Despite the few bad reviews, I had a very nice experience here. Embarassed to say, but that was my first time at Paul’s. And everything was just so yummy and nicely presented and everything. Probably the best lemon tart and latte I’ve ever had. Big thank you to the staff as well that were so friendly and polite. Highly recommend.

Nice and cozy, but small coffee shop. Ideal for a date, or for a couple, to spend some time here. Their hot chocolate is amazing. Taste like dark chocolate, but not too strong (if you know what I mean). The cappuccino was nice too, so as the cakes. The label on the mini doughnuts was "belgian chocolate", but for me tasted like Nutella. Anyway, they tasted good. Staff members were nice and helpful. We didn't order and ordinary cappuccino. The barista was kind and professional.

I called ahead to check something because of my dietary requirements, the lady on the phone ‘Margarita’’ was prompt and efficient, she answered my query with no hesitation, i picked up few goodies that day, the Gateau au carotte slice is amazing. They have variety of quality bakery products, sandwiches and salads to chose from and the staff are friendly. I have been using Paul Caffè all over The world and I am happy with their products and service.

I needed coffee badly it was early I had the choice of Starbucks, rather drink my own piss and pret manager rather drink my own piss again and there was Paul's nestled in between the two never tried Paul's before and I'm so happy I did first off the selection of pastries is of the chart and it's all freshly baked you can actually see the bakers baking!! And more importantly coffee! I like small coffee and on the coffee menu they have petite (small coffee) coffee tasted good, left a happy man, would definitely go back. Had good seating area inside and out and had alot more on offer food wise.

The staff seem to be confused about what they are doing. I don't know if there is a big turnover issue, but every time I visit this Paul - there are always some problems: they would forget to put something I have ordered, the coffee wouldn't be of a good quality. They are also painfully slow. An extra star for a small outside seating area, which I believe to be a signature characteristic of cafes in this part of London. It is not extremely comfortable, but that's not important, the atmosphere and the vibe of the neighbourhood is what you get. Quite lovely early mornings on the weekends.

Probably the best café in the area. Coffee quality is great and the bread and pastries are made fresh in the shop. They are attentive and know what they're doing. Has a cosy and calm atmosphere with some seats outside to sit in the sun and watch the locals walk past. It is a little more expensive than usual but the price is average for the area.

Ew expensive and full of powers. The only thing I like about it is how funny the clientele are without even trying to be. I once saw a guy in there with a moustache drawn in eyeliner pencil. I legit can't stop laughing, they think they're all that cos their coffee costs 2 quid extra. I did a four day pastry course and I can make better food for about 40p each *sigh*

Called in for a takeaway lunch Sunday afternoon. The cafe had a lively but comfortable atmosphere. The short queue move quick. I particularly enjoyed a pistachio frappé, an uncommon flavour for this type of drink.

No idea why but this PAUL is very very busy. Apricot tart is my favourite. As the turnover is high so i presume food is fresh here. Table is never clean and service is chaotic but along this avenue PAUL offers the best pastries.

I had probably the worst coffee I've ever had in Paul. Such as shame as the place has a certain amount of charm about it. To their credit they replaced the coffee but the second one was not that much better. How difficult is it to make a good latte? They need to send their staff on coffee making courses. I would visit the cafe alot more if they could make a good coffee.

As all Paul's... nice quality French pastries... Bit rusty in service.. Maybe because the major part of the personnel was not Englsh speaking. :) But always good to sit here with the Taiji gang before training in Holland Park.

This French styled patisserie cum coffee shop is a bit 'long in the tooth' already. Refreshments, food, service and price are all acceptably adequate and satisfactory. The dated and ‘worn’ interior verging on the decrepit but decidedly not in a quaint, homely way. Claustrophobic here.
