strawberry and vanilla ice cream. The crispy bread is great for dipping and isfahan beer, pineapple juice and Southern comfort/ lemonade came to just over 35 quid! Overall a lovely experience for sharing food for two. I visited Lavash with a friend on the recommendation of a friend of hers who is from Iran. We were not disappointed. We were made very welcome from the start. Our food was delicious, both starters and main course. We had KASHK E BADEMJOON - Aubergine crushed with mont, walnuts and garlic served with bread to start and LAMB CHOPS - Served with salad and sautéed potato for our mains. Our waitress, Fatima was lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Lavash. We will definitely be coming back.

Good iranian food, Great service, I always get "tahchin " one of my favourites. I do prefer to have harder crispy rice with my food but they have a good food. The place is just designed a bit dark, maybe more suitable for a romance dinner than a proper iranian lunch . :)

I've been to many Persian restaurants in London and Lavash has been my latest successful discovery. My parents were visiting from Iran, and as no food can cheer them up like good Iranian food, I took them to Lavash as our local Iranian restaurant. We started with their freshly baked lavash naan, and mast-moosir (wild garlic yogurt) dip as appetisers. For mains we had; Albaloo Polo (Cherry and almond rice with chicken), Baghali polo (slow cooked leg of lamb served with herb and broad-beans rice) and Soltani (lamb skewers 2 ways, served with rice and grilled tomato) and we absolutely enjoyed and finished them all! Despite being busy and full of costumers, the service was fast and the staff were friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable for the great quality of food and pleasant atmosphere you experience. We can 100% recommend this restaurant and will definitely go back and take more guests with us! Thank you Lavash, and keep up the good work.

None of them did it for me unfortunately (food & atmosphere). However, the food at lavash melts into your mouth - especially the mezzes! The atmosphere is warm and kind of out of this world.

Your experience of this place is entirely dependent on how adventurous with the menu. Staple Persian delights are excellent, but you might walk away thinking you paid a little over the top. Try the specials menu. It's seasonal and it lives up to its name. The waiters know their stuff so quiz them and get them to help you decide on a dish. Let's go backwards since I'm a desert fan. Bastani with Falooda. If you like rose flavour, this is just luxurious. Even if you don't like rose flavour - it's Moreish! If you like trying new thing and don't mind sweet kicks in your food. You have to try the Fesenjoon. It's like a curry, with pomegranate sauce. Also sweet and savoury is the Molassa. Rice with lots of nuts and raisins and orange zest. This isn't your ordinary kabuli pilau type thing. The flavours are subtle but pronounced. Starters are all good.

Amazing food and service .We had such an amazing experience of Persian food “Kebab".we went to lavash restaurant for family lunch today with 6 adult and 1 child. We choose 4 and 2 mixed grills platters. Wow, Chenjeh was so soft and kobideh very tasty without smelling fat. Joojeh very soft and juicy. Rice amazing . Staff very polite and smiling. And very important part, toilet was very clean and hygiene. At the end my husband went to the counter to pay and unexpectedly they informed us we won a free table so all was free for us👌👌👍 I just want to say big thank you to you all in lavash restaurant and thanks to the manager. We highly recommended and definitely come back again 👍
