Munch Box recommended by someone I know, honestly this place is over rated. I had the Classic Beef Double cheese burger and chips. Nothing special beef taste wise was ok, but found the Cheese burger very oily and chips were a bit soggy too. I am not sure if its their packaging or what but if they put little love and effort into cooking that would be enough. had high expectation but was little disappointed honestly speaking. I might give this place a try again if I am near the area.

Food is always on point. They make fried food like other chicken shops but the quality of their food is far above others, in the area at least. After eating a chicken burger meal from a standard chicken shop then expect to feel quite sick after, but after eating even their (munch box) tower burgers you can feel quite good about yourself and go about your day in normal fashion! The wait can be quite long as it gets quite busy many times, as well as the prices are slightly more expensive than your standard chicken shop, but the food quality makes up for it. They only take cash as well so make sure you have it on hand

Great burgers. The chicken burgers are spicy and juicy. Definitely recommend getting the spicy naga sauce. They also gave us a double dough pizza filled with popcorn chicken in between the doughs to try for free. Very tasty. Hopefully will be on the menu soon!

For a hole in the wall...some great food has come out of this place. I got a Very tasty steak and chips...it came with a bonus fried egg on top!! Steak was nice and tender, mixed with peppers and onions. I also got a sloppy Joe burger. Beef patty was surprisingly tasty and cooked well, beef chilli on top with cheese. Then I also got the chicken and rice box. What can I say, little gem in the middle of East London. I would definitely be going back for a late night snack. This place surprised me, its very hard to find a reasonably priced burger place and this place give you decent quality burgers at a reasonable price. Go try it before you knock It.

Tried a "zinger double chicken burger " which was ok, nothing special and we also had a double Gourmet Beef burger. The beef tasted good, the burger as a whole was again, nothing special. The chips were very oily and not crispy at all.

Munch Box Halal is just off barking road in a stall like shop. This was actually the 2nd time I visited and I tried the double cheeseburger and the Naga burger. The double cheeseburger was actually pretty good. Even with the ketchup inside (which I normally dislike) I quite enjoyed it. For £2 it's well worth it. The Naga chicken burger was ok. The Naga was there more for flavour and smell over spice. £3 for this burger is decent but it does take a while to make which is annoying whilst standing in the cold (could wait in the car but I was parked down the road). I would give munch box a 4 star this time around but my 1st visit was terrible (would give it a 1 star from that, as they served cold, premade burgers)... So overall is a 3 out of 5.

It's ok, not anything WOW. It's a very hyped up place. They serve soft tender burgers, decent flavour all around. It's a small place and you can't eat in so be prepared to take away. I'd recommend you stay AWAY from the chicken wings, seriously over priced, all you get are small pieces of fried chicken with a bit of "BBQ/hot sauce. Stay away from them.

Amazing value for money! Amazing taste! This is my go to place for me and my family the guys in the shack never disappoint, he even gave me a free dessert when he found out that I travelled from afar! Can I remind all those complaining about the taste as being nothing special remember your not paying premium price for a burger your paying rock bottom prices. Oh yeh, the zinger burger hit the spot!

A hole-in-the-wall style food joint with quite a small basic menu; you turn up, place your order and wait for the guy to yell out your name when it's done. There is no seating here at all, so be prepared for that - we sat and had ours in the car. The burgers are lovely, nothing glamorous or fancy, just simple but very well made. Loved it, food was spot on... Shame it's not big enough for an eat in service but defo worth a visit... Will be back for sure!

Just got the BBQ chicken burger and two Double cheese burgers! My Goodness! I have been missing out all this time! The level of service is amazing and believe me I’m never disappointed. This a safe and and a great place to eat everytime with the family.

The food is excellent to perfect. Their recipe is beyond standards for a fast food place. They have monthly or weekly specials and i have not been disappointed once. And for such quality food the prices are really cheap for what you're getting. It gets busy some times but they always manage to get fast service. Would highly recommended this place. Please note it is a take away place only, they do not have any chairs or tables for you to eat at. Strictly takeaway but still busy as the prices and food is superb

Two sided review. The wait is extremely long which isn’t a negative but I’m highlighting that the wait can be an hour if there are a few people waiting. Large orders come I guess and the staff aren’t quick as professional restaurants or fast food joints. The chicken burger was amazing! The cheeseburger was dry, cold and lacked everything a burger makes me feel. They were busy and I guess made the burger in advance? Silly I’d think but it is what it is.

Arrived at the place just before closing time and usually people would ask you to walk away as it's almost closing time however these guys were more than happy to serve me and once they served me, the food tasted extremely delicious, for a place this small they offer quite a lot of variety and i will definetely keep coming back to try each and every item on their menu. Definetely fulfilled my cravings and the half an hour trip to place from my place was definetely worth it.

Went there on lunch break from work after hearing about it on insta @munch_box_halal and they did not disappoint. The menu was good and had a good range. Was not sure what to get so the chef recommended a beef cheese burger and he was not wrong. Probably best burger i had in a long time. All was hand made which is great. Definitely be going again. Having read the above comment I decided to go and try it out myself. I tried the chicken thigh burger and yes it was Rather large in size as it was a leg and thigh peice. I am currently a trainee butcher and I know about the meat cuts and texture. I can confirm that it was not turkey. The food was well done and tasty. The burger was warm and very edible. I have returned to this place 3 times now and have not been disappointed. It’s not to everyones l taste yet it is a unique product. Thank you.

Absolutely lovely. I ordered a meal for myself which included the chicken thigh burger (it had chicken strips inside it), jalapeno & cheesy poppers & chocolate doughnut with custard. I was a bit worried about how it would taste after reading the google reviews from people who had the food delivered and didn't like it. There was clearly a trend of bad experiences with people that used the delivery service compared to phenomenal reviews from those that went in person. It arrived nice and hot and the poppers were so creamy and full of flavour, the chicken thigh burger was huge but the combination of that and the spicy chicken strips was excellent. My favourite part of the meal was the doughnut with custard, I couldn't believe how soft and tasty it was and my brother thoroughly enjoyed it too more than any other shop. Thank you so much for your service and food.

I have been twice now and tried a variety of the dishes. Back there this coming Friday! My particular favourites (and looking forward to trying some more) are the paneer, asparagus, tartiflette, mac & cheese and the ramen. The broccoli burger, the special last Friday was also lovely. Ordered through Deliveroo vegan Mac N Cheese and the Spinach and Tofu Curry, love the flavours! Absolutely delicious, good size portions and delivered quickly. Will order again.

Brilliant and exciting production. Of course the story is strong, intelligent and surprising. The acting was spot on and the setting was beyond my expectations. If you're visiting London, We are not british ourselfs so at times it was difficult to understand but its a great play. The location is fantastic. Different from any other play you have seen. The actors do a good job.

Husband got food for us. The prices are great cheap and cheerful so can't complain. The bbq burger needed more bbq flavour so May be next time I'll ask for more? I also had the double cheese burger which was delicious. The cheese balls were fantastic. The chip portion was very small but I'm heavily pregnant so everything looks small to me ha but I can see people have said something similar. The nutella dessert was yummy bit pricy for the small portion but it defo worth a try. Will be ordering again soon

The triple cheeseburger is great, have been getting it for ages, which would’ve given them 5 stars, but the service is often poor. Today we wanted to get the advertised £1 chicken mayo burger, however the guy denied they ever offered the £1 saver menu, when i showed him the screenshot they are advertising he shrugged his shoulders and just stayed silent. He tried charging me extra for the burger, but as they only take cash i didn’t have enough for the large order i was placing. I can understand if this was a mistake but the poor attitude and lack of explanation definitely left a bad taste.

Usually food and service is good when its quiet. When theres 2 or 3 people ordering the food quality goes down a little and mistakes on orders. Staff can get a little defensive when you go back to correct the order. All in all given the cheap price, I think its worth putting up with it.

The greatest Chicken Shop in East London. Forget Papas, Favorite, Dixy and all those stupidly expensive Gourmet places. Have a burger here and you won't regret it or forget it. It is a little pricey but well worth it, don't get this place twisted with cheapo fast food places. This is for reals!

I had a wicked Burger (I call it, The Twin Tower Burger, TT) with Chunky Chips 🍟 topped with Cheese and Mince with BBQ Wings🍗. Build it Up Burger 🍔, built my own Burger, Homemade 🏠Juicy Beef Patti, topped with Melted Cheese, topped with another Beef Patie 🍔, another slice of Cheese 🧀, 4 Gherkins, topped with Caramelized Onions and lastly some Mince Meat, topped with some Spicy 🌶 Mayonnaise .......
