Reviews of Masala India
T. D.
Great food the tiffen boxes are amazing value.
The slow cooked lamb was delicious even with with my post covid dulled taste!
It’s also BYO (off license next door) and the puddings were good too!
H. R.
First time dining in this restaurant and have had a very pleasant experience. Complimentary poppadoms given upon entry which is always a plus. Food was prepared within a good time and was tasty. Delicious and fresh. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Would recommend and will dine here again. Thank you Masala India :)
C. B.
Absolutely delicious food. Expansive menu and a fantastic choice of set menus (with options for each dish). The portions were just the right size, without being over-facing. Every mouthful was a delight....both meat and vegetarian dishes. The staff were incredibly friendly and laid back. BYO meant that it was very good value. I'll definitely be going back soon. Highly recommended!
e. r.
Good food, family run and authentic recipes. They’re not on delivery apps but you can ring and order and pick up. Have eaten in before and was tasty- the tiffin boxes are good to share/ taste different things. Friendly chatty staff. Bring your own booze so makes it competitively priced. Would recommend.

Good food.
But the wait time was probably the longest I have ever waited for food. Few other customers were visually annoyed by their late food. This can really put someone off from returning.
The restaurant wasn’t too busy wither.
It is a shame as the food was very good.
Perhaps you need more kitchen staff.
If this issue is sorted I can see the restaurant becoming very popular. It is hard to find authentic food like this.
I hope to have a better experience should I return.

We had such a great experience at Masala India. We were a big table and put in a pre-order. Our food was all delicious - everyone really enjoyed it! The restaurant also got me flowers and chocolates for my Birthday which was so thoughtful. Will definitely be coming back!

I LOVE this place. BYOB, affordable, and some of the best Indian/Bangladeshi food I’ve tried full stop. So cosy, family-orientated and just the best food. Love, love, love. (Order the tiffin.)
M. R.
We’ve had a few recommendations for this place and I am so glad we finally made it.
We had such a warm welcome (even with our two kids) and the food really is outstanding. We enjoyed everything we ordered but the lamb was really stand out. Amazingly with a few street food snacks and starters our 2 tiffin meals easily fed all 4 of us, plus extra for take away. It’s very reasonably priced, BYOB and the heated garden is perfect for this time of year. We cannot wait to go back and try more of the menu.

Had such a delicious meal here last night. The vegan tiffin was incredible, and the samosa chaat, pakoras and Pani Puri were amazing too, some of the best we've had (and we eat a lot of Indian food). My parents were blown away by the lamb chops and prawn curry too. Service was excellent, the covered outside was a lovely setting and byob is always a plus. Authentic, flavourful food with lovely, charming service, we will definitely be returning!

Such an incredible gem in Leyton! We visited for a dinner during the week and everything was perfect! Staff was incredibly friendly and smiling, we loved that! We were offered the opportunity to choose where to seat (either the back or the tables close to the entrance door - we chose the former and the atmosphere was lovely & relaxed at the same time!). Food was SO delicious and flavourful! Every dish we ordered had "its own personality" and portions were big! We loved having the opportunity to interact with the owner of the restaurant at the end of our dinner and knowing more about his restaurant: you can definitely tell he has passion for good food! We left with a smile on our face and our belly satisfied! Absolutely recommended and I cannot wait to be back myself! Thanks!
J. C.
Honestly this is probably one of the best currys I've ever had. We went for 2 tiffin boxes so essentially tried 6 curries and that were all incredible, especially the lamb, daal and aubergine. So good. Cant wait to go back. And its BYOB. The best.
G. C.
This food is awesome, bought for takeaway... I went home and I expected good food, but was much better... Next time I'll be there for sure...
They were as well really respectful, really good presentation, etc...
M. A.
I was impressed.
My first proper Indian experience.
Food was amazing 😍
Crew, super friendly and professional and helpful.
C. R.
Delicious food and the loveliest staff! A family business and smiles all round. Our gorgeous waiter was the best host and full of comical and endearing stories. Thank you for entertaining and feeding us. Highly recommended!
D. M.
The best Indian restaurant and takeaway in Leyton hands down! Never disappoints, food excellent quality and fresh and staff are so lovely and friendly. Massively recommend if you are looking for good value and very tasty food

Up There With The Best Curry Houses In East London. From The Moment We Stepped Inside Our Hosts Provided The Best Customer Service I've Encountered In A Long Time. This Is A Very Well Run Family Restaurant. Our Hosts Were Friendly And Chatty, We Ordered Pani Puri And A Small Mixed Grill Along With Our Tiffins. They Were Very Helpful In Suggesting Which Dishes Would Go Well Together As Part Of Our Tiffins. I Would Highly Recommend The Following -
Mixed Grilled Starter
Kala Bhuna - Dried Meat
Dal
King Prawn Jalfraizi
I Will Definitely Be Coming Back Here To Try Some More Of Their Tiffin Dishes! Our Bill Came Up To £67, This Included 3 Tiffins, Small Mixed Grill, Pani Puri And 3 Cokes. Very Good Value For Money, The Tiffins Were More Than Enough To Fill Us Up.

The best Indian food I’ve found in east London. Really tasty, great value and friendly
P. S.
Lovely family run restaurant with amazing food and great service. Food is very flavour rich, authentic and made fresh. We recommend everything on the menu.
A. Q.
Fantastic food. The quality and the taste of the food was amazing. Try their lamb chops you will be hooked!
F. R.
First Indian experience. Amazing food. Amazing staff. Speechless.
F. O.
Beautiful atmosphere, nice place. Amazing choice of menu, suitable for fish, meat eating or vegetarian! Everything is so delicious, highly recommended. It's family business so you can feel the passion and the care I'm everything thay do. Can't wait to go back, my day off its Tuesday, and it's their day of closing, such a same. Perfect place to enjoy as a couple, with family or with friends. Beautiful .
C. B.
I had my birthday here last night at it was FANTASTIC. Just everything - the hospitality from Shaheen and family, the mouth watering food from Rumi. Even the small touches like happy birthday balloons and a dessert treat. We were a big group and the organisation was perfect. Every single person has told me to pass on a huge thank you for such a special time. The biggest thank you from me!
k. s.
Everything here tastes super fresh, but the porota bread is amazing - like deep fried croissants, unbelievably g great for mopping up your curry.
P. L.
Visited here recently based on the reviews here. What a great place to eat Indian food. You won't find the usual Indian restaurant nonsense here, no flock wallpaper, dodgy art showing Indian scenes etc, Just really tasty Indian food served up by the family who own the place. No alcohol licence but who really wants to buy supermarket wine for twice the price.
A. A.
I seen a restaurant in my area with 4.7 in Google. I told to my friend that we need to try this Indian food. This is a food to try. Best Indian food experience in my life and I been in India. The food is soo great that you can forgive them no wine list, especially that you can bring your own wine. Restaurant is not looking like posh hotel. But when you going to restaurant you should focus on food. This food deserve all the best. Is amazing .
P. M.
Absolute quality. We went Friday and it's so good we're going back again next weekend 💕. The staff are really sweet, the food is great and value for money, lovely to sit outside in the large covered area. And BYOB much appreciated.
E. B.
Such a great restaurant - amazing food, loads of vegan options and their dahl is THE BEST! The family who run it are lovely (as well as being great cooks!) and I always feel welcome here, and always have a great evening.
e. p.
They are such a friendly, accommodating family business that make tasty, well prepared home cooked food! Great vegetarian and vegan options. Everyone I have taken there has commented on how great it is. It’s important more than ever to support independent business doing great things so I fully recommend getting a takeaway or eat-in when we are allowed to once again!
m. k.
The food was delicious.
Staff very nice and polite.
A pleasure to eat their food.
P.
I like cooking Indian food a lot so don’t come out for it that often.
Delicious food, friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, reasonable price. What more can you want. Already told all my mates about it. Looking forward to coming back!
C. C.
Really excellent local Indian. Authentic homemade dishes that you won’t find anywhere else. I am delighted to find an Indian restaurant that has a vegetarian and vegan menu as varied as the meat one. The starters (street snacks) and tiffin menus were gorgeous- so tasty. I used to have to go to Stoke Newington’s Rasa for a decent Indian meal, but now we have our very own London gem! Lovely enclosed terrace area at the rear, and well set up in terms of Covid precautions.
A. R.
Had a meal here today in their garden. The food was wondeful, nicely presented. The staff are very friendly. Would highly recommend.
M. C.
This is no joke. One of the best Indian restaurant's in London. Absolutely delicious!
D. K.
Vanessa and I took our friend Ann here for her 82nd birthday. Quite apart from the delicious food, which satisfied one vegan, one vegetarian and one dedicated carnivore, the staff decorated our table with birthday balloons and a beautiful bouquet of flowers for the birthday girl. It was a truly special evening, a first visit for all of us, and it certainly won't be the last!
Z. V.
The best curry I have had across London and the North East of England. Amazing food, a little different (healthier, delicious, high quality), so tasty with no guilty feelings after enjoying. Awesome friendly professional service (as a repeated local customer, I can definitely vouch for the family run service being genuine and a rare treat) aand just a great place to sit and spend a few hours.
Oh and its BYO.....
S. A.
I've never written a google review before but the curry I just had has moved me to. I grew up in Bradford and after 8 years in London I have never had a curry I would describe better then 'alright'. The veg tiffin box from Masala India was straight fire. Every curry delicious and distinct flavours from the other. Right down to the homemade chutneys this was a banger 10/10
j. r.
Super friendly and the best Indian food around. Love it.
R. H.
So bloody good this place. I will not be surprised when I see this on a list of one of the best Indian restaurants in London.
The family behind this place are wonderful. Service is lovely, vibes are good - and importantly the food is all home cooked and you can taste how fresh it is.
Get a reservation if you can.
R. G.
This was probably the best food I've ever eaten. The staff were wonderful
S.
Best Indian food around!
Several vegan options!
Warm and welcoming staff and cosy interior.
J. S.
This is restaurant really deserves the great reviews and ratings it has received- outstanding.
The popadoms were really special to start, and quality was maintained throughout. Very, very highly recommended.

What can I say, one of the best Indian meals I’ve ever had.
Two of us are working locally and tried this place last week, it was that nice we booked for the following week but I held back on doing a review until our second visit. Well that didn’t disappoint.
I’ll not bore you with what we had but if your in the area and have the opportunity to visit you’ll not be disappointed.
Very easy on the wallet as well and you can take your own wine or beer in.
J. R.
Lovely authentic family run Indian restaurant. Food it may take slightly long if place is busy, but it's worth it. 😋
S. L.
This place is magical. Will revisit and will bring visiting friends here straight away
K. A.
Took a chance on this relatively new little restaurant for a take away. The food was fantastic, everything tasted so fresh, and the currys were incredibly rich in flavour. The chef's specials were delicious. Staff very nice too. Can't recommend highly enough!
O. P.
Proper family run business. Top quality meat used. Lamb chops were fantastic. Everything is made from scratch. Great service. Bring your own bottle.
J. F.
Been searching for a really good Indian near walthamstow e17 and now found one. The food was awesome and service was top class and it BYOB. The good bits, service is great this is a family run business and you get that great experience of a family that want you to be really welcome. The food was so tasty, the specialize in Tifin Boxes which is like a set meal where all the dishes come out on a tray, you can choose from all the favourites such as Lamb Madras, its £15 for the tray of food which was good value. The food was so good and they will cook everything to the spice level you want. It's a bonus that you can bring your own wine and since there was no corkage the meal for two of us came to £30. I'm booked in already for next week.
S. H.
A lot of people think they live near the 'best Indian restaurant', BUT THIS ONE REALLY IS!
Everything is so on point I can't enthuse about it enough. All the food I've tried on the menu (and I've been a few times) has been excellent; clearly it's all made from scratch, is authentic and made with care and skill.
The service is excellent, value is amazing and the icing on the cake is it's BYO.
i. p.
Best lamb curry in a long time, authentically cooked by mum in the kitchen
A. R.
I ate here for the first time last week and it will not be the last! The food was superb. The menu is extensive and varied with some interesting dishes, and the owner could not have been more helpful in answering our questions and making recommendations. We tried the tiffins, which were delicious and excellent value for money, too. I could tell the food was prepared with real care and attention to detail. A great addition to the area - this place deserves to be a success!
B. G.
Just checked this restaurant out
Haven't eaten here yet but will do. Specialising in homecooked Indian food which is done by the wife.......so must be good
They've also got garden seating
Defo recommend
Prices good too
E. R.
We just can't get enough of the food at Masala India, it's so full of flavour and cooked with such care and love that we've never been even close to being disappointed by a meal here. The hosts are warm and welcoming and you can even bring your own drinks if you fancy a bevvy with you meal. Overall a fantastic experience and would highly recommend!
G. N.
The food is amazing, really tasty and authentic. BYOB what more could you want? Travel the length and breadth of London and you’d be hard pushed to find better than this. Try the slow cooked lamb, pretty sure it descended from culinary heaven and landed on my plate. Staff are amazing, so much care and attention. Just put down trip advisor, and get down here. Now.
_. G.
This place is so good. Every dish we ordered had so much flavour. Cannot go wrong with the Tifin boxes!
A. N.
LOVE this place! We've had takeaway from here twice now and the staff are so friendly and the food is delicious! Highly recommend the tiffins, four of us shared a mix of different dishes and everything was good, with some absolute stunners. You can tell a lot of thought and care has been put into the food.
J. W.
Fantastic curry. A tiffin gives you the perfect blend of 4 different dishes! The slow cooked lamb is a signature. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Would recommend booking for evenings!
R. M.
Great food, amazing customer service. Definitely recommend. You have to try the Kala bhuna.
S. M.
Can’t recommend enough! We dropped by to pick up a Monday night take-away and completely devoured our tasty selection.
The tiffin set is very much plentiful with three dishes plus bread or rice.
Everything was very tasty.
In particular I’d recommend the gosht salan (lamb) which was very flavourful and the lamb was perfectly tender.
Although we didn’t eat in, the husband and wife team were very friendly and kindly explained what taste/components were in each dish. They have seating in the back garden which I imagine would be lovely during the warmer months.
Definitely will become one of our regulars.
s. b.
Great little Indian restaurant at the end of our road. Friendly family run business. BYOB. No frills. Egg curries were great. Naan bread and broad bean curry was amazing
G. C.
Did NOT disapoint! The quality of the dishes, hospitality, and value cannot be beaten. I had our host choose dishes for me and wow! My guests and I all felt as if we were invited into someone's house and served lovingly cooked home recipes. You will love dining here! Also, BYOB!
A.
I had a fantastic experience, as a vegetarian they had lots of options and all the dishes we chose were very tasty, the thali in particular. The staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing and price was reasonable (even more so with the 30% off). I will definitely be coming back - a great addition to the local area.
Update - the saag paneer is genuinely the best I've ever had, no grease and delicious, fresh ingredients. The vegetarian tiffin was great too and featured a salan, which I've never tried before but is now a new favourite!
R. P.
Excellent. Really delicious and not the usual sugar heavy commercial bog standard fare. Much lighter, more flavoursome and tastier than I was expecting. I would guess the difference being a lot of love and pride, but maybe it's just the spicing. 🙂
M. H.
The food here is amazing, as is the service. After having a really nice chat to one of the staff, I found out it's a family run business too. I recommend the meat Tiffin, note to drinkers, it's bring your own booze.
C. B.
This is the best Indian food I’ve eaten in London. They serve food in a Tiffin, where you select 4 dishes to compose your plate and 3 of the dishes are served in little silver bowls. The egg curry and slow roasted lamb curry bowls are incredible. Full of flavor and unique and just insanely good. The aubergine and broad bean curry is also fresh and yummy, as is the saag paneer. The peshwari naan has delicious coconut and is the perfect side dish for the tiffin dishes.
The restaurant is run by the nicest family. The father takes the orders, the son introduces you to the menu and is super charming, and the mom does all of the amazing cooking. I am definitely going to make this my regular spot for Indian. I can’t imagine going anywhere else now. Better than any of the high street Indian chains!
C. M.
A lovely new addition to Leyton. Our now go-to Indian in the area. A very authentic menu explained brilliantly by the owner if there are any queries or recommendations needed. The curries are really enjoyable and avoid all the grease that usually comes with most curry houses. Some great vegetarian options plus the Lamb Samosa Chat is to die for! I would thoroughly recommend.
T. B.
This place is legit. Amazing staff, amazing food. So good. We had a big group and they were brilliant. Food came quick and tasted great. The paratha is amazing. I had the dry lamb and loved it.
J. F.
Ordered takeaway from here and was not disappointed; warm, genuine and friendly service and the food was great. Tiffin selection is good value, perfect for a secret solo dinner when your significant other is away :)
T. B.
First time here tonight, I rarely remember to leave reviews, but it really was good. Great value, very friendly, and the food was incredible. It's BYO for beers etc. but there's a shop next door.
N. L.
2 years on and this place is still hands down the BEST Indian food you can get in London. The tiffin is incredible! and the Paratha is next level
R. M.
We've lived in Leyton for about 14 years now and finally we have a decent authentic Indian restaurant in our neighborhood. The family who runs the restaurant are lovely people and the food is excellent!! You can not go wrong. Time = perfection and this is what you get.
C. H.
Being the avid curry fan that I am, I was delighted to experience a new local restaurant that not only delivers on top quality flavoursome food, but a real authentic customer service also. This is my absolute new fave and go to for my curry fix. Thank you and keep up the good work!
H. O. E.
Had some takeaway. Food came quickly, staff were friendly, and food tasted great! Really fresh and full of flavour. Great addition to the neighbourhood!
We live across the road so will definitely be back!
J. C.
I thought the reviews were fake, but this place is very much the real deal! Great food, great vibe, great service. We have found our new local curry house.
E. C.
Such a great restaurant in Leyton. Excellent food, the flavours were all really good. They have an interesting menu where you can do a mix and match selection or have larger dishes. Everything we had was fresh/homemade and delicious. Go for a friendly relaxed meal.
F. T.
We’re short of good Indian options in Leyton/Leytonstone but this place ticks all the boxes! Delicious food, warm and friendly service (it has a great family run feel) and very reasonable. Couldn’t recommend enough! I wish they delivered but worth the 25 min walk any day of the week...YUMMY YUMMY
K. E.
It's great to have a curry house providing authentic, great tasting food. The sauces are spicey, sweet and rich. The naan very light and tasty. So many curry houses around here serve up the same old thing covered in oil, not this place. Reasonably priced too.
L. S.
We ordered a Tiffin each for a group of 4, the meal was absolutely delicious and the owners treated us so well. Thanks for a great evening!
R. S.
Excellent food, really lovely service from the whole family. Best paratha I've ever had. And the thali style of eating means that you get to try lots of different dishes. Definitely one that we will go back to again!
J. H.
Best Indian food in the area. You can taste the love and care in every dish. It's what I imagion the food is like in India. No delivery but totally worth it. For anyone that has eaten a Rasa in Stoke Newington, it reminds me of them.
A. O.
Erase all preconceptions of what curry should taste like and then treat yourself to THE most delicious authentic food. The flavours, the service, the ambience are all spot on. A real treat to have Masala India (a family run restaurant) in the area. Dare you not to get a delivery and venture out, SO good.
A. K.
Really great food; so tasty. Not your everyday Indian restaurant... these guys are super passionate about their food. One of the best curry places in East London without exaggeration!
e. c.
Lovely place can’t wait to go back, what a gem. Beautiful family service and cosy clean interior. Legit homemade food specialising in tiffin selections with SUCH good curries and great prices. Really cute place for a date or group of friends.
E. N.
The best Indian food I have had in a long time. Delicious and freshly made. Really friendly owners and the added bonus that you can sit outside. I will be back for sure.
A. W.
Excellent food, with really friendly staff. Certainly a step up from any of the Indian Restaurants in the area. The Tiffins are a really good idea allowing you to choose four different dishes. There’s a meat tiffin, a fish tiffin, a vegetarian tiffin and even a vegan tiffin. They also do pani puri - few restaurants feature pani puri - and they let you put them together yourself. (A much better idea than the pre made ones). You can also have egg curries, again unusual. I had really tender, flavoursome dry meat, chops and the best dal I’ve had for some time. The tandoori chicken, which my wife had, isn’t that terrible bright red colour it is in most places. It’s BYO as well, which makes it very well priced. Finally, I’d nominate their paratha as paratha of the year!
J. M.
This is quite possibly the best curry I’ve ever had. Each dish has its own distinct aromatic flavour without being oily or greasy. For me, the humble Dahl stole the show.
O. S.
small & cosy restaurant, but surely the best indian cuisine i‘ve ever had in my entire life! The waiters were really kind to explain the different dishes.
absolutely recommendable
J. E.
Really excellent food, rich with flavour. Everything medium spiced which really helps to taste all the other awesome flavours. Great service and value for money.
N. R.
No exaggeration this is best restaurant in Leyton / Walthamstow area and the best curry I've ever eaten. Such good value and BYOB!! Absolutely amazing food, amazing service and the Paratha is literally to die for. Thank you for a fantastic meal
S. Y. B.
Such a great restaurant in Leyton! Extremely friendly and helpful staff (lots of good food recommendations) and some of the better Indian food I've had in London ever. Recommend the dry curry!
N. V.
Well worth the visit! We ate in the garden, food was simply amazing, lovely homemade, real indian food. Service very good! Probably the best restaurant in the neighborhood.
G.
Had a wonderful meal from this restaurant in the form of their tiffins every dish was complex and well spiced, they really provide a genuine authentic meal and i would recommend this place to anyone interested in having a amazing meal, I will definitely be returning.
S. H.
A brilliant Indian restaurant, a cut above the rest. The gosht salan, dal, and saag paneer are particularly good. Only issue is sometimes there's a bit of a wait for your order. BYOB
V. G.
So happy that we now have a delicious curry restaurant locally! The food is home-cooked and the restaurant is run by a very friendly, local family. Pay them a visit, eat lots and support this wonderful local business!
S. C. S.
"Never Gonna Give You Up", recorded by British singer and songwriter Rick Astley in 1987, topped the charts in 25 countries - and I think I finally understand what he was getting at. If it wasn’t for the very specific clause in the Sipsy Curry Society contract, prohibiting us from returning to a restaurant where we’ve previously broken poppadoms, as well as the additional clause that prohibits us from eating in a restaurant outside of Zone 2 unless granted special exception at the discretion of the chairman in seat at the time of asking... well, I think you can see where I’m going with this. Needless to say, the food here is so good that I have been in touch with my solicitor to question the legality of it, but rest assured he has told me repeatedly and in no uncertain terms that the extent to which food tastes nice is not a matter of the law. The police also said as much so I will cease to continue this line of inquiry henceforth.
K. C.
The tiffin sets are such a great idea. The dal and lamp chops are amazing.
J. B.
I have just eaten at Masal India. Beautifully presented dishes in an atmospheric court yard. This family restaurant is a jewel on Leyton high road. Ought to be on everyone's list of places to eat. The owner has ethical ideas difficult to find in the present climate. An education in India cuisine.
C. V.
Fantastic place. Great food, love the lamb curries, lamb chops and sag aloo with fresh naans. BYOB 🍷. 🙌
S. P.
Fantastic Indian food, great for vegetarians, vegans and those who like their meats also. Friendly staff and lovely garden. The lentil Dal is also the best I’ve tasted. 🙂
A. v. d. p.
Really tasty great home cooked Indian food, A t variety of dishes including vegan options not just the usual - a tiffin meal with option of interesting curries such as aubergine and broad bean - a garden area at the back - run by lovely people
G. T.
Try this if you want to have a different twist on the average Indian cuisine. Tasty and spicy dishes, lovely staff in a family environment.
C. M.
Great family run restaurant and the food is amazing.
T. B.
Masala India is a fantastic addition to Leyton. The food is delicious (vegan naans!) and the hospitality is wonderful. We very much look forward to going back to try new dishes!
G. S.
Great service and food. This place really stands out from your average Indian restaurant.
C. C.
Great tasting menu. Delicious food
A. S.
Every different Tiffin dish (tapas like) has a deep home made and different great flavour cooked up by the mother of the family serving it up to you.
M. S.
Absolutely delicious! Wonderful, friendly service and awesome food. So much vegan choice too. Can't wait to go back.
A. H.
This is our favourite local restaurant. The staff are really friendly, the food is delicious and it's great value. Highly recommended
T. V.
Always lovely vegan Indian food and really friendly staff!
K. K.
What a fantastic place to go to. We loved the food, service and ambience. Loads of vegan and vegetarian options. Will come back very soon.
C. W.
The best Indian food Ive had for a long time with a slightly different take on the subject. A nice space at the back is ideal this hot summer.
C. H.
Brilliant. Every time we've been here it's always as good as the last, brilliant food and the owners are lovely people.
a. p.
Absolutely wonderful discovery. Fabulous food and such friendly owners. Do go once they reopen after lockdown.
A. B.
Very fast and friendly service, food was fantastic. Wanted to come here for a good year and I can honestly say it didn’t disappoint. Recommended.
E. F.
Lovely family run restaurant with a delicious menu. Have been several times and am always ready to go back again!
m. W.
Delicious meal, tried the tiffin meal, a varied choice from the menu. Highly recommend the tiffin menu. Will definitely visit again.
J. H.
My favourite place to eat in Leyton! Such tasty food and friendly service. The lamb curry is amazing.
D. A.
Exceptional food and the owners are lovely. Gosht salan and chicken methi divinely unctious. As good as it gets. Go.
B. M.
Excellent curry! The tiffen menu was great. Good selection.
Very nice staff.
Highly recommend!

Absolutely delicious food, and lovely staff - up there with the best Indian I’ve eaten in London

This is by far the best Indian I've had in the area, and I've tried quite a few. Very fresh and tasty, will definitely be back.

Our local and favourite Indian! For starters we shared the Samosa Chaat and the Pani Puri. For mains I opted for the Meat Lovers Tiffin and chose the Kala Bhuna, Sag Aloo, Lamb chops and Porota. Every time we visit we make a point of picking different options for the tiffin, you really can't go wrong with anything you pick, everything is delicious! Props as always to Shaheen for his friendly hospitality and his wife Rumi who is the master cook!

Sag aloo was tastier than any previously consumed.
Prawns and aubergine with bean a disappointment.
Generally ok.
Service good.
