Reviews of Momo Japanese Restaurant
I went with a special friend for a special occasion and it didn't disappoint!
The food is oh, so good. Without a doubt one of the best miso soup we have ever had. The prawn tempura superb and we both had the beef teriyaki dinner. Delicious!
The place is just so relaxing and calming, it had a very soothing vibe, and staff are great. All in all a wonderful evening which will certainly be one of many!
Love this place, my favourite Japanese food in London ♥️ feels like authentic Japanese food, and even though the portions are not huge, every bite feels worth it. Will go back whenever I can! Not too crowded at all, and lovely with sun as there is a garden.
the food is soooo delicious!!!!! waitress are kind and open to help.
highly recommended
It is my favourite restaurant where I can taste Best authentic Japanese food in London. It is located inside Hotel 55 and the atmosphere and food are excellent. Staff are polite and friendly and they also have great lunch menu.
Top quality and great variety. We hadn't been to Momo for many years so it was great to rediscover this little gem in Ealing.
Loved it . Fabulous food and excellent Sake . The waitress asked us to taste their wheat Sake , which turned out to be excellent .. Great and cozy ambience .
We went for lunch on a Saturday. it was very quiet, and the staff gave us plenty of attention.
They only had set meals, but changed one of them replacing the meat with salmon.
It was a good meal, and will surely go back in the future.
Continues to serve very good Japanese food with regular changes of daily specials. Don't be put off by the location. The restaurant is calm and modern with a lovely exterior and quiet dining area if the weather is suitable.
Doesn't get more authentic than this. Totally recommend.
Beautiful food. We were the only non Japanese people there which is a great sign. The staff were so polite and attentive, and the food was delicious!
Nice location in the garden. We waited very long to be served. No one came to us in the garden for a long time. Sashimi was great. Asked for more ginger am still waiting for it now. Can't fault the food .. only the lax service.
Excellent had the tempura dinner, definitely recommend bare in mind though there’s a service charge was £4 on £32 meal charge.
We can drink Japanese highball (whisk with soda) here....
Tasty sushi , worth a visit
Great food and beautiful garden. Very child friendly!
One of my favourite sushi restaurants in Ealing/London even!! If you able to speak Japanese, make sure to request the specials menu, some real gems on it always!
Great food. Speedy service.
The staff are lovely! Very attentive and look after you. They are happy to tell you all about the food and like to make sure you're happy with it. Very pleasant experience! :-)
Good atmosphere, nice decor, food is decent but nothing special. If they focus a bit more on the food, this would be a great place.
I loved the food I chose.
Top notch Japanese set in a hotel.Weekdays it is full of Japanese businessmen. Weekends can be quiet.Central London prices so expensive ! Polite courteous service.
Great food. Staff was very accommodating. Reasonable prices. Highly recommend it.
A good place to enjoy Japanese cuisine! It's not sophisticated (I like it this way) and there's are several choices from the menu, some of which I haven't seen so far in London (such as "yamaimo"). The only thing I didn't like was the atmosphere. They moved here recently and the ambient is quite modern. I might come again!
Nice Japanese restaurant a hotel. Service was prompt and food was amazing :-)
Very nice
Brillant food
Lovely authentic japanese ales n lager.
Excellent sushi. Never had a bad meal here.
Food was good, but the service wasn't great.
It never disappoints. Real Japanese food.
Clean and Cozy. The foods are authentic and great.
Food, service and presentation/cleanliness were all perfect x
Great and authentic Japanese food with great service
It's a bit expensive, but the food is delicious and authentic!
Lovely food at a great price
Great authentic Japanese food in Hanger Lane! Did not expect to find this place here as most Japanese restaurants are located in Central London!
Very nice hotel and the people are very kind

Hotel 55 restaurant. Fine Japanese food
Delicious food. Recommend it!
Very good food.
i love japanese food
It seems there is in Japan.
Nice lunch menu with excellent service, will definitely come again if we are visiting the surrounding!
Really, really nice.
Excellent food
Good ambient..good service..Set menu good value..individual dishes there are better places and value elsewhere
Hotel guests could choose from a menu similar to Japanese set meals. There was also a 10% discount. The taste was good and the rice was cooked properly.
In good ramen, Nov '21
As a traveler from Ukraine I absolutely loved this authentic Japanese cuisine and the kind and hospitable staff.
Being given chopsticks with two hands, slight bowing after being served, smiling and not invasive waiters, mostly japanese customers. All this made a strong impression on me.
It's a bit pricey for me, but I can never get this level is service in my home country. This is what you get when a restaurant is run by the Japanese.
Definitely would recommend. 5/5
I'm a Ukrainian tourist and I love Japanese cuisine at Momo.
They raised their chopsticks with two hands, bowed a little, the waitress laughed, and the customers were Japanese, so I was surprised and loved it.
It's a little expensive for me, but I can't find the service like here in my homeland.
5/5
One of the representative Japanese restaurants in the Ealing area where the Japanese school is located. Cars can be parked near the station. I gave it 4 stars because the taste and service, which had declined for a while, have recently improved.
You can enjoy Japanese food as expected. Even better if you have raw oysters.
The transportation is convenient, there are many kinds of restaurants nearby, and the hotel is not expensive.
Private reservation for 30 people
over 900 pounds
The food was delicious, I loved absolutely EVERYTHING I ordered ! the service really fast and really friendly! I 100% recommend this restaurant !
Real Japanese cuisine.
cozy
Nice location and good sushi
We had a great meal here. The food was delicious and fresh, the restaurant and kitchen looked very clean, and the staff were lovely. A wonderful place to come for a meal in Hanger Lane, we will definitely be returning.
Had a wonderful take away. We even received a delicious complementary portion of gyoza as our order wasn't ready when we arrived. Highly recommend this reasonably price restaurant.
Best Tonkatsu I have ever had in London! Highly recommended 🥰
Wonderful meal out tonight. Set meals were so well thought out and flexible for a vegetarian. Delightful and efficient service. We will be back! Thank you.
