M. B.I contacted Lele’s as I saw they were local and I needed a Vegan afternoon tea for 4 people at fairly short notice (a few days). They were very responsive and we arranged to pick up the afternoon tea on a Sunday morning. The staff were very helpful and friendly (they told us what everything was and allergen info) and the food not only looked amazing but also tasted delicious (there was easily enough for 6/8 people so everyone got a packed lunch the next day - the box in the photo shows the afternoon tea for 2 people). Would definitely recommend! (I am not Vegan but thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon tea).

Even with a (only slightly!) reduced menu that Valentina designed to work with my budget we still had a huge amount of delicious food and leftovers for days. Everything was hearty, tasty and dazzlingly well presented. Favourites among the group included the donuts, vegan sausage rolls, Oreo brownies and polenta lemon cake. Everything went down a storm and I am already trying to think of a good excuse to order again. Highly recommended.

I. A.We ordered a gorgeous afternoon tea for our anniversary - we used to go for tea in person, but of course that isn’t possible these days.
Lele’s were incredibly friendly and kept us up to date on the delivery of our order on the day, too. When it arrived there was so much food that we actually had to save some for later! The range of baked treats and sandwich fillings was great and tasted wonderful. I hope that we’ll be able to visit in person when it’s possible :)

M. M.We picked up an afternoon tea for 2 to celebrate my husband'd birthday and it was amazing!!! First of all, when I placed my order I mentioned that my husband doesn't like lemon and they were super nice, they changed the content of the box to accomodate both mine and his tastes. Then, when we picked it up, the box was so big it could have fed 4 people! Great variety of treats, all delicious! My favourites were the brownies and the cinnamon buns, my husband absolutely loved the truffles! Everything else super yummy too, and I can't get over the flowery decorations, it was just beautiful!
You can really see the passion and hard work these ladies put it in.

Note that there is no seating and the food isn't covered. Staff not wearing masks and not washing hands before serving. Also a bit expensive. NHS discount accepted!

P. G.I had a pasta with vegan cheese pie, with some carrot and sweet potatoes as sides (for a total of £6.50). I was asked if I wanted the pie cold or warm, cold turned out to be a great choice, it tasted very good. The only remark I can think of is that adding just a little bit more salt might have accentuated the vegan cheese better, but other than that it was perfect. It's easy to under- or overcook carrots, but these were done just right, bravo! The sweet potatoes were nicely done as well, adequately humid, not dry at all.
All this in a relaxed atmosphere, friendly service and great sounding music coming from the Bose branded speaker.
When I'm back in London I'll definitely visit this place again, it reminds me of the many great vegan places in Berlin.

I love this little and cosy vegan café in Lower Clapton. After trying their fantastic red velvet birthday cake, I have no choice but ask them to prepare my wedding cake: a 3 layer cake with orange and white chocolate decorated with white flowers and eucalyptus...simply DIVINE! The service was very welcoming, helpful and punctual. I feel so lucky having Lele's at my doorstep :)

A. I.Popped into Lele’s on Wednesday for a late lunch. Went for a sausage, spinach and cheese sandwich panini thing. It was awesome. Hot and yummy and the sausages were lovely! Paired it with a super healthy fresh pressed green juice with spinach, ginger and other goodies in it. Lele’s is a brilliant little vegan cafe that serves breakfast, brunch and lunches. I’ve been several times now and have loved everything ever eaten there. The people are lovely and friendly and the decor is cute and quirky in an upcycled Hackney kind of way. They only take card payments BTW which is great for me as I hate cash. Love this place and will always pop in when I can.

I had ordered beforehand for collection for my girlfriends bday and the attention to detail was second to none. It was immaculately presented and had a large variety of different cakes, pastries, sandwiches, brownies, scones etc., all of which were of the highest quality.

The cakes and croissants are dry and lack flavor, such a shame! All their pastries and cakes also have soy in them except a few cookies.

We were in awe and it was in fact the most beautiful and dreamy cake that we had in a very long time! Just look at their Instagram pictures and you will know. All her creations are done with a lot of talents and efforts. Taste-wise, our cake was definitely as good as it looked. The chocolate cake was moist and delicious, even after 2 days staying outside the fridge at room temperature. Thank you so much for this special cake. I look forward to try other bakes at Lele’s!

I've been a huge fan of the cafe since I discovered it over a year ago, but I became an even bigger fan when I decided to order my partner a birthday cake from here. Absolutely beautiful! The softest, lightest red velvet sponge with chewy chocolate chip cookies and a lovely marshmallow-like icing. Can't rate it enough - for the perfect vegan celebration cake, you will not be disappointed!

P. B.I bought the afternoon tea for for myself, my grandma and my mum (who are not vegan unlike myself) as a Christmas present. I can honestly say It was the best vegan food I’ve ever had. We got to try an array of dishes, from (fish-free)salmon and cream cheese sandwiches, to savoury scones, to the most delicious cakes and tarts. Even the coffee was amazing.
My grandma and mum (the typical vegan critics) were amazed that vegan food could taste so good - in fact, they genuinely couldn’t taste the difference. In their experience, they both said it was the best afternoon tea they have had to date.
All of the food was handmade, delicious and exceptionally well-priced. Along with this, the service was personal and friendly, and it was a pleasure to meet Valentina who has clearly invested so much love and time into such a beautiful business.
Cannot wait to visit again and will be recommending to all friends and family - both vegan and non-vegan!

H.OMG, I love this place! This small vegan restaurant has gluten-free options, delicious food (compared to all the bigger ones, seriously good vegan English breakfast), and absolutely lovely staff. There are quite a few good vegan options in the area, but make sure you don't miss Lele's!

A. A.Love this place have been a couple of times for breakfast and the vibe is good, location great and food mostly delicious - fresh ingredients. The only thing that lets it down is sometimes the staff are distracted / too busy to give the best service but they mean well, they're not rude in anyway.

I contacted Valentina about catering a short film shoot, and despite our modest budget, she was so so accommodating, offering us 3 bespoke menus to choose from at different pricing tiers and even offered to drop everything off at location the night before. We went for cinamon buns for breakfast, Mac&cheese with three types of salad for lunch and then mini brownies as an afternoon snack. Glowing reviews all round from the crew. Couldn't recommend Lele's more!
A. P.Wow! we ordered catering for my a breakfast party i was having and ordered a selection of pastries, banana bread and cinnamon buns, along with a cake. They were all so delicious everyone commented on how yummy they were! Highly recommend ordering :-)
