Reviews of Parlour

Couldn't fault this for a Sunday Roast. Food was fab, service was impeccable, attentive but not in your face, efficient but with personality - couldn't ask for more. Starters were fresh, interesting, and very moreish. Shared mains platters just made sense, particularly when the meat was cooked that well (pork perfectly crackling crunchy, beef rare and succulent). Kids food was that perfect mix of sophisticated (looked good to us parents) and unfussy reworks of classics that kids love. Company was good, too!

This cozy restaurant pub has left the best impressions! The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Hospitable hosts, beautiful presentation, wide wine list and wonderful dessert. I recommend it to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again.
N. K.
The setting of the restaurant is very nice.
We had the roast platter and it was a great mix of meat ranging from beef over pork to chicken. Portions are perfect for when you’re hungry. There is a well decorated garden in the back of the restaurant. Despite its size the noise level is not too bad as the rooms are nicely separated.

One of the best brunches you can have in London. Super delicious food. Old pub turned into a very warm and welcoming place. Stuff is excellent. It's definitely worth the visit and be a regular.

We come here on Sundays and bring our dog. We love the food and the atmosphere. The service has always been lovely and their vegetarian options are delicious! A local treasure I am happy to live near.
Y. R.
Lovely atmosphere created by a very vibrant team. Food is also incredibly delicious. We had a chestnut hummus starter that was so so good and the roast is dreamy
B. T.
Great food, great atmosphere, great cocktails and really welcoming staff. Highly recommend
N.
What an amazing staff they have. Every single person was so nice and happy to help. Food was great. Absolutely loved the soda bread. I could have had bread and butter all night long. The chicken Kiev was fantastic filled with loads of garlicky butter. The cow pie was also very very tasty.
Z. P.
The roast was overall very good.
However the potato were tough, not crispy on the outside and not soft in the middle. Which was very disappointing but hopefully that was just an off day.
M. U.
Nice small back garden. Pricey but excellent food. A unique place in the neighbourhood.

Always a great experience. First time in over 3 years for Sunday lunch. Service spot on, food very consistent. And…that Soda bread 😛😛
K. T.
My partner and I had our wedding celebration dinner at Parlour with several of our friends recently and could not fault any aspect of it. We were so impressed by how attentive and friendly all of the staff were. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The food from the sharing menu was unique, plentiful and delicious and the atmosphere out back is lovely on a sunny day. We can not thank Jasmin and the other staff enough for making our wedding dinner so enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back and will not hesitate to recommend Parlour to others in the future!
C. K.
We came on new years day (hence the decorations in the restaurant). We had the vegetarian and vegan full breakfast (pictured) and they were both quite good. The unlimited self service bread station was great and probably the highlight of the meal. The oatmilk flat white was also pretty good.
A. C.
Such an amaizing place ! Food tastes great and looks beautiful, not your your usual Pub menu, lots of desert options to choose from, we always get some for take away as well.the staff are friendly and helpful and make you feel welcomed.the bill is worth the money 😀
C. H.
Came here for a friends birthday. It’s massive inside with loads of space. Brunch was lovely- would particular recommend the veggie breakfast (hash browns were 👌🏻). Staff were great. The unlimited bread bar is a great idea, but would have like more selection and another toaster!
L. F.
Secret garden in a local London pub, what more can you ask for. Had a rhubarb fool margarita...erm...yes please. Daughter felt very grown up with a non alcoholic martini that tasted divine. Friendly and accommodating staff as we didn't have a booking. The food looked really good but we didn't eat there. Wish we had. Will definitely return.

10 course tasting experience purchased through Truly Experiences. A fantastic evening with some amazing dishes.
I would highly recommend the tasting menu as you get to sample some unique flavours.
The service was fantastic and the staff explained the dishes well and answered all of my questions.
We were welcomed with a bottle of prosecco and a variety of flavoured potions to add and change the flavour of the prosecco.
The home made soda bread tasted amazing with the slight sweetness of black treacle and brown sugar.
The Salmon is smoked on site and was tasted great.
The cow pie was good and very rich. By this point I was feeling full and still had 3 more desserts to go.
A unique experience was the "Miracle Pill". A pill made from an African Berry which alters the palate and can change the taste of something from Sour to Sweet.
The whole experience was fantastic and would recommend this restaurant.
F. F.
This place absolutely knocked my socks off. The food is incredible. I'm really tempted to buy the cookbook. Try the Cow Pie and the Chestnut hummus for sure. We did a 10 course tasting menu for my friend's birthday and it was a proper exciting every time we saw the next course coming. The staff were super lovely and the decor is great. I'd absolutely recommend and plan to go back
R. F.
Great food, ambience and staff. Will be back
j. b.
Food was delicious.
Staff very welcoming and so were our dogs
C. W.
Lovely little backyard area. The nut roast was very rich and had a nice taste. I didn’t enjoy either of the two gravies that much but all in all a good roast.
The soda bread is absolutely amazing though! Such a good texture and taste. Loved the presentation on the wooden plate.
The dessert arctic roll was very tasty. The flavours offered to us were Original, Basil and Thai green curry. Interesting choices that you don’t find everyday and made for a nice dessert.
O. C.
Great Sunday lunch with a twist. Really nice cuts of meats all cooked really well. The roasties were a bit hard. 😳 Great vibe.
C. S.
Good coffee, excellent service, lovely vibe and amazing vegan breakfast - couldn’t fault it!
J. N.
Great place, 5 star staff! Reception & bar and waiters outstanding service. Especially Chris the bartender. We will be back definetley - great selection of the alcohold and fantastic cocktails
L. S.
Lovely vegan option for the main and great house wine too!
N. K.
Their posh roast is wonderful and they don't run out by 2pm like most places. Thanks to their sublime roast dinners, Parlour is a spark on otherwise mundane Sunday's.
C. P.
Really lovely brunch, especially liked the free gingerbread etc which you can toast yourself with various condiments. Nice little find in the area.
J. S.
Best fish and chips ever!!!
Lovely atmosphere great service and fabulous food, probably the best fish and chips in my life, twas gluten free too!!!
J. M.
Freddie & Zac's residency delivering fire in the kitchen. Tasting menu was a culinary adventure, a labrynth of flavour and imagination - a must try! Get yourself booked in on a Monday before they move on..
C.
Love the food, atmosphere and service here. Interesting menu too. We tried the seasonal lunch menu which was great value for money. 2 course = £15, 3 course = £18. Unlimited yesterday's bread with different types of spread.
J. C.
Amazing food, very friendly staff, good selection of wines and beers as well as cocktails. Went my mum's birthday and they brought out a load of Arctic rolls for dessert!
V. V.
Thoroughly enjoyed my brunch in here. All beautifully presented and very tasty. Staff on the ball and efficient. Day Old bread toast bar is the way to go. Coffee was well made.
Will be back no doubt about it when the sun is shining and can make use of the back garden.
J. D.
Amazing food for an amazing price.
The only reason this is 4 stars and not 5 is because there was a rather strong smell of sewerage in the outdoor seating area. This is most likely due to the recent flooding in the area. I would not want to judge them too harshly for something that is not their fault. It should be fixed ASAP though.
T. J.
British food at it's best. Chefs table is great fun!
I. D.
Amazing Sunday roast that has pleased today the whole family from 8 to 80 years old! Very friendly and professional staff, wonderful soda bread, warm and cosy ambiance, clients happy around us... what else?!
E. H.
Lovely breakfast! Unlimited toast, with banana bread, gingerbread and flapjack for free - really yummy.
K. N.
The food was delicious, the staff were super friendly and attentive and there was a great atmosphere. Definitely coming back!
J. S.
One of my favorite bunches in West London. Veg breakfast is on point, nice flavours, lovely butter!
s. r.
Fantastic lunch ,food delicious, bread is out of this world, very friendly, helpful staff and dog friendly
S. A.
Shabby chic decor works well in this hipster-esque pub. All day brunch is not to be missed (get the bloody merry too)!
P. L.
Excellent service and deliciously interesting food
F. A.
We came this morning for a vegetarian breakfast and although it was a little pricey, what we received tasted amazing and well worth the price. Have a look at these picture and tell me you don’t want this for breakfast.
N. S.
Really good brunch experience. Great price for meal portion. Great quality of food. Did not disappoint.
D. C.
The pub is absolutely amazing. The people there are always friendly and have our food ready to go. Not to mention the cookies there are always a nice treat and family activity after the roast. We've been a few times already during COVID and can't wait to be back for more, especially when we can visit for a sit down Sunday roast!
D. G.
Very slow service and food was slightly disappointing. Have had good meals and brunches here before so hope it was just a bad night.
G. M.
The best Sunday roast ever! Great atmosphere and friendly staff.
S.
Really nice beer garden and great food. They also have a very impressive selection of arctic rolls, with flavours including streaky bacon, toffee popcorn and tomato & basil! They even give you a card on your birthday, what's not to like?
N. R.
Unreal service, recommending drinks and food, really take care of you. Kind of place where the staff make you feel so welcome you never want to leave. Little Creatures on tap and frozen margarita, what more could you want!
A. B. S.
Great Sunday roast and good drinks. Very nice staff and atmosphere
V.
There really is (no subs)titute for this place. Hands down the best breakfast place in the area + I can also vouch for their roasts.
S. B.
Great food, as always.
A. M.
Such friendly service, and all beautiful too! Thank you so much for taking such good care of us.

I have been a couple times there to have lunch/dinner. Their homemade irish soda bread and butter is to die for 😍 you now sell them for takeaway in case you do not have enough and want to take some home ( they probably have for a long long time but I am not such a frequent visitor).
It seems they have extended the range of products they have on sale and there is duck pate, veggies, eggs, some cookie dough, icecream, wine etc.
I had their burger today. A tip- it is not on the menu, you need to ask for it 😆 shh..do not tell them I gave the secret away. The burger was juice and came accompanies by salad ( usually with chips but I asked for substitute as I have potato intolerance...)
Tried their vegan brownie with oat milk icecream and strawberies. The combination of strawbery, icecream and basil makes for a perfect storm. It takes away from the brownie sweetness. It creates a seemingly weird (for me...not a food expert but covid has certainly made me appreciate food more) but perfect combination where each ingredient elevates the taste of others. Like symbiosis but for food 😆 one downsize- I like my brownie a little softer... My friend had their salmon with veggies. The fish portion was generous.
All dishes come decorated so they are pleasure for the eyes as much for your belly.
I guess nobody asked for my long review- blame it on the dessert with basil. I got inspired! I am sure the rest of their menu is as amazing ( have not visited for over a year due to covid so do not remember what I had to comment in details).
The staff is always friendly and have always been this way. I do recommend you book a few days in advance or more as they seem to be quite busy.
They also have a garden which is lovely..we usually sit in the garden.
They also do lunch menu...
B.
Lovely hipster spot offering great food, delicious beers & wines. You can order a Sunday roast to take away, or you can pick up one of their super simple bread making kits. Clearly really loved by the locals - can't wait to visit properly post-lockdown!
N. W.
Nice venue and friendly staff. Full english breakfast was decent albeit priced a little bit more than it was worth. Still I would have been fine with this.
However, I cannot get past the full veggie breakfast that we ordered. A completely weird combination that included pickled roasted veg, an inedible courgette stem, tasteless avocado and no protein substitute for the bacon/sausage. Whilst the toast was tasty the rest of it was just a very odd mix that just didn't represent a good veggie equivalent of a full english. A confused mess of a dish and charged at the same price as the meaty equivalent! Either state the ingredients or don't call it a veggie full english because it isn't.
G. T.
Really nice food, drinks and desserts. Overall, I had a really nice experience here.
Q. C.
Excellent brunch and wonderful staff. It's a little bit pricey but the quality is there. The salmon was excellent and a better value than other London hype brunches. The duck profiteroles were a good surprise even if the gooseberry sauce was a wee bit too tart. English breakfast (half Nelson pictured) does the Job but doesn't beat Sunday's (no one does so far) but the hummus was the true surprise. Simply delicious. The past-day bread bar is a good idea at a good value. The back garden well organised and a delight to be seated there.
L. H.
Delish food, friendly and fun service, relaxed and welcoming environment. I visit almost every week! Love it here!
M. G.
Best English breakfast I've ever had, by far! Even the tomatoes taste like heaven, highly recommend it. The place is very cosy and staff is just amazing. I'm coming for hangover breakfast tomorrow, that's for sure!
t. h.
Foods ok apart from the starter popcorn chicken or to break it down its actually pop corn chicken/Turkey. Its
Actual pop corn and a few piece of chicken, sorry turkey very weird.
All the same well done for trying something new.

Came here with my partner. The place has very kitsch decor and wide tables, making it feel very homely and cozy. Nice selection of non alcoholic and alcoholic drinks! The punch less pomegranate (can't remember the real name) was amazing was presented very well. Their homemade gin was also delightfully fruity and smooth. There wasn't a strong gin alcohol taste so if you like shots or double shot g&t this isn't for you.
That damn soda bread with fresh butter OOF IT WAS SO CREAMY. The soda bread as a free side with the fresh butter was like eating a fresh cream cake, very moist and just glides into your mouth.
We ordered the pheasant and steak for main course. The steak was a 350-400g sirloin with chips and salad for £27. Came with 3 butters and 3 choices of mustard too!! I first wondered if all these sauces and butters were to just mask the cheaper cut of steak but no, the steak by itself was cooked to medium rare perfection.
Dessert we had the apple souffle and peanut butter artic roll. The souffle was perfectly fluffy and light with an apple sorbet to accompany. The artic roll was a bit hard but was blown away by the rest of the meal I don't really care at that point.
Overall 10/10 experience, I would come here again even if it's out of my way. Was £35 ish overall per person including drinks, starter, main and dessert. Well worth it. Service was also great hello super tall waiter if you're reading this.
А. К.
Nice and cozy, inside garden is very romantic. Service is good, food is very tasty
T. R.
Amazing food, even better service. Waitress Blondine is incredible, amazing service, she goes above and beyond and makes the customer feel like a friend. What a babe. Couldn’t rate her more highly. Will definitely be returning!
N. E.
Oh my days what an awesome breakfast! Good size portions and tasty as hell! Dont forget about the bread bar great bread with everything you need (my personal preference is peanut butter and nutella).
The only thing I might fault them on was the speed of the hot drinks but it was busy so I will give them the benifit of the doubt.
Overall really liked it and definitely going to go again!
T. N.
Lovely outdoor garden and great service
S. R.
My family and I have just spent the late afternoon here for my Mum's wake. Not only dose it have a really nice ambience, but the service was excellent and the food delicious. Disabled access is available if you let them know, so they can put the ramp out. The staff were the perfect mix of efficiency , warmth and professional service. I can highly recommend a visit.
J. R.
Amazing food and service all the time. Can't miss this gem in W9. -;)
E. P.
Great food - try the duck profiteroles
M. R.
Cosy restaurant and pub for a drink or dinner.Tasty food, service is friendly, but really overpriced.
K. D.
Love this place, great for brunch - good prices and great drinks selection
k.
I enjoyed a delicious vegan breakfast here with my son and his girlfriend
K. L.
I have to leave a review as the staff are really super great! .. If I've got your name wrong then sorry, but Barret was great. Really nice guy, made us both welcome and super helpful.
Great experience
D. K.
Normally get brunch from here on the weekend and it's the best I've had in London. Great atmosphere, really nice outside area, good coffee and the food is exceptional
C. C.
Lovely place. Had a kids birthday party and we were very well looked after. The food is great with such delights as actually having popcorn mixed with the popcorn chicken!.. kkds loved it, and so did the adults.
F. T.
Spacious indoors space and a Lovely beer garden, quiet and clean and the food was not the typical pub food.
We loved going there after the covid outbreak as it's not crowded and we were happy to see that all safety measures were in place. Possibly one of the best pubs if you are in the area
H. A.
Amazing food and great service, loved the truffled custard and the arctic rolls! Excellent house wine and cocktails, we'll definitely come back!
S. T. S.
Parlour is one of our Kensal Rise faves! The brunch here is out of this world and the Roast is rather scrumptious too! The little outside seating area is beautiful (weather permitting!) and inside has a lovely atmosphere too. Special shout out to Kylem who made our trip extra special today! Nothing was too much trouble and his service and friendliness were 👌 Thank you so much!
C. R.
Lovely Sunday roast
R. S.
Great and cozy pub with really nice prices 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
A. K.
What a great place this is! We went there on Valentine's Day with my wife and had a most pleasurable dinner. Very nice environment, comfortable and with a lot of space between tables allowing you to talk without being easily overheard. Very friendly service. But all this would not matter if the food was not as good as it was. What can I say? The Steak Tartare was a revelation! The Chicken Kyiv excellent. We decided to share the ‘Back Door’ Smoked Salmon and this was a very wise decision. We also chose the house wine which was very-very good and nicely priced. We will certainly be going back, it has a great garden to take advantage of especially when the weather is good. So it is full points to this very nice place from us.
G. M.
Honestly the most delicious and fun food I've eaten. Beautiful restaurant, such a hidden gem for the area. The staff are so polite and humble - I leave with nothing but positive energy from the whole experience 🙌
J.
We decided to go for brunch here after hearing about this place. Unfortunately, my wife and I are participating in this Veganary thing for January.
I’m a big meat eater and so finding a good vegan breakfast for me is quite challenging. However, the vegan breakfast was just wow. I was very impressed, oh and the hush browns were amazing.
Definitely recommend.
S. B.
Fantastic food, great drinks, and chilled atmosphere. A really good night out!
M. F.
I usually enjoy this place a lot, for its atmosphere, innovative servings, relaxed and friendly service. The menu never fails to excite. But quality is not 100% reliable. The last time we went, with friends, the home-made soda bread was excellent as always, and the starters were brilliant. But a fish pie main course was so salty it was almost inedible, and one of the rhubarb desserts was dislikeable. Oh well… I’ll still go back, but maybe not for a hugely important occasion.
D. C.
Our new best local place. Wonderful food, excellent service and nice and warm environment.
Highly recommended!
J. L.
If you want to feel transported beyond lockdown, even just for a few minutes, Parlour has created a takeaway experience with all of the warmth and atmosphere of your favourite local. DIY artisanal bread kits... delicious coffee...takeaway cookie dough, roasts, and TV dinners. Even comfy hoodies for £30. Would be a 5 star if not for steep prices on cans/bottles of beer.
D. C.
Food was ok. I had a pie that wasn't my favourite. Everyone else had beef with all the trimmings. Looked amazing. I did order a Yorkshire which was great. I didn't pay the bill but it averaged out to around £33 a head with no starter and one bottle of wine. That was 4 people eating from off adult menu and one off child. 3 people chose desserts
R.
This place is absolutely gorgeous! The food here was amazing, the flavours were beautiful and really well balanced, I honestly couldn't fault it! The beef tartare is not only generous but stunningly tastey, their homemade treacle bread is incredibly addictive and the blue cheese custard dish was divine, I absolutely loved the quirky and interesting selection of dipping bits. Not only was the quality of food second to none but the service was absolutely amazing. The guys really looked after us and were polite, friendly and funny. Hats off to you guys and thank you for a lovely meal, definitely one of the top places I've been in London. Whoever owns this place should be very lroud.
O. N. (.
Breakfast was delicious. They have an outdoor garden to have meals at. Waiters and waitresses there are super friendly!
Best part of it is that they have half-size parlour breakfasts which are great for people with smaller appetites!
C. B.
We've just had my wife's 40th Birthday party here and seeing some friends for the first time in over a year. The staff helped to make it a very special night, they were friendly and accommodating, handling a few 'excited' people well and with a smile. The food was delicious! I tried some of the blue cheese custard, unusual and yummy with a great variety of fresh raw veg to dip into it. Then the desperate Dan pie and some of the chicken Kiev. Both seasoned well, the right temperature and lovely flavours, both spot on, i wouldn't know what to recommend as it was all so nice! The mocktails were brilliant, good combination of flavours and looked fab, I was pleased I was driving so I got to try them, a special gem. The place had a lovely vibe, interesting decor, good lighting and good sound levels for their music. Thank you so much to all staff that night! We will be recommending you to everyone.
E. T.
Absolutley fantastic! We booked a table for 1:30, arrived slightly early and waited at the bar. The staff gave us drinks on the house for our wait, which we didn't ask for but thought was fantastic service! We opted for the roast platter for 2 and a starter of popcorn chicken of which absolutley defeated us and we cancelled our plans afterwards to go home and sleep! Fantastic food, fantastic service. My only 'moan' would be that we were on a table quite close to the bar and a party who where supposed to be in the function room kept taking over our space and making us feel quite cramped. Absolutley no reflection on the wonderful staff, however. We will be back with friends 😁❤️
R. G.
May not look like much from the outside but inside is lovely and warm and welcoming. Great food, friendly service. Would recommend.
M. C.
Best spot in the area. Fantastic food and exceptional service. The chestnut humus blew me away!
N. W.
Nice food, great cocktails, super vibe and helpful staff. Fantastic find.
A. P.
Great food. Relaxed atmosphere and really friendly helpful staff. Loved the ready mixed old fashioned too - what a treat!
K.
I have never had such brilliant service In my life I would come to this pub just for Blondine! The food is also brilliant but she made an effort above and beyond anything anyone would expect especially given the current circumstances!
E. R.
Brilliant! We went for a drink and desert. I loved the expresso martini and the Artic rolls. Atmosphere was nice and cosy. Very nice staff. Definitely will come back for lunch.
m.
Not long ago I attended a catch up here with a large group of friends, I arrived later in the evening and all the food they had ordered was gone.
As it was late I asked the bartender if the kitchen was still open. I believe her name was Blandine, I was so hungry and tired from work I guess she could tell and her inner empath kicked in.
She grabbed what she could and I was fed well. She even put aside the time to explain that certain foods were more filling than others and how she recommended I pair them.
To top it all off it was all complimentary. I didn't get a chance to properly thank her but I spoke to other staff membersd they all seemed to share the same aura.
Lovely place, full of lovely people. Highly recommended.
N.
Amazing! I love this place and have been many times. Had a luncheon party of 20 for a birthday and they really looked after all of us, kids as well. Very reasonable sharing menu, easy and so delicious. Really delicious! Great service, great food, great atmosphere. Try everything!
E. B.
Tucker was really lovely, went over and above, we're still enjoying the chef made rolos (dark chocolate truffles with salted caramel inside 😋). The roast with all meats for two was delicious, plenty of super tasty gravy, tender meat, pork crackling, Yorkshire, applesauce with cinnamon... I mean what more do you want with a roast?! Doggy bag was a nice touch for the leftovers.
S. T.
One of the best brunch places in the world? Quite possibly. If you're not from the area believe me it is worth the trip and easily worth the expense. Service is excellent, atmosphere is wonderful and food is mouth watering. Great coffee and beer too... a gem.
D. L.
Great food, amazing coffee - had a flat white with oats milk and it was nice and strong without being bitter.. The best I've had in a long time! The staff was really lovely too and the place was super dog friendly!
J. V.
Love the place. Great food, great atmosphere. Lovely staff. All in all, real jam in neighborhood
C. C.
Good food and nice surroundings but truly appalling service. No cutlery to waiting 30mins for bottle of wine. Maitre’d seemed high or overwhelmed. Restaurant was not full. Get your act together. If you are short staffed let your full paying clients know to reduce their expectations don’t just ignore them. Basic stuff. So much competition for our hard earned why would we come back?
A. D.
Excellent food and drink with reasonable pricing. You won't get such value in Central London, so do bother to get on a train and visit this place. Parlour manages to combine traditional cooking with great innovation, with excellent results.
J. J. (.
Awesome food great space and amazing staff. Would recommend to anyone

Came here with family for a private event. Everything was lovely! The food was excellent. The service was impeccable. Our server, Blondie, was extremely attentive and helped to make our meal special.
p.
Perfect place for Sunday roast with children
P. H.
Amazing food and great value for the level of cooking on offer, on top of just the food the service and staff are always great and it's a nice place for just a pint too.
W. P.
Delicious food. Be sure to be hungry. Cow pie - a favourite
A. S.
Lovely restaurant with good food and vibes. They are open all day so we find the perfect place for last minute lunches. Our favourite: the Duck Liver profiteroles.
H. R.
Incredible food. Beautiful venue and great staff. Couldn't recommend highly enough.
A. J. T.
Great food and great atmosphere. However, chef seems to love salt a bit too much. Had the cow pie and it was like eating the ocean
J. L. L. A.
Love this place. My absolute favorite local place to have a nice quality dinner or lunch at a really reasonable price. I take everyone that visits here and no one is disappointed. Staff is really friendly, young and fresh, which makes the atmosphere even better! Highly recommended
S. G.
One of my fav restaurants.
Relentlessly good service, great drinks and a secret burger (not on the menu).
I've visited a few times before and everything's excellent every time.
Try and book in advance because you'll get better seating.
N. W.
Unusual pub with garden tucked away, well worth a visit. Interesting and fairly experimental menu, not cheap. Pie was excellent, as was the Not In Hill cocktail. Service very friendly and knowledgeable, though not the most efficient.
S. H.

The food is great, beautifully presented. I just wish the place was cleaner considering the current situation. The benches were so dirty and the tables should have been wiped down properly!

Really nice and cosy atmosphere, menu had nice choices.
Prices are a little above average but the food was well presented and tasted good.

Very nice place overall! However, one of the waitresses looked absent-minded or deaf, cause she ignored everything we ordered, brought us what she decided to instead, and took away glasses-half full.

I don't want to tell you how amazing this place is because I'd hate it to be overrun with people! But Parlour is hands down the best brunch in London. Friendly service, perfect food, great bloody mary's, freshbaked bread table (!), reasonable prices... Can't wait to go back!

Just loving this place. Staff is just awesome. I booked a table for birthday of my partner but apparently booked wrong place. When we showed up they told they don't have my booking but magical, with luck as well, they sorted it for us. They saved my day.
Ambience, food and staff.. what else you need from a Gastro pub?.
R. J.
Great brunch spot. Soda bread of dreams.
Updating my review as these guys have been amazing during the lockdown - friendly, efficient and great quality. All the products you need, reasonably priced and all without having to deal with queues and too much social contact. Thanks again to all involved.

Cosy pub serving good food. I had the pea and mint risotto while my wife had the grilled mackerel both of which were very good.
L. A.
I loved the menu item for making toast from yesterday's bread - and for just £1! The most amazing bread, a great way to reduce food waste. Just one of the excellent things on the menu in this tucked away gem of a place.
M. H.

Best local restaurant in my view with an interesting menu and an extensive choice of beers and wines. The dinning rooms are nicely decorated with vintage furnitures, while the staff is full of attention.

Honestly the tastiest and friendliest joint in west London. Great beers, fantastic food. Just the bread alone is enough to keep me coming back.
K. M.
Incredible breakfast, will be coming back to try the garden for evening drinks...
N. C.
Went for breakfast, amazing full english, great staff, highly recommended
A. C.
Parlour can be up and down, the menu is always seasonal and highly creative, but sometimes the execution is lacking. This Friday they were on top form, beautiful dishes, perfect atmosphere and delicious!
D. G.
Luv this place, whether it be for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner always had a great experience. Great food and drink with excellent service, I highly recommend.
B. A.
We had a great meal here last night. Really nice. More than the food, however, was the service. From the booking (smooth, easy, no problem re-arranging the time etc) to the table we were given (brilliantly seated, with easy access for kids). The waiter was extremely attentive - and they ensured kids were given food first - along with paper, crayons etc etc to entertain them.
They allowed us to sample different wines before choosing, nothing was too much trouble at all. The food was good. The kids menu wasn't just chips but a good varied amount of food for the little ones. At the end of the meal, the waiter brought out a handwritten card to our Guest of Honour who had just graduated - signed by all the staff at The Palour.
I was bowled over by the good service here last night. Good food, amazing service, great setting. Highly recommended.
E. K.
Perfectly run! Great atmosphere, Delicious food! They make beautiful soda bread!!!

A favourite spot. The staff are friendly and accommodating, the food is delicious and the atmosphere warm. A particular Sunday best - the roasts are to die for.
S. G.
Great service and lovely festive cosey ambience. The food looked on the small size, but was enough and full of flavour.

Where to begin! I first visited Parlour in Kensal Rise roughly a month ago, and since then I have returned for breakfast, lunch, dinner and of course on a Sunday for one of their famous Sunday roasts! I have lived locally in Queens Park for many years, and this is by far the best place I've been to within the area, and its surrounding ones. The food is always impeccable, the drinks are always amazing, and the service is always incredibly attentive. The versatility and quality of the food way surpasses most expectations, and Parlour is performing at a level that most restaurants round here haven't caught up to. The atmosphere is amazing, its child and animal friendly, the staff ensure that you never want for anything. We recently went for a friends birthday and they presented the idea of a sharing menu, which meant we where showered with a selection of amazing starters, and of course individual mains. We were slightly unprepared in terms of a birthday cake for the guest of honor, but the staff weren't. They quickly arranged a gorgeous desert, with candles, they came out and sang happy birthday, they encouraged the whole restaurant to join in, then to top it off they gave the guest of honor a birthday card, signed by all the members of staff. The food itself was incredible everything from the presentation, to the various combinations of flavours and textures was out of this world. I can't stop raving about it to all my friends, and would recommend this place to anyone, as it caters for all needs and ages, from their amazing food, incredible selection of drinks, and chilled atmosphere, this place is a must for any real foodie, Its a must try!!
G. C.
This place is ridiculously good. The food is so delicious and the staff are super friendly and happy... couldn't recommend this place more, if I could give 10 stars I would ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
M. E. *.
Yummy brunch with a free bread bar of yesterday's bread... What more can you ask for? Parking available in the residential streets on Sunday. Good service, appears very hipster but not up itself at all.
K. H.
Food was amazing and great atmosphere. Try the cow pie.
X. K.
Nice garden and gourmet British food. Attentive service.
C. R.
Great food which isn't just cooked well but is actually interesting and exciting. Make sure to leave room for the deserts and the homemade rolos.
M. M.
First visit to parlour. Nice atmosphere unique style.
Parking is a massive problem as the little street is double yellow.
S. M.
Amazing coffee, delightful staff and the food is pretty and delicious! Decor is also beautiful. Such a great find in the inner west of London
K. B.
I had my birthday afternoon party there and I loved the food and cocktails! The dishes are not big but all very tasty and super interesting combinations. They also let me and my friends do a bit of arts and crafts and were very flexible with the time! I would give 5 stars for that if the waiters had been a bit more attentive and if they had told me in advance that the kitchen was closed for an hour while we were there. Other than that: very very lovely place!
E. B.
Best atmosphere, great food, beautiful interior & wonderful Querky Quiz EVERY Wednesday night at 7.30pm

M. W.
Blondine is a babe! Food was amazing, service great, I’ll be coming back!!
I. K.
Nice place tucked away along a quiet small lane. Eclectic menu and our main regret is not having any space for dessert. Went for brunch on the wkend and didnt hv to wait for a table. Service was pretty good though not so great if you are in a rush. Food was yummy. Excellent fish soup - presentation was so pretty. Also had the big breakfast which comes with free flow of awesome bread. Gingerbread was awesome.
C. S.
Great food. Lovely staff.
D. S.
Great food, with a good variety of brunch options at varying prices. The bar is big and open with two main rooms - one more dining and one more casual. However if the weather is nice, the outdoor courtyard is a small but nice area to have breakfast or lunch. It would be nice to see a wider variety of breakfast items aside from cooked (i.e. yoghurt, etc) but that's a minor aside.
K. E.
Very happy that Parlour is my nearest and dearest restaurant. I have been a dozen times and, thanks to the evolving menu, I plan to continue. The Modern British food is generally at a high standard, and misses are very rare. It's hard to beat for value if you get the three course set lunch for £18. My one complaint is that the chefs try too hard to be clever. They waste effort on deconstructing and presenting and punning which could be spent on improving the flavours and textures. Another issue: the breakfasts are, by comparison with lunch and dinner, a little boring and underwhelming and worse value too. Ending on a positive note, because I love the place, you must try the Soda bread and the chestnut hummus and the soups. Oh god if you see fresh pea soup, or cold tomato soup on the menu... I could go on listing great dishes forever, so I won't even start.
D. C.
Really sweet place . Love the outdoor dining area .Brilliant food and service . The chap waiting on us was a diamond and couldn't do enough. Completely ravenous and told the full breakfast was a winner . I hit it like a wounded Rhino and it was completely sweet. I only have one gripe and that is serving it in a metal bowl , it seems very odd guys and that's coming from a stoner 😉. You deserve 5 stars 👍👌😆

Parlour is great and "The Greyhound Pub" building is really kind of deco looking.
Popped in for a bite with my wife, very pleased it was very good service, friendly and will go again.
Highly recommended

Really friendly relaxed atmosphere here for a Sunday morning brunch. With a bread station and an extensive menu it's a tough choice for what to go for. The Parlour is family friendly.

R. O. M.
Amazing breakfast/brunch!
The breads are delicious 😋!
I. J.
Amazing food, atmosphere and staff. Garden in the back, lots of indoor space. Lots of kids Sunday lunchtime.
L. C.
The Parlour is slightly off the beaten track. It has a large seating area, with bar seating and an outdoor dining area further in.
The menu is delightfully playful. We had a fish soup and a full breakfast. The fish soup was poured over a puffed cracker, which, when mixed with the caviar and salmon roe, gave a delightful flavour to the slightly bland soup. All in all, an unexpectedly great dish.
The full breakfast came with all the routine trimmings. A special shout out goes to the inclusion of a serve yourself bread table. The soda bread had a hint of honey and was fluffy without being overly crumbly. Gingerbread was included at the bread table and that was equally addictive.
Definitely a place worth visiting again, especially to try out the intriguing looking dessert menu.
D. H.
Knew it as a great bar/restaurant, in lockdown it has been a saviour for supplying bread flour, steak etc.
N. D.
Lovely garden. Great food, very popular Sunday roasts.

Liked the decor and food, service was really slow unfortunately. Staff were also very nice so a real shame about the service time.
J. P.
Really great Sunday lunch and a great spot for a relaxed dinner. The cow pie and chicken Kiev are top picks. Desserts are not as strong...
K. B.
Went to Parlour this morning for a bit of breakfast with mum and a neighbour. The staff were incredibly lovely and the atmosphere was so relaxed and chilled, which was wonderful considering the heat outside!
I had the bacon roll in a brioche bun with a sausage side and it was absolutely scrummy. Food was cooked fresh to order and was juicy. The orange juice was absolutely gorgeous and for the three of us, the end bill was perfect... even if they did add on the 12.5% tip a bit presumptuously! Would definitely recommend and will plan to try their lunch/dinner menus in the near future.
m. m.
It was buzzing. Clean, lots of staff, good good, generous portions.
N. Y.
Had a birthday breakfast here. My wife asked them to "stick a candle in a piece of bread or something". Instead they brought out some epic ice-cream roulade (with candles in) and gave me a load of super tasty chocolates. They also gave me a card. (I think they love me more than she does.)
Oh, the food is ridiculously good too. 'That soda bread' is mind-blowing.
H. D.
Fantasticly creative modern British food

We met up with friends for breakfast, and although the service was a bit slow, we all loved the food!
The whole restaurant had a very relaxed and laidback atmosphere, and we felt right at home. However, the staff members took a while to take our order which tested the patience of our hungry stomachs.
The menu looked cheeky, and not necessarily in the best of ways. I'm not a fan of egg, and I always substitute it for sausage or extra beans in other restaurants. However, on their menu they specifically say that this is impossible, dubbing it 'The (No-Subs) Full Parlour Breakfast'.
I'm sure most people don't mind, but this restriction went against the comfortable, casual atmosphere I had enjoyed up to that realisation. Of course, I still ordered it because I love every other element of a Full English - and my partner really enjoyed my poached eggs.
Besides this setback, what I did eat was great overall. The mushroom was juicy, and suitably earthy. There was a LOT of bacon, which I always appreciate, and the sausage worked fantastically with the tomato. The hash browns were exactly as I like them, soft and fluffy - perfect for soaking up bean sauce. And the portion of beans was sufficient - which was a lovely surprise. I usually have to run out of beans early on in the breakfast, but these beans lasted.
The 'Yesterday's Bread' station where you can toast to your liking is a fun and novel idea. However, I found the toaster a bit unwieldy. I'm sure a more modern toaster would detract from the rustic environment they're trying to portray, but a few of my slices were a bit on the burnt side due to the imprecise nature of the appliance. Though it must be said that the bread was amazing. The non-burnt slices were crunchy, and the butter was perfect. I also helped myself to a soda-bread roll, which was thick and doughy, and I enjoyed soaking up the beans with it.
Again, it took us a while to get the attention of the staff and the bill after finishing the meal, but beside the slow service, this is a place that definitely warrants a visit.
K. B.
Fantastic evening, fabulous food and great service- duck profitteroles and the cow pie were amazing!

Parlour in Kensal Green is an oustanding restaurant somewhat off the beaten track. Its Sunday roast is reason enough to make a little journey - it really is exceptionally delicious.
I was once for a private dinner event at Parlour and then went back almost a year later for the Sunday Roast.
Parlour in Kensal Green is classy and modern at the same time. The interior looks simple and beautiful with a few interesting touches here and there. The restaurant is just lovely, not least thanks to the cute dogs that were sitting, or rather lying, next to me.
Perfectly suited for a Sunday roast, there was a table full of papers, so you easily find something to read in case your did not bring your favourite magazine or newspaper with you.
Unconventionally, at least if you compare it to your average pub, I started my roast with bread and butter. I found the bread slightly too sweet, however it was really tasty and the coarse-grained salt on the table just added to the pleasure.
My starter was a somehwat playful chicken popcorn thing. It was delicious and fun with a hint of mustard seed. This is usually not a flavour I like a lot, but in this dish it was well-balanced with the other spices and ingredients, the combination of it all resulted in delightful taste.
On that week, they offered a duck breast roast, nothing I came across very often before. This was truly one of the best Sunday roasts ever made. Like everyone expects from a decent roast, it came with lots of tasty gravy, and I made it my duty to finish it all. The duck was not dry at all and full of great flavour. It came with blood orange juice from roasted blood oranges, and this was a heavenly revelation of a sauce.
The roast came with the standard trimmings, made to the highest quality. The potatoes were just as perfect as the duck, crunchy on the outside and a pure pleasure to eat with a bit of pepper and salt, drowned in the beautiful gravy.
The Yorkshire pudding was also very good, especially to finish off the gravy. And the carrots were thick, well-prepared with a bite - simply a good side.
The roast came with a confit duck leg as a very welcomed bonus. However, the indulgence did not stop here, they also added a kind of pressed duck patty to the mix. It was pretty salty, but also delightful.
The Picpoul de Pinet that was recommended to me when I asked for a white wine was lovely and worked together with the food for me.
According to the menu, Parlour serves Allpress coffee. As this is one of my favourite roasteries, I ordered a cup. The coffee was alright for a restaurant. It actually was a good effort and better most other restaurant coffees I've had.
The one thing that upset me a little bit was that they gave me the dessert menu full of tasty dishes, and then kind of forgot to ask if I actually wanted to order a dessert. But then, I was probably too full anyway after the roast, so I was happy to leave without a dessert.
Parlour is a beautiful place. I yet have to go there for a normal dinner, the food at the private function was great. And the duck roast was one of the best Sunday roasts I can imagine. So far, all I can say is that everything is simply done without a fault and served in a beautiful restaurant with a friendly atmosphere.

They do a great brunch in easy going atmosphere
A. W.
The best Sunday lunch in west London.
S. r.
Love there soup. Grate service
T. R.
There is a help yourself bread station here with all different kinds of bread including a very delicious, moist banana bread. This is really what made the breakfast stand out for me. It's nice to have that kind of selection and to also have a range of condiments like Nutella and peanut butter available. It's a choose your own adventure breakfast! The cooked breakfast was lovely and well presented, with big juicy sausages and plump tomatoes. The only downside were that the eggs were a little bit watery but apart from that we loved our breakfast here. My friend also tried the duck scratchings and she hasn't stopped banging on about them since we left.
The Parkour has a very relaxed atmosphere and is a lovely way to spend your Sunday morning, especially as they have an ample supply of Sunday newspapers. The staff are friendly and attentive. The only downside for us was that it seems to be a favourite spot of people with young children who can't behave. Hopefully this was just our bad luck in timing as it seems a shame to have a lovely spot like that ruined!

If you manage to understand the menu, then well done, you are probably a doctor in astrophysics. Once you pass that hurdle, it is indeed full of little gems. The tartare is lovely and the Kiev is a strong choice unless you have to snog someone afterwards
S. G.
Really nice brunch with unlimited freshly-baked bread.

Amazing sunday roast that has pleased the whole family from 8 to 80 years old! Very friendly and professional staff, wonderful bloody mary, warm and cosy, shabby chic decor, clients happy around us. Can’t wait to go back.
