Reviews of Mildreds Camden

Very busy place ...for a reason 👍🏻💓
Delicious food, I really enjoyed my meal and I'm not even vegetarian.
Meals taste fresh, portions are filling and I like the presentation as well. Prices are reasonable.
Totally recommend.
S. B.
Visited as a walk in on a weekend evening, the restaurant was busy but able to accommodate. I am not vegan. The hummus starter was amazing - so smooth and tasty and the bread was also delicious. The Korean chicken burger was lovely, a good texture to the chicken making it taste alot like chicken. The kuftas were not as good and were just grates carrots mashed together, I didn't enjoy this dish as much. It was a good experience. I would prob visit again to try the other things on the menu. It is difficult to get the attention of staff - maybe they were short staffed due to covid, but still very friendly.

Hi everyone, if you’re on here looking for a good vegan restaurant in London- this is it! This is without doubt the best vegan restaurant in London- and I’ve tried a fair few! I live nearby, and have had so many meals here over the years. Every single time, the food is inventive, balanced, flavoursome, diverse and delicious.
Unlike a lot of vegan restaurants, Mildreds do not keep anything off limits. There are fake meats like their mind-blowing chicken skewers for those who miss meat, and more whole-food offerings like sri lankan curries or miso mushroom salads for those who want more of a vegetable focus. Desserts and cocktails are really creative, with flavour inspirations from all around the world.
They do not feel the need to cater to either the mega vegan junk food market, nor the super health-conscious extreme. It is just well balanced, satisfying food focused on flavours.
Everything I eat here is a dish I’ve never seen anywhere else (unlike the butternut squash risottos and beyond burgers of the world.)
The pricing is very reasonable for the quality of food: it feels like a fancy treat. The ambience in the restaurant is lovely, dimly lit with candals, something I find to be lacking in a lot of other all-vegan places (though I have to confess being in their delivery zone is not kind to my wallet).
Thank you Mildreds for showcasing how fantastic vegan food can be. 💚

Couldn't be more pleased! Found this place by accident, very friendly staff, absolutely amazing food and affordable prices! Neither me or my friend are even vegetarian and we can't wait to come back. 😃
Only one thing that we would love to see improved were the cocktails but even these were good
Will be thinking about the gochujang mayo for weeks 🤤
N. M.
Had an amazing time! Food was lovely, decent portions and fantastic cocktails. The service was just excellent, everyone was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Will be coming back again!

The food was well made and presented. The coffee was good. The service was good. All 3 of us has the Ruben and only one liked it. One didn't finish it and I struggled through it. I found the texture and combination of flavours unpalatable.
I would go back and would try something else.
S. Y.
Giving four stars even though had some issues with the food. But because the service here was very good even though they were quite busy, I think it deserves a higher rating than just based off of the food alone. The staff was very attentive and prompt with bringing out the food.
Got the bbq ranch chick’n burger which was pretty good. (Had the bbq sauce on the side so I could add what I wanted to the burger and skipped the red onions.) The chick’n was perfectly crunchy on the outside without being oily. I didn’t like the bun for the burger though - it was so airy, without any substance at all. The fries and garlic aioli were good - fries were not greasy or too salty at all.
Starter was the hummus and amba which my waitress recomendad. But I didn’t like it. Not only was it a bit spicy for my taste but I couldn’t get any apricot flavor from the amba or harissa. The worst was the pita though. While it was nice that they grilled it, it was incredibly salty. It felt like I was eating more salt than bread. Also there wasn’t enough pita bread for the amount of hummus they gave.
Dessert was the caramel cheesecake which I had before at the King’s Cross location. Was good but they didn’t add as much garnishes as the one I had at King’s Cross.
I would still come back to this location since I really liked the staff. I would just not order some of the things again.
E. K.
As a non vegan i dare to say that i was actually pleasantly surprised. The top picks for me was the aubergine tiganites and the white chocolate tiramisu. The best tiramisu i have ever tried so airy and yet so so tasty.
K. M.
What a superb meal we had! The Sri Lankan curry has been on my mind ever since, unfortunately, I had also ordered the sublime aubergine starter and struggled to fit this all in my belly, not for the lack of trying!! My daughters had the gyoza and what a triumph they were! So silky and smooth, top marks to the chef. Service was friendly and efficient, atmosphere was buzzing and the gin was good as well. We will definitely be back and recommending it to anyone visiting London until that time. Many thanks for such an enjoyable dining experience.

A lovely place in a vibrant part of London. Mildreds has a wide selection of vegan food, and my selection was delicious. The wine was also excellent. The staff were highly attentive and very nice. I had ordered a birthday cake through the website, which was absolutely lovely. They also provided candles free of charge (which was nice as the large cake cost £60).
G. L. (.
Consistently delicious and good looking VEGAN food, friendly & attentive staff, beautiful space that is dog friendly. Mildred's is a must visit for vegans and non-vegans.
D. M.
This place is sublime, great for a nice vegan lunch or, dinner. The old fashioned cocktail is a treat and, my partner described it as 'the best she has ever had'. Thank you! You guys never fail to deliver.
P. 3.
Food was delicious, long gone are the days when vegetarian diet meant we had to sacrifice the taste ⭐⭐⭐⭐
The service was really good. I was going through rather painful episode of dyskinesia from the anti-Parkinson's meds. To anyone who has no idea what is happening I would appear somewhat alarming, and rude due to my mood, speech impediment etc. Much appreciation for the professional way to treat me like a customer. 🙏
C.
Ordered coconut curry. It was too thick and sweet, even my vegan friend couldn't finish it because of its taste. Not authentic either. Generous portion but it was just too much.
E. B.
Fabulous place! We went to Camden after a considerable amount of time so we didn't really know where to go, but this place was a blessing! The Passion Fruit Cocktails were fabulous, soaked up by a beautiful tofu pad Thai that was super filling:)) Will be coming back!
C. F.
Great service and menu. Ordered the Tofu Pad Thai which was very nice, and my friends enjoyed their meals too. I think the drinks are a little over priced, considering they were tiny!
N. M.
Delicious place for vegan / vegetarian fare and interesting cocktails. The pappardelle and the fritters are excellent.
V. N.
It was honestly lovely. Very nice service, delicious food and we didn’t have a problem to find a table despite not booking anything. Most delicious vegan food and the coffee was very nice too - perfect espresso. I’ve never been disappointed by Mildred’s in Camden!
D. K.
Nice and cosy ambient. Workers polite and professional. I missed more taste and spices in the both meals we had.
A. T.
Nom nom!!! I am not on a plant based diet, but me and some friends went here to celebrate my sassy self and I will definitely be returning to try some of their other dishes. We had the big breakfast and it was delicious. I don't know what sort of black magic they did to the tofu, but it mimics the taste and texture of scrambled eggs to perfection. The plant based sausage had great flavour. I am very picky when it comes to bloody Mary's, and this one was just right. The staff was friendly too, but you probably want to get there somewhere around noon so you have their full attention 😉
C. A.
Divine food and great service. Marco was above and beyond. The professionality and kindness made the whole experience superb.
The food was served promptly, cooked well and hot. The meals are appealing to the eye, surprisingly filling and each flavour was a celebration in the mouth. I am not vegetarian and find easily the best restaurant in London. Can't wait to tell the world about this gem!!
D. R.
Delicious food, great cocktails, friendly staff, lovely, plant-filled space. This was our first visit to one of the "new" Mildreds (outside of the original Mildreds in Soho), and it was even better than we remembered. Mildreds have a knack at serving healthy, reasonably priced, plant-based food, in a way that is colourful and full of flavour and feels like a proper treat (even to my fairly carnivorous other half!).
E. E.
Amazing service, Charly was lovely, very attentive, and made us feel comfortable, the food was divine too. Would definitely recommend... also there was another chap, didn't catch his name but he sparkled with personality also, everyone was very knowledgeable with the menu... overall I had a lovely dinner experience and look forward to returning again soon :)
V.
We ordered a take away and were quite surprised with the quality of food.
It's probably on the expensive end but the quality is there and there's clearly an effort to present a varied and interesting menu, that will satisfy a broad range of individual.
We loved the flavourful cabbage and the curry. We were a bit disappointed with the winter root slaw (a bit bland and watery) and would have loved another piece of pita for our delicious hummous.
The dessert was also very good and thoughtfully packaged, even if I found the pudding a tad too sweet for my liking.
Overall a great meal, plus recyclable packaging - we'll order again!
P. N.
Had a lovely time here with friends. Good measures in place to prevent spread of virus. The staff were really friendly, attentive and looked after us well. I had the coconut curry and absolutely loved it! Definitely recommend the dish and the sticky toffee pudding for dessert. 😍 Treat yourself people!
G. O.
Can't say enough good things. First - you must try the gyoza! The staff are super friendly, the food and cocktails are wonderful, the portions are food, and the price is right. So glad I got to experience it!
D. K.
One of my favourite vegan restaurants in London. Good food. Friendly staff. Can absolutely recommend.
A. J.
The cocktails were really good but the food was just okay, nothing wow
T. V.
Good food and nice staff, had the Bokkeumbap and Kiri hodi. They were both delicious.
N. G.
Lovely restaurant just off from the hustle and bustle of the high street. We ordered the vegetarian chicken burgers which where just above average.
N. K.
Never tried proper restaurant vegan cuisine. My nieces have been telling me so much about it. Mildreds was very good. Food good and service and very friendly atmosphere.
Must mention, if anytime you're in Plymouth you must try COSMIC KITCHEN, awesome! 😋❤
F. A.
Amazing food and staff. Pleasant settings. Great recommendations. Yummy yummy. We will be returning.
N. N.
Great food and atmosphere! Tried the Turkish red lentil kofte which was fantastic. Staff are really friendly and made a big effort to accommodate me. Definitely recommend
A. I.
Our first time to Mildreds, Amazing plant-based food and the service was above and beyond thanks to Marco who was very nice and helpful!
J. K.
A good location in Camden. I've given this 4 rather than 5* as despite the food being good, I much preferred the experience at the Soho branch I visited about 2 months ago.
The dinner room was very loud, felt quite hectic and the tables seemed very crammed in. There was also some additional "charges" added to our bill that would've been nice to have told about when we were given our bill (helps to prevent bill shock).
Overall food was still very nice, but the experience wasn't as magical as when I went previously.
D. S.
We are always coming back, absolutely loving this place! The food is absolutely delicious and they have a new dessert on the menu, which is to die for! It’s the best vegan cheesecake we’ve ever tried. Not too nutty, and tastes like the real deal! Also artichokes is another dish that I love and never want to share with anyone.
This pictures are from brunch.
The only bad thing that we could think of is that service is a little bit slow and on several occasions we had to wait for the bill for about 15 minutes, but otherwise it’s an amazing restaurant! Will recommend 100%
G. H. (. Y. E.
Blown away by the food flavors. Absolutely delicious!!!! I don’t live here but if I did I would frequent. Wow! Service was amazing as well.
Must try the fresh juices and the teriyaki burger... the fries were fresh and crispy as fries should be. I am totally satisfied. Good size portion and I didn’t even miss actual meat - it was that good.
R. A.
Lovely meal and service. Wide menu choice and tasted great!
L. H.
The food here is really good. The soul bowl was delicious and as we were in a group we ordered seven of the starters and they were all really lovely. The reason I am taking off two stars is because the staff are just really bad. We interacted with 4 members of staff and they all seemed stressed, not pleasant AT ALL and I almost felt bad when I wanted to order more drinks as they made you feel like you are bothering them. When one member of staff is poor it could just be that one person but when numerous members of staff all act so unhappy you have to wonder if it’s a poor work environment issue. Won’t be going back.
M. M.
Amazing food and atmosphere! Went with friends (non of us are vegans) and we were all blown away with our dishes and would be more than happy to book another evening out there. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional and the whole atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The watermelon and chilli cocktail was an absolute delight! Each dish was beautifully presented and extremely tasty. Would highly recommend Mildred's.
M. O.
Went there recently to try the new all vegan menu. Delighted to report that the food was as tasty and innovative as always. They were packed for a Monday, but the staff worked really hard to keep the food and drinks coming, checking in on us and making us feel really welcome. Extra thanks to Charly our main server for dealing with our various dietary needs with grace and expertise.
L. G.
Delicious food, the menu was great. I went with a friend who eats meat and she was happy with her food and said it was very tasty. Staff are very friendly and the place has a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. Great decor. I would like to go back to try more dishes off the menu. Highly recommend.
B. J.
The loveliest little spot this side of town, the Italian waiter we had was so accommodating and went out of his way - also the guy at the front for house gave us a table with no reservation and really was so kind. The food was exceptional. A must visit.
K. T.
I went out for an end of tour meal here, and I just loved the fact that everything on the menu was vegan - therefore making everything so much easier to choose from.
I only managed to capture a snap of my 'Blackberry Rosemary Margarita', which was pleasantly strong and I cannot complain about that!
The icing on the cake though (quite literally) was the 'Faux-rerro Fudge Cake' which was to die for.
Due to this, I will be returning with my partner for New Year's. Lovely staff also. Highly recommend!
A. P.
As a self confesed carnivore I am happily adding Mildreds vegetarian and vegan menu to my list of favourites spots in Camden. The menu is surprisingly varied and the dishes fresh and full of flavour.
The Kimchi noddles (£13) was a great mix of hoisin tofu, stir fried veg and crispy onions. The Kashmiri Cauliflower (£6.50) made a humble cauliflower comes to life with coconut yogurt, coriander & green chilli chutney. The only area for improvement is the saggy and oily sweet potato fries. If you are after fresh and varied vegetarian and vegan dishes, give Mildreds a try.
Y. K. P.
Mildreds in Camden is one of the top vegan restaurants in London. The restaurant is conveniently located off Camden High Street and is set within a modern glass cladded building. The restaurant is contemporarily design, clean and welcoming. The food is extremely delicious, fresh and enticingly presented. I would highly recommend this to any friends and family. The staff were very friendly, nice and helpful.
s. g.
I'm not a vegan so can't comment on the quality of the food but the restaurant is lovely, had a great atmosphere (went on a Saturday night) and the service was excellent.
V. W.
Vegan/Vegetarian Heaven! The food is absolutely delicious. The menu is very extensive. The service is great as they seem happy to accommodate every needs. The interior design is a bit too bland. Very vegan restaurant-y. Still, the overall experience is very good.
S. E.
Fantastic vegan food, as you would expect from Mildred's. Nice decor and vibe in this location, and lovely attentive staff when I've visited twice recently.
S. H.
Delicious soul bowl salad! Dressing is unbelievable, super quick service!
T. M.
Healthy and Tastes good!
Popped in the Mildreds for lunch, usually I am quite skeptical of vegan or vegetarian restaurants, as i do eat meat. However the food was amazing! i had the mac and cheese with a burger. Both dishes full of flavor and beautifully presented.
J. P.
I adore Mildred's so much. Always look forward to having the food there as it is just quite simply delicious. It's a place where there is so much choice for vegans. Really hope that place continue to grow and thrive the way it has. Staff are able to give polite professional service. There is a nice a variety of food. I had the jerk "chicken". This tasted gorgeous especially the plantain on the side. My girlfriend had the plantain curry which was delicious. The food is always so beautifully presented
C. S.
Food is tasty and the staff is very nice and efficient but I find the indoor area way too noisy... it feels like being in a canteen...it lacks a vibe, it does not feel cosy...
C. R.
Really delicious food with clearly marked up allergen menu available - plenty of veggie, vegan and gluten free options. Their vegan friendly basil mayo is really yum. Generous portions. Excellent coffee. Nice, airy layout with friendly, knowledgeable, helpful service. Three mains, three large sides, three puds, several coffees were £80 with service (which is fine for a nice, large lunch in London we figured). Only really minor, slightly negative comment is that your outdoor sign (red on green) is really hard for colourblind people to read! Just something to bear in mind if you ever renovate!!
C. P.
Absolutely divine food, beautifully presented and perfectly sized portions ..couldn't fault it...The service from the very lovely Ella (blue hair) was fantastic too...she made us feel very welcome and was friendly and charming. A great experience, will definitely be back :)
M. P.
Food and service is incredible, i cannot fault in the slightest.
However, there is an infestation of small flies which were buzzing around us. I have attached a picture of them resting on the wall.
I hope you sort this; because otherwise it’d be a solid 5 stars+!
J. A.
Had a lovely time here!
Food was great and very tasty!
And on top of that can I shout out Marco! What a lovely, hard working efficient gentleman. Was so busy yet he managed to make sure we had a lovely time. You should be proud to have a member of staff like him!
Thank you!
D. K.
Top-notch vegan fare in a variety of styles. Simple but relaxing decor in a popular stretch of road near Camden Market. Staff is attentive and helpful, without feeling pushy or reflecting the hectic nature of the neighborhood.
J. P.
The food is exceptional and the staff are very nice. The seating area isn’t massive, so be prepared to wait during peak times. It’s a bit expensive if you add things like cheese and avocado or want fries with your burger, as they don’t come as standard. The burgers are also rather hard to eat due to how they’re stacked on the plate. Things can get messy.
S. K.
I heard the restaurant was one the best Vegan place in London and in fairness for someone who isn’t Vegan; I loved it. I ordered the Coconut Curry with rice and it tasted amazing. I highly recommend that and with the generous portion it’ll fill you up.
The only downside is the staff or waitress we had who seemed quite snappy and miserable. Maybe I was ugly who knows.
A. S.
We absolutely loved the food and service from Amber here. I wish there was a Mildreds in every town!
T. K.
I've been vegan for 5 years and I can't believe I haven't tried this place until now! I had the nachos as a starter and the BBQ ranch burger as a main, both were delicious. The service was amazing too, Amber was attentive and super helpful with recommendations, can't wait to come back.
L. A.
Like all the other branches, this restaurant is absolutely a must-try if you're vegan or like vegan food!
Their menu is outstandingly first-class and staff is speedy and super-friendly.
Delicious food ♥️
N. J.
Generous portions of delicious food. Brilliant service too... Christian in particular was exceptionally helpful.
L. T.
Really wonderful food and attentive staff. All vegan and all delicious. Had the buffalo burger, chick’n kebab and the snickers desert. Definitely worth a try
A. G.
Incredible! Great food and drink.
Great all vegan menu now. Yum.
L.
Very nice vegetarian food! Especially like the Sri Lanka curry and the special meal: Williamsburger! Highly recommend it!
Z. A.
Very good and quick service, great food and great prices too. Since going vegan I was craving something sweet and chocolatey and opted to get dessert, If you go and want dessert get the vegan brownie with ice cream. It's amazing. 😍
T. W.
My first visit to Mildred's; the halloumi burger was a little light on halloumi for my taste (it only had 2 slices of halloumi in it and significantly less halloumi to burger bun ratio than the chickn one had chickn to burger bun). The cocktails and chocolate millionaires desert were fantastic though - I'd definitely go again; the jerk tofu was much better portioned. I also enjoyed the oat milk iced coffee; I'd not had oat milk before and was pleasantly surprised!
B. J.
Tried the bao and miso soup (part of veguanary menu). Both were good though I would have liked a lil more spice. Will try other items again soon.
A. K.
Definitely my favourite vegan restaurant. There's a few of them around London and all offer high quality food and drinks.
Try their Katsu Chicken and Salted Caramel Espresso Martini.
C. H.
The food was okay, very limited choices on gluten free options though. There is an allergy menu but does not seem to really cater for it. It is a bit pricy with the food and portion.
P. J.
Fantastic vegetarian and vegan food. We came here for dinner on a Thursday and were glad we arrived just before 7pm. We got a table quite easily although we had no reservation. By 7.30pm there was not a table for 4 to be had, and hardly a table at all. The atmosphere was great: busy, bustling and friendly; but the service was attentive but not overbearing - perfect. We were all hungry and so we decided to simply order main courses so they would come quickly. Before we ordered a complimentary carafe of tap water was placed on the table for us. We ordered the Sri Lankan sweet potato curry, the mushroom and ale pie, and 2 of the kimchi broth. All the portions were generous and extremely tasty. The pie was very hearty, filling, warning and enjoyable. The curry was wonderfully flavoursome, not hot but nicely spiced. The creaminess of the coconut cream was cut through by the tomato sambal and the toasted cashew nuts provided a lovely crunchy texture to top it off. Our daughters had a mocktail each and both lovely them. Dinner without a starter for 4 cost us £60 including 1 drink each (and multiple carafes of water) and the service charge. A wonderful night out.

this is an amazing place! beautiful ! it really deserve 5 stars: dining in is amazing and take away is the best i have had in my life so far. i feel its so good for health to eat there, it’s tasty and hey man its vegan!
save the planet!
cow farts are having impact on global warming

I had a late lunch with my sister on the BH Monday. The vegan Korean chick burger was delicious, so was the wine and the sticky toffee pudding! The staff were friendly, polite professional and accomodating. The atmosphere was relaxing.I will definitely be returning here again!
E. V.
Absolutely love this place! Amazing selection of food and cocktails and everything is delicious. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. A little pricey but that's standard for Camden!
A.
Food was delicious and there was plenty to choose from the menu. Also cocktails were lovely. The service was great. I would recommend reserving as it was quite busy. Staff are very friendly.
S. R.
Great food, good portions , and nice cocktails. Outdoor eating space was lovely too
A. K.
Just wow! I haven't realised that vegan dishes could be so delicious! Highly recommend.
Just font order burgers ... you are not at steak house- it is vegan restaurant.
E. B.
Just had my first experience at mildreds. The food was perfect, the juices were freshhhh. The music was diverse and the atmosphere was topped of with some great service, each one smiling and enjoying their saturday work in the atmosphere! the guy front of house and our serveur Charly made it clear that we will be back again for some more pretty damn soon. thanks Mildreds Camden
K. g.
Great food and excellent service! Our waitress Alex was a key part of our experience here as she make us feel at home and welcome. We will be back very soon! Thanks Alex! Food was awesome!
M. A.
Amazing vegan food, good atmosphere, cute interior design and great service (Ella was super kind and attentive!). 10/10 would recommend.
T. J.
A bit pricey but great food.
P. R.
Really good vegetarian menu, just pricey. The chicken buffalo burger is tasty (it’s made with soy, no meat!) and the fries are some of the best in town. The dumplings are fine but not impressive.
M. A.
Food was decent. Over priced and hyped - was recommend by a friend to try their Vegan Sri Lankan curry and was really underwhelmed. Customer service wasn’t fantastic at this branch; took a very long time to get attention.
T. E.
Loved the humus starter and kebabs!
Never had a vegan creme brulee but it was great also. Definitely need to return.
E. L.
An airy and bright atmosphere with fantastic vegan fare. We tried both waffles on offer and loved them - particularly the smokey mock chicken. The staff and coffee were also lovely. I'll definitely be returning.
M. K.
Yummy vegan food. Quick and friendly service. We were too full for a dessert but it looked delicious on the table next to us. Go there and try it yourself. I feel like a Mildred (Google it in the urban dictionary) 😊
A. -. A. A.
Excellent service, loved the ambience and mazing tasty food. We were server by Thembi her excellent knowledge of the menu and explanation of each dish heled immensely. Cant wait to go again - I recommend this vegan restaurant very highly.
M. D. M.
Unbelievably delicious. My meal was absolutely perfect. The service was great and the atmosphere adorable. I highly recommend this place
D. S.
OMG! Delicious food for everyone, even the most devout meat lover of our group could not get over how lovely the food was, to the point of not missing the meat at all in the burrito. As for my meal of the sweet potato curry, i found myself wishing i had a few more stomachs, portions are pretty big. I still have space for a vegan brownie though, which was absolutely devine. I thought i hated nuts in desserts but on this brownie i just couldn't get enough.
E. L.
Great prices, all servers are upbeat and friendly. Even if there is a queue, you can grab a drink of beer, wine or cocktail at the bar.
Starters, I had egg plant, aka Auburgine, Gyoza aka pot stickers, and hummus. All good. Main: Sri Lanka Curry. I recommend it all.
T. Y.
Average. Wasn't as good as flagship Covent Garden restaurant. Their Buffalo chick'n burger... not enough Buffalo sauce in it. And for some reason - no Blue Cheese dressing, but some yoghurt-y take on American Ranch. All wrong IMO. Better off eating Vegan Chicken burger at Temple Of Seitan
A. R. F.
Very cozy restaurant in the heart of Camden Town. We wanted to try something different and healthier and we decided to come to Mildred's. It was an excellent decision! Tried the Soul Bowl and the Sweet Potato Kiri Hodi, loved both of them, lots of flavours combined.
We also had the "carrot, apple, ginger" fresh juice, very nice and uplifting and great with the food we had.
Service was fine, quick and knowledgeable too.
Really happy about the place, will definitely come back for more.
Recommended 100%!
A. K.
I've been wanting to try Mildred's for a while near after hearing much about it and I'm glad to say it did not let me down. Normally very busy to get into especially in Soho but we got in on a weekday lunch for 2. Great place for vegetarians/vegans and gf dishes etc. From the starter to the mains and dessert it was all fantastic all though I think slightly overpriced. Interior is well done and selected. Overall very well done
L. M.
Food was amazing and our server Charlie was incredible. Friendly, vibrant, professional and overall a pleasure. Thanks so much Charlie!

Amazing food and generous portions! Amazing vegetarian and vegan place with lovely atmosphere and friendly service. Very nice selection of all sorts of interesting starters, mains and desserts for all tastes.
Would really recommend the vegan tofu stir fry!
A.
Stylish but warm atmosphere. Vegan and vegetarian restaurant in the heart of Camden Town. My dish was a vegan take on bangers and mash although the flavour palette of dill, fennel, cider and smoked tofu combined with the powdery texture of the sausages reminded me of fishcakes than sausages. Still everything was good and very reasonably priced.
The decor is very pleasant and service was good.
One course lunch for two was £28 not including any drinks.
G. P.
We had the best experience here. The most amazing food! Our waiter Matt was so friendly and helpful!! A* service!
Thank you!!
E. P.
First time here, had high expectations and it didn't disappointed! Delicious food (Mexican burger and also hummus as a starter) the drinks were really nice as well. Friendly staff, Sunday at lunch and they were busy but still quick on service. Recommended!

Great food, great environment… honestly… i recommend…
C. K.
Great food! The food tastes very nice and being a non-vegan, I didn't even notice much difference. Really nice atmosphere too.
S. G.
Beautiful looking and tasting food. Great selection of cocktails and super juices. All very zen and at reasonable prices. You might even spot the odd celebrity here.
H. S.
It was nothing special.
The Le Royale was so dry and tough and tasted of cardboard.
The burger king vegan burger is cheaper and tastier.
L.
They mucked up our order and dealt with it pretty unprofessionally (apart from Charly, Charly was lovely) - the shorter older man was sniggering at us a couple of times and the manager claimed “I would have offered you something off the bill but now you’re leaving” after being sat there for about 40 mins after the meal. Recommend the Soho branch though :)
A. R.
Very very fast service, reasonable prices and so many dishes to choose from! Wide variety of foods from pizza, pasta, burgers, mock meats, bean burgers, salads. Includes small plates, larger plates. Will definitely go to Mildred's again when I'm in the area to try something new.
L. A.
Mainly vegan/vegetarian you can still nice and originale food for everyone. The waitress was not very smiling but the service was quick and good. Prices are ok too. The big mains are quite big so better to be hungry. Good food quality and interesting to try.
K. C.
Food was delicious with service to match from our brilliant waitress (Ella). Can’t wait to come back!
M. H.
Wow. All vegan and all incredible! The food is to die for. Lovely service from Roberto! We will be back :)
P. G.
Nice selection of vegetarian/vegan food and the service is very friendly. The flavours were great, however my wife's burger was just warm and my kebabs were pretty much cold. We didn't bother with desserts. I think they are spreading themselves too thin chain-wise. They need to play more attention to the food and how it is served.
EDIT 17TH JULY
Mildred's came back to me and sent a £50 voucher. They also asked me to "consider deleting" this review. The trouble is, that makes me wonder how many other reviews of 3 stars or less have been deleted.
So, my review stands, but I have altered the number of stars, which I think is fair.
The lesson for me is: Complain at the time. The lesson for Mildred's is: Get it right first time.
j. b.
Decor here reminiscent of early Sixties new-suburban optimism.
The appetisers, for the most part, defined by meagre portions and very much average fare.
But, the main course selection is impressively varied, in ample portion and tasty.
Though perhaps not the culinary cutting-edge here, sticking very much to a tried and tested formula with some signature twists.
There’s much here that merits complimenting and the service without fault.
G. O.
Lovely restaurant with so many options that it is hard to choose what you want to eat. I ate the Korean fried chicken burger and it was so good! I also recommend getting the nachos that had the mango pieces, it was amazing! Hopefully I can come again soon and try something new
S. A.
Pleasantly surprised by this vegan restaurant. I ordered a mock chicken burger and wow it took me by surprise. The flavour, texture and taste was exactly like the real thing. Finished lunch off with coffee with almond milk. Wasn't anything like the coffee I'm used to but a unique taste regardless. I'd definitely visit this place again.
N. D.
Great food and service. I had the banana blossom tacos and my husband (a carnivore) had a poke bowl - all delicious and above expectations. The drinks were also spectacular. We will be back!
T.
One word: Hallelujah!
(Had the Lebanese chick'n and for dessert the Caramel cheesecake, biscoff, blackberry sauce!)
Best food in London. And only vegetarian/ vegan.
Five thumbs up.
And the toes too.
V. V.
Wonderful vegetarian food served in great ambience
R. V.
This Mildred's location is much more comfortable than the one in soho. We enjoyed our meal and service was friendly. The hummus appetizer w/ charred flatbread was amazing. Would definitely recommend!
L. T.
The food was amazing will visit again everything is vegan.....only things I didnt like is they only accept card payments and had to wait a bit long to get my food
K. C.
One of the best vegan / vegetarian restaurants around London. Most dishes are entirely vegan, with one or two vegetarian ones. I would highly recommend trying the 'Polish burger' - a really satisfying meal that even non-veggies seem to love! Also have a good selection of organic and vegan alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. Can be quite busy in the evening but it's worth the wait!
R. K.
Mildreds had a very modern and sophisticated aesthetic, with an open bar and waitors who contributed to the stylish feel. With a very imaginative and tasty looking menu, the chips and chipoltle ketchup stood out in the meal. We also ordered the chicken katsu curry with black rice, and the halloumi burger. The katsu curry was well rounded with sticky black rice, however I found the salad too strong with coriander. The halloumi burger had rich earthy flavours, however for the price I thought it should have come with a side as well. Overall a pleasant experience, however a little overpriced for some of the meals.
E. S. N.
Mildreds is an amazing vegetarian restaurant in the heart of Camden. The burgers are fantastic and I do recommend the Indian curry with vegan chicken.
Y.
Really good food...pricey for veg but given the area not surprising, excellent service
D. M.
Oh my gosh!!!😀 I've fallen in love with this place! My daughter found it last month and finally got me there last week!!
I'll be taking her back nxt week🤗
Delicious😋 delicious😋 delicious😋 Big thumbs up to Mildreds...their chips did not disappoint the raving review that my daughter gave...absolutely perfect!👍🏽
A must eat restaurant!!
S. D. J.
The vegan kiri hodi was tasty and the service was very good.
J. S.
Excellent vegan food and they make a super Gimlet too. Good vibes
E. G.
Tasty food and decent service. As a non vegetarian I left pretty satisfied. Great cocktails
k. b.
Delicious food, the majority of which is vegan, and whilst I don’t normally eat desserts, the options here are great too, in particular the truffles. The space is light and airy and all of the staff are friendly and attentive. This restaurant is in a great location too that is more tranquil than being on the high road.
V.
Nice vegan and vegetarian restaurant tucked away in the heart of Camden. This place offers a wide selection foods. I'd recommend the tofu pad Thai. Table service was good.
M. W.
Was a calm sanctuary after a visit to Camden market. Food was delicious although more choice would be good. Dessert and cocktails very good.
N. D.
Very good vegan food. Nice atmosphere. Good spot for lunch.
P. K.
I have eaten in Mildreds in Camden a few times now and I have very mixed impressions. The most recent time was very good experience, the food was delicious and the service excellent. In respect to that visit, I would give 4 stars but some previous visits have been very disappointing in regard of both, food and service. They have plenty of potential, hopefully it will be realized in every future visit.
m. T.
Staff seemed really nice and helpful.
The vegan charcoal burger that I ordered was a acquired taste .
I was slightly disappointed to find out that I couldn’t order anything for my son to eat as he is gluten, egg and dairy free as well as soya.
They couldn’t assure me the that their fries were cooked in other things which contained gluten.
He sat their with nothing to eat.
Had to go somewhere else.
Also had to ask the waiting staff to take if the service charge as I couldn’t eat my meal knowing my son couldn’t eat anything on the menu.
A. K.
Great vegan place. Interesting dishes that will make you forget you need meat
Z. A.
Went on a particularly busy day but food was still brought on time. Very delicious and exceeded all expectations
L. K.
Nice food, great that it's almost entirely vegan now, shame it's so noisy and that the tiny tables are so close together.
And I miss the mushroom and ale pie.
N. P.
Very nice vegan dinner
R. W.
Been here so many times! Lovely food and people! Tried dumplings, halloumi burger etc.. good food!
L. H.
Absolutely delicious. We got lots of different appetisers and they were so tasty. Gyoza and artichoke were excellent.
L. U.
My friend and I had dinner here last night for the first time. I wasn't particularly hungry so ordered a few entrées and she a curry. Honestly this was the best food I've had in a long time. I felt my eyes rolling back with each bite. The flavour was spot on and I honestly have no criticism. The service was fast and the waiters were lovely - will be coming back again soon.
S. B.
I don't seem to be able to write a second review, even though my last one, below, is from three years ago.
The place isn't as good as it was, unfortunately, at least it wasn't for us.
The menu seems a lot more limited, the service felt rushed.
The food is OK, but it used to be more than OK.
The staff were friendly and professional enough but, having a 90 minute limit on the table, everything felt hurried.
Maybe the kitchen is under more pressure, having to deal with not only a busy restaurant but also takeaway deliveries.
It's a shame, we used to like to eat at Mildreds.
Original review from 3 years ago.
First time at the Camden Mildreds and the service was very good. Surprisingly no wait for a table on a Saturday evening which can be a drawback at Mildreds as they don't take bookings for small parties.
Food was lovely, I had Thai coconut and mushroom soup with chilli and lime, a nice chilli kick comes with it, my girlfriend had roasted mixed squash with spinach, hazelnut and almond dukkha followed by Sri Lankan sweet potato and green bean curry with roasted lime cashews, pea basmati rice and coconut sambaland I had the burrito with black beans and red rice, and a portion of fries on the side.
All of the above, plus a bottle of organic Sauvignon and the optional 12.5% service charge (100% of which goes to the staff) came to £69.75.
Great meal, highly recommended, even for meat eaters looking for something different.....
E. S.
My first time visiting Mildreds - So nice going somewhere where you can eat pretty much everything on the menu. Reasonably priced and the food was lovely! The staff were all super friendly and attentive, constantly refilling our water and making sure we had everything we needed. Can’t wait for our next visit!
S. T.
Caribbean jerk tofu - Tasty and full of flavour. Who said vegetarian/vegan meals had to be boring?
Wheelchair access ✔️
B. M.
Great service and excellent menu. Food arrived in good time, good quality too. Very impressed for an all vegan restaurant.
j. f.
Fantastic restaurant. With a lovely atmosphere and of course some of the best vegan food in the city.
R. A.
Amazing food and great staff. They really went above and beyond, especially since one of our friends had a severe allergy. By far our favourites place in London now. Thank you all :D
M. G.
New branch of the recently expanded Soho veggie icon. The amazing mushroom & ale pie is the definite highlight of the menu but nearly everything is vegan so you have plenty to choose from. This branch has a great vibe & friendly staff. Open 7 days from midday - 11pm.
k. j.
This is an all vegan place and I love the comfort zone of ordering whatever I want without worrying about what's in it. I love how it's almost multicuisine. It's well located and somehow, despite how good it is, you can always find a table
S. S.
Love love love❤ brilliant food! Brilliant cocktails fantastic staff 👏
K. T.
I booked a table for me and my mum for an extremely delayed Mother’s Day surprise as COVID ruined our original plans back in March. This was her first time out to a restaurant since lockdown and the food was amazing! We got every starter to stare and the Nachos that were on the specials and every single dish was delicious. Drove 50 minutes to get there and was definitely worth it. So happy with our experience, thank you!! Shoutout to Amber for being a great waitress as well, super friendly and lovely :)
M.
During weekends it’ll be busy and troublesome here , apart from this the restaurant serves food veg dishes 👍🏻
H. W.
Excellent food here, highly recommended by us, also the cocktails are awesome well worth a visit
A. R.
Okay this place is expensive but the vibe is great and the staff (specifically the guy with longish hair who spoke to us about our day & Tate modern) was really amazing and attentive! And the food was good too (maybe a little much)
R. B.
I've been to Mildreds at all their locations many, many times but never wrote a review!
We went on Friday and a had a guy called Hugo greet us and sort us out - great guy so wanted to give him a shout out!
Food is always good, varied menu incase you aren't sure what food you fancy, and a nice atmosphere.
Lastly it's mainly Vegan food, vegetarian otherwise, so win-win for me!
N. W.
Fantastic night celebrating with my besties, food was amazing, cannot recommend Mildred's enough, great staff, especially Ben the Chef, will return again!
j. j.
Very nice food, a little expensive, but then its high quality and a very enjoyable space to eat in. We fond the quality high and the service very good. Had an excellent experience although they were massively busy on the eve of their new winter menu. The maître d (didn’t catch his name unfortunately) was wonderful. Thank you Baby!
B. B.
Popped in for a vegan drink with a friend. Very pleasant atmosphere, bright and spacious. Their ginger tea was just what I needed.
A. T.
Excellent food! I had the Super bowl, and it was much better than I was anticipating and just the right amount of food. The kashmir cauliflower was great lots of flavour. I want to revisit for dessert sometime, perfect for a treat day
S. C.
Had a lovely Soul bowl, really delicious. Good service, nice atmosphere & good location near Camden Tube.
n. a.
food was brilliant, service we got was great, waitress was very helpful. The restaurant was very busy on a friday evening but they managed it well.
r.
The food was really good, but the experience there was extraordinary. I wasnt convinced at the beginning, the service was good, the waiter tried really hard, but he brought me an alcoholic drink when I explicitly asked for non-alcoholic. For some it might not be a big deal, but for others it might be. So when I explained the situation, I was astonished by the way they handled it. The manager came up, and genuinely seemed to understand why I wasn't happy about the situation, and most wouldnt, so that meant a lot. It's a great place, where they take care of you and serve you superb vegan food. Give it a try! All the best!
H. G.
The food is always fresh and delicious! Great cocktails and the staff are super friendly and helpful. I took my mother there for lunch and they gave us the perfect table in consideration of her limited mobility. My mother was very impressed and promised luch with me here again but next time she pays!
M. H.
Great 100% vegan restaurant
C. L.
We went for an evening family meal here during vegan January. The restaurant was busy but staff found us a table quickly. Everything we had was lovely - really good tastes and good size portions. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly, great atmosphere, no pressure for us to finish and leave. Would definitely come here again.
F. H.
Great food, good service! Loved it :)
R. R.
Vegetarian restaurant, where most dishes are vegan. Very high standard, and really good vibe.
L.
Really tasty, filling food, recommend.
N. L.
The plant based food here was very enjoyable! I would definitely recommend eating here if you like plant based/vegan food.
a. m.
Wonderful food,lovely interior, friendly staff

The food is soooo delicious, I went 2 days in a row
K.
Great food, unusual recipes that were really tasty. Very nice, would return again.
Z. M.
It was fantastic! I was told that the curry is really delicious and it's true! Absolutely amazing.
G. M.
Great food and friendly customer service. Never get disappointed at Mildreds. Thanks guys.
E. A.
Really very good - we attended for a meal last Friday and were impressed with the total experience. Food was totally delicious and full of flavour, and an impressive drinks menu to top it off. Overall a very enjoyable evening.
s. h.
Had a lovely experience tonight the food was great and the staff were very polite especially our waitress Alex she was very nice and helpful. We will definitely be returning to Mildreds 😀
D. M.
Yummy! Just gorgeous veggie food and splendid service.
J. A.
Very nice evening dining, food looked amazing
W. J. B.
The tempeh poke bowl made for an awesome and totally refreshing lunch here on a warm day. Laid back atmosphere and friendly hospitality. Thank you!
J. G. C.
Amazing place. Nice atmosphere, lovely service and the food was really good. The menu is not large but you can see the passion of the cook when it comes to the garnish and presentation. You have to get desserts. One of the best puddings I’ve ever had. Highly recommended
E. J. E.
One of my favourite resturants, I go here TOO often, so many I've lost count!
The menu now needs updating from the smaller covid menu and would be great if the couple of unnecessary 'non vegan' items were removed from the menu to make Mildreds Vegan.
A. D.
Hit and miss vegan/ veg restaurant. I’ve had the banh mi burger twice. The first time, delicious! The 2nd time the seitan ( or whatever meat substitute they use) was greasy, and almost inedible.
I have to say I love the veg gyoza and the raw snickers bar on the dessert menu. Staff are usually very nice too.
A. M.
This restaurant appears in a list as one of best vegan places in England. In England. In the whole country! Because of this, my expectations were extremely high.
The ingredients are clearly fresh, the food is tasty and it’s not overpriced. I liked it. But I’m pretty sure this place is not one of the best vegan places in the whole country. I can think of at least 2 or 3 places, in London only, with much better and cheaper food.
Anyway, if you like vegan food and you’re in Camden Town or nearby, it’s a good place to have lunch. But keep in mind that “good” means just good, not the best.
t. S.
I really like coming here because the atmosphere is chilled out and the food is fantastic. The menu is always creative and the portion sizes are fairly generous. The staff are genuinely lovely and it never feels like you are being pushed out the door at the end of the meal. I definitely recommend it!
A. N.
Visited Mildred's today for the first time in three months! The service was amazing, the staff were more than attentive. The member of staff looking after us was very nice and funny also. Last but not least, the food was fantastic, presentable and tasty (which is a perfect combination)
Do visit this branch of Mildred's when you can 👏👌
D. D.
One of the best vegan burgers I've ever tried!!
Went for the 'Polish' burger which was a party made up mostly of beetroot and wow it was amazing! Friendly, welcoming staff and a laid back atmosphere help make this place a must to come back and try more of the menu!
And the cocktails!! I don't drink them much but I very much found myself reaching for the menu again after trying one of them!
Definitely recommend :)
T. C.
Delicious food, and Ella was a brilliant waitress!
G. C.
Amazing place! Great food, and very friendly crew!
B. M.
Portions were on the small side. Ordered burgers with the meal, however the burgers didn't arrived.
Service was excellent.
M. M.
Lovely place with great atmosphere and delicious food. We went during veganuary and there was so much choice. The mains were great and the puddings incredible. The passion fruit coconut mocktail that we had was SO delicious- one of the best mocktaila I've ever had. Service was fast and staff friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be going back next time I'm in the area.
G. Y.
Historically, me and vegan/vegetarian restaurants haven't mixed. Not for any particular reason, just that I haven't actively decided to go to one. But, we were heading out for a meal and it was decided for me. And... it was good! Really good. I had their faux buffalo chicken burger, which I got spicy and I would not have been able to guess that I wasn't eating meat. Juicy, moist, with a slice of cheese (I got the non vegan version, although possible to order). The fresh juice I ordered was also brilliant. Service was really quick too. About £20 for a main and a juice and we were happy!
H. G.
Really enjoyed this restaurant, had a great selection of dishes, all of which were very well prepared and tasted fantastic. A nice selection of drinks too, including kombucha.
Staff were helpful and friendly and the prices were not extortionate considering the quality of the food. I'd definitely recommend to everyone, including non-vegetarians.
K. g.
Great atmosphere and interesting eclectic food choices. Let down somewhat though as very pricey for the overall offer
R. S.
Went to Mildreds last night for the Wednesday EatOutToHelpOut. It was busy not surprisingly. Staff were working hard and the food was great. They had thought through the social distancing well except they put us on a table with my back up against a service station. Besides the crashing about I had to listen to the staff were standing very close to me. Probably should not be using that table in the circumstances. I did mention it to the waiting staff at the end but I don’t think there was much interest.
A. D.
A bustling place with a nice and friendly atmosphere. My sister and I both loved our food, we got three courses and it was all great. I especially loved the hot tomato starter! Service was quick and attentive, only coming when you needed so not over bearing.
D. L.
Amazing food, so so tasty. Definitely in a happy place after eating here!
Staff are so friendly too
N. J.
Excellent experience. I walked in here to get a take out and the staff members were extremely kind and helpful. 3 of them helped serve me (1 guy, 2 girls) - all extremely friendly and helpful with the menu. I got a healthy vegan stir fry dish and it was brilliant. A tad expensive but a good meal nevertheless. It was crowded when I walked in - this place is notably busy because the food and service is excellent!
S. L.
Yumminess in Camden. Great vegan food.
M. L.
I came in for brunch/lunch and was so pleased. The food was outstandingly good and the service Christian provided was very attentive, warm and personal. Thanks to all the team, you started my Sunday off in excellent fashion!
M. S.
Good service- nice selection of food!
S. B.
Amazing food! Highly recommend for any vegan or vegetarian. Had a large group of us here, you need to book to avoid disappointment! There is so much to choose from on the menu, my favourite was the fried halloumi burger. Really quick service, once we had all ordered the starters came out in a good time then the mains. Would also come back with my partner as there is so much on the menu to choose from, I must try more!!
T. V. F. S.
Absolutely lovely person serving us this evening called Charlie. Super lovely and friendly 😊😊
S. K.
Always a great experience. Nice atmosphere, very friendly staff and amazing quality of food. Took many non-vegetarian friends to check out a no-meat menu and so far everyone was very pleasantly surprised. Will be coming back for sure. Great value for money as well.

OMFG! Absolutely amazing place!! Really good quality food, excellent service. All vegan
R. C. H.
I'm vegetarian and love the Lexinton Street original, so I was delighted about a branch opening near me. And I wasn't disappointed!
Don't let the new-build chic glass building and modern decor make you think they've lost the character and uniqueness the original shop. The variety and deliciousness continues, as does the excellent friendly service.
Again this restaurant doesn't take table bookings. Frustrating - but if you've the time it's actually quite nice to sit in the lovey bar and have one of their excellent cocktails, which we enjoyed doing. And we didn't have to wait long, either!
Was a bit sozzled when food arrived but I remember the choice being excellent and varied and the food delicious!
Very happy with, all in all. And pricing not too bad either! A welcome addition to the Camden scene.
N. H.
Great vibes and amazing food! Staff so catering and lovely! Basically let us drink until close while they cleared around us. Even asked if we wanted another! Food was so good, spesh for the price!
K. R.
really wonderful vegetarian & vegan menu with a lot of different choices of cuisines. it can get busy so best to make a booking. we made a booking and had drinks and at the bar while we waited for our table to be ready. the cocktails are great with some interesting combinations. staff were friendly and the food came out in reasonable time.
V.
The chickn burger with the black bun. The best vegan burger I ever tried!! Love the bread so much. Would be lovely to have this option gluten free. Same with the cookie dough
N. N.
Wow! I absolutely love this place! I come here once or twice a week and I don't live anywhere near London! If, like me, you quit meat a long time ago (11 years ago for me) but still miss the taste, PLEASE try the new mock chicken burger. It is awesome! The staff are really friendly and attentive. My only niggle is it's a little bit crowded a lot of the time and the tables are small and very close to each other.
Z. H.
Definitely one of the best vegan places in town, but it's also a must try for curious carnivores to enjoy some scrumptious healthy food variety for very reasonable prices.
Thank you for the exceptional service, Team Mildreds! ;)
j. s.
Amazing food, very friendly staff!!
D. N.
Food was delicious. Very busy but staff was attentive.
E. B.
Love Mildred's - have never had a bad meal and usually the only negative is that you may have to wait for a table, as they are always so busy! The burgers are always a very good bet, but all of their dishes are flavoursome and very well considered. Always a nice buzzy atmosphere, and great to see the mix of people embracing vegan / vegetarian dining.
E. G.
A good spot if you're looking for vegetarian food with a friendly atmosphere and efficient service. Our veggie friends were delighted with the range of options available. Can't go wrong with the halloumi burger and my husband (who tends to prefer meat dishes) thoroughly enjoyed his jerk tofu.
D. S.
Great food, friendly staff, a little on the pricey side but it's worth it. For anyone that cares about these things, the toilets are unisex and sometimes not the cleanest? Other than that, it's a great place in the middle of Camden. I go here a lot because the food is so good.
K. Ż.
Excellent experience!! Halloumi burger was amazing and i loved the vegan mayo dip with coriander and basil! Staff was very friendly well informed about the ingredients of the dish. Place is very busy but really well organized, it felt just like soo easy and satisfying going out for dinner! I really really recommend!
E. C.
Food is amazing! I'm not veggie, but would absolutely choose to eat here anytime. Tried a few things as we were in a group, all delicious and packed with flavour. They clearly put a lot of thought and effort into their dishes. Staff were brilliant, funny and really accomodating of dietary requirements.
A. S.
We went to Mildreds Camden to celebrate a special birthday with the whole family. We had booked a table as we were a book group and still had to wait for our table to get ready. Booking a table is recommended. It's a small place so looks very crowded. Lots of choice from the menu. Everything was vegetarian and the food was served quickly, it was tasty, presentation was good, service was quick. It was in the evening and was very crowded so you could see the pressure on the staff. It was a nice restaurant with good food and service.
D. S.
Simple yet interesting mix of flavours and textures
Nothing too flamboyant but if you're looking for an honest nicely presented meal that ought to satisfy both your hunger and taste buds this is the place to visit.
Very tasty indeed. I'd certainly come back to try other options from the menu.
The waiters are very nice and almost immediately available to see to you.
Thank you 😊
A. C.
Lovely food! Even my non-vegetarian boyfriend lived it
D. G.
Definitely one of my favourite place for lunch, dinner or just drinks! The service is outstanding and the waiters beyond friendly. A must if you are into vegetarian dishes.
My fav: soul bowl with a share of the price to support global farming <3
E. F.
Took a fairly large party of non-vegetarians here at lunchtime (luckily they do take booking for parties over 6 people). Everyone seemed to enjoy their food, the mushroom and ale pie was particularly noted, my own stir fried vegetables was very nice. We also indulged in desserts which again met with approval. It wasn't too busy when we went in but by the time we left (around 13:20) it was getting quite busy and lively.
R. B.
Fantastic vegan food (you wouldn’t even know!) We had the faux duck burger and the most amazing brownie. Staff are lovely and it’s always buzzing.
M. L.
Went to Mildreds Camden tonight. And it was the perfect place to be tonight. Had the most wonderful waiter (a young and cute blond hair lad), he was genuinely devoted to us having the most wonderful dinner and vegan experience. And it was incredibly perfect. The food is so scrumptious there and portions are really generous. Will definitely come back to that place. Cheers, from the Frogs 😉
L. B.
Food is very tasty and modern ! We are not vegans nor vegetarians but never even noticed that the menu was (almost) completely vegan . What a positive endorsement for meat free eating . Would definitely visit again
A. C.
Amazing food, it's definitely worth a visit if you are vegan/vegetarian & even non vegetarian eaters won't feel like they are missing anything. The portions of the mains are massive and are definitely worth the slightly higher price. We were witted straight away & we couldn't believe how fast our meal actually came. Definitely a must try at least once!
B. P.
Great place - amazing food, they even have a separate menu for garlic/onion free dishes 😃
A. J.
There is a great range of choices here, which makes a nice change as a vegetarian to have so many options. I do find the food can be a little hit and miss though, never bad but sometimes good and sometimes only ok. Last week was the most recent time I went and I had the mock chicken burger hot and it was great (and not too hot). It's quite a busy, quick turnover, tightly packed table sort of place so not ideal for a long leisurely dinner but if you stand your ground they also won't chuck you out plus there are lots of options for drinks afterwards nearby if you want to continue your evening. Good for a tasty quick veggie bite out.
D.
Not a veggie myself but went with a vegan friend and was pleasantly surprised by how tasty the food was. Generous portions and lots of options. Service was a bit slow but it gets very busy so usually a queue to sit or to wait for bill etc.
T. K.
The chips and beans are fabulous with a vegetarian twist on a traditional English breakfast. The service was attentive, prompt and helpful without being obtrusive. Great brewed coffee but it is missing gluten free or friendly bread options.
E. B.
One of my favourite restaurants in town for lunch or dinner. The customer service is amazing, and waiters are really good with the menu. A must go place for if you like vegetarian dishes.
D. A. D.
Good food, good vibes and quick service !
M. B.
To be honest....it's just "fine". Have eaten as well in another location...both times we found that the food wasn't that original nor was it that flavourful (especially the mushroom pie!), and our appetizers were always a bit disappointing. The restaurants are nice and the staff are friendly but the food is just...ok. (And yes, I'm a veggie so I am not grumbling about a lack of meat :p)
A. R.
My veggie daughter and I had lunch here and she loved her chick'n burger and side order of sweet potato fries. My black bean burger was equally tasty and the baby kale salad was a perfect match for it. Can't wait to try some more dishes!
S. A.
Amazing Sri Lankan sweet potato coconut curry and an apple turmeric fresh juice. Great service and great food!
L. A. W.
One of the best vegetarian restaurants I've been to! We had the gyoza dumplings, Polish Burger and the wood-roasted mushroom and ale pie. The meals were seriously good! I would definitely come back to this place again.
G. P.
Really nice atmosphere. They have a few gluten free options. Basil Mayo is delicious as was the ginger beer. Unfortunately the stir fry was pretty boring but that's kinda a given. Staff were attentive and very friendly.
F. M.
Fantastic place. A wonderful selection of vegan food that I would recommend to any vegans/veggies. The staff are really lovely and see happy to answer questions about the menu. The flavours in the food are fantastic - the mock chicken is very realistic.
My recommendation would be to go for a curry.
P. H.
We went to the Camden branch for the first time last night before a gig at the Jazz Cafe. So pleased we chose this place. Starters, mains and pudding were lovely. Standouts were the broccoli salad starter (who knew that could be so tasty), the Sri Lankan curry and the caramel, blueberry cheesecake. All the staff were super helpful and friendly. The choice on the menu is excellent and they know what they're doing with flavours. The place was buzzing on a Wednesday night and the whole experience was great. We'll be back.
Vegan food rocks.
A. M.
I was very impressed with Mildred’s, and this comes from a self-obsessed carnivore. The portion sizes were healthy (which has often been my biggest bug bearer with vegetarian restaurants), the food was excellent and the service was terrific. Was it a little pricey? Possibly, but if you want to eat good wholesome food you have to be prepared to pay a slight premium. Would I go again and recommend it to friends? Most certainly!
R.
Best porridge EVER!! And lovely staff
S. a.
I ordered the Teriyaki Chick’n burger with sweet potato fries which was pretty impressive and very saucy! My friend ordered the polish burger (gave it 5/5).
Our mouths were circled with half the sauce.😋 We finished every bit.
The waiters were friendly and the food came out so quick! I also had the kombucha with pomegranet juice which was 👌
I'd like to give it 4.5 stars. Half a star off because it was just slightly too saucy and oily for my preference ( but not sickeningly, I just prefer less, but I think most people would think it was the perfect amount ). I would still def go again, I was tempted to go back the next day and get another!
T. R.
Went with a friend and yeah everything was perfect, got the chicken burger and she had the chicken skewers and we both loved it. I think maybe the service could have been better especially when you got 4 of them standing right beside you..
A. S.
Great food! I had the Lebanese Chick'n and a friend had the stir fry. The Lebanese option had a good portion of the "chicken", would have welcomed more of the veggies....it was really tasty. Wolfed it down super fast.
A. N.
Great vegan food, great service.
B. T.
Delicious as always and even more during Veganuary! The Artichoke and the Arancini startes were delicious and perfect to share in 3. The curry was the best main to warm up from the cold and fill satisfied without being too full. Highly recommended as a healthy yet flavoursome comfort dish. Service always friendly and welcoming. For a Blue Monday it turned out to be very happy!
C. A.
Food was amazing, service was quick and the staff were lovely. The chicken burger and the ice cream with espresso caramel sauce were both amazing. No bookings policy for smaller tables so make sure you get in early or prepare to queue for a while.
A. C.
Our waiter Matt was great and food was delicious!
A. P.
Really great veggie and vegan food at good prices. It was Friday night and the place was really busy, but the staff did everything they could to accommodate us.
Food was served quickly despite the business and we had a great time. Burgers were great, I’d recommend the halloumi burger and the beetroot burger. Sweet potato chips were nice and came with some amazing vegan spicy mayo. Cocktails were fantastic, I’d recommend the Maple Old Fashioned and the Black Mojito.
Atmosphere is very clean, smart and trendy and I would recommend for smart/casual evening meals or date nights.
P. S.
Eating in Brighton alot it's always hard to find a place to match up! But Mildreds always comes top of my list when heading to London and after last night's meal I see no reason for that to change. Excellent service and food!!
R. T.
Food and staff were amazing. Will definitely be back. Didn't miss the meat and the cocktails were fabulous.
R. S.
Visited a few weeks ago for a simple meal. Absolutely delicious, the best vegan food I have ever had! Great service too
R. G.
So delicious! Came here with family, was promptly seated and served, I had the teriyaki burger which was DELICOUS as well as the romana artichokes - although could have done with a few more artichokes. The rest of our party loved their food too! The only downside to the meal was a manager being quite harsh to a young waitress who dropped a drink when we walked in. No-one really cared and it wasn't worth the huge eye-roll! Accidents happen. Would 100% return.
B. C.
A really great experience - helped by a very attentive waiter - also a very pleasant guy to talk to - Matthew.
A great menu - not too large so that they couldn't handle the variety - but enough to cater for everyone.
Service was very efficient - but not hassley. Didn't once have to ask for more water. The carafe was quietly replaced without any delay on three separate occasions and without a sound.
Dropped a knife - the waiter noticed and picked it up and replaced with a fresh one in an instant.
The restaurant is quite large but not very echo'ey - so although it was noisy because of so many people - you didn't have to shout to make yourself heard.
Despite it's size, they still try to fill it and it would have been nice to have more space between tables
Round table - so everyone was broadly facing each other. So much nicer than rectangular tables
A bar area where you can have drinks while you are waiting if they aren't able to seat you immediately.
Food was well prepared, attractively presented and interesting - as well as tasty - to eat.
Glasses of wine were a bit pricey by by the bottle, the prices were correct - but no better than that.
All the wines are apparently organic.
A lot of wine is sold by the glass which means that many of the bottles have been open at least for a short while. Some of the wine by the glass tastes a bit tired - and if you are buying wine that way, best to stick to the most popular ones so that the bottle is more likely only to have been recently opened.
As usual they hit you with a hefty 12.5% tip - so about £12 on a bill of about £90: a lot. - But I understand that they deal with the tips very fairly - unlike some places.
Bottom line - an awful lot of people having a very good time.
j. l.
Consistently lovely and welcoming service and absolutely deliciously satisfying veg/vegan food and good drinks — coffee is excellent and so are the cocktails. Casual, sunny dining space, nice bustling atmosphere; perfect for a quick solo visit or lunch with friends. All reasonably priced. Delighted to visit regularly and recommend to anyone!
D. G.
A perfect place to indulge in vegan and vegetarian food. Very good menu at reasonable price. Bar has good drink menu with decent cocktails. Only few minutes walk from Camden town station and Camden lock. Friday night was super busy but we waited at the bar and didn't wait too long for food too. Beware! It gets bit noisy at the weekend.
C. F.
Consistently great food and really friendly staff, love it here!
D. C.
Food as always with Mildreds was incredibly tasty.
However on this occasion we had a party of four celebrating a birthday. One person in the party got served his food ages before any of us were served and it got cold by the time we could possibly all eat together. I complained to the extremely rude member of staff who argued with me and patronised me by telling me the exact times food arrived. I probably won't come to this Mildreds again. Probably best to train all staff to bring food out at the same time.
C. C.
Delicious food, cocktails and other drinks here. Lots of choice on the menu and really amazing vegan desserts! First visit to the Camden restaurant for Friday dinner we had a wonderful waitress, second time I went for a late weekend lunch when they were quite busy and found the service less warm and friendly e.g. no one greeting you on arrival or really overseeing things; but the food still came in very good time and was a great standard. Highly recommend for veggies and vegans, and anyone else!
A. C.
Fantastic atmosphere and caring waitresses, the food was absolutely delicious and the cocktails were great too. I'm not a vegetarian or vegan but I found the food very flavorful! Totally recommend it :)
M. S.
Amazing, well done vegetarian food. So many great choices for any foodie. Worth a trip or two. Slightly upscale. Very impressed for a longtime [20+ years] vegetarian who's had to sit through so many unrewarding expensive dinners with no choices for healthy vegan/vegetarian food.
H. G.
Amazing food and great service! On Thursday, we attempted to get a table at the restaurant in SoHo, but the wait was an hour and a half! Today (Friday), we walked right in to this restaurant in Camden.Everyone's excited about Mildred's new branch in Camden. As you know, Mildred's is a vegetarian legend. It is also legendary for no reservations
T. E.
Delicious food. It's ruined my friend's view of veggie burgers in pretty much all other restaurants.
Staff were very helpful
Only downside was the speed when ordering multiple cocktails, a little work on streamlining the process and I'd give this place 5 stars.
M. M.
Super cool place and tgey have tge best vegetarian burger ^^
H. L.
Went here this evening and had the most delicious food! Matthew our waiter was a delight!
F. K.
The place looks as inviting as a motorway service station. The food is actually amazing, had my mind blown by the different tastes and textures. Absolutely spot on for vegetarian food, can only recommend... although it still looks like a service station.
N. 5.
Camden. Sadly they've changed the menu. and removed my favourite starter for gyozo dumplings, which are sold in every other restaurant!
I think Mildred's should stay away from jerk, because they can't cook it!
This branch was do loud, it wasn't an enjoyable visit.
Don't like the mixed gender toilets, in such a small space.
Food arrived quickly.
M. E. D.
Unbelievably epic. Every single dish here is JUST INCREDIBLE. Super friendly and efficient service too. Would recommend to absolutely anyone, it's a food sensation!
F.
Great vegan vibes, staff were friendly and attentive! Great location, affordable, food was delicious, clean toilets, pleasant atmosphere will definitely go again :)
A. M.
This place is well situated as long as I'm concerned cause I love Camden so much ! The food is of a very good quality and the waiters and waitresses are very busy as a result. I put just 3 stars because the desserts sounded and looked very appetising but overpriced. £6.50 minimum... I ended up having an ice cream at Amorino instead. Up to you...
M. K.
Lovely service and very imaginative and tasty food. A great evening out
D.
I love Mildred's in Soho and have been at least 50 times, and I would still recommend this place in Camden. However my food wasnt as good here as it was in Soho, and neither was a couple of friends. Starters we ordered were very poor - skip that and go straight for a main. Need to work on there drink selections and glasswear (being picky). Worth trying tho.
L. R.
Loved the food here. I ordered the Soul Bowl which is a salad with avocado, nut butter, figs and many other veggies. I'm sad we don't have one in Canada. Enjoy the fabulous food and fantastic decor.
M. C.
Amazing vegan and vegetarian food. Reasonably priced. Great cocktails and desserts too.
Wish I took photos but whenever I am there I always get carried away.
Lovely ambiance, welcoming staff.
F.
Excellent vegetarian restaurant fairly priced. Food I ordered was sophisticated and delicious served by friendly staff. The premises are conveniently located but lack a bit of atmosphere due to its oversized bay-window over-looking the high street, an effort to create a less fonctional place could have been made as this is not a fast food!
C. B.
This is the Gold Standard for all Vegetarian and Vegan food - if you are a chef you could a lot worse and see what all restaurants should and could have on their menus when trying to provide a meat alternative dish. definitely eat here again when back in town. Thank you.
K. A.
They have just got things right. Love this place. Slightly expensive but each and every item on the menu is worth it.
H. O.
We ordered the caribbean jerk tofu and the lebanese chick'n. The tofu was nice but the sides were very disappointing, to the point of leaving more than half on the plate. The lebanese chick'n was really tasty, but really unnecessary to call it chick’n as it can get very confusing.
The bill comes with a service charge of 12%. It is optional and you can ask them to remove it, but the awkwardness of having to do it and to justify why you’re doing it, is really unpleasant. We left a smaller tip, as the quality of the service and of the food wasn’t worth the 12%.
M. P.
I don't even normally eat vegetarian, but this was very, very good. We had the miso aubergine starter, mushroom and ale pie and a stir fry as mains. Pleasant service, great value. What's not to like!
f. r.
Friendly staff. Sweet potato chips were soggy disappointing. Thai soup was just ok but really lacked flavour. My friend loved the beetroot vegan burger which may be the best option on the menu but I didn't like the look of eating the bun. Would rather the vegan burger with rice or mash potatoes and proper crispy sweet potato chips or wedges salad and pickles would be healthy and great. After all they are next to Triyoga.
F. B.
This is my favourite place to eat, ever. I am vegan, but have taken my omni partner to many a fancy omni restaurant. She loves it here, more than any of those other places. That’s saying something. The staff are really lovely too. Please visit!
I. M.
Clean, spacious branch of Mildred's serving classic vegan and veggie cuisine at a very reasonable price. Friendly and efficient staff who have a bit more room to move around than the original Soho branch add to the experience.
Good for dates, groups, single dining and anything else you care to mention.
Also like the mocktails if you are abstaining from booze.
J.
Really good and tasty vegan food. Friendly staff
S. H.
Excellent service, great dinning experience. Although I'm not vegan nor vegatarian, I can say the food was quite lovely. Staff were very nice and well-mannered. First time coming here, but deffo not last. Will be back here in the future!
C. S.
I love Mildreds. They have satisfying and hearty vegetarian food. I usually especially like their starters. You can eat both healthy and unhealthy (e.g. their mock fried chicken burgers or other varieties). Also a very nice interior with a retro twist.
E. M. Z.
Food was fantastic, it came really quickly, despite the restaurant being full - on a Monday! The staff are great as well. No complaints (although I do wish the girl celebrating her 3rd birthday would celebrate a little quieter 😂). Til next time! :)
J. F.
After wanting to go for so long finally I had my first time at Mildreds and I was certainly not disappointed! I had the buffalo mock chicken burger and it was delicious!!! A real must is the Japanese cotton cheesecake for dessert!
M.
Beautiful vegan food, best in London. We ate here 3 times during our stay in London. Decent service and good portions.
J. M.
Lucky availability of a table got four of us seated at a very busy restaurant. Excellent cocktails, well off the normal beaten track (difficult to describe really, but inventive and well put together) , and truly delicious vegetarian food which left the four meat eaters well satisfied.
R. K.
While the choices are somewhat limited, the meals served at Mildred's are always delicious, filling and good quality. Vegans will find that they can eat most of what is offered (the rest is vegetarian), including some delicious desserts. The only negative point is that it can be very crowded at popular times and the wait can therefore be quite long. Overall still definitely recommended!
C. F.
Fast and friendly service, excellent food and great cocktails. I was surprised at how quickly we were seated considering it was 9pm on a Saturday and they had a full house. The staff were friendly and attentive. Definitely coming back!
E.
Matthew our waiter was a gem. The food was delicious. 10/10 would recommend
K. M.
A lovely vegetarian and vegan restaurant, right in the heart of Camden. Literally off the main street heading towards Camden Lock Market (from the tube), this is one of 3 Mildred's in London, it's much bigger than the original Soho branch. The food is hearty, diverse and caters for all. They often change up the menu, not too drastically though. Highly recommended, but it does get busy, but they have a bar /waiting area you can sit at whilst you wait.
m. B.
Very good food and great service.
N. M.
Staff are absolutely lovely, service is quick, and the food is seriously incredible. Can recommend their auberine starter, espresso martini mocktail, mushroom pie, and raw berry mousse cake! Will definitely be back for more.
C. C.
This is my favourite restaurant in london! Such a blunt statement. But i mean it! The service is fantastic which i never say about anywhere. The aubiance, warmth, and chilled atmosphere is flexible for so many occasions. Dates, Family, best friends, I take everyone here.
The food is mostly plant based and delicious. I eat from here minimum once a week. Everything here will be healthier than most of the restaurants in camden.
My choice is the classic burger with vegan cheese. I take my meat eater mates here all the time and they all say this is the best burger they have ever had meat or not meat.
Eat Well.
Z. T.
As a meat eater i was a bit reluctant to go but incredible flavours and tastes! Had the halloumi and aubergine burger tasted amazing. Along with a pear Martini. A+ fast and friendly service, reasonable prices!
K. G.
Nice staff and nice interior. Tables very close together and menu is pricey. The burgers are good but found the curry too creamy and tasteless today which the rest of the party agreed. Mushroom pie was nice
S. G.
The place was busy and we were asked to wait minimum half an hour but got a table in 15 minutes.
All staff were fantastic. The burger was good. The only complaint was that the bun was dry.
I would definitely go there again.
S. B.
Really good!!! As a non vegetarian in taking enjoyed it. Food was great, staff were lovely and my coeliac wide was week catered for too!
D. C.
Had a vegan burger and dumplings for starter. Bloody lovely!
J. A.
Never had tempeh bacon before and it was great 👍 Good coffee too.
A. M.
A bit pricey but nice food and good atmosphere. The Italian waiter was very nice.
I. L.
Great flavoursome vegan veggie options will be back again
N. T.
Absolutely INSANE food
Mildreds is a delight x
A. C.
A well earned 5 stars. Im not a vegan, but have vegan tendencies. For me this place is just perfect. Lovely food and service, not extortionate either given the location.
G. R.
Well organised, very delicious vegan& vegetarian food options! Friendly staffs:) definitely go again.
R. M.
Aside from quite a long wait for a table to fit 5 people, the food and service were excellent. I ordered the deep fried chicken, which was really good.
If you're a table of more than 3, it might be worth calling in advance?
A. M.
Great food. Gluten free, vegan brownie. Yes.
J. H.
Quality vegetarian and vegan food served fast. Very popular, noisy, cool crowd of all ages. I've eaten here several times over the years and will eat here again!
G. C.
Dropped in for lunch with 2 vegetarian friends. Highly recommend, great food, service and atmosphere!
V. G.
Lovely food and nice atmosphere
E. F.
What to say: this is the restaurant I probably have visited the most in London.
The food is simply outstanding and was very happy to see some new options on the menu!
I was battled whether to give it 3 or 4 stars (rather than 5 it would award if I were to rate the food only), genuinely because of only two reasons.
When we were there recently on a "boring" school night, the restaurant was full to capacity and very, very noisy; conversations were impossible (unless you were shouting). You can think there is a little a restaurant can do to deal with such an issue, but I think a reconfiguration of the eating room and cramming less tables would help.
Secondly, the service you get from the waiters varies consistently; generally hands-down courteous and friendly, but there is the odd one or two that have quite a rude attitude, both when speaking and when physically serving the food (e.g. dropping the plate or glasses rather than laying them; taking an empty plate away even if the other fellow diners are still eating).
It is my favourite restraunt in London, I will come back over and over because the food is simply amazing, but ironically I feel the need to leave 3 stars.
K. P.
Perfect for vegans, vegetarians and omnivores alike, very tasty and lots of it.
The desserts are to die for.
A. A.
High quality food for reasonable prices, would recommend to anyone, vegetarian, vegan or not! The buffalo chicken burger was especially delicious.
G. j.
Absolutely incredible, the food was out of this world and I cannot remember the last time I sat in a restaurant and felt as though I was being completely looked after, the service was fast and efficient, the price was very acceptable and the food cannot possibly be described in any other way but exquisite.
110% will be going again and I'll definitely be telling everyone I know about this amazing restaurant.
Thank you 🙏
F. J.
Amazing choice and amazing food. The dessert options look questionable but they are a lot nicer than they sound. Don't think you can book tables because of how busy they are, it's on a first come first served basis (shows how good it is).
V.
My Favourite restaurant in London. High quality healthy food. I go there every other week (I would go more often but I do cook at home when I can). You have to try their chocolate truffles 🙃 I always skip desserts but I can't say no to Mildred's truffles 😋💚💚💚
C. G.
Delicious food. Reasonable prices and really lovely and helpful waiter.
K. A.
More than hour wait on a Saturday night so be sure to make reservations! But well worth the wait (although the fries that came with mushroom pie were a little dry). Also the staff were all super attentive and nice despite it being extremely busy.
M. H.
Great food whether you're vegetarian/vegan or not. There is a separate bar area for you to wait or if you just want drinks. Very popular place so booking is recommended for large groups.
l. g.
Totally delish and wonderful staff.
D. B.
Really good service. Tried the Caramel Cheesecake which was delicious. I like the decor too. Competitively priced for the quality. I'll gladly return.
T.
The menu is pretty small, but the food is super delicious! There are a few salad options, a variety of burgers and Asian food and daily changing menu items. The prices aren't the cheapest , but totally fair for what you get. The only thing I did not like was their homemade salad dressing, it's not your standard oil and vinegar oder yoghurt dressing, and just tastes very weird. That's why I can only give this place 4 stars.
S. O.
Delicious. Wholesome. Refreshing. Three words to describe my meal.
When we arrived, we were quickly seated. To drink, I ordered the virgin passion colada; it was amazing. We ordered the gyoza and aubergine for starters. The gyoza has a tasty filling and they were cooked to crispy perfection. The complimenting chilli sauce was sweet and scrumptious. The aubergine was nicely cooked and flavoursome.
The menu had many tempting and accommodating. Whilst reading the menu, my mouth was watering and I was amazed and surprised by the fact that almost everything was vegan. The mock ‘buttermilk chicken’ was so moreish and and much like he real thing. The smoked tofu sausages and mash very nice. The mash was creamy and smooth and the veg was well cooked and seasoned. The cider jus was very tasteful.
The puddings were amazing and had a great selection of indulging treats. I chose a pumpkin pie with coconut whip and toasted pecans. It was so delicious. I also tried some of the mousse, brownie and truffles, which were equally all as delicious.
I would definitely go back without hesitation.
E. W.
A delicious delight - great evening.
Marco our waiter was very helpful, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. He made our evienng even more fun! ✳️
m. g.
Very good value and good food options ! Friendly staff
P. P.
One of the best Vegan/Veggie restaurants in London. The Polish burger is one of the best burgers I've had. Would love to see some Raw Vegan options on the menu.
W. F.
Ordered the mushroom pie. First it was not a pie, it was a small dry pastry at best. Definitely not £12 worth.
Tables were very small for 2 or 3 people and the restaurant was extremely noisy.
Overall not a pleasurable visit.
A. K.
Had the most delicious dinner here recently. Sweet potatoe fries were dreamy and my veggie burger just perfect. The chocolate, hazelnut brownie with ice cream was a real treat too!
A. E.
Quick service and nice vegan food, Kimchi burger was quite tasty! Caramel cheesecake was okay lacked a bit of flavour but the sticky pudding was really nice
M. L.
Fantastic discovery off Camden high Street when you are not in the mood for a chain, pizza or burger! Friendly staff and super tasty veg food. My stir fry and gyoza were delicious. Highly recommend
J. C. (.
BEST vegan burger I have ever tasted!! My friend ((very much an omnivore)) was very happy as well. Chips were amazing and staff were lovely as well.
Y. Z.
If you aren't a vegan don't go there, service is super nice, atmosphere is great as well. If they had a dish with fish or eggs it I would give them 5 stars but I think it's not a nice thing to ignore people who wants to eat healthy and not processed food.
T. M.
Food was OK, nothing to write home about. Service was rude, the waiter asked me what I'd like to drink, I replied a coffee, he asked what milk, I said "normal milk" he said "there's nothing normal about it, but you can have it"
If I wanted preaching to I'd go to church, I don't have to eat in your restaurant and I certainly won't be coming back
M. W. (. B.
Great atmosphere. Tasty, healthy, environmentally responsible food.
M. S.
It's a dream to eat out as a veggie & have the whole menu to choose from, but to have item on that to be so amazingly yummy is a fantasy that comes true at Mildred's. It's also wheelchair accessible with the freindliest staff. A must visit. Once you've tried it, you'll keep coming back.
P. J. (.
Good vegetarian/vegan options. Very popular place. Fairly expensive. Quick service fine if you like crowded places. Mix range of cuisine styles so something for everyone.
D. C.
The beautiful depth of flavour of the pumpkin soup still lingers on my taste buds. The Sri Lankan Sweet Potato Cashew Curry was a smile raising delight. I enjoyed the contrast in the texture and taste of the: thick, creamy sauce, the crunch of the roasted cashews and smoothness of the sweet potato.
The surroundings were clean, tidy and straightforward. The staff were quick, friendly, vigilant and helpful.
An excellent lunch time venue, and it's Vegan!
P. A.
Really tasty food and good service.
N. S.
My first time at Mildrids. The menu is fairly small but it has a great options for people with restricted diets such as gluten-free, nut free, vegan etc. Of course, Mildrids is famous for being fully vegetarian if you didn't already know. On the day we visited, their fryer was out of use so about a quarter of an already small menu was off-bounds. I reluctantly plumped for the burrito as burgers were not available due to the fryer issue. It wasn't that great but the portion size was generous.
The place was extremely noisy too (we visited at 4pm on a Saturday). The halloumi starter is absolutely amazing though. I could literally just have 3 of those as a main meal!
r. c.
Our first meal and night out since lockdown and the team at Camden have made it such an awesome night! A special thank you to Amber, my girlfriend now believes they are spirit animals!
D. L.
Great food! Second time going to Mildreds, first time to the Camden one. Was flavoursome food and will be back again! Didn't need to wait long, amazing service and taste bud tingling food!
A. B.
Great food, nice vibe.
F. P.
Great food and service. Menu has lots to chose from and portions are perfect. Highly recommend. We were sat quickly on a Saturday evening for dinner for 2.
D. E.
The curry was brilliant (definitely needed all the spicy sauce they provided) so very happy with this place - plus it’s off the main street so it’s a bit more chilled than the rest of Camden
R. D.
The food here is really good. I'm not a vegetarian but highly recommend this place. The Sri Lankan curry dish I had was incredible. This is definilty a great restaurant if you are vegetarian or vegan or not.
L. M.
Great food that's good value and tasty. Went down well with everyone in a mixed group of meat eaters, veggies and vegans. Would definitely go back.
O. W.
We had a lovely time here - something for everyone (we went with my girlfriend's grandparents, who aren't even vegetarian, but they were blown away by how good the food is here!) .. i would personally recommend the burger!
c. d.
As a regular customer since Mildred’s opened in Camden I’ve always had a great experience.. amazing food and friendly staff ... tonight was no exception.. thank you Charles for your above and beyond service and too the manager who kept the busy restaurant running so smoothly.. you guys make dinner a beautiful experience thank you .
S.
Good vegetarian alternatives of classic dishes (burgers, bangers and mash, curry, soups...) mid prices (£11/£12 a main).
Quick service, friendly staff.
e. d.
Had an amazing breakfast here! Super filling and amazing
J. H.
Despite being a vegetarian I always have mixed feelings about vegetarian restaurants, because the cuisine is all over the place (one dish on the menu Mexican, the next Middle Eastern) and I doubt a single kitchen can do all these vastly differing cuisine types justice. Having found the original branch in Soho a bit hit and miss, I was sceptical about trying the Camden branch, but on the one occasion I've been so far I did actually enjoy the food - the mock duck cassoulet was a novel use for that mock duck stuff which I've otherwise only seen in crisp duck pancakes.
E. P.
Lovely selection of veggie friendly food. I am not vegetarian but really enjoyed what they had to offer. Cocktails are well made as well.
E. M.
Great service, delicious food!
E. A.
Delicious vegan food. Just yummy
K. L.
Amazing food was really nice the service was quick. Nicky who served us was very poilte and very professional. Will definitely recommend. Was so impressed I purchased a recipie book.
A. K.
I was with a vegan friend of mine and found the menu to be quite limited. Also, I didn't that it was good value for money. On the plus side, it's a comfortable place with a good atmosphere. The service is just okay.
R. M.
Food is amazing as always. I felt the staff could be a bit more anticipatory of customers on arrival. We were all herded into quite a small bar area and it was unclear who to talk to about getting a table.

Hands down one of the best vegan/vegetarian places i have ever been to. The staff is suuuper nice, their cocktails are divine and the foods just from another world!

Have been to Mildred's a few times over the years. Good to detox from meat now and then. Seems to have lost a bit of lustre wrt the food now, however, the gyoza is still good.

The food was amazing and the portions were good. We just had a bit of slow service at the end when we were trying to pay the bill because it was getting quite busy.

Friendly staff. Could have a bit more choice on the menu. Maybe some pasta dishes
Had mushroom ale pie, wasn't ment mushrooms but loads and loads of onions which over powered the flavour

Despite being a vegetarian and vegan restaurant, the food is absolutely delicious and the burgers are great. Definitely worth the wait and in a great location. You should definitely stop by if you are in the camden area.

Great food, great atmosphere and great service. I'm not even a veggie but would go back again. Halluomi starter with the chill jam was immense. Also the cocktails were decent.

Brilliant atmosphere due to great staff and even better menu. Always popular in the evenings but there's something about waiting a little bit and then being squeezed into a table that seems well worth it.
