Have been to Manna several times. Absolutely love the quality of the food. The atmosphere is so nice that I took my partner here for our first date. She absolutely loved the food, so much so that it helped open up her eyes to becoming vegan. I really like the spaghetti 'meatballs'. She really likes the raw lasagna. You also can't go wrong with the 'bangers' and mash. All foods are presented to a professional standard. Kudos to the chef. We will definitely be back the next time we visit primrose.

I celebrated my birthday at Manna. It was my first 100% vegan restaurant experience in London.
The staff blew me away with their professionalism and attitude.
The food was delicious, and the portions were surprisingly big. We ate bangers and mash, raw tacos and a salad, for dessert we had toffee pudding and berry cheesecake.
My next on the list is mushroom risotto 👌
B. A. S.
The oldest vegan restaurant in London delights with tasty dishes. The service was friendly and fast. A good mix of different cuisines. Good portion sizes.

Came here to celebrate my 50'th birthday and my almost 10 years as a vegan. Only to find out that the restaurant is also 50 years on the clock.
My family and I had a very nice dinner and desserts and where all very happy and literally stuffed when we left.
Highly recommended.

Love the place.. don’t complain any more about food in London even if you are not vegetarian. Have nice walk near the park and take the plate. Nice menu perfect temperature for food. Sometimes they heat all together if that is hot menu.. but this house have own their’s character one plate! Enjoy 😉

Delicious food and espresso. The kale was lush as the side but raw in my main course, the only thing I did not like food wise. The interior is lovely, it'd be nice if the toilets were a bit more 'welcoming'.
A. D.
We had the croquettes,, onion rings and maki rolls to start. The croquettes were good, though bottled sauces were a let down. The maki rolls were okay. The onion rings were probably the stand out dish and best I've ever had. Whole rings of onion in a very crisp batter.
We both ordered the Caribbean main. Both of us sent it back. We were looking forward to a well spiced curry and a jerk kick on the tofu. Both were a disappointment.
Our replacement mains were the sausages and mash, and the enchiladas. Both were fine though nothing to get excited about.
The sticky toffee pudding was good, moist, sweet and well balanced with ice cream.
I last came here seven years ago. That feels like a good timeframe for a revisit.

Food and service was good although a bit more towards the pricer side. Me and my mate had lunch here and spend £75
We had a starter each, a main and a side platter to share, plus 2 soft drinks.
The savory almond tart was really good and the quinoa maki was refreshing. The main was ok, nothing amazing about it. The chana masala was really good as a side.
Portion size was generous certainly filling.
Now that i've tried it, i don't think i will revisit as it didn't amaze me.
If you've never been, i would say give it a go and decide if this place is worth revisiting.
Y. S.
It's nice.. but the current June 2017 menu for main course is not too impressive. Starters are awesome.. buffalo cheese with cauliflower starter is a must try..
M. K.
We had nice vegan soup and main dishes. The interior though for me was very basic, ok for a quick drink, I would have felt more cosy, if there were pictures, decoration on the wall, plants, live plants too.Music was nice. Thank you :)

I've been at the restaurant on a Saturday evening to enjoy dinner and it's been a very pleasant experience.
It is a charmingly decorated cosy little restaurant offering delicious meals.
The food was served quickly and staff was attentive but never hectic or tedious. The waitress also answered questions about the menu friendly and patiently and it seemed that every member of staff is well-trained regarding dietary requirements.
I've chosen a starter and a salad for my main course and it was absolutely filling. Especially the salad was a generous portion size.
Both dishes had flavorful single components that also harmonised with each other in just the right balance creating an all-encompassing relish. The same applies for the dessert. Despite being full I was absolutely delighted that I've had it. It was, again, a succulent dish, appealingly and promptly served and a quite generous helping.
Unfortunately the room acoustics are a bit of a drawback. I was by myself so I did not converse with someone else, but the background conversations could be quite dominant in the spot that I was sitting in, so it might have been difficult to understand another person at the table. Maybe the interior could be complemented with some sound reducing furniture. I also had to ask for water with my red wine, which should go together unspokenly. This is however just a minor issue.
I will definately come back at other times to get to know the rest of the menu, which I am sure will be just as appetizing. I absolutely appreciate that they offer a shared platter for the starters as well as the main dishes. It is a smart solution if one wanted to taste from different dishes and encourages elegant food sharing in a group.

The place is very cozy, all food is vegan. Unfortunately, we were sitting in the space next to the door. So the doors would keep opening since it is winter season it can get a bit chilly and frustrating as the doors would constantly be opened and closed. Other than that the place was very nice. Would recommend.

Great vegan food! Tasty and delicious.
Cozy and well decorated restaurant.
Organic wine and prosecco with an amazing patisserie!
I. J.
Veggie institution - much more inventive and delicate than when I first visited 30 years ago. Friendly service that's not always the sharpest, but in line with the welcoming vibe.
K. M.
I think that’s the best vegan restaurant I’ve ever been to. Decent food, looking and tasting very good. Prices reasonable. Waiters polite and helpful.
R. S.
Nice decor. Friendly staff. Good vegan food. Could do with more options on the menu.
E. S. P.
Fantastic vegetarian options, big portions and great atmosphere. Highly recommended!

The mains are good and tasty but the desserts were extremely disappointing, not worth the price. I highly recomend one of the combined dishes.
J. O.
Very nice cute restaurant in a quiet place of camden not far from primrose hill.
I recommended the rissotto strudel.
Perfect for vegetarians. They have different plant milk aswell for coffee.
A. A.
Very fresh organic and vegan friendly . The pasta food and desserts are to die for very delicious would recommend.
E. P.
Just a wonderful place with great vegan dishes. I’ve been many times and am always impressed with everything I order. I haven’t been in a while and really must go again soon. Well worth booking and going for a meal!
A.
Surprisingly big portions and the food was really flavoursome. Lovely chic interior and a nice relaxed atmosphere.
A. P.
This place is VEGAN! I thought it would be awful. Actually, it was delicious and I'm even tempted to try being vegan! I had the lettuce tacos.
P. S.
We are not vegan, but we liked the look of the menu. Once seated we realised the restaurant was vegan. All the food looked good. Ordered the sausage and mash and some tofu. Tasted really nice. My friend had the nut roast and that was really nice too.
Service was good.
Was nice to have a non meat meal. Could taste the healthiness in the food.
Definitely would recommend this restaurant
S. H.
Great food. Really good service. We basically tried everything on the starters menus and every dish was a winner
D. J.
A nice place.
The food is very good and interesting with plenty of delicious options.
The service was also great and very accommodating.
I gave 4 stars and not 5 because of the prices.
I just don't see a reason why the prices should be so high!
Most mains cost 14-15 pounds.
The food is good but not that good.
You can get fantastic Vegan food for much less money.
However, for a special occasion or if you can generally afford more I would recommend giving this place a try.
L. P.
No WOW factor - the food is simple and unambitious, the tastes are definitely ordinary. The service was good and speedy, food presentation was absent, with most things just put on a plate with some leaves around it. The menu does a good job of showing what is gluten free, soy free, nut free, etc. Good wine. A bit pricey for what it is. To improve this restaurant, I would work on food presentation, and introduce a few signature dishes with bold and extraordinary flavours.
N. K.
This is one of my absolute favourite restaurants in London. The food is outstanding, healthy and offers a wide variety of dishes sure to please any palette whether you're a meat eater or not. The service is good, atmosphere is lovely and the prices are reasonable. Don't miss out on this place, especially if you're a vegetarian/vegan
s. S.
The service is very good here but the food is not up to standard. It’s a vegetarian restaurant so I hoped and assumed the food will be really good but unfortunately it wasn’t . Lack of flavouring and tasted dry. They really need to work on making their food better maybe speak to the chef or something . Not returning back unless they do something about fixing their flavouring on their food . 3 out of 5 stars . Average.

As a vegetarian, It's refreshing to be able to go to a restaurant and be able to order anything on the menu! Manna is a purely vegan restaurant with dishes competing for originality and flavour. Located in the beautiful Primrose Hill, it's a throws away from central London. Service was also excellent and I fully recommend the place.
Y. L.
Amazing food and great service!
I had been looking forward to coming to Manna and I was not disappointed. The food was of high quality and very tasty (highly recommend the bangers and mash!). All the staff were very friendly and attentive, informing us on the chef's special upon arrival. I will definitely be returning!
M. B.
One of the best spots in London. Just tucked out of the way enough to create a friendly, warm, inviting, cosy atmosphere. The service is great and the food is absolutely delicious. A real gem of the vegan restaurant scene. I can't recommend manna enough if you are visiting or live in London
C. M.
Loved the food. Caters for pretty much all allergies. Great tasting vegan food. Good service. Highly recommend!!
S. B.
This has got to be the best vegan restaurant in London and I've recommended it to many friends. The food is superb, the portions are huge and the service is really great. The prices are so reasonable for what you get. Excellent!!
S. P.
Tasty vegan experience! My husband and I have just decided to start exploring the vegan world. Manna offers good quality, variety and gluten-free food. We loved it! Ps: portions are huge! So don't be afraid to ask for a doggy bag.
G. H.
Dinner here was the best meal I have had in my life. I have been to many vegan restaurants across the globe and there is no doubt in my mind that this is the best vegan restaurant in London, and one of the best in the world. My partner and I ordered the polenta tart as a starter, the Thai green curry, lasagne, and an ice cream/cookie dessert. Each dish was full of flavour and beautifully presented. The portions were filling and the service was friendly. Stop by this place, you won't be disappointed.
J. K.
I went there with 3 other vegans and it was great to choose anything on the menu knowing you don;t have to check for ingredients. The food was very tasty. For started I tried croquets and they tasted like standard cheese ones. For main I had the enchilada and it was amazing. But the best thing was the chocolate orange desert. All in all everything was good. It s a bit pricey but well worth it and I will be coming back.
A. B.
Always love coming back to this place- it celebrated its 50th birthday last month and continues to impress with its imaginative menu and delicious rich, filling food (not words normally associated with vegan cuisine). One small downside, we had 2 courses, main and dessert, and my partner was still hungry when we got home after choosing one of the panzanella which was mainly veggies and quinoa- considering it was a lighter choice than some of the other mains, the portion wasn't as big as he had hoped.
G. S.
Food was delicious and staff very helpful and friendly. Three of us shared two starters followed by separate main courses. Menu has a great choice of options .None of us managed to finish these as extremely filling. Overall experience was very good. Can't wait to go back. Many thanks.
T. G.
We chose the option to BYOM (build your own meal) by choosing 4 side dishes. A good way to try out the menu. However looking at the mains that other customers had the mains seemed a better choice. Moderately priced and the food was good.
B.
Really enjoyable evening, so nice to eat at a vegan restaurent and it feel like everything is totally “normal” no pretence, no big deal, just great food. Only issue was a wobbly table, but Ben our server was quick to Apr this issue, very friendly, great service. I would absolutely recommend. 👍🏼👍🏼
P. Z.
Absolutely stunned with their food. Not too many options on the menu, but the dishes are exquisite! They are bursting with complex combinations of flavours and portions are quite large! Mind you, this review is coming from a meat lover :) I'm definitely coming back here.
T. E.
Best vegan food I've ever had - Thai green curry is amazing. Comes with a tofu kebab - didn't know tofu could taste this good! Superb service. Friendly staff and warm welcome
C. P.
Very good veggie and vegan food in the heart of Primrose Hill - though is its location justification for such high prices? Would also have been a more pleasant evening dining experience with lower levels of lighting. Staff pleasant and attentive.
D. M.
Didn't actually realise it's a vegan restaurant until the waitress told us when we were leaving! Food was delicious, wine list was good and their vegan chocolate truffles were to die for. Knocked one point off as I wasn't a fan of their guacamole but otherwise can't fault it!
A. D.
Beautiful food, too much choice I was stuck looking at the menu for ages!! All vegan and all delicious, the nacho cheese is almost guilt-inducing.
Lovely atmosphere, cruelty free, can't go wrong.
A. W. (.
Can't complain, as a vegan. Equally as good as many of the places I visited in Munich, which has a great vegan scene. It's the same sort of fancy, fusion stuff.
I thought the puddings were the best here. If I could do whatever I wanted and consequences be damned, I'd order three of those instead of mains.
Y. L.
Amazing food and great service!
I had been looking forward to coming to Manna and I was not disappointed. The food was of high quality and very tasty (highly recommend the bangers and mash!). …
M. K.
The menu was great - delicious food and fair sized portions. The service could be better considering the posh location - a smile from a waiter would be nice rather than a "I-don't-give-a-damn" attitude. But the fact that I still give it 4 stars says I wasn't too bothered about it really ;-)
A. w.
Manna is a lovely restaurant set within a beautiful area of London. The staff are very helpful and the atmosphere is very cosy and friendly. Most importantly the food that me and my partner both ordered was exceptional and clearly expertly made. 5/5.
Z. A.
London's oldest vegetarian restaurant that has gone vegan in recent years. Big portions that are beautifully presented in a warm and intimate setting. Great for a special meal and dates.
D. H.
A very nice restaurant, a little fancy and ever so slightly hipster-pretentious but the food and service is really good and only slightly on the pricey side. Many vegan options. The sort of place you go for a celebration or a special meal, rather than a simple evening dinner.
B. R.
Proving that vegetarian food can be haute cuisine, and that you won't miss the meat, Manna hits the mark. I had a superb grilled aubergine dish, whilst others enjoyed mushroom medleys and vegetable curries. Possibly the only thing missing (ironically) are 'vegetable sides' to accompany main meals that are really substantial, but could match something plainer very well.
D.
I've been to a few veg/vegan restaurants in London and this is probably at the top of the list, thoroughly enjoyed the maki maki and tempura. The desert was a bit too much but the decor and atmosphere amplified the great experience here. The tofu was rather plain but the Thai green curry was rather nice, and filling.
T. H.
Outstanding, Excellent, Facemelting - I don`t have words for it. Best Vegan Restaurant I`ve discovered so far. Great variety of fresh and high quality ingredients turned into creative, healthy and tasty meals. Highly recommendable!!!
D. B.
We went for to Manna for my girlfriends birthday and had a really lovely time there. Really nice atmosphere and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The portions were really generous and tasty. I will definitely be going back again.
S. M.
Super flavorful, savory, delicious vegan options. The food is on par with Blossom in NYC but the setting feels cozier and more like a community establishment.
P. K.
Top vegan food in central London. Primrose hill
Is a lovely setting for this restaurant which is on the border of pub food and finer cuisine. Great quality , tasty food and often hard to believe that everything is plant based
R. C.
high quality food perfect for groups or couples, fairly intimate setting with lovely helpful staff. MASSIVE PORTIONS! seriously large plates of food so don't get a starter if you're not starving! so so brilliant value for money and quality of ingredients, can't fault a thing!
D. S.
The food is absolutely delicious. Portion sizes are big. No starving here. The ambiance is relaxed and classy. The staff were attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Will be going back for sure. Thank you Mannna.
A. M.
You can find tasty meals made for vegetarians. The prices are pretty reasonable and you will enjoy their assortment. The cakes are one of my favourites- they have brownies, vegan cakes, cupcakes etc. Don't forget to try them.
J. G.
Staff were disorganised and the service was really slow. We were helped by two different waitresses trying to cover for a slacking waiter all while the owner stood at his computer looking uninterested. The food was good. Still, for Primrose Hill prices, you expect a baseline if service. Doubt I'll be back.
J. W.
One of the best veggie restaurants in London and perfect distance for a stroll through primrose hill! Staff were all lovely and walked us through the menu. Recommend the v sausage and mash!
D. H.
Incredible and creative food in a really nice area. It's not cheap but it's reasonablt priced considering the location and food. I have been there with non vegan friends and they have loved it. Nice decor
S. B.
Worth travelling from Woolwich to this amazing place. Food is just divine, staff great. Their 7 course set menu special nights - New Year's Eve, Valentines' - book early!
A. W.
I've been a vegetarian for 53 years, transitioning to vegan. Manna is simply THE BEST VEGAN RESTAURANT I've ever been to. The meals I've tried there were all incredibly tasty. Highly recommended.
T.
Good vegetarian food, but leans a bit towards attracting the typical English meaty palate (Bangers and Mash, Roast of the day, etc.) to try the vegetarianism. Had the savoury tarte for starters and Spaghetti and Veatball and Roast of the Day for the main dish. Roast was OK, but the Spaghetti was very good.
N. E.
Really enjoyed the food, the atmosphere is very quiet and relaxed. Could have used some soft music in the background. Drinks could have been a bit better aswell. Overall will be coming again!
p. s.
Visited Manna for the first time after reading the excellent reviews and I wasn’t disappointed. The food was delicious, especially the vegan cheesecake. It’s a bit expensive but worthwhile when the food and service is that good. Highly recommended.
E. W.
Best vegetarian food I've had out 👌🏼
R. H.
Lovely food - I recommend the jalapeño cashew things for starter and the bangers and mash - though neither are light bites! Warm and cosy, with hearty food and a buzzy, chatty atmosphere - it's perfect for an autumn or winter night. Friendly staff too.
J. L.
When we first arrived the waitress was a bit rude and dismissive. I specifically said I cannot have dairy and soy and asked her to remove and sauces containing this. When the second waitress served my food my bean taco was accompanied with a soy creamy sauce dressing. I queried this with the second waitress and they had to plate my food again. I kind of felt like I could make this meal at home. It wasn't anything to write home about. I had the bean tacos, a small side salad and onion rings. The best thing about the meal was the dessertthe Mojito Tart. Not sure if I would go back.
E. B.
Went for a meal here recently and absolutely loved it. Had the chef's special and very happy with it. A bit on the pricey side but worth it. Beautiful area too.
D. w. D.
Super yum food and staff are friendly!
C. M.
Loved the food. Caters for pretty much all allergies. Great tasting vegan food. Good service. Highly recommend!!
E. R.
I could not find the place initially .... but google maps did the trick. The place was small and cosy but tidy. I found myself hearing every conversation of the adjacent tables. The Food was good but the service could be better. Price slightly on the higher end to what I expected but all over it was a nice evening
B. B.
A quaint cafe restaurant serving vegan dishes situated very close to Primrose Hill. Food is creative, tasty and well prepared. Service is efficient. Highly recommended.
M. O. L.
Lovely vegan food. Large option for gluten free. Nearly everything can be done gf. Staff is lovely. Book as it can be very busy
A. J.
Really amazing food and great service.
J. A.
Lovely service, beautiful place, great food - you wouldn't even know (or care) it's all vegan!
Highlights are the slider, taquitos and tostada 👌
A. R.
Most amazing cheesecakes ever! Plain vanilla is my fav
Mains also nice
The best for first time is to order starters to see what is best for you
M. D.
Lovely food and really nice staff. It's a bit pricey but the portion sizes are great and the quality is really worth it. Definitely going back.
L. H.
Very nice place with excellent service. The food completely suits my gluten-free diet. I recommend Manna to anyone who wants to taste something extraordinarily delicious.
A. B.
Nice vegetarian lunch place, affordable. Right off Primrose Hill. Service was a bit slow and the quinoa salad lacked some complexity (not so filling) but it was fresh and overall a good experience.
N. H.
Really nice atmosphere, cal and relaxing place, for sure. The experience that I had there will last for a really long time. I like it a lot and I can not wait to go there and try my favourite meals.
S. H.
For my Wife and I still the best Vegan dining in London, we don't live as close as we used to so dont get there often enough, but always worth the journey, food never disappoints room is great staff are wonderful.

So very very good. Delicious. Healthy and hearty options everywhere. Lovely staff. Vegan's delight.
J. S.
A fantastic selection of vegan delights. Be aware that they serve generous portion sizes, so leave room for dessert!
C. B.
Very nice dinner. We had to wait quite a lot in between dishes though. I’d return again. Very nice staff
E. W.
The mezze was mindblowing, even off the beaten track this was busy and bustling. Loved the creativity in the menu with traditional meat dishes to vegan ones

It is ok food for a little high price.. i am a vegetarian and am always on a hunt for different places to go to.. this one was nice but nothing out of the world specially for the $ amt paid..

The food was fantastic and the service was very good. I was surprised how few tables were taken at 9pm on a Saturday as in the past I'd struggled to book a table.
