The saving grace of this establishment is the staff because it surely isn't the dips. The management of this franchise offer cheap chicken shop dips as seen in the photos. They are watered down. I came here quite a long time ago and the food was great. I spend £17 and gave chips that tasted of nothing to my teenage son who would eat anything. Can you a half decent wrap, yes, will enjoy the service absolutely, is the price worth it for basic food that all tastes like watered down chicken shop...no.

Everything at Pepe chicken was extraordinary. The place was clean and noticed great. The staff and greeter was exceptionally pleasant. Our servers Alya and Zeba was magnificent, the staff too worked as a group in bringing and cleaning up our nourishment. The nourishment was new and magnificent. This shop is my go to shop. The burrito and grilled chicken is the one 😍you can’t go wrong with that combo and it fills you up sometimes I had to much onions or dry chicken on Uber eats but other than that this is still my go to shop I been eating from Ubers eats for month now or so The wings, chicken and burrito is the best meals I had I even recommended someone and now they love pepes we have whole conversation about that 😭but they need to send me a black card or something after checking my order in Uber eats.

Updated my review because they have increased their prices on some items by £7! Okay so I understand that costs are going going up but it always seems the big boys up them by a much larger percentage than others. They do a sweet chilli sauce which used to be thick now just seems to be water. Overall I would say price up and quality down unfortunately.

A place to eat if you want grilled chicken, grilled burgers, with a few fried items. It will be cost effective if you are getting a platter, if not, then it can be pricier then your local chicken and chip shop. But you can justify the cost because of the fresh grilled chicken with your chosen flavour (lemon and herb, hot, etc. ) that is made to order.

Seriously good chicken. One of the few places you can get extra hot food that is actually hot in England. Friendly service and very clean inside. Fast service too if you just want a takeaway. A great selection of deals and really well done sides.

Best HMC piri piri grilled wings in East London, can be busy but that is a sign to its own food quality not a reason to be negative about, prices are tad expensive for this type of fast food however since the quality is amazing its what you pay for.

A bit pricey but makes up for that with the quality of food. However, I suggest a little salad with meals won’t hurt. Service needs a lot of improvement, staff could be a bit nicer. Overall, I go here quite often for peri peri rice with chicken and I think for the price we pay we should get some salad with our meals and a nicer treatment from the staff, unless I’m getting served by that one girl with the head scarf she always treats me nicely.

Piri-piri , spiced grilled food with origin from South Africa is well done in this outlet. Chicken wings and their new dish chicken quesadilla are very good. Service is so-so. Prices are reasonable. Never get tired of ordering from this place! The food is always top notch. Highly recommend the chicken strips. Brilliant flavoursome chicken! Beautifully cooked and flavoured. I love it.

Not impressed with some aspects here. Cash only, and parking can be a bit annoying to find but the restaurant itself has adequate seating. The problem I found was, that although it has the same recipes and taste as all other Pepe's , the buns were cold and uncooked (no crisp) so they were fluffy and no fun to eat with the burger. The wings are quite small, I did get extra wings but can't confirm whether they gave me these for free to make up for the small size, or that they charged me for more wings and I didn't realise

I ordered chicken wings. I got 3 side wings. The wings looked like they shrunk. Bad point they do not do delivery, There service use to be good but it has now deteriorated to a point that it's no longer worth a visit, there chicken was also dry and it tasted like pre cooked, pita bread was also crumbly, I ordered a food for over £80 (Collection) when I got home I find I had missing portions of the chips Called the restaurant and they tried to tell me that I am lying, I told them That I've paid u nearly £90 and why would I will call you for portion of chips if not missing they took my number and after 45mins they called to get my address to deliver portion of chips by that time we have consumed our food as it was getting cold.

It might be same price as nandos but much more casual. But trust me, the taste is really good, which is why i choose to eat peri peri chicken in Pepe's rather than Nandos despite a casual atmosphere. If you love spicy food, this is the franchise to go to in the UK.

Good portions of decent chicken. It's kind of a half way house between KFC and Nandos in terms of what they offer but it's pretty decent. A little on the pricier side for my liking but not a wallet buster!

I thought this was just a rip off of Nandos at first... but now I realise it treads a fine line between Nandos and KFC... and does it rather well. The food tastes good and is well cooked, the piri piri is different enough to it's rival's, the garlic sauce is great and the prices float in between KFC and Nandos. Don't expect this to be a restaurant - it's fast food. Don't expect this to be cheap (£2 chicken n chips this isn't).

The food here is good - no doubt. It isn't Nandos, but it's a good alternative. It's a cross between a Sams and Nandos really. A bit overpriced but the food makes up for it. Been back here several times and nothing really bad to say really.
