Been there for the first time, though I’ve seen Oodles around few places around East London. Place looked clean, decor is decent, reasonably priced, menu wasn’t too complicated, service was decent, I think I enjoyed it so will go there again and try something different. Highly recommended

Me and my colleagues were craving for this! We went after work with great excitement. We weren’t disappointed! I got spicy fries with Manchurian chicken and crispy chicken!

I'm not too sure why it says Chinese on there sign as it tasted nothing like Chinese. Don't get me wrong the food was nice! But not great! It tasted more Asian food if anything. The chicken was a bit hard. Polite staff and clean shop. Nothing really to complain about.

Unfortunately prioritising online orders. 25 minute wait for 3 items. All items were already prepared (you can see behind the glass counter). Only plain chips needed to be fried. There were enough staff so it's just how they operate. About 20-30 delivery drivers passed through and got their orders in the time I was waiting. Even when I was chasing it up a couple of times there was no urgency. I guess you avoid going at peak time. I can't fault the food however. It was hot and tasty and good portions. Would be 5 stars with better service.

I am new in UK and was craving for some desi style Chinese food, Ordered a large box with kung Pao chicken, singaporean rice, vegi noodles and sweet and sour chicken. Everything was good except noodles which were more like plastic, maybe i should have ordered chowmein instead. Will give them another try soon. I recommend everyone to give them a try.

Seems a bit overpriced for what it is. I ordered the caramel chicken and there were so many sesame seeds it was almost inedible. The noodles itself were nice and the shop itself was clean and tidy.

This new HMC certified Chinese is better than anything I've tried before. I visited this restaurant on it's second day after opening and got myself 2 large boxes to take away. All their chicken items were delicious and tasty. If you can handle extreme spices than do go for their Malaysian chicken as it was really spicy and I really enjoyed it. I understand it's a new restaurant and they prepare all their food fresh but the waiting time was really long and tiring. I had to wait just over an hour to get my take away. I hope the waiting time improves as I will be going there often. They only accept cash payment, hopefully they'll start accepting card payments soon. Overall, I think it's a great place to get some mouth watering HMC certified Chinese.

So we went to @oodles_chinese at Walthamstow today with my girls and her grandmum. To my surprise. The boxes they have look really small at the beginning. But it's hard to finish it all.. The portion is pretty good. I ordered two boxes and ordered my own choices. Everything tasted really good. My favourite were crispy fried chicken, chilli jalfrezi and spicy chicken wings. The staff was welcoming and they let me taste everything before ordering. I love Chinese food and I will also recommend this place to Chinese lovers. The only thing that I don't like.. They put saucy chicken oon too of chips. Which makes them really soggy. But I asked them to replace the chips and the request was accepted.. They replaces and give fresh portion of chips... Which I really appreciate. It's 8/10.. Everything cost me 15.90 pounds including drinks and extra side portion

Nothing special ... to be honest I was quite disappointed, I was expecting nice street Chineese food but unfortunately... Crispy Prawns was not crispy at all it was soggy, sprinkle with sesame seeds and quite interesting consistence I think food is overpriced and not worth for money.

Absolutely amazing visit and service from Harlow and her team! I tried a few sides from the menu (the prawns and wings being my absolute favourite) and tried two different combinations of boxes. One had udon noodles as a base and the other had egg fried rice. For my toppings I tried the chilli chicken, chilli prawns, crispy prawns and also the beef stir fry. Amazed at how good both the prawn toppings tasted and I really like the udon noodles too. The egg fried rice complimented the chilli prawns so well. Will definitely be up for revisiting. A massive thank you to Oodles Walthamstow for the amazing food and to Harlow for her hospitality!

Great tasting food, friendly staff and good value. We ordered 3 large boxes which included a variety of dishes. The beef and chicken were good quality. The dishes had lots of flavour and the portions were generous. Waiting time was about 12 minutes but that is understandable as they were very busy. All the best to the team. Keep up the good work.

Ok halal Chinese food, it's not too greasy and doesn't feel unhealthy but found the food lacking in taste. Maybe the branch. Shame was really hoping for a lot more. Will try the Tooting branch at some point to verify if it's just this branch.

2.5 / 5 Mixed opinions. Got some large box and small box meals and the amount of meat in the large is the same as it is in the small. The only thing the large has more of is rice. People giving one or two star reviews based on the opening day is ridiculous. This food outlet is an asset to the local area. Absolutely delicious tasting fresh food at more than reasonable prices. I am so glad to have this place not to far from my home. A lovely treat and will be back again soon.

Good food for a cheap price. The idea is simple, choose from a base of rice or noodles and add a couple of chicken dishes on top. The place is clean, service was friendly and quick. The Singapore rice is super hot. You have been warned! We will definitely be back. Don't come here expecting Michelin star quality for these prices you're just stupid if you do.

You can see the one and two star reviews are of people who either turned up opening day or could not get parking. Like any new business it needs time to settle in and if you want to go back? you should offer feedback to the business owner not talk about their failures. It is way to easy to now go online and leave negative reviews. I tried some of their noodles today who was bought by my daughter for me to taste.I can say the noodles where well cooked, chicken was fresh, packaging and branding was great. Already planning a trip with the whole family. Come on people, if you cannot help anyone, then at least do not harm them either for at least trying.

So I went there yesterday, I live in palmers green so it was a bit of a trek but its the nearest oodles to me. I ordered 3 large boxes and 2 medium spicy chips. I was disappointed not by the taste but the contents. All 3 boxes had too much rice/noodles and not enough meat, veg etc. When I questioned the worker why he had put in a little bit of black bean chicken in one box he was kind enough to get a foil container mix some fried chicken with black bean sauce and give me extra. The thing is whilst I was waiting around I noticed all the dishes were empty and full of sauce, they were scraping chicken or beef out of the dishes. I was disappointed by this as I have been to the oodles in green street numerous times and its totally different you get more of the meat and veg. I dont think i will go back to this particular oodles as I was disappointed. Other than that the taste was spot on.

We went to visit Oodles Chinese at Walthamstow branch. We ordered 1 large hot chilli mix, 1 large box of egg fried rice, udon noodles, chilli chicken & crispy prawns. For the sides we got, spicy chips, vegetable spring rolls, chinese hot wings and torpedo prawns. They were very generous with the portions. We absolutely loved everything! My absolute favourite was the hot chilli mix box and spicy chips and chinese hot wings. The wings were soo succulent and yummy! Also, the staff were soo friendly and always ensured if we needed anything, we were served by the lovely staff member named Harlow x at Walthamstow. I would definitely recommend this place, especially if you love chinese food like myself😋

The Leicester branch is amazing, the staff at the Walthamstow branch aren’t very attentive, the food is really good if you happen to be served the right thing, i ordered 3 portions today and they totally forgot to add my spicy chips, how can you forget to add something when it’s printed on the box label? Almost no waiting time, unfortunately doesn't take card payments so we skipped that by me ordering collection online. The reason for two stars down is that i ordered two chicken mains - sukiyaki and crispy chicken mainly because it didn't have the spicy sign, as I'm not good with spicy... but to my surprise when I got home to enjoy it, it turned out quite a bit spicy to the point that i really did not enjoy it and didn't even finish eating it. Food was hot and fresh. The medium box is big enough to share and the small box was very generous for my children. The only things I would change to improve this is to have less sauce (as I ended up having a soupy noodle mix at the bottom) Way too much sauce for the noodles however the rice boxes seemed to take the sauce well.It would have been nice to see more greens in the noodle mix as, although the noodles and rice specify 'veg' there is hardly any. I would have preferred some crunch from some green veg such as the traditional pok choi, broccoli forerunner bean etc The flavour was good and I was happily satisfied with the execution. Really nice to see a halal chinese place in my area too. The concept of choosing your own box is an awesome idea. Well done Oodles!

It was tasteless and too chilli. Maybe my fault for ordering the wrong dish. If you're not massively hungry one small box is enough for 2. I paid £14 for 2 small takeaway boxes. Unfortunately it just didn't taste great or anything like Chinese food. Unless the flavour improves I will try other Chinese places like Etles or other takeaways altogether like fish and chips. It's a shame because I was excited about a halal Chinese opening in the area, but sadly this is not the real deal, and...(shock horror) there was no duck on the menu. :( I think they're trying hard as a new business though and the staff were knowledgeable about the food and gave a good service getting my takeaway ready in no more than about 5-10 mins. Well done guys, but work on developing an authentic Chinese flavour.

Simple menu, yet different to your usual stir fried noodles shop as you get the option of 2 kinds of bases I.e. multiple varieties of rice and noodle dishes then you get 2 meat options. Service was rapid, staff was super friendly and helpful. I think its going to become my go to for stir fried chinese fusion food. Prices were reasonable as well, between 6 to 8 depending on size.

The flavours of the food is nice, the portion you get is worth the price for it’s location, the layout of the store is friendly and most of all the staff are very friendly and do look after the customers. Decent food, fast and polite service. This place is on Hoe Street, right next door to Ambala and behind it is Tesco. The main road is difficult to park on however streets opposite it in the evening provide plenty of parking options. This is a chopstix type of set up. Three easy steps. Chose two from starters like noodles and rice. Two from main one and two from mains two. That's it. Sit and wait a few minutes and food is ready to eat. All food is served in food boxes with a choice between small medium and large. If you are confused there are also some pre selected boxes. All in all for the price and quality food is of a decent standard. My chicken was a little on the dry side but noodles and rice were spot on. Don't visit if you're looking for a fancy, service at table style place. But if you fancy a quick bite and like Chinese do try out.

Today have been to oodles opening day...long queue as expected for opening day 50% off..order cripsy chicken..spicy chips.. crispy prawn and fried rice awesose taste..love the option mix and match have other things to try and definitely will visit again soon. Some people were moaning about waiting time..long queue just want to say that bear in mind few things before putting something in writing..it was an opening day, 50% off, freshly made on orders. Imagine on boxing day queues people stand wholenight in a queue still not guaranteed to get what they expect.. it is not fair or to decide and conclude the customer Services or food etc is bad. Should give them a fair chance.

Food is nice...I have tasted a number of different dishes and definitely are some things I really like....food does consistently taste the same each time I go which is awesome...only downsides for me are that generally the flavours of the different items are either too spicy or not flavoursome enough - there should be more in the middle items - this is definitely very subjective however I can take a lot of spice but for me I have often found the food too spicy and the portions are huge...maybe an extra small size just for those who looking to snack....again if you never been I would highly recommend you try 😁😎
