J. M.Not your average Indian restaurant. Nice variety dishes you wouldn’t get in your standard Tandooris, cooked well, full of flavour. Also a nicely designed restaurant. Did feel like we were rushed to leave towards the end of our meal.

We came for lunch as a family 4 adults and a child. Its priced abit high for what it is as its the location their in, such as Highgate but still still nice around the area. The decor was lovely and staff was were nice and friendly.
C. w.Absolutely fantastic food, I came here alone on a quiet Wednesday and got the tandoori chicken with spices, it came with salad and the best homemade naan I've ever had and was the perfect portion size. The wine list was ok however was priced higher than my recent visit to covent garden. Beautiful decor 10/10 experience will be back soon!!
M. C.We had a delicious dinner with my family on Thursday night at Namaaste Highgate. Staff were very attentive and the food here is great! I loved the Pav Bhaji, Street food and Aloo papri chaat. Highgate Namaaste is our new favourite restaurant with such a beautiful interior decoration. We will definitely be back and tell our friend.
S. T.It was a special occasion and we decided to go out for dinner rather late in the day and really fancied some good Indian cuisine. I found this place and chose it because the menu looked good and they were more than happy to accommodate us at such short notice. We called before departure and they said it would be fine, we were later then planned and arrived just before 10pm. My main concern was that we would be rushed, I needn't had worried, the staff were very welcoming and incredibly attentive to us, considering the time and day of the week (Tuesday night) the place was relatively busy. We decided to opt for several small dishes instead of a few mains for a change. The food was presented well and tasted really good, really glad we chose this place. We were the last ones to leave and at no point felt unwelcome, would definitely go back.

My partner and I dined here on a Friday night and had the most gorgeous fragrant dishes, the Seafood Moilee was fabulous! Our waiter was brilliant and advised us to cut back on our order for fear we wouldn't be able to finish the dishes, he was correct and we ordered the perfect amount, we were grateful for the advice as hate food waste!
Would return in a heartbeat!
Y. M.Exceeded our expectations. Varied and inventive menu offering modern Indian cuisine. Very attentive smiley waitress despite the restaurant being full. Less than a week later, we are going back!
A. K.Considering the excellent description of choice of foods in the menu I was disappointed my curry was not something special. We enjoyed our food but it was cooked and served super fast and clearly was just a regular curry.
C. D.We were 3 ladies waiting on a 4th looking to have a drink and ended up kerbside here. What a delight, now there was only 1 meal had because the rest of us had just eaten but we happily whiled away a few hours here partaking in their cocktails. T. P.It’s a lovely Indian restaurant with great food and excellent customer service. The manager was very helpful in suggesting food as we wanted to try out new items on the menu. We did have some yummy food based on his suggestions. The manager also had good knowledge of dishes as we asked lot of questions as my husband has few allergies. The restaurant can do with bit of refurbish specially tables. Overall a lovely experience.

At first we were seated at the table which seemed very small(all of them are actually very small) but after speaking to the manager he managed to get us an extra table and made us feel very comfortable. Very helpful guy. Lovely customer service and excellent food. Lovely staff as well. Even though it was busy we got excellent service and not being rushed to finish quickly. Looking forward to come again.

P. K.I hardly ever give 5 stars to any place but they definitely deserve it. The food was delicious, and they were very willing to take into account my special wishes. The service was friendly and helpful, portions in a good size and the restaurant has a pleasant and calm atmosphere without too loud music. They have plenty of vegan options, and everything was fresh.

S. N.Very friendly staff. Food ( by Indian standards) is 5/10. Much better than curry house food but certainly not amazing good. Be aware that doggy bag option means that they put some (not all) the food in a takeaway box. Why they discard food without informing a customer is puzzling. What's even harder to explain is why they have a policy of putting all the dishes in the same takeaway container - how can you mix veg with non veg in the same plastic box!! What of the mess of combined flavours and also religious/dietary beliefs? A dry okra-mango dish in the same container as heavy mutton curry! Anyway, didn't live up to the high expectations and rave reviews but not a bad place for ok food.
A. S.Perhaps the best Indian food I have had in London in recent times. Really fresh taste and awesome flavours, you can smell the fragrance of fresh spices on kebabs and meat. Curries too were awesome, I would certainly recommend this place.

I love their turbans decorations on the wall. This is a great addition to our Highgate scene. A modern slick restaurant and food here is lovely. Kerala fish curry or the biryani.
Looking forward to dining in again Next week.

A. K.I discovered the place walking home from Hampstead Heath. They were selling mulled wine and nibbles. As this year I couldn't go to a Christmas Market, I was very happy sipping my hot wine :) The main reason of my review is not this, but WHEN WE ODERED FOR TAKE OUT. It was very quick and very tasty ! I am a big fan of spices, so I ordered the spicy lamb, my 3 years old doesn't like spicy and they were very helpful to recommend a nice dish to her. All in all, we will definitely will order again !! FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE !
J. S.This is our new favourite Indian restaurant in Highgate. We’ve been having takeaway during the lockdown atleast once a week!
The food is just so delicious and authentic, last weekend we’ve had a fabulous family dinner for six of us. We managed to try some of the street food items, the papri chaat, bhalpoori and the chops are great too.
Our main course proper curries, Mangalore Kori Gassi, old Delhi chicken biryani and Karol Bagh Butter Chicken.
Our kids loved their masala chips and pav bhajee.
We liked their interior too, they seems to be in too of COVID rules and have devider in the restaurant and cannot wait to have proper meal inside.
Highly recommended this new restaurant.

Would definitely come again and recommend to anyone who wants to try some delicious Indian street food.

M. A.Delicious food in a really pretty venue. Trying not to go out too much given current circumstances, but glad I came here. Staff were really nice and helpful, food was top tier, and there was a great ambiance to the evening. Would come again.
O. F.We had a lovely meal, the food tasted great (lamb was a particular highlight) and the place is decorated really nicely. It’s a real transformation from the old Strada restaurant that was here before, in terms of layout and decor.
We had an amazing waiter called Al who was really attentive, offered great insights into the different dishes (there are a lot on the menu!) and made us feel really well looked after.
The only problems that we had were:
- With one or two of the other staff. We had a table at the back of the restaurant so could see most of what was going on. Only Al was actually rushing around making sure all of the tables were served and had what they were after, whilst remaining friendly and efficient. The rest of the staff seemed to be a fair bit less focussed
-We ordered two things (raita and a brownie) from another member of staff. Neither of the dishes came and the raita was even included on the final bill
All in all, the food was lovely, the place is nicely decorated and has a good buzz. We’d definitely come back as it’s great to see a nice, independent restaurant up and running in the village.
H. J.Lovely relatively new addition to Highgate Village. The decor is lovely. The starters of paneer, chicken lollipops and papri chart were delicious. The breads, raita and punjabi salad were quite authentic. The okra curry was on point. The butter chicken and tarka daal could benefit from a bit more spice. Service was good. Will return for sure.

G. T.Went on Friday 9th October which was their first Friday service after opening and having to adapt to covid protocols. Yes we had to wait a bit due to teething problems, but the food was outstanding and worth the wait. Staff were pleasant and apologetic for the delay. Will absolutely return.
M. H.A fantastic contemporary Indian - just what we needed in Highgate. Can't fault the food or service. We had the Butter Chicken and Prawn something-or-other (onion seed, tomato, spice base). Both fantastic. Prawns were enormous and well cooked, base to curry was exceptional. Drinks were well priced and good quality - my Old Fashioned was huge and well made. Great atmosphere, music upbeat Bollywood, staff very attentive, and a happy vibrant vibe. Welcome "Namaste" to Highgate - thoroughly recommend.
