Tried Nando’s for the first time. It has vegetarian options. The Burger overall was good, but could have been better if the burger buns we more moist. The burger buns seemed a bit dry to eat.

I visited this branch the other day and I received outstanding service from 3 of your workers. It was my first time coming to nandos and they gave me a warm welcome and made me feel at ease. Good when you get the decent chef's on shift or when it's less busier. Peak hours usually means rushed food, usually tough chicken & cold chips. I've noticed the children's potion of chips has become so small you can count the chips. I made a complaint about that & was given a side of chips at no extra charge. Most of the staff are quite attentive but some could do with some further training... Could be cleaner especially the windows which were filthy like they haven't been cleaned in months

Nice cost place. Fairly small downstairs area and upstairs was closed when we visited on a Thursday evening. Friendly efficient service, tables felt a bit crammed in, there was certainly no social distancing between tables so I wouldn't advise going if this is an issue for you.

Standard Nandos really. Ordered usual 1/2 chicken + 2 sides. The spiced grains and butternut squash side was delicious. I also ordered corn on the cob as a side and requested it plain but it came out with sauce - the team changed it promptly.

Opposite the new wimbledon theatre, a great place for a cheeky piri-piri chicken and chips. A new contactless ordering system was in place at the time of my visit (November 2021) - scam the QR code at your table, then place your order and pay via the web page that comes up on your phone. Food arrived very quickly.

Perhaps my least favorite Nando’s experience, but also my only dine in experience since they resumed dine in service during covid times. I walked up to the restaurant, walked inside and asked for a table, and the hostess told me “Go outside and scan the code”. I asked her “Where is the code?” And she replied “Outside. Scan with your phone and we will text you to come in”. Sure enough, I walked outside, and from the direction that I didn’t approach there was a large sign with a QR code that gave some instructions about indoor dining. So, I scanned, filled out my details, and was told I was number one in the virtual queue. I paced up and down the street for a few times, then got notified about 12-15 mins later that my table was ready. I walked back inside, gave my name, and the other host (male) motioned for me to walk upstairs. He was moderately more helpful, as he explained the new ordering process and changed post covid. Butterfly chicken was okay. Not excellent, not hot, not amazing and worthy of a queue, but just okay. The chips were definitely not as good as I remember. Maybe Nando’s just used to be better when it was a novel concept to me, or maybe they just haven’t fully adapted to their new self-imposed changes yet. In any case, I will stick with takeaway only, or non-chains, for a while.

Always come here for a birthday meal. I've never had a bad experience here. Staff are always polite, even when the restaurant is full. Very spacious. Food has always been up to standard although I'd like more chips in a portion. 😂 😂 😂 This particular Nandos has never supplied me and my family with a bad experience. I will continue to come here for birthday meals.

Great place to get delicious quick and hot food. My partner and I go here a lot, we always know the food is going to be consistently good and value for money. Only downsides are the service (it's a little inconsistent, when food is forgotten/missing drinks, there's not much of an apology), also veggie sides: disappointingly bland and undercooked, (especially the broccoli). That said, we regularly go here, and would give it five stars if not for the little niggles above. Thank you Wimbledon Nando's team!

Just wanted to make a comment from my visit tonight. It definitely wasn't an ideal visit, something had definitely gone wrong and there's no sugar coating that. However the despite whatever the issue was, the staff were working their absolute hardest to rectify the mistake. It was obviously an incredibly difficult night and I would rather never have my food on time for the rest of my life than to see staff put through something like that again. Unfortunately I did have to cancel my order after a 45 minute wait since I had a show to attend with less than 15 minutes till the start- my order apparently hadn't been processed when I asked where mine was when my partner had his food arrive awhile before. However the manager was very apologetic, kind and upon discussion said it could be made ready for me to take home if I stopped by afterwards- which I did. I have to commend the staff working tonight on their dedication and incredibly hard work. Absolutely nobody was rude despite obviously being stressed and probably getting quite upset- but they were taking complaints head on when they didn't deserve those attitudes I saw from other customers. I understand frustration, but anger only makes it more difficult when trying to get a situation under control. Shout out especially to Octavia who went way beyond in her duties at trying to keep things calm when all hell had apparently broken loose. She deserves a bonus or a long holiday or something, a real credit to the company. Perhaps nobody will read this, but the staff here obviously care deeply about their work and trying to give their all to a customer. I hope to visit again soon when I'm sure there will be no issues with things arriving late- because I'm sitting on my train home right now and this food is delicious!!

Long wait to get a table, thanks to 'Eat out to help out' but at least we were warned, and in fact the wait was less than forecast, probably because others ahead of us didn't take their allocated time slots. A GOOD PLACE LET DOWN BY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Apart from tables that were slightly too close together for privacy, the layout and cleanliness of this restaurant was good. The food was served quickly, was well presented and of reasonable quality. The major let down was the lack of customer service skills demonstrated by the largely disinterested young ladies walking the floor. There was no acknowledgement upon arrival, the lady who showed my to my table didn't even speak, just pointing at a table. There is no table service but they assume you know how their system works. I didn't. The supervisor who took our money was much better and she even enquired how are meal was at the end of our session.

Typical Nando's. Good consistent food, typical prices, friendly staff and nicely maintained premises. Myself and colleagues come here once a month for lunch. Update 3/11/2017 - one of my colleagues found a tiny spider in his food. Staff replaced the dish with a fresh dish, with no fuss and very quickly. 10/10 for service for putting things right when something goes wrong!

I've been here a few times. A place for the chicken lovers! Always very satisfied with the food quality. Have you tried the Portuguese beer they sell? YOU SHOULD! During busy hours you may need to wait long until you get a table (but that's normal in any restaurant, if you just pop in). I like the seats upstairs next to the window!

This Nando's is probably the best in terms of location. They have seating upstairs as well and the view is nice, especially if it is a quiet weekend afternoon. That's when I visited. The staff was friendly and food was delicious as usual!

Tonight I had the QUICKEST Nando's I have ever had. Patrick the waiter got us seated straight away. He was extremely polite and flexible. I also had some very nice chicken. Recommendation: Get a double chicken burger and garlic bread to make two single burgers if you want to save some cash.

There's a 50/50 chance you'll find a queue at the door, but it's probably worth it. I've never had a cheeky Nandos that didn't satisfy. Perfect for the seasoned veterans of Nandos and newcomers alike, it's hard to be disappointed by their food. I'll vouch for their butterfly chicken. Oh, and the heat levels don't reflect too much. Their 'hottest' spice level isn't anywhere close to the spiciness of even a madras, if that puts it into perspective. If you're going in expecting spice... well, don't. But it's still very tasty.

Nando’s is simply brilliant , the food, the atmosphere and the system. I frequent the wimbledon establishment and enjoy it greatly. I go with my mates and we do have a “cheeky nandoes”. The menu is exciting , letting you choose from a wide variety of different cuts of chicken and also the sauces you’d like to accompany it. some take it as a challenge others take it as a warning. It’s both fun and tasty. They have bottomless refills, much like fast food restaurants, and whilst the food is indeed fast it is unlike other fast food restaurants. At this Wimbledon branch the food and service is excellent, always extremely satisfied here

Celebrated my 30th Bday there with a few friends and my partner, after having a fab weekend in Amsterdam. Asked for a table to be reserved but they said they couldnt as it was very busy!!? (tuesday night at 8/9pm) so anyway got there my friends turned up and it was half empty, food is always spot on but they apparently they dont give out STRAWS now... however i told them i have sensitive teeth so they gave me one but this shouldnt be the case.

PROs + lovely chicken dishes + spicy salt powder on the fresh chips are brilliant + wide range or mild, medium, hot, extra hot, insane and silly billy spicy sauces + very good value + quick no-nonsense service + free still water + you can collect points which will give you a free chicken (every 7 visits anywhere) + friendly and efficient staff and service + lots of smaller (vegetarian) side dishes + high level of consistency and well cooked chicken + hot and juicy corn of the cob with salted butter is just a beautiful and delicious invention CONs - not quite as good value as Vapiano - not the best for vegetarians - not available in other European capital cities
