Reviews of My Shish

We loved our time here - great food and shisha! Perfect for a special occasion or just a good munch. We went on a Monday and it was really quiet (which worked well for us!)
The decor is super nice, both in the restaurant and back. The steaks were seasoned nicely and the shisha was prepped really well. Can't fault the guys on anything.
A decent steak will set you back ~£30. Add a drink and side to that and the costs add up. But well worth it!

It was a great experience. The steak was great but the service was very poor. My friend was served food first and it took them over half an hour to serve my food, purely for that reason I would rate them a little lower. If I was purely rating food then I would give them 4stars. I enjoyed my stake, it was perfectly made.

A spot with a wow factor is a new FULLY HALAL spot located in North East London with a Turkish inspired menu with a great atmosphere.
This place is great for the gram, ideal for nights out, theres food cooked with fireshows, food cut at the table, flower walls 😉, cool vibes, modern clean decor and a car park on site which is very convenient (can get filled up, I went on a Tues at 7.30pm)
I'm not really one that goes to restaurants for the vibes, but I enjoyed the atmosphere created here.
What I tried 👇
Drinks 🍹
Pina colada £8
Caribbean fresh £9
Le petit tequila £5
Appetizers🦐
Shredded Beef tacos £11.49
Dynamite prawns £11.49
My Shish BBQ ribs £18.89
Sweet potato fries £5.49
Mains 🍴
Cheesey Meat Ball £22.95
Special Fillet Mignon 250g with Fire show £42
The drinks I had were excellent, I recommend this place more for "vibes" rather the food, as it has areas of improvement. I was invited, but I have to give you my honest opinion. Every dish (apart from BBQ ribs) had issues. If I was a paying customer, I would of sent back a lot of food to the Kicthen. Dynamite Strimp were very poor, no batter, sauce lacked flavour, even the colours looked wrong.
The headline dish was the £42 fillet mignon thats served with the fire show featured in the video. You are paying for the show here which I enjoyed, but the steak was not great, I requested medium rare but most slices were over cooked rendering it tough and chewy.
Shredded Beef (tacos) was good, just the taco itself was stale and soft.
If you get the beef ribs, it's enough for 2 people to share as you get 2 beef short ribs. These were good.
The prices are also expensive for the location, more like Central London prices and from looking around the restaurant, the most popular item ordered was a burger and chips, maybe due to the moderate price of around £15
Service: I was invited, staff were told to give me extra attention. Although some looked inexperienced, staff were friendly and attentive, no major issues.
Overall I think the current 3 star rating is fair. The food is average but the decor and atmosphere is good.

I was pleasantly surprised because I had read some bad reviews, but I did not experience any of those issues. Despite parking spaces being limited and being a sunday before a bank holiday, we managed to find parking although I will also advise to go in earlier incase as the spaces are limited. I found the staff very welcoming and polite, especially Shareef and Zain who were always serving with a smile. The decor in the restaurant was pleasant.
And now the main part, the food!
We opted for beef sushi as starters. Whilst I really enjoyed the dish being prepped with fire at the table, I found the flavours a bit lacking on that dish. However, we thoroughly enjoyed all of the rest of our dishes such as the special filetmignon, the tomahawk steak, the golden burger, the brownies and the golden baklava to finish.
I found the meat to be very soft and delicious and I definitely need the prep recipe for the asparagus!
The fireshow and the salt bae gestures was a great touch that added magic to the dish and it enhanced the experience.
The mocktails were delicious and definitely instaworthy, albeit I would have preferred it to be a real cocktail.
All in all I enjoyed my time there and I will be back with friends.

We went out for my friend's birthday and we had a really good time. The food was average, it could have been better and a bit overpriced.
However, the service was outstanding! Shout out to Rhea, Addie and Shareef!! Thank you for your time and hospitality, we had a great experience 😊
Rhea was so friendly and welcoming at the front desk ❤ Addie was so nice and friendly with her service 😘 Shareef was so attentive, patient and positive, always had a smile on his face 😊
The baklava was delicious and Shareef chopped it up nicely and sprinkled the topping 🤣 We loved all of their birthday sing alongs and fire shows 🔥 The flower wall at the entrance is the spot for pictures 👌🏼💯

For starters (pun intended), the BBQ ribs are huge so unless you're a competitive eater, I'd recommend ordering one to share between two people. The fillet mignon flame show is a nice touch for special occasions. Mocktails were like any other you get in similar establishments (Tarshish, Lokkum). Food was good, albeit a bit expensive for what it was, as was the service which was ruined towards the end when we ordered dessert. After asking for the 3rd time, we were served a flat, chewy, lukewarm brownie served with ice-cream sporting SERIOUS freezer burn that had just been thrown on the slate 😶 The fact that the icecream was part-melted confirmed my suspicions the dish had been left out and forgotten about. The only pic I got was blurry because I was laughing at how pathetic the quality/presentation was - still charged us £8 for it. It's okay for a one-off, nothing wow once you've witnessed the flame show. The interior is nice - very 'instagrammable'.
