Reviews of London House - Gordon Ramsay
n.
It is a really good restaurant with a range of well thought-out dishes representing a healthy and stable British cuisine. The service is okay and the atmosphere is relaxed. There is a lovely small garden area in the back which is relatively quiet if you come early. I'm giving 3 stars because of their generally high prices, for example fish pie is £26. I would expect more interesting flavours and dishes for an average of £40 per person excluding drinks. My recommendation would be to either offer high quality all round dishes like a fish pie for good value for money or climb up to fine dining level with the current pricing. Overall, it's a restaurant with an identity crisis offering decent food for those who don't mind paying.

Came here due to receiving a gift voucher which we had major problems redeeming (Was told they’re having this issue regularly at the moment). The starters and desserts were great, both our mains were very average though. As with all the buyagift food experiences, you get offered a very limited menu with no chance to pay a supplement for something from the main menu. Didn’t enjoy the dining experience.

We visited London House for dinner on a Saturday while lockdown rules only allowed for outdoor dining. The food was excellent and we were warm next to the heaters. I suspect the tables in the garden at the back are quieter than the tables next to the road where we sat, but we still enjoyed the experience and were so happy just to be able to go out. I hope to visit again when indoor dining is allowed.

Food was good as to be expected. For where the restaurant is located I thought prices were reasonable as well. Pictures are of the Hiramasa Kingfish Crudo for starter and the Harissa Roasted Cauliflower for mains.

Such a lovely family lunch here on Sunday. We took our little one who's 14 months right now for his first Sunday Roast and the children's menu really didn't disappoint. His chicken breast was poached so beautifully and he ate every bite of it! Only critique was that the chips that were served alongside his main were a tad too salty. I think they were meant for the adult meals. Other than that, our roast lamb was just melt in the mouth divine! Definitely heading back for another meal :-)

The food was decent, and there is nothing wrong with this place... but it just doesn't impress. It lacks what the great man himself always says is crucial: a consistent concept which is in keeping with the area. The place is torn between being a casual gastropub and a fine dining experience.

Really lovely restaurant, gorgeous food ! Loved it here.

My boyfriend took me there for our anniversary meal and he has reserved the chef's table. We were sat literally in the kitchen and could see the Head Chef Ben and his amazing staff preparing every single dish from the 6-course menu with lots attention. Everyone was great from the moment we entered the restaurant to the moment we left. We had wine tasting with every dish. The wine selection was great as well as the menu. I have never seen such a clean kitchen in use in my life. Everything was spotless, almost clinical. The food was delicious, the staff attentive, the atmosphere perfect. What else could one want?
B. L. W.
Perfect venue for anyone looking to get married in London. Great food and staff. Perfect for a medium size wedding. I photographed there recently and would highly recommend it. And the intimate garden at the back is just perfect for photos!

My husband and I had a lovely gift experience at London House Battersea. We both had a fab roast dinner of beef and lamb a scrummy pudding and a latte coffee to finish off our meal!! Very tasty. A very chilled atmoshere inside. Tentative polite staff. All in all we had a great time.

We had an excellent weekday night dinner with one of the restaurant's seasonal menus (£23 for 3 courses and a cocktail). The atmosphere is that of an upscale modern gastropub with separate areas for dining. Chicken liver parfait with chutney and brioche was delicious, closely followed by the smoked salmon salad with beetroot and fennel. The fish, 'risotto' and chicken kiev mains were all also very good. Then desserts marked another highlight with burnt cream in a wide shallow French-style dish and a very good version of sticky toffee pudding. The fact that children eat free is another bonus - they also have very tasty and healthy food served to them (we ended up finishing her dishes too). We found that service was exceptional with the staff accommodating all requests and entertaining our 3-year-old child. I would like to single out Alan, the manager on the night we visited, who was the best host I have encountered at any restaurant in London (including the flagship Gordon Ramsay restaurant).
C. F.
Our party of four spent a wonderful evening here tonight; with fantastically cooked and presented dishes. The serving crew are attentive and professional. The recommendation of pork belly with coleslaw without using mayo; just shredded apple; cabbage and onion, was great. The triple fried chips and seasonal greens were great complement to the dish. The sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream and lemon grass cheese cake were both delicious without being overly sweet. Highly recommended!
S. K.
One of the finest restaurant in Sloane Square.
C. F.
Food was excellent, service was brilliant and Donna our waitress was entertaining and even during this time all around out of this woulrd. We will be back. Throughly enjoyed are time.
K. W.
Food is absolutely delicious, great atmosphere and conscientious service. Great for children too, brilliant kids menu, and kids eat for free! Highly recommended

I could sum it up in one.......... AWESOME,
But I'd still like to say what a fabulous experience. From entering the restaurant to leaving it was a totally brilliant experience
We had a roast dinner Sunday lunch, and what a good portion it was. The chicken, roast potatoes, carrots, broccoli, kale, braised red cabbage and not to mention the huge Yorkshire pudding all tasted the best we had ever had.
The service was excellent, professional, helpful with good conversation, true professionals. If you've never been, you're missing out. Thank you London house for a truly great eating experience.😊.
Ps, the congratulations lemon posset and short bread was a joy to eat. Very refreshing. 😀. Thank you once again.

I have to thank vimal and roberta for the service at this restaurant. My first day in the UK was celebrated by going to this restaurant. I feel like the price was perfect for what I paid for. The scotch cocktail was unlike anything I've ever had and was evenly mixed as far as flavors in my opinion. The chicken still baffles me to how I feel but I only have positive words to say. This meal was fantastic!
A. W.
We held our wedding reception here. Stephanie (Wedding Business Development and Events manager) from the Gordon Ramsey Restaurants group was incredible, as were the staff at London House (a special shout out to restaurant manager Max too). They all went above and beyond to ensure we had the best day possible and we’ll undoubtedly be back to dine there more in future.
B. G.
Cozy place with great food. I had probably the best fish & chips ever. The service is great. We had a small remark and the staff immediately corrected it and even gave us a desert from the house
I. D. O.
The food is good. The setting is nice, especially in the garden. It just didn't wow me in any way.
Nothing was bad, but nothing was great.
F. K.
Good food in nice restaurant. The food is at a good quality and very tasty. Main downside is the service which seriously need a push in the right direction, the majority of the waiters are generally doing well, but the are not very good at checking in with guest if you need something else, I was waiting 15 min to get hold of someone so I could order a drink in a empty restaurant
T. R.
Excellent friendly service, nothing to fault at all after several visits. Food regularly high quality and well presented, very tasty meat selection. Secret garden is compact but friendly. Well worth a visit if in the area
E. K.
The menu is promising, but execution doesn't match the pricing. The personnel were nice and welcoming, but getting the food as well as changing the plates took time. We had rib eyes, cesar salad and duck that were "okay" but nothing more. Great location, opportunity for a good place, but doesn't deliver.
L. L.
Amazing food, incredible & attentive service. For the quality and the name attached to it the prices were extremely justified. Cannot wait to eat here again.
H. M.
We came for anniversary dinner and it was lovely- the drinks were well priced and the food was amazing ! We we're very impressed with the overall experience including the special service we received. Highly recommend !
J. S.
Beautiful food, lovely staff, very welcoming.
We will be back for another shot of the set menu.
Photos include starters and desserts - we all had barvette steak for mains and we forgot to take photos because it looked so inviting we just ploughed in.
C. S.
Just brilliant, the staff are incredibly happy to help and the service was exceptional. My family of 5 went for my sons 14th birthday and enjoyed everything about the restaurant. My only wish is that I wish there were more of these restaurants. The pizza was fresh and hot.
T. L.
Best Caesar salad I've ever had. Every other dish I saw being brought out by waiters gave me food envy too. Great food. Great service. Happy days.
W. M.
Superb meal. Very rare to eat at a restaurant that nails absolutely every aspect. Beautiful food, attentive staff without being overbearing and still excellent value for money.
M. W.
Amazing food is an understatement. The staff are amazing and the chilled atmosphere let's you relax and enjoy some quality food.
P. R.
Staff very kind and helpful. The dishes were of the highest standards. You can go there without fear. You will have a great experience.
S. M.
Food is absolutely amazing. The famous Beef Wellington lived up to my high expectations
Y. B.
Great service. Good food and did a little something extra for someone's birthday, so that was nice! There outside garden is really cute
M. B.
The prosecco was generous at the bottomless brunch. The brunch offering good have been more generous though. Still, lovely food in a nice setting.
J. R.
The restaurant is ok, customer service is very good as well. Unfortunately the food is not the best. I ordered chicken Caesar salad(I wanted something light) and it came with a deep fried fillet. Neither my husband and my mother in law were impressed by their dishes.
C. P.
London House hosted our small personal event, and it was exceptional. A beautiful space in the outdoor garden, wonderful service, delicious food, and really attentive preparations from their team. We had an amazing time.
B. P.
Ok so Gordon's, went here for my daughter's 21st. Looking at the menu this is on the expensive side but we were properly greeted and the place is roomy with good size table. Waitress was genuinely nice, very friendly and made the evening easy and pleasant. The food was good but 1 meal arrived with cold mash. The wine was good and properly chilled. Dessert was good but not overly so. One big issue was the restaurant was cold. A door at the rear was left open which was a pity. Otherwise we enjoyed the meal and evening. Several items on the menu were not available.
H. V.
For the name the restaurant carries and the price for what you get, one would be right to expect a great meal and experience. This did not happen. The service was mediocre, the food was average, nothing noteworthy. The meal wasn't bad simply not memorable. They did not have 2 of the wines on the list by the glass, which seems basic. For the money, I feel a better experience can be had at many other London area restaurants.
L. B.
We booked a table for half 7 and ordered from the Love January menu. I was amazed by the selection, value and quality we had.
2 courses for 2 people £30 with an option to add a desert for £5 each, which we did.
I had a ceaser salad to start and my husband the parsnip soup.
Delicious.
For mains I had the sea bass and my husband the pork belly.
It was perfect for us but you might want to order a side to share.
We finished off with 2 sticky toffee puddings. Our lovely waiter Pat told us it was Gordon's favourite.
Wine starts at £9.50 a glass and the choices were very good.
We had wanted to visit for a while but was worried it might be over priced glorified pub grub.
No need to worry anymore.
Can't wait to go back and order the lamb.
We are also booking the Lucky Cat in Mayfair on Pat's recommendation.
S. J.
Make sure when you book, ask to be seated in the garden. It's a hidden gem back there and usually get fully booked in advance.
K. A.
Great staff, nice atmosphere, good food, wonderful wine. Love going to this place! Very dog friendly.
N. H.
Lovely food and nice interior. More on the pricey side but the service and food are great! Try the duck salad!
D. M.
Lovely setting and really attentive staff. A fairly compact and simple menu but super tasty food! They even brought out a happy birthday cake for my dads 60th on the day. A tad expensive but very enjoyable and would recommend!
J. C.
Tried the Love January menu this afternoon. Poor value for money - food was fine - but very small portions - no bread for the soup starter - tiny portion of gnocchi as a main. perhaps if you dine a la carte it may be different. Wouldn’t recommend which is a shame.
B. M.
Expected more, even for the Love London 2 courses for two people for £30. Burger was good but a little greasy, pasta Vietnamese pork carbonara didn't work together. It's nice enough and the starter (beetroot fennel salad) and dessert (doughnuts and pavlova) were nice but the mains were just not quite up to expectations.
T. B.
Garden is an unexpected haven. Food now firmly back on form after a dip. You won't eat a better chicken Kiev 😉
H. G.
This was an amazing experience. The staff accommodated my party of seven (including 3 very hungry children) earlier than the official reservation time.
I was so so grateful for how amazingly attentive the staff were. The food was, as always excellent. My children loved the food and have already asked to go back next week! I would definitely dine here again.
Thank you to the amazing staff for being amazing :)
p. s.
Ok service, food is average & expensive. Wine list is good and location is perfect for after work
B. J.
Never had a bad meal here. Staff are friendly and attentive, food is fresh and delicious and the wine list and cocktails are even better. Leave room for dessert! The garden out back is great in the summer!
M. L.
Expected a well executed meal with quality ingredients Got roast beef full of sinew (which is the worst when eating beef), overly sweet carrots,really?...and mediocre yorkshire pud, which really looked ( they were all identical) catered in. My fellow guests had oily fish., and good pork belly. But really.. the cheese was good and biscuits awful.
I go into such detail as we are all visitors to the UK .This was a special and we expected so much more. A great let down.
C. B.
Was OK.. We ate quote early circ a 6:30pm as we were going to an event nearby, the restaurant was empty or so we thought, when we were seated we were sat practically in the lap of two other diners! The only other two in there at that hour. Seriously, the whole restaurant was empty and you sit us there!!! Come on! The food was ok... Nothing overly exciting, with that said our waitress was helpful, I have a lactose intolerance and she really was very attentive and helpful. I think the Gordan Ramsey name sets higher expectations!
G. M.
We had a great time. Went for a brunch on Sunday (7.07.19) . It was a birthday celebration for a friend and we took our two young children with us. Chiara was a great host and made us very welcome and accommodated any of our requests. The food was really good and we will definitely return again. Instead of the 1 1/2 hours booked we spent 4 hours there. Only downside of the day was that Holland lost the final in the World Cup. But we can't blame Gordon and his team for that. Thank you, and see you again. G.
E. W.
One of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had. The food was delicious and the staff was very thoughtful with a few surprises for my husband and I when we dined here for our wedding anniversary. Highly recommend!!
G. S.
Last night in London with my wife and 2 daughters. This was a fantastic way to end our vacation. Everything we expected it would be. Cozy, comfortable, lovely host and wait staff. Food was the best we had all week.
P. T.
The food was very nice, I really enjoyed it but it was ruined by the extremely poor service. For a restaurant of this caliber and price. the lack of service was totally unacceptable. We ordered a bottle of wine that was put in an ice bucket and kept by the bar and nowhere near our table but the staff didn't bother to serve it to us and didn't refresh our glass. We had to keep asking which was ridiculous. As I've said such a shame as the food is good.
B. B.
Best meal I have ever had in my entire life. I ordered a steak with gnocchi and spinach. I came here a while ago so this may not be on the menu currently. I am a guy who personally hates spinach but when I tried this spinach, I loved it and the curry sauce complimented the spinach too. The steak was so tender and the gnocchi had a nice stew inside and the outside was golden. Add going to this restaurant to your bucket list.
J. H.
Just walked by with my girlfriend and decided to go inside on a whim after flying to Britain. It was hands down the single most enjoyable culinary experience of our entire lives. Everything from the decor to the serving staff to the food and drinks was off the charts fantastic! If I could give them 10 stars out of 5 I would.
J. M.
Relaxed and comfortable setting, but high quality. I had a virgin cocktail which was packed with flavour, and food that was very nicely done. Soup starter and croquets were fabulous. Fish main was vrry good, if not amazing, and the desert was perfect. All round highly recommended. Only 4 stars as we ate earlier than most, and seemed to be forgotten towards the end of our meal.
R. M.
Was expecting so much more. Service I felt was slow, though when it came it was attentive and polite. The food and I had the half chicken was cooked to perfection but left a too salty after taste for my liking. My son had Tue onglet and he was impressed, so perhaps it was just a bad choice on my part. A faster service though would help.
S. P.
Amazing! What a great dining experience! Best food of our entire trip. Friendly courteous staff, very nice ambiance, though, unassuming building and location. Definitely worth visiting for fine dining at a reasonable price.
C. M.
Absolutely worthy to go to that place! Just one comment, add a bit more flavour to the kids meal. My 2YO daughter eat from my dish instead of hers. Overall delicious. Thanks, spot on!
S. M.
Went for my daughters birthday and we were really looked after by all the team
C. H. B.
Top Class Service at its finest. The set three-course menu is a bit challenging to navigate for Vegans as all the dishes contain meat, fish and/or dairy, but it's a true gem of a place with delightful drink and wine options as well. I cannot fault it in the slightest; the decor is stunning and we were treated like royalty all evening.
D. H. G.
Went for brunch on a Sunday and absolutely loved the flavour and texture of the eggs benedict and the eggs royale we had. Heritage tomato salad was glorious with very fresh fragrant tomatoes and a dazzling simple dressing. The service was kind but was a bit confused at times. Still, a very good experience.
b.
Great staff , good menu reasonably priced food.
S. L.
Amazing food and lovely service.
L. K.
Great wine selection, lovely terrace and comfortable indoors seating. Great service.
L. M.
Restaurant and bar half empty yet the staff are snapping at each other and being rude to each other behind the bar. Sat alone at the bar waiting to be asked if I’d like a drink (was clearly waiting for one) yet completely ignored for 15 minutes. Someone else walks up and the staff actually tell him they’re “really busy” and he should expect a wait for his order! Someone else’s finished drinks left on the bar for 20 minutes. Not what I expected.
m. s.
Everything on the menu is great and not too expensive given what it is. The staff were a couple of minutes late bringing out one dish, not a big deal, we didn't even comment. They told us the dish would be on the house. 5 stars all around!
D. W.
Great place with fantastic service. We went on Christmas Day for dinner and everyone was very nice and accommodating. We didn't have a reservation and wanted to just set st the bar and get a drink since we had just flown in from the USA. The manager worked something out for us and made our trip and Christmas extra special.
M. H.
Lovely early evening meal here with the kids. Memorable rump steak. Tilly's meatballs and sausages and mash went down a treat. Friendly service too. Coming back next summer for the Secret Garden.
A. M.
Took advantage of their "Love January" offer of two courses (from a table d'hôte menu) for two people for £30.
Jerusalem artichoke soup with sourdough croutons was quite splendid - exactly the right thickness, smooth and creamy and - because it was adequately salted during cooking - very flavoursome. Some good stock must have gone into it
My companion's ham hock terrine was rather solid and tasted of, well . . . ham.
Cider-cooked mussels were perhaps a shade on the simple side, served with wafer-thin apple slices - no onions, no garlic. I prefer marinière. And, as a main course, I could have done with half a dozen more.
I had a taste of my companion's beetroot risotto with stilton. A colourful and strangely successful experiment. A better choice than the mussels.
We indulged in desserts (£5 extra each). My own choice, the crême brulée, was the best I have ever had in a restaurant: sugar crust exactly the right thickness and with the right degree of caramelisation, the custard magnificently unctuous and discreetly flavoured with (I guess) nutmeg and possibly cinnamon - or even allspice? Companion's sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream was also exemplary. STP can be a real challenge. This was a pleasure.
Did not look at the main wine list, choosing the cheapest wine from the wines of the week - a well-made and extremely drinkable Spanish rosado, very slightly off dry, which was a happy accompaniment to our food.
One slightly jarring note was that my companion, who arrived first, ordered a glass of red wine (shiraz) from the bar. It cost £12, which is pushing it a bit anyway, and it had evidently become oxidised in the winemaking process, which destroyed its shiraz character. It was not a pleasure to drink, especially at that price.
The restaurant itself is smart and there is plenty of space between the tables. A pleasant place to spend an evening.
R. D.
Very tasty food but not much choice with the set manu and had to pay more for the side dishes .
M. K.
Generally a great place but last time the service failed miserably. No water refill, at least 45min between courses and no one asked us if we would care for another bottle of wine once the first was gone. We gave up half way through the tasting menu, paid and left the restaurant. Shame for a place with this reputation and price level.
B. Z.
Really enjoy the food with excellent service. The pumpkin soup is " parfait ". Nice quality of food. Just love it. Definitely worth it. Will be back. I appreciate Max who is really a nice guy
R. N.
A good relaxed place for a drink or meal. Had the smoked salmon with scrambled eggs and it was very good. Small portions for my standard but is good if you're looking for not a heavy meal.
K. H.
A fancy restaurant with a friendly atmosphere.
The website wasn't great but I booked lunch here for four people with no issue. When we arrived we were greeted by a selection of lovely staff members and shown to a really good table.
The decor is spacious and modern, giving you the impression of privacy, though I can imagine it get's busier in the evenings.
The staff continued to be courteous throughout. Our waiter never strayed too far from the table, dipping in silently every now and again to wipe crumbs off the cloth or refill the wine but he never stayed close enough to eavesdrop of make anybody uncomfortable.
We were offered two menus for lunch: the du jour (Two courses £23 or three for £28) or the main lunch menu (Two courses £33 or three for £38). There were about four options on each menu including a vegatarian dish. I opted for the Onion Tart (which had a far fancier name) which came with Autumnel vegetables. It was alright, 3 out of 5. Then for dessert I ordered the Lemon Posset which came with an oatcake and vanilla cream - this was to die for, 5 out of 5. Though the portions looked small, I did leave feeling full.
The wine list was huge and since we had no experts on the table we asked for a recommendation. The waiter was able to make suggestions based on what types of drink we enjoy (dry, light, fruity, etc). The bottle we settled on did cost £40 but was the best I have ever tasted.
All in all, I would not come here routinely due to the expense but it works well for those with a bigger budget or if you want to schmooze somebody on a special occassion.
M. R. V.
Very nice, the service was very good and the food quite tasty. The side dishes were a bit better that the main course, but overall a good experience. Customer service is top notch here.
M. A.
Ate there last night and it was fantastic! The Beef fillet with potato gnocchi was hands down one of the best dishes I've eaten in quite a while. Great service, excellent food, good wine selection.
C. A.
Staff although very nice conveyed a confused mentality(didn't seem to understand what JD and Coke was). Starters were up to a high standard that is expected however no ketchup for a 4 year old. Main course although amazing was a little delayed. Overall a great place to have boxing day lunch.
J. A.
Loved the environment, expected more from the fish and chips. Service started well and disappeared. We had to go to the bar to pay the bill. Television expectation verses reality!!
P. K.
Went for Saturday brunch with family. 3 of the 5 dishes arrived, then a ridiculous wait for the remaining two. As it was a birthday, ordered some fizz, which got shaken to death by the waiter as he tried to ram it into the ice bucket.
R. S.
The full English breakfast was well executed but not particularly special nor special. I visited for a function and the acoustics were notably poor: with all the hard surfaces the full room became uncomfortably loud and conversation was difficult. Good for a quiet meals but I would avoid for functions.
S. J.
Didnt think it looked like a top end restaurant just a glory fied pub?
The food we had was very nice but just paying for the name above the door!
Ive had better food at Miller&carter for half the price!
L. C.
Food and experience exceeded my expectations, I also didn’t expect it to be child-friendly but it was. We will certainly be returning.
C. B.
Great food, small menu selection, but beautifully prepared and presented. God friendly service, managed to park close by. Will be going again!
F. F.
Definitely recommend it!!! From the amazing service given by Massimiliano, to the incredibly tasty food, everything was absolutely incredible. The place has a lovely atmosphere, that makes you feel that you are in one of those english movies! We will come back!
S. B.
Amazing food and great atmosphere
S.
I went to the GR London House to celebrate my birthday. Service was great and food was superb. I even got a little suprise for my birthday! Lovely experience. Thank you!
N. V. R.
What an amazing experience...food and dessert were delicious. However the waitress and host was a bit offish with our table...but other then that I can't complain.
L.
Customer service is great 10/10. As for the food, mediocre. My gnocchi was underwhelming and my sisters fish and chips was incredibly bland.
Σ. Κ.
There is no words to describe the hospitality of the service that gives you and the taste of food that you will very difficult find in London. There is hard to find another place to compare food like that. Bravo to the chef manager and the whole team. Good job👌👌
E. P.
Very good food not overpriced for what it is and the staff is some of the nicest I've met
The decor and 'vibe' could be better but also I was there on a weekday at 1840 or so, therefore not as busy
A. B.
It was ok, staff were nice but the food for the price was only ok.
H. H.
A great little restaurant by Gordon Ramsay. Nice restaurant bit but also a little "pub"section in one end so you don't need to book a table. Could do with a few more beers on tap.
J. W.
Surprisingly good value, unsurprisingly good food. The staff are extremely well trained and go out of their way to strike a rapport. Unexpectedly, this is a good place to watch live sport too.
K. P.
Went there for my birthday dinner. It was a Sunday dinner menu, the food was great and staff very friendly. I got a brownie as a birthday gift from a restaurant as well.
M. B. I. a.
I'm a fan of chef Ramsey and his TV shows. Good quality food but the menu was a little pretentious and over the top. Still tasty though, need to try again.
C. B.
Lovely food and drink, noisy patrons which did leave us having to talk loudly to be heard
j. h.
Great food, not elaborate but beautifully balanced flavours with standard portions. Staff attentive but give you space. Highly recommended.
P. W.
Great quality food but at a price (and not much of it). Definitely recommend it for a special occasion though. If portions were bigger then would be a definite 4*
B. H.
Lovely casual and intimate restaurant and bar. Food was delicious and the service was friendly and efficient. Next time we're booking into the Secret Garden. Would recommend.
D. B.
Top notch. Place is pristine. Valuable prices for the quality that you're getting. Food is the best that you can find and no wonder cause it's Gordon Ramsays restaurant!
j. t.
Would have loved some music, flat atmosphere... the food is not impressive either
W. K.
Friendly staff, and great food
P. C.
No cheese boards available at all who ever you are..
L. K.
They have converted this place to a gastro pub. So be aware it's not the same gourmet restaurant it used to be. Decent burgers and pub food but not really worth the money if you don't catch one of their promotions.
H. R.
Lovely restaurant in a beautiful part of london. The coffee here is outstanding and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a visit.
V. S.
Ok food but underwhelming, particularly given price. Staff were very nice but took 30mins to bring our drinks.
F. M.
I really enjoyed rating here. It is well worth the money. The foot was beautifully prepared, sophisticated but not excessively and it still maintained more traditional touches. The service was impeccable.

My first experience at London House ..was pleasant ....everything was perfect ...a great manager....he was everywhere ...looking.after the restaurant and customers....,Congratulations you work so.hard !....apart from what I mentioned...our meals and starters ...where lovely I.would definitely come back ....they have a secret garden as well ...where you.can relax in.the sunny days ....I.would definitely recommend !
j. m.
Very over priced for what is fundamentally pub food. The food was cooked to a high standard but the menu failed to surprise rather than doing anything truly interesting with the old favourites on offer.

Great meal lovely staff

Amazing place, very good service and best peppercorn sauce I have ever taste. You may wait little bit more to food preparation but it's worth how long you wait.
G. J.
The bar area is nice and has a great atmosphere- the restaurant has great food but lacks a bit in ambiance. Also quite expensive.
N.
Good steak, but that shouldn't be difficult for Mr Ramsay. However if you want to eat and drink in the dullest, blandest room that ticks all the boxes for the wrong reasons then this is your place.
D. H.
The food was divine and presented beautifully. Good service. Would definitely return for dinner!
N. S.
Great food and atmosphere in a charming neighborhood. Wish I had had more time to lounge on their big comfy sofas in the bar.

First time in a Gordon Ramsay restaurant and I would expect more , food was normal , nothing special . I would say that for one time its ok . Service was ok .
A. K.
(Translated) Quite disappointing. Great service: it was Christmas Eve, lunch, Local virtually deserted, but the manageress and waitresses are friendly and very fast. The food arrived after 20 minutes, so go very well. However, we had booked the special Christmas menu and it was not offered to us, the same thing that happened last year at York & Albany, another Ramsay restaurant. Is it their policy? Food ok, but nothing special. Fried chicken with mashed potatoes and apple crumble, I eat it everywhere. Rather high prices. Not even a complimentary chocolate even though it was Christmas Eve.
(Original)
Piuttosto deludente.

(Translated) Wonderful place to dine very well in London, yes, at London prices. You can't say it's cheap, but dining in London is never cheap, unless you eat pizza, sandwiches or fish and chips in some cheap pub. In London House there is a very pleasant and refined atmosphere, the treatment is exquisite and the decoration is very pleasant.

Small flat .. it would be nice if in a restaurant of this level there is someone who speaks French, if only to translate certain dishes from the menu
