Reviews of Namaaste Kitchen
M. P.
Met the wife after work. She chose this restaurant. Mostly curry dishes. We perused the menu whilst drinking a mojito and a large red wine, with very light crisp pompadoms. The food was good. The service slightly formal but efficient and friendly.
P. W.
We were in Camden last week, a friend recommended to us. We were not disappointed. We had a delicious dinner with my family. The staff were very friendly and the food here is great! I loved the Kori Gassi and the spicy lamb curry Laal Maas.
Namaaste is going to be our new favourite with such a beautiful clean interior. We will definitely be back and tell our friends.

@namaastekitchen London 🇬🇧
What we ordered 🖊
Chicken Beliram
Pistachio chicken korma
Chicken tikka masala
Thoughts 💭
The pistachio chicken and tikka masala were to die for. I love it when Indian restaurants blend up a lot of nuts into the sauces as I think it gives it an incredible thick texture. We would 100% order both these curries again if we returned (probably would as it was reasonably priced and delicious). The beliram whilst really nice wouldn’t be enough to stop me from exploring other parts of the menu.
M. C.
Had a delicious dinner with my partner on a busy Friday night at Namaaste Kitchen. The service was attentive, I loved the chicken tikka shahlik it was out of this world. It’s such a delight to have restaurant service authentic Indian food with beautiful snd clean surrounding. We will definitely be back.

Summit quickly went through the menu to give us some ideas. Good food friendly staff

Excellent meal today at Namaaste Kitchen. Highly recommended... menu is very good with Indian fusion food. Staff are friendly and price is great. Can't wait to visit again very soon.
Z. P.
Tasty food, but I was disappointed to receive my takeout in plastic boxes. Could it not be recyclable foil and cardboard?
Lovely curries - the tandoori portobello mushroom was particularly good.
I. C.
Delicious food, fantastic service and lovely interior. Not sure how you could write a negative review about this place. We’ve recently moved to the area and this will become one of our regular/go to restaurants!
D. M.
I’ve ordered from this place three times now and I haven’t been disappointed yet! Firstly, they have dal makhani on the menu which can be a bit hard to find. The quality of their food is outstanding and service is also really friendly. Very happy I found this place!
R. G.
Beautiful interior, staff and most importantly food. Well done 👏🏼
N. M.
Absolutely delicious Indian food - we had the tokri chaat, the crab, the prawn biryani, the duck and the matar paneer. The food was really flavourful and delicious. Service was a bit slow, but the food definitely made up for it. Will be back!
N. B.
Food was very authentic Indian and very tasty. Staff friendly!! Only negative was that they don’t clean up the table between courses even when asked and it makes for messy conversations.
V. P.
Had a wonderful experience with my close friends here. Walkable from the Camden station.
Best n great quality food with lots of variety. Their platters are really delicious and fulfilling yet very reasonable. Moreover their staff is very prompt and hospitable.
Must try are
1.Galouti Kebab
2.Chicken Tikka Teen Tarike Se
3. Manglorean Korri Gassi Chicken for the curry
Obviously with a pint of Kingfisher Lager - u do reminisce the king of good times😜
I highly recommend anyone who loves Indian food to go visit this place. Loved their ecstatic ambience and cordial hospitality.
Ensuring the hygiene issues they become one of the best out the crowd.
Affordable tariff!
All smiles 😃😃😃
Best wishes✌🏼

Although we were left somewhat underwhelmed by Salaam Namaste in 2017, we're pleased to say that Namaaste Kitchen by and large impressed, with a number of outstanding dishes, including arguably one of the best curries we've had in quite some time.
Although their beverages could do with some more thought and attention, the food was, baring one dish, largely quite impressive, making this a good option if you're in the area.
They're offering 15% off both delivery and collection for orders made directly via their website (collection 12pm - 10pm; delivery 5.30pm - 10pm).
Note also that a discretionary 12.5% service charge will be added to your bill for dinning in.

A lovely lady welcomed us here when visiting Camden Market. Food was OK, service was great and prices were okayish too.
*.
Delicious food and a lot to choose from. I definitely recommend. Very good portion and a very cosy place.
A. S.
Ate here while we were in Camden Town. 2 main courses aloo mirch and a mixed kebab with chilli onion naan with gulab jamun for desert including the complentary tip ran us back almost £50. Kebab was cooked and seasoned well, aloo mirch was good but not great looked better on the plate than how it tasted and naan was perfect no faults, plus the desert was tasty. The only problem was it took more than an hour to get served food wait time was so long we thought about leaving 45 mins into waiting for our food.
r. b.
Fantastic evening great food excellent service all covid safe - all on one level - staff were very friendly and knowledgeable - 2 minute walk from the holiday inn - high quality ingredients makes for a very tasty meal - highly recommended
m.
Great dining experience. Our table shared starters & mains. All dishes were fabulous. Service time was longer than expected, but worth the wait.
T. J.
If you love real Indian food this is a must the chef is from Mumbai and cooks the most delicious curry's soo goood!!! Also try the Mojito's yum!!
B. T.
Very good food. Fast service. They have vegetarian options, and they made for me tomato and onion salad. They just across the Whole foods. I paid 23 pounds for a salad a main dish with basmati rice and masala chai.
W. T.
Good food and service and well worth a visit.
K. W.
Best Indian I’ve ever had. Their almond naan is awesome. Everything is flavourful. Also we were on 25% off deal on foods :D
P. B.
Went here for Xmas dinner last night with my wife and baby. The food was really good, decor too. Service was really prompt and very caring and friendly! Which is difficult to find these days.
J. R.
Absolutely delicious, perfect level of heat, and date and ginger naan – had never heard of it until now – so soft, mildly sweet, so good!
P. K.
Fresh and well prepared dishes with high quality ingredients. Would be nice to have more vegan options and bigger portions since the dishes are very very pricey. Also more depth to flavors and less oil would enhance the dishes even if they are already good. Service is ok. Restaurant atmosphere is calm and pleasant.
T. S.
Just across the street of my house. Always my first choice for a Indian cuisine. Most of the time getting the set meal for 2 for collection and it’s just perfect! Everything is incredible, the amount of food is just generous. Always have something left for a seconds! Eaten here before lockdown as well. They have amazing cocktails, last time I was there I had gingerbread espresso martini and it was brilliant as was the service! They are very friendly there. Definitely ordering/coming back again!!!
Highly recommended.
G. M.
Food was an absolutely incredible experience. We all ordered different dishes and I have got to say they were all amazing. Cocktails impressively executed and a great way to modernise Indian food. The only down side to the experience was the staff not being polite nor attentive.
R. S.
The food is really awesome. The staff are the most amazing people. Specially the waitress who suggests about the best cuisines at the restaurant. Her suggestions were awesome. We loved the food and the aura the place. It's a must go place for people from Asian Subcontinent in London.
L. M.
What a gem in Camden! Great food, welcoming and professional staff and lovely interior. We have been eating-in and having take aways, always a 100% satisfaction. Back soon )) Namaste!
K. J.
Excellent food. The best lamb biryani I’ve had in a long time and the date and ginger naan and paratha were also delicious. Restaurant had a good ambience and service was quick and attentive. Highly recommended.
M. N.
Amazing food...
Loved it, totally worth it.
They didn’t serve us the complimentary Papadums, not sure why.
But other than that I loved the food.
b. k.
Me and my friends thoroughly enjoyed the Namaaste experience. The staff was cordial and made us feel home. Particularly, the waitress was professional and yet friendly. Overall, I should say its a lovely quaint place.
S. B.
This is our favourite Indian restaurant in north London. The quality of the food remains excellent, even as a take away. The Chicken Tikka Masala is the most flavourful we have tasted so far. We tend to take our family there, when visiting London, but also treat ourselves to their lovely dishes on a normal week-night, which is always something to look forward to. Their customer service and delivery is also exceptional.
m. s.
I felt the chef must be best knowledged one I enjoyed the meal very much as it remind me of 1980's chefs cooking and you don't get those tastes these days. Thank you Namaste Kitchen for waking my taste buds.
M. C.
Loved it.
Great food, fair prices, takes a bit to get out of the kitchen but was worth the wait.
A. A.
I booked a table for 7pm but then had to reschedule it to 7:45 at the last minute and they were really accommodating of that. We ordered a paneer dish and butter chicken and it was nothing short of delicious. They also organised a small birthday cake with candles for my friends bday which was really nice of them. Overall an amazing experience and will definitely go back...
A. M.
I had an absolutely delightful meal here. I had spent the last couple of months in London eating a lot of Indian food. I felt that Namaaste was awesome and different because it used the ingredients in London, not just those of India. It to me made the food refreshing. The staff was wonderfully nice too. I was dining alone, and they were very helpful without being overbearing.
L.
Great service, delicious food. The Goan sea bass is sensational! Becoming a local favourite of ours.
E. M.
This is the best Indian restaurant I've been to and I've tried loads. Food is first class and friendly staff.
P. S.
Really liked that restaurant. Good Indian food. Nice ambience. Very friendly staff. Very near to Camden Town
m. m.
Good spicy food.
But even bettert was the service, Ana was very polite and a great hostess.
Thank you for the for the suggestions on the menu.
C. G.
I absolutely love this restaurant. I went out with my sister for some sibling bonding and I was taken a back how lovely the food was. Just try the food before you judge. It was so lovely I'm definitely going back here, top restaurant in my eyes. I would travel to camden just to eat here.
S. S.
Everything was just perfect about this place, the Food, ambiance, service. A must go for Indian cuisine lovers!
T. P.
If anyone gives this place less than Five stars then i truly do not know what restaurants you have been going to, by far this is the best tasting Indian restaurant in London. Very professional staff providing an exceptional service outstandingly 100% off the time all the time. Contacting in to speak with management today, to give compliments to the staff and the chef! The food is very tasty. You guys have never let me down to perform and you are my first point of call for any recommendations when ordering a curry.
If you are not getting a take away and are eating in the service does not stop there, from welcome, polite staff opening the door and pulling the seat our for you and your lady, right through to serving you in the evening! You will not find anywhere better than this! And i hope these guys are around for a long time.
Keep it up guys!
J. C.
Came here recently after a trip to London zoo as its only a few minutes walk away.
The food is nothing short of exceptional, this isn't your typical high street curry house, it has so many lovely dishes.
I had a paneer dish and my husband has a chicken dish. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the paneer was so delightful. I would make trips to Camden just to eat here. Also the Indian wine we had was nice.
Thank you so much. Xxx
j. j.
The food here tastes like the food back home in India. I recommend trying out the Mangalorean Korri gassi. The food was delicious - we shared spicy king prawns, dal makhani, chana masala & sag paneer accompanied by tandoori roti. All excellent. Would definitely order from here / eat in again!
R. M.
Amazing vegan dishes
So tasty
W. L.
Best Indian in Camden. Amazing vegetarian selection. Vegetarian options like I've never tasted before. Whether it's been a takeaway or an eat in option, the food has always been exemplary here. So fresh and tasty and with Indian flavours I've never experienced anywhere else - even in India! You can use a (Gormet Society) dining card at certain times / days if you call up and book in advance only.
C. G.
Amazing customer service! We waited for a while to be seated eventhough we had a reservation but once we had our table everything went smooth. we were offered 1st round of drinks on the house which was very nice touch from the management!
The food was great but definitely way too much food!!!! We couldn't manage to eat so we had to ask to take away which was done immediately! Lovely place!
T. S.
Nice food and reasonably priced within close proximity to Camden station
L.
Celebrated sister's birthday. Staff happily took cake & decorations away before everyone arrived. Lively & lovely part of London, tables well set apart, nicely decorated with exotic class. The food was really good, a little different to your average Indian establishment. The staff were quietly in the background, obliged with photos, and surprised us with bringing out the cake adorned with lit candles, singing happy birthday for my sister! Please do visit there.
P. C.
Come to this restaurant through recommendation and did not disappoint! Really good food, all big portions and great taste and friendly staff! Would highly recommend!
S. K.
Visited on Feb 14. At first I was a bit annoyed about the fact that all restaurants have a special menu around holidays like this, but I have to say the staff at Namaste more than delivered. The food was amazing. Great flavors and service and can definitely tell the effort is there. It always makes me happy when I see quality restaurants like this.
S. D.
This is the best Indian food I have ever had.I booked for my Twins sons 18th birthday. The waitress was ever so kind and helpful, she set our table with balloons and banners. . My sons were very happily surprised. They absolutely loved the food and cocktails 🍸 I All the staff sang happy birthday when they brought out their birthday cake. I honestly can say they made my son 18th birthday memorable. Thank you to all the staff for a great evening 🤗😀⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
C. F.
Went there for lunch and the food was absolutely amazing. Very generous portions for a reasonable price. I can highly recommend the Malay King Prawns and the Biryani Chicken. The service was great, the staff very friendly and attentive. It is also a very short walk from Camden Town station so very accessible.
R. G.
Busy and buzzy atmosphere. We liked the cocktail menu because it had some interesting mixes. The staff were friendly, attentive and efficient. The food was delicious - for instance the green king prawns and the dahl. The only down side was that we were seated near the entrance with not much passing room for staff or customers. However, we were walk in customers so we would book next time and ask to be seated further back. Overall a great experience.
D. S. R.
True Indian food! No fluff, nothing fancy!! Tasty delicious aromatic true hearty Indian food!! We tried Tokri Chat, Lamb Chops, Prawn Koliwada, Lal Maas, Chicken Beliraam & Naans !! Nothing was out of sync and for once food was as described and expected!! Staff and service add to the experience!! Must try!!
D. M.
This spot is worth trying. They have big portions for reasonable prices. Constantly well kept and with fantastic atmosphere. Will come visit again.
D. S.
So so for an overcharged valentine experience. Booked the table 2 days ago. Get a call 4 hours before my booking stating that it's a set meal and a fixed fee per head. I agreed. They took a deposit . Evening was not the best. Food was ok but service slow. Dessert had a hair found in it and we had to ask for another. Final bill issued and the deposit had not been deducted on final bill. Overall not impressed.
M. J.
Got a takeaway and it was possibly the best Indian takeaway I have ordered! Really good portion sizes and decent quality meat / veg. Felt it was quite pricey but absolutely delicious!
I. M.
Food was superb and service even better. Would 100% recommend the pistachio korma. Only negative comment was that the lamb in the rogan josh was slightly tough but the sauce was delicious and the garlic naan, mushroom rice and mango chutney in particular (along with the rest of the poppadom dips) were amazing. Onion bhaji were the best I've had and the lamb chops starter was SO tasty although tiny! Could have eaten 10. Yum will definitely be back x
J.
Organised a 60th birthday celebration here for my brother recently. We arrived a little late but this was not an issue and they were quite friendly. I think service was a little slow, starters came quickly but there was a bit of a wait for mains. Nevertheless the food was delicious and all of the guests (20+ of us) were happy with our choice. The staff were very accommodating bringing out the cake with candles and didnt rush us out, as we took a while to leave. Would highly recommend this restaurant to all who love good food especially Indian!
N. F.
Visit this restaurant on the strength of the reviews. This restaurant has made an effort to update the menu and presentation from your typical Indian restaurant. Everything we had was excellent, tasty and fresh. The food was well presented on stylish modern crockery (curved plates, slate plates etc). Service was also excellent, quick and attentive. The interior is stylish and clean, including the loos. A small error with our bill was quickly rectified. In summary, I'd say this is one of the best Indian/Pakistani restaurants in N/NW London (I've been to many!) and I shall return.
S. Z.
It’s a very nice and cozy restaurant in a local neighborhood. Food is fresh and tastes amazingly! The service is supreme! The restaurant is clean and well maintained. Prices are average, not too high but not cheap. Good food cannot be cheap! When I visit London, I eat here 3-4 times a week. Highly recommend!
L. R. (.
The food is really good. But we ask for cutlery so we can eat in the park. However they didn’t give us any. Furthermore we ordered a mango lassi for take away however the packaging is not suitable for take away. How am I supposed to drink it out of a box ? Shall I eat my food with my fingers. If I wouldn’t have ask it’s okay but I specifically ask for cutlery and was told it wouldn’t be an issue. And the lassi was warm.
N. S.
I have been cooking and eating Indian food for over 45 years and I thoroughly enjoyed the service, ambiance and good taste of our food. The food was very creative and modern. They accommodated my desire for tweaking the spicing and ingredients. I tasted nothing but the best oils and cooking fats in the food. Highly recommend this restaurant.
D. O.
Really great food, went with a few colleagues for a lunch catch up and it was exactly what we needed, good hearty food with a nice cold refreshing beer to wash it down.
T. H.
Not all that tasty, maybe I’m used to more tasty places. My expectations were high after reading the reviews and specially the gallery picture’s but it was disappointing nothing like that, improvement can be made, specially the king prown was over fried for Kharai.
Thanks for the replacement for fresh papadums.
B. C. A.
Excellent food and friendly staff!
S. K.
Ate as a group of three. Great food, really good vegetarian options including chaat, paneer and a tofu dish which is still too rare in Indian restaurants. Would definitely visit again
M. J.
Got a takeaway and it was possibly the best Indian takeaway I have ordered! Really good portion sizes and decent quality meat / veg. Felt it was quite pricey but absolutely delicious!

Nice place for Indian food, must try

LOVE THIS PLACE THE BEST EVERRRRRR
M. Q.
Most Indian restaurants' food tastes good but a bit samey.
This place stands out. The flavours are awesome, unique, they really stand out.
Service is good, prices reasonable.
Strongly recommended. Enjoy! =)
S. K.
Gem! They should charge more. Food is outstanding, always fresh, a lot of flavor. Menu has its classics and some very cool twists like duck starter or soft shell crab. Service - great! Feel like leaving a tip. A must eat in Camden!
이. L.
Perfect place to use 50% scheme. People were very kind and nice

Gem! They should charge more. Food is outstanding, aways fresh, a lot of flavour. Menu has its classics and some very cool twists like duck starter or soft shell crab. Service - great! Feel like leaving a tip. A must eat in Camden!

I’ve been looking for a good sag paneer for takeout all over London. I’m typically disappointed by sweat, light computed and creamy sag’s, but Namaaste Kitchen did not disappoint with a delicious dark, savoure and spicy sag. I ordered parotta bread which was divine as well. Will definitely ordered again now that I know they have the kind of Sag I like.
B.
We had searched all over London to find the best Butter Chicken and finally found it here. It's a favorite dish of my teenage son and he was on a mission to find just the right taste.
Great Manager, friendly staff, great food, great presentation. I'd say 4.5 stars. 0.5 off only for the tight seating arrangements
We will go back
S. P.
One of the best Indian restaurants in Northwest London. Me and my wife both love good Indian food and came here on the basis good reviews on London eating etc. We were not disappointed. The kebabs were the standout and compared well to many restaurant s we have been to in Mumbai. Also great chutneys! Service was attentive and the ambience was good with a nice Friday evening vibe!
J. A.
Some of it was amazing. Naans were especially good. However service was a little off. The waiter talked me out of ordering things and whilst one of our meals was lovely the other lacked flavour.
T. B.
BEST. CURRY. EVER! The chicken Madras is so full of flavour and punch it's amazing. Add a Keema Naan on the side which is beautifully fresh and fluffy and you're in heaven! Delicious
S. K.
Ate as a group of three. Great food, really good vegetarian options including chaat, paneer and a tofu dish which is still too rare in Indian restaurants. Would definitely visit again
F. O.
Beautiful food as ever 😊 just a couple of pointers Felt a little rushed and more in need of space plus service charge more than expected However, as said, food is delightful
H. G.
To be fair, they were superb prawns, and I would have been happy with an entire bucket of them. For a main, we tried the Gurda Keema Taka Tak (and even managed to pronounce it correctly upon ordering...) which is a take on the roadside dish of lab and kidney. Large portion at £11.95- plenty for the two of us to share. Very good and not something I would expect to see on a typical Indian menu.
L. v. M.
Beautiful prepared Indian food, great flavours for every single element and portions are big enough. We are curry lovers but this one is definitely one of our favourites !
S. M.
Coming from NZ where we have amazing Indian food (albeit westernized) we were shocked to arrive in London and not experience the same!
This is the FIRST Indian restaurant which served food that tasted remotely like actual Indian food. It was not too spicy, even the hot dish would only be considered medium to any person who regularly eats spicy.
We tried the Butter Chicken (tangy and flavourful!), the Chicken Beliram (Great ghee based dish) and the Tandoori Chicken which had a beautiful rich crust on it from the Tandoor.
We also tried a naan and a paratha, both fresh, and the lemon rice.
Thank you Namaaste! I think a lot of the reviews you have are from people who have such bland taste they wouldn't know a good curry if it hit them upside the head! Your rating should be much much higher!
F. N. L. B.
I'd put five stars if it wasn't for the fact that they charged some starters they offered. Everything else was perfect. State of the art biryani with a brilliant twist: a pomme grenate yogurt side. We also asked for a regional chicken masala. Wonderful sauce, right on the spot. Not too oily, not to chunky. Wonderful achievement. The lamb samosas we order as starters were okay. I'd highly recommend this place for anyone craving some good, modern and satisfying Indian food.
C.
Ate here on Friday night and it was some of the best Indian food we've ever eaten. My girlfriend asked for a chilli paneer which was not on the menu but they happily made it for her and it was lovely! Manager was very nice and we will certainly be back.
M. C.
Lovely quaint restaurant with excellent food and service. Best Indian food I've had in the area
T. C.
Well worth a visit. Original and flavourful cocktails. The food is very homely with a sophisticated edge. We had soft shell crab, achari paneer, samosas, a fish platter and potato and cheese dumpling. £70. Dumplings and samosa were the standout dishes.
M. F.
Fantastic meal and great service. The staff were excellent.
D. K.
Excellent modern Indian food here in stylish and comfortable surroundings. Food is not apologetic in use of spices so if you're sensitive to chilli you may want to consult with the staff. Even I had to admit the biriyani was hotter than I would have made, (and absolutely fantastic for it although I can imagine it would put some people off).
My 3 trips here (over about three years) have never disappointed. My only gripe is its not closer to home for more regular visits!
Y. M. M.
Restudent presentation was absolutely awesome. Compare to other restaurants prices are littlebit expensive, but food presentation and way of serving food was good. All staff are very friendly. Good to bring family and friends. Over all everything was great.
O. d. d.
The food is delicious!!! Excellent quality food and drinks, just the butter chicken was a bit dry, but still very tasty. I'll try the lunch offer next time, to see if it's the same quality as the a la carte menu.
D. M.
Went with my family last week.
Excellent service, worth trying delicious Indian food
E. Z.
Food was okay but the service was SO slow! We had another thing planned after dinner and we allowed ourselves plenty of time, but it seemed that the waiters didn't want to serve us at all! We sat there for probably around 10-15 minutes before we even got the menus (and we only got those after requesting). We've ordered some poppadoms for the table but these were all gone before we even ordered the mains. We also waited long for the food but we were in a big group so I guess you can't blame them for that. We ended up being late for our event. I probably wouldn't come back even though I liked the food
S. A. T.
Nice quality layout, a bit tight but to be expected in london. Friendly helpful staff. Best bit is the taste of the food and sauces which is just delicious. At 16.95 a biriyani dish or tandoori mix grill, plus service charge and poppadoms plus a drinks, its not cheap, but not unusual for london, so about 60 for two minimum. If in a big group, do organise how youll cover bill, as can get confusing, we came up short possibly due to people ordering extra drinks.
C. W.
Best curry in the area!! A must try if you are looking for delicious authentic Indian food in Camden Town. Impeccable service made the whole experience wonderful. Highly recommend!

After visiting the camden market area, me and my friend sat down at Namaaste kitchen by chance. The food was very good, the service was fast, and the waitress was friendly. Definetly worth a try if you're into spicy Indian food.
L. P.
Modern Indian cuisine with a more interesting menu than most Indian restaurant. It's quite a small restaurant but it's a good location - just off Camden High Street. Amazing presentation and excellent staff. A lovely place to know.
J. M.
Fantastic food, cocktails were delicious & staff were friendly & helpful
D. A.
Such great good. Awesome place. They always are welcoming
J. L.
This was the best indian food I've had for years.....And I've travelled!
Great presentation..great taste..spicy but tasty spicy if you know what I mean? Good ambiance...good postions... great modern twist on a authentic kitchen
M. B.
Food is good, but staff is so rude that you can't enjoy. Food takes long to come. They charge + £3 for any sea food, which it is not stated anywhere, just another bad surprise.
On a second visit the staff got much better. The food was great.
d. z.
Everything amazing. really loved it.
All that said my friend went with her taste card and you are meant to get 50% off all food. Seemingly they conned her as they refused to include deserts and had charged full price and would not back down. The menu was modified and not a full menu; shocker!

Food was delicious. Portions could be bigger. Great atmosphere. The mojito and Silk Pink was delicious. The Kebab sizzler was amazing and well seasoned. Affordable too. Would deffo come again.

Absolutely great service from the lovely Karan today, he went out of he's way to keep my kids happy, the food was incredible. Thank you so much we'll definitely be coming again.
K. H.
Possibly the best Indian food I've eaten in the last year. Service was fast and friendly without being obtrusive. Food arrived at appropriate speed, and while we were waiting for our starters we were presented with an additional new trial starter compliments of the chef.
Our starters included Chingree samosas, which tasted great - having a hand made feel rather than the common 'frozen wholesale thrown in the fryer' fare.
I had the Murgh Makhanwala - great presentation, well balanced and flavoursome.
My girlfriend had the Kebab Platter, which was equally pleasant including perfectly cooked Salmon Tikka. We would say though that it could have done with some form of sauce as it was a little dry (as you would expect with Kebab).
B. C.
Lovely modern indian restaurant with tasty dishes and a good wine list. My favourites are the lime chicken tikka and the lamb shank. Helpful, polite staff. Been here 4 or 5 times now and loved it.
J. L.
One of the best Indian meal I had for a very long time. Rajasthan Laal Maas was nicely flavoured and spicy, portobello mushroom and date and Ginger Nan was out of this world. Highly recommend this restaurant in Camden.
V. B.
Had a really amazing tikka masala here, the sauce was incredible and the naan bread was the best thing about the meal to be honest. Really nice food, kind of slow service and had to chase things a bit but would go back
J. T.
Absolutely excellent. One of the finest chicken curries I’ve had in a long while- get stuck into the house specialties, you won’t regret it
H. W.
Delicious food, truly delicious. I had a lovely curry similar to a Korma but spicier and a very reasonably priced Valpoceli wine which was absolutely scrumptious
D. H.
Attentive service and good option for authentic Indian.
PS: When I asked for the bill & presented the tastecard to the waiter; he said they accept Tastecard ONLY if you order minimun two courses ie Starters & Mains which I've never heard before.
S. R.
Delicious food, and fantastic service (especially Anna) will definitely be back!
J. S.
Some of the reviews on here are hilarious and really unfair. "Bad decor" must be out of date - the interior is lovely, with an open coal kitchen at the back, and giving a place 1 star because they could not sit you in the place you specified... wow. People should remember this is someone's business and be fairer in their reviews.
My food was good, lamb shank nice and tender paneer side dish also good. Date naan was a nice change but it sadly was not fresh dates inside the naan, rather a date spread on a plain naan.
Overall, 4 out of 5 because, while better than most standard Indians it needs something more to go to the next level.

Pros:
Starter was tasty
Main course was tasty
Nan bread is superb
Cons:
A bit expensive compared to quantity
Starter came after the main course
Kulifi is not homemade please do not try
Ordered one plate of pappadums - ate thinking it as one - saw the bill it was 2 - some of the reviews had the same experience . It was 1.50 pound per plate so ignored it.
Please check the bill

Had a fab dinner with my friends. Tasty food, amazing team. I got talking to an amazing lady who is working there called Victoria. She recommended amazing food and a nice Sauvignon Blanc to go with it. I am really sorry but I can't remeber what the food was called.
We will definitely return to this welcoming place!
N. N.
This is the kind of place that makes me despair about Indian food! Service was slow, people coming in after us were served before us, took over half hour for starters, 40 for mains. 131 quid for 4 , including 4 starters, 3 mains, 4 beers, bottle of wine and no pudding/ coffee, so expensive :( lack of space paid for location in parkway... overall not worth it! Try hazraj 1a fortess rd for better Indian food and atmosphere at less than half this price!
G. B.
I really liked it there. Nice furnishings, and the portions are big. I definitely will go there again. What confused me a little bit: all guys have some Indian, Bangladeshi, etc. background, but the only girl I saw working there was blonde and seemed to have quite a western background. Why?! Well, why not?!
H. W.
Interesting Indian restaurant in the heart of Camden that also does a selection of cocktails. A modern design with some classics on the menu. Well worth trying.
E. B.
Really loved the unique flavours in some of the vegan dishes and a brilliant variety to choose from too. Would highly recommend the Zardaloo Kofte!
A. M. V. R.
We used to eat here every week until lockdown and first time back today and glad to say that its still the same great food and service. So happy to be back!
R. V.
Our go-to place for excellent Indian in Camden. Garlic naan comes out perfectly every time, service is always friendly and attentive, and the curries are well balanced, flavoursome and well presented.
K. M.
I visit this place a lot since I work right next to it. I love how the customer service is always awesome and they keep the spot well organized all the time. Prices are reasonable and they serve large portions.
T. F.
Very good place, amazing food.
I will come back for sure!
D. S.
Outstandingly good food, good service and pleasant ambiance. Truly the haute cuisine of Indian food. Highly recommended - Go for the chargrilled green king prawns!
c. w.
Got a collection from them last week best tikka massala I’ve had. I waited 5 mins more that they said and they gave me a free beer whilst waiting. Carnt recommend enough thanks 😁😁
D. B.
Great food but rushed to get us out as they had a que of new customers. Not very good with drink service had to try and get waiters attention. Generally customer services needs a little work.
U. A.
Food was extremely tasty and the service excellent - big fan of Namaaste Kitchen!
T. S. L.
What makes the food so great is the innovative combinations of flavours forming dishes that not only melt in your mouth but also, thanks to the restaurant’s healthy stance, are not asheavy as those you find in traditional places. Take the starters for example, which are around the £6 mark and include the likes of a perfectly char-grilled Portobello mushroom topped off with homemade cheese infused with 15 dried fruits. Another inventive twist came with jumbo king prawns accompanied by an aubergine compote. Even our preceding basket of fresh poppadoms was devoured in no time at all thanks to delicious dips...

Ordered the Mangalorean Korti Gassi Chicken and Nimboo Kali Mirch Chicken. The first one is much better and both are hot. The Naan bread and rice is also very good. Service is good. The waiter was patient with us.
T. B.
Lives up to accolades of best Indian food in London. Flavors like I've never found in the USA. Loved the butter chicken and chicken tikka.
S. V.
Decided to try a new Indian restaurant in Camden and came to namaaste kitchen - it is the best Indian restaurant I have ever been to and Indian cuisine is my favourite food. Highly recommend 10/10.
C. &. V.
Recommended dishes:
Starter: Coriander Lime Chicken Tikka (£4.50) – beautiful, delicious, tangy, served with some magic red powder that I can’t forget…
Main: Murgh Makhanwala (£12.95) – escalopes of chicken breast grilled, then simmered in creamy butter & tomato sauce with ginger and crushed fenugreek leaves served with pulao rice - it was very good.
Drink: Mango Lasi - very flavoursome, not too sweet.
Full review can be found on Coffee & Vanilla website...

Booked a deal through living social.
The service was very unfriendly, we were served by the owner.
Food was boring and bland and very bulked out with cheap ingredients, for example rice.
Both drinks and food were very expensive especially for the quality.
I would not visit this place again or recommend it to a friend.
R. S.
Such a lovely atmosphere, cool indian music, friendly and attentive staff, indian food with a modern twist. Amazing peshwari naan, tasty aubergine and koftas. Definitely worth visiting
K. L.
Very well done food. The seabass was tender and flavours was a joy. But there was a tough part to peale the shells from the grilled kingprawns without being extremly messy... I never needed a napkin sooooooo... much!
H. M.
Indian fine dining with big choice of seafood and nice range of vegetarian and vegan dishes. Great tasting food, nice interior and polite waiters.
C. F.
Love love LOVED this place. Everything we had was incredibly tasty and the waitress was brilliant. Will certainly come back or order take out here!

Excellent Indian food, probably the best I’ve had in London. Service is very good . I’ve been going to that place for years now, I love it!
K. S.
The food was fantastic. Two of us walked in at 2100 on a Thursday and sat right down. Chicken Tikka, an awesome lamb dish, Naan, and all the fixin's. Great place to eat.
O. F.
Food was good and portions generous. In a moment of idiocy I called the restaurant to query the bill and they were extremely understanding. Recommended.

Great food, ambient atmosphere, 👍service

Something Indian-British-Punjabi mix food. I wouldn't say pure authentic Indian food with good spices.
m. h.
Extremely slow service. Never go for a 1 hour lunch and make sure you have 3 hours spare. The food is amazing but maybe that is because you get so hungry waiting.
S. P.
Small restaurant but food was great. Had a group of 14 and in fairness the team here did a good job.

Delicious food but the service took way too long. Maybe it’s better on a weeknight when there’s less people.

Surprised how low the rating is for this place, thought the food was outstanding, the value was good, the vibe was really good too - busy and lively late on Tues night

(Translated) Authentic Indian restaurant. The proof is that we saw a lot of customers of Indian origin.
The vast majority of dishes are quite spicy. For my part, I do not like that and I took one of the only dishes that was not. I enjoyed my dish. My wife and my son also have tears in their eyes. He had trouble finishing it.
If you like that kind of cuisine, go for it.

Restaurant indien authentique.

Personale gentile e locale carino. Posizione ottima e prezzi giusti (ho speso 25 sterline). Se potessi, ci tornerei volentieri!

(Translated) Namaste✔️✔️ Rich Indian restaurant in Camden, London.
🍽️🍽️Yesterday we met this Indian in Camden and we loved it. ❤️We ordered TikkaMasalla chicken and it was a success, the chicken was delicious, which is often only good because the sauce is delicious, but in this case the meat was also very well done. The waiter recommended a lamb stew with lentils and vegetables that was very good. We accompany it with garlic bread 😍 We order your beer: Cobra, very good 😙
💵💵Good price, we paid 22 pounds per person without dessert and without wine. To be in London and more in this area is very good.
👨🍳👩🍳The service is very attentive and pleasant.
The restaurant was decorated very cute😊,
very Christmas like all of London. 😍❤️

(Translated) Excellent restaurant, tastefully decorated interior, and tasty and very plentiful dishes! This Indian restaurant renews traditional dishes with carefully chosen flavors that are perfectly balanced in terms of spices. Just a little disappointed with the Cheese naan, small and very similar to the classic naan. Overall, very pleasantly surprised, I will definitely stay there again. Correct price for very generous dishes and attentive and friendly service. To discover or rediscover Indian cuisine, I recommend!

Excellent restaurant, intérieur décoré avec goût, et plats goûteux et très copieux ! Ce restaurant indien renouvelle les plats traditionnels grâce à des saveurs savamment choisies et parfaitement bien dosées en terme d'épices.
