Reviews of Orient London
M. C.
Lovely traditional Chinese food with quiet, polite waiters. We had the Set Menu 3 course meal and struggled to finish between the two of us - plenty of food. The duck was carved at the table which was a nice touch.
N. S.
I’ve been here a few times for dinner and it’s a decent place just off the hustle and bustle of China Town. We came again tonight and the service was very good, friendly, and the food came out in good time. We had the chilli squid to start, which was good, but I would say the batter could do with being a little lighter. Soft squid though so that was good. The duck pancakes were fab as always, as was the Car Sui pork!!! So damn good! We also had sweet and sour Cantonese style for a change, which I enjoyed, but again the batter could have been lighter. All round decent Chinese food here
R.
The food was divine! The service was speedy and the staff were helpful and attentive. The prices are ok it’s not unreasonable but it is pricer than some competitors, however you do get a lot delicious food as portion sizes are great! After visiting I discovered that as recently as October 2021 the food hygiene rating is 1 with major improvements needed for the management of food safety ect. Due to the 1 star rating and the prices of items on the menu I believe it’s necessary to remove one star as it is disappointing the food hygiene rating is not on display and therefore I would not visit again until this has been reviewed/renewed with an improved score.

These guys nail it, we just had a fantastic lunch here. The service was fine and efficient, the space is very nice and our food was delicious. We had the wild mushroom dumplings, shanghai pork dumplings, spring rolls and the teppan ho fun w/ beef in black bean sauce. Each dish was excellent, go!
R. G.
Best dimsum in Chinatown
Not a big fan of the seafood dumpling but everything else is great!
Highly recommended
I. W.
Good food and atmosphere for the money. Enjoyed the various dim sum dishes and Singapore style fried vermicelli noodle dish (spicy!). 4 dim sum dishes, 1 noodle dish and tea was £33.88. A filling amount for two people. Look forward to coming back and trying the roast meats and other dishes.
L. S.
I had an average experience here. Was quite pricey and tasted better food if I’m honest, but maybe I just ordered something that wasn’t to my liking as I really enjoyed the starter and my mums dish was lovely
C. S.
Really delicious, the dim sum is this place is amazing, great service too, the place is nice and the staff were really attentive.
G.
Came here for dim sum but felt like the quality has dropped since my last visit back in 2020. Nevertheless, still considered one of the better places in Chinatown in terms of the food.
The sesame sauce that came with the plain "cheung fun" (steamed rice roll) was bitter and did not taste like sesame sauce. The deep fried prawn dumplings had too high of a pastry to filling ratio. The type of pastry they use now is also a little too hard. The roast pork puffs (triangular-shaped) tasted like they were microwaved; the inside was very hot and outside was soft. The pastry is usually flaky/crispy. Also ordered the salted fish & sliced pork steamed rice pot, which was standard. Dim sum is served until 16.45 daily but would advise to go early as certain items do run out before this time.
The service is top quality, very attentive and they look after you well. The atmosphere at this Chinese restaurant is a little different to the ones on the main street (Gerrard Street) though, it's missing that traditional dim sum place feeling.
B. G.
Oh what a gr8 Chinese restaurant so glad we visited. The food was absolutely delicious. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Reasonably priced 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾❤
H.
The service was lovely, the staff were really attentive where they would fill our cups with tea and teapot as soon as it was low. The beef fried ho fun was fresh and had wok flavour which was good.
C. C.
The best dim sum I’ve ever had!! If you’re looking for amazing, great quality well-priced dim sum in Chinatown then the Orient is definitely top of the list! I came here with two friends and ordered at least 11 dishes between us and only spent c.£25 each - amazingly cheap for the quality & quantity of dim sum we had! Highly recommend the steamed egg coconut bun which is super creamy and light & the soup dumplings have a great soup:filling ratio too. If not made well, soup dumplings can leave an oily/heavy taste in your mouth after a few which is why vinegar is a must to cut the grease but did not experience this at all at the Orient - the dim sum chef is clearly very experienced! Egg tarts are fresh and super flaky with a creamy centre, not a single dish was a ‘miss’. 100% recommend to come here 😊
T. K. B.
This restaurant at entrance of china town has very delicous food in decent price. Food is tasty. Service is good. Staffs are friendly. Protion size is really good. We enjoyed our time.
C. O.
Great place to eat in Chinatown, the service was great - very friendly and efficient. The food came super quick and (almost) all together. The dishes were great, very tasty and decent portions, the Thai chicken satay was slightly bland hence the 4 instead of 5 stars. The wine was great and reasonably priced too. Definitely worth a visit but try the dim sum instead of the satay starter!
R. F.
This was probably the best Chinese restaurant I have eaten in, the food was really good the portions were massive and the prices were really good for Chinatown London, We didn't have to book we just walked in and this was on a busy Saturday. The staff are really helpful and keep check on you so you are not left sitting around waiting.
A. K.
Yup, you won't be disappointed coming here. Great food and service, and a big plus is that they take reservations as late as 10:30pm (it's weirdly really hard to find a post show restaurant in London). If you walk fast you can even make it here after The Lion King down at the Lyceum theatre
K.
Unlike the majority of other restaurants in Chinatown, Orient is not as overcrowded and busy - this place is a hidden gem.
J. C.
Great different menu we tried duck tongues but the soft shell crab was delicious and other dishes all great good service a bit too quick but lovely restaurant just at the start of Chinatown from Piccadilly. Need to book but good place.
A. J.
I had a rice plate, fried dim sum and a beer.
I would recommend to stick to the dim sum as this place is known for that and you can be full really quick. Place is cleaned and staff is nice.
L. L.
One of the best dim sum restaurants in China town at very reasonable prices.
The fried turnip cake with XO chilli sauce is very worth trying. It's a shame that they didn't serve steamed egg yolk buns when we went. They had reduced menu items during the lockdown.
Would recommend if you're craving for dim sum. The quality is consistently better than other restaurants in China town.
S. I.
Fantastic restaurant. Service was incredibly good, char siu pork buns were so good I almost ordered another serving. The pork fried noodles and the crab and sweetcorn soup was also great, as well as the hotpot. Decor was really good, and would go here again in a heartbeat.
T. L.
A splendid place for lunch time Dim Sum. Great environment and the staff do not pressure you to leave once you have finished eating.
M. A.
Best chinese I've ever had. Would really recommend the crispy beef.
I did find pricing to be weird in some respects. For example, over £10 for sauteed vegetables? Food was great however.
M. O.
Very attentive and friendly staff - normally in Chinatown it can be a bit of a struggle to get the waiters attention but everything was prompt, even the refilling of the tea.
Food was fantastic, I’m accustomed to chinatowns standards as I’ve been going here since I was a child and this is definitely one of the top ones. I noticed a lot of Chinese locals were also dining here - which says a lot. Food was worth the price in my opinion.
Decor is nice and modern, definitely a dinner vibe.
Y.
My favourite chinese restaurant in London - previously called “jade garden”. Dim sum menu is extensive. Only 8 (fried/steam) dishes are vegan - so it can feel rather tedious. But there are plenty of other plant based dishes if you like spicy food or want to order something with rice or noodles.
The service is super fast- the servers are helpful. The bathroom is very narrow and busy to get to and from. It is children friendly. Quietest time without queue is 12-12.40pm and after 3.30pm-5pm for dim sum menu.
Menus are displayed in both chinese and English
I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.
The food is authentic and well cooked.
The best dim sum location in China town.
Not wheelchair friendly (definitely not - bathroom wise)
I.
Super delicious and authentic dim sum in Chinatown - very easy to find the restaurant too. Service is fast and decent! Price is very reasonable. Totally coming back again for more dim sum!
P. G.
Haven't visited this restaurant for yum cha for over a year due to COVID. Good to be back and good to see the standard of their food and service are well maintained. It remains as one of my favourite dim sum places in town.
M. C.
Good pork fried rice and spring rolls. Great service.
R. B.
Went for dim sum, service was great, overall price was okay. Appreciate that their noodles portion was quite big, happy with that. It’s a tick for us.
G. S.
Excellent food and service, perhaps a little expensive, but an enjoyable evening with work colleagues
R.
Great dim sum and special fried rice. Clean and service was good!
N.
Loved having lunch here. The place was packed and the service was super quick. Everything we tried was delicious!
S. H.
Had a 2 minute wait to eat here after we were let down with a reservation elsewhere (on a Saturday evening).
We lucked out because this place is a gem. We had a set menu which was great value and delicious. Best duck I have ever had. Service was efficient and friendly. Got busier later so I recommend booking if possible.
F. S.
Delicious food and efficient service. It was a great choice for a nice lunch after a long morning running around central London. Opted for the Option B set menu and it was plenty food for 2 people. Also right by the Entrance of china town gate so took lovely photos after. The staff were also polite and courteous. Good value for money, highly recommend.
H. W.
Excellent food, but waiters expect % surcharge for just bringing food to your table… no personal table service to speak of. I didn’t mind tipping, but didn’t want to pay the surcharge which resulted in a very stroppy waiter and huffy table clearance!
F. A.
Packed restaurant at lunch time mod week.
Friendly service but long wait for steamed food with busy restaurant state.
Tasty dim sum offering.
If you are into dim sum... It's a good choice.
C. N.
We went to Orient for a preshow meal and cant rate the quality of food and service highly enough! The food was fresh and tasty (not full of MSG!) and the staff attentive, and helpful without being overbearing. Def recommend to anyone looking for good food in Chinatown and /or before a show.
W. L.
Good taste, value for money, great service and cleaning
M. N.
Good food and friendly staff.. had delicious lobster 😋
C. H.
Your perfect every day Chinese restaurant. Freshly cooked food with very good basic products done the classic Cantonese way. We especially enjoyed the BBQ dishes and the superb Singapore noodles. Great modern atmosphere and very attentive staff!
A. L.
Really good dim sum for very good prices, service is speedy and I enjoyed the free tea refills. The place is well decorated and clean. Recommend the custard buns, they are amazing.
J. D.
We were a walk in, didn’t book and the staff were so accommodating and friendly. My family and I had set menu C at £24 a head and the food was great value and superb quality. Delicious! and the best duck I’ve had in England. More than enough food without ordering extra (though don’t let me stop you 😆) and a really good variety of dishes. The atmosphere was happy and relaxed, the environment spotless.
v.
Good Cantonese cuisine. Average price too.
H. B.
Tasty dim sum at good price. Also not to be missed is one of the scrumptious authentic Cantonese dinner set menus best for party of 2 as you can have a taste of multiple dishes of good portion. Service is just good enough.
G. K.
Very good choice for a Chinese meal. The place is well decorated. The atmosphere is nice. The food is tasty. The portions are generous. The staff is polite, attentive and efficient. The prices are reasonable. No booking required in the afternoon. Overall very highly recommended. No doubt about that.
A. B.
Good food, plenty of choice. Place was quite full so service was a bit slow ( hence the 4 stars). Would definitely visit again!
S. W.
What's better comments to make than saying the food is approved by a Chinese, but slightly too oily in my opinion (dinner wise). A friend of mine basically eat there almost everyday, the staff are very friendly and the food taste the same as the ones I had in China. I will definitely go back and try out their dim sum next time.
Definitely recommend to try out their soup, they are delicious.
M. A. C.
Staff needs be more approachable and accommodating.
Food was fine, few of the served food was on the bland side.
Menu should indicate portions like their soup menu, priced at £4.90 are just approx 200mls portion.
A. M.
Wooow! Their Pekín duck crepes are AMAZING. Overall all the food was pretty tasty and good. But for sure the dish I loved the most was their Pekin duck crepes. If you come here don’t forget to try them. The only thing was that their staff wasn’t at all great, everyone that came to serve us was always sort of angry with a frown or bad face. They should definitely improve that if they want to be a 5 star place.
Y. H.
First time being here, having read previous reviews we expected a quick turnaround, not the case. We were there for 1.5 hours, not rushed although the staff don't really interact with you, but certainly not rude. We had booked which is probably advisable as was very busy (Saturday early evening) Our set course menu (C) was perfect, gave us a good selection. You are able to change one main meal across the two portions. Looking at the menu a very good selection and drinks reasonably priced. Can recommend and we would return if in London again.
R. O.
Traditional Chinese food! Great service excellent food. Fast and clean. Easy five stars.
A. J.
Was going to go for a set menu but the waitress said my daughter wouldn’t eat it all and said we would be better off going for individual dishes. Ended up costing me a lot more money with less food! Starters and duck were really nice, but the mains were full of MSG’s which just made me really thirsty and gave me a headache afterwards.
J. A.
Food was good. Hard to find good chinese food especially in China town where theres so much restaurants available. Just make sure you read the menu properly and also the set menus.
Would visit again
R. H.
Seated us without a reservation. Was busy which is a good sign. Came for dim sum which was tasty. If you like sauces too dip into, you'll need to ask as not included it seems.
S. L. L.
Service 5/5, good service, waitress comes and refill water even before we request it. They even help us to order ( as it is quite difficult to match the number and the food on the menu) when it is about 5mins before they stop receiving order for dimsum.
Food 4/5, delicious, custard bun not bad but there is another restaurant better than this. Generally okay, nice!
Price 4/5, generally is £1 more expensive than other dim sum restaurants in Chinatown. But owing to its good service and nice food, i will definitely RECOMMEND this restaurant to you guys. They give line by line receipt ( unlike some other restaurants that only give you a receipt with total amount on it), everything is clearly charged and priced, no fraud no scam ( be aware that some restaurant does this secretly- the Ger****’s C******)
All in all, this restaurant will be the one that i will go whenever i m craving for dimsum in London.
D. T. N.
Pricey but justified by real yummy food. Really worth it! A must try for dim sum lovers. Nice "upper class" atmosphere compared to other dim sum restaurants in this area.
J.
Classic and safe choice for a dim sum treat. It's slightly more expensive but the quality is of better consistency.
The stuffing is particularly good - very flavourful and well-balanced but the wrapping is a bit thicker than the traditional ones. Dishes are served very quickly after ordering. Puffed ones usually come first, followed by steamed ones.
As many restaurants in Chinatown, the service is of an interesting frosty-polite nature, not very warm but acceptable. You are expected to order, eat and leave within a reasonable timeframe, making room for potential diners.
S. M.
The best food I've had in Chinatown for a long duration of time!
Not a bad price either!
w. h.
I love this place. It is always busy. The food is amazing and so are the staff. I've been here 4 times since summer and I don't live or work anywhere near it
Y. X.
They have duck tongue and chicken feet on the menu, so it’s very authentic - one of the few remaining Chinese restaurants in town to make Dim Sum daily by hand
Dim sum recommended are (in that order for my taste):
- roast pork puff
- Orient cheung fun
- fresh mango compote with sago pearls & pomelo
- beef dumplings
- black sesame balls
- prawn and chives dumplings
- chicken and Chinese mushroom steamed rice pot
- duck tongue
- caviar shanghai dumplings
I. A.
It was mid autumn festival for the Chinese or moon cake festival yesterday.A friend organised for dinner at Orient.London
The restaurant was packed eventhough it was a week day.
We had two lots of crab. One with dry chilli and garlic crab and the other Crab with noodles. Also had Aubergine.
Aubergine was so delicious.Never tasted as tasty as this in other restaurants.
The waiter was friendly which is a bonus in a Chinese restaurant.
Enjoyed the food and company.
Worth visiting.Price reasonable.
J. R.
The nicest duck and crab I’ve ever had! The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, the food was excellent and came quickly. It was very reasonably priced, especially the drinks!
V. Y.
Food was amazing. Had a really good time here. Staff was also super friendly. Would definitely recommend it.

Visited on a Sunday and it was still quite busy. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. They were very attentive throughout and removed empty dishes and refilled the tea often. The food was delicious, arrived quickly and was very hot. Visit recommended if you are around Chinatown!
m. s.
Absolutely beautiful and very authentic....the afternoon tea is brilliant here and every dish come pipping hot....be careful...it is really very hot....the staff is very friendly and quick responsers.
A. M.
Tried Dim Sum here for the first time on a Saturday, as part of Dim Sum week. As it was busy we where given menus while we waited and was able to make our selection to hand in as we where seated. Overall really great experience, the Dim Sum is good with a wide selection to choose from. The prices are in line with the rest of Chinatown. The decor is very welcoming and the staff are efficient.
K. G.
It's just..... very professionally done and the waiters are really trying to be as polite as possible. Definitely I would recommend this place.
S. H.
Lovely friendly staff, great food and pleasant surroundings. Loved the set meal C. Great that you can easily book online so there is no queueing too.
L. P.
Food was decent , wish there were more options no natural juices
K. Y.
Orient London has steadied my wavering confidence in the depreciating dim sum that is offered by China Town establishments as of late. I could tell that the quality and attention to detail in the food preparation at Orient is certainly superior than my other Gerrard Street encounters. Fish congee was fresh and gently textured and the filling in the parcels of har gao greatly shows the chefs ability to balance the subtlety of flavours. I have refound my go to dim sum haunt in China Town!
Y. W.
Very delicious food, large portions, attentive service. Best Chinese restaurant in China town. Will visit again next time in London.
D. M.
Had a group dinner here, perfect for a 10 person group, the price is reasonable and the food and environmentand the staff is really worth it. It gets really busy at dinner time, so best make a reservation. Peking duck and roast duck are very good.
K. K.
Very good service, they made tweaks to the dishes to allow for vegetarian; food was delicious, especially the grilled eggplant!
A.
Our first choice in chinatown, comfortable and very good dim sum.
R. W.
YUMMY YUMMY AND MORE YUMMY. Food was amazing. Came out hot and fresh with minimal wait time. I suggest getting a reservation because I don’t think you can get in here for dinner without one. The DimSum was to die for and the teriyaki beef was soooo tender it was almost unbelievable. So glad I came here.
M. G.
Pleasantly surprised. For something right in the middle of Chinatown it's good tasting, decent service and really good menu. Two of us paid about 35 pounds and left food over. It's surprising that it wasn't so busy at late lunch time.
P. T. F.
The steamed crab in shaoxing and egg white is my favourite dish in Chinatown
L. M.
Had some dim sum 3pm Saturday and still had to wait 10 minutes for table to be free... A good sign! We love Cheung Fun and it was great here , fast and friendly service. Note 10 per cent service charge added automatically.
D. P.
Great value Chinese restaurant in China town. Excellent food, great service and well priced. Shame there were no clams so we will have to revisit in the future
N. E.
Excellent food, a wide range of choice on the menu and good portion sizes. Friendly service and a superb location right beneath the China Town gate. Highly recommended!
b. P.
Outstanding... Went here for a birthday meal with a group of friends food was fantastic we went for a set menu for five and was maybe one of the best Chinese meal I have had. The staff are friendly and efficient when they heard it was my birthday they brought out a pudding with a candle in it... Recommended but don't forget to book in advance
T. L.
The a la carte dishes are lovely and the staff are very attentive and friendly. But as a Cantonese, I would not recommend this place for dim sum. Of the 8 dishes we tried, four were good but the other half missed the mark. The chicken feet is often a good litmus test for the quality of the chefs as it's a rather tedious dish to make. The texture of the chicken feet dish here tells me they completely skipped two of the 4 steps needed to give this dish the authentic texture it's known for.
Overall, it's fine if you're just going for the dim sum dishes well known amongst westerners. But if you're after an authentic dim sum experience, this one doesn't quite cut it.
There's a reason why, unlike most of the other dim sum places, Asian people form a minority at the tables here.
J. &. L. E.
Fantastic service and food!
We had set menu C, plenty of food, hot and well cooked. Highly recommende.
Thank you for a fantastic meal
V. B.
Food was amazing & reasonably priced. Very clean. Staff very friendly, good service. Looking forward to going back there again to try something different
J. C.
Favourite dim sum place in town. Great service, value, staff and cleanliness. I really couldnt put a single thing wrong with this place. Cheung fun particularly good.
G. K.
Jesus this is a fantastic restaurant.
Such a lovely restaurant. Great great fast service lovely staff. The food was like being in China.
One of the best places to eat in Chinatown London.
The restaurants decor is just lovely. We went for lunch 😋 and left in love with the food.
Can't wait to go back.
t. C.
Absolutely brilliant the service was top notch the waiters were patient and precise and fast we were doing a course meal and one after the other we got positively surprised, dishes arrived quickly and we had an absolute blast
P. A.
Amazing service, delicious food and from a conversation the staff overheard between me and my son they bought out a dessert complete with a candle for his birthday.
We will definitely go back again.
W. O.
Just renovated restaurant. Skilled Chinese cooking with considerate England service. Duck is a must try dish even if you are from China.
R. Y.
Delicious food recommend 👍
C. J.
Top notch food and service, 10/10 superb staff
S. M.
Best Chinese I've ever had, staff were lovely and friendly. Advise to book in advance.
C. F.
Lovely food and good service. Restaurant nice and clean
L. P.
Regular customer of the Orient for the last 20 years.
The best roasted duck and egg fry rice in China town!
Super service!
Big thank.
T. S.
The food here is amazing. It has such a fresh and flavoursome taste. It is a truly delicious experience! The staff are quite nice and price is not bad either.
J. H.
Good, clean. Excellent service. We had Lobster crispy noodles and some dim sum. Hit the spot. Food was so fresh. I just hope the customers return, as with the Pandemic, not many restaurants in hospitality will survive.
M. N.
I tried the dumplings (forgot which ones oops) they were pretty good, needed some salt though. Presentation was nice.
Fried rice wasn’t good, had a burnt taste although it wasnt burnt itself
The crab soup was also mediocre
They didnt have many options of dumplings which didnt have pork in them as someone who doesn’t eat pork it was a problem for me
Overall it was mostly mediocre with ups and downs
B. D.
Great food, great service and reasonably priced
B. A.
Very good service.
Food tasted fresh and well cooked.
Coming back soon.
A. A.
Authentic restaurant with good dim sum. The staff seemed nice and friendly and table service was quite smooth.
P. N.
Great food!
R. N.
Rapid service, good food and nice staff
h. C.
Nothing special. Food was ok, a bit cheaper than most which are overpriced in China town.
S. H.
On a whim today, my husband and I went to Orient London for lunch (our first visit). We are already planning a second visit. Friendly service and excellent food. Definitely recommend the crispy duck and ho fun noodles with beef.
J. G.
Quick service, generous proportions, a definite recommendation!! 10/10!
P. P. O.
Visited with my husband for a midweek date and loved loved loved it. Really good food! Tasty and great portions as well!!! The staff was very attentive and nice even though it was really hard communicating. One order was wrong but they quickly corrected it. Will visit again and would encourage anyone to do same!!!! It's definitely not your regular takeout.
J. M.
Good food. Nothing amazing but not bad.
D. D.
Always great value and fresh dim sum.
F.
Great food and service - our favourite in China town
J. L.
Absolutely loved this restaurant. The food was so good. Staff very attention. Food came out nice and quickly. Couldn't fault it.
h. b.
Lovely food and staff
W. C.
Average Cantonese food and value. I would stay away from Sichuan food here, mostly not spicy or authentic enough. General Cantonese twist, though all the dishes are a bit sweet to me. Service is excellent! Waitstaff are attentive and private rooms are a plus! Overall, nice interiors.
N. K.
Best dim sum in London. Best I've had. Amazing quality. No frozen products, all fresh, nice staff and good atmosphere. Popular with Chinese people - this is no tourist trap. Very fair prices and nice enough for a romantic dinner. Highly recommended
M. R.
Another belly buster. So full. Went for set meal C. Excellent and meticulous service. Decent price too
D. M.
Best reataurant for high quality Chinesse food with bargain pricees!
E. O.
Was there during Chinese New Year, there was a queue to enter, so I thought that this must be good if there’s a queue! And it was. Didn’t have to wait long to get a table and the service was excellent. Very prompt and polite. The food was great, I ordered spring rolls, sweet and sour pork and fried rice. The spring rolls came out quickly and were piping hot! Lovely. When I was finished, a few minutes later, out came the main. Again, very hot and fresh, was fantastic. I couldn’t fault it. There are so many Asian restaurants to choose from, especially in Chinatown, this one will not disappoint.
M. C.
Authentic dim sum restaurant with reasonable price.
D. M.
One of the better restaurants in Chinatown. The food here is always super tasty. Service is quick and friendly. Not the cheapest, however it isn’t expensive either. Portions are pretty generous too so I think it is well priced.
M.
London prices, so could be a bit pricy for some people.
But overall I really enjoyed this place.
Takeaway available.
Very stylish and modern setting, easily accessible location.
A. C.
Food was reasonable. Prices at the higher end but understandable bearing in mind the location. Staff though just seemed in a rush to get the order to us, for is to eat, and then the table to be cleared. We sat down to eat at about 9:15pm so this was disappointing. By the time we left no one was waiting. Why rush us? My husband had literally finished his last mouthful when his plate was being cleared. Shame as otherwise it was nice.

Was looking for an authentic experience and this restaurant really came through! We were seated straight away, even though it was quite busy. The food was EXCELLENT! Every bite! The peanut sauce and chicken satay were great - the dim sum was really fantastic and we loved the duck and chili beef! The service was on point and extremely prompt. Thank you Orient London!
L. E.
Staff were very welcoming and really catered to us, really great customer service. Decent price range for the amount of food we got - good value for money 👍. Will definitely be coming again.
C. K.
Had dim sum which was delicious. Although the menu has reduced due to pandemic, nonetheless, their way of making dim sum was authentic. My favourite was the wild mushroom dumpling. Good quality tea served too (tieh Quan Ying)
K. M.
We had a wonderful meal here for a birthday. Staff were attentive and friendly. Very accommodating to our peanut allergy, apart from the satay sauce brought out at the beginning which was quickly rectified. Would feel comfortable eating here again.
E. H.
Good Chinese food but also a little over priced right in the heart of china town. I shared the dim sum appetizer which was the only way to get dim sum at night in the area and had chicken satay as my main. The chicken was a little dry and there was a HUGE quantity. Most ideal to come in a big group and share everything because portions a large. Make sure to make a reservation if going on a weekend night.
C. L.
I visited this establishment whilst on business with a friend on Tuesday night. I must say from the start the experience really was first class. Owing to flight arrival time we were not at the restaurant until well after 10pm but the staff were very accommodating. We got a seat by the window where we could take in the vibrant atmosphere of London’s China town. We opted for Set Menu C. Which included all of the below. Shared between two:
Starter:
Sesame Prawn Toast
Spare ribs
Spring rolls
Chicken satay
Intermediate:
Aromatic duck
Main:
Lemon chicken
Honey chilli beef
Prawn and cashew
Steamed veg
Side:
Yeung Chow fried rice
Everything was utterly magnificent. The ribs were slow cooked to perfection. The duck was a moreish mix of crispy yet melt in the mouth soft. The hoisin sauce was a taste bud tingling delight from the off. A running theme for the night was the quality of the sauces and the fresh nature of the food presented to the table.
The menu was £24 per person which I see to be very good value for the service that was provided. There were certainly no arguments from either of us diners when the 10% service charge was added on. Had it in 20% I still would’ve been happy to pay. But no more than that. I’m not made of money.
I will most definitely return to the orient and suggest anyone considering a Chinese meal in the British capital give it a visit.
Marvellous.will return!
M. R.
In general the food is good, the portions generous, but some of the dishes from the set menu that we have chosen were a bit blunt. It's better to choose single dishes from the normal menu. The food that our friends ordered was richer in taste
S. A.
Good service and food quality.
Though table seatings are a bit close, the waiters can quickly attend to your requests.
Quality of the Chinese tea, dim sums and dishes I tried is very good. Real Chinese style with very little compromise to western taste.
J. L.
Our go to dim sum place. This rating is only for their dim sum service as their regular dinner menu isn't quite as good. But let's concentrate on the positives - the dim sum is fresh and delicious. Their salted egg custard bun is just magic. We'll order quite a few rounds of dim sum dishes and the bill is never more than £40 for 2 of us. Service is also fantastic, which is super rare for a restaurant in Chinatown.
F. W.
Great Experience. Food was superb, service was excellent.
The restaurant was fully packed, but the staff was very attentive to all my special requests, they did not rush us, even during their peak hours. They were very friendly and recommended delicious dishes and accompanying side dishes.
Their Dim Sum was more than delicious, I haven't tasted anything as good as here outside of Asia
I would definitely come here again, I would advise everyone who enjoys a great meal to come visit here.
K. C.
Best chinese food in Chinatown. Fast service. Honey glazed prawns are excellent. Dim sum is super good. Love the crab as well as sesame balls for dessert. I go regularly. Always leaving happy.
L. O.
A birthday treat. Lovely place with fantastic food and the service was second to none.
K. L.
Fantastic dim sum and plates. The crispy pineapple rolls were the perfect post-dinner treat: sweet, but not overly so. Attentive staff was patient with my 4 year old and helped us to pick a dish she'd love.
M. L.
Very impressive selection of dim sum in the heart of China Town. We had 8 dishes for 2 people plus drinks and it all came to just 45 pounds! Service was fast although not the nicest waiters. The place was also very clean and nicely decorated. I recommend the prawn and tofu cheng fun, the fried turnip cakes and the prawn dumplings. Would definitely recommend for an affordable dim sum lunch in central london.
A. S.
Uninspiring mediocre dishes with higher price tag😑
J. F.
Super tasty, fast service. The tea was great and the wait time was low. I'd actually recommend the chicken claws, especially the cold ones. The dimsum menu was large, though the menu and ordering system was mainly in mandarin. So, you'll have to use the pictures and numbers if you go!
M. M.
Come every time we go to London... always great food, friendly service, super clean and very reasonably priced
M. P.
Good and super cheap.
The food is okay, don't expect anything crazy, but it is good having in mind what you pay.
The service is good and they are nice.
You guess it is owned by a family, a nice old couple and some girls helping them.
She is in the restaurant, serving. And he is in the kitchen with some help.
C. a. J. T.
It's one of those things, when a restaurant that you really like begins to show signs of becoming ordinary. On our visit last night,we were seated promptly. The food was okay, but not outstanding. The service was excellent, but it took ages to get the bill. Oh,and we were charged 40p for milk in an Americano. We've been here many times but probably not again. Bye,it's been fun
X. Y.
Great food but service quality is not predictable. We ordered takeouts every day for 7 days. But when we came back from Scotland and called to order a takeout, they told me that it cannot be accepted or it would take at least 1 hour. I believe that on average we spend more on takeouts than ordinary diners there. This kind of varying quality of service is appalling.
V. H.
Great food and service. Vast menu with something for everyone. Lemon Honey chicken, fried dumplings, beef fried rice, and sizzling mandarin beef....loved them all. The beef came out like fajitas on a iron pan sizzling. So tasty.
C. D. a.
Food and service was very good. We had the set menu for 2, the crispy duck pancake rolls were amazing. There was more than enough food for the 2 of us and it was very well priced.
Y. T.
Really nice + authentic Dim Sam though few stuff were a bit overpriced. Had a great lunch there. The steamed egg yolk bun is definitely the highlight and a must!!!! Finally found a good one in London, would definitely go back 🤗🤗
P.S The only let down was the shrimp dumpling with black truffle, this one is a let down, didn't taste any truffle.. should just order the normal one.
Y. T.
A very good classic Chinese restaurant.
All the great classic Chinese dishes and then some. Took us a while to get through the menu and make a choice, and everything was tasty and we'll prepared.
There are really no surprises here. Nothing exquisite, but no disappointments. Just good old Chinese food.
C. B.
Quality service and great food. Set menus are very good value for money. I've had a few Chinese visitors and they've enjoyed it too! Waitresses are very polite, nothing like some of the rude Chinese restaurants around Soho. Recommended.
N. B.
Came here for Sunday dim sum and I wasn’t disappointed for their service and quality. The food came very quickly and they tasted very good. Very reasonable price too so I would definitely come back again.
r. c.
Great atmosphere and the food was great. Polite staff. Could have slightly dimmed the lights in the evening. Busy on Saturday and food came out really at a good pace and no long waits.
S. G.
It was easy to get a table though there were quite a few people in the restaurant. The noodle dish we ordered tasted like it was a bit burnt and arrived at the table less than 5 minutes after we ordered it, so it's likely they have the more common dishes pre-prepared. This is a family-friendly easy Europeanized Chinese restaurant and the food was a bit fatty and salty.
S. T. G. “.
My favourite place to have some Dim Sum in London. Mega friendly staff, fast service, reasonable prices. If you've never had Dim Sum this is the place for you to have them! There's always plenty of people and for me that's a indicator that the food has to be good. I'm a coming back customer for more than 4 years now and they never disappointed. 5 stars
R. M.
Great service, great food
A. G.
Great place with amazing food.
Waiter suggest an alternative to what we ordered because the table wanted to share four different dishes and two of them were very similar.
And it was a mouth watering experience and hands down the best dish on the table that evening.
Z. X. (.
Best place for din sum, the cheapest and the tastiest and the service is super fast too
R. T.
Food is always enjoyable here. Probably one of the best Dim Sum restaurants in China Town.
W. D. A.
Great food, classy restaurant, and the most attentive service I've ever experienced in an eatery. The staff was very kind to help a Yank order off a Chinese menu more sophisticated than I am used to. Perfect stop in Chinatown, just a few feet from Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus.
R. M.
Great service and fabulous food. We arrived earlier than expected and they were having to turn people away who hadn't booked but they seated us immediately and looked after us really well. Obviously there is a lot of choice in Chinatown, but this is a winner.
C. H.
Loved it, proper China town experience. Had the banquet for 2 and lots of unlimited refill Chinese tea - both were great. About £25 per head so reasonable too..
R.
Food and service excellent, we had seaweed, dumpling platter 8, veg spring rolls, chill squid with ginger and scallions, chrispy tofu in black bean served with fried rice.. Very high quality food and very fast service. Will be back!
H. M.
Great place for tasty dim sum.
M. D.
Been 3 times now and enjoyed all 3 times. The level of service it's good and much better than China town average. Staff are polite and helpful.
The food is excellent. Each visit was for dim sum. Everything we had was really high quality and much better than other places we have tried.
I really highly recommend here if you want some good food and service.
M. M.
Amazing and crispy Pequim duck! My favourite place to have this dish. The rest of the food is also good. You can have menus where you will eat a lot for 20.50£/24£ depending on your option.
J. D.
I loved the food here. Every meal I have had was delicious. The food made me remind of home and the ambience was very comfortable. A bit pricy, but it's worth the money. Would recommend to everyone!
C. G.
Came here for dinner last night and despite the venue and service being very good, the food was underwhelming. We ordered the mixed meat platter (roast duck, char siu and pork belly), scallops in black bean sauce, choi sum with crab sauce and rice. The vegetables were bland and a little undercooked, and whilst the meats were tasty, portion size was lacking. The scallops were tasty but to make them go further had been cut across the middle into thin discs so you lost all of the sweetness from them. It wasn't a disaster and the price was about 60 overall including a glass of wine and a beer, but don't think we'll be coming back. Nice enough, but there are better options available.
L. P.
Most attentive staff in chinatown. Eat your way through the dim sum menu and you shall not be disappointed.
Particular highlights include the char siu cheung fun, cuttlefish and congee.
H. P.
Great location, efficient service, not inordinately expensive and quite a comprehensive menu. We were happy to see that vegetarians were also well catered for and had a large variety of dishes to choose from. Decent sized portions.
R.
Food was really nice. Had the set meal C was good value for money a lot of food for the price. Waiters were quick. Wait wasn't long. Only thing to moan about was it was quiet cold inside and the tables were small for 4 people.
G. C.
Fantastic food. Brilliant service!!
D. W.
Very good dim sum served here at affordable rates. It's much bigger inside than it looks outside. They have a har gao with truffles which is quite interesting. Best to come in groups of 3 because a lot of dishes have 3 servings.
S. R.
Awesome 👌 and lovely food and service 😀😋😊 very happy 😊😀.
S. L.
The decor and set up of this place is really nice. We were served really quickly and the food came out quickly- a little too quickly which made me think that it wasn't really made fresh. I think there are better places to eat in Chinatown.
M. R.
Best brased mushrooms and veg. Best egg plants
P. N.
Had Chinese Year's eve dinner with my daughter@ this restaurant yesterday evening I booked a table for 7.30pm. I was shown to my cosy corner table despite being 10mins early & there was no hassle whilst I waited for another 15 minutes for my daughter to arrive. Good ambience, waiting staff were polite & friendly. It certainly made a difference as waiting staff in Chinese restaurants are generally not known for their charm or service! The dishes we ordered were good. The only gripe is our order of Steamed Sea bass with ginger & spring onions. We had nearly finished all our other dishes & the fish still didn't make an appearance. I had to enquire about it & was told that the steamed fish was left @ the bottom of the steamer for too long & was overcooked. I was told another fish will be put to steam. So we waited...finally when it was served, it was cold so had to send it back to the kitchen. Eventually we had our Steaming fish which by then, this saga had taken the enjoyment away. I would have cancelled the Steamed fish order were it not for the fact it's Chinese New Year & a Steamed fish dish is eaten for luck/ prosperity. Also there was hardly any visible ginger or spring onions on the fish. I would go back to give this place another go because it's one of the better restaurant amongst the lot in Chinatown. I will not order Steamed Fish! Also, this restaurant's bill is itemized so the pricing is transparent whereas most of the Chinese restaurant in Chinatown will present you with non itemised bill in Chinese & one is non the wiser whether service charge is included or whether one has been overcharged!
D. B.
This chinese restaurant is different to your usual because of the lovely decor and has a more upmarket feel to it but in terms of food it is average compared to other chinese restaurants in London like gold mine. I ordered 2 dim sum dishes which were pork siu mai and char siu cheung both was lovely but the sweet and sour chicken was a massive let down, small pieces which was mostly batter with hardly any chicken inside and because the pieces was so small the chicken i found was a bit dry, I also got half a roast duck which was good but not the best i have had. The staff are not so attentive just like most chinese restaurants seems like a common thing
A. C.
The restaurant is newly opened and beautifully decorated. The dim is authentic and absolutely delicious although it's a tiny bit more pricey then the other restaurants in Chinatown. I've been here a few times and have thoroughly enjoyed it.
m. b.
Followed a big ldn recommendation on this one, but unfortunately not as impressed as hoped.
J. J.
Went for yum cha for lunch, food was great. There are no trolley ladies pushing food carts so you pur your order on a peice of paper. Prices are reasonable, not cheap and not too expensive but expect to pay £15 to 20£ per person. A few cautions, you will not get a table if your entire group has not arrived, be careful of what you mark on your order, as they will not take the food away if you've accidentally make a stroke on the order form.
A. H.
Good food. Affordable
M. C.
The ultimate dim sum place in chinatown! I was missing Houston and wanted something to remind me of home. This was exactly it. My only regret is we ordered too much and couldn't eat it all. Sadly, since we were staying at a hotel, we couldn't take leftovers :(
H. L.
Best dim sim in chinatown!
T. L.
I love the seafood selection in this Chinatown london resturant
B. B.
Very good food and drink and staff excellent service
J. W.
I have been eating around Chinatown off and on for many years now, and never really found a restaurant i would call my favourite.
This changed on Thursday night when my wife and i dined here.
We opted for the seafood set menu, it was excellent, and one of the courses was lobster. This was cooked beautifully, and at such a reasonable price i could not fault it.
The food tasted fresh, and the chilli squid was also superb and seasoned on the heavy side- Which is just how i like it!
The scollops also deserve a mention, they actually tasted lovely and fresh and were cooked to perfection.
The service was amongst the best, in fact THE best i have ever received in Chinatown over many years, attentive, smiling and friendly staff made our night.
Thank you to all the hard working staff at the Orient!
S. D. M.
Excellent dim sum for reasonable prices. Staff were very friendly and efficient, the dim sum is really excellent and quite high on quantity. And prices aren't bad either (£20 per head including one drink for a pretty satisfying meal).
I. D.
Excellent came in late in the evening on a Friday but welcomed in, food and service excellent cannot fault.
S. S.
Amazing food, we ordered 4 set menus and the food was full of flavour and just kept coming, well worth the money. The staff are attentive and quick, definitely recommend if your visiting Chinatown.
S. B.
Came here for a birthday meal while visiting London. Food was fantastic, staff were friendly and efficient and overall it was a lovely meal. Would be back if we lived closer than we do.
J. H.
This is the best Chinese restaurant in Chinatown. They recently renovated which hugely improves the dining experience. Quality of food is above average. Service is OK but you can never expect too much from a Chinese restaurant in Chinatown if you want an authentic experience.
C. A.
We had dimsum here and my friend who is Chinese recommended this place as it can be "close" to authentic. We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The food is reasonably priced and you can benefit from very prompt service and refills of tea.
W. L.
Good Dim Sum place to go to. Would recommend. Toilet is a bit too compact though.
G. R.
Good food, nice and helpful staff.
V. D.
Amazing food at great price!
J. O.
Quality of dishes, food was excellent!!! Service professional & well informed on their dishes. I highly recommend Oriental London in China Town!!
R. P.
Amazing food as usual we always visit this place
N. S.
Nice Chinese, lovely soft shell crab but portions are on the smaller side and prices on the higher end compared to some other restaurants in the area. Nice decor and not dodgy like some china town restaurants can be. Lovely and friendly staff
J. L.
I’m from Hong Kong and this was the first place I’ve tried in London that was as good as the stuff back home. The dim sum is all really nice. Have been so many times now and will keep going there when I’m feeling homesick.
F.
They got post office too. And very nice shop for shopping
K. O.
Reviewed this restaurant which came up as 4.3/5. Definitely didn't disappoint. The best chinese we have had. Friendly attentive staff, super location and lovely clean restaurant.
S. C.
Excellent place.
Food beautifully presented and tasted great. Would recommend this place loads.
Staff friendly and helpful.
S. W.
Looks like this place is great for dimsum. For the aubergine in black bean sauce, not so much. Really oily. My mum had the lemon chicken which she thought was delicious.
C. K.
Fantastic as always, really enjoyed the food and the service was good. Ordered way too much so we had leftovers, but will definitely be back for more
J. C.
Fantastic food. We've been at many restaurants in China Town, and we visited at mid afternoon Saturday for dim sum and BBQ. Easily some of the best in China Town. Good service as well.
S. T.
The service was prompt but the waiting staff did not tell us that they would be charging tea per cup instead of the pot. It was a rude shock to have to pay more for the tea. I loved the dim sum as it was to perfection.
T. L.
Great food, quick and friendly service, reasonably priced too
L. D.
Will definitely return and recommend staff were welcoming and friendly service was very quick but the food was still fresh no complaints and very reasonably priced. Covid measures in place
K. S.
Ok environment and the food. No sake felt disappointing.
K. U.
Good food but pays to book in advance and eat at pace - they don't like you to hang about. It's very busy but the service is great
D. C.
Excellent food and efficient service. Generally there is a slight queue on weekends during lunch time but it's well worth the wait. We always leave full and completely satisfied.
S. T.
This is our usual Friday work lunch spot and we really loved Orient's previous incarnation, Jade Garden, so when they got a fancy refurb, we were initially sceptical. However, it's not all just about the style and the delicious dim sum is still served with a few new chefs specials too. The cold starter dish of baby octopus in spicy sauce with sesame is particularly good!
M. S.
I have been going here for over 25 years, and would give is six stars if i could. The dim sum is the best in Chinatown, and service to match. It used to be open under a different name (Jade Garden), and when they refurbished about five years ago i was really worried, but it turns out they just gave the place a refurbish and added a bunch of stuff to the menu without reducing the portions or raising the prices. If i was told i could only ever eat in one London restaurant ever again, when i'd finished crying i'd pick this one.
D. C.
Love the dumplings here, fast service
m. b.
Friendly staff!! Extensive menu. Alcohol served. Reasonable prices. Gorgeous Dim Sum. Child friendly. No need to book. Doggy bags no problem!
A. C.
Wonderful food, excellent service, the staff had no issue when we asked for some time between courses. Definitely worth a visit.
P. V.
Good food, fast service from respectful staff. The best of all is the atmosphere the restaurant creates. Truly astounding for a night out.
R. C.
Incredible food - the asparagus starter is the best starter I've ever had at a Chinese restaurant. Service can be a bit hit and miss but the food makes it more than worth it
K. F.
Great dim sum this weekend, really tasty and good portions. Wish they offered reservations, that would be so much more pleasant than standing out in the cold.
s.
Great food if you choose the right dishes.. Usually good service. Green do with improving the look and comfort
E. C.
Good food and great price! Great location in the heart of China town! I loved the crispy noodles and the spice aubergine! I would definitely go back.
P. S.
Average Cantonese food and value. In general the food is good and the service is quite fast. A descent choice if you are looking for Cantonese in London Chinatown.
L. C.
Great set menu C
L. S.
Dim Sum tasted decent if a little bland, but was very oily.
In order of preference
# 45 Taro croquette with pork - the best thing, and the only thing I'd order again. Still a little greasy, but flavorful pork, airy taro, and lightly crisp edges.
#2 Crystal king prawn dumplings with black truffle and XO Sauce - the truffle was nicely pronounced, but the XO had little seafood and was tough. The dumpling itself was nice and mild, though the skin was gummy.
#23 Shu Mai - standard
#10 Fried turnip cake with XO Sauce - same issue with the XO Sauce having little flavor. This was not the best way to do turnip cakes - anything could have been inside those deep fried squares.
#22 Scallop Dumplings - mild, but slightly overcooked
#24 Spare Ribs & Chicken Claws - too sweet, without enough garlic or black bean sauce flavor
#40 Thai Style Squid Cakes - This one's our fault for ordering it. Deep fried fish balls with sweet chili sauce were...bouncy.
W. B.
Very decent dim sum, standard Chinatown service (say no more) and since the recent renovation a quite nice interior. Overall a big recommendation just based on the selection, price and quality!
S. M.
Great food and very friendly staff. We're did over team Christmas get together here. Well recommended !
N. G.
I really enjoyed the Dim Sum there. The restaurant has really nice modern decor. The staff were friendly. I would definitely go back and I recommend this restaurant.
L. O.
Possibly the best value for money in Chinatown. Excellent menu and useful wine list. CHECK your bill AND the machine totals before paying.
Z. W.
we spent less than £15 per person for din sum and were stuffed. the quality is good too! as good as royal China which is pricier
S. S.
Good value for money. Not the most amazing dim sum but great for the price and def satisfactory. Service is always a bit dismissive but I still go back.
W. W.
One of the best restaurants in Chinatown. Good food and good price. I have been a regular for years. The restaurant has been renovated in recent years and the quality of food hasn't gone away.
s. s.
Delicious food and amazing staff and service. A lovely place to dine with polite friendly staf
m. a.
Best dim sum I've had recently. Nicely styled restaurant and not too pricey. Can't wait to go again
N. O.
Perfect location, various menu, very friendly staff and ambiance. Foods are delicious and prices are reasonable. Good for the couple at families even with kids..
P. S.
Favourite Chinese in China town . Elegant , clean superb service. The food is excellent very tasty. You know it's good when the Chinese eat here.
R. D.
Great taste and delicious food
C. F.
Excellent food, quality service
I. _.
Delicious Chinese food. A rather new restaurant in Chinatown but the dim sum is amazing. The menu however is all in Chinese but I'm not sure if they also have an English version.
S.
Loved it. The staff was lovely, very nice and welcoming. Nice food too I love their presentation. It's beautiful, worth checking out
E. E.
Incredibly attentive service and even better food!
M. N.
Excellent dim sum. Good selection. Reasonable prices.
Assume the service will be bad and the queues long and you can only be pleasantly surprised.
D. H.
Had set menu with friends which was had very generous portions and was and great tasting. Sad to have missed out on Dim Sum though. Maybe next time...
S. H.
Good food but portions were small for the price. Definitely order 3 dishes for 2 people.
A. A.
Excellent Chinese by London standards. Proactive, attentive service. Clams in XO sauce, crispy skin chicken and roast duck were particularly good.
S. A.
Very good Chinese restaurant.Food very well prepared and tasty. Staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely visit again.
P. B.
Pretty tasty food and decent service. Probably a little pricier than I would like, but I guess that's what you get for being on the edge of Leicester Square.
A. M.
Very busy restaurant, fast efficient service but seems rushed at times. Good and authentic Cantonese style, but not the best in Chinatown by any means.
V. A.
I took the menu C, 21£, and it was just great!
Big quantity, great taste mix taste, quick and nice service!
Just go there!
A. L.
Excellent. Best dim sum I've ever eaten. Beautiful décor. I remember it as the Jade Garden. What a transformation. Well done Patrick.
B. L.
A decent dim sum menu not filled with the usual China town items. Usual spot of a quick casual dim sum Sunday meet up.
D. R.
Great Chinese food. Prices rather high. Can recommend the place. Best dish: Crispy Aromatic Duck
A. D.
Good food love it.
J. S.
Great service and fantastic food. The staff are very friendly and it’s a great atmosphere. I’ll definitely be going back!
D. B.
A good meal which arrived quickly. Good service.

We had to wait about 30 minutes for a table but it was worth it. Their dim-sum are absolutely amazing and the service was very fast. Would definitely come back 😁
R. B.
Located in china town london . Food was very tasty and service was great. Set menu costs around £60.
T. R.
Nice and cozy place. Food was very good. The person who served us was very friendly and pleasant
L.
Amazing dim sum, I especially love the salted egg yolk buns which you don’t usually find in many other dim sum places
S. G.
The food was awesome! However a little bit more flair from the staff would have earned it a five star.
E. L.
Excellent food, ambience and service. Best amongst the rest in Chinatown. Will come back.
Z. L.
My go-to dim sum place! Very nice dim sum and service. Duck tongues and congee are delicious.
A. A.
Outstanding variety! We had Dim Sum and everything was great. Well prepared, good price.
d. C.
On the food side I want to give Orient London five star, but I really suggest they should change the reservation person cause he literally does not understand English and have any patient at all when I make reservation.
Q. M. L.
Really nice dim sum here. One of my favourite dim sum restaurants in London
M. L.
Possibly my favourite Chinese in London. Always delicious, and friendly service. Great dim sum.
L. F.
Great staff, polite and friendly. Food was served quickly and tasted great. Place was clean and up to standards

A. R.
Tasty, friendly and fresh. The stir fried Dover sole fillet is a killer.
A. R.
Excellent food. Set menu was varied and plentiful and really good quality
J. S.
Good food for a very reasonable price in China Town. Restaurant is very cramped and could do with some updated furniture and general decoration.
T. O.
Food was fantastic, the staff were very nice and it didn't hurt your pocket.
J. T.
Really good food and great ambiance

One of the good places where you can taste the very traditional Dim Sum dishes. Highly recommended.
m. y.
The food is good , however there is a Chinese guy called Osy who comes to greet me which I feel to can be quite uncomfortable at times
L. T.

C. L.
Huge portions that hits the spot
