What an experience! I can honestly say this tops most Turkish restaurants I've ever been too. The service and hospitality is very warm, the waiter very friendly and the food is phenomenal! The meat melts in your mouth, the bread is freshly cooked and the rice is very tasty. I'll definitely be coming back.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Mother Restaurant where I dropped by for lunch. The interior is elaborately decorated and the menus and placemats are neatly designed and pleasing to the eye. The food was brilliant both in terms of quality and quantity. The portion sizes are huge and you get a lot more than you would for the same dish at other Persian restaurants, and I've been to plenty. The lamb koobideh kebab is definitely longer and the chicken skewer is so big it's almost twice the size of chicken skewers in other Persian restaurants. The quality of the kebabs and rice was fantastic. Flavourful and delicious plus the sweet yellow sauce they give goes perfectly with the koobideh kebab. Prices are very good and there is currently a 20% discount between Monday and Friday which brought the final price down even further. Staff were very friendly and attentive. If you like Persian food, I highly recommend Mother Restaurant!

Lovely hospitality and helpful table service. Upon entering you are transformed from the bustle of outside main road. Running water features mask outdoor sounds, and create some tranquility. The place's internal decor also adds to the transformation, as they went all out here. Now the food is also great value. No complimentary items here, but then you could pay for houmous or Persian tea and the cost is hardly noticeable in the bill. Large servings we took half our main courses home.

ABSOLUTELY FAB! Went on a first date there and had the loveliest time, such amazing decor giving life to Finchley central. How can a restaurant have amazing food all over the menu from the starters and salads straight to the desserts , all extremely tasty. Our total bill was under £25 for two people.

I always order from them. Their food is fresh, delicious and tasty. Tonight ordered khoreshte ghime from them by Deliveroo. It was one of the best one i had anf full of lamb not like sone stingy resturant not put much lamb in it. They are one of the top Persian returants.

The food was magnificent in regards to taste, quality and portion. I should also mention the prices were great and suitable for whether you're dining by yourself or family. The service was brilliant, having a great team of staff that were all very warm, welcoming and polite. They were never too far when needed and I didn't get the feeling of being pestered unfortunately like I have experienced at other cuisines so 5* quality and service so far! The restaurant itself has a very authentic atmosphere to it which gives it a very unique Persian vibe. Parking was very easy to find also. I'll definitely be coming back again!

Disappointed as we were obliged pay for items that we did not order due to the waiter's mistake. Ordered a meat platter to share and the waiter served us the mixed meze. We thought the dips came as part of the platter (as some restaurants do bring out dips before the main). After 40 minutes of waiting we asked when the meat would be ready and to our surprise we learned that our waiter heard "mixed meze" even after I pointed to the meat platter on the menu whilst ordering. Sadly, staff did not offer a discount and I didn't want to embarrass my guest so just paid in full. I didn't enjoy the rice much as it lacked flavour. Positives Meat was nicely marinated and cooked, staff were attentive and pleasant, the decor and ambience was nice and toilet was clean.

Finally a good restaurant in Finchley Central. Through the years many Persian restaurants have tried but failed in this are. It’s been three weeks they have been open and I’m there three times a week. It’s become a favourite. All food fresh and lovely. Their portions are so generous and the price is unbelievably reasonable.

I’ve tried many Persian restaurants in the Uk and can say with confidence this is definitely amongst the top tier. A fantastic decor and atmosphere, brilliant place to invite family and friends. And the prices are so cheap for the quality you’re getting. It truly is amazing. My favourite is the baghali polo (lamb shank).

Had it delivered for the first time. Well presented. Kebabs was very good, we had the Koobideh, Barg kebabs which was very delicious. The joojes was not so great , both the look and taste. They serve a round type of crispy rice ( tah dig) with some saffron rice inside which was super dooper delicious. The salad comes with a yellowish sauce which I liked, was a new taste. The portion size and price is well balanced.

I have been living in finchley central since 1987 And being an Iranian and naturally i LOVE to eate IRANIAN food I have tried all the IRANIAN Resources in finchley Central A few month a go i noticed a new restaurant called MOTHER i liked very much the unusual name at first it remained me of my mother's cooking i tried it by ordering a takeaway first I must say it remanded me of my Mother's cooking We gave ordered since at least three times a week The quality of food is for us is the best I must say I DO NO UNDERSTAND HOW THIS MOTHER RESTAURANT CAN MAKE A PROFIT I have given it 5 STARS oftear having tried many of there dishes and every time i found it to be the best in every way I LOVE MOTHEAR RESTAURANT I would like to thanks the management of this wonderful Restaurant A.Mahgerefteh
