My favourite bottomless brunch place. The location very closed to Clapham Common station, not even 5 min walking. The restaurant is huge, there is even a tree in the middle of the back room- WOW!! We really enjoyed the vegetarian breakfast but also the open plant-based kebab, it was very tasty and the “meat” was perfect both flavour and texture wise. The halloumi fries yummy with honey glazing. My friend did not enjoy the eggs royal, apparently they were too salty for him- we told the waitress and we were positively surprised to see it was removed from the bill at the time to pay. The bottomless is a very good value for money and the glasses are topped up constantly. The place is also dog friendly 🐶 I am looking forward to visit the other locations!

Lovely location, decoration, and staff. We felt very welcomed and had a lovely table by the tree in the middle of the room. One downside is that we believe they forgot to add our order in the system as the two tables in front of us who order after us got their food first and even finished their food whilst we were still waiting. We ended up staying there for longer, more than 2 hours.

@megansrestaurants had a joint birthday bench. The food was absolutely brilliant. Great coffee (make sure to try a Spanish latte) and and drinks. Excellent portion sizes and a good variety in the menu. The staff are very attentive and polite. Recommend booking on a weekend as they get extremely busy. This place is very very dog friendly and great for dog owners. Please let them know before hand if your brining your pooch!

LOVELY VEGAN BRUNCH. The food was great and the decor was so nice! Great to have a long brunch and chat/catch up with some friends! Staff are also lovely and the food came quite quickly! Cons: The toilets (although they look beautiful) were all clogged. This may have just been a one off issue though.

Great food with good vegan and vegetarian options. The Espresso Martini is made extremely sweet so if you like that fine, if you don't avoid it! Even for the area I think the drinks are a bit pricey but the food is good value and quality so balances out.

I love megans, the food and drinks are brilliant. I regularly go here (or one on the many other locations) when meeting with friends or if I have a visitor down and its never dissapointed. The Turkish brunch feast is a favourite which keeps us coming back. Also, they do happy hour 5-7 weeknights £5 cocktails. Service is always amazing and the atmosphere any time of day is so nice.

Came on a Wednesday - Lovely food and great service! Was a bit slow when it came to the the paying but not too fussed about it. The food was tasty (well seasoned) and I think it was reasonably priced overall. The ambiance/decor is so cute but be weary that if you’re placed near a group of people doing bottomless brunch it can get quite loud. All in all I would definitely recommend and would come back.

I have been to this Megan’s multiple times , probably about 5/6 times now and the food has always been delicious and to a good standard . I especially enjoy the posh lamb doner kebab, the eggs benedict, the Turkish steak and chips and the lemon&rosemary cake. All the sides are great as well such as the hash brown rostis, garlic mushrooms , halloumi fries and sucuk . Cocktails are also nice , particularly the espresso martini . However , only downfall is that the service is often slow . It has been busy the times I have went , however it seems as though the waiters are inexperienced and have no idea what they’re doing . Last time we came , service was so slow that we got a discount on our drinks that took 45 minutes to come and a free dessert to compensate . This time things were slightly better but service was still slow . As I think that the atmosphere is great , decor is beautiful and the food is lovely , I will still be coming back because I understand that it can be a bit stressful when it’s busy .

Went here for breakfast yesterday in a party of 9 with no reservation. We were immediately welcomed and accommodated. The ceiling was adorned in vines and flowers and thick rope was arranged in links over the bar which added to the light and l cheery vibe. Dogs were also being welcomed and everyone seemed relaxed and comfortable. There is such an extensive menu which combines the very best of Turkish with lots to please a less adventurous palette. It was obviously a huge order with sides but the waiter was amazing - so warm, attentive and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was top class and the bill was very reasonable. I would definitely return to Megan's and would highly recommend others to do so too.

Best place to be! Literally! A wonderful Mediterranean restaurant with a large amount of dining and seating spots, with delicious choices of salads bowls, brunch, desserts, posh kebabs and drink options! A place to be whether you want to eat or drink or even relax and work. Price range are decent not too expensive or too cheap, just right! Tip: To all you selfie lovers! Come down to take some beautiful photos, even their downstairs area near the toilets have many choices for you too. All customers are welcome, dog friendly too! You can book in advance or walk in (depends on time you want to walk in, avoid the busy hours) There's a bar code on the table for their menu, once you decide what you want, they will come and do table service and take your order.

Just lovely! My offsprings took me to Megan's for my birthday. Although I live locally, I wasn't aware of the restaurant, so hadn't been before. I was very pleasantly surprised because I wasn't expecting the beautiful decor, including an olive tree trimmed with lights, the mirrored and fairylight stairway, or the spacious yet intimate setting. The food was on point. We all had different dishes and everyone enjoyed theirs, whether vegan, vegetarian, or meat/fish eaters. The staff were very hospitable, friendly and courteous, making sure we had what we needed. I would definitely visit again and recommend.

Lovely spot. We had breakfast here and were blown away by not only the amazing spring Mediterranean fairy ground decor and ambiance but the food was amazing! I visited a different Megan's venue last week and was disappointed so was feeling apprehensive for this visit but I was overjoyed that It was a great experience. I’ve often visited Megan’s in Balham and this was the first time in Clapham. The venue is lovely on the Common. It is kind of an outdoor covered wooden construction building but seems to work although is a little draughty. The food was great although the menu seems more restricted compared to Balham? The customer service, whilst very friendly, wasn’t quite at the level of Balham. Overall a great lunch experience and will definitely return.

Lovely environment and atmosphere. Really tasty food, but quite expensive for what it is, you can spend a good wedge and leave hungry. Coffee is not great, especially relative to some of the other coffee you can get in nearby places. Also, most intense music playlist ever is always playing - they always have a playlist of cover songs - everyone out to prove what they can do, its fairly exhausting. 3 stars for nice food and the environment.

My only critique is when the restaurant’s closure time is earlier than usual it would be helpful to put a visible notice to inform customers when they arrive.

Came for a bottomless brunch. Can’t fault the service as they would fill up the glasses the moment they dipped below full. The reason for the reduced rating would be their pricing on their food. I had a shakshouka which was fairly expensive but was tasty enough that the price was somewhat justified. However the fries with some crumbled bits of feta and mince which were £6.50 were simply unjustified. How they can charge so much for such a small bowl of fries with a meagre amount of extra topping was unbelievable. Either increase the portion size or drop the price.

Went to Megan's Clapham Old Town with a friend at their recommendation. The Vegan options are amazing! I tried the Plant Based 'Chckn' Shakshouka Kebab (pictured) and also some of my friends Plant Based 'Chkn' Open Kebab. Both were amazing and I cant wait to come back and try something else. The venue itself is beautiful and the staff couldnt have been nicer - can't wait to come back!

Loved the venue and the staff were friendly. Only disappointment is that the service was slow despite there only being a couple of other customers eating. There's been many reviews over the past 6 months or so commenting on service so it's a shame to see those reviews have been ignored and no improvement has been made. We had to get up and find someone to order more drinks and were quite tempted to leave the venue without paying as I honestly believe no one would have noticed. Lovely place enjoyed a wonderful bottomless brunch. Food was lovely, options were great. The music as well just made it a fun place for a big group of mates. I was given a chicken kebab when I had ordered a vegan chickn kebab, which was not on. The difference between chicken and chickn doesn't bother me as much as say with lamb/vg lamb, so I didn't want to make a fuss. But please can this be avoided in future as to not have to give me or others the uncomfortable decision on if to be 'that guy' or not.

Amazing brunch at Megan's. Gorgeous decor inside, service was brilliant and the food was divine. I love strong coffee and my double macchiatto was perfect, smooth but coffee with a kick. I Went for the veggie brunch - eggs were cooked to perfection and everything flavoured perfectly. The mushrooms were 👌🏼👌🏼 I will most definitely be going back! We also got the salted caramel Nutella cookie and be pistachio cake to go - both excellent choices!

Beautiful place and food! The restaurant is massive so it’s quite easy to find a table. I got the Veggie Brunch and my friend the Shakshouka, both amazing. The staff is really friendly and welcoming. Prices are super reasonable. The only star missing is because the service was a bit slow and we had to ask for the bill twice. We also got a £3 chorizo added to the Shakshouka (we initially thought it was included in the dish but then realize it’d been actually added without requesting it), but we got a £3.50 food discount (don’t know why!) so no reason to complain. Overall very nice place!

We came here for a friend's birthday brunch and our waitress (Annette) introduced herself and warmly welcomed us. It was 11.20am and we asked to order from the lunch menu that started at 11.30am. She said she would bring our drinks over first and wait until 11.30am to put the order through. She then came back and informed us that the kitchen was going through the change over of menus so there would be a slight delay on the food but to make up for it she could bring us a dessert at the end. We actually didn't take her up on the offer as we were so full but really appreciated the gesture. She was extremely attentive and also recommended returning for the bottomless brunch on the weekend. The food was absolutely delicious - we each ordered variations of the Shakshouka - and there's plenty of veggie and vegan options so caters for all diets. Another waiter kindly took our photo and as we left all the bar staff wished us goodbye too. The whole experience was fantastic and felt so very genuine - we will definitely be returning! We went for a bottomless brunch for our friends birthday and as always had the best time! The staff are incredibly attentive - I always had a full glass, and they’re also so friendly. They even allowed me to bring some cupcakes ahead of time and they brought them out with a candle as a surprise for the birthday girl which we really appreciated. Came across this spot for a first date. The interior is really gorgeous and comes alive in the evening. The service was fantastic, we were really looked after. It's really comfortable/cosy and not loud, so you can hold a conversation. The food and drinks are reasonably priced. I would definitely go to Megan's again. A better experience than the other Megan's on the common. The food was delicious and would recommend the Turkish brunch. The cheese and Nutella on the plates was a great idea. The welcome wasn't great, but our waitress and waiter were very nice. Downside? I don't want to sign up to your emails to access free WiFi. It was a turn off to be honest. Also, the portion of Croquettes was very small compared to the picture... That's the second time that's happened to me!

Had a great Eggs Benedict here, with hash browns which came as “tater tot” style which were also tasty. Mocha was fantastic and reasonably priced. Decor was great and it would make a lovely date spot. Filtered water either still or sparkling was £1 pp unlimited refills. Probably not worth it for still as tap still available but good value for sparkling. I like they let dogs in here, but then I love dogs!

I cannot talk up Megan's enough. The service was warm, friendly, and extremely prompt, the staff were extremely accomodating to our 10 month old Beagle (he got a lot of attention!), the food was absolutely terrific! Had the open kebab which was lovely however really wanted prawns but that is only something they do after 5pm which I found weird. Maybe they are not heavily stocked with prawns so will sell out... either way, I was disappointed. Pimms was refreshing and quite cheap for a pitcher of it.

Really great service. Having a sesame allergy at a Turkish restaraunt is understandably complex, and the staff dealt with my dietary requirements wonderfully, with helpful suggestions about what I could eat, and making sure to double check everything with the chef. I visited Megan's at Clapham Old Town for a friend's birthday on Wednesday 30 September 2020, and the experience was fantastic. Apart from the exceptional and inventive food - and the best Virgin Mary I have ever tasted - we were served by one a wonderful waiter named Eva. She was knowledgeable about the menu, engaging, and made the experience all the better. Members of the floor staff brought a candle-lit cake to the table and joined in the Happy Birthday song with us. The whole staff follows impeccable social distancing measures, which also made us feel safe. Amazing! :)

I have been a fan of Megan’s for quite a while. I have grown out of my alcoholic fuelled & take away junkie nights to appreciate the amazing food and service from Megan’s. I have since tried three of their venues with the Old Clapham one being my favourite. Amazing healthy food without making the effort to stay healthy. So relaxed and spacious. Lovely place to brunch/lunch with friends. Perfectly decored...cost yet light and bright. Mix of seating areas/arrangements. Amazing menu. Reasonable prices. Wasn't keen on the mixed toilets...something off putting about putting your lippy on then one of the (male) chefs walks in for a wee! Didn't seem many toilets given the size of the place. Food was lovely and the staff were very flexible....you could basically have whatever you wanted. Portions sizes were on the light size though. Fine for me, but husband/sons would have left hungry. Fortunately they were not with me...so a lovely belini kept me company instead! Overall, a sure vet if you want a really nice venue to meet friends, or somewhere to hang out alone.

I went to Megan’s Old town to celebrate a birthday. We had a problem with our birthday cakes but the team responded promptly and helped to fix the issue. Martin and Shiraz are incredibly professional, kind and just outstanding. They know how to manage a tricky situation and how to reverse it. These 2 employees should be promoted to restaurant GM as they are truly exceptional I definitely recommend the place for dinner/brunch and also for drinks/coffee. One tip if I can: I think the menu should be more versatile to adapt to different tastes as the market is very competitive out there. E.g since you offer a Mediterranean cuisine you could play with several cuisines from different countries (Spanish, Italian, Greek, French, Lebanese, plus some less popular med cuisines)and offer a wider range of flavours and vegetables. The menu suffers a bit but could easily be improved as the staff is great. Thanks again for everything

Really underwhelming. We came in for the bottomless brunch and it was so busy we only ended up getting about 4 glasses of Prosecco in. The staff were more concerned about reminding us we had to leave straight after we’d finished instead of topping up our drinks (they came over 3 times in the first 20 minutes of us being seated to tell us that we had to leave at 2pm). The food was so overcooked I left half of it. It’s really aesthetic over substance.

I came here for brunch with a friend and the food was great (save room for dessert, it’s worth it). The atmosphere is relaxed and the perfect vibe for brunch. They only lost a star because service was patchy. We were greeted at the door by a really friendly man and showed to the bar to wait for a table (which we expected as we didn’t have a reservation and had heard it was a popular weekend spot). But person behind the bar ignored us even after we asked to order drinks. (We were 2 of 3 people at the bar and the first person already had a drink). When she finally acknowledged us and took orders she did so with an attitude. To be clear, neither me or my friend were rude and pushy with this person. When we were shown to a table the waitress also ignored us and it took a long time order. However, the food was delicious so we wanted to stay and share a dessert, it also took a very long time to make this order. The only reason we waited was because we’d planned a lazy Saturday brunch and didn’t have plans for the afternoon. It’s a lovely place if you have time to wait.

Amazing brunch, but the service is what made it. Clementine went above and beyond- at one point a member of the team choked on their Eggs Royale and the rest of our table froze in horror. Reader, she sprinted across the restaurant, Prosecco still in hand with a Santa hat perched perkily on top of her head and I have never seen anyone perform a heimlich so quickly or so gracefully. Possibly the greatest server I have had the pleasure to meet in my 45 years of dining. 5 stars.

UPDATE (pt.2): just want to update this review as I did return and have much better service the second time which was great and once again food was amazing and everything came together. Review (pt.1) Came across this restaurant on a busy Saturday and stumbled in looking for a table for four, we had a 30 minute wait for a table and got a lovely seat on the sofas accompanied with table service and drinks brought by a friendly lady who got us involved in some fancy bottle pouring. We then got seated on a larger table which gave us some extra room and were served not too long after. I noticed that the waitress didn't write our order down so politely went over the order with her at the end just to check she had everything. Our food came in quite good time and was absolutely delicious! But our sides were missing. After asking about them the waitress was very apologetic and went to check on them, unfortunately by the time they turned up we had all completely finished our meals. The sides were deducted from the bill and two puddings were brought out in good will. Which sort of cancelled out the service charge which is added to the bill. I asked my friends who have all had a similar experience, just give the staff something to take orders on and this would have gotten 5*.

At the entrance you are welcomed by masked front of house person (which is perfect for me, loads of restaurants don't give a flying f... about that small change that can help a lot), then you are asked to use hand sanitizer. After small chat, we were lead to the table outside (on our request) . The stuff was super attentive and patient, considering the fact that they worked non stop since 15/07. Imagine that(!), so please be nice to people working in hospitality! Megan's for me is always a reminder of childhood flavours. You can be selfish or you can share all the dishes. Their houmous is divine, pickles just perfect, juices fresh and packed with vitamins and service beyond excellent. I understand loads of people complain about packed restaurants, but aren't you the problem? I think those malcontents would be more annoyed if they would be turned back. Try to see how hard they are working (Megan's staff) to bring some yummy joy into your day.

Lovely experience from start to finish! Easily able to book online, no waiting to be seated. Friendly staff explained how the menus worked (online due to covid) and took our orders quickly. Wouldn’t recommend for bottomless brunch though, at megans they offer three choices of drinks (bloody Mary’s, pimms and prosecco) but whatever drink you start with you have to continue for the entire 1.5 hours. Not great considering there are so many other places in the area offering a very generous bottomless brunch with plenty of different drink options! Service was a bit slow and I am not sure I understand the seating plan. We were told it was a 40 minute wait for a table, but we pointed and asked if we could habe that empty table and she said yes.....it was still table service and we could ordet from the same menu, so no idea what sort of table we would have been waiting 40 mins on. Once we sat down it was really difficult to get staff attention to order or pay the bill, even though there were lots of them just standing around chatting.

Nice interior, lovely food and friendly staff. However, the only let down is there is no drink offers such as happy hour. The Clapham branch is surrounded by bars and restaurants such as The Jam Tree, Minnow and Be At One who all offer this so naturally enough people prefer to go to these places as they can get a drink for half the price rather than fork out full price on a cocktail. It's a shame to walk by most evenings and see this place not as full as it should be as it has so much more potential.
