Reviews of Noodle Time
I. C.
If you want chinese comfort food with efficient service and generous portions, this is the place. Quite a few vegetarian and vegan options. The prices are reasonable too for the very touristy greenwich area!
E. L.
I consider this place not as a fine dining but their foods as equally tasty as $$ restaurants. But it only serves every day Chinese meals. Simple but tasty, perhaps for University students.
We were lucky we had a younger waiter. The older one acted stiff. We will come back when we crave for quick Chinese meals at any day.

Excellent service with yummy food served.
Big portion. Dim sum is excellent, especially the prawn dumplings.
Good hygiene.

Best Chinese I've had in London!
This was the best Chinese meal I've had yet in London. Delicious piping hot food. The best tofu I've had for a long time. Great size portions which you can takeaway afterwards. Fast service time. Very lovely, friendly, accomodating staff. Really good value for money. Very happy with this experience and would definitely recommend!
F. R.
It was very nice. Defo recommend the sweetcorn and noodle soup and the dim sum. If your gonna get the crispy duck then, unless ur really hungry, share it between 2
J. C.
Pretty good food. Ate here with my dad. Expecting more in my chicken noodle soup but overall very nice flavours.

Hard to find Chinese food this good and halal at the same time. Customer service was amazing, very cheap for their large portion sizes.
Would highly recommend.

Amazing food. Very big portions of food and it’s not even expensive. Tastes amazing full of flavours and staffs are very friendly . Totally worth the money.

This a surprisingly good noodle chinise restaurant. Prices are very friendly and amount of food I get for it is substantial. Service was actually good, but don't exceptional, as its mostly all about filling your stomach with great tasting Asian food. Place has long menu that is mostly consists of the same staff - just with different types of noodles,so don't get confused.

The food is cheap, fresh, simple and comes in a big portion. The restaurant is colourful and bright that will cheer you up. For the Greenwich students this place get crowded. The amazing part is that this restaurant is halal, what is quite unusual for a Chinese restaurant. After seating there the staffs will approach to you and this service is totally free. Without few items, the menu ranges from £2.50 to £6. The portions are enormous, so for us as a couple one starter and one main is more than enough. I am having their food from 2008 to till now and it is always good. The true fact is that for this fair price you can not expect anything better than this.

Service is super fast and the best Chinese dishes ever. I love all the menu but the favorite is number 54. Also prices are super cheap when compared to other places. LOVE IT!!

Always reliable, been visiting here for 25 years, its not cordon bleu, but I enhoy it.

The staff are super friendly & the food was excellent, will defo be going back to eat again soon

A fantastic chinese restaurant in Greenwich. I am amazed by the size of their portions and very reasonable prices. Mixed vermicelli noodles was very rice and quantity is overwhelming. The food is delicious too. Average waiting time once you ordered the food is less than 10 minutes. Lots of seating places available inside. Washroom is reasonably clean. I would recommend this place to any Chinese food lover. Thanks.

It's such value , the staff are calm and the foods great

Food was great, reasonably priced with good portions. Owner wants to sort the toilets out though. Urinal blocked, hadn't flushed for ages and generally a bit run down. Would have given 5 star but for that.
L. G.
BBQ Pork Buns were good, the rest was okay

It's been a while since I've been here and I won't leave it so long next time. Fresh, hot food and big portions and not that different in price to my local takeaway. Well worth a visit.

It was my favorite place in London but nowadays there is a man there maybe owner maybe waitres his totally rude and the problem is lack of service
E. S.
Yesterday was the first time we visited this restaurant. But It is no doubt not the last time. We passed a splendid evening with the good service, with the magnificent dishes and wine and with the friendly pay. We will absolutely come back soon.
J. L.
Super cheap. Actually very good and authentic (except for one or two dishes that weren't good). Very impressed by the Noodle dishes here but I won't praise the bubble tea.

Generous portions. Good taste and varied seafood types in the seafood dish. 👍👍 for the noodles wall!
D. L.
Lovely food, lovely staff, good prices. Had a really great night out here with my family. Will definitely be back
J. B.
This place is a hidden gem. Brilliant food that's of excellent quality served quickly by very attentive staff. A quirky meal choice in the middle of Greenwich which is well with trying.
L. Y.
Had some very tasty Dim sum....good customer service and reasonably priced. We definitely return.
C. J.
Loved it!

This place is great. Tasty food, nice big portions & good price. Really great place & I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Amazing!

Nice food every time you visit. Been visiting this place for the last 15 years and never felt bored of the food . Nice full plate of food served here for a reasonable priced menu.👍

BBQ Pork Buns were good, the rest was okay

Nice place, good location, friendly staff and all looks clean and well-maintained.
Prices are very reasonable and food was delicious and arrived quickly, even with my fussiness of asking for no vegetables and was a big portion.
The only negative from my point of view was that the food wasn't at the temperature I would have liked, being just 'warmish' instead of 'hot'.
However, they were very busy, these things can happen to anybody occasionally and it was warm enough so I'm still giving them 4 stars and will eat there again at some point soon.

Been coming here for years. Cheap and cheerful Chinese. Not gourmet food, but if you like English Chinese food (sweet and sour chicken, char siu etc) then it's great. The actual building is a bit shabby so not really a posh dinner or date spot, but I've only ever received good and polite service, even when I dine alone. I always get the Chinese tea, £1.10 for a lovely pot of Jasmine tea. Can't go wrong.
S. L.
Tasty. Had dim sum and noodles. They also done me a vegetarian version of the hot and sour soup. Friendly staff.
T. P.
Literally love this place! When I got the offer from the University of Greenwich, me and my boyfriend went to explore the area a bit. This was the first place where we decided to go and I'm very glad we choose as I've never had a bad meal here. The portions are extremely huge, the prices are reasonable, the taste is really good and the staff is also very friendly. We are regular customers since then and I would go nowhere else for a good noodle but there in Greenwich.
J. 0.
Good service and surprisingly good food. Not overly dear considering it's in the middle of Greenwich ..
G. K.
Very tasty, good price, quick service. We ordered the lemon chicken and the seafood in Oyster sauce. Both very impressed. You can find better food elsewhere if you're looking for something special, but for a quick, cheap meal, this felt worth much more than we paid and was a completely painless experience. Having gone to Chinatown on our last outing and sheet repeatedly where our food was before eventually giving up, noodle time is infinitely better.
D. M.
Love this place. Cheap and tasty with a mix Westernised Chinese food on the menu. (Recommend the Singapore Vermicelli) friendly & attentive staff.
J. M.
Always super here. Generous portions, including the ingredients added to noodles. We tried udon soup, dry noodles with pork, dry with king prawn, and rice with king prawn. All delicious. Drinks list small but some interesting freshly made juices on offer. Wine and beer both available. Service polite and quite speedy. Prices very reasonable especially for a cultural hub like Greenwich. Been here a few times over the years, and will keep coming.
B.
Hottest day of the year with seemingly no air con and we had to ask for water three times, the side didn't come until the main was almost finished, however the veggie options tasted pretty good, particularly the veggie dumplings, they can come again.
A. L.
Good food at low prices for the Greenwich Market area, the staff is friendly and the customer service is exceptional. The place itself doesn't look like much at first glance but it compensates with the quality of the food and the service.
T. B.
We called here for a late lunch whilst visiting Greenwich for the day. It's quite a busy place but with plenty of tables. The food was really tasty, offering a mixture of noodle based dishes and more traditional Chinese dishes. Everything reasonably priced.
The service was okay. When we were seated a member of staff placed some paper on the table but didn't give any explanation that they wanted us to write our order down. The food definitely made the experience though and I'd definitely visit again!
B. R.
The staff were nice and their chicken curry was good, but the noodle soup and dim sum wrapping tasted a bit watery. Not much flavour to them, other than the pork inside the dim sum. The soup and curry had large portions, though! However, the dim sum balls were smaller than expected.
E.
Not sure overall what I made of this place.. We didn't receive our drinks without chasing around for them, nor was the service or food outstanding.. But price wise, ability to be left to chat without interruptions and the food being tasty, I would say try it if you like Noodles. Personally I had the beef curry, that was alright and the platter of seafood my cousin had was alright too.
M.
I am incredibly happy to come here to eat every single time. It is one of the best restaurant I know in the whole borough. Gosh! I can't stress how satisfied I am with the restaurant. All the staffs are nice and friendly. The food is worth the price, very generous amount of food with the price. Very kind people! When it comes to 'noodle' time I will always go to Noodle time restaurant.
A. A.
There's nothing fancy about this restaurant, its decor & service is no-frills but the food really is superb value for money. Fantastic quality, authentic food at bargain prices. Fresh, nutritious and very tasty, with generous portions.
I used to be a regular in my 20s before I moved away. Now in my mid 30s I have returned to find Noodle Time's food every bit as good as I remember. Introduced my mum who looks like she will become a regular herself - we have been back several times together in just a few weeks. Perfect place to eat before the cinema and numerous pubs nearby.
S. J.
Great - open for eating in, and taking hygiene and social distancing precautions very seriously, but still managed to make me feel welcome. Food was great, and arrived promptly. Recommend it highly.

A very unique decorated restaurant with different noodles on the wall, menu on the tables. Portion sizes are generous and the flavor combinations work well. Foods served pretty quick. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms are clean and under well management. I even saw a sticker of five star hygiene certificate on the window outside which is surprise to find in this town. We were lucky placed on a table by the window so we can enjoyed the view of road outside while having the meals. Very satisfied with everything here in a lovely sunny May day. Love it!
A.
I ate the best noodle I have had in a long time from noodle time. Unfortunately, I don't live in London but I will definitely come back.
N. S.
I've lived in Greenwich most of my life and one place we used to go often (as a teenager and a University student) was Noodle time. Now.. I wouldn't say the food is the highest of standards - the very fast service and quality of food compliment eachother (quick reheated food can only come out that fast!), but you get what you pay for, and that price tag isn't bad at all. The taste? For a western palette it's your typical Chinese restaurant that serves up known favourites expectedly.
What I will say, and the reason for 4 stars is that you get a lot for what you pay for. Very big portions and quick service consistently each time I've visited. I also like it for the nostalgia it brings me when I go back.
M. W.
Noodle time is a local favorite serving an assortment of noddle and rice dishes, available as both take-away or to sit in. Food is served in a timely manor, making this a perfect place to grab a quick bite to eat. The dishes are all well priced, super cheap and the serving size is large; you won’t go hungry! The menus are built into the tables, and you just write the number of the corresponding dishes you want, including starters and drinks. There is also an additional drinks/deserts menu with even more options. Good amount of seating, and toilets available downstairs. Both the noodles and the rice are good options; the sweet and sour is a popular dish I’d recommend. You’ll sometimes get free prawn crackers, but if not just ask! Whilst Noodle Time can get busy at certain peak times, it is often quiet in an evening and a sort of hidden little gem for some cheap food. Always lots of staff about to help serve you quickly, or to top up your drink. They do accept American Express. Don’t forget to pick up a mint on the way out, and to drop a tip in the tips jar. Highly recommended.

Pro - food was very good. Our group had a variety of dishes and all were hot and tasty. Service was timely but unusual from my experpience. A slip with all the menu items is placed on your table and you fill it out. A server comes and collects it.
Con - restrooms not the best. Decore well under 5*.
I would eat here again if in the area and I feel like noodles. I wouldn't, however, travel much distance to get here.
J. R.
Lovely food great service friendly staff will eat there again soon
E. B.
Best price. Quality food, very heavy portions, probably two peoples can eat one plate. service is very quick but you will see the staff is always busy and serve item in different times.
L. D.
The place is good for big portion noodle rice dishes. I was very disappointed with the dim sum selection as it wasn't the normal dim sum I'm use to. It was over priced for what it was worth. The chicken feet in black bean sauce just felt like someone had eaten some on the way down to us.
The staff behind the bar kept talking and when we tried to get Thier attention wasnt fast.
I would recommend of you want Thier fried dishes but not Thier dim sum dishes. Shame really.
The sesame prawn toast was tasty and same goes for mixed meat fried ho fun was good.
V. S.
Overall dishes have big portions for the price and they have a good variety but expect the quality and taste to be below average.
From the 3 noddle dishes we ordered each of them was either tasteless, too salty or just not tasty at all.
The dough of the dumplings was to thick and the service very rudimentary.
Don't expect a great experience and I would recommend to chose somewhere else to go.
T. R.
Located at Greenwich, Noodle Time offers great food in terms of flavour and quality, and the service is very efficient. However, I feel the dumplings are less in quantity in relation to the price.
Highly recommend if you are going with friends or in a large group.
H. k.
Good food confirmed by the long queue of people.
E. M.
Recommend this place for value for money.Huge portions, you might better ask one dish for two people if you are a poor eater. Great price and quick delivery. some times if you are on a group and order dishes together, the plated come to your table on different times, leaving few people eating few not.
G. M.
Excellent service and delicious food!!
S. F.
Really quaint restaurant with quite delicious food with a wide range of selection. Staff are really friendly and helpful and the prices are average. All the food was cooked fresh and dumpling are made just at the entrance of the shop. Takeaway is available too.
C. S.
Medium quality for a cheap meal. Big portions and fast service.
S. P.
I'm going there from time to time. They have really good lemon chicken with noodles and king prawns soup. It's not very expensive and really good taste. I can also recommend this for fast dinner instead of McDonald's or something like this. I'm always waiting only 10-15 minutes for all meals witch I order
R. N.
I have been visiting Noodle Time for over 10 years now and still to today they provide an unbeatable service.
The menu is printed onto the table separately for each person so ordering is easy and without hassle.
The food is extremely cheap, the portion size wont leave you hungry afterwards and the wait time for food is minimal (5-10 minutes at the most). The menu is printed onto the table separately for each person so ordering is easy.
I would recommend Noodle Time
F. L.
Hmm. I mean, I come here sometimes. Mostly because the portion sizes are massive and it's cheap. But it also comes out disturbingly fast, and the service is pretty robotic. It's good for what it is: cheap and filling Chinese food. Don't expect too quality meals though.
A. S.
Have been to this place like 20 times in last 8 years. The food is good but service is slow to bad now.
It used to be modestly priced but now is at par with other eat outs.
Still a decent place to eat specially if you like Chinese food.
A. C.
Cheap and cheerful! Noodle Time has survived a long time in Greenwich and is a regular haunt whenever i'm there. Huge portion sizes and really good for groups. The place can seem a bit run down, and at times the staff aren't the most attentive if you need more drinks, etc.
N. F.
Nice place good food reasonable price
C. C.
Lovely food and friendly staff. I can't give 5 stars however, as the toilets are way down underground so is therefore non-accessible for those with mobility issues.
M. F.
Cozy place. I was with some friends to eat out. Staff was really nice. Top service. Food was really nice. I enjoyed my time there. I recommend the place.
N. M.
Simple, no frills restaurant. Very relaxed atmosphere. The food is reasonably priced, delicious and with generous portions!
P. W.
Excellent value for money. Very good quality food and massive portion sizes on all noodle dishes. Friendly Staff. Highly Recommended.
A. T.
6 years ago we randomly walked in. Today found it again! Quality didn't change. Food was super tasty. The portions are enormous, so be prepared to eat a lot. We shared one plate with two of us.
C. R.
I have always been a fan of the Singapore vermicelli in Noodle time but unfortunately seems the new chef is not hitting the spot. Too spicy, the noodles too wet for a dry dish, too much fish sauce not really tasty, didn't even finish it, not the tasty dish it has always been. Very disappointed. Please revalue the way the food is being cooked, Make me a fan again!
J. P.
Great food!!! Quite a huge serving for any order and very tasty.. Best part, its very cheap and offers free drinks if you have a student id!! :)
B.
Massive portions for a decent price!
Oh how I love this place! I stray from my local turf, 40 minutes away by DLR to visit here on some occasions and haven't been let down yet!
The menu is clear and the food comes pretty quick. It's good quality too. Having been to China a few times I can tell you that the food is pretty authentic (i.e. not JUST made for a western audience) and so has some truly great flavours if not the range of a restaurant in China.
If you happen to find yourself hungry in Greenwich, I'd definitely recommend it!
R. F.
Food delicious, staff very friendly and attentive
T. A.
Pretty much my favourite place to eat during 3 years of University. Massive portions and generally great tasting food. Though the prices have gone up quite a bit since I first went there, would still happily go back when I'm in the area!
J. M.
Food tastes good, prices very reasonable, potions large, no frills no tacky decorations.
R. O.
Great value for money!
I don't understand the other comments but I've been here on a Sunday evening when it was quiet and I had big portions of good quality food, served quickly for a great price, obviously it's not a fancy restaurant but for this price I'll definitely come back! 👍
J. J.
Went for lunch. Nephew loved noodles. My prawns under special were ok
L. E.
Great place for great food at a fair price. Also takes Credit Cards which their nearby competition didn't the last time I went. Only faults I could make would be plastic plates... Why??? And some tardiness is servicing drinks.
R. B.
Food is always excellent here and the portions are great for what you pay. Staff are very attentive too. Always stop by here when in Greenwich.
