Wow where to start! They are so accommodating as I made a booking for 3 and we were 4 in the end and the host fix it for us. The waitress was so lovely and was so knowledgeable about the menu and the food and thanks for the wine. The food looks great and taste amazing as well don’t let the small plates fool you, so fresh! The hake was cook perfectly. Thanks you again for a lovely evening.

Delicious healthy meals bursting with flavour. Lots of vegetarian options with dishes including nuts, root veg, seeds and grains, leafy veg. Simply excellent service and cuisine. Cookbooks of some of the dishes available for sale or viewing. Lucky to meet Restaurant owner who happened to drop by which made our evening even more special. Some favourites were: Roasted Aubergine, Lamb Rump, Fried Mushrooms, Roasted beetroot and Pineapple Sorbet served with Calvados (sweet spiced rum). Highly Recommended. Wish I got the name of our lovely, well informed waitress but we will be back !
Thank you for a memorable experience!

The food was the best part about the experience. The waitresses were lacking and really didn’t do a good job. Asked if we’re here for special occasion and I told it’s my birthday and woman said ‘thanks for sharing this information’ I mean what? I would’ve expected happy birthday even if you don’t mean it or whatever.
Service was very rushed, no comments made, no questions about the food asked, plates placed, picked up, water poured without comment or anything just come up from behind and walk away.
Food was delicious though and well done to the chef.
Due to service I don’t think we’ll come back - it seemed like they wanted us out of there as quick as possible. Couple next to us asked for dessert menu and they brought them a bill, they weren’t happy about that. It wasn’t a complete experience and walked away thinking food was good but overall experience ‘OK’ hence 3 stars.

After cooking through much of Ottolenghi Simple, it was pure delight to eat in one of his restaurants! It was nice to compare the food I cooked with the flavors and textures of the dishes we shared at dinner.
The staff were on point and I was provided a lactose free menu after including a note in my dinner reservation. The cocktails were fantastic and all the shared plates were delightful.
Definitely book ahead for a table in the evening. And you definitely need to visit the bathrooms on the lower level if nothing else than to get a look at the open kitchen on your way there.

Delicious food. Really enjoyed the aubergine and tofu main, and the duck dish was pretty good. The midnight teacake dessert was nice, the roasted fig one lacked some flavour. Food was a little overpriced in my opinion but service was great and it’s a stylish restaurant- especially the mirror-covered bathrooms!
A. A.
Beautiful ambiance and comfortable setting. Good place to order a few starters, drinks and dessert but would suggest to order a few things off the menu and share. The polenta chips, roasted aubergine & apple and gelato dessert were our top favorites! The only downside - the restaurant is on the pricier side and the portions are small but given the location they can justify it.
S. T.
It’s good quality food and relaxed setting, but nothing mind blowing. The leeks were my favourite starter (we ordered aubergine, peppers and leeks) and the lamb is much better than the fish main dish. The fish had an interesting, creative twist where it was made into a pie like with thin crust.
O. H.
Delicious food that is well presented and full of flavour. Our waitress Hannah was very helpful and kind and put special chocolate writing in our dessert dishes to congratulate us on recent events! Lovely place.
M. S.
The best meal in London. Everything from start to finish was delicious. And vegetarian options are not an after thought. Cocktails were divine.
J. W.
Amazing food and a relaxed atmosphere. I would give 5 stars but it was a little weird towards the end after we had paid. Just as my friend was returning to leave with me, an older waitress was hurrying us to go. Think she realised her error in the moment but some tact and patience would have served the situation better. Apart from that, looking forward to dining again here soon.

I went for lunch with 3 friends. The ambience is nice and very chill. The food was great but I thought it was a bit over expensive given the portion sizes and overall taste. (The aubergine with labneh absolutely definitely exceeded expectations, the hake with corn is also very good)!
C. E.
Amazing food (any course), great cocktails, brilliant wine list and easily top 3 best desserts I've ever had. That honeycomb nearly killed me. Unbelievably good.
E. L.
Visited as a belated (due to lockdowns) 60th birthday meal for my mother.
The staff couldn’t have been friendlier and more attentive, the wine couldn’t have been colder, the flowers and setting couldn’t have been prettier. Even the bathroom warranted a picture!
Really fantastic food, we were luckily a party of 4 and therefore managed to try many of the dishes on offer. Surprising flavour combinations, displayed beautifully. I’d definitely recommend and would go back. We went for lunch before an outing at the Royal Academy, it was the perfect central London day.
G. C.
Perfect meal. Each dish had a perfect balance of flavor. The menu is comprised of smaller and larger plates. Great for sharing. The best things we had were the eggplant starter and chai dessert
W. W.
We had an excellent meal here, it’s just as fantastic as the sister restaurant Ottolenghi in Islington, but with plenty more space for individual sitting.
I particularly loved the roast chicken, but everything from the roast aubergine to beef and the okra side dish is excellent. Although the price is on the high side, I can’t fault the food. I would love to return for more!
E. S.
So fresh with lovely flavors. Went for lunch. Friendly staff, beautiful interiors
S. K.
Beautiful and delicious food. Amazing staff! Had a wonderful weekend time.
Don’t miss the midnight oil teacake. It’s absolutely scrumptious!
N. S.
Amazing food, good selection of cocktails and wine and great service. This is exactly what a restaurant should be. I'm an omnivore but the vegetarian dishes here are amazing and often better than the meat dishes. This time I had beef rendang which was absolutely delicious. But the butteehead lettuce with a yuzu dressing was the absolute star. The burrata with apricot and tomato was also incredible. Tasty and perfectly balanced food. Well worth it
J. S.
Ottolenghi - finally after cooking lots of recipes out of his cookbooks I came to the Nopi restaurant of Ottolenghi in London.
Make sure to book your table ahead- we booked last minute and still were lucky to have two places downstairs.
There are two big tables downstairs shared between maybe 15 people each. It’s a beautiful feeing as even if you would come alone you wouldn’t feel like that.
The service was great.
The food was awesome! You pay for the quality of the food and surely the name but it’s all worth it!
We also liked the cocktails!
We will be back…
A. A.
Excellent brunch. You can really taste the quality of the Food ingredients here. We ordered shakshuka, french toast, cheese with honey, and garlic mushrooms. Each item tasted so good!!!
The shakshuka came with bread and has a b B it of creaminess to it too. The french toast was really unique - not too sweet and had a little bit of sour taste too which was nice. The cheese was really good and the mushrooms were also really good. Finally service was great too All in all really recommend
S. M.
Fantastic food.... So tasty! Portion sizes were perfect.
E. S.
Don't let the functional interior influence your first thoughts. The food is fantastic and a great meal can be made by mixing starters. We had 6 dishes, none of them were a main, and left feeling very full.
The service was excellent and we ate at the bar. This gave us more contact with the staff who knew the composition of the dishes very well. Their recommendations also helped create a memorable meal.
Book ahead as we were lucky to get a table for two for lunch
I. M.
Food was delicious, increíble mix of flavors. Would suggest getting 4 plates to share between 2. Only reason why it’s four stars is because it’s a little pricey for the portion size and the staff does rush you out a bit. Otherwise, lovely experience and will definitely return
M. C.
Excellent food and service. Maybe a little bit pricey? Worthy!
S. T.
Trendy location, my favourite starter was t aubergines, mind blowing olive yogurt dressing. Octopus Sago Loo was a bit too much chill peppered.
C. M.
What a fantastic experience we had at NOPI 👌 Great food, excellent service and very attentive staff. We visited for lunch midweek and it was busy but they were very accommodating, in particular since we brought our 6 month infant along. A high chair was provided and the restaurant atmosphere was casual and relaxing. Well suited to us, and delicious!! Thank you all 😊
T. Y.
For those appreciate the small details. Great decor and friendly staff. We ordered a few smaller plates. Wasn't a fan of the dishes and flavour combos unfortunately
P. T.
Bright, buzzing vibrant happy restaurant with amazing food. A good combination of vegetarian and meat dishes bursting with familiar flavours. True Ottolenghi! You just want to order more and more. Friendly and caring staff managed to fit us in even though we arrived earlier than we were supposed to. A great selection of own brand flavoured beer was the biggest surprise. Must try. The man is a genius with food.
C. M.
I love all things Ottolenghi!
This restaurant is right up there with the best in London. Will be back again soon.
J. L.
Had the most amazing birthday dinner at Nopi. The food was exquisite, such fresh ingredients & really sumptuous flavour combinations. The staff were so friendly and we were seated downstairs overlooking the kitchen which was super. Can’t wait to return!
I. M.
Was one of the best experience and best lunch after such a long time. Amazing food and the staff is just beyond! we felt like rockstars! Well done and we will be back soon!
P. S.
All the food had very unique flavors and was very exquisite! I especially enjoyed the octopus and the cheesecake!
N. K.
We have always been a fan of Nopi. But today we were disappointed mainly by the portion of the food. The polenta chips have shrunken in size and number of chips per portion. There used to be 6 big chunky chips. While today there was 4 small chips. The portion of the main dish has also shrunken and just about slightly bigger portion than side dish. The chef did give us a complimentary side dish of roasted aubergine. Overall the taste is still good, but let down by portion size. Hope Nopi takes this on board.
R. B.
Dinner was interesting and inventive. We sat downstairs at the large sharing tables and had a great time. The cocktails are excellent
K. C.
Food was disappointing. Had such high expectations, but the food was a real let down and not good value. £36 for overcooked lamb rump, cold butternut quash with some tahini - dull. Location, ambience and service were all good, but we were here for the food which really let it down despite the hefty bill !
K. A.
The food and wine was decent, but overpriced, not my favourite. Liked the interiors and decor. The staff were in a hurry removing your plate before you finish.
J. S.
Fantastic food and cozy place. All the menus are very good. Quite pricey but getting great food experience - worth to pay if not too often.
Dessert highlight - Black tea chocolate ganache with whisky sauce!!! ❤️😋 Love it!!!
M. K.
Maybe it's not good to go to a restaurant with very high expectations. Everything we had was pretty good, but nothing blew us away. Even the desserts which should be easy to be delicious were also just pretty good. Also that fully mirrored funhouse bathroom needs to die. And soon.
T.
I had the shakshuka and it was alright. It's one of my favourite dishes and sadly it didn't live up to my expectations and what I expected from Ottolenghi. Overall, it was a nice meal and a lovely environment. The bathroom at this place was nothing like I'd ever seen before, mirrors everywhere, very interesting, felt like I'd suddenly gone to the circus lol.
E.
Nopi is a lovely little restaurant with fantastic food and excellent service. They have high chairs for children and were very accommodating to our toddler, surprising as the place is quite fancy. The food is good, although the menu isn’t lengthy, and the staff were quite understanding when we wanted to alter our order.
T. B. G.
Really tasty food and super friendly staff
A. D. L.
Good food, exemplary service, very friendly staff and idyllic ambience. Entry to exit was an experience. The fusion of the menu is very clever and suits vegans, vegetarians, pescatarians and meat lovers. The desserts are just right to finish an excellent meal.
S. M.
Great food and friendly staff. Would advise ordering a couple of things and ordering more as needed, as the dishes were larger than we expected, and they came out quickly.
S. K.
Exceptional service, exquisite food and fantastic atmosphere what more could you want! It's small plates so about 3/4 each is good to share or 4 small plates and a main. Save room for dessert its mouthwateringly delicious!
C. W.
If you love Yotam Ottenghi's food column in the Guardian or have ever tried any of his cookbooks ( eh Simple) you will enjoy eating here. If you don't know, the food is generally inspired by the lands around Israel. Each small dish ( a bit like Tapas so order about 3 to have enough) explode like a riot of flavour in your mouth. A gorgeous assault on your senses , highly vegetable based , service outstanding too . Can't recommend highly enough..
J. R.
Amazing food, amazing service, amazing deco. Smart casual dress and the drinks are a reasonable price. Fully recommended.
E. N.
This restaurant is not the most glamorous I've ever been to, but is one of the best. The staff were terrific the food is lovely, the desserts, to die for. From the moment we arrived the staff were trying their best on a very busy Friday to make us comfortable. We had free appetisers because our meal took a while. This restaurant is expensive, but so worth it.
K.
I was able to book our reservation one hour beforehand. The restaurant was pretty busy we got slightly delayed even though we arrived 10 minutes before our actual time. However the service was so sweet and gave us a complimentary starter because of the delay. The food was kind of new to us but we liked it. We ordered the roasted aubergine, seared squid, grilled whole sea bass, and the parmesan chips. It was a new kind of cuisine to us which we liked.
C. M.
Fantastic dinner with a friend. Beautiful restaurant, quality food and slick friendly service. Will definitely return. Thank you.
L. N.
We had a great family get together here in a beautiful, well lit and well ventilated space. Good music and also overall, food although the dark and stormy cocktail was I felt a little under powered and, I wish that the deserts were a little more enticing and indulgent. Never the less, the staff were patient, attentive and were very discreet in relation to my 'special request'. Overall, we had a lovely dining experience and had it not been for the time constraints, could so easily have stayed much longer. Special mention for the restroom facilities which were equally impressive
J. P.
Lovely ambience, friendly & attentive staff, and excellent food.
Had the pre-theatre tasting menu and was very impressed. I was concerned that the courses would be small, but shared between 2 they were actually perfect and I left very satisfied. The plates were delicious with loads of complimentary flavours - the savoury cheesecake was particularly good - and the paired wine was excellent.
I would happily eat here again and have recommended it to others who want somewhere to eat before the theatre.
G. D.
The always amazing Ottlenghi! Beautiful and delicious small sharing plates and con tails in a gorgeous setting! Can't wait to return!
P. B.
As spectacular as expected. We went for our waiter's recommendation of 6 'dishes to share'. The bar is certainly no downgrade even if it was the last available table, if anything it was cooler! The service was impeccable, can't fault it.. the food was to die for too. We enjoyed a mixture of Vege, fish and meat dishes, everything was cooked to perfection and garnished with love. Will be returning as soon as possible!
H. C.
Incredible food, one of our favourite fine dining spots in London. Really excellent vegetarian options which is always a bonus for us. Always blown away by the flavour they pack into their food
W. N.
Wonderfully delicious breakfast by Chef Ottolenghi.
Presentation was simple and elegant which was reflected in the simple yet delicious combination of flavours. The black rice was an excellent replacement dish for the usual boring oats. The scrambled tofu was an inspired and healthy replacement dishnfor scrambled eggs on toast.
The service was smooth, efficient and friendly. The coffee was very solid as was the freshly squeezed juice.
The overall experience was excellent.
Addendum: We enjoyed breakfast so much we went back for lunch. The service was great once again. The food was exceptional. Would definitely recommend coming here as evidenced by us coming back!
J. P.
Truly wonderful restaurant, with excellent staff and of course the trademark flavourful and explosive Ottolenghi dishes fans of the chef yearn for. The house wine, an unfiltered French red, pairs exceptionally well with the dishes, many of which are offered as small sharing platters. Only downside, perhaps, is the more swanky/formal setting feels at odds with the more rustic nature of Ottolenghi’s style. Cocktails are excellent. Try the sumac martini.
G. H.
We had such a great meal at Nopi. This was especially the case due to the wait staff. Emina at reception was so nice and gave us a great laugh.
The food was really great. A stand out was the cheesecake and the pork belly.
T. P.
Amazing food, full of surprises in flavour! Every dish we got was uniquely delicious!
The music could have been better and more suitable for a restaurant. Regardless, we had a great experience and I would definitely recommend it.
M. H.
Lovely food and experience. But: compared to Scully St. James (former Nopi head chef), not on the same level, that’s why I only gives 4 stars.
We were seated downstairs, where the actions happens. Amazing, cause you can look into the kitchen.
Service was good, but not outstanding. We shared all dishes and liked them a lot. Well prepared, but they lacked something exciting and special. The beetroot with miso was very nice. I didn’t enjoy the special polenta fries.
All in all: do go there, cause it’s worth it.
L. S.
Beautiful restaurant, delicious food, great service. This was my first Ottolenghi experience, and I was elated to get a table by walking in on a Friday afternoon. The tapas were delicious, and I was very excited to find a section of the wine list devoted to orange wine.
C. L.
The vegetarian dishes were all very different from each other and portions were enough. My favourite one was the savoury cheesecake!
C. H.
Whilst there's more space between tables than at the other restaurants, not sure that is worth the extra price. Being honest whilst I'm a massive fan of his food, none of the restaurants have really blown me away. I think for a reasonable home cook the food is easy enough to make at home so don't bother with the restaurants
i. p.
Excellent food, especially blue cheese cake rosted aubergine small plates and quince dessert. Loved the cherry and pinenut old fashioned. We sat at the bar and enjoyed watching incredibly efficient service
S. P.
I’ve only been here for brunch, but as you’d expect from an Ottolenghi venture, the flavours are top notch. I went for the famous French toast, an absolute Nopi institution (I don’t think they’ll ever take it off the menu). With star anise sugar and orange yoghurt, this is an insta-order dish. I really need to return here for lunch one day.
G. A.
Really great find, has gluten free and vegan menu's. Friendly staff. Lovely decor.
R. G.
The food was tasty. The menu was well thought out, however the range was on the limited.
The price was more on the expensive side given the portions.
H. R.
Phenomenal service and outstanding flavors. From the moment we entered, throughout service by the amazing Antonio, to the minute we left we were made to feel welcomed every moment. The food itself is very limited with no chicken on the menu (pls bring it back!) but is absolutely full of vibrant complex flavors—never thought vegetables could taste so unfamiliar in very positive way. Deserts are tiny portions but very fulfilling. Atmosphere is positive and upbeat, clean but homey. The bathrooms were spotless and the mirror effects was confusing at first but still fun. Thank you to Antonio, Nate and fabulous team at Nopi!
L. R.
We did the set menu 2, it was delicious. Very nice setting, the waitress was very attentive. Worth a visit
F.
Exactly how a fancy restaurant meal should be! If I could give 6 stars I would.
We decided to sit on the bar and in the future I wouldn't book anywhere else, the bar meant we got personalised treatment and we were walked through everything we ordered.
Also the best cocktail I've ever had was served to me here. We had 5 sharing plates and bread.
Kane on the bar deserves special mention, he made us feel special and made my 21st Birthday meal come alive.
We enjoyed complimentary sorbet and shots of amaretto free of charge. We were made to feel like we were the only people in the room (the place was fully booked) and the service went above and beyond I WILL BE BACK!
K. P.
I wish I could try breakfast there, but it is served only till 12
If you are into octopuses, you should definitely try this dish, absolutely highly recommended.
Second one goes with goat cheese, and tastes specific.. can't say that if was something worth trying. Nothing good about coffee either
They have bathroom downstairs, and it's designed very very nicely!:)
Hope to visit this place on breakfast soon
j. s.
Great spot with a fun vibe and good service. The beet root and the chicken are incredible. The rice dish is overrated and the cauliflower was just meh. All and all very good and I'd go back
A. M.
Fantastic small plates served in a lively atmosphere of a busy upscale bistro. The Mediterranean twist is more charming than officious, and the food is rich, vibrant in taste and utterly delicious. One wouldn't expect anything less than that from Ottolenghi.
D. B.
Whilst the quality of the food was good, the portion size made me feel like Oliver twist. I think baby food portions are about the same size. To conclude go for the "experience" and not to fill your stomach.
T. K.
Ottolenghi is a fast growing icon in the culinary world, and his restaurant speaks for itself. Nopi provided everything you want out of a fine dining experience from innovative cocktails (popcorn garnish!?), impeccable service, and a menu that only Ottolenghi could curate. All this, of course comes at a price, but like any fine dining, you have to look at Nopi as a culinary experience rather than just a restaurant.
The environment is sober but inviting, and the dining room, though not small, still feels intimate. The staff are well trained, and the diversity of selection on the menu is a strength and doesn’t once compromise on quality.
If you can foot the bill, I couldn’t more highly recommend an evening at Nopi.
A. H.
We had a lovely time at Nopi. We had a table at the open kitchen. The atmosphere was great and the food was fantastic. The blood orange sorbet dessert was to die for! We were served by Argi who really made our experience complete. Thank you for the amazing service Argi!
M. B.
It's calm, it's delicious, it's opulent. Lia was our server and was so much fun the whole time she made us feel like we were right back at home, but, getting served spectacular dishes and even more epic cocktails. Make sure you ask for Lia when you walk in! So much fun!
N. P.
Delicious lil lunch place in Soho. The food was moreish and flavoursome. Small plates but filling. The cheesecake was my favourite.
H. B.
Had dinner downstairs on New year's Eve. Good food, lots of flavour. The letdown for me was that the vegan menu was not inventive, it's just some veggies and rice and little choice. If you're vegan: tasty, but not worth the buck.
D. F.
Don't sit downstairs unless you're with a big group! The sound carries terribly. I had a splitting headache by the time we left.
The food was good, and we might have enjoyed it even more if we didn't have to yell to hear each other talk
J. P.
I'm an Ottolenghi fan so I really wanted to go to Nopi. Verdict - the value and food is better at Ottolenghi. You get more and for less money. I love the cold vegetable dishes but usually feel full with them, not this time. My favourite is the roasted aubergine, always fantastic. The double cooked chicken was excellent but small for £22. The sirloin was perfect, as always, but again seemed a small portion for the money. The roasted butternut squash was very very good - and I don't like squash very much. The pork belly was tasty but cooked a little too long. There is complimentary still or sparkling water, which cuts down on the final cost. Our bill for three people with one glass of wine and one cocktail was £33 a head. The sharing platter size is enough for each person (of three) to have one taste. What was exceptional in Nopi was downstairs there is a communal table. We had three different sets of neighbours in succession. It was fantastic chatting to them and finding out more about them. All were from outside of the UK, interesting! The server was so helpful and friendly. We felt well taken care of and his recommendations were right on. Oh and the toilet - I won't say too much but it was an experience! I am glad I wasn't having alcohol that night. I'd say go - prepare to spend a lot. Maybe have one or two dishes and go somewhere else later. A great night!
M. Y. N.
Delicious and relatively healthy middle eastern cuisine by the famed Ottolenghi. Service was decent, and particularly enjoyed the roasted aubergine with pickled lemon, and the fried potatoes.
C. S.
Beautifully designed space, but service was tepid at best, the eggs in the shakshuka were cooked right through (instead of the lovely runny texture you’d like to soak up with your toast) and the french toast was beautifully plated but dry to the taste. Disappointing brunch experience for a big fan of Ottolenghi & Ottolenghi cookbooks.
A. o. A. D.
Lovely lunch and food was very good
V. F.
Fantastic experience. Food is awesome and very special. Two areas- upstairs ( I found it quite loud) and downstairs( community tables, view into kitchen). Wonderful experience right next to regent street. Lovely staff and check out the bathroom! Reservations recommended.
A. A.
All dishes are intriguing and inventive, mixing familiar ingredients with exotic flavours - the mix of spices, herbs and fresh vegetables is decevingly simple - but when you taste a bite the complexity of the taste will awaken your senses - and possibly your memories. Service is careful and helpful. A good choice of natural (orange) wines and of dessert wines/spirits/cocktails.
S. R.
Beautiful, bright interiors. Nicely sized menu with enough choices to serve a wide variety of tastes without making the selection overwhelming. Note that alcohol service for Sunday brunch doesn't begin until 12pm. One of the best pain au chocolat I've ever had, even compared with French artisinal bakeries!
My only point of disappointment was that my egg dish was advertised as having za'atar; however, the touch of za'atar was so light that it may as well not have had it at all and then loses the Ottolenghi "zing" as a dish at that point. Otherwise highly recommended.
A. M.
We enjoyed a delicious pre theatre meal. Fabulous food with kind and efficient service.
L. B.
We were seating at shared table and this is fine, the place itself is nice, well furnished and bright. Maybe one waitress is not enough for the entire room. The food was good, but it didn't have any real spark in terms of fast. I would expect more from those mix of flavours.
W. M.
This is my favourite restaurant in London, the food, wine & service are excellent. The menu never fails to intrigue plus the "salad display" always gets lots of attention. Awesome location for a late lunch after some shopping in Regent St.
r.
3.5 stars.
Consistent food from the kitchen but if something can be done about the vents blowing cold air downstairs, it would make the whole dining experience a ton more pleasant as half the salads are already usually served cold, and the warm food just cools too quickly which does not make it an enjoyable meal in general on a cold winter's evening.
We rushed our meal because of this!! What a shame.
C. S.
Another fantastic dinner at NOPI — the ambiance, food, service, and wine list are all still the best. Sparks is a must-visit for anyone looking for a top-tier dining experience.
NOPI's very professional team graciously accommodated my party of ten for dinner on May 20.
On a very busy night, the owner and his team did an outstanding job, and I must say that it was one of the best times I have ever had at Sparks. My clients were very impressed and pleased with the Rose Room setup, and the food was delicious and beautifully prepared, as it always is.
A. M.

Good but not great. A bit disappointing but loved the wine list. I recommend the burrata and the Lake District steak which were outstanding.

Amazing food as you would expect, the service made it. Very knowledgeable staff, gave us great recommendations on the dishes and the wine. Well done guys!

Super tasty veggie food, enjoyable place but the portions are quite small.

R. G.
Good but not great. A bit disappointing but loved the wine list. I recommend the burrata and the Lake District steak which were outstanding.
J. L.
Had dinner at the sharing table downstairs. Excellent menu with great sharing dishes. Service was friendly and made us feel right at home. Do visit the very interesting toilet with the mirror walls
K. P.
Good food. However, I don’t believe the price quite matched the food quality unfortunately. Good one time experience ☺️
e. t.
I really liked the menu and was happy to try some exciting combinations while enjoying fresh ingredients and very good wine. The portions though were quite small; we were five people sharing and thought that we would be advised before ordering but not and everything a bit too pricey. The deserts were not a success. There was a long waiting time till we got to our booked table and felt like we were forgotten.
T. v. R.
Food was great, we had dinner on the top level, but downstairs with the kitchen and large tables also looked nice, although I was happy we could eat upstairs with just the two of us. Cocktails were great too, not your average bar cocktail. Service was great. All in all it was a bit expensive.
C. C.
Great vegetarian options for brunch. Shaksuka had a delicate balance of spice and freshness. Service is amazing! Best photo spot- the mirrored bathroom.
l. k.
Nice breakfast - we had the shakshuka and the Israeli breakfast.
All dishes were good, bread was only ok.
It's probably better if you're not used to the wonderful Israeli breakfasts...
D. V.
Had brunch at the bar area. Food came quickly - we had the shakshuka and the corn polenta cake with eggs as well as the black rice pudding.
P. C.
Food was top notch. Every dish was beyond my expectations.
Service was top notch
Love the ambience and deco - light and airy with a touch of decadence.
Highly recommend to visit if you are a Ottolenghi fan.
Do make reservations if you want to visit.
L.
Nice restaurant..the dinning area downstairs next to the kitchen it was nice and cozy. we went for brunch and the food was very tasty and the staff was very friendly
R. J.
Wonderful restaurant- the staff were super amazing and I would actually kill people to eat more of that feta and pepper dish 😍
B. M. R.
I went by myself to celebrate my 68th Birthday and the whole experience was wonderful. Very welcoming and attentive service. Thank you Hannah and the whole team for making an old man have a wonderful day which I will always treasure. Thank you!
M. H.
Lovely food and experience. But: compared to Scully St. James (former Nopi head chef), not on the same level, that’s why I only gives 4 stars. …
1. O.
I have had so many versions of Ottolenghi’s aubergine cooked by different friends so when I had the original one I didn’t like it. I know it is not a fair comparison but discussions on food ( on google guides) are anyways subjective. I found the aubergine to be bland. Even the dessert was sub par as the combination in the strawberry mess didn’t work for me. Staff was awesome, great service and I loved the ambience of the place. Maybe I should come back again and try something else.
J. W.
Great food ! Lovely ambiance . A must try . My new fav in Soho
N. W.
Lovely food ... interesting... varied ..delicious!! And service was outstanding.. warm and friendly. Made for a memorable birthday celebration.
F.
Exactly how a fancy restaurant meal should be! If I could give 6 stars I would.
We decided to sit on the bar and in the future I wouldn't book anywhere else, …
A. J.
Absolutely fantastic. Interesting, wonderful food; fuzzy vibe; delightful staff.
E. C.
Food was delicious, staff were so friendly, great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend!
T. L.
Some truly delicious dishes (the aubergine starter was outstanding) but rather charmless service.
As a French Mediterranean person I was really disappointed with the fact that they were not serving any bread - massive let down compared to their excellent mother restaurant in Islington which has the most amazing bread selection.
There’s only one great ottolenghi restaurant to me. The others are mediocre imitations.
S. M.
Absolutely one of my favourite restaurants. Fantastic food and service.
F. B.
One of the best meals I’ve had in London! Everything was simply amazing
K. H.
Went for cocktails so can't comment on the food but just glorious. A fabulously decadent mid-afternoon treat. And loved our barman who was chatty and informative and knew when to talk to us and when to leave us talking :) I am still kicking myself that I didn't buy a signed recipe book. I will do better next time :)
E. T.
I love Nopi! The food here is amazing and the staff are really great. They’re very knowledgeable about everything on the menu (which is all absolutely delicious)!
The upstairs is individual tables, downstairs is communal dining. I’ve eaten both upstairs and downstairs and can say they’re both great. You get so much space downstairs, you wouldn’t realise you’re on a table with others (and it’s quite nice sometimes)!
The menu changes every so often - it’s very seasonal - but the sharing menu is a wonderful idea. I would suggest you get at least 2 plates per person, and although they look quite small they will fill you up more than you realise.
Price wise, it’s around £9-£15~ per dish which is a little pricey, but totally worth it.
It’s the perfect place to pop in for a quick lunch (booking is a good idea), bring a date or catch up with old friends. Go for it!
A. M.
Cannot praise this restaurant highly enough for unusual lunch menu (a bit like tapas...but not), combination of flavours, very friendly and helpful staff. We sampled things like Valdéon cheesecake, pickled beetroot, thyme honey and almonds, and Persian Love Rice in vine leaves with pickled Tokyo turnips and cashew yogurt, with delicious sweet treats for afters. We arrived/booked for 12 then it got very busy with queues, so it's as well to check. Even the toilets deserve a mention...dont worry: there is an arrow on the floor to show you the exit...Alice in Wonderland stuff!!!
N. L.
Wonderful food and drinks (great cocktails), and very friendly staff (sit at the bar for a chat!)
E. R.
This is an excellent place to go for tapas and sharing plates. Very delicious and unusual flavours, presented beautifully. Every single dish was a treat with its own unique character.
Nopi has a very laid-back vibe but still offers classic European restaurant service with an extensive wine and cocktail list, attentive service, nibbles, fresh bread and complimentary water for the table, etc. The payoff for the combination of service and high quality food is, naturally, the price; which is high even by London standards.
B. H.
I was looking forward to this dinner for months, and boy it even was better than imagined! We shared 8 dishes and every dish was a treat. What a wonderful experience!
R. P.
Tasty veggie dishes well executed from great produce. Vegetarian dishes better then meats.
Fun wine list! A great restaurant could come back any day!
W. A.
While this not a vegetarian restaurant, vegetables are king here. Not as expensive as you might think when you consider bhow good everything tates here. Polenta chips with truffle oil mayonnaise, kale with Nam Prick, pumpkin with zatar etc etc. Toilets are downstairs, decor is white (a bit of a theme latley around other good restaurants) and great service.
E. C.
This restaurant was recommended by my brother-in-law. He owns the chef's cookbook and the recipes are incredible! So we had to try it out. Since it was close to our hotel we figured it would be a nice breakfast stop before we visited the outskirts of the city.
The restaurant itself is beautiful but from the outside it is easy to miss! So be on the lookout.
As soon as we entered we were greeted by the hostess who offered to store our coats, yes, please!
For breakfast I ordered the Shakshuka and my husband ordered a breakfast dish with pita, fried cheese, fried egg and salad. I tried the cheese and it was delicious!
The Shakshuka was great. The bread it came with was perfect for the dish. At first I thought the portion seemed small but it ended up being super filling. I couldn't even finish my meal!
I would love to come back here again if we are ever in the area.
N. J.
Perfect! Very friendly staff.

Wonderful food full of flavour with a gorgeous atmosphere. Very expensive but certainly worth it.
J. W.
Having been to the Royal Academy, meeting a friend I hadn’t seen since prior to lock down, we came for lunch, 27th July. I always enjoy eating at NOPI, the food is always delicious with different taste combinations, but it was made even more special by the professional, attentive, knowledgeable and empathic service delivered by Rebecca and Anastasia. Thank you, it really added to our day. Joy
S.
Stellar. Must have is for sure the Valdéon cheesecake. But very hard to find something I didn't like.
D. N.
Great selection of food, especially tapas including wide veggie choice. I didn't like obligatory 15% service fee, although the service was very friendly and helpful so I would leave the tip anyway.
M. B.
Brilliant! Simply amazing in taste and quality - definitely some of the most delicious food I had in aeons.
B. B.
Omg soooo good absolute fabulous food !!!!!

3.5 stars.
Consistent food from the kitchen but if something can be done about the vents …
C. E.
Top class restaurant with varied menu, delicious and unusual food. Top class service. Not cheap but worth every penny.
L. G.
Excellent concept restaurant.
Slightly expensive but worth every pennies spent.
W. S.
When you enter the restaurant your mood suddenly changes because the environment seems so pristine and clean. It's all white with gold accents basically. The food is obviously really good. The miso hake and aubergine definitely stand out though.
S. A.
GREAT FOOD. GREAT SERVICE. can't believe it took me seven years to come here! AND THEY SERVE PALESTINIAN WINE. well done otto lenghi!
l. k.
Nice breakfast - we had the shakshuka and the Israeli breakfast.
All dishes were good, bread was only ok.
It's probably better if you're not used to the wonderful Israeli breakfasts...
a. w.
Me and daughter came after seeing the menu.We was very pleased by the service as we did not reserve a table so we was put at the shared at first but the lady nicoleta was lovely enough to get us a reserved table. The food itself was amazing the waiters was extremely helpful. Definitely be back.
M. L.
This review is for Nopi downstairs. No doubt the food is delicious, even if the duck was maybe just a little overcooked for my taste. But (very) unfortunatly some things come in the way and make me give 3 and not 5 stars even though I am a HUGE fan of Ottolenghi. The service is a bit too "pushy", trying to sell. But the worst part is the music: it is not restful at all: not well chosen, bad sound, and given these two points too loud. Too bad. Will maybe try Nopi upstairs but won't return to Nopi downstairs.
A. A.
Lovely atmosphere with a nice breakfast. A place that I strongly recommend.
E.
Gorgeous restaurant with delicate dishes. Comes with a price, a treat. Burrata is amazing, polenta chip is great, pork belly can be a bit dry, salad is alright, and chocolate ganache is decent.
M. B.
Brilliant! Simply amazing in taste and quality - definitely some of the most delicious food I had in aeons.
K. M.
We ate at Nopi on a Monday and despite this being the start of the week the atmosphere was great. The restaurant staff where very helpful and the food was nice.
If I was to say anything negative, it would be that you can feel the staff pushing to keep you within your 2 hour limit. They even asked us to move on as we had gone 15 mins over. This time would normally be fine, however we where catching up with friends. Keep this in mind if you are looking to do the same.
The choice of drinks was great and not only for people who drink alcohol. Nopi had a good selection of mocktails and fresh fruit juices along with the usual.
We went with the recommended 2-3 dishes per person to share as recommended by the staff and added on deserts. This was plenty however Nopi could have a few more choices.
Overall good food, atmosphere and staff.
M. P.
Very friendly staff but too expensive for what you get. The vegetarian dishes very tasty but very small portions. The chicken was not very tasty
L. V.
Great food. Can't decide what was the standout dish as everything was delicious.

Amazing food and service. Great atmosphere.

NOPI - review and my first 'cheque analysis' style post
Sunday, 215pm
Table for 3
Lunch!
Started off with a slightly delayed earlier table which left me standing in the "waiting area" for 20mins. Which wasn't great but was promptly made up by offering me Ottolenghi special nuts and sparkling water. And then a cocktail of my choice (Banana & Cardamom!) So yes, they definitely made up for the wait.
The menu offered the following categories
Nibbles £5-7
Mains £20-25
Dishes to share £10-15
Sides £6.2
Desserts £6-9
Drinks £5-11
2 of us decided to go for a dish to share + a side and the 3rd person had a side and dessert.
My meal was delicious: spiced buttermilk cod, urid dhal, cavolo nero + truffle polenta chips, parmesan & garlic aioli
The others really enjoyed their dishes too :) The total was £71 incl service and a donation. We found it quite reasonable (are we too used to London prices...? Perhaps!). It was nice to have tried the famous Ottolenghi dishes. lonDONE recommends. Would we return? Yes but maybe after checking out a few more amazing places London has to offer. But happy to have #lonDONE this.

Breakfast for my fiancé’s birthday was a delight.
The food was top quality, packed full of flavour. I’d suggest getting the corn and polenta cakes with extra bacon as this is a truly epic dish!
Top marks Ottolenghi!
G. D.
Amazing amazing lunch. Pictures speak for themselves, but the staff and setting was great and freshness of the ingredients they pack into the sharing platters was amazing
S. D.
Great experience - we loved the cocktails and the food
G. S.
Phenomenal. Attentive service without being intrusive, good wine selection and wonderful food. Highly recommended. The beef and beetroot rendang is a revolution and the octopus was very tender.
D. D.
Lunch was v disappointing, especially since I am a fan of the other Ottolenghi restaurants. The dishes were very very salty and over cooked, greasy and very small portions. Overall not worth the high price anymore.
K. A.
If you are looking for a healthy food, then you have to come here.
Food/service/ vibes all are fantastic
L. G.
Absolutely outstanding. With a reservation, we had a lovely mewl that lasted into the evening.
J. W.
Great food ! Lovely ambiance . A must try . My new fav in Soho
E. T.
The food was fantastic, but we were very disappointed to get there for a friends birthday and be told we would be charged a ‘cakeage’ charge of £5.50 PER PERSON. It would have been nice to know this in advance when booking as it’s quite a large charge. Besides that, the service was good and the food was delicious.
R. H.
A memorable lunch as father and son after a cultural morning with Nero.
Lively but relaxed atmosphere upstairs and excellent and attentive service.
Top of the menu was hake for one on a bed of sweet corn tapioca and octopus for the other with a saag accompaniment. Delicious to start even though the polenta chips beforehand took some beating.
Main course lemon sole on the bone with crispy Ottolenghi spices over one side and pea shoots and peas and asparagus on the side.
To introduce an 18 year old to such delights might be to spoil him but why not - they will not be home forever (perhaps...)
f. g.
The croquettes are worth it alone. Add the chicken that is marinated in the tastyist sauce, polenta with truffles and a great staff and you'll have a culinary satisfaction that is special. Enjoy!

Lovely food ... interesting... varied ..delicious!! And service was outstanding.. warm and friendly. Made for a memorable birthday celebration.

As an Ottolenghi fan, I’ve wanted to come here for so, so long. It definitely delivered on my high expectations. We chose 6 of the small plates, each one a delight. The Burrata was my personal favourite. Just such a good place.
M. H.
Beautiful food. Service was a tad slow but it was NYE
H. H.
Went here for our anniversary dinner and just loved it. The food was delicious - we had 6 plates between the two of us and they were all unique and very tasty. The cocktails were also a highlight. The service was very efficient and friendly, and they gave us a special dessert to celebrate our anniversary which was amazing. Would come back again for sure!
P. A.
Lovely sharing plates, excellent service and some interesting wines. Happy to recommend

Absolutely fantastic. Interesting, wonderful food; fuzzy vibe; delightful staff.

Great atmosphere and really unique food ! It was healthy and testy . Recommend the sea bas !
L. G.
Excellent concept restaurant.
Slightly expensive but worth every pennies spent.
R. C.
Third time here. This is five star, people. Book early. Food is really tasty and the menu allows you to explore with smaller plates. Prices are reasonable for what you get but it's not cheap. Service is friendly and attentive. Personally I prefer to sit upstairs - I love the big, social tables downstairs but not the stock sitting to the rear and the lighting from the kitchen is harsh compared to upstairs. At the bar is great for lunch as well and you can quickly grab staffs attention. All in all a real stellar deal. I jump at the chance to come back!
J. “.
Special place for a special meal. Sharing plates are the way to go... 4 or 5 dishes between two people
P. M.
Great customer service and lovely food. The miso hake, pork belly, roasted aubergine and Valdeon cheese cake were all amazing and come highly recommended
F. F.
Really good vegetarian food, they take things seemingly boring but add a great twit to it.
Probably not worth the price though
J. C.
Delicious, well balanced and interesting twists on old and new flavour combinations. Not cheap but worth the price
d. s.
I had the most delightful piece of seabass, truly stunning.
t. h.
food is fresh and full of flavor. chestnut dessert was delicious.. must try
B. M.
NOPI is fantastic especially when your boss pays the bill. The vegan options are plentiful. I recommend (summer 2021) the stuffed aubergine /eggplant.
A. L.
Came for our anniversary and loved the food (great for vegetarians as well), friendly and attentive staff, classy yet casual atmosphere - great experience overall!
W. S.
Top atmosphere and food.
Highly recommended
E. S.
Great separate gluten free menu and a sneaky free cake for my birthday!
t. a.
The design is appealing and pleasant (especially in the mirror covered lavatory). The food was high quality and well prepared but not particularly exciting. What I found shocking was the pricing - while according to Google this is a relatively expensive (3 pound symbol) it should in fact have 4 pounds - the recommended number of dishes was 3 per person which amounts to apx 60 pound per person before drinks and service. All in all, a nice place if you want to enjoy a decent meal at a beautiful venue and are willing to spend some cash.
D. B.
It is a good restaurant, and I’m not giving it 5 stars because I don’t think it’s the best Ottolenghi restaurant. We ordered a friend polenta at the beginning and it was DELICIOUS. Maybe that raised our standards too much. The food in general is flavoursome, but not extraordinary like Ottolenghi’s Rovi.
k. p.
Delicious food and excellent service, resulting in a thoroughly enjoyable lunchtime dining experience
N. D.
Very different. Unusual menu. Nice atmosphere. The food is tasty and great for people who like to explore. Good service.
A. M.
The most delicious food ever! Every single bite was amazing. Well definitely be returning.
C. R.
Delicious sharing starters with amazing complementary flavours with a focus on vegetarian options but for me the duck with cherry mustard was the best, as well the roasted pineapple with coconut ice cream. Great wines too barolo went very nicely
n. g.
I visited twice during my stay. First for lunch, for one I got a salad and a side which filled me up (the croquettes were so tasty). Delicious and interesting cocktails. Make sure you visit the bathroom. The staff were very attentive. I also had breakfast, interesting flavours and combinations.
A. M.
Incredible food, amazing service. Best meal we've had in London.
G.
The food is great and tasty en the decoration of the restaurant is amazing. But the experience for us was a bit ruined by being told multiple times that we had to leave the table soon. We made the reservation two months in advance so we would expect to get enough time to dine properly. But, they rushed us by picking up the plates from the table right after you had the last bite and pouring wine in the glasses when they were still half full. Also acoustic is very bad and small portions.
k.
Great original food, great taste, a little pricey
G. R.
Sublime - the food here tastes more akin to alchemy vs cooking - base ingredients turned into stars.
World class - visit and enjoy if you can.
M. C.
Food is incredible!!!
Service is very attentive and kind.
My husband and I enjoyed a lot the experience.
I ordered the octopus as starter and it blow my mind, my husband loved the pork and the pinapple pudding was amazing. The only but is the chickpeas pancake, my opinion is that it should be a starter rather than a main; it becomes boring after some bites.
The place is beautiful as well with open kitchen.
We highly recommend it, we are chefs and it's not easy to please us 😅
A. A.
Tasty unique dishes - originality throughout the entire menu. Venue beautiful and effortless chic . Very well executed sharing concept. The cheesecake small plates being my favorite . Service was warm and friendly. Wished some of the dishes were larger which would add to the value. But I’ll keep coming back.
I. W.
Amazing food and great service from Ottolenghi.
C. E.
Top class restaurant with varied menu, delicious and unusual food. Top class service. Not cheap but worth every penny.
F. A.
Nice place for breakfast
Good selection menu
My recommend
Shakshoka with smoked labanah
H. A.
Small and Elegant place with good service and high quality ingredients! Perfect spot for breakfast.
L. D. G.
Yum, yum, yum. I love that plates are small because you don't have to choose just one thing! The lemon posset with meringue and elderflower was one of the best deserts I've ever had and their eggplant is amazing. The space is modern but warm and service is lovely. Downstairs more casual than upstairs. If eating alone, the bar is a nice option.
C. H.
Amazing food, fantastic atmosphere and great staff.
A. P.
Delicious. Exactly what you want from an Ottolenghi meal. Staff were really friendly and helpful. We had a private table upstairs and it felt like a special occasion (although the bill was actually quite reasonable despite us attempting to eat as much of the menu as possible). Dessert selection didn’t appeal to our group but everything else was fresh, tasty and more-ish. Will find a reason to return
A. D.
Decent food, not amazing. Small portions for the price and service that took forever (to get seated, to order, order dessert and get the bill...)
J. C.
Delicious food, super service. The aubergine was particularly good!
R. R.
The food here is very good, although I'm not entirely sure it warrants the price tag. FYI if you're booking online please beware as it's very misleading - the website prompts you to pick either 'Upstairs' or 'Downstairs' seating. I chose downstairs, thinking this would be street level - however when my wife and I arrived at the restaurant we were led into the basement to be seated at a communal table, and alongside the restaurant larder where all of the kitchen product is openly stored. Not quite the romantic dinner for two (to celebrate our wedding anniversary!) we had in mind! That said, we still had an enjoyable evening, although I think the Shoreditch Ottolenghi is much better.
L. W.
Superbly tasty veggie small plates, tried the fish and prawns which were equally delicious. A splash of orange wine made the whole a very enjoyable lunch experience.
The downstairs room is not that cosy though, book upstairs.
The service was attentive and knowledgeable, a pleasure.
J. H.
Good staff good food. Great vibe. Look at that fish. Stuffed with goodies :)
C. P.
Amazing food, great cocktails. You have to book many days in advance if you want to have a slot at the first floor at a sensible time. Good service - although our second cocktails order got lost at some point between our table and the bar. I reckon it's a great place to have dinner with friends or family - it's a bit too loud and bright for a date. Oh and don't forget to check the toilets.
d. j.
I had my 50th Birthday Lunch here on Saturday had to make a huge fuss to get decent service as was very slack in the beginning even though they had plenty of staff standing around, booking was for 4pm and we were told we needed to be out by 6pm before we'd even ordered anything! Food is delicious but very overpriced for what it is, basically lots of small sharing plates. Overall a Bit disappointing.
H. d. R.
Good restaurant. Very busy and therefore a little bit too noisy. Friendly staff.
W. G.
Really special food :) This place has some wonderful juxtapositions; the food is novel but not gimmicky, and our order was full of delicious cheese but yet not too heavy. The cocktails were also delicious! Service was lovely.
Only downsides were that the space was quite tight and fairly noisy.
Overall the food and drink here is fantastic, and well worth putting into your itinerary even if you're just visiting.
J. R.
Absolutely fantastic dining experience.
We visited about 18:00 on a Tuesday evening so it was still relatively quiet in the restaurant which was lovely. Our waitress was outstanding, friendly but not over the top and was able to answer any questions we had about ingredients or menu items.
The menu had a great choice and we went for six of the sharing options over the mains as that seemed like a good option to try a variety of flavours. Each dish was lovely and quite different! The savoury cheese cake dish was stunning, if you get a choice I would recommend it!
The only mistake we made was having six dishes as we couldn’t make room for a pudding which all sounded great too.
Not the cheapest option for dinner in London but definitely worth it as a treat, we will definitely be going back again!
S. B.
Delicious food, great venue. Everything was packed with flavour, even the classic cocktails had an interesting twist in them
J. M.
Quite simply one of the best meals I have ever eaten, and for a really affordable price. I have to say this is the perfect balance between fine dining and just great food, it manages to escape the pomposity of fine dining while still retaining that special feel. If I had more money and time I would eat here daily.
F. B.
We ordered 5 tapas style dishes between 2 of us: more than enough and all vegetarian and delicious! Nice informal atmosphere, service good and unobtrusive. Would definitely eat here again.
H. L.
This was a simply perfect meal. From the cocktails, to the Palestinian wine, to each plate that was not trying too hard, everything was just right. I love the mix of Middle Eastern influences in each dish. The experience eating downstairs at the communal tables next to the kitchen was ideal for the culture behind the food, and I enjoyed every single minute. I’ll be back my next trip to London.
E. T.
I love Nopi! The food here is amazing and the staff are really great. They’re very knowledgeable about everything on the menu (which is all absolutely delicious)! …

Make Ottolenghi pilgrimage. The ingredients are delightful, the menu tight with no wrong choices, and the quality consistent. The suggested wines are enjoyable and well paired. Do not let the less formal environment fool you - a place where the table covering storage is built into the wall with the two sizes clearly written beside hints at how tightly run this ship is run. Excellence is not left to chance.
B. R.
Totally worth the fuss. Incredible vegetables and succulent meats. A must go!
G. H.
Party of three with an advance booking, arrived somewhat early and were seated in the basement area right away. Didn’t get any of the mains but ordered quite a few plates to share amongst us. There was literally no dish that we didn’t like. Pricey, yes - but you get your money‘s worth. Lovely waitress by the way went above and beyond catering to our every whims. My personal favs included the mackerel, aubergines and the beef; I dare you! Overall bill approx £250 for about ten plates, a bottle of wine, a beer, two cocktails, a large bottle of fizzy water and three desserts.
S.
Food was excellent, utterly sublime actually. The staff are absolutely amazing and really make the entire experience. My only criticism is that the portions of food on the 'Sharing Plates' are small, portions generally are small, but We had a fantastic time!
L. R.
It wasn’t bad it just wasn’t great... had better shakshuka before and the menu is rather limited for breakfast. The sandwich was great but I couldn’t eat the pork sausage in it and they weren’t offering a vegetarian replacement. I’d rather try Rovi or go to my favourite Middle Eastern restaurant- Delamina. Service was excellent though. Very child friendly too.
A. L.
Came here for a late breakfast with friends and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The simple yet stunning decor/theme welcomes you to the restaurant and makes for such a pleasant dining experience. The staff are great and friendly too. But obviously, the most important factor is the food and I absolutely enjoyed my dish of beef brisket, potatoes salad and fried egg. The flavours were amazing and just the right balance. My friends had the French toast which I took a bite and was absolutely divine! £17 for breakfast..some may thing it's strap but it was worth it! Definitely a return!
R. S.
Good food but very less portion
A. C.
Dropped by for a late breakfast. Pros: very well prepared food, all classic flavours at breakfast but good regional varieties. Overall really smooth, friendly service too. Cons: our waitress was visibly annoyed when we ordered a dessert that would take 20 minutes to prep. And be aware some items on the menu are a little overpriced.

Went for dinner Downstairs at NOPI for our first wedding anniversary - perfect! Loved sitting at the communal chefs tables in the kitchen. Really friendly, knowledgeable and attentive staff. Delicious, interesting cocktails - recommend the Saffron Chase. Fantastic food - highly recommend the cucumber and radish nibbles, polenta chips and courgette fritters! Great for veggies with so much choice, but still works really well for omnivores. All served at a very reasonable price for such good food and atmosphere - 4 cocktails and 6 sharing dishes under £130 for two people. A real treat, wouldn't hesitate to come again.

Popped in on the off chance they had a table and were offered the communal dining table. Quite a nice space downstairs and if you sit in the right spot, you get to see the goings on in the kitchen.
We ordered a few small plates and enjoyed most of them, the savoury cheesecake, sirloin steak and courgette fritters being the stars. The quail was... okay. While most of it was well cooked, it seemed a little too pink inside and we left most of it. We queried it and were told that was how they served it, but they did take it off the bill for us, we ate less than half the dish. Maybe it was fine, but it did just seem a little rare for poultry. Who knows. As it was though, we were happy with the rest of the meal and the service we received.

Very good eating experience. Polished and refined. Lovely decor and fitout, and great service. Very good food, particularly the vegetables - good to finally see a London establishment realise that the quality of ingredients is the #1 consideration. Some of the dishes maybe in just the "very good" as opposed to "jaw dropping" category but that is being picky. Overall, excellent

Fantastic food. Misleading prices. We all absolutely devoured our food, great fusion of Israeli and Palestinian flavours in each dish. The lamb and chicken are especially delicious. We were shocked with the bill though as the menu prices don't include VAT so our bill was considerably more than we expected. This was not clearly marked on the menu or mentioned beforehand and is incredibly unusual and misleading practice in the UK. They also charge a 15% service fee on all tables so there is no need to tip.

Original & surprising cuisine. Beautiful fresh products, lovely presentation in a tapas sort of way, special wine selection. This is definitely not the kind of cooking you eat every day or that you can find everywhere. Hip (and loud) place where people wait in line even till outside to get a table, so you really need to make reservations beforehand. For groups I recommend to reserve a table downstairs (2 tables for 14 people each) where you have a view on the open kitchen and the noise is a little less loud. Special toilets that really require a visit ! Excellent dishes but maybe not for everyone, and very loud establishment. However, I would definitely recommend it, at least to try out once if you're around.

I liked it. Love what they do with an eggplant (aubergine, if you are across the pond). Smokey, spicy, sweet, exotic. Lots of flavors to embrace. Enjoyed their take on schwarma, which was more like a long-brasied, fork-tender lamb with hints of cinnamon and herbs, on a flat bread with a drizzle of their famous yogurt sauce. Polenta "chips" or fries came to the table crispy, but a little over-laden with a truffle oil, but I still enjoyed. Service was a little off. We didn't see our server much, though the food arrived with alacrity and in quick succession. However, a glass of wine I ordered to enjoy with the meal did not arrive until after all the food was consumed :) That's ok, I made it my dessert. I'd still go back.

The cocktails were really delicious and the food was pretty decent too. I wouldn't say there was anything wildy special about the food itself, and I was expecting a bit more if i'm honest, considering 3 courgette fritters is £11. Having said that, it's easy to eat and tasty.

My favourite Ottolenghi restaurant. Cocktail menu is ace. Our table had pretty much every vegetable and it was hard to pick a favorite. Crushed carrots were a nice surprise, and of course the aubergine. Tomatoes could've been better...some mealy ones in there.
B. B.
Omg soooo good absolute fabulous food !!!!!
T. M.
Great place for Near Eastern cuisine done very very well. Over several visits everything has been delicious, including the brunch on one occasion. Has a really good vibe too. Surprisingly reasonably priced for the quality, location, atmosphere, and fame of the chef.
H. B.
Came here for a family dinner. I'm vegan with a soy allergy, they were very accommodating. I really enjoyed the Persian love rice. Good cocktail menu too.
R. W.
The communal table in front of the kitchen downstairs, is surrounded by the ambient ingredients, which makes you feel part of, rather than served by, the experience.
So often, fusion cooking confuses the palette with jarring combinations, attempting to impress and forgetting that food need not be a challenge.
Here, you simply wonder why nobody did it like this before, with such naturally complimentary flavours and superbly judged textures. Every mouthful is a delight to savour, slowly. We loved it.
A. B.
A real treat. We went here for a lunch on a Sunday, restaurant was relatively busy so we had booked our table in advance. Decor is white with bronze details and good use of light.
Service was excellent throughout, the right level of attentiveness, manners and attitude. The waitress had excellent knowledge of the products and ingredients.
We shared a number of small dishes/sides between three, and were treated to some amazing tastes, textures and smells. Highlights being the mountain trout and the beef short rib.
Portions for these are smallish (you'd want at least two per average person) but there are number to choose from. Vegetarians are well served with the options.
There is a large cocktail/mocktail menu with plenty of good options.
Pricewise it's at the upper end, but the quality was excellent.

Feel a bit mean giving three stars because the food was seriously great - i would have been surprised if it wasn't. What brought the whole experience down was the staff. At somewhere which is premium price point (and it was my birthday dinner), there was a serious problem with the service. No guidance on the menu, when asked what was recommended on the menu the answer was 'anything really', no help with the drinks list and service in general was really intermittent. We both felt like this really brought the occasion down. When leaving the manager asked how it was - without being rude (honestly) we said the food was great but the service let it down. Her reply was 'okay, i see. Bye then' Great.... definitely wont return..Bye then.
B. I.
Really nice restaurant (and not too noisy for London).
A. B.
Extremely nice atmosphere and service and FOOD!!! Fresh, delicious and healthy. It was a pleasure to have brunch & lunch there. I highly recommend this place!
S. L.
Innovative and delicious modern dishes. I would recommend getting tapas sized plates and sharing to allow everyone to sample the complex flavour combinations. It is also great to see Palestinians and Israelis working together in such harmony and friendship. Deserts are also to die for. Great drinks selection. Stylish modern decor. Got the cook book and will keep coming back.

One of my new favourites in London. We ran into this place by chance and so glad we did. The food was amazing, the service great and the atmosphere was spot on - nicer but not stuffy. I would recommend ordering 4 or 5 small plates between two. Looking forward to going back!
J. P.
The meal was excellent - lemon sole and my wife had the lamb. The service was swift and attentive. We decided to try out the 'orange wine'. I can't say I liked it all that much - it came in a carafe which means you can never be sure just how old the wine is.
d.
Just the kind of place I like!
The food is wonderful and different! The service has been amazing when I have visited it. Beside that, the atmosphere of the place is chill but cool. I specially like the downstairs area, it’s great for big dinners or lunches with friends and family
S.
Wonderful service here. The food is also very tasty and beautifully presented. They have a theater option as we were going to watch a show after but we opted to try other things on the menu because they had so many tasty dishes! The decor was very modern and kind of minimalist but worked really well.
T.
Fantastic food and decor. Only a 4 instead of a 5 because it is quite pricey, but the food is delicious! Definitely book in advance. The polenta chips and any fish dish are always firm favourites when we visit. I'd recommend as a pre-theatre venue to share small plates with friends. Try the orange wines, they're fabulous (and the bathroom is fun too!).
R. J.
Delicious food! I prefer sitting downstairs because it has a more casual vibe - you can see the kitchen and there are big tables like you're at a dinner party. They recommend sharing several plates and we did just that, which is nice to be able to try several dishes. Particularly loved the butternut squash!
A. L.
Everything was divine... Even the peanuts. Can't wait to go back! Should have taken some photos to show you guys.
Must try main: Char-grilled Sea bass. We ordered allot of food between our group and tested everyone's chosen dishes... We all agreed that this one was the best!
Must try drink: Peppercorn margarita... So moreish, smooth and like no other cocktail I have ever had.
Staff, friendly and tentative.
Decor modern yet timeless and classy.
Had a little dance in the toilets when no one was there... Couldn't resist the funky jazz playing and all the mirrors at every turn!
Haha ❤️
K. L.
Had an increasingly rare outstanding customer experience at Nopi. I normally don't ask the waiter for recommendations, but did this time and he was spot on. My favourite was the baked cheesecake which was something between a souffle and a cheesecake. Well recommended, also the beetroot and gorgonzola. Waiter was very helpful, attentive and friendly which made a nice change. Very cosy dining experience as well, we were on the ground floor with private tables, it wasn't too loud that we couldn't have a conversation. I didn't think it was that expensive either, I'll definitely come back!
T. C.
Great ambience.
Magical dishes. Myriad of middle eastern flavours and well paired wine list.
Probably my favourite ottolenghi restaurant in terms of interior design. Mix of my favourite materials.
Staff is versed in the ingredients and origin of dishes.
Very causal yet special.
S. G.
Loved this place. Beautiful surroundings are complemented by great food and drink. Most delicious food I've had in a long time. The radish appetizer was just divine. Make time to go here but book well in advance
A. C.
Even though the dishes were meant to be shared plates, the portion sizes were not really designed for it. We were a group of 4 and there would only be 3x pieces of eggplant or 3x pieces of scallops. Otherwise, food was good. If you want value for money, the other Ottolenghi restaurants are better.
C. P.
Very nice restaurant with lovely staff. They have menus with options free from nuts (and probably other allergens) which was great. Felt a little too cosy when you have a table with lots of people on though.
G. E.
Very laid back, a menu that promises a bit more than it delivers and surprisingly short by way of vegitarian dishes , especially given how many non meat recipes the man conjour up in his Guardian/Observer columns. Wines over priced and the three I tried were little better than passable.
Good atmosphere and excellent service , the staff know the dishes well
E. P.
Wonderful place for a casual (yet not cheap) meal. We had a lovely breakfast that consisted of special and tasty dishes, such as black rice cooked in coconut milk with banana and mango, or french toast with berry compot and orange yogurt. Every bite tells you that the best products have been incorporated into the dish. Highly recommended!
m. 2.
Amazing place and vibes, incredible food!
I loved all from this place, the food is really tasty and the service ia great. The place is lovely decorated (very cozy and friendly) and the loos are the best ones I've ever seen. It is an experience you don't wanna miss, it is worth the money ☺️
M. T.
Excellent food indeed. Excellent service at the bar. At some point one of the staff came over and asked whether we had booked the bar area or whether we had sat down there without being seated. She was not nice and disturbed a special occasion of catching up with a good friend. It was very rude and could have been checked with other staff without interrupting our evening and making us feel like walk ins intruding a busy restaurant.
I. D.
All it’s definitely in the name! And what a shame that is. Small portions at a high price. Some dishes absolutely beautiful while some others lacking any depth, texture and surprisingly flavour (i.e. the mackerel). The dessert menu was most surprisingly lacking and most of all no cheese plater on offer. Overall a disappointing experience.
G. W.
I've been fortunate enough to eat at a lot of excellent restaurants over the last 20 yrs & I would put Nopi right at the top of my favorite dining experiences. We had a table for 3 and shared 6 small plates...every single dish was thoughtfully crafted and delicious. Two of my favorites were the burrata with blood oranges and the valdeon cheesecake. We finished with two of the puddings: the chocolate pudding (amazing and rich) & the bitter rhubarb (with nice palate cleansing acidity). Service was attentive but not fussy.
An amazing experience. Next time we're in London the most difficult question is whether we come back to Nopi or try one of the other Ottolenghi restaurants (maybe both!).
R. M.
Faily pricy Ottolenghi restaurant. The dishes & flavours were fantastic
M. T.
Awesome food! We had some starters to share. All fantastic. The main meal was delicious! Nice wine selection too! 2nd time here, and definitely not the last
S. S.
Wonderful inventive food with Middle-Eastern spicing, especially good for vegetarians as there are lots of options. Interesting wine list, we had a carafe of wine from Bethlehem which went great with the gentle aromatic spice. Service was maybe a little over-friendly but I'd much rather that than rudeness or indifference. Thoroughly enjoyable well done Ottolenghi. Oh one more thing we found 4 sharing plates to be plenty for two people, they will gently push you to take 5 or 6.
А. З.
Top venue for taking a meal for fun and experience rather than quenching hunger. A little bit loud, but manageable
A. S.
Fantastic food. We sat on the bar as the reservation team thought we would be better there due to a big party downstairs. They were right and it felt very special to have so much attention given to us. Everything was faultless and every detail is paid attention to with style. Well done
C. L.
One of the best meals i've ever eaten. Price tag/portion size matches this but well worth it as a treat. Wonderful meze-like menu and great service
D. C.
Fantastic, flavousome food with a strong Middle Eastern/Mediterranean feel. It's not cheap but the sharing dishes give you the opportunity to sample a range of tastes. Strong veg options.
L. T.
Food had great flavors. Felt rushed though. They want yo get you in and out quickly. We ordered every starter for 6 and 3 entrees..more than enough...reservations a must.
D. T.
Everything on the menu sounded interesting and exciting. I wanted it all! The house red was a French blend that resembled a Burgundy and was excellent value for money. Can’t wait to come back. Dinner for two with wine was £130
C. P.
Wonderfull.
The food was great, which is ultimately why we all go. Thee staff, ambience, decor, etc are all great.
Drinks are perfectly made, and we tried a couple of different wines by the glass, which were both spot on.
This place has been on my list to try for a few years, and it did not disappoint.
H. K.
Great food, in particular the aubergine and polenta. Lovely atmosphere. Did feel rushed however as they needed table back after 90 mins. I understand you usually have a table for 2 hours and ours was an on the day booking.
A. B.
Very good service, very good food, plenty of interesting and delicious sharing combinations. Also the mains were good, arrived in a timely fashion despite the place being full. The atmosphere was very pleasant, even though the room is a bit loud. I will definetely go back.
M. W.
Most of the veggie dishes are delish but let down on meat, which was overcooked. Pleasant atmosphere even though it's clearly busy. All in all nice but at that price point I doubt I'll be coming back.
R. A.
Absolutely one of the best meals we've had this year. We had reservation issues a couple weeks back. The manager Pierre invited us back and we are glad we came! It lived up to the numerous positive reviews friends gave it, both for the food and the service there. Fantastic restaurant run by a great team.
J. “. G.
Overall an absolutely great experience and wonderful service once in. I would say roughly 60% of the to-share orders were truly inspiring and amazing, while the other 40% were just regular due to taste.
One bartender was outstanding in approach and accommodation!
The downstairs table sharing setting across from the open kitchen and bathroom is probably not to everyone's liking and if you were to expect a romantic evening for two, you would need to be specific when reserving to avoid this as it might not come up until you arrive. Due to this encounter just 4 stars, but I could conceive that a next visit with a proper table setting instead of bar seating options could clinch the 5 star rating.
J. J.
Overall enjoyable experience but I'd say the price point is a bit high for the quality of the food. It is delicious and interesting and presented like food worthy of the price point, but sometimes the taste fell just a notch short. In London I dare say you can find better fine dining experiences for value. We had six starters to share and a main each for a party of six. It was barely enough food portion-wise. Dishes I truly enjoyed were the cheesecake and the aubergine. The bathroom is worth a selfie.
H. F.
First came here a few years ago and fell in love with it. Found the menu had changed but still the same concept of small-/medium-sized sharing plates with, as you’d expect from Ottolenghi, really interesting but carefully chosen combinations of ingredients in every dish. The place always has a buzz to it, the service was friendly but unobtrusive, and it was a fair price for what is fantastic food. Highly recommend!
O. C.
Lunch here was excellent..imaginative dishes and amazing flavours
S. S.
Food was very good. I particularly enjoyed the cocktails and the fish!
D. L.
Amazing as always - beautiful flavours, elegant decor and interesting wine list. Everything I have ordered here has been wonderful. Recommend the burrata and the coffee and pecan financiers (freshly made to order). And the bathrooms are stunning also!
Q. J. M.
Very photographic area for amature and professional photographers alike. It's always busy here but if you manage to get there early before the meeting crowd arrives you can benifit greatly. The fountain was working and was catching the sunlight beautifully. The National Gallery standing proud begging to be the background drop for your photo. The big thumbs up giving you the ideal opportunity to capture some blue sky with cotton clouds drifting by. Very relaxing if you arrive early
L. B.
Staff were really friendly and helpful. We had a private table upstairs and it felt like a special occasion (although the bill was actually quite reasonable despite us attempting to eat as much of the menu as possible
T. G.
Incredible in every possible way. The service was amazing - helping us pick the perfect combo of dishes along the way. We had the Burrata, cauliflower, valdeon cheesecake, pork belly, and the mutton pastilla and each dish just kept getting better.
We had the baked ganache with the Nopi negroni for dessert which was the perfect way to top off the meal.
W.
Ohhh Nopi, my last dinner in London before I moved overseas. We sat at one of the beautiful tables downstairs and ate our way through half the menu. It was just too hard to pick between all the delicious sounding options. The service was wonderful and still to this day I cherish the memories of my farewell dinner.
O. L.
Beautiful healthy, tasty food in interesting visuals. The mirrored gold and white toilets are incredible. You walk past the kitchen to visit them. Observe the dedicated chefs.
R. M.
This place was perfectly adequate. But honestly I don't get the hype. The food was fine but everything lacked a bit of flavor. There was no punch to anything. It was a parade of tastefully arranged bland dishes. Again everything was perfectly adequate it just failed to distinguish itself in any meaningful way. After all the hype I'd heard it was a bit of a let down.
A. M.
Everything was AMAZING - each dish was well thought out with beautiful layers of flavour, delicious original cocktails (definitely recommend the Bombay Slap or coriander and ginger martini - not too sweet, or spiced, each delicate and tasty). Staff were very attentive, helpful and friendly. Also a great loo - mirrors like a Yayoi Kusama Installation!
A. S.
Really depends on what you order. First time I was here, the experience wasn’t great, had the vegetable dish that looked like they just farmed it out of the soil (a joke my mom made which was too true) went back again since my dad love this stuff, and I tell you wow that experience was so much better. Don’t remember much but I do remembering eating that octopus dish! So definitely get that and not the raw vegetable one
D. B.
Extraordinary food and service with reasonable prices.
J. L.
The staff, ambience and decor are spot on. Must admit though that I didn't really rate the food all that highly -- under-seasoned (other than the dessert (!) which had too much salt on it) and not as creative or flavoursome as I would expect for a restaurant of this repute and price bracket. Also, didn't really like their Volcanic wine offering. Sorry!
m. g.
Fantastic food and service... Staff went above and beyond to facilitate us with a lovely table on bank Holiday weekend. Food for sharing - all beautifully presented and a good wine list by the glass or bottle. Excellent spot for an evening with friends
T. C.
Second visit. Sat at the bar and had the lamb with polenta chips. A bit underwhelming to be honest.
C. S.
Wow. Just wow. This place has nailed flavours and just does not have a bad dish on the menu. Balanced, almost poetic food and very attentive service. Well done!
E. R.
Very nice restaurant with an enjoyable atmosphere. The food is very good, offering meat, fish, vegetables plates and a good list out desserts. Many dishes can be shared across the table. Service efficient and kind
K. G.
I visited Nopi for brunch and it was good - but not amazing. The place itself is beautiful, and the staff were really lovely, but I was a bit underwhelmed by the food. For starters, the breakfast menu isn't massive which put off my fellow diners a bit. I ordered the poached eggs on corn bread - the corn bread wasn't to my taste and the salad on the side was sadly rather soggy. It's a beautiful venue, so I'll probably be back at some point to see whether I just made a bad choice (- I hear the Shakshuka is super).
D. C.
My girlfriend took my here for my birthday and we both had a great time. We loved the food, the ambiance, and the friendly and unobtrusive wait staff! I liked the olive oil so much I bought a bottle to take home! Would recommend to anyone
A. W.
I like the whole sharing food concept. Good size portions. The chicken was delicious. They haven’t quite mastered Aperol Spritz as it wasn’t mixed correctly and I had to stir it with my fork as no stirrer available. I did ask. Trick is Prosecco in first!!
We sat downstairs on this occasion as I wanted to see the chefs working which is interesting but I prefer upstairs as it is brighter.
k. k.
We had dinner at NOPI for a party of two this Friday and just wanted to share our experience.
We found the staff being surprisingly pushy in terms of orders. First of all, after we ordered 3 different sharing dishes the waiter said “it really won’t be enough”. I found it quite offensive as my food preferences are my choice and following a strict diet I really don’t feel like justifying my choices to a staff at a restaurant. He told us the recommended portions beforehand, which is normal and we heard it so no point in repeating and insisting. He also added another comment once we were done asking us whether it was not enough. We also overheard the waiter saying the exact same phrase to a table next to us. Also, I feel like the waiter made it look like we ordered nibbles when we didn’t, you should really just give the menu to people and if they ask for help, provide it, not order for us and then try to charge for it. It’s a very surprising experience for a London restaurant and we were shocked that that was the case at a supposedly high end restaurant.
B. A.
Beautifully crafted small plates of Mediterranean food consists the majority of the lunch/dinner menu. A little pricey, but worth every pound for the fanatastic quality of the food, it's visual appeal, and the exciting metallic decor. Book in advance as seats are limited and the restaurant in high demand.
D. E.
We enjoyed the pre-theatre menu at Nopi and thoroughly enjoyed it. We also had a Palestinian wine which was super tasty. We were well attended to and warmly treatee throughout the experience. The only gripe I have is with the cost of the final bill..
P. J.
The food is delicious!!! We all kind of ordered different things and ate family style. I don’t think there is anything on that menu that would not taste amazing! And great hospitality from our waiter.
J. K.
Excellent as usual. Fantastic brunch of high quality food. Similar menu to his other locations, but more high-end in terms of decor and service. Although I normally get the Shakshuka this time I tried the Tofu Scramble based on our servers recommendation to change things up. It was good, but nothing like the Shakshuka :)
L. C.
The food was amazing, the service was first rate. We came here to celebrate my graduation and they made the perfect end to was had already been a special day. I would highly recommend Nopi to anyone.
D. S.
Lovely food, very exquisite and beautifully presented. There are tons of veggie options which is a nice change for more fancy restaurants which focus more on meat and seafood. Prices are higher as expected but not unreasonable given the service and quality.
M. H.
Good food & very good wait staff. Was a pleasant place for a Sunday brunch although we didn't realise brunch is only until 11:30 ( bit early to finish on a Sunday I think) so we were rushed to order. Otherwise good value for money & tasty food.
E. R.
It's calm, it's delicious, it's opulent. Lia was our server and was so much fun the whole time she made us feel like we were right back at home, but, getting served spectacular dishes and even more epic cocktails. Make sure you ask for Lia when you walk in! So much fun!
A. L.
Fantastic israeli focused cuisine delivering bright vibrant flavors. A fantastic spot for a gourmet lunch that didn't leave one feeling bloated but rather deeply satiated. Highly recommend if you are in London and looking for something a bit outside the normal.
N. G.
Served in enjoyably bustling venue tucked away behind Regent's Street (reservations essential if you're dining with more than one other person, even at 9am on a weekday), Nopi's shakshuka is justly praised. With a rich tomato and pepper sauce, perfectly poached eggs and delicious dollops of labneh, it's both comforting and wholesome. At £12 including grilled bread, it's also surprisingly reasonable, particularly in the West End.The only reason it gets 4 instead of 5 stars is purely because the portion sizes were a little inconsistent (my juice was about half the size of every other juice served as it was the last serving from that bottle, as opposed to a full/fresh bottle). Otherwise an excellent way to start the day.
L. M.
I had a fabulous time. We generally love everything Ottolenghi, Nopi didn't disappoint. Great interior, atmosphere, food.
A. Y.
Despite arriving on time, we had to wait for a table. However, nibbles were served on the hues and their assortment of spiced nuts was good. The menu for the night was leaning towards south East Asian cuisine and they executed their dishes rather well. Nicely flavoured, they reminded me of home. Their tahini and halva ice cream was definitely the highlight of the night. I was looking forward to more Mediterranean dishes but had a good evening nonetheless.
A. M.
Great food and wine, as expected. Really interesting combinations of exotic ingredients and flavours. Went for lunch at the downstairs room, get a table upstairs if you can and if you want a more private experience but the food is why you go.
D. O.
Lovely quiet place, with great food (especially the starters).
Multiple choices for cocktails and wines. The burnt butter old-fashioned would be my choice, but I am sure you will find something which suits you.
V. T.
We decided to try Nopi for my sister's birthday lunch on Dec 31st. What a wonderful, wonderful experience. I can't eat Gluten or Wheat and this presented absolutely no issues. I had a beautifully printed menu and the majority of dishes were suitable for me, meaning that we still had the 'sharing' experience for our first course. We absolutely went to town in terms of ordering; shared plates to start, main courses and desserts! The highlights: twice baked baby chicken small plate, halibut main course, the strawberry mess and the chocolate dessert. Wow. Cocktails were also lovely (try the Negroni) and although we didn't drink wine, the list was extensive.
It was lunchtime on New Year's Eve and so it became very busy. Towards the end the service was slow (but it was super busy) but our waiter was wonderful; very nice, full of good recommendations and kind enough to present my sister with a birthday sorbet compliments of the house (another unbelievably nice dessert!)
We booked through Toptable and the website said that the reservation was for 1.5 hours. However, we were there for nearly 3 hours which was perfect for us as we were loving savouring the experience.
It was an expensive meal BUT we had an enormous amount of food and a round of cocktails and actually came away feeling that it was incredibly good value.
We will definitely be going back!
T. A.
Delicious food and really great service.
C. R.
I was expecting something amazing when I saw such great reviews everywhere and ended up being a bit disappointed.
You absolutely have to book in advance and I would recommend staying upstairs as there is absolutely no day light otherwise.
It is this new kind of restaurant in London where you get a lot of small portions and share. The food is good, but all the meals we had (6people sharing, firsts, mains and sides) were missing that little something to be very good. Really nothing that would bring me back there.
The coconut icecream at the end had too much lemon grass (not written on the menu) and tasted like soap. That was quite bad.
Definitely not worth the price, that's for sure.
S. B.
Amazing food, great wine and superb service. Incredible flavours and a very varied menu. One of the best veggie menus I've seen!
J. K.
Excellent, fresh, inventive AND tasty. We had a fantastic birthday lunch for my wife's 50th. Everything from the Sumac Martini to the apple sorbet, via aubergines, octopus, baby goat and quail, was fantastic. The service was attentive and friendly without being intrusive - a special thank you to Huja!
C. H.
I am a huge fan of Ottolenghi's recipes so it pains me to report that in the two visits I have made to this restaurant, the food has been unmemorable and uninspiring. Nothing to remember or think about afterwards. The high prices and absolutely gorgeous surroundings give you such high expectations, but fine dining this is not.
K. K.
Ottolenghi did not disappoint. You can taste what you know from his super chefs books on youor own. unusual food, vegetables completely different. The salad table is just enough to see how it plays with colors and flavors. Beauty. Great.
K. A.
We had a breakfast this morning, ordered Skakshuka and scrambled eggs with Salmon aimg with flat white. Very surprised with the high rating. Compared to other restaurants in Londond the food was very average but very expensive. Definitely not going there again as other much better options are available.
A. F.
Was so looking forward to our evening at Nopi, but was sorely disappointed. The food was incredibly overpriced for both the quality and the quantity. Our group left hungry and with the overpowering taste of cardamom stuck in the back of our throats. The service was ok - our waiter was a bit frazzled, and forgot to notify us that one of the dishes we had ordered to share contained an allergen that we had notified him of.
D. L.
we went here on Saturday night and sat at the bar to eat. Absolutely Fantastic!! great food and really amazing service from the two bar tenders behind the bar. full of knowledge and suggestions about the menu. we would definitely recommend going here.
N. s.
Went there few weeks ago. Amazing foods and friendly staffs. The missing last star is for the quality of the coffee (a bit too bitter and came cold and after the food, due to the slow service) but beside this I would definitely go back there again.
C. E.
Delicious and different but wow I was stuffed with very little and would have liked to try a broader variety of food. We were a big group so restricted to a set menu - limited variety and would have liked more variety and smaller dishes.
a. r.
It's a must visit place for a casual banter with friends or family. The shared plates are delectable and the environment is so cozy. The restrooms we're quite an illusion being all mirrors . Nice quaint place for lunch/dinner.

Wow this place has the best food EVER so healthy I don’t feel heavy at all! Also - I just died and went to heaven having their raspberry ice cream too!! 5 star for sure.

Very nice restaurant, staff were friendly and efficient. Food was excellent, very enjoyable evening..

This is a great place to eat out, it does beautiful Mediterranean food both vegetarian and meat based. It is quite expensive but it is worth it I would recommend booking in advance. You can book downstairs which is great for groups or upstairs which is more your classical restaurant seating arrangement.

Delicious food and great cocktail menu. Best to go with lots of people so you can share plates and taste selection of dishes. Don't forget to visit the bathrooms downstairs, they are trippy.

Lovely place, incredible bathroom, wonderful food and service- favorite dish was actually the crudite.. simply done but with delightful black sea salt and avocado smash. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area!

Just delicious! I had been looking forward to going here for years, and it lived up to expectations. Staff were very helpful and even shared some of the recipe secrets

Excellent quality of food. Staff polite and efficient. There were six of us for breakfast and we all had something different and all were good. Prices are a bit high.

Staff lovely and helpfull..and food is interesting and wine was amasing Terrano red.

First fine dining experience, the communal eating area was very chilled. The kitchen is open so you can see them cooking, amazing food worth the price.

Fantastic experience

Great place esp down stairs at the two communal tables and with the open kitchen on view. Great variety of tasty small plates, ok wines, good Fino. Interesting too see all the staff eating at two thirty, tucking into the leftovers. Mmmmm...I wanna do that next time!!!

I found the service friendly and accomodating and the food was delicious. The restaurant is of the small-dishes-to-share variety, which makes it a little more expensive overall. I like the Hainanese chicken rice inspired chicken , cheesecake, salads. I liked the burrata but felt it was more expensive than what it was.

Had breakfast-
1. Shakshuka - The best shakshuka I have ever had and I would go back just for this
2. Arepas with pork belly - Disappointing, the pork belly texture and taste was poor and serving was tiny. The arepas were nice but then there was only one egg so was quite a light dish.

I've been to NOPI several times, morning and evening, and it never fails to deliver the most flavoursome food, in the most comfortable surroundings, and not outrageously expensive either. As a vegetarian I'm spoiled for choice from the amazing menu; the wine is superb. Like all of Ottolenghi's ventures, this is top stuff; love it.

Hype is justified. Had 2 starters for myself at lunch time. The chicken was especially well cooked, crispy outside, juicy inside and paired well with the salt better than the chilli sauce. Be prepared to pay a premium as portions are not large, but it will not disappoint.

The food is absolutely delicious and relatively well priced. While the upstairs may be a hard table to get, the basement has the same menu and is actually a pretty cool setting with views of the kitchen.

Great food, no wrong choices in the menu everything is good. Make sure you try the chicken, it's amazing ! Super friendly staff too :) Will come back

Gorgeous restaurant! Beautiful interior, amazing staff and delicious food!!!

We have the NOPI cookbook so decided to try the real deal - we weren't disappointed! Even though we just had breakfast, it was DELICIOUS! The service and atmosphere were quite nice too - would love to return for dinner.

We loved NOPI when we visited in February and so it was a priority booking when we were back in London over the Easter weekend. The food was undeniably excellent again and for a vegetarian it's a real pleasure to experience the complexity of flavours in Ottolenghi's recipes. The care taken in each dish is wonderful. My only disappointment was that the menu had barely changed in 6 weeks meaning the vegetarian main course was exactly the same. With such an unchanging menu do the owners want or expect repeat visits?

We were given a voucher as a gift and had the best time! The food, staff (the young girl from Melbourne was so particularly fantastic!) and atmosphere of the restaurant was outstanding and we will be back!

Amazing food! Highly recommend the octopusz the mackerel , the short rib and the polenta chips. The nopi negronis are spectacular, tasting of hints of aniseed on top of the classic negroni flavour.
Would definitely return in a heart beat. :)

middle eastern tapas style restaurant is what this place is about so if you are not up for that - do not attend! we had some delicious salads and hummus and little pieces to share. the desserts are also very luxurious and tasty. more flavour than most british food will provide - definitely a favourite of mine.
M. K.
wouldn't expect anything less from Ottolenghi, absolutely amazing. Light and delicious food, great cocktails and wine

I love the menu, the surroundings and the atmosphere here. Great for any meal of the day, but fantastic in the evening. Sharing dishes or mains to suit a couple or small group.
C. E.
Great food, fabulous service, great ambiance...portion sizes were a bit skimpy for the price...we ordered a 'whole' chicken to share amongst 4 people...the 'chicken' was barely larger than a Cornish hen for 26 quid...otherwise the quality and flavour of all of our dishes were superb...

Restaurant is beautiful and service impeccable. Went for brunch and I will surely go back for supper. Had the shakshuka with a side of sausage and a carrot/apple juice. Everything was delicious. Their bread is incredible.

Amazing experience, very friendly and attentive staff. Incredible food with great flavours. Quite high prices but good for a treat!

My favorite restaurant in my last visit to London. Very lively and busy so definitely need a reservation. Lots of interesting vegetarian and vegan options. Also nice drinks menu.

Much ado about mediocrity. 2 of 6 small plates were very good. Other 4 lacked anything to recommend them. Dessert not good either. Service is good. Setting is Spartan but fine. Skip this.

Extremely Tasty and was really cooked with Love.
we tried 3 Starters and was enough for two persons
Highly Recommand its worth to Try this Crazy Mix of Spices loved it

Amazing food and service!! We were also asked before ordering if we have any allergies! Perfect!! Will come back again for having dinner!

A thoroughly enjoyable meal,so many incredible flavours and you can taste the quality, attention to detail and passion in every mouthful. Shame about the service,it was functional at best which is disappointing given previous experiences at Ottolenghi branches. I can understand some people grumbling over prices, perhaps one or two dishes were a little on the expensive side but I think the level of cooking skill on show makes it worth it.
N. W.
Go with a couple of friends so you can share more different plates. All the starters we had were super intense combinations of flavours, all different but incredibly tasty. They looked small but two starters per person were actually plenty.
B. K.
The plates and the room were beautiful. Excellent ingredients in mostly simple preparations. The small-plate concept leaves you wanting more of the best dishes (and sometimes wishing you could trade in a less interesting dish for another of one you enjoyed more). The burrata, iberica pork carpaccio, and broccolini were our favorites. Overall, good but not great.
V. D.
Some really creative dishes and well worth booking a reservation (which you will need). Food is amazing and delicious.

Fresh, innovative, delicious Mediterranean fusion. Incredibly cool vibe in a very stylish setting. Atmosphere was more typical of a hip NYC restaurant than typical London. Noisy, fun, and sexy.
Particularly loved the peaches and burrata. Even the crudite was paired with innovative flavors. Delicious cocktails and a very interesting wine-list to boot.
B. M.
Excellent food and wine. Atmosphere and service are exquisite.
J. S.
Delicious! Food was inventive without being over the top or too heavy. Drink list was fun and comprehensive as well... definitely need a reservation.
food: A+
service: A
ambiance: B+

After about 10 meals here still top top quality. Natural wine and food by the legendary Israeli. The breakfast is also great and less expensive than lunch or dinner.
V. H.
A limited number of small dishes to share that are well executed and served with a smile. The wine list is also reduced to a minimum of flavourful "southern" wines, but with pretty high markups.
R. N.
Me and my girlfriend went for a dinner yesterday night and everything was perfect. The cocktails the wine the food and the service of course. I would recommend it to everyone.
M. A.
Every dish I had was the best until I had the next one. Their food is delicious, their service and ambiance were spot on, and their creativity was delightful. The food was stimulating in a unadventurous way.
M. F.
Very nice Mediterranean food is served at this place . The prices are reasonable, the staff is highly professional and friendly and the service is prompt and punctual all the time. Highly recommended.
S.
Great atmosphere and amazing food.
Ideal for weekend brunch (traditional breakfast dishes, but lighter and with a Middle Eastern twist) or lunch break from shopping on nearby Regent Street. Staff are super helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, always ready to make recommendations according to taste and diet.
Reservations recommended for 3+ persons; but we've always managed to get a table for 2-3 persons without. For bigger parties, there are larger communal tables on the lower level.
We had the twice cooked chicken and hake in banana leaf, accompanied by broccoli and polenta chips, then lychee sorbet and popcorn ice cream to finish. Best meal of the month.

If you like creativity meeting elegance and available and 'guest-friendly fine dining', this is your place. From the design till the service, from the champagne till the best duck I've ever had. My new favourite place!
