This is not our first time having dinner at Los Molinos. It’s probably one of the best Spanish tapas places in London. The staff are extremely friendly and feels very homey and a little family run. The food menu is also extensive with lots to choose from. The food was nicely portioned for sharing and tasted really good and delicious. Highly recommend visiting and trying anything on the menu!

If you are looking for an authentic Spanish restaurant which does not dilute it's heritage then look no further. I came here with my wife for a dinner date and we were not disappointed. The restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere, clearly family run and well maintained. It has a authentic Spanish feel and I did not feel like I was in the middle of London. Drinks wise, they had a wide range of wine and Spanish beers also. Wide range of Spanish dishes available staying true to roots of the cuisine. We ordered a range of dishes: - Olives: Not overpowering but great introduction to the meal. Good olives and super tasty. - Ham croquetes: The spicy aioli which was paired with these was amazing. The croquetes themselves were not greasy at all and full of flavour. - Octopus: Okay, but too oily and potentially overcooked. Not a pleasant feeling in the mouth and was disappointed to say the least. - Prawn: These were deveined which is something more restaurants need to do, big thumbs-up from me. Juicy, flavourful, and I would recommend these to anyone who enjoys prawns. - Artichokes: Even though these are fried they were also not greasy and had a nice gentle flavour. Lovely and creamy. - Stew: Flavourful, filling. The black pudding had a nice spice and the combination of flavours was a lovely addition to the meal. - Paella: Light, good lemon added to add acidity. Ingredients fresh and flavourful. Overall, a good implementation of the classic dish. By the end of the meal we were full and had a great night. The toilets were clean which is another attention to detail which is appreciated. The service we received was pleasant and engaging. Our waitress offered us a free limoncello / hazelnut liqueur shot at the end of the meal and she also helped us with Spanish pronunciation of the menu. She clearly enjoyed working with people and made our meal a very pleasant experience. Overall 4.5/5 - everything in the restaurant was great but the Octopus was sadly a disappointment. The service was excellent however and you will be made to feel very welcome when you come here.

This is a very comfortable family restaurant decor s very warm. Its like dining in someone's big living room. Service was a bit on the slow side, however staff were very polite and friendly. Food is superb. I particularly recommend the pork loin in Pepper sauce or the cheese and spinach croquettes. We had around 9 different dishes served tapas style with everyone sharing. A great dining experience.

Delicious torta de Santiago. Perfect coffe. Food wise, not too bad, particularly if choosing the goats cheese croquettes and chorizo and prawn. The artichokes were ok, Patatas brava too as well, only they needed a bit more intense flavouring.

As always, it’s a lovely place to go, I’ve been 3 times already the last month! Service is prompt and portions are generous. Nothing is wasted because everything is delicious. Good prices as well, for £30 you get a very good meal for 2 with 2 drinks. You can even park on the street next to it.

Update 26.03.2022 Visited again after nearly 4 years... Would I visit again? YES, definitely. And not want another four years. Was the food delicious? ABOLUTELY, honestly the best Tapas we had in London. Price-performance ratio: EXCELLENT, Los Molinos isn't one of the wallet ripping pseudo tapas spots like "Tapas Room" or mass franchise. There persons with wine for 110 GBP is definitely possible. Service style: FAMILY style, the service is lovely old school, orders are written on paper, your order.is delivered by a cook on a big tablet, hot and fresh. Atmosphere: COSY & LIVELY, genuine, authentic. What shall I say. Obviously we like it. :) Comments: we had Bacalao croquettws Squid in black ink Lodead Nachos Grilled Manchego Rabbit Canarian style Bocerones (squid fried) Chocolate souffle with vanilla ice cream Two 200ml Cava 2 Glas white wine Every dish was delicious, generously portioned. Btw, if you consider to order a bottle of wine. The standard price is betwwe. 20 and 30 GBP. Nice Spanish Tapas restaurant in Shepard busy. Each dish, Paella, Boccarones, Cod Croquettes, Canarian style rabbit...was nice. 4 persons 87 £ incl. two quarter bottle cava and coffee. Strong recommendation.

Mediocre tapas at below average price. The atmosphere of the restaurant is great - tables are close to each other with service and decor creating a cosy but loud atmosphere. The food consists of typical tapas as well as some less authentic options like beef stroganoff or nachos. I found the quality of the ingredients to be quite low - in particular the cheese plate was very basic and croquettes seemed frozen or pre-made. The warm dishes were okay but nothing special.

Small and homey establishment serving 100% genuine and delicious Spanish dishes. The pulpo a la gallega is so soft and tasty, it takes you straight to A Coruna's market. The other dishes we tried were great too. (Only the pan con tomate falls short of Catalan standards, still very nice). The bill is not "dolorosa" at all: great value for money.

We had a really great experience, friendly waiter, quick service and super menu. We had two sorts of croquettes (try the ham one), meatballs, fishcakes and tortilla. Very tasty and surprisingly filling, you won't leave hungry here. Their olives are very delicious and they also have good cider. Good prices for what you get, definitely recommend to go here.

Yesterday my husband and I enjoyed a perfect luxurious lunch in Los Molinos that I want to repeat without delay. After living in Spain, and before the COVID crisis, returning there frequently what I have most missed is the warmth of the people I know there, especially those in the hospitality sector and the marvelous uplifting of the food, where un buen plato casero can turn your day around. It certainly can in Los Molinos, where the impecable and friendly service and the delicious, well prepared food combine to great a wonderful environment of joy and delight. I loved every tapa we ordered, and can especially recommend las alcachofas, el conejo and la fabada asturiana, amar es para siempre, de verdad. Thank you to all involved, Andrew and I loved being with you, feliz Navidad and we´ll be back. I hope that you´re open on 6 January because I can´t think of a better place to celebrate the day of los Reyes Magos

Well. Let's put it this way. group of 4 We ate so much that we all complained that we felt sick. The food was nice and the portion were just right. This is my favourite Spanish restaurant I've been in the UK. Every time we go to London, we try to have a dinner there. Not only the menu is delicious, but quite broad as well. That normally leads to order more food than what we can actually eat, but you have to! They also serve Estrella Galicia, which is a nice Spanish beer as well. Moreover, the ambient, decorations and staff make you feel like if you actually were in Spain.

our favourite tapas joint in West London! we tried it one evening for a quick dinner, and we keep coming back since. The food is amazing, from croquetas to fish and seafood, from beef and pork to the veggies. There is wine for all tastes and prices in the list, and sangria is also delicious. The staff is friendly, professional, nice and polite, and prices are reasonable. Try once and you'll always come back!

The service is excellent, the setting is quaint and comfortable, and works well for both intimate dinner and groups. The food is excellent and always well prepared. The Galician peppers are a big hit, and the patatas bravas are the best I've ever had. Grilled or fried dishes appear to always be prepared fresh and I almost always order seconds for the tuna. Wine selection is pretty good, and it all works very well together. I highly recommend this neighbourhood gem, it has now become one of my regulars.

Possibly our most favorite little place to eat tapas outside of Spain... lovely little family restaurant serves up a fantastic array of food that is sure to please. Suggest calling ahead to get a table, as the place can fill up quick. Also take a moment to consider the wine list, a Rioja for everyone :) Also best to order in small batches or say 4 plates at a time (for 2 people) and suspect around 4/5 plates per person is decent... but depends how hungry you area ;)

We live very close to Los Molinos and whilst there are plenty of other restaurants to sample in the Shepherd's Bush/Hammersmith area we keep coming back here time and again. The reason is because the quality and freshness of the food is exquisite and the service is impeccable. Every time we walk through the door, no matter whether we have booked or not, the staff always provide us with warmest of welcomes as well as service with a smile. This really is a wonderful culinary experience and having lived in Spain for four years I can honestly say that the feeling is just like having the best home-cooked food in a local Spanish villa. As we have gotten to know the staff better with each visit we now feel as though we are going to eat at a friend's house therefore it is no surprise that we can't get enough of their company.

A good independent tapas place. Great wine list. Plenty of different Rioja's to try on return visits :) Four stars is a little stingy. But rounded down because although most of the food was great (the white bean, chorizo and black pudding stew, to name just one), a couple were a little bland (the stuffed mushrooms). Having said that maybe the selections we made weren't the best. Plenty of dishes we could have ordered - including the specials, which sounded good too - but didn't. Would recommend you go try for yourself. Will be going back.

Ordered the croquetas with jamón, gambas al ajillo, queso canario, and medallones de ternera and I was not disappointed. Out of all four the queso canario was superb! (definitely recommended). The gambas al ajillo was not very "garlicky" as I thought it would be and instead had a sauce on top. The service was on point and the wine was exquisite! Pricy but I would still come back. Charming rustic local tapas restaurant that's always busy. Managed to get a table without booking on a Tuesday. Surprisingly quick service and patient waitresses considering how fussy my granddaughter is and my pregnant daughter deciding how many plates she could eat. Thumbs up on beef bourginon with rice, chickpea spinach cumin stew, fresh garlic bread, chicken n cheese, and guacamole dip with tacos, not all eaten by one person ! . My son even joined us after his appointment to down a lemon sorbet and my daughter got second wind to eat a pretty berry decorated cheesecake. This place more than deserves the plaudits and certificates it has on its windows. It's cosy, it's decor reminding me of my mum's favour Mediterranean wallplat collection and they go the extra mile for a birthday party supplying possibly the most exciting cake I've seen in a while with raspberries, marshmallows and other goodies on top. Wanted to take a photo of it but didn't want to intrude. You'll have to make do with the others l took. I've not awarded five stars because my stew had peppers in it which on sensitive to and there weren't included in the description on the menu. I should have perhaps asked about the ingredients to avoid making a mistake.

I have lived in Hammersmith just south of the Green for almost two years and walked by Los Molinos at least a hundred times and thought 'I need to try that place.' Just before Christmas the right opportunity appeared. A pre-Christmas dinner with three friends was arranged for December 13th and I got to choose the restaurant. Well, it was just the place to go. We had a lovely time, all of the tapas we tried were fantastic (and that review includes kudos from one of the diners who live in Barcelona for a number of years), the wine list prices were reasonable and the service was friendly and as fast as we needed it to be. I can't wait to go back and expect that it will become my local 'go to' restaurant.
