One of the best Indian restaurant in east London. Lamb chops and 8 hr lamb shank is must try for meat lover. In desserts must try Mango texture. All deserts have got the unique style and presentation. Dine in ambience is very nice. Helpful staff and quick service.

Lamb seekh kebabs were a bit dry although mixed with chautney they tasted decent. The black daal was good however the Butter chicken was too sweet for my liking. The Rumali roti tasted okay although was a bit thicker than what I am used to. The rice was perfectly cooked as you’d expect from an Indian. The staff was very friendly and service was excellent. One thing I recommend trying is the chai.

Perfect place to go for any occasion. 5 star quality at a fair price. Very authentic Indian food unlike most of the other Indian restaurants out there which is more like British Indian. Interior scenery is marvellous. Staff are spot on, food came quick. I came on a Monday evening and the place is fairly new. I hope they can keep up this level of service for the long term. Will definitely be visiting again.

Taste was just ok compare to cost and taste, for this taste cost was too much and the biryani was worst I don’t like it most they charged nearly £10.90 but it’s not worth and chicken not cooked properly we spent £76 but in entire menu butter chicken and butter naan was good compare to all

Lovely atmosphere, and great service. However the food was lackluster, we were very disappointed as, we had been recommended this restaurant. We were told it was an authentic experience, full of flavour. The starters were OK, and we tried about 5 dishes, none were amazing, none were bad. The mains were disappointing, it said the masala was spicy in the menu, yet there was no spice and the lamb shank was apparently even more spicy, which again it wasn't. The meat was not dropping off the bone, and it was 50% skin and fat, and generally not very flavoursome. The lychee martini cocktail however was lovely. I hope it was just an off day. X

While visiting family from California, we discovered this absolute gem! We can very fairly report this to be one of, if not the best Indian Cuisine we have had the pleasure of enjoying. I booked a table for a business dinner with around 15 clients on Thursday 9th September. Rajan was really helpful in meeting our needs for the evening. He even let me bring a projector and a screen so I could present to my clients. The decor of MM is very clean and modern. The service was excellent! The waiting staff were very attentive, friendly and very willing to help! The drinks and cocktails were made to perfection. We all ordered a range of starters with my favourite being the Samosa Chaat. For mains, the tarka daal and saag paneer were the standout dishes for me. The sorbet was really sweet and refreshing after a big meal. Overall an excellent experience and all the guests had a great time. Thank you to the whole team! I’ll definitely be coming back.

Hands down the best Indian i have ever had. Everything was freshly cooked and presented beautifully. The food is authentic and not the sloppy bland mess you get in most other Indians, it's all full of flavour and cooked to perfection. It's a very relaxed atmosphere with intelligent, attentive but not overbearing staff, everything feels relaxed and unhurried, we were in there for over two hours over three courses and felt completely welcome throughout. This was my second visit and it will not be my last. head and shoulders above any other Indian i have ever visited.

Lived in the area for 30 years and until now did not come across an authentic Indian restaurant in the area. Just had late lunch in Mumbai Maska and it is simply amazing. The food is completely authentic Indian food and the taste is sublime, reminded me of the food in Mumbai and other parts of India. The service is excellent as well. My favourite was Dishoom but this has definitely taken the no. One spot. Congrats to the chef. 100% recommend.

MY NEW FAVOURITE INDIAN RESTAURANT!!! This place from start to finish was AMAZING! The service, the ambience, the food - all 10/10. The menu has a beautiful twist to Indian cuisine and I am here for it! I have already booked to go back next week for dinner. We had the Avocado Chaat and Okra Fries and they were a delight! For mains we had the chicken tikka salad and a lamb curry and garlic naan which was delicious... and the lychee martini was a treat!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!

Mumbai Maska gives a great Indian fine dining experience....Good Ambience and Music....The quality of food is great ... Menu contains flavours and dishes across India and they are delicious... Quality, Consistency and good service are the mark of a successful restaurant and in spite of it being new on the restaurant scene, they have outdone themselves in these areas. For appetisers, tried paneer chilli which was perfect and chilli garlic mogo in spite of being something not Indian was surprisingly good. The sev puri reminded me of SPDP from the Mumbai chaat scene. Being quite fool on starters, went for comfort mains and the kadi pakoda and dal tadka were tasted like home and went well with soft roomali rotis. The pan shot at the end was the perfect after meal dessert The apt place to be if you miss Indian food in London. Excellent food and decor. Classy place with reasonable prices. The food was very tasty and delicious and if you want them to cook something that is not on the menu they will do so. Just had a late lunch with my husband @ MumbaiMaska and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The starters where really good I highly recommend the calamari and paneer and the mains were excellent specially the Butter chicken, it melted in my mouth. The naan bread are freshly made in the open kitchen when you order it. The service could have been better but when you are the only waitress mistake can happen so that was ok for us. Plus our waitress bless her was the sweetest human being. Do give it a try. We will for sure be going back soon!

When you go in you don't feel your in Chingford. Warm cosy setting- seems more like a boutique hotel in London. The service was good, and the food was exemplary, very authentic and tasty. Visited last week. The decor and lighting make it comfortable and relaxing. Great range of aithentic and traditional Indian items on the menu. I went to the restaurant prior to lockdown 2 years ago with family and the food was exceptional we all ordered different dishes and no one could fault the food (there were 12 of us in total), not a scrap was left; it was delious. I went in for a takeaway yesterday 23rd Sept 2021 and the standard remains the same it was exceptional. While I waited I ordered a G&T when it arrived it was beautifully presented, the tonic was in a caraf and the glass of gin was filled with fresh fruit. 11 out of 10 Melanie D

This is hands-down the best Indian Restaurant in Chingford! I visited Mumbai Maska recently and was blown away by the modern decor and fantastic ambience. We had some cocktails, which were amazing, followed by some starters (Tandoori Kukad is finger-licking good!) and for mains, the outstanding dish for me was Dal Makhani. Desserts were tasty and fresh - I chose the Ras Malai Cake with Basoondi - yum!! Can't recommend highly enough - my new favourite Indian Restaurant in Chinford!

I'm rarely motivated to review delivery food but I've just eaten the vegetarian curry from Mumbai Maska and this is seriously the tastiest vegetarian curry I have ever eaten.

Lovely place, staff were very welcoming and had a reasonable amount of vegetarian options for us. Also we're accommodating with our toddler friendly needs. The downfall is there is no nappy changing facilities, if you bring any young children. Other than that the food is tasty. Preferred our starters to mains. But to be honest that's us usually with most Indian restaurants.

When you stay so far away from home and you crave for India like restaurant food, Mumbai Maska is the place to go to! Attended a Birthday party where the Hosts had hired these people for food- Starter’s were Pani puri, chicken tikka ,Haryali chicken , paneer tikka and prawns. It was delicious- their presentation was excellent. Went today for Father’s Day, with the family! Our food was amazing & so tasty! We had (between us) Chicken Biryani, Lamb Saag, Chicken Tikka, Pilau Rices, Masala Chips, Roti’s etc Dessert was Cho & Chikki cake (we got a complimentary dessert as we had waited a while) Then Indian teas on the house! As an Englishman of Indian descent (Kenyan Indian), I'm very cautious when deciding on ordering from an Indian restaurant (high expectations). Many don't do on-the-bone curries as my mum made whilst I was growing up, and still does to this day. Many places taste the same. I ordered the Murgh Dhaba (on the bone) - very tasty. This was as close to my mum's cooking as I have ever found in my 39 years of existence. Awesome flavour with a soupy consistency and, of course, chicken on-the-bone! I will be ordering again.

Had the most amazing evening at the Mumbai Maska! Authentic Indian Food with the right amount of spicy and tangy! I must say that as curry's go this is by far the best I've had , its not your usual menu as I don't recognise a lot of the dishes but they are more traditional dishes which taste amazing. The staff are very welcoming and friendly so if you like your curry give it a go .

Through Facebook I came to know new place MUMBAI MASKA. Since I am from Mumbai and I checked they serve BUN (Bread in Mumbai) MASKA (Butter). It is best Bun Maska in London. Bun in baked in house. I highly recommend to check this place.

One of the best customer services experienced in London. The food was great. Definitely try the vada pav and dahi puri. The staff are very welcoming and great with their service. Harshita, one of the team members, was very switched on and prompt with her service. A delightful experience!
