Had a great lunch here here, food was delicious and service from Tanya was amazing!! She offered to take photos as we are here on holiday and they turned out great. If we’re ever back in the area, will definitely stop by again!

Wonderful Sunday Roast.😀 Found this restaurant as we were walking by and decided to try their Sunday Roast, so glad we did. It was delicious. I had chicken and my husband had the beef. So tender and tasty, the veg was cooked to perfection and the Yorkshire puddings served with extra gravy were great. Followed by Baclava and ice cream.Lovely. Staff very friendly and helpful,lovely setting and following COVID guidelines really well. It was a perfect meal , thank you to all at Lokanta.😀😀

We had just wondered in off the street but were pleasantly surprised to find out that we were the very first diners of this new restaurant! The décor was quite nicely done inside. We were provided with Turkish tea on the house as an opening offer. Tanya and the other staff were very helpful and attentive throughout our meal. The food was delicious!

My party & I have really become accustomed to the professionalism of Lokanta, the food & the staff. Recently we had a table of twelve & were very well looked after, to everyone's delight. It's become a regular favourite now for my business associates & family as well, my wife enjoys the extensive menu very much. It has a great vibe, making the customer feel welcome, valued, which has gone a long way with us. I've come to recommend it to quite a few friends & they too have reported nothing but favourable experiences. Special thanks to the manageress, Apple, for always making us feel welcome & special!

We discovered Lokanta while looking for somewhere to eat in Greenwich and was pleasantly surprised. Nice decor, friendly staff and good service. Firstly, great portion sizes, very generous. I enjoyed my meal more than my partner who had fish and chips (found it too oily in the end despite being very excited initially by the 3 large pieces served). I could have happily just had a bowl of the roasted vegetables (very yummy and well seasoned) and gone without the lamb (had to add salt which I never typically do tbh). I would go back as overall good value, atmosphere and food.

My family got together here for my sister's 40th birthday over the weekend. The meal I had, (mixed grill) had to be one of the tastiest Turkish meals I've had in a long time. Wonderful staff, and entertainment too. Absolutely loved the place and would most definitely return!

Visited a few days ago for lunch. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The food was great for the money and our waitress, Tanya was exceptionally kind and welcoming. She is a real "people person" and nothing was too much trouble. The outside area at the rear is also well kitted out with patio heaters. I think that area will be a joy in the summer, but equally comfortable in winter for those wanting to smoke. Will definitely return.

We stumbled across this restaurant on a walk through Greenwich. The place is beautifully decorated and the staff was very friendly (and very knowledgeable about allergies!). We had their lunch special which was well priced and the food was delicious! So happy to have found a new favorite spot in town. We will be back soon! A fantastic find! We chose to eat in the attractive covered courtyard to the rear of the restaurant. Both the food and the service were faultless, and our meal was very good value. Outstanding service at Lokanta!! The food is superb!!! The restaurant is spotlessly clean and the waitresses are super efficient, friendly and will go out of their way to ensure that everything is to your liking. We were welcomed into the restaurant by the lovely Tanya. We have never met such a kind, considerate, and more welcoming lady!!! Nothing is too much trouble for Tanya to make you feel welcome. I cannot recommend this restaurant and Tanya and her team highly enough!! This is a gem of a find in Greenwich and we will definitely be back!! Thank you!!

Our trip to Greenwich was complete. Only time for a brief visit as on a schedule to see the Painted Hall but the welcome was warm, the food more than adequate and very well cooked and a bottle of Turkish wine was a delightful surprise. As you would expect, by the sea, (well nearly!) their fish was excellent and plentiful. The baklava fresh and syrupy. Service very attentive and a wholly enjoyable experience. Oh, I nearly forgot not too expensive. Enjoy when you are there.

Had a really wonderful Lunch at Lokanta today, we were served by the wonderful Tania and she was nothing but incredibly helpful and friendly. She even allowed us to bring our small dog into the restaurant which was an absolute bonus. I am surprised to read a review stating the service charge goes to the owners as I was assured this was not the case, in fact was told that the service charge was split at the end of each month among all staff. The food was delicious, will definitely be returning.

The previous review is despicable. The Restaurant has a team of probably 12 staff. They only employ one white person. If they are gonna be accused of being racists about ethnic minorities then this previous person must be deluded. It’s the best restaurant in Greenwich by a mile and my family and I love it (I am black too) try it for yourself and see.

What a great little find!! This Turkish restaurant has only been open for 6 weeks. The interior is stylish, clean and welcoming. We visited for lunch on 29 October and were served by the lovely Tanya whose service was impeccable. She looked after us incredibly well and joined in with some banter!! Between the four of us we ordered halloumi, lentil soup and a sausage starter - all were amazing. Mains included chicken shish, curry and fish. Everything was cooked to perfection. Next time we are in Greenwich we will return!!

We went in during a wander around Greenwich because we wanted to try something different and we were so glad we did. Really delicious, beautifully presented food in stylish surroundings and excellent service from our welcoming and knowledgeable host Tanya. Our starters were grilled halloumi and the prawn (big prawns, not those little prawn cocktail things) & avocado salad, whilst our mains were the pan-fried seabass & Iskender grilled chicken. Everything was cooked to perfection and so fresh. We finished with Turkish coffees and Turkish delight. Prices were also very reasonable and portions generous. The meal was the perfect end to our first trip to London for a couple of years and as we usually stay not too far from Greenwich when in London would certainly go back - this is what eating out should be like! Highly recommended.

This place is a gem. The interior is stunning, service is first and class and food was well done. The wine selection was really good and there is a really cool shisha garden in the back. Great services the food here is amazing and the staff and management here are incredibly polite warm and welcoming to their customers to all cultures and ethnical backgrounds all sitting down eating together as multicultural society plus its also family friendly they treat you so well like your a family member, this is a 10/10 restaurant and highly recommend anyone to revisit for such a wonderful atmosphere and the food which is to die for also if you enjoy doing shisha the flavours here are Superb!!

What an amazing find - we were celebrating our friends birthday around 20 of us was so well looked after. The atmosphere was excellent with the music and belly dancing and then they even accommodated us by allowing some Afro beats music and we danced and partied the night away. Awesome cocktails, first class service and mouthwatering food. What a fantastic addition to the once poor dining scene of Greenwich. Plz give us more of these type of restaurant's and less candy shops, kaspas and typical budget high street trash. Awesome place - good luck to you guys your now our fave in greenwich amazing !

Quite surprised by the high ratings, unless this is because of the atmosphere & staff, which is nice, rich looking &friendly. Downside are the food portions are not of a typical Turkish restaurant, taste nothing special& service was extremely slow.

Well what do I say, modern take on Turkish cuisine! Was greeted and waited on by Tanya who catered to our needs. Service with a smile and professionalism. We had the lunch time menu which is good value for money especially the area we were in, £15 for lentil soup which was delicious and the chicken shish was tender and moist. If in Greenwich, definitely a place to go and visit, you won't be disappointed!
