Finally managed to get in to try after passing a number of time and delighted I did! Foods delicious here, first time here so went a bit crazy ordering the jerk chicken, pork, chicken stew and peppered steak plus dumplings, all of which i loved!! Jerk sauce is one of the best I've tasted here with a bit more of a spicy kick then other places. Staff here are amazing, polite and attentive. Parking is pretty easy here and there's seating inside and a garden area available for dining.

Really nice food, really nice people. It's that simple. My partner said it was one of the best Jamaican food he's had and the food tastes authentic. Would definitely recommend and will visit again soon! ***** The mac and cheese OMG!! And the plantain was soooo yum! Could not stop eating... Thank you so much chefs!

One of the best, if not the best jerk in town. The chicken is soo nice and smoky, it just falls off the bone. Every time I come here their food is on point. They don't every seem to have a bad day Customer service is excellent staff are always nice and polite My normal order is jerk chicken with rice and peas with stew chicken sauce

Finally after traveling all around London trying different types of food I've found the best Carribbean shop! If your reading this we all know how traumatic it can be trying to get food from a Carribbean takeaway or restaurant. The word customer service comes to mind lol well here the young woman who served me greeted me on entry told me she would be with me in a moment and she did that with a smile! To be honest I nearly fainted. So already I had high hopes. Then a few more people walked in and even though she was busy and dealing with a deliverroo order she still greeted them. Even more crazy is the meal I bought with a fizzy can! £4 absolutely unheard of, it's a small portion but value for money finally. I took jerk chicken peas and rice and two chicken patties all under £10... I'm just passing by so probably will never reach here again but for the next potential customer just go to experience the customer service! There is hope for Jamaican Food. Even the unit where the patties are stored has them labeled so I don't have to wait in disappointment. Keep it up!

MRC catered for my mother's funeral for a total of 70 guests, having a variety of dishes. They arrived on time to the venue and assisted in helping us set up the food for the event. The food was excellent, with compliments from all guests. A number of guests wanted details of the caterers for their own events. I will definitely use MRC again and I highly recommend them.

The most delicious,tastiest food outside of my kitchen. Went for a Birthday Celebration midweek. Welcomed by Staff on arrival with a 😃 ordered Lobster and steam fish,served with hardfood...Freshly cooked, satisfying portions,will definitely be back. Please visit as you won't be disappointed 😋😄😋

This place is absolutely delicious, I've been looking for a nice carribean takeaway for a while and after some searching online i came across MRC. The shop was lovely and clean, the portion sizes are generous too, I would definitely recommend this place it's really lovely.

Hi its G (short for Gurpawan) here from Emerald Enkindle !. Such an amazing place to order from. The food is hot, tasty, authentic and very quick from ordering to collection. The owner is so friendly !! I have tried the daily specials which include Jerk Chicken and Curry Goat with Rice and Peas which have been perfect!! The daily specials are only £4 including main meat/fish dish, rice and a drink. Definately suited to students and everyone!! Can not wait to try more dishes. Thanks :)

Been coming here for a while since they've opened and can't fault the food or the service at all. Everyone's very friendly and helpful, portions are a good size and the flavours are amazing! Defo a repeat customer already and defo will continue to be!!

I just ordered from this Restaurant on Just Eat. I’m really ill at the moment and today I craved good flavoursome, home cooked food and they did not disappoint. The Brown Stew chicken is AMAZING! Just went here for my birthday today. I am Asian Caribbean and my goodness, me and my family always feel at home with the food and service. There has never been a day where we have been served abysmal food. It is cooked with love and passion, which reflects the owners. We've always had great conversations. Today was my first time sitting in the outside dining area, i couldn't have asked for a better birthday, this will definitely be a birthday to remember, thank you so much <3

Decided to get some on a whim, and we both really enjoyed it :) The owner was really friendly; taking the time to walk us through some of the dishes, making us feel comfortable, along with making some really friendly conversation. Had the Curried Goat, which was definitely a good choice with the cold weather, as it had just the right kind of hot spice to it. Would highly recommend it

Very happy to finally have a local west Indian takeaway. We've ordered two times now, aswell as walk-ins The lady FOH is so kind, polite and attentive- she is also clear and polite on the phone. The food is delicious, even down to small details like a beautiful coconut flavour in the rice and peas that is usually missing in other takeaways. They are also accommodating, and allowed me to add beef to my red pea soup... It was so good. Patty's are amazing, a love sweet flavour and nice pastry. They don't skimp on cheese in the mac, I love it all. Maybe abit more sauce/gravy on the oxtail would be good, but still delicious- 5 stars! I'm looking forward to trying their seafood dishes next 😁

I went there today for the first time and was seriously impressed with the quality, tast and value of the food. I ordered Curried Goat, Jerk Pork, Fried Plantain, with rice and peas. My GF was really impressed with the authenticity and the friendliness of the staff. I live very close by and will be making this my takeaway of choice. Thanks MRC and keep up the great work.

The food was fresh and nice. Maybe a bit more seasoning. The sweet potato pudding was delicious. The the portion size varied from one order to the next.

Tickle Me Who???? Cannot believe we’ve only just found this place!!! Anyone who knows about ‘Tickle Me’ in West Norwood, will understand why we always drive there from Mottingham! But Thank the Lord for MRC!! Trust me when I say, it’s better than Tickle Me! The Peppered Steak is more flavourful and saucy, the Jerk Pasta is 10 times better and the coleslaw is amazing!!!
