Best fish & chips but its just a shame the delievery fee is, £2.49 on top of an order for £10 or more. It never used to be so i do order from else where instead. Maybe charge extra for ordering under £10 & on top of that im not even 3 miles away. Most places are free delivery within 3 mile radius.

Possibly South West London's best fish and chips. Certainly the punters think so, as it's always busy. Quick service nonetheless as a seemingly impossible number of staff behind the counter rush to fulfill your order. Fish is the high point - always fresh and top notch batter. Kebabs and burgers complete the lineup.

Ordered from here for the first time today, arrived very quick and was absolutely bloody gorgeous! The fish (Rock) was so soft Menlo in your mouth and the chips were out of this world. Would definitely order from there again!

The best fish and chips, kebabs and service in Wandsworth. Well established Hindus cooking great food. The meat is Halal which is good for the local Muslim community. Yummy mummys may be intimidated to go in, but it's they're loss they need to start integrating and understand that Wandsworth is a multi diverse area and Maria's has been there since the dawn of time.

Simple, usual concept of a fish & chips restaurant but according to the opinion of locals and visitors it's so far one of the best in the area. The fact that the place is always packed with a line coming out of the door says it all. The chips are some of the best around and the fish is always really fresh. There are always 4 or 5 guys behind the counter so service is normally very quick. The owner and the 2nd in charge are also super nice and know all the reagulars (like me)

Probably the only decent fish in chip shop in the area (not saying much) just your regular takeaway nothing special. They had a shop in Wandsworth bridge road which I found better, the fried chicken has gone downhill. Doner kebabs are great portion size wise but very very greasy.

Thanks to my train being cancelled I had over an hour to wait so went to get some food, finding Maria's did some what make up for this. A great kebab, lovely seasoned meat and something very rare, it was all put inside the pitta so when you'd eaten enough of it you could pick it up and eat it as a kebab unlike lot that just throw it all on top of the pitta. Very nice kebab indeed, thoroughly enjoyed it

Very clean. Well organised. Staff very friendly. On Deliveroo, Uber eats and just eat. Chips are generous portions and taste just as ‘fish and chips’ chips should. The fish is also generous sizes. I think I prefer the haddock to the cod as it doesn’t have the bottom skin bit on. Always busy and very popular. Won local awards for local restaurants :)

Bit chaotic, but the haddock and chips that I've had several times from here are very tasty and not too greasy either. The seated area is just functional. This is not a place that you would go to eat in unless for absolute convenience.

I use to go here when i was kid coming home from school. Other than the prices, nothing has changed. Great food, friendly staff, little seating so more for take away. Overall, you won't be disappointed. If ordering through deliveroo instead of uber eats some menu irmtems only allow one choice of salad so if you want to select all salad go with the latter for ordering

Kebab here is the best and chips.But the seller:Tall,white.Is very rude.My mum came to this store and ask for 2 kebab,she’s not speaking English,she said:Can I have two big kebab.And the seller started laughing in front of everyone. he said that she did not understand English.I think it very rude. Another sellers is fine but this one is rude.Boss in this store is very intelligent.

Always good food at Maria's but boy does he like a price increase! Every other month 20p or 30p gets added on to his prices making it increasingly difficult to afford to eat there. Half pounder with cheese and chips started off at £3.50, at the last time I looked it was a fiver. I understand things goes up, but they also go down in supermarkets so his suppliers prices will also fluctuate. Kebabs are ok but doner meat never cooked enough for my tastes (I like a slight bark on the meat), and they always wrap it in paper so any sauce on it ends up all over the paper and not on the doner. Why they don't put it in a foam box I don't know! Best value are the lamb bites (which is left over doner, cubed and battered) and spam fritters.

Haven’t been to Maria’s since I was a little girl but will always hold this shop close to my heart as my nan and grandad use to own it and it’s actually named after my nan, I spent a lot of time there as a child with them and have a lot of great memories and even after all these years it warms my heart to see that my nans name is still above the shop doing her proud ... think I may have to take a day trip down to relive the memories 💕
