M. A.Tried out this place for the first time. Not too bad. Enjoyed the big meal platter that gives you a variety of food to relish from. It's a stop over for lunch with friends kinda place. Definitely revisiting again.
A. T.Told it would be a 10-15 minute wait, which took over 30 minutes. Once downstairs (where you eat) it was a third full at best and the staff were not being attentive to when food was ready. The kitchen were great though, when the food began to stack up, no answer to the bell, they came out to deliver. Food tasted just as good as any other nandoes.
G. G.Acceptable wait for a table at lunchtime in London, however the app didn't allow you to add certain drinks so had to queue again for around 10 minutes to add a drink to the order. In the restaurant's defence, as soon as I raised the matter, someone sorted it out very quickly. Food was delicious and we were served in good time.
A. A.Excellent host (Malia) but the manager shouted at that poor soul and felt really bad at why she be super rude like Karen!!. One more thing that I really don't understand that 80% of the restaurant seats were empty and lots of people were told that its full and have to wait 45 minutes. Most of the people didn't even wait. Owners should retrain Karen aka manager of this Nando's branch to respect staff as people are working for money but they should be respected. Simply shame on her to be rude and shouted at the staff (Malia) In front of customers. Unprofessional.
E. D.Food great, service friendly. Packing people into a waiting zone on ground floor for 20-30 minutes while fewer than half of tables were occupied in dining zone? Without explaining to customers just looks plain daft.
N. K.I had the 10 wing platter with my family - our four choices of sides were 2 Grains and Greens (which were amazing), the Peri salted fries (also incredible), and mixed greens. I was really impressed with the chicken, and I liked the sauces you could add on. Personally, I couldn't really feel the hot sauce after having regularly eaten spicy food in California, so I went with extra hot, which packed a slight bit more of a punch, but was still relatively tame.
The staff was friendly, food delivered to our table quickly, and the quality of the food was excellent.
A. A.I did not feel welcomed when entering the restaurant. The waiter in the enterance was rude and saying ununderstandable words. Yet I am giving 5 starts just because of Marcus he is so nice and fast when it comes to service
A.The food and service here was spot on. Especially the service and waiters. Savanna, Marcus and Yasmin were our waiters and they brought in such a good environment. They made us feel soo welcomed. Marcus even had a lively conversation with us. Savanna was soo hardworking and she knew how to do her job right. Yasmin was soo nice to us. She checked up on us and asked us if we are doing alright andd happy. It was overall an amazing environment to be in.

C. Y.Nice cosy budget friendly almost fast food chain. The chicken is so delicious you may call it a queens chicken. It tastes much better than other branches around the world. For me it is UKs best brand for food. I highly recommend this place for budget eat out. The one in covent garden is quite busy. You may queue up for 30 min at least.

P. A.Chicken grill popular restaurant in London, you should try once, good taste with spicy level you can choose for their chicken menu. Always busy with people come to eat. Not difficult to find the place, you just wait for 10-15 minutes, you will have seats, then go to the counter and order and wait for your food.
D. J.I love eating at Nando’s in London and have never been disappointed the food is always piping hot and very tasty and well cooked the service was very attentive although we did eat just before the cinema.
J. P.Expansive and nicely furnished Nando’s deep below Covent Garden. I went rather late in the evening, though well within business hours, and was disappointed with the quality of service. The condiment station nearest my table was out of ketchup, so I asked a member of any more was available. She directed me to another station to look for some, but there wasn’t any there either. I was told “sorry” and that was that; they didn’t look in the back or check upstairs, just said sorry and stopped caring. I noticed later that another member of staff was refilling the day’s bottles while all this was happening; I guess that took precedence.
D. C.I have visited Nando’s Covent Garden on a couple of occasions recently after I completed half marathons in London (1st August and today). Both times were terrific and I am very impressed with the food, service and atmosphere. I am very grateful for the service I received today from Emmy, Georgina, Julia and a few others (sorry but I forgot your names!). Staff are very welcoming and polite.
I had to wait an hour for a table but that was understandable as it was peak times on a Sunday in Central! There’s lot to see and do nearby so waiting for a table is not an issue. Thanks again to you all and I hope to make another visit soon. All the best! :)
M. I.I really enjoyed having my lunch at this location. We where not kept long for our seat and our food. But the main reason why I would like come back is for Hanna. She provided us with excellent customer service. As she realised me and my friend ordered a platter each she located us to a bigger table so we good make space and enjoy our food. Also when she saw that we did not finish our food and it was alot food that was gonna go on waste she help us take away our food and coz of her service we kindly gave our to food to the homeless person. This really brighted up our day. Thanks to Hanna.

T. T.Another Nando's, another great restaurant with all the quality, flavour, and spice you expect. A short wait on a Friday evening made this a great choice, especially when Wahaca was almost twice the wait time.

H. T.This is on the Trafalgar square side of Covent Garden slightly away from the main piazza. It has a smaller upstairs bar area with the main restaurant in the basement level. We were there early evening so it wasn't too busy. The food was the usual high standard you expect from Nando's and good service. Would recommend and visit again.

D. P.Enjoyed my my dinner at Nando’s with family, the food is superb and i like the variety of delicious sauces. I love the super hot ones and also lemon 🍋& herb 🌿 is great! They all can be pretty addictive! Other than chicken pitta, piri-piri rice, olives and grilled halloumi are my fav. Can never go wrong with lemonade. One of my fav restaurant to go to. One star less because the quality of grilled chicken is never consistent and much depends on who is cooking it or how busy/rushed they are rather than any set standards. Due to which I have been disappointed a few times.

It's a great place to eat however because we came during a lunch hour the waiting time for a bit long and we did have to wait a while for a food but otherwise I would say the service was exceptional as usual and it was a great experience overall.

A. C.I used to dine here on an almost weekly basis when i lived and worked in London. Their roast chicken is sublime and the chips taste amazing too. This particular branch is very nice and clean, the staff are fantastic, including the manager (whose name unfortunately I can’t remember), and the location is great. It does get busy at lunchtimes and evenings, but its worth the wait!!

C. B.Nandos is one of my favorite chain restaurants and it is always a treat to come back here. This restaurant is nicely located at Covent garden and is spread over two levels. Usually crowded so suggest to book in advance if you are in a large group. The staff is very friendly even though they seem very busy. The napkins, sauces and other items are conveniently located in all areas and the taste..ahh...as always fabulous. Thank you !

R. E.I went with my family of 5 on 29th December, for a meal and can total recommend it. I am a fussy eater but the food is great for what you pay and plenty of it and a nice veggie option or two. If you want fine dining and tranquil music, then perhaps you need to book somewhere else and be prepared to pay mega bucks! The staff are ultra efficient and the manager went out of his way to make us feel special. I will definitely go back when I am next in London.

T. C.We went for a late lunch and it wasn't very crowded around 2 pm. The food in this location was average. The chips were too soft as though someone was trying to get food out to customers too quickly. My corn was a cooked a bit too long so it was bit too dry. The chicken wings and thighs was cooked well and was flavorful.
There are other Nandos locations where the food is cooked with proper attention so everything tastes good. Unfortunately at this location, the sides weren't cooked very well.
J. T.Had to wait 40 minutes for a table. When we were eventually seated, we noticed there were at least a handful of tables available so we didn't understand why we had to wait so long. There was only one staff member taking orders at the till so a long queue had formed behind me as I waited to place our order. The staff who were working were nice but there clearly wasn't enough staff to look after the number of customers. Food was good though
J.- Very busy and long waiting time. Had to wait 30 minutes just to get seated. Got the menu after another 5 minutes and my order also another 30. Reasonable since it was crowded.

P.When i was came in UK, i was eat first dinner this here. I can say first impression for me. I love it. Actually i don’t like fast food but Nando’s Chiswick very nice place. Friendly and helpful staff. Cheap and delicious menu. Old but first love.

s. s.Got in at the peak of lunch time but the wait wasn't bad. Have seating on both top and ground floor. Our food came out relatively quickly considering it.was peak time, less than 15 minutes wait. The staff were polite and helpful when approached. As usual a unique selection of music to listen to whilst you eat.

It's all about chicken BUT
1. You will have fresh wait while prepare food.
2. You have the options to try the size you want and also whether you want it bone on or off.
3. The optional sides are really special. You can mix and match.
4. The marination and sauces choices are incredible. Not only variable but also very tasty.
5. Suitably priced.
6. Consistent across the UK.

J. L.The food was absolutely amazing! 110% happy in that regard. Just some weird glitch in their system happened which resulted in the order not been send to the kitchen nor found in system.all we had to show for it was the money deducted from our account. Seems like no Biggie, just the at first you wait half an hour before you notice no food is coming. Another 15 minutes where they are searching for your order, another 15 minutes of nando's wrapping their heads around it. After which they finally decide they couldn't figure it out, but to make our order regardless. I'm a hungry chicken craving lady :'( My patience is slim ;)))))
So that time not the greatest experience, but who am I kidding! I still love nando's!!! The music, the chicken, the sides, the chicken, the refills and the chicken. Man I wish there was nando's in the Netherlands.

C. W.Listen, this place is very popular and a lot of people say it is a must try but I just don't see why. I didn't hate the food but most of their options are quite spicy so if you don't like that style of food then I wouldn't recommend. My steak wrap was good, and overall it is a cute place with a Pueblo feel too it. I would say if you have time then stop in and try it as I hate to tell people no, but go in with some tampered expectations.

W. B.Perfectly good Nando's much like any other Nando's. Just off the main street so might not be quite so busy. Remember that like other Nando's restaurants you have to go up to the tills to order, and you have to go up to the service area yourself to get cutlery, napkins, sauces etc. Remember to make a note of your table number, and for pretty much *every* dish you order, you will need to specify which hotness you want. Staff also very good and welcoming. They tend to let people sit upstairs of you ask but don't offer the seats otherwise.

No matter how many of us we are – 2 or 15, we are always seated in time and receive a great service, as the staff is so friendly, regardless of how busy they may be! There is a person up there managing the queue and explaining what was going on and we didn't have to wait long, maybe 10 minutes. But we were sitting on couches reading a menu while in the waiting area.
The restaurant area is in the basement. It had a cosy feel. Food was alright. Lost a point because the menu was deceiving. Two of us were tricked as we thought we were ordering a wrap but we got a bowl of stuff on rice. Also the chips just aren't as good as the nandos back home in Australia for some reason.
Self serve drink refills including ice, and free toilets downstairs. Loads of self serve sauces available.

D. B.Decent food but we ordered via the mobile app and found that some of our order wasn't there when we went to collect. The staff were adamant that we didn't order some of the sides we claimed we had. They showed us kitchen tickets where the items weren't listed.
After popping upstairs to get a signal in order to retrieve the receipt on the app, we found that we had indeed order (and been charged for) the sides. When we showed this to the counter staff they arranged some sides to be made up quickly. I'm sure it was just some technical issue but had we not been persistent we'd have been overcharged and underfed.
I'd go back, but I wouldn't order using the app in the future and I'd check my receipt every time.

There is a very wide selection of seating here - thought it should be noted that most of it is in the basement, and therefore not accessible to those with wheelchairs or baby buggies. They even, very considerately, have tables for one up on the ground floor!
In the basement, there are large booths that make for surprisingly intimate parties, or tables out in the slightly more raucous main dining area. The service is speedy and efficient, the food standard Nando's fare, and the staff keep it clean and well ordered. For a reliably tasty meal, without having to fork out Covent Garden prices, it's hard to beat.

Z. D.A really good Nandos! An excellent location and The interiors are very distinctive, with little caverns off the main restaurant for groups. If you've never been to Nandos before it's great because you pay before you eat which avoids sorting a bill between a group at the end. It tends to attract a younger crowd and the food is consistent with any other Nandos in being fast, spicy and always tasty. It's a little pricey for what it is but makes up for it with the loyalty card. The wait staff are great, and despite one or two blips/mistakes when I've been there, it's usually pretty good for big groups or smaller ones.

It doesn't taste typical Nando's for us. I am an addict of Nando's and Hope taste to be standardized in all locations. P.S. they can request unsatisfied customers feedback (they can say to customers at the order/payment desk if you are not happy please give us a two minutes feedback) who dine in and discuss it with the head of staff or the manager on site for a quicker action if possible.

A. S.If you're hungry in central London, on a budget or have kids in tow, you could do a lot worse than this branch of Nando's. On a Saturday evening we had to wait about fifteen minutes for a table, but we had (very reasonably-priced) drinks while we waited to soften the blow.
The food itself was fine and very good value - £10 a head gets you pretty good peri-peri chicken with some nice sides. You collect it from the counter and soft drinks are refilled yourself, which no doubt cuts down on costs. Service was extremely efficient but could have been a bit friendlier. Also they were desperate to take my plate before I'd finished eating, which was irritating. Overall it's a fine place to eat, but with Wahaca next door, it wouldn't be my first choice in this part of town.

A. J.For many, Nandos is a poor-man's 'real restaurant', but frankly it depends on your point of view. If like me you were born in England's most dangerous borough, it's the rich-man's KFC, although there's no batter involved (although you might get battered in Lewisham's KFC if you step out of line, but that's not the same thing is it now?). Moving swiftly on... this is a Nandos like any other. Which is to say it's a decent place to grab a quick bite to eat. Snobs complain that you have to order at the counter and get your own cutlery, but that's why it remains both cheap and quick. Feel free to eat elsewhere and pay more if you can't handle it.
Food came in under 10 minutes, was very tasty, and service was with a smile. This was a little busier than most branches due to location, so we waited a bit for a table, but we were offered drinks and service was friendly. It only costs about £13 for a massive meal with drinks, so it's popular with the yout' dem, but adults can also attend without shame. I will say that they did seem a bit eager to clear our plates away - whether this was efficiency or just 'let's pack em in as fast as we can by herding em out' is hard to say, but that was the only glitch.
If you haven't been to Nandos before (maybe you're a racist?) they serve chicken. You can have it in a roll, a wrap, on the bone, wings etc... but it's all chicken. There's some passable veggie options and also a steak thingy which I suspect is probably not actually real - I've never seen one in the wild although it is on the menu. Sides are chips, rice, garlic bread, corn etc... It's simple and easy and there's loads of sauces of differing spices for every palate.
I love Nandos, and I loved this one. Also they had a Dyson Airblade in the toilet, the connoisseurs hand-dryer of choice. I left both full and dry-handed. What more could someone want from a restaurant? Probably quite a bit but frankly if a place does chicken with lots of hot sauce then I'm not going to complain. As Arnie would say 'How are we going to deal with California's massive budget deficit?'. I joke I joke.... he'd actually say 'I'll be back!'.
M. B.Nandos, expensive yet delicious chicken. I wasn't expecting much from this chain (I saw plenty of them on my trip up to London) but I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is mostly self-serve like Burger King, but dresses itself like a sit down restaurant. You will most likely enjoy the spicy Portuguese twist on chicken and condiments, but the final price might leave you with an empty stomach.
N.Same formula as every other Nando’s. This one a little odd as we arrived and it seemed about half empty but were made to wait about 15 before being seated in a table that was vacant when we arrived. It did not get much busier throughout so a little annoying.

N.Can't go too far wrong with Nandos. Attentive staff and good food. Value for money is a little iffy but it's expected.
