The first thing that stands out at Parrillan is the very friendly crew. There is a nice Spanish vibe (friendliness) as soon as you are met by the servers. The restaurant has a lovely decor and the terrace is heated well. There are coal heaters at all tables too. The music was good. The cocktail and drinks menu is limited but there is something for everyone. Do make a prior reservation as the place is usually packed, especially over the weekend. The food menu is limited but we just ate some bar nibbles, so will be back to Parrillan to try their mains soon. Parrillan is highly recommended for a few drinks with friends.

Dropped in here by chance and we were not disappointed.
Accommodated us with 2 prams no problem.
The service was impeccable.
The staff are friendly and passionate about the food.
If you visit with children under 10 you can't use the table grills, so we had most of the tapas selection on offer. All the food was great quality. Stand out dish was the baked sheep's cheese, and I'm not a huge cheese fan.
Will be back.

Went for lunch with high expectations given the venue and Barrafina’s brand. The outside area is great for a lunch by the sun, but can get quite smoky with the mini bbqs grilling meat and other fatty cuts. Portions are extremely small, we had to pretty much re-do our order when the food arrived. Drinks were good and Service was friendly - except for the hostess which didn’t even greet us when we arrived. For the portions and quality of the food, this place is definitely overpriced. Would return for drinks and small bites only.

Best experience in Coal Drops Kings Cross! Must try the chestnut negroni if you're a fan. Meats are well marinated and properly salted, fresh vegetables, best padron peppers and ham & cheese croquettes. Highly recommend Parrillan (FYI when booking be mindful of the kitchen open/close times as well as the bar, for example when we were there the kitchen would close between 3 -5 pm , and the bar at 4 pm whereby we couldnt order anything during that time). But still, a great place to visit!!!

We really enjoyed our visit to Parrillan. Sun was shining and when it god cloudy the heaters kept us warm. Food is on the more expensive side but well worth it. Will definitely go back. Excellent customer service

What a great experience at Parrillan. First time here with the boyfriend. Walked past at 4pm and was told they were closed but we could book a table for that evening. Booked a table for 5pm. Came back to a long queue of people waiting to go in but it moved really quick. Had a great table. Waitress explained the menu and what we could cook ourselves on the grill. We had a lot of fun cooking our own meats and the flavours were great. Jug of sangria overpriced at £40. Would definitely go again for a special occasion. Very friendly staff and great atmosphere. A lot of outdoor seating and there are heaters everywhere.

Absolute gem highly recommend! My sister took me here for a treat she’d also been wanting to try it & we weren’t disappointed. The staff were extremely helpful & attentive & it was such a nice experience cooking on the grill placed on our table. The meats & veg were fresh & the sauce dips delicious. Fast service & amazing staff.

Amazing location and atmosphere, and the service was really excellent! But the food is extortionately overpriced for the size and the taste. I think we paid about £8 for a mini gem lettuce cut in half with some sauce that we had to grill. Overall the food was average (except the gluten free cheesecake was a winner!! But £8 a slice?!)

The staff was very friendly, the food was tasty and the grilling experience is really interesting. If you have room for dessert, definitely try the cheesecake, it's amazing!
The only "negative" is the fact that personally I think it's a bit pricey compared to other similar restaurants and experiences, hence the 4/5 stars.

Really nice restaurant, the waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable and the food was great.
