Dined in the Asian side of the restaurant - The restaurant decor is nice and has an intimate feel to it. The presentation of food ingredients is also nice seeing all the colours of seafood and vegetables. The staff are helpful and always wizzing around. The food was nice and the portion sizes are very much decent👍🏼 although the egg fried rice was not nice tasting. I would be interested to try the Italian side of the restaurant to see the taste of the dishes there are like.

Dined in the Italian restaurant for a special birthday. Definitely not cheap and the tables were too close together but otherwise everything is perfect. Service was great, food delicious, portions generous. The candle in our desert and singing from the staff was a super nice touch too.

The food was very good especially the duck salad. We had a mixture of lots of different dishes which we shared before 4 of us. The king crab leg was very overpriced so wouldn’t bother with that again! The service was also very good. It’s not cheap and there is a minimum spend per person.

Went to Novikov for my friends birthday and overall, I would have to give the evening a 8/10. Decided to dine at the Asian side of the restaurant so we made a reservation in advance. Staff were friendly upon check-in and we were immediately seated at our table. They also serve halal food which are all highlighted on the menu! Our waiter was super nice, who instantly offered us a drink while we decided on the mains. He took his time to explain some of the dishes and engaged in friendly conversations with us. Made us feel extremely welcomed so service for the night was 10/10. Ordered chicken tacos and chicken dim sum for starters and lamb cutlets for the main course. All dishes were super tasty, honestly can’t complain about it but on the pricey side for sure so an 8/10. It was definitely packed out for the night so better to book in advance and the music might have been a bit too loud but nevertheless, a pleasant experience!

To be honest I had mixed emotions about this restaurant which I visited this week. The food was ok I’d definitely recommend trying the sushis here and the small plate tacos are delicious! However, the service was below average; don’t get me wrong the food came very quick and was all hot but there was no sense of privacy on a Tuesday night there were two couples basically arm to arm with us on the tables beside so as the website stated ‘tables will be separated due to covid’ did not mean a thing. The waitresses themselves were very blunt and maybe we just went on the wrong day but It was a nice experience I’d just never go again.

While waiting for our food they gave us a cup of soup, bread and breadsticks; we made a bit of mess with the crumbs but the waiters came and cleared it with this metal crumb remover (#fancy). Starter: TAGLIOLINI WITH SLOW COOKED TOMATO FROM GRANANO AND SHEEP RICOTTA Main: TONNARELLI WITH VEAL RAGOUT - This didnt look the best but tasted fantastic Desert: TIRAMISU - no complaints at all, you have to try this!!!! I would definitely go here again - this is the best service I have received so far! I was definitely full when I left. They try to make sure the food is as fresh as possible. They had a display of all the vegetables and fish; the colours were amazing. The restaurant is beautiful inside - there are trees in big plant pots, sky lights and candle chandeliers. Getting the set lunch menu meant it was really quiet when we went - I believe it gets quite busy in the evenings. Also Drake was dining in the private dining room next to us! I went to Novikov for my birthday. It is a luxurious restaurant which divided into two dining rooms, the Asian side and the Italian side. I went to the Asian side. Food was ok, nothing special, portions were pretty small. Quite a few dishes were halal. The service was amazing, especially the attention to detail. Our waiter ‘Lorenzo’ was fabulous, his service was amazing (his singing skills pretty good as well). I would definitely recommend Novikov but be prepared to pay the price.

Novikov is one of the well known fine dining Russian restaurants in London .. where all famous people meet together, The restaurant has two sections: The Asian section is kind of a dark place that serve noodles or sushi but and a lot of people prefer it over the other section. The Italian section is well lighted and decorated.. we had our dinner here started by the restaurant appetizer with some locally baked bread served with something similar like aubergine sauce and we ordered the truffle pizza and was delicious with a crab pasta but it’s looked like Tuna Pasta Also for drinks they have a variety of fresh juices alongside with soft drinks and we ordered a fresh pineapple 🍍 juice and it has a refreshing taste 🤤

Fantastic food, exceptional quality and excellent presentation. There's a good amount of variety in the menu too. The only thing that was a let down was the service - it just wasn't up to standard on the level of personal service you expect from restaurants at this level, when you're paying this much.

This place isn't that great. The food we ordered, some of the dishes were very tasteless such as the Baby Chicken, and the Beef and Black Pepper dish wasn't that good. The sushi was nice, but I've had better in places like Chai Wu. The baby squid was decent. The service was excellent and the food came very quickly. Mocktails are very expensive (£14) so we didn't order these. Most of the menu is Halal. But considering the price (£300 for 2), I dont think I'll be visiting again

Made reservation to make sure we got a table in the pan Asian restaurant. They had halal food labelled on the menu. Ordered the chile fillet steak which was the best I had ever had. The tenderness, cut and taste were perfect. Sweet and sour Chicken with rice, shrimp and Dim Sum were tasty and complemented well as starters. Mocktails were as good as ones we had in Dubai. Service and atmosphere was great. Yes it’s pricey but worth it as one-off for special occasion.

It is a luxurious restaurant divided into two dining rooms. The Asian side cooking and the Italian side cooking. I had dinner in the Italian side and I enjoyed all the courses very much. It's like being in a restaurant in Rome or Milan. All the products are fresh, "Italian" and delicious. All the staff are very professional. One of the famous restaurant is london. There are 2 area of restaurants inside of the entrance. The decoration is festive and flower. The food quality is a lower than their price. The whole dover sole is still coming with the skin after they take of the bone. The service is also under their price. If you want to try this restaurant Don’t expect their service too much.

Now, where do I start, absolutely wonderful experience dining at Novikov. The restaurant has an Italian themed area, Pan Asian and Bar/lounge. We opted for the Italian and were immediately greeted by the hostess who kindly showed us to the table. They are very meticulous on ensuring complete satisfaction from taking coats and answering questions going above and beyond. What’s also v.important to note, there are a large variety of dishes that are HALAL and clearly marked in the menu, the waiters are happy to reconfirm with the kitchen. I tried the Salmon Tartare, risotto, corn fed chicken and panne cotta for dessert, could not fault any of the dishes other than asking if the portions could have been a little larger. It’s not entirely cheap to be put it nicely and perhaps-reserved to special occasions only. Will next time try the Asian style theme!

Elite customer service, all waiters were super attentive and made the dining experience superb. The selection of food is wide and diverse and we had a great time exploring the different dishes. Our favourites were the spiced chicken buns and the lamb cutlets.

Been to restaurant yesturday. Had to wait a bit for the table even that we had booked time but its understanding. Staff were great, very friendly. Space around the table were very small, felt uncomfortable, could not enjoy the atmosphere much simply could not move mu chair back feelt strangled. ( not enough space), to many people in small space. Food. Presentation of the food was fine but not with wow effect. I dont know why but meat tacos were with so much salt, I felt like I am eating just salt. Dish of the day also had to much salt yuck. Few other dishes also. I just dont think it worth the price. There is so many different souces to keep it salty, why adding so much salt. I didnt really enjoy that much. It was first experience in this restaurant. Need to ask Ramsey to come and check them up. Also no side table for drinks, table small and felt like waiters rushing you to finish your food. First fish on a photo were great.best dish no salty great taste. Egg fried rice had to much of other staff in, so not everything is written match exactly what you imagined you will get. Toilets were a bit dirty. Security people were helping chefs its a bit odd, plus they help write next to the toilet it's really odd. Over all I dont think its a place I would go again, may try Italian cuisine there, maybe its better. I know few other lovely restaurants with Michelin star I would go there instead.

Attended a project completion dinner which was fabulous!!! Great food and location. A1 standard of service. I was there on a Tuesday evening and it was very, very busy. The only thing I would say is if you're looking for a quiet dinner with some favourite people this probably isn't for you. Later on there was more of a club atmosphere.

If anyone is telling you Novikov is the best Asian cuisine they’ve had - they’re trying to mask the pain with the price they paid! Unfortunately I took a video of the majority of the food so I don’t have many pics. Wagyu tacos - awful Prawn tempura + avocado sushi- very nice Chicken (with black bean sauce) - average Egg fried rice - very average The vibes are nice, the settings are nice, but the food was painful. The sushi was fantastic, the rest was poor.

I visited the Italian part of this restaurant and had a good time. The atmosphere was really great with friendly staff. Very pricey, but the menu was versatile and the food was good. The dessert however was the highlight of the night! I ordered the Rocher Hazelnut dessert - it tasted amazing and it might be the most delicious dessert I've ever tasted!

Probably the best Japanese cuisine experience I've ever had. Food was exceptionally nice. Really enjoyed everything especially the sushi, mocktails, steak and desserts. Customer service was very good also, staff were very friendly and respectful. They are polite and check up on you regularly. Food is halal and meat quality is good, very delicious. The sushi tasted amazing, looked and tasted like a lot of effort was made to make these. Regarding price, it was quite pricey, our bill for 2 came out quite expensive. I'd definitely return for a special occasion only, but it is definitely worth it.

Easily accessible by road and rail. This review is for Novikov Asian. Allegedly they have a strict dress code but maybe this is only enforced in the evening, I went for a late lunch and although I dressed up, I saw many diners in dirty trainers and jeans. The staff at the door had a bit of attitude and were a bit brusque but the staff at the table were lovely. Cocktails were very nice, both virgin and alcoholic were well presented and beautifully balanced. The food is a triumph! Delicious fresh seafood, seasoned just right and cooked to perfection. The vegetable Singapore Noodles were the best I've ever had. The star of the show for me was the Piña Colada cheesecake, I'd go back for that alone, every element was glorious from the tiny cubes of Malibu coconut jelly to the tart, exotic, fruity centre which complimented the creamy cheesecake. The biscuit base was crunchy and harmonised with all the other textures on the plate. Yes it is a wee bit on the pricey side but well worth it.

We are not the type of people that stay more then 60 minutes 90 max an a restaurant - but they give you feeling that they want you to go away at the second you furnished main course and don’t dear to ask for dessert.

Went there with my mate to see what the hype was all about and first impression the decor and atmosphere were really nice. We decided to go for the Asian menu rather than the Italian one. We were given a table opposite the market which was really nice especially when you see the staff picking up fresh produce like fresh lobsters , vegetables etc to take to the kitchen which was very reassuring knowing that you are being fed the best of produce. We ordered an assortment of dishes to share and they were all delicious. The tempura prawns had the lightest batter and the prawns were soft and juicy. The sushi were the best we ever tasted. We had panacotta and profiteroles with vanilla sauce as desserts and they were really delicious. The service was really good. The menu is a bit pricey but it was really worth it given that you get fresh produce in all your dishes and top service. We will definitely go back there for another occasion like birthdays etc which is really worth it.

(Asian cuisine) Only management should stop staring and pointing fingers at customers, this did not give us a pleasant or welcoming feeling. 😒 We were not regulars, first timers because we live abroad. It's such a shame we went for friends special birthday celebrations...for an exciting experience and we got far from that.....my friend asked for gluten free and was only offered veg??? Even though we were told Tofu was ok? We got our food at different times...and didnt eat together my food came in sporadic and when I finally got my main the rest of my food was cold??? Ky friend ended up eating only boiled rice and mixed veg....for around 80.00 per head...its autrocious we couldn't let her pay.....food was tasty though and dessert was also nice....cocktails too strong and too sweet....and not blended together properly?? Shame about the service...as ambience and atmosphere was good.....but very very disappointing especially if you are celebrating something special please dont bother to waste your money and time.....

As much as I love Italian food I was quite disappointed when going for dinner here. It is a well-known Restaurant in London filled with an array of high clientele to young adults, dressing up from head to toe and can spend without a care of the bank balance the next morning. My disappointment though came with the food. There was a whole presentation of the pasta I requested where the waiter put in a big tub of cheese. However, from waiting and watching this being mad, as soon as I took a bite of the food, it was cold. not pleasant and there was chunks of cheese around the plate. I may venture out again and give Novikov another go but i do wish to enjoy the food being hot as soon as it is placed on the table.

This place is fantastic! Mainly because of the standard of food from the brilliant chefs and service from Alexander in the Asian restaurant. The vibe and ambience coupled with the outstanding food was mesmerising. Unfortunately the reservations department really let us down, hence why 4 stars and not 5. Some disgusting attitude and ego from Andreas who just wasn’t very understanding or accommodating.

Very good Japanese food although extremely expensive but it goes with the territory - possibly too expensive if just going for the food but possibly justifiable if you want to oogle at the typical clientele . Beautiful restaurant that gives a beautiful experience everything. A lovely place to entertain or treat a special person. But be warned, prices are very high...I guess you pay for the total experience that comes with. Be prepared to spend easily, 200 quid for two people with just a cocktail, starters and main.... But still, fab place to celebrate special moments. After your meal, head down to the bar/club below. Really cool... If a tad extra loud, but nothing you can't bear with for a little while...

Amazing dim sum and sushi for the ones we were allowed to order and the roast duck was Wonderful. Went to celebrate my boyfriends 25th and he seemed to enjoy the food. The kimchi rice is enough for two to share - we couldn't finish it in the end sadly! Furthermore our waiter was very attentive, even though there was a lot happening at the same time - mostly of accidents by the restaurant goers around us. However I have a mild allergy to hazelnuts so when they said some stuff may have nuts/peanuts I wasn't allowed to order it due to 'restaurant policy'. I understand the safety of their concern but I am okay with traces as well as any other type of nuts like peanuts so I was a little disappointed because I wanted to try the spicy prawn moneybags. Also, skip the dessert, the tiramisu was too strong and not light enough.

This is an excellent location for a family-style gathering. To have a meal with friends and family. All of their plates are served family style, which means that all of the portions are served on one large serving plate and each person serves themselves as they would at home on a good old Sunday dinner.

However for my anniversary meal the service was impeccable, our table server was well acquainted with all the dishes we had questions regarding and advised according to our tastes, all staff were very friendly. FYI: Online menus are not currently accurate. The in house menu has changed slightly with new additions which made choosing alot harder such as the addition of Laksa rather than my standard Tom Yum. Novikov is one of the finest restaurants in London. The service is great, the food is fabulous, the surroundings and atmosphere are amazing. There are two sections in Novikov, Italian and Asian. The great thing is that both the Asian and Italian sections accommodate dietary requirements. Whether Vegan, vegetarian or Halal! Parking can be a little bit tricky, but the doormen can provide a valet service.

Novikov is one such place, yes you have your Cipriani's (now C London), your Scalini's and your Signor Sassi's, but Novikov is just that much better! From the atmosphere to the decor, the service and the food, they seldom put a foot wrong. I would say I have tried almost all of the dishes on offer here and they have always been consistently excellent. A firm favourite of my Middle Eastern clients, during the summer months rarely a week goes by without me visiting at least once but I never tire of the place. If Italian food is your thing, do not settle for anything less. Equally, their Asian restaurant is in a league of its own.

Must try the Sea Food counter where you can grab pick of the day. These items are not on the menu so don't miss out. As mentioned before food was okay but the price just does not justify eg a medium 🦞 Lobster elsewhere costs £60-£80s but here they charged us £237. Seafood items mainly come from Portugal. We opted for the dessert platter which did not disappoint, plenty there for everyones tastes and the waiters even sang Happy birthday for our friend for whom the dinner was for. There is a minimum charge of £50 per head so be aware if you do go. It's worth a visit.

A iconic London restaurant in the heart of Mayfair. The restaurant has 3 levels: Level 1 - Ground Floor (Asian): Asian fusion style food with a great selection of sushi, tempura, fish and meat dishes. Level 2 - Downstairs (Italian): Although underground a great atmosphere with an amazing wine selection and a large Italian menu. The pastas are my personal favourite but the meat dishes are also great. Level 3 - Basement (Lounge): Underground bar with comfortable seating. Not the best bar in the area and doesn’t compare to the quality of the restaurants. Always book far in advance as both restaurant are always busy. Expensive of course but you are paying for the atmosphere, service and the food. The Italian is my favourite!

We went to the Asian part of the restaurant. Exceptional attentive service and great food that was served quickly as well. Nice vibe as well, and quite busy for a Tuesday night. Order off the menu or select from the market where they will cook your order to your liking. The A La Carte menu is very expansive with a wide selection of Japanese and Chinese influenced food as well as options between meat, seafood and vegetables. Minimum spend of £75 per person. Well worth a visit.

Give it 3 stars due to the lack of knowledge out waiter had around the vegetarian and vegan menu. He thought a dish wasn't vegetarian because it had butter which didn't make sense to me so asked for the manager to explained the dish actually contained cow rennet which isn't vegetarian so not just was he wrong about why it wasn't vegetarian but if I had gone on his reason and ordered the dish I'd have eaten meat. I am a vegetarian so it's important to me that any restaurant I go to the waiters/waitresses know what they are serving. That aside the rest of the evening was good, wine was lovely but food was average. Wouldn't go again if I'm honest. It's a bit overrated for my liking.

The food was lovely but somewhat overpriced, the service left a lot to be desired, I must say I was left underwhelmed by the experience of dining here. Novikov has two sections, the Asian section and the Italian section, we dined as a group of 4 in the Asian section. There was an extensive menu and everything we ordered was great which seems to suggest a high level of quality in the kitchen. The sushi and dumplings were especially great. That said there is certainly a premium applied to the price as I've had just as good food elsewhere for cheaper. This is more of a location for younger people, it felt as though the patrons on the night were a little bit of the poseur variety. The staff member who attended to our party was accommodating but wasn't overly welcoming and it felt as though they were slightly preoccupied with other things and was overly keen on getting us to order. We had to ask for more time twice! In addition to this when we left we were advised by one member of staff to use the exit at the back but as we did so another member of staff told us that we shouldn't use that exit and was visibly annoyed when we told him that we were advised to! More work required on the hospitality side of things. My advice, if you like Japanese food go to the much higher quality Sake No Hana.

Glamorous setting with flowers on the table for show which were quickly removed as we sat down (4 people). Already looked at the menu before hand and was very happy with the brushetta anti pasti which. Crunchy bread and fresh tomatoes our table servant was kind and swift. Making good wine recommendations.Lovely cocktail also on recommendation. Was also very happy with our ribeye steak which came out medium rare and complimented nicely with the delicious caramelized onions. Moving on to i might have to say one of the best desserts I have had the Profiterolls were a delicious mix of the crunchy nut on the side with 3 relaxed soft textured filled profiterolls ONE TO TRY! amazing. Coming on to our coffees I heard our sommelier talking to our it must have been the floor manager that we had been there for a long time and that we should start moving a long quicker. Had to say something but did not get an apology. It was a busy night but when your spending more than half a grand on 4 people i think we should be allowed to take our time, Another thing with the service was I did not feel as if I was eating at the restaurant walking through to go to the bathroom. The table servers would walk past infront of you not say anything and generally did not get the curtesy that one would expect. Lovely food overall but i felt It was not so much of a boutique style restaurant but more of a "new money" glitzy show off restaurant. Still something special with some letdowns.

This is my 2nd visit to this restaurant. First visit we went to the Italian Restaurant and the food was AMAZING and the service was incredible. Tonight’s visit was in the Asian restaurant, the food absolutely delicious done to a high standard but the service was slightly disappointing and surprising. It felt like we were the missed ones. It took a while to order, waiter wasn’t too friendly. Food came quickly which was nice but we both felt like we got a cold shoulder from the waiter which wasn’t too nice hence why you’ve lost a star from me sadly.

One of the best things about Novikov is that most of the meats are halal. As a Muslim, that's a huge bonus. Usually high end restaurants don't cater for halal meat eaters. Of course Novikov is expensive, but it is well worth it.

Because it's so busy there is a tendency to book you into start and finish time slots so if you turn up late you are likely to feel hurried. If you can avoid the busy hours you will have a more relaxed time. Everything on the menu was fabulous. Highly Recommended!!

Maybe I just got very unclucky, but the staff seemed really sloppy. Someone dropped a whole load of plates, which was the first thing. But then as I was leaving I saw a waiter rushing and tripped at the strairs dropping pizza on the floor. The staff that look after the tables/customers, were friendly and helpful. The food was great quality, butthe taste was good for some dishes, but too salty for others. Overall an ok experience, but not what I was expecting.

I’ve only eaten at the Italian about 3 times, it was brilliantly excellent on all 3 occasions. I would give the lunch time 5 stars, only because the evening feels a bit rushed, they want you in and out in 2 hours which I find annoying, especially when you can spend anywhere up to £600 for two, depending on the wine you order. Lunch time is nice and relaxed but the quality of the ingredients are second to none and cooked to perfection both lunch and dinner. The service is excellent too.

I celebrated my birthday last night at the Asian restaurant and the way I and my family was treated was just lovely. The hospitality and treatment was an experience, very warm and friendly staff. I really impressed with the service and staffs passion for their job, one lady almost seemed like a on call nanny the way she helped my little cousin cut her food in her plate and also placed the napkin on her lap. It was the first I and my family had received a service as such. The food is quite pricey but worth it and did fill us up. No issue at all even though we was worrying going here but it was wonderful. First impressions is very important thank you for such a special birthday.

I dined in the Asian section and it was fantastic. The sushi was very high quality and tasted on point. The mains were very good with good amount of food for what you pay for. There were a lot of different options and very easy to look for diet specific food e.g halal and nut allergies etc. It was a nice night and was able to enjoy the meal in comfort and leaving very full. Only issues would be finding parking if you drive there otherwise it's not too hard to find.

Drinks wise ordered a cocktail in the lounge and ordered the same in the restaurant which came in a much smaller glass? Be prepared to work up a bill with the prices. Service was OK
