Reviews of Lobos Meat and Tapas

Omg the best Spanish tapas bar Ive ever been in London !!!!!!
Little bit pricy but taste will let you forget about it 🤪😂
Ordered Black Rice Paella as well but forgot to take a picture….. it was that good I forgot!😂
Highly highly recommend this place!
This place gets really busy during weekend so make sure to book in advance :)
D. T.
A real and authentic feel to this intimate restaurant. You need to be prepared to get close to your friends when dining here, as it is very small and a little cramped in places. The staff were friendly and enthusiastic. The food was tasty and excellently presented. Nice casual stop for authentic tapas
A. Z.
Liked everything we ordered apart from the sautéed mushroom as it was way too salty. The tables are probably too small for several dishes, the waitress struggled to fit everything at one point. Overall positive dining experience, would come back for the great food.
D. C.
Awesome meal.. Feel like I'm back with family in Spain. Just better than others like Brindisa.. Always coming back.. Staff super friendly and even put a candle in my wife's desert when they found out it was her birthday.
J. C.
Pretty good tapas and lovely decor inside (nicely tucked under the railway arch). Lobos sangria was excellent, the dulche de lèche cheesecake was sadly rather disappointing
F. W.
Going to a tapas place you always wonder how the portions are going to be. In this case I'd say for the price the portions are not too well sized. (Already took two or three chorizo in the picture but still rather small).
Food quality and service were good if price was not a concern.
A. F.
Lovely food (esp the meats) and lovely wine, but bits and pieces were disappointing. Not a fan of pan con tomate, was way too soggy. Service a bit slow towards the end where we needed to seek attention. But a pleasant place overall with pleasant food
H. N.
The service and food at this place are top notch. I booked a table in advance and requested the most romantic table in the restaurant and they gave us one. The host (Evich, probably not spelling her name correctly) and our waitress (Nicoletta) were kind, sweet and helped me pull off a surprise for my date's birthday. The food is not the cheapest but definitely worth a splurge, even my Spanish data approved. Highly recommended!
E. T.
Cocktails were great, the food was average especially given the price. Cool setting sitting in a booth in the railway arches.
I. M.
Booked in Lovos Borough Market at short notice after a charge of plan and had some of the most delicious tapas we've ever eaten. Every dish was cooked perfectly and the service was friendly and attentive. Prawns were amazing!
C.
Excellent tapas and cocktails, we were sat in a cosy booth underneath the railway but can get quite packed and loud at times. Would definitely be back for more!
J.
Had an amazing dinner at Lobos at Borough Market. The welcome was warm, the food was perfect, the wine went down a treat. Would definitely recommend.
A. O.
Great restaurant tucked away but serves great Tapas, cheese board and drinks. Nice music and a lively atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Loved this place. Real sangria, made at the bar in front of us was a good way to start. All the food was delicious and super fresh (although in small portions, as the menu states). Deserts were delicious too. Can't decide which past of the meal was my favourite. Staff was very nice and we had a fast service. One of my favourite tapas places in London.
E. S. P.
We visited on a Saturday evening and has an absolutely wonderful experience! The restaurant wasn't busy, so we quickly managed to find a table. We ordered some beer 🍻 and sangria to start off the meal in the right direction! We then had some Padron peppers, which were super tasty and perfectly made. These were followed by some fabulous pane tomatoes🍅, grilled prawns, pork with crisps, and the most wonderful green salad 🥗 served with crunchy nuts & paired with more bread with a buttery garlic sauce. "Scarpetta" has been a must of the evening! Overall great place! We can't wait to be back and thoroughly recommend!
M. O.
Excellent food, wine and service. Since the outside area has opened due to COVID restrictions the team do their best to accommodate under the circumstances. Visited many times over the years and will continue to do so.
M. R.
Oh , the food was delicios and just enough to have a nice taste of it.
We had tapas of 5 types of dishes.
The octopus 🐙 leg was amazing!! Never had such a delicious, crusty and with a flavour of charcoal octopus leg.
Was cooked at perfection!
Well done chef !
I will go again ?
Definitely !!
D. A.
My business partner and I went to the Soho branch yesterday night and although the service is friendly and professional, the restaurant is cool and quirky, I did find the food to be good.
Overall but some dishes lacked attention, for example the pulpo was smoosh and lacked grilling to make it perfect and easy to cut, the pan con tomato was under grilled, making it again a bit smoosh (again), the gambas al ajillo was under-seasoned and under-garlic-ed
It might sound neat picking, but it is what I think makes a good tapas place a great one, especially when you get a £110 bill...
J. S.
Great experience! Everything was delicious and the staff incredibly friendly despite it being very busy.
Must try: the black rice, ribeye, octopus & croquetas
(and if you have room for dessert can't go wrong with any of the options!)
Z. S.
Great tapas restaurant.
Very friendly staff and tasty food.
Good portion sizes for the price
Could do with a slightly wider menu, but what they do have is delicious.
Will definitely go back.
F. G.
Ooolalala how should I say this? One of the best Spanish tapas restaurants I have been to. It does taste as good as what I had from San Sebastián. I came here because they have the rib eye and pan seared fois gras. The octopus tapas which I had was cooked beautifully, compliments well with the celeriac mash. Rib eye steak was spectacularly cooked. Compliments well with the fois gras which was creamy and delicious! Although the price of the tapas can be slightly overpriced but I think it’s worth the penny.
H. H.
Much smaller than you might expect, and split over two levels which are more like tunnels than rooms the vast majority of tables are for two people. This gives a nice intimate feel, although the tables can end up a little cramped once all your tapas starts arriving! The food was excellent and service quick and friendly. The restaurant was very busy, even from early evening so make sure you book ahead.
K. S.
A small and cosy Spanish tapas restaurant, located underneath the railway bridge.
Loved the food, especially the croquetas, which are delicious, and the chorizo (be warned, it is spicy).
The service we received was great.
Only gripe was my friend’s wine: the portion was small for the price paid.
C. P.
Fabulous food, not an exhaustive menu but it was all cooked and presented very well.
Highly recommended.
g. r.
Amazing! Simply amazing. Their food is exceptional. Dont go for a quiet romantic meal, Take a loved one for good food and a tremendous atmosphere where the staff make you feel like you're home.
J. S.
Good quality, good and fast service, very popular but not the cheapest place though. I wouldn’t serve some food of paper cups like the bravas or chorizo as I dont think it match the quality or the price and is a big waste.
A. C.
All food delicious but the octopus in particular is out of this world good! Looking to go back sooner rather than later.
L.
Absolutely loved LOBOS and already look forward to my next visit. My friend and I went on a Monday even, and I am glad that I had booked as it is cosy and very popular. We both enjoyed each item of tapas that come over, along with the huge olives, warm fresh bread with alioli. The red wine was less than £30 but delicious, not too sweet, not too dry. We ordered from the tapas menu, and went for the prawn and calamari, potatas bravas, ham and cheese croquetas and garlic mushrooms which were served with an egg on top. I can not tell you which dish was my favourite as they were all so good! The bill, including service, was just over £80 - amazing value for such a delicious meal, in a very cosy, cool setting. Highly recommend!
N. D.
Thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
Super tasty food and really friendly staff.
Definitely worth a visit.
S. S.
Great food and atmosphere. Outside seating. Garlic prawns and chorizo cooked in red wine were surely dishes out of the lot.
S. I. R.
I would give it 10 stars if I could! Delicious food, great service and beautiful place!
A. v. W.
Food was very good and the atmosphere great. Was a bit surprised at how pricy the bill was at the end of the meal, mostly driven by very expensive drinks. Worth the visit.
S.
Delicious food, the octopus roll and croquettes were amazing! Nice huge area of outdoor seating, lovely service and delicious tapas overall.
M. Z.
Cosy and small place for tapas and Spanish food. Portion is small but price is reasonable. Steak and black paella are great. So were the desserts.
S. F.
Really good food and excellent service! Great for grabbing a quick bite to eat or for sitting and slowly making your way through the menu! Very reasonably priced given its location
e. e.
Great food, very friend staff, what we ordered:
Grilled octopus - great!
Patata bravas - liked that they made it a little bit spicy
Mixed Mushroom - comes with truffle oil
Rib eye...the meat was sensational!
One million dollar question: Will I go there again?
100%!!!
F. N.
We got a table upstairs in this tapas bar. Nice and cosy we felt really nice and welcome. Wines were good and the food was amazing. The octopus, wild mushrooms, meat platter and croquetas were incredible. Forgot to take a picture of the secreto ibérico which was the most amazing pork I had in a long time. Totally recommended.
J. C.
Went on a Saturday and it was quite busy - it is quite tight when sat inside for two, so being sat outside with heaters was nice. By in large the food itself was okay - the paella was tasty and so was the peppers. The only thing I would say that it is quite expensive and the dish sizes is very small. There were two of us and we almost ordered every dish on the tapas section and weren't fully stuffed (we thought we would be when we ordered). Overall, it is nice little restaurant that isnt the cheapest.
N. Y.
I love this place. Great service and amazing food. The meat was heaven. The only thing I would alter is how quickly all the dishes arrived, it didn't quite fit on the table all at once and we felt a little rushed.
a. h.
Walked by this place with lines out the door several times so we decided to make a reservation after being turned away as walk-ins. It always seems busy and reviews were good so we figured it would be a great night, but we left disappointed. The service was hap-hazard at best- our server was inconsistent, distracted and inattentive for much of the evening. I enjoy tapas restaurants because I love getting a variety of smaller dishes to share with friends, but these small plates are TINY and disproportionately expensive for the quality. We were rushed through our meal, but when we wanted to order more, no one was to be found. Drinks were tasty, but again, very expensive. The ambiance has the potential to be great, just don't get seated upstairs as you'll spend your meal trying to talk over all of the yelling, while sweating next to the heat of the kitchen. Downstairs seating seemed to be much nicer if you're looking to have a more relaxed dinner.
A. T.
Amazing cocktails and the bar staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. Even made me a drink that wasn't necessarily on the menu and it was delicious!
C. D. L. ᅳ. R. J.
The bunker-like appearance is a warm and cozy design that the mother has hugged the child and a friendly service of the very stef and very good foods.
S. G.
Absolutely fantastic meal here after visiting the shard, staff couldn’t do enough for us! Food was the most delicious tapas we’d ever eaten and they even came out with a panna cotta with a candle for my mum’s birthday! Definitely come here if you’re in the area.
S. E.
My husband and I had the most wonderful
Anniversary in the most beautiful restaurant. The food was freshly cooked and hot, so tasty, well presented and a pleasure to share together. The staff were friendly and so quick to respond to smile or a nod for attention. We will be making little gem a very special place to “us” and be returning for our next anniversary. Thank you Lobos.......
M. D.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff and really tasty food. It is very cramped in here though so be prepared to be sitting very close to others.
A. C.
Food decent, slightly over seasoned and slightly over priced, staff friendly and nice vibe, 80s britpop in the background a little out of place.
S. M.
The food was delicious. I had the pleasure to try few tapas and my favourite was the grilled octopus in a bun. Also the black paella was very tasty. We will come back soon.
P. W.
Brilliant. Really enjoyed the unique location, and the charcuterie was exceptional, along with the rest.
C. H. Y.
Food is tasty! Recommend the seafood starter. Was still hungry after ordering 4/5 dishes because forgot about the carrrrbsss.
C. B.
Excellent authentic Iberian cuisine and lovely friendly staff, highly recommended
M. X.
So tasty! Especially the pork shoulder is tender and yummy. I will definitely visit again.
L. G.
Quaint tapas place. Authentic fresh food and lovely wine. Excellent service with friendly staff. Will return. I recommend the 'peppers'
嘤.
Our table was given to us 20 min after the booked time. But the food was good.
M. D.
Delicious food, good service and tasty cocktails...really good Tapas
S. S.
Super tasty tapas joint. That sangria was quite good as well. Four plates was almost too much food for two people, but we managed;)
M. K.
Really lovely food, menu is limited though. Would have liked more options - but was available was delicious.
J. F.
A nice bespoke restaurant.
Moderately priced, tasteful especially enjoyed the Olives and the Octupus tail.
C. T. (.
High quality of food and friendly staff. The texture of the monkfish is extremely well. However, the price is above than average. Worth to give it a try.
S. T. C.
wonderful food, it's worthy to come again(even after two years)!
E. J.
Great service and fab food. We tried a lot from the menu but I only took a photo of the pork selection. It was delicious!
G. M.
Fabulous Tapas restaurant near London Bridge. Not the cheapest is you take the wine in to account but the food was great and quality of wine, if not cheap was really good.. one star knocked off due to price (half a star) and noise of trains going overhead (half a star). Three of us did eat very well and I didn't choose the cheapest of wines to be fair (2 bottles) the bill was circa £230 including the service charge
M. H.
Nice fried chicken, although could add a little more flavour to the Mac and cheese
M. L.
Excellent tapas especially Octopus and Iberian fillets. Good attentive service in a quirky intimate location next to Borough market. Just let down by the cheesecake desert that was a little dry.
F. C.
The food was delicious! Sitting outside wasn't cold at all just a little noise with the trains running overhead
G. U.
Very nice food good choice of tapas would recommend
K. V.
Loved the food and service. The staff was lovely.
F. A.
Spanish food that I love. Very friendly staff. Try a bit of everything
J. S.
I’ve lived in long enough and been here enough times to know that this is one of the best restaurants in London. With amazing food, great ingredients, service that’s informative yet honest and more than friendly. Joel the owner (who’s become a good friend) has Formed a team of colleagues so special, which have created an atmosphere which is more than unique and enjoyable. I couldn’t recommend Lobos enough. Any time I have a friend visiting London THIS is the place I take them.
S. L.
The very best quality of food one can expect! And in a very nice setting...
G. C.
All in all, Lobos is a wonderful addition to the London tapas-scene. A casual place with great food, wine and laughter. The wine list gives a good snapshot of what Catalonia has to offer and prices by glass and by bottle are reasonable. I would love to come here with a party of four to six people and take a tour around the wine list.
M. C.
We thought this was a tremendous find. Really classy authentic super high quality Spanish tapas. Staff super helpful and friendly and very buzzy vibe. Yes, it’s more expensive than your average tapas, but this is far ahead of your average tapas. Judging by the fact that it was heaving on a cold Wednesday night, there are many discerning eaters very happy to pay for this quality. Booking essential. We loved it.
e. n.
Great food and fantastic atmosphere. Lovely to sit outside and enjoy last of summer weather! Only thing is that it’s a little expensive for such small tapas - you definitely need to order more than you think.
C. C.
Fancied some fish and chips for lunch so gave this place a go. Have to say I could not complain about the food, a really decent sized bit of fish perfectly cooked and very juicy. Will be going again soon.Ordered a home delivery. Was delivered in 45 minutes. Well worth the wait. The fish was massive and cooked in a fabulous crispy batter all piping hot.
K. I. (.
This is a small little place situated under bridge. Inside was quite small with bar style seatings. Food wasn't too bad, some hits and some misses. Just a bit pricey for the inconsistencies.
C. D.
I love Spanish food and this place doesn't disappoint. I've been twice in 3 years and the quality of the food and service has remained high. Make sure you book in advance!
A. L.
Great food, especially the small plates. All outdoors currently though under the bridges, great vibe, the trains are noisy as others have said!
N. D.
The food was and service was amazing, bottle wine prices a little steep and the seats are a too hard. I would have given 5 * but the discomfort of the seats took away from the dining experience.
S. T.
There are better places in London for tapas and wine, but it’s not a bad place for last minute meal if you’re hard pressed to get reservations. Good for people watching at this location as well
M.
My boyfriend took me here for my birthday and it was a perfect night. The place is tiny and the atmosphere is very intimate, all space is used accurately. We had Rosa as waiter and her service was excellent. The staff brought my cake singing happy birthday. Both pieces of cake were on the house, a very nice treat. Will definitely go back !
C. D.
Lovely food, great cocktails and super nice service. Even the toilets were clean and looking inviting. Definitely one to visit again and again. Would be nice if they added a few cushions on the chairs though as they are pretty hard. Part from that, loved it.
y. y. 6.
highly recommended. Everything is fantastic. I booked and requested for cushion seats due to pregnancy and I got it, not only that , most of the waiters aware of my pregnancy and recommend what food to order or what not to eat ,they are aware of anything on the table like tissue paper is dirty and they soon replace new one, water is finished and got a new bottle immediately, the service is excellent. Ofcouse the food is very good too , me and my husband ordered quite a lot and every dishes has the right amount of seasoning and good flavour. We definitely will come back again after my pregnancy to try out other dishes that I can’t eat now.
M. S.
Nice food and drinks but not worth the fuss. The octopus was not the best favour, patatas bravas was soggy and sour, and tortilla was runny in the middle. Black rice was nice. Sangria tasted too much like frangelico and too little like sangria. All in all a ok dinner, but not worth the price.
J. K.
The food was very tasty. But also pricey for what you get.
M. B.
We loved it. Black rice was the best, garlic prawns were fantastic, even the tomato in bread was delicious! Best tapas I’ve been to in London.
M. M.
A taste of Spain.
A tiny piece of Spain tucked away in the corner of borough market.
We'd got a free night with the kids at the grandparents and decided to have dinner in town. Loved this place, really good food and wine. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for - worth every penny The black rice was particularly good.
Attentive, but not overly, service. We will go back to this place.
C. A. M.
Great spot for lunch. Cannot fault the tapas, staff, service or atmosphere! The food was brilliant, fresh and made in front of our eyes...decent portions so six tapas was plenty for three people. The staff and service was incredibly friendly, I mentioned it was mums birthday and without asking for anything they surprised us with a free dessert, candle and sang happy birthday!
N. D.
Surprisingly, this is possibly the best tapas I've had in London.
Picked it at random based on proximity to London Bridge (which I thought would make it worse). It might looks tiny from the outside but it's got capacity. The food was excellent, from the usual tapas dishes to more unusual ones.
Service was friendly. Was quite busy on a Monday evening although we got a seat without booking.
S. T. L.
Great people are working .
Menu was good , Thank you
M. T.
great fresh food and loveky service. Good selection of wine too
J.
Great, quirky, out of the way tapas restaurant, serving great bites to eat. Try the black rice, amazing!
D. K.
Really nice place where you can try good Spanish food. Good offering of wines that will definitely compliment it. Service was pleasant and very helpful. Leaving 4 as it is definitely overpriced. I'm not even mentioning that in Spain this would be 1/4 of the price.
E. M.
Food was great, as was the setting with the tunnel feel, large windows overlooking street and wolf comments written throughout. The rib eye with the foie gras on top was our favorite but honestly all the dishes we ordered were fabulous. My daughter has several allergies and they provided a menu that detailed all the allergens in each dish and what could be removed - a very helpful feature for us. Definitely worth trying.
M. N.
Came here for a quick Birthday lunch, and managed to have about 9 course between us in under an hour. Service was quick and pleasant. The food was particularly good, and much better than your standard spanish tapas, with everything drowning in oil because it's been fried so much. Still felt the freshness, the tapas dishes were a good size and also had some fairly decent cocktails.
D. E.
Oh my, this place is fantastic! Impromptu drop-in after some work drinks. No reservation so we sat downstairs in the bar and asked the waitress to make some recommendations for us. Had 5 dishes brought to us in no time at all, along with beers that came almost instantly. VERY professional and attentive staff and the food, EXCELLENT!
A. S.
Last minute booking and it turned out to be absolutely amazing. Outstanding food/tapas and crazy good efficient and friendly service. we will be returning for sure. tacked away in Borough market area. there is an entrance from the main road as well (under the main bridge). very quirky décor with an open kitchen. well done
L. O.
Cannot recommend this place highly enough the flavours and combinations of food are just heavenly. The Chorizo is like nothing I have ever tasted before, croquetta just melt in the mouth, steak and foie gras, meatballs I can go on and on!! All washed down with beautiful Sherry, Red Wine and finished off with fabulous Espresso Martinis! The staff are so lovely as well. Definitely worth a visit but you will need to book in advance.
A. B.
Food was great, as was the setting with the tunnel feel, large windows overlooking street and wolf comments written throughout. Service remarkably good, ambience quirky and inviting, food is seriously outstanding, great drinks and sangrias . I have not been that impressed for a while. we will be returning for sure ! thank you !
s. m.
Good place, super good food and best service ever
H. D.
Really nice intimate setting upstairs with good waiting staff. The food was amazing, although the mixed mushrooms were too salty for me. Otherwise the lamb, meatballs and seafood was splendid. Weird choice of music for the setting however.
S. P.
Great Spanish food! The service is efficient and friendly and the food is awesome, but the portions are quite small. Don't take the tapas BS, tapas are small and cheap , this is just small portions. Even so, I would totally recommend, it is becoming one of the places where I go when I get homesick.
V. M.
Cute little place with a good selection of tapas. Seafood tapas were very fresh and in general with lots of flavour from herbs and sauces. Drinks are quite strong. Price was reasonable. Worth a visit!
V.
Great food - very tasty and perfect to portions to share with family/friends. My husband enjoyed it so much we now look for nice Tapas places in Perth. Quite a small place, but loved the noisy vibrant feel of it and especially the trains going overhead - don't get that in Perth :-)
D. A.
Everything is just superb, service to wine too food. Actually the food is more than superb, it's perfect, amazing, superlatives maybe need to be invented for just how did it all is. Just go, you won't be disappointed, unless you don't get a table...
J. V.
Lobos is one of my favourite restaurants. The staff in all of their branches are always amazing, and always knowledgeable about the food and about the wine selections. Highly recommend !
J. R.
Lobos is definitely my new favourite Spanish restaurant in London. We dined their with friends and had a wonderful meal. The croquettes were the best I have had, and the melted cheese with flaming brandy was superb. The service was great and it was a really fun evening all around. The place is unique and funky, but very small. Cramming our 4 top into a very small space was the only downside.
P. L. L.
Delicious food and super friendly staff
G. M.
Surprise find in Soho, Not usually a fan of Tapas as tend to be disappointing for price to portion. However this was surprising for a friendly dinner for 3. Great reception and numerous staff to help serve the delicious food. Some dishes I would say are better value than others, black rice portion roughly the same as patatas bravas but double the price. two seafood Paella a little steep at £13.50 each consisting of small side plate of rice, 3 x prawns and 3 small mussels. tasty but bit pricey for the size of the portion. Prawns in garlic and chilli, excellent taste and 7 prawns for the price was fair. stand out dish for me, ham croquettas. delicious full of flavour. We ordered 2 desserts only one showed up, asked the staff and the second came within minutes and was given on the house. Great service, being able to speak to the staff in Spanish was a nice touch and advice on number of dishes per mouths to feed was spot on, we didn't leave feeling hungry but a little bit like fat pigs. Will defo visit again. Great find for Tapas.
J. P.
This place makes me feel nostalgic about those Barcelona nights, but experiencing them in my home town is even a bigger pleasure. Amazing food, great atmosphere and very friendly staff! I got everything Iberico I could and all was great. Had the Chuletòn (sirloin), tender and tasty. Padron Peppers perfectly done, croquetas nicely fried.
A. A.
The food is amazing! I had the chicken liver and it was tasty and perfectly done! The secret plate is awesome! I almost considered taking a second serving. Although I have a policy of trying different restaurants when I visit a town, I may break the rule, this time!
P. S.
Amazing tapas! The best I have ever eaten ad for very fair price. I strongly recommend. The staff is also fantastic. We were served by a guy called Joel. Super friendly and he speaks 3 languages. The place is also fantastic, rustic.
R. P.
Amazing food, friendly staff, perfect for a tapas lunch/dinner
K.
Very average, small dishes (even by tapas standards) and expensive wine. Go round the corner for HMoor steak instead. Service was good though
S. C.
The food was delicious!! We had the sea food black rice paella, chorizo cooked in wine, croquettes & padron peppers.
C.
Amazing food! Great service. Delicious wine. Some of the best tapas I’ve ever eaten. Especially the Monkfish (you have to try it!) and the croquettes and the lamb shoulder. Delicious! Will be coming back soon!
S. F.
Went for a late dinner on tbe way home after meeting some friends for drinks in the City. We literally got in about 5 mins before the last order deadline but the staff were really nice and said that once we ordered then there was no rush to finish eating. The tapas were good and tasty, nothing we ate I would.consider as wow, but everything was well cooked and tasty. The restaurant is nice and has a nice intimate feel to it, the staff were friendly and helpful and true to their word, we were the last people in the restaurant but nobody tried to hurry us. I would definitely go back, nice restaurant, good atmosphere, good service, and good tapas.
S. P.
went there a few times already. The quality of the food is ok, nothing special. portions are quite small, for example the Padron pepper is barely enough for two. But hey, it is in borough market, so guess you pay for the location. The octopus was very tender which was great but the paprika on top a little to light on the strengh. Other tapas were also very good. But what I prefer is the fact you can drink Uruguayan wine! it is good and very well priced! i adds to the whole experience. I will keep on going there.
R. F.
Impeccable from young English lasses that were more than just good servers. Ours new her wines quite well, was able to explain any questions about the preparation and more. And selections arrived at the table quickly with little delay, the result an entire evening sort of melting into one great experience.
N. G.
The food is delicious! We shared four tapas for two people and everything was amazing! The service is also very nice and helpful! We will definately come back!
L. H.
AMAZING! We came here at 6pm before it got too busy and enjoyed some of the best tapas I've ever had!! Every dish was more delicious than the last! Space was a bit limited but atmosphere & decor was great and wait staff attentive and friendly. Would definitely recommend!!
P. M.
Excellent use of space under the arches of London Bridge station. You hear the trains above you as you eat! Staff were friendly and polite on entering. Appreciate the waitor service has lots of people to serve but I think a little more time spent chatting to customers and explaining the menu and history of the restaurant would go down really well. Otherwise would have given 5*

Been here a few times and never disappoints. The food is spectacular! We provided feedback that the meatballs were very salty and staff tasted and agreed and removed it form our bill. The ribeye and foie gras is incredible, we had 3 portions between 4 of us. Staff are always very helpful and friendly. One of my favourite places for tapas in London
A.
Great experience here for my girlfriend's birthday. Food was fantastic, service was excellent, and they even threw in a complimentary serving of potato croquettes along with desert. Special thank you to Rosa for making the evening special.
C. J.
Lobos is one of my favourite restaurants. The staff in all of their branches are always amazing, and always knowledgeable about the food and about the wine selections. We were lucky enough this time to get a table for two as a walk in but I'd always recommend booking as they tend to get very busy. The Iberico pork selection we had this time around was incredible, the croquetas were amazing and the mixed mushrooms with a fried egg just brilliant. A few glasses of tempranillo to wash it all down was just what we needed after a lot Ng cold day of wandering around the city. Can't recommend this place highly enough.
D. K.
I have dined here a number of times and the food is excellent. Best for 2 - 4 people as the area is on the smaller side being under the arches. The bar stools around the window are good for people watching too.
I have just booked the only "big table" for a xmas lunch which seats a cosy 5/6.
A. W.
All the dishes here are prepared to perfection. Very solid place to go for a good meal that won't break the bank. Have been a handful of time and always get good, friendly service too.
T. S.
Nice decor and great food. Try the prawns and the secreto. Portions are on the small side, but perfectly ok for tapas. The staff was helpful and friendly. I would recommend and visit again on the next occasion.
G. A.
Great little eating house serving good tapas and reasonable wines, they certainly know how to pack in the tables though and if you order more than four items plus drinks your struggling for room. Front of house are very friendly and knowledgeable of the produce served all in all worth a visit.
M. Z.
Just checked this place out. Great food and great atmosphere. Will come back here for sure. The upstairs has a very unique look and feel. It is great for a date or catch up with a small group of friends. The people working there looked like they were having fun. I recommend the meat and the tapas ;)
V. L.
Food was OK if somewhat underwhelming although I enjoyed the croquettas which helpfully come in a large portion! Service was good, if a little over friendly and too try hard.
I'd visit again because of convenience but there are certainly better places for tapas.
M. C.
Weird experience, originally wanted to go to Padella that was fully we stubble upon Lobos and after quickly checking review thought that could be a good option for a quick bite. The welcome was not great but we got a seat on a stool by the bar which even though not the most comfortable was adequate for what we wanted, which was tapas.
To cut it short, the food was nice, the service on the crappy side but because we apparently had to wait for a while longer than deemed acceptable for the manager for the food to come, we got dinner for free... Which was pretty nice. I guess we need to try it again
K.
Great quality food. The temporary seating under the arches is ample but all a bit noisy due to trains passing overhead
P. K.
My favourite place for secreto outside of Spain. It's delicious. Great wine, cosy setting under the arches by London Bridge. I keep meaning to try other dishes butt the secreto is simply too tasty to ignore.
A. T.
I was looking forward to this place but for me it just didn't match expectations. The place is small and cramped. In their favour they tried to make the most out of the space and give it a different vibe. Tried the sangria cava which I wouldn't recommend. Tasted like a cold mulled cider. The food was hit and miss. Delicious monk fish & black rice, would have that again. But chewy secreto iberico pork. They add 12% gratuity which I felt was a bit too much for the type of place.
A. H.
Great place for drinks with friends or a cool date night. The restaurant sits under the train tracks so the upstairs seating in the tunnel is cozy while the downstairs is more open and lively. Food was quick and a fun spin on some classic tapas.
E.
Excellent tapas place in the heart of London Bridge. Is usually very busy but during the week us not that hard to be accommodated. Classic Spanish tapas like patatas bravas, which for me are one of the best ones I have had in a tapas place in London. Good service and flavours. Prices are OK for London, worth going in groups of four to enjoy more dishes.
R. M.
Excellent tapas, absolutely delicious food and cocktails, and wonderful customer service! We felt so attended to, and the servers went above and beyond. Definitely will be coming here again, I would recommend it to anyone.
j. h.
Munching down on a bit of Octopus looking across the table into my dates eyes and all I could think was "damn this food is good". I totally forgot to pay her any attention and shock once again I went home alone. Thank God it is a reasonable price else that bill would have been a killer. Oh well on to the next one.
V. P.
Cute little place just off Borough market, loved the decor inside but very small. Good food and service was on point. Has a good range of dishes but provdbly not so for vegartarians. Would try this place again.
L. I.
OK, so, given the fact that I am Spanish and have probably been in most Spanish restaurants in London I have to say this is so far the only Spanish restaurant where food actually taste AUTHENTIC.
The owners are LOVELY, Spoke to Joel and he gave me a bit of introduction on the chef's background.
He treated us like royalty - we were all super-happy with the service and specially the food. Price wise, you do get what you pay for. MUST GO!
J. D.
Amazing food. The chuletón was epic.
Not expensive if you consider the quality of the food.
Service was very good. It can get packed, so book in advance.
G. H.
Nice place. A good find. But the meat and cheese board is not great value.
M. P.
Yummy! Great tapas and really good sangria. It's pretty dark inside. So it's not a place to go, if you're expecting sunny natural lighting.
L. H.
Really decent tapas in a cozy little place. It’s a bit expensive but there are some outstanding dishes on the menu. The Presa Iberica pork is fantastic and the crocquetas are smooth and creamy. The Patatas Bravas were alright but the mixed mushrooms were a bit salty. Overall good experience but it wasn’t exceptional.
N. E.
I'm torn. As the food was good. I know my tapas. However you're cramped and you feel like you're in a rabbit warren. The restaurant is made to fit a space and not the other way round. Not exactly cheap either but you are in London Bridge. Staff friendly.
W. H.
Brilliant food. Love the Iberico steak and crisps. Very fast and friendly service. Sitting under the bridge is great!
M.
Really nice intimate setting upstairs with lovely, friendly staff. The food is amazing, well thought through and subtlety changed for the local area. I highly recommend the croquetas and arroz con costras - delicious. Great place to spend an evening or a long boozy lunch :)
P. C. T.
A good Spanish restaurant. Every thing on the menu is very good and worth it to be called Spanish food. This is as good as an Spanish restaurant gets in London, but don't expect neither the low price or the big portions you can find in Spain, this is still London.
A. T.
Visited Friday night? really busy, but the front of house team were great . Drinks at the small bar and then a table for 4 upstairs. Food was fantastic and staff were so helpful, fun and friendly. Could have been in Spain not under the arches on a windy February night.

Best Tapas I've had in London to date. Delicious food, friendly and helpful staff. Cosy, atmospheric and a great place to unwind and relax, escape even from the bustle around London Bridge outside. Can't wait to go back.
t.
Great Tapas, really nice service right in Borough Markets, better suited to smaller groups as tables can be rather small. All in all I would recommend even as a person who doesn't particularly prefer Tapas
J. W.
Arrived off spec, welcomed in and spent a few hours having a great dining experience. Thanks
R. W.
Their mojo is back!!! That is with a significantly reduced menu and every dish was perfect! Well done Lobos. However it was a whopping £75/head (yes we did have 2 bottles of wine between 3 of us) and forget the experience. If you choose outdoor seating it’s like canteen under the bridge
P. W.
Excellent food under atmospheric arches in London Bridge. The quality of the dishes are high. Only downside is that glasses of wine are small which makes it pricey. Also tables are available for a strict hour and a half. By @paulfoodie
M. P.
Absolutely wonderful, authentic tapas
P. M.
Excellent. The staff was absolutely fantastic, always smiling, efficient, helpful. Couldn't be better. The food was great. Go and you will not be disappointed.
E. M.
Amazing food. Genuinely authentic and would recommend to an Hispanic person visiting London
R. P.
Really good tapas, would definitely recommend the 600g steak to share with friends. The service was good and the place had a good atmosphere but it was a bit expensive compared some other tapas places in London and therefore get 4 🌟 from me
A. M.
Super amazing food. Was always here when worked in the office. Missing the time working with colleagues in the office and spending time after work.
R. F.
Brilliant food and hospitality! We entered the place with 15mins to close, yet we were welcomed with smile and had the pleasure of being served very well and kindly by Elena. The food was a different level - absolutely spot on! Great place, highly recommend it! Thank you, Elena.
P. D.
Amazing food. The chuleton is definitely the one to get!
J. C.
This was genuinely some of the best food I have ever eaten, it really was excellent. My girlfriend absolutely loved it and on the same evening she proposed to me at the top of the Shard. Couldn't have asked for better service.
B. L.
Food was decent - not Spain spain quality but pretty authentic I mean it's London innit - compact but convenient location. Avoid patats bravas - not good - croquettes, pork cheeks, and pardon peppers were great!
F. M.
The best Spanish restaurant that I've went, here in London, small, very cozy. The staff were very welcoming, knowledgeable about the menu.
The food was delicious, a real Spanish experience. 5 Stars
D. I.
Brilliant spot for tapas and a wonderful atmosphere... Also love the soap in the bathroom with the exfoliate beads very nice touch. We had dinner here Saturday night starting with the ham, chorizo and cheese board followed by some tapas and finished with rib eye with foie gras which was wonderful. Would recommend this place for sure
A. T.
Small unassuming tapas restaurant on the outside but once inside your hit with an old vibe of being in a previous century mixed with the urban hipster vibe.
Really well done unique tapas menu - do not come here looking for standard bravas or chorizo tapas. These guys are testing your tastebuds with eclectic dishes that will have you chomping and the bit for more though your wallet may have different ideas.
Definitely recommend
L. B.
Gorgeous food but very expensive.
C. M.
Absolutely delicious food. The iberico pork shoulder is devine and must be tried
E. F.
Loved, loved, loved this. Had the ribeye and fois gras, black rice a croquettas. They were all mouthwatering
M. G.
Amazing little hole in the wall steps away from the shard and London bridge station. Authentic iberico ham and other Spanish tapas. Friendly service and reasonable prices in the heart of London. Croquettes were a favorite and the meat and cheese plate is the perfect starter.
J. W.
Absolutely a m a z i n g!
The food standard here is so great, I wish I could give it a 6th star. I've tried many, so many Spanish Restaurants in town, practically all of them and not a single reaches the flavours and quality of Spanish cuisine like this one.
I want to eat all my meals here when I'm hungry. They have a great selection of Tapas on the menu, including two of my favourite, Tortilla and Manchego. There is also a good variety of meat dishes and I specially recommend the Secreto Iberico. Basically, you will enjoy anything you order from the menu, but don't hesitate asking the staff for any suggestions as they are super friendly and welcoming. The girls are very kind and they are always smiling.
It is true that the prices are a bit high, but it is worth paying for the quality of food and the service you get here.
This place makes me feel nostalgic about those Barcelona nights, but experiencing them in my home town is even a bigger pleasure.
L. L.
Exceptional food and would highly recommend a visit with appetite. As usual for the area, super tight between tables and just hope your neighbours have good neighbourly etiquettes... will visit again for sure.
R. M.
This has a Latin vibe, from the outside decor to the friendly staff and menu. I was made to feel very welcome, attended to by the staff who gave good explanations of the menu options I asked about, were timely with the food and all round nice people. Now to the food, I ordered: octopus vinaigrette. Just as tasty as the octopus in Portugal! Amazing fresh taste with great olive oil. followed by the paella style chorizo rice and egg crust dish (tasty!!!) With of course the dulce de letche cheesecake for dessert. Amaze. I recommend. They have a good choice of wine too!
R. G.
Food amazing. Service attentive but not overbearing. Alpha our waitress was friendly and enthusiastic. Definitely recommend it as one of the best tapas in London.
J. k.
Delicious!! Incredible experience and atmosphere. Loved all the tapas and wine. Perfect way to start the weekend. I will be back for sure :)
A. P.
Staff were very helpful and attentive! Location is great as it's right beneath the arches and if you get a window seat on the 2nd floor it's a great spot for people watching!
M. S.
Amazing and fresh food. The staff was really friendly. Best mushrooms I’ve tried in my life. I love this place, I’d absolutely recommend it!
A. T.
Fantastic, authentic Spanish food with friendly service in an atmospheric setting. We had the Iberico Pork Selection between us and it was superb.
M. S.
A solid place. Great food, nice ambiance, amazing service. The mushrooms with truffle and the chocolate and pistachio dessert were mind blowing. Will come back.
W. d. R.
Extraordinary tapas. Bit expensive but well worth it
S. K.
LOBOS Borough is literally my favourite place to meet people to eat and drink! Seriously, just go there and find out for yourself!
G. H.
From the former team at London Bridge's Brindisa comes a meat lover's paradise. The unusual venue has a great, buzzing atmosphere and each item on menu is expertly prepared and cooked. Highly recommended.
C. R.
Great food, nice service, what else do you need at a tapas place? Ah yes, drinks - lovely as well. Positive atmosphere and absolutely full stomach))) Pulpo was great!
c.
Lovely place great food. Looking forward to coming back with my best mate to try to the steak.
C. L.
Had the 600g steak carved off the bone to share. Superb.
M. D.
The Soho branch of Lobos is one of my favourite restaurants in London, so the older sibling had a lot to live up to.
Food service and general vibe was fantastic - the Soho branch pips it, but only just.
M. L.
Highly recommended !
I had a great Friday night at @lobostapas.
I shared the seafood garlic and chili, the croquetas, the deep-fried marinated dogfish and the Iberico pork selection and they were all succulent.
The desert was very tasty too.
Great service and atmosphere and excellent music playlist.
Very good location next to Borough Market in London Bridge.
This restaurant is, without doubt, my new favorite tapas place in London.
A. D. C. M. D. A.
Excellent food and super speedy service, although our waitress was hovering around a lot and also interrupting us. Overall had a good experience absolutely love the place and the atmosphere
E. B.
Truly Spanish food in London! Same as the tapas I had in Barcelona. Location not optimal (a little small - not a place for the claustrophobic) but the tapas are worth it
R. M. S.
Best Spanish meals in town. A mandatory stop if you like this kind of food. Native people in the kitchen is always a good idea.
L. H.
Great food but it's not cheap, check your expectations there and you'll enjoy this place. Portions could have been better, but I'm nitpicking because I rarely dish out fives.
S. K.
Nice Tapas and friendly staff. Not cheap but worth the money. The Ribeye and the appetizer are great!
I. F.
Great food.
I. R.
Fantastic food, friendly staff and a great outdoor area to eat (heat lamps included).
T. K.
Amazing venue and the food was nice. Not the best tapas I have had in London but still nice
m. w.
Really great service food came really quick on a busy Friday night. Food was amazing really enjoyed everything !
C. O.
My first tapas. The food is absolutely delicious. I'm moving to Spain.
Also, Eva improved the experience for all of us.
S. N.
Delicious food at a decent price and the staff were really helpful!
L. G.
Great service and great food, specially Secreto Iberico & croquettes, and the best panacotta ever. Lovely place and amazing atmosphere. When I have friends to impress I always taking them there and they always loved it. Great place, I will be back.
D. C.
Amazing food and service. If you are in London that's the place to eat.
C. S.
Buzzing atmosphere and great food. Would come again. The black rice dish was exceptional - a must try.
L. C.
Lovely intimate restaurant and bar. Some of the staff were lovely, however our initial welcome was a little off putting. Food was lovely.
J. R.
Really rather lovely. Tasty food in this cozy rustic venue. Informal and relaxed, no hassle, just good food and wine.
L. F.
Beautiful! Beautiful I tell you! Great sergice, bit pricey but great place to go for a treat because food is fantastic. Space is really nice and cute too. Would definitely recommend
M. H.
The best for meat and/or tapas. If you like meat and/or tapas this is the best place. I simply cannot overstate how good this place is for either meat or tapas. Or both if you’re hungry. If you’re thinking about eating meat and tapas then look no further than Lobos meat and tapas. No where comes close when it comes to meat and tapas.
C. M. C. (.
Some fantastic Spanish food, with really friendly staff. Very genuine, loved it
D. G.
Great food, delicious, really enjoyed it and loved the atmosphere.
S. C.
Always happy to try some random new restaurant and found Lobos. The place is tight and looks ok and the staff was really nice. BUT the food is great and thats why I personally go to restaurants. Try this place your self and see yourself but try it. Will defiantly go back.
S. E.
The tapas were ok, Personally I think it's quite overpriced, the waitresses are quite cold and bitchy. The place looks good for a date but very warm due to the old style lamps.
G. L.
Great service, specially considering it's in a prime location and they are super busy. Service is good and friendly. Slightly on the expensive side but a good place to dine. I'd definitely go back.
N. S.
Great staff, buzzing atmosphere and decent food, but very cramped seating and not great value for money with a couple of beers and a few plates hitting the £50 mark.
M. L.
Absolutely delicious, recommend for all your tapas needs
X. O.
Fantastic Spanish restaurant in the heart of Borough. They serve modern tapas and a large selection of meats. Their Ibérico Pork Selection is a must!!! You won't be disappointed.
J. H.
The croquettes and three meat plate were amazing. If you're planning on going during high traffic times, definitely make reservations.
D. C.
Quite expensive, especially considering the food I got. Hot food was reheated and not cooked fresh.
Place is cool, but quite small and a bit overcrowded/claustrophobic, especially if you go to the upper floor.
Service was good.
M. B.
Im not usually a person to write reviews, but i have to for this place. Their service was outstanding; there food was amazing. I highly recommend coming here.
L. J. S.
Very tasty food and the vibe in the late evening was so nice.
M. G.
Great Iberico Ham - and cozy atmosphere near the borough market.
C. A.
Staff were good and helpful. The restaurant was small and cosy. However the main attraction the food was a let down, everything served tasted the same! Not value for money.
A. H.
Wonderful little gem tucked away in Borough Market. Can be quite cramped and crowded, but the quality of the food and the fantastic staff make up for having to squeeze in to get a table.
B. d.
Went here for our 21st annivessary lunch. Charming place. Good food. Good service. The lemon pannecota was the best dessert ever.......
A. S.
Great food and a friendly atmosphere. Great for tapas, though I suggest booking as is very popular.
t. e.
Best tapas I've had. I love tapas and tried different tapas all across the world. Crowded place, small and loude. But still great. Thaks.
M. M.
It is both complex in choosing, yet reassuring to know that every dish on the menu is exceptional. What a fabulous meal, I can’t wait to return.
J. W.
Went in for a drink but their licence means you have to eat to have a drink. So its not really a bar is it? The croquettes were nice and the four small beers came to £30. Friendly staff but it's an expensive beer!
L. C.
Great place with amazing selection of Uruguayan meat and wines !! And great service too! Thanks to Joel for the great chat and the tasty cakes on the house! Laura (arg) and Laura (uy)!
C. I.
Excellent food, service, atmosphere. Not cheap but you get what you pay for... Great quality food and wine.
S. R.
Great service, wine and food. A really cool venue also; very quirky and quaint under the railway bridge.
M. J.
Ate at Lobos last night, wonderful to to be outside it felt v safe..... delish food, terrific service in spite of some idiots nearby destroying their table....staff kept their cool and continued with great service ......can't wait to come again
L. H.
Insanely good service, great little hidden location and even better food and drinks :) staff are amazing! A must visit for meat lovers Mucho Gracia's
V. I.
Good food, great atmosphere and nice and efficient stuff. It's a bit crowded but it wasn't an issue for us.
N.
A little overpriced. Also would prefer to drink my wine from a stemmed glass.
D. P.
Very nice food, good selection of tapas and quality. However the dishes are just too small for the price in my opinion
E. T.
Great ambience with friendly staff. Food is tasty but slightly expensive given the portion sizes - I would still definitely recommend!
G. T.
Excellent food, excellent service. It's small and popular so book or be prepared to wait at the bar. Worth it though.
E.
A very nice restaurant in borough market, friendly staff, a bit pricey as trendy tapas can be, high quality meat dishes but didn't blow my mind.
M. E.
One of the nicest discovery of the last months! Delicious food (octopus - simply yami!), Cool staff, good music - definitely a place to visit for a dinner from time to time
F.
Very tasty food. Very small portions though so you have to order quite a few things and it can get quite pricey
A. I.
Amazing steak - big enough for two easily. Ham is really good too. Portions are small but really worth it.
F. A.
Really enjoyed this venue! The wait staff were really friendly!!! Location is accessible from London bridge station. All in All, 5 stars
C. M.
This place is great, awesome atmosphere, staff are super friendly and helpful. You have to try the secreto iberico & mojo crisps - so tasty
S. O.
Absolutely amazing. Everything was so tasty and the service was perfect. Would be a local if I lived in London!!
b. d. l. v. b.
Although very expensive, great fresh food and amazing service ! The choices of tapas are varied, tasty and original !

W. N.
Amazing atmosphere, great service and beautiful food - both looks and taste. Great place for couples!
J. P.

Food very good and service nice. Interesting way to use space under the railway bridge, next to Burroughs market
b.
This place is authentic, the standards are excellent and never disappointing. Great stuff, professional, but mostly great food.
M. F.
We love this place. Very good quality and as a Spanish is difficult to say that about a Spanish restaurant in London. Highly recommended
N. H.
Really delicious tapas. Croquettes were amazing. Lots of meat options but less fish.
A. M.
Great food in great surroundings 😋😋😋
k. O.
Small portions for the price. Some tasty dishes, but have had better for the price. Tables quite close together.
정.
One of the best meat I've recently had! The staff said all ther materials come from Spain. I would recommend it.
C. W.
Brilliant place for dinner with your ex. Great service and food as well. She left me.
M. P.
Great food. Great service. Very reasonably priced. Would definitely go again.
C. V.
The best restaurant to eat tapas in London.
The food is very tasty and the attention is great.
I recommend it!
N. N.
The restaurant has a great atmosphere and friendly staff, however the food was only okay while the price was unreasonable high
P. S.
Nice, cool little bomb shelter vibe. As with most tapas, don't go post gym with a rage hunger or you'll wind up with a pretty hefty price tag. I seriously never learn
P.
Fabulous meal - food, wine and atmosphere all conducive to a lovely lunchtime.
R. R.
Overpriced, as all tapas bars
M. Z. M.
Very good food, tapas are very nice. Staff is super friendly!
S. G.
Great tapas place in the heart of Borough Market. Awesome selection, lovely staff - try the pork cheeks and mixed mushrooms !

D. S.
alaways solid choice! little bit pricey when you are used to spanish prices but good quality.
A. P.
Excellent food but quite aloof staff and a really dire crowd. I enjoyed my meal but not necessarily the experience
t. h.
Very nice little hidden gem, staff are great and passionate, food is great and prices also considering we r in London 😁 recommended!!!!!!
C. D.
Brilliant service, and I really mean brilliant. Only to be eclipsed by the food. Truly remarkable.

L. T.
Great tapas, every plate that we tried was amazing. The baked tetilla cheese is definitely worth trying!
S. B.
Excellent food - Anna was a great host
L. Q.
Very good Spanish restaurant. Like rib eye mixed mushrooms and seafood with garlic sauce particularly.
J. Z.
The lamb was a bit salty, and it took a bit too long for the food to arrive but other than that it wasn’t too bad
M. P.
Amazing tapas. Authentic Spanish food. Friendly service.
A. V.
Good food and good service. If you enjoy your tapas give Lobos a try!

T. P.
Lovely little restaurant opposite London Bridge station. Friendly staff, cool decor and a god selection of tapas.
Y. K.
I know tapas is small plates and I have had in Spain plenty also, but not this small for the price of a main!
I. R.
What a wonderful little gem of a place. Food is delish and staff are lovely. The sign in the ladies loo is saucy as 😂

M. S.
Lovely food and friendly service coupled with reasonable prices.

Food is tasty, but quite greasy. If you don't mind that, definitely go for it.
L. L.
Love it! Nice tapas place! Actually some are even bette than what I had in Spain
