Reviews of Pho & Bun
A. C.
Lovely, tiny Vietnamese bistro. It is an unpretentious and honest place with great food in the outskirts of Chinatown. We ordered pho with crispy tofu and wok fried noodles with beef. Broth is incredibly complex and balanced. Noodles were covered with delicious sauce - not sticky and awfully sweet or salty (as we experienced far too many times elsewhere) but perfectly composed. Congrats to the chef! All ingredients were served first-class fresh. Sadly, we do not live near enough to visit you guys more often:(
C. B.
Excellent lunch time spot. The atmosphere is relaxed with exposed brick and upbeat music which is at a nice volume. The staff is friendly and the food excellent with a nice set meal option which is flexible.
The spring roll is refreshing and light would strongly recommend and their burger is lovely.
Light tasty treat. 💕

I booked using a 4 course meal voucher. The food was incredible! Not one thing disappointed. We had spring roll, summer roll, squid (which was not rubbery at all) and the mango salad for starters. For the main we had the BBQ pork and vermicelli, and pho. The BBQ pork was excellent, so tasty and nicely charred. For dessert we had the flan caramel, which paired brilliantly with the bitterness of the vietnamese coffee. Loved everything.
The service was also amazing. We didn't have to wait at all between courses. And the experience was great, the waiters knew about the voucher and knew what to do (I did call beforehand to check). Everything went so smoothly. We will definitely be back, voucher or not!
Only one to note was that the Grass Jelly soft drink is banana flavoured (it didn't say on the menu). So just a heads up in case you're not a fan of banana flavoured drinks.
E. F.
Delicious! Great variety on the menu. We tried the prawn summer rolls, crispy spring rolls, and sticky honey wings for the appetiser. Ordered the pho and bao burger for the main, and then tried the flan and coconut iced coffee for dessert. Everything was spectacular, especially the coconut iced coffee. Definitely will be back.

My second time here, but not for years now. I love this little restaurant, the Phò Bo Tái is as good as I had in Vietnam itself, just of course completely different pricing (as you can probably imagine between London and Vietnam!). My favourite Vietnamese in London!
L. S.
On arrival the restuarant looked very busy and compact which isn't something we would usually go for but we had seen good reviews of the food so we gave it a go. We were seated in the basement which was less busy. The staff were friendly, there was plenty of choice on the menu and we were served quickly. The food was delicious and my husband can't wait to go back when we next visit London.
W. D.
I was there for a little celebration dinner with couple of my friends. Staff was very friendly to accommodate us by quickly finding a table for us even though we did not have a reservation. Especially, Mircsi was wonderful and she amazed us with taking our orders and memorising it all perfectly correct without having to write a word. Food was amazing and anyone who go there must try the ice cream or flan caramel for the dessert. One of my favourite Vietnamese restaurants in London!😊
A. R.
Went at a great time for a Saturday and it was not very busy and had a seat immediately. Our waiter was polite when we inquired about something on menu and everything arrived very quickly. The food arrived hot and was delicious. Service was really good and the prices were decent for the area.
J. V.
I have to say from start to finish everything was absolutely perfect and we loved every minute.
So my partner and I had the Virgin Experience which was x2 starters each, a main each, a dessert each and a whole bottle of wine between us (other drinks available)
The restaurant is really small and has a lovely buzzy atmosphere, the staff are very friendly.
The food itself was absolutely incredible, it definitely felt very authentic (although I am not Vietnamese so can't totally clarify this haha)
We shared four of the starters and had thr summer tiger prawn wrap, honey chicken wings, pork and crab spring roll and salt/pepper squid. For mains I had the bbq pork pelly Bao Burger, normally I can't stand pork belly due to the fattyness but this didn't have one ounce of fat. The food was fresh, tasty, filling. I just wish it didn't end.
The restaurant was absolutely packed and people just kept coming which speaks volumes RE the popularity.
The whole experience was beyond value for money and we loved very minuted and would not hesitate to return!
Thank you to everyone at Pho and Bun for a great meal out.
M. K.
Very nice vietnamese food. Would have given it five stars if it wasn't for the lousy customer service. I had booked a table online and the waiter nearly told me a liar because he said they did not accept online orders. I did show him the reservation but he continued to say his thing. they forgot our drinks and had to remind them at the end of our meal. Despite all above, the food was really good.
E. J.
Was good. Had a bao burger, for the price, would think it should come with a side of some sort, but it was on its own and the salad want drained properly so it just made everything soggy. Was tasty though, would go back to try something different
I. P.
Finger licking food and drinks. The most delicious strawberry lemonade I've ever had! Really friendly service and nice atmosphere. Couldn't recommend more!
D. G.
Wow - best Pho we ever had.
Highly recommended.
Nice atmosphere friendly staff and great food.
We also had the honey pork bun which was incredible. Light and tasty at the same time.
We will come here again and again and again, thank you.
Came here a second time. Wow consistently perfect - you have to try this out.

Food
The food was okay. Didn’t have that typical balance of flavours and freshness you expect from Vietnamese food but it wasn’t bad either.
Service
The restaurant is very busy and it was difficult to get a hold of the wait staff but when they did serve they were friendly enough.
Price
It’s average for London.
Ambience
Felt too busy and crowded although it is in central London. Was nicely decorated.
S. L.
Nice burgers and Bún Chả. Pho was good as well. I visited here second times!!
L. M.
Have to leave a review to say that the spring roll was the best I ever had. Absolutely delicious. Very nice spot, can't wait to go back!
G. C.
Beef in pho is very tender! Spring rolls are delicious as well.
L. S.
Amazing food I would give 5 stars for food, but i always review all together the restaurant, staff and food. Staff wasnt really friendly and we felt like they want us to leave ASAP so thry can have new customers. Toilets were awful and thats never acceptable. As for food, we had vegan dishes and they were delicious I would recommend just because of food but if you want more than food from a restaurant than its another pair of socks 🧦.
J. T.
I wouldn’t say the food was authentic though it seemed that the staff were Vietnamese. Food was ok but not true to the taste one can get in Vietnam. Regarding the classic raw beef soup noodle, the soup tasted alright, but the beef was quite tough to chew. I wondered why the restaurant only provided lemon instead of lime for customers to add to food? Was it purely a cost issue? Using lime instead of lemon did make a big difference to taste & authenticity.
P. N.
Great restaurant! Small but cosy and with attentive staff. The food was incredible and on a cold London night it was just what we needed. Prices are reasonable and the waiting staff really helped us choose what was best for our personal preferences. I totally recommend this place if you wish to try Vietnamese food, especially the noodles!
S. B.
Enjoyed their spicy beef pho very much, I for sure will return!
m.
Went here on a whim on a Saturday afternoon , seating is like been in Vietnam low down and close together and the decor is good. The menu has a few starters and the mains are based around Pho with choices of meats and vegetarian options. The other mains are a twist on burgers using steamed buns instead of burger buns with various fillings. The food was tasty and the use of fresh herbs throughout the dishes brought me been back to Hanoi. Prices very reasonable the bill came to £45 for 2 starters 2 mains and drinks inclusive of a service charge. I would of given 5* if the service was better some of the staff may of been new started taking orders to the wrong tables including ours.
F. Y.
Pho is good, but not consistency, the first is great, but the second is bit too oily.
But to my surprise, they serve soy sauce for your springroll instead of fish sauce, really ?
z. l.
The service was good. The fried squid is quite crispy. Pho with beef was very tasty. The fried rice is much beyond perfect. The sausages, tiger prawns, paprikas in it just hittrd the sweet point of my tongue. I'll recommend it to everyone who want to try Vietnam food in London.
M. J.
Cozy atmosphere with quick and tasty food!! Took my son (10yrs) there and he loves his Tofu Pho so much, even he finished whole soup!!
A. T.
Had summer roll prawn as starter and it was great.
Bun Cha and Bun Hue beef were awesome too.
Just be careful with the Bun Hue beef as its soup can be spicy for some people.
It was quite full when I got there so it’s highly recommended to book the reservation first!
All food come with coriander. (not a huge fan of coriander so I decide to put this)
C. S. M.
Pho & Bun in the heart of London. Friendly staff and if you're looking for tasty Vietnamese Street food, look no further. Would highly recommend.
F. C.
It's the second Vietnam restaurant which I tried. To be honest, I am a bit disappointed. Pho's noodle is quite average and beef is not enough compared with others. Chicken wings are too sweet for me. But the taste is not subpar anyway.
T. A.
The traditional Vietnamese pho was awesome: a bowlful of hot, steamy goodness, ideally slurped up on a cold, rainy day when you’re feeling dead inside. The beef was on point, as were the noodles. The broth was so deliciously rich and soulful, it overcame my table manners. I understand that funneling what remains in your bowl down your gullet is poor etiquette, but I just couldn’t help myself. It’s that good. By far the best pho I’ve ever had. I yearn for it to this day. Do yourself a favor and, pho the love of god, try it.
A. B.
My favourite Vietnamese resto in Central London. Top-notch service and the food is simply divine!
V. J.
Super delicious! We tried 2 main course sets and loved every single dish ! Cant wait to go back 😍
S. L. L.
The pho is good!!! And for those spicy food lover, you can ask for extra chilli oil to be eaten together with the Pho! And go for lunch if you can as they have lunch set menu (about £9-10) with one starter and one main course. For starter, we ordered the spring roll, summer roll and chilli squid. Overall it is good and i would definitely recommend this restaurant.
L. L.
Went for lunch and had the set meal. Had aubergine and tofu summer rolls for starters. Then chicken pho and pork belly noodle salad for main. Aubergine was very oily but had a nice sauce. Tofu summer rolls were fresh and yummy. The chicken pho broth was not good. Had a lot of msg flavour. Didn't give much herbs or veg. Noodle salad was nice, but the sauce is a bit too sweet, needs more sourness. Overall decent and good value, but I've had better else where. Also a lot of the bowls and plates are chipped. You could cut your hands on them...
R. B.
We love this place, it’s probably our fourth time here. Good food, lovely flavours and food prices. There’s not many places that do a Bun Cha Hanoi style so this is the place to go. A definite recommend if you’re looking for Vietnamese food.
C. L. i. t. U.
We like the rare beef pho and squid. Spring roll is nice too. The quality drop a bit compared to before.
R. Y.
One of the best Pho I have tried in London! I ordered Bò Tái - Rare sliced beef short rib which cost 11.50 pounds, Crispy Spring Roll Pork and Crab which cost 6.50 pounds, and Fresh Summer Roll with Tiger Prawn (N) which cost 5.75 pounds. Out of all the food I ordered I would recommend the Bò Tái and the spring roll. The soup of the Bò Tái was well cooked and flavoured, the spring rolls were also deep fried to a right degree, not overcooked nor undercooked. Highly recommended anyone who miss Pho to this restaurant!
T. N.
Yummy Vietnamese food for a decent price in central London. Came here on a Saturday for lunch and had the lunch deal. Chose the spring rolls and beef pho. I thought the pho was really authentic, could have done with a bit more meat but still very good. Vietnamese coffee I would recommend.
Restaurant feels quite cramped but the decor is really nice

Friendly & fast service. The waitress name was Mircsi (not Vietnamese) but managed our order well. This is a Central London Vietnamese restaurant with a good menu. We tried couple of starters and main dishes. Proper Vietnamese taste and decent pricing. We enjoy our stay and will visit again if we are closed by. Thanks Pho & Bun
M. P.
Friendly stuff and really tasty Vietnamese food. I tried Vietnamese food for the first time and waiter helped me with my order. Price is also good. Only disadvantage is the space. Not that much inside.
S. K.
New-ish place located just outside China town. Liked that two tumblers of water were brought to us without having to ask. I didn't particularly like the beef lemon salad, the beef was 'cooked' in the lemon I guess and was very soft. So if you don't like rare meat this mightn't be for you. I also couldn't finish all the onions, it felt like there were two onions worth of raw slices! When the waiter collected the dishes I said I didn't really like so much raw onions (some fine, this was too much). He responded with something like 'oh ok' but didn't really seem to take in what I'd said and walked off, bringing our bill soon after. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing, but some warning on the menu would be handy. Also, don't ask me if everything was ok and then not react (I'd left a bowl of onions behind, it felt obvious what the problem was). But anyway, a different dish, a different outcome I guess.

I got their star deal menu offer via Time Out. Four dishes and a drink for £19.99. It is good value and they offer a vegetarian menu too. The portions of some of the starters were small. We ordered all the starters minus the spare ribs. The mains were tasty and filling, the pork belly bao burger was really good though I wasn't full on the burger alone so I ate some of my companion's huge bun sa. The steak in the bun sa was a slightly over done so I would recommend trying the tiger prawns one. Desserts.......wow we loved the pandan+coconut panna cotta and the vietnamese flan caramel. They are small but pack a punch in flavour. The staff were really friendly and chatty. Ask them for their recommendations if you are undecided.
R. S.
Rustic looking Vietnamese decor but all tables very close together and feels claustrophobic. Service was friendly but felt rushed. The starters were fairly good, but I wasn't impressed with the beef pho. Altogether not a bad place but nothing special.
D.
Super delicious, light yet flavorful pho, crunchy summer rolls, friendly and efficient staff.
The midweek lunch deal is a steal.
Worth a visit if you're in the area.
S. M.
Sweet and cosy Vietnamese eatery on Shaftesbury Avenue. The food is really tasty and well presented - and it arrived swiftly. Interior is rustic. Staff are helpful and obliging. Well worth a visit.
K. T.
Gorgeously deceiving! Right in the heart of the theatre district sits this amazing Vietnamese restaurant - don't be fooled by the small size as there is plenty more seating downstairs.
We ordered chilli and salt squid, and summer prawn rolls for starter, which were delicious! My sister and I both got the vermicelli noodles with Tiger prawns, whilst my brother tried the prawn burger. Really nice flavours, interesting street - style food :) would definitely go again!
b. g.
What a tiny little gem. First impressions on walking in were good. Wondered where we was gonna sit because the place is very small but we were led through a 'secret' door to a small cosy basement restaurant. Chopsticks on the tables and lots of Asian people sitting and eating which I saw as a good sign. Good and efficient service and the food is amazing. Lots of flavour. Fragrant and punchy. Will most definitely go again if visiting the area.
S. A. J.
such a wonderful Viet food
beef soup of the noodle was great! it’s deep beef taste and noodle also cooked well
pork noodle tastes amazing as well
I’ve had satisfied dinner
just one thing there’s no air conditioner indoor, therefore it’s a bit unpleasure to stay in and have hot food in the summer time
P. L.
Good Pho restaurant in China Town, London.
They have a set lunch menu for under £10, or a menu with four courses for £15.99.
I went for Pho with tender beef and a pork bao, with pan fried prawn cake to start.
For desert I had the pandan and coconut panacotta and the coconut snow ice coffee.
S. C.
Delicious dishes, especially the bun hue with authentic Vietnamese taste.
Service is rather bad as the restaurant is crowded most of the time, we once had to wait 20 minutes for the menu to be brought out.
Recommended if you’re not in a rush for a quick service
S. H.
Food was absolutely lovely and our waiter was very pleasant. It's quite small as you walk in, but there's loads of seating downstairs if it gets too busy. I'll definitely be trying out the new restaurant opening in Oxford.
A. D.
Hidden on the High Street, great Vietnamese food. However restaurant is very, very crowded. Tables are small and close together, it felt very claustrophobic. Price was around average, £10-£15 for main, £6-£8 for a starter. Food was good, but it felt like we were very rushed in there, to order, eat and get out...on a weekday evening too. Service wasn’t great, they just want you in and out. But food was good, I wouldn’t say it was brilliant though.
W. W.
Nice food and service. Set lunch meal £9.95 for an appetizer and main is the best value lunch during my short trip in London
D. T. N.
Very nice vietnamese food. Pho (beef noodle soup) is 80% authentic. The other dishes are excellent, especially the very special steamed bun burger!
C. W.
Lovely food, best to book if you want yo visit this place as quiet popular. ALWAYS love Vietnamese food must try my favourite is pho noodles xin ciaooooo
J.
Really great atmosphere and food and the staff are incredibly friendly. We had the special platter for starter and pork belly bao burgers and the grilled bananas for dessert and a few cocktails and couldn't fault any of it. Definitely would recommend!
M. A.
Tried a few Vietnamese restaurants on a trip to London, and this place was by far the best one. Both Bun bo Hue and and Bun thit nuong was really tasty. The interior of the restaurant is nice and service was good.
E. H.
Absolutely amazing bao burgers! I am very familiar with Vietnamese food and this restaurant is seriously authentic, yet contemporary all the while. I ordered the fresh spring roll with shrimp as an appetizer (the most authentic of the spring rolls on the menu) and it was delicious served with the Vietnamese peanut sauce of my dreams. Then for the burger I ordered one with pork that had a Star next to it on the menu declaring it the chefs choice. This place is loud and small, but it was absolutely worth the trip! I would happily return many more times!
J. S.
For me as a pho-lover is this restaurant one the best places I've ever been in London in looking for how does this Vietnamese soup tastes. Pho was so delicious with loads of fresh ingredients. I could feel more comfortable if tables were bit bigger.
P. P.
It was the first time that I had ever tried Vietnamese food and it was INCREDIBLE. Highly recommend it. Especially get the 10 pound deal which is a starter and a main, it’s super worth it compared to its location and food quality.
On top of that they have the MOST AMAZING SPRING ROLLS, definitely get it.
P.s. To Be Honest their chilli sauce isn’t that spicy 🤷♀️
S. B.
The best Vietnamese restaurant in London. Great service, fresh ingredients and amazing cocktails.
Highly recommended.
C.
Food was amazing and service was fast!
K. E.
I wanted to try this dish and it was amazing. We came here because the food looked delicious, we weren’t disappointed! It’s a quaint place where you wait to get into the restaurant. It’s that busy of a place which means it’s good.
L.
I ordered pho and it was not bad at all ! The broth is a real one, no artificial flavour.
It's lacking in quantity I think even though I'm not a big eater.
And seriously you need to change your spoon. I mean a real spoon not a ladle...
In total : Not bad but not exceptional.
I still would recommend this restaurant if you want to try some Vietnamese food.
c. m.
Lovely meal. We had a buy a gift voucher
C. R.
Mildly surprised. Doesn't look like much on the outside but not judging a book by its cover comes to mind. Flavourful, fresh, satisfying and hearty. Definitely on our radar now. ❤
Glass noodles with the Pork belly and Shrimp for me.
Crispy Tofu Pho for the missus.
Crispy Spring Rolls with Pork and Crab to share.
Hit the spot. Darn. 😍
Oh. And the crew were very happy and accommodating to say the least. 👍
Z. R.
Excellent food, staff were super helpful as we had a baby with us and they couldn’t have been more great.
S. B. W. (.
It was unexpected... I was searching for a decent food in the neighbourhood's and filtering on top rated left me only 3 choices... my 5 years old girl stopped at this one went straight to a place of 4 that was just emptied 2 seconds ago and sat there smiling waiting for us to follow.
So it was set! And that's the best "pho" I had since years! It's a really awesome mix of taste from the fresh herbs and the red wine slowly cooked beef... wonderful! My wife had a truly tasteful experience with the burger tofu where the bread is replaced by a cloudy rice or potato stash based steam bread... just pure pleasure.
My 9 years old boy took the rice with shrimp and he loved it (but didn't like the smoked egg).
Service is nice, friendly and efficient.
But congrats to the team in the kitchen!
Obrigado! Thanks!
I forgot my little girl drank almost all my "pho"...
And yes I almost forgot choose the home made lemonade...
E. N.
Comfortable vietnamese restaurants based at chinatown. Set lunch only 9.95£ (main course with starter), and they got serve for vegetarian food as well. Friendly service and taste good 😉
k. d.
The day we went to have lunch to Pho & Bun we were tired and cold from walking around the city. When we got there our first impression was that the place was tiny and already crowed; however, there was a small sign at the door saying that there were more tables available downstairs. There were around eight more tables and a large one for bigger crowds. We ordered the lunch for the day, and I think it was around L11. First I had the green mango salad, which was delicious, and then the Pho with chicken.Everything was really good, and the music, I loved the playlist they had, too bad I did not ask who was singing. Overall we loved the place.
m. b.
Bao burger was alright at best. Crispy chicken tasted good but the veg filling and lettuce made it very messy to eat , and msde the bottom bun a bit wet and soft, so the burger fell apart too easily as you ate it. Would have been better but otherwise it tasted ok
D. L.
Stick with their Pho, the rest wasn’t that good. We had the mango salad and calamari, both pretty flavorless.
M.
Get together among friends.. highly recommended, book a table if four or more as you will be seated down stairs, restaurant is cozy but the vibe can be loud depending on the night and guests, they have a la Carte & set menus.. lovely dishes, ambience & most of all customer service :)
M. O.
Exceeded our expectations , Honestly it was my friends birthday and apart from the food being so delicious. It was the customer service that really blew our minds . When they found it was my friends birthday they went out of their way to do a birthday treat for her . I will definitely come here again ! 🤗😍
M. L.
Dripping coffee wasn’t show up at table like a “dripping” coffee, they serve a cup of Vietnamese coffee? Pho pao taste good, nice pho and tender rare slice beef, soup is the soul which is a bit sweeter than the average.
R. S.
Cosy place and good food! The three dishes in the pictures, plus one coke and a beer costed 38£.
J. C.
Good food and dinning atmosphere, however, the waitresses are not friendly and food took a long time to come.
D. C.
Amazing Food on Shaftsbury Avenue. The Bo Sat Vang Pho is next level. A must try are the Fresh Summer Rolls with Tiger Prawns. Will definitely return at some point in the future.
R. C.
Really good food and very different. Best service from waiters too
N. C.
Food was delicious. Had the ribs and beef rolls. Lovely. Took about 25min before we got our mains. The steamed bbq honey pork bao burger was delicious. Would deff go back. The Time Out offer is only really worth it in the evening, otherwise you can get 2 course for 10 during lunch.
J. M.
Truly splendid pho, the stock is delicious. Portions are generous, stick to just one starter so you can fully enjoy your pho. If you're having a bao burger you might be okay ordering more!
A. S.
Pho was amazing, the squid fry was the best. The summer spring rolls were ok. Portions are fairly large. Do try the squid fry. Yum yum
A. L.
Nicely decorated for a small place, seats were a little uncomfortable but food was good and set menu is good
K. M.
Amazing food, great environment. Service could be more attentive but staff were nice.
J. S.
Great food, interesting combinations. Had a bao bun burger, which was perfectly cooked and had a nice slaw on top. Really cool vibe.
A. M.
The food was fantastic and the staff were great. Good service. Sadly with it being monday everyone was out in force and it was so loud I could not even focus on eating. Quite possibly too many people in a small space. But its expected but overall very good!
D. Z.
Nice food and good/fast service. Great options for vegan and vegetarian food. Good value and selection on the set menus.
G. F.
Favourite pho in the UK. It's a must stop when we come into London. Highly recommend.
s. p.
Great pho!!! REALLY tasty and good service. we had rare beef pho noodle and seafood one. So nice and highly recommend!!! But table is quite small but it was okay!
M. M.
I never expected to find such amazing food right on Shaftesbury Avenue. Blown away by the quality of the Chilli Squid and BBQ Pork Pho Bun especially, definitely going back
J. B.
Good food and relatively cheap. We came in right as they were closing up but they served us anyway. Get the fried doughstick!
S. R.
Amazing pho broth, crab & pork crispy rolls, and fresh ginger tea. Everything was delicious
P. K.
Best pho in London, great atmosphere and very friendly staff
C. B. C.
All very very good. Great place for children. Our first impression was not at all right. Definitely worth it!! Very understandable with children. They even suggest to ask for one dish and share between them. They love it!!
P. G.
Lovely restaurant located in the heart of Soho in China Town.
It was the fourth time I went to the restaurant and it’s never disappointed, the best Vietnamese food in London with authentic Vietnamese taste!
I have to point out that the service was outstanding, our waiter PEDRO was very professional, friendly and attentive.
I was very surprised that he reminded my friends and I, and he also remembered what we like to order. What a memory!
We will definitely come back again!!!
C. L.
Small, cosy restaurant with good food.
T. Q.
The summer roll is fresh and the sauce s yummy.
The spicy Pho version is too oily in fact. And not spicy at all. They gave a very generous portion if noodle (bonus), but the broth lacks flavour!!
J. J.
The bao burger bun was perfect. It was an "oh ma gahhhd" moment. 100% recommend. Who cares if you're cramped in on small tables. It's London. MAKE SURE YOU TURN UP ON TIME. Lady lost out on her table because she was late.
M. T. D.
Lovely little place right next to the heart of London for me. Great prices, very comfortable and intimate. Attentive staff that were very accomodating to our mates being late and adding one other even though we were so the last table. Basically cracking service.
And such good filling food. Wish I had been more hungry so much selection of dishes. Will be back with a few friends.
E. J.
Food was out of this world! The ribs were delicious and the meat fell off of the bone, calamari was to die for! Incredible value for money. 2 people, two courses and a drink each for les than £30! Would definitely come back next time I visit london.
M. T.
Really surprised by how good this was. Great photo and amazing grilled pork. Will go again ❤️
B. W.
Great food and hosts. The place in very small and not great with kids / babies.
D. C.
Food is decent. The service is very disappointing, they got us the wrong dish, then I had to wait for them to replace it. They also got us the bill without us asking for it and we were barely half way through the meal! Guess they did want to sell dessert 🤷🏻♀️. Also the table next to us didn't receive their food for very very long, people who came in much later got their food earlier. They tried to make it up by giving a 10% discount on the bill. Overall a just ok place, can get much better Vietnamese for the same value elsewhere.
K. B.
Really Nice food and staff. Got the platter for starters and the waitress was very helpful, telling us what was what and what sauce was best with each. Also had some of the bao burgers which were very tasty. This was finished by the peanut brittle and banana ice cream which was also great. Would definitely recommend people check it out.
A. M.
Excellent food, lovely service. Pho was the real deal. Had to wait a bit even with a reservation but totally worth it !
W. C.
Order 3 starters, Pork ribs, Pork belly Bun and spring roll. Very very good but a little bit pricey.
Had pho soup, best soup so far I have tasted in London.
Will I go again, Yes I will. Worth the money.
Table is too small and limited seats in the shop, small restaurant.
M. O.
Super small restaurant with tiny tables which may feel a bit cramped at times. Food is better than I expected, not too greasy. Unfortunately no pho that I can eat but the bowls looks really tasty. Decent pricing for dishes. Service is a little hit and miss so don’t expect the full works. Overall pretty good, would visit again
S. J.
Delicious,fresh & fast.Really good flavours,& not too expensive.Yum!
D. F.
Nice to try, bought as a present on Groupon for me, great service but over priced in my opinion.
K. K.
Great atmosphere and food :)
R. C.
AMAZING FOOD. In fact we enjoyed it so much we went before a show then after the show for 2nds and dessert. Coconut snow. Honey roasted pork buns. Yum.
J. B.
Pho-ood was absolutely lovely. Delicious pork belly and sticky rice
E. G.
The lunch set menu was just about ok. Pre-lockdown I used to enjoy the beef pho noodles in a lovely broth. They probably have changed the chef
N. P.
Lovely food and service. As most places, can get very cramped and right up against a stranger's shoulder and conversation. Not the best place to discuss secret plots. Perhaps good for giving bad news to someone so they don't make a scene? Either way, if you want good Vietnamese food next to the theatres, this is a great choice.
L.
Went here with my other half today.
We are both vegetarians.
They don’t have much vegan or vegetarian dishes. Even then the vegetarian pho had to be with a beef broth which is sad however the vegetarian stir fried noodles, summer roll & spring roll we had was delicious & fresh.
The food arrived quite fast. Seating area was quite small. I’m not sure if they had a basement seating area as I never asked or checked.
But non the less vegetarian was 👍🏼 for us. Price was okay £40 in total.
We had 2 mains, 2 starters & 2 green teas. £40 including the optional tip.
Very nice so given 5 stars BUT I am sure you can get cheaper from somewhere else with same or better quality food. But for the location etc.. can’t go wrong here
D. J.
Really didn’t appreciate how they made us sit with three other groups but overall it was okay. Their pho was soso but their lemongrass chicken was very tasty!
B. N.
A stunning meal!
Had veggie spring rolls, prawn and mango salad, prawn special spring rolls and salt n pepper squid was all on point. So fresh and flavorful. Light and very satisfying.
For mains we had bbq pork buns - which was some of the best bbq ive ever had. Love the sweet buns and serving it as a hamburger was a good twist. We also had the chicken curry which was so delicious. Very warming and homely.
Nice intimate atmosphere and friendly service. Will be back!
L. M.
My first experience with vietnamese food and I'm happy about it!
Pho&Bun is a cool restaurant and the food was really good!
V. F.
Good value for money. Everything was super and I did not leave 5 stars because the pho sea food was not convincing. Poor quality fish was used.
R. R.
Lovely restaurant with a small ground floor and downstairs seating. The layout is a little cosy, but manageable. The food is great, we opted for some starters to share like ribs, crackers and spring rolls. We each had bao burgers for main. Wine selection is ok. Overall a little pricey, but they have deals when booked through their website.
L. H.
Really high quality delicious vietnamese food. I would recommend the lychee martini and sticky rice!
I. S.
Food was very average. I had the lemongrass tofu burger. The Tofu is tasteless and does not really go well with the salad. The sweet potatoe fries were good. Music was loud, waiter was nice
S.
Tables are pretty small, but I cannot fault the food in any way. The Pho is amazing. My family and I returned 4 times on a week long holiday and I will definitely go back if I'm in London again.
Z. B.
Small place but very good food ;)
D. O.
Chose Pho & Bun for a catch up with a friend, and will definitely recommend! Delicious food, good wine, fantastic service. As we were about to leave restaurant manager offered us to try some cocktails, and even the cocktails were yummy (I had the mango one with a hint of chilli). Good shout (sorry didn't get the managers name, but he had a great sense of humour) thank you! We enjoyed and will definitely come back!
R. M.
Great service, amazing food and lovely atmosphere.
L. L. I.
Lovely cosy little restaurant. Got a really good Groupon deal to try out the tasting menu, food was Fresh and flavoursome. If anything the soups were too salty for me, but had it with Jasmine tea to wash it down. Mango salad and summer rolls very refreshing. Fried foods were slightly on the burnt side rather than crispy. Lovely staff, would recommend
R. M.
A good quick pho with good coffee and fair selection
M.
Cute place in Soho, serving the best bao bun burger I've had to date. Very cozy place, friendly staff. Definitely a spot you can't miss for quality Vietnamese cuisine. The sweet potato fries side were very crisp and delicious.
Z. F.
The food here is delicious but it’s a little tight in space. A woman at the table next to me knocked her glass of water and I ended up with a soaking wet leg. Staff could also be a little more attentive - it was difficult to get another drink and ask for the bill. 10/10 for food though
J. M.
Brilliant food and lovely service. Only concern is it was packed inside with no visible doors or windows open. Nobody had masks on because they were eating, of course, so it was a bit worrying since the chances of at least one person having Covid there weren't zero. No NHS checkin on entry either.
M. A.
Very small place, but great, flavourful food.
J. E.
Visited here recently after hearing a few good reviews. Space is nice, if a little over-filled with tables upstairs, and the staff were really nice. I had the pork bun and sweet potato fries. The steamed bun was really delicious, but the pork was a little bland and a bit on the small portioned side for the money. Other half had the pho and that looked really good.
I. G.
Cannot fault it - delicious food, excellent service, good location. We were a party of 6 and I had the mango salad, salt and pepper squid, sweet potato and aubergine curry, and coconut snow with coffee for dessert. All were so tasty, loved the freshness and flavours of the mango salad in particular. Was quite full by dessert time, so the coconut snow with coffee was light and just the perk I needed to continue my night out with friends - also, coconut and coffee taste great together, a revelation!
A. B.
Love the food!!! I've been going there for years and always taking my friends there and they loved it!!! Definitely recommend
N. D.
Visited the Shaftesbury Avenue restaurant with my friends and the waiter was very patient and explained the composition of the dishes as my friend does not eat beef or beef related products. The vegetable nems were fabulous, the Vietnam colada cocktail were absolutely delicious, my pho seafood was amazing, however my friend stir-fry pho tofu was not as good as she expected. When the waitress Lynn came to clean our table and my friend plate being almost untouched, my friend expressed her feedback to Lynn who rudely said that she almost ate half of her plate and that there would not be any discount. We did not ask for a discount in the first place and the waitresse - Lynn- being so rude we asked her to remove the service charge and to pack the leftover food which we gave to a homeless person outside the restaurant as we don't like to waste food. Customer service was a big let down just because of Lynn not being customers friendly
D. W.
I had avoided this place, maybe because it’s hard to find a good vietnamese restaurant, but the bun cha there brought me back to Hanoi
A. P.
The food was very tasty and they offer many gluten free options too. One of the best Vietnamese restaurants I've ever been, with very affordable prices. Perfect location in the city centre and cosy environment. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
G. I.
Very cosy and yummy restaurant. The burgers are delish, and the vegetarian version comes almost guilt free (all considered a light meal). I almost had food envy looking at the person in front of me with a bowl of sticky rice and pork, that must have been amazing!
A. M.
I had the sticky rice with the pork and it was honestly amazing, if you’ve have the chance to visit definitely try this place!!
ע.
The food was very tasty and the service was good. We enjoyed the starters and the main courses however we were disappointed by the desserts
H. R.
The food was divine and the staff were lovely. Will definitely be back. My bf and I shared the set menu and got another main; it was more than enough food and was ~£16 a head without drinks. Really good value by UK standards. Only criticism is that service charge doesn't go to waiters. Ask for it to be removed from the bill and leave a cash tip. Managers if you are reading this, sort out this exploitative system.
S. A.
pho bun a bit on the small side everything else was great and reasonable price, casual dining feel.
L. F.
Absolutely delicious pho!! The best chicken pho I’ve had in London. Spring rolls are great here too - very crispy and fresh. The lunch deal can’t be beat either. My only complaint is the vegetarian bun, while tasty, is pretty small.
N. D.
Good food, place is a little tiny and customer service was not too great
G. B.
Great Vietnamese restaurant. Nice decor and lovely food. I had the ginger beef summer rolls which were fantastic. The beef Bun Bo Hue is the best I have had since being in Hue. They also used silverside beef in the dish which was of a high quality and really delicious. Its not often you get such high quality meat in noodles. Really enjoyed the food and all reasonably priced at between £9-£10 a main and around £5 a starter.
We will be back
S. B.
Small restaurant that does a vegetarian and non vegetarian set menu. The quality is good, but portion sizes are a little small. The tables are close together so it can feel a little cramped. More seating is available downstairs. The staff are also polite and helpful. Booking is advised for dinner later in the week or at the weekend.
D. P.
Visited Pho and Bun for the first time 18/6/19 and found the food to be delicious. We chose the 4 course set menu priced at £16 and was very good value.Friendly staff, great atmosphere. Will definately be returning.
K. J.
😍I absolutely love this place, the food is always amazing, I am never disappointed. I haven't been to Vietnam but my daughter has, she said it's the closest you'll get to thethe wonder street food. it's fresh, tastes beautiful. You can get a start and a main for £10!!!! Between 1-5pm. one of my favourite places to eat in london. 🙏🏼
and the taste
E. M.
Came here for my mum's birthday yesterday. My dad is a picky eater as he's not very familiar with Asian foods and as a pescatarian (though mostly vegetarian), but he loved the food. The aubergine starter was great for him (especially with the chilli sauce that came with it) and the mains of the wok fried noodles he loved. He did want it spicier however but they weren't able to match that. Luckily he had the chilli sauce to add to the noodles.
My mum and I both loved this place and felt very looked after. Make sure you make a reservation either over the phone or online as you'll get a better table than just walking in. I love the atmosphere and the Pho is great.
S. (.
Great little hidden gem, great service and also fast. Vegetarian options also great
W. K.
Good food, friendly staff, great location.
Y. D.
Amazing bun 😍 Perfect pho
A. K.
Delicious. Prompt and delightful service. Amazing food. Five stars
A. Z.
Had a wonderful meal, cannot recommend the tofu enough! We had the summer rolls, crispy tofu, tofu bao and aubergine bao, everything was incredible. Service was prompt and attentive - we were seated quickly and never kept waiting.
Z.
Great authentic food. Pedro looks after us every time and he is great.
A. D. (.
Food was ok really disappointed by the very small calamari dish they had on there lunch menu which cost and extra two pounds...
The bao bun was very taste but again for the price wasn't filling.
I would say my colleague ordered better so will probably come again.
K. N.
I had the crispy tofu pho and for about £11 a pop, this is a good stumble upon place for the next time you're in central London and need a quick bite! Generous servings and well done broth, we left feeling pretty satisfied. The desserts look like they're a winner too - somethings to try next time perhaps.
T. Y.
One of the best tasting beef pho I've ever had. Noodles and the broth were on point. However this restaurant isn't for the hungry or big eaters. Portions are quite small but super delicious
J.
Delicious and well priced. The tofu bao burger was a little bland, but oh my lorrrrd, the vermicelli with crispy tofu and the spring rolls were divine. I only wish they offered vegetarian-friendly pho (currently you can only have it with a meat-based stock). Will be back!
P. B.
Really good Vietnamese food. Big choice of dishes. The pork belly was delicious, the pho stock is on point, lots of flavour. Nice atmosphere too with attentive service
A. J.
Food is fine. Good value. Service could be improved.
W. W.
Reasonably good value as a tenner for lunch special, friendly and efficient service. Unfortunate the Pho didn't have much flavour to it, so I won't be back. Maybe if they served it with birds eye chili's, fish sauce and lime instead of lemon?
G. T.
I usually get the Wok fried Garlic beef pho from Ubereats and it never disappoints -- I get that it may be a bit oily for some people, but there's just so much taste and flavour I keep coming back!! Make sure you get the dough sticks; they're legit. We walked into this store and although it looks small, there's additional seating downstairs which makes for a very cosy meal. The decor was impeccable and staff attentive. What're you waiting for?
A. D.
Amazing food! We visited for dinner and had to queue for 10 or so minutes but boy was it worth it. Every dish was delicious and service was fast and friendly. Will be returning.
D. L.
The Grilled pork vermicelli is highly recommended, tasty and the taste brings you to Vietnam immediately. Other dishes also taste nicely. Well done! Reservation is recommended for them to arrange you the seats.
M. M.
Great food and prices!! Lovely staff!!
F. “. B.
Great food and friendly staff - I will be back
G. G.
Friendly and fast service - and super tasty bao burgers!!!! Big recommend.
A. P.
Loved it... Great food. This is a nice little restaurant with more seating downstairs.
I would definitely recommend the food here. The Vietnamese coffee is nice and sweet and gives you the boost required.
Worth a visit.
G. C.
Small cozy restaurant, centrally located in Soho/Chinatown.
Having visiting this place a couple of times, I would suggest you to try the amazingly soft-milky bun with sweet potatoes. I haven't tried such a bun anywhere else, and I was truly surprised.
Of course, if you go for traditional Vietnamese pho then you will enjoy a great variety here with excellent quality''s herds & ingredients.
Totally recommended!
J. F.
So good! We tried the crispy lemongrass tofu, tofu summer rolls, the grilled aubergine and sweet potato bao burger, and the tofu bao burger. I’ve been a vegetarian for 16 years and this is some of the best tofu I’ve ever had! The summer rolls were also delicious and refreshing. I wish I lived in London so I could return frequently.
W. M.
It's really tasty, 100% recommend
H. P. N.
Came here on a busy Friday night with my friend. Unfortunately the service was quite slow, but the staff was friendly enough. The bao burger (with confit pork belly) was top notch, the pork belly melted in our mouth.. it was very delicious! The rare beef pho and prawn summer rolls were ok, but not very authentic. They are very stingy with the herb portions in both - ingredients which make vietnamese food very fragrant! We also had the glass noodles with minced pork, prawn and egg. The sauce was tasty, and very flavourful.
Overall, given the portion size and the quality of the food, I think this place is a bit overpriced, but seeing that it is in the heart of chinatown/soho, I am not surprised. I wish they served more herbs with the food...
S. P.
Best Vietnamese food I've ever had. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and amazing food! Great value for money. Would definitely go again
T. S.
this was insanely good food for a reasonable price (in london)
E. B.
Great traditional Viet, nice location and nice staff.
M. J.
Finally went to see what the fuss was about with this place. Good food and good atmosphere so we weren't disappointed at all! Would certainly go back. It is worth looking on some table booking websites as you can get set menus that aren't advertised through the Pho & Bun website where you get better value for money!
C.
Hot, tasty pho. I asked for no coriander and they did as requested. Their cold Vietnamese drip coffee was super tasty. Uses lemon instead of lime in the pho which is unusual. The sweet potato veggie curry is delicious!
C. M.
Nice staff but I found the pho quite tasteless and with very little beef in for close to £15. Plus I paid full price even though the restaurant is on the governement list of places taking part in eat out to help out scheme.
A. W.
Easy to walk past, but I recommend you don't if you are hungry. Great simple examples of Vietnamese street food. Full of flavour and an accommodating staff to add to the experience.
M. L.
A chain of Vietnamese restaurants. Pretty authentic. Although, of courses, to be properly authentic you'd be sat on a road side in a tiny plastic chair eating food freshly served to you from a massive bowl of pho. Other than that, pretty authentic taste.
R. R.
Went on a Groupon offer of five courses and a glass of prosecco. Did not disappoint! Fresh tasty food and great Pho. Recommend booking though as gets very busy
S. S.
Food is good but didn't feel that welcome throught out the meal
E. T.
This place serves mostly the food from the Viet Eat branch in Holborn with one exception. The sandwiches appear to have disappeared and these are now replaced with buns. You are now thinking small hirata buns from Flesh and Buns or Bao? Nope, it looks more like a hirata bun Western style hamburger, complete with a toothpick down the centre of the bun.
Warning this is a first day soft launch lunch + review:-
The decor is quite homely. I like that they have gotten rid of the canteen style seating and now each table has its own chairs, albeit they still have to put tables in groups of 4 or 6 as there is just not enough space in the restaurant.
The service needs a lot of improvement. They do not have enough menus for the tiny tiny restaurant so a lot of people ended up sharing or waiting for a ridiculously long time without a menu. They keep forgetting orders and needing to ask customers what they ordered (the guy next to us got asked twice by two different waiters and he was irritated).
Food wise, it felt like a let down due to the small portions of food and the eye-watering price on the menu. When we ordered the crab and pork spring roll, one fat spring roll came in two halves. This costs £3.25 I believe? £3.25 for one spring roll is really pushing it. I mean even the portugese tart ladies in Covent Garden only charged £2 for one portugese tart and that was beyond expensive for a tart. I would pay maximum £1. I double checked with the waiter that this is not some half sized dish for the soft launch but he confirmed it was the full priced dish. The second disappointing thing is that you could not taste any crab either.
I ordered the BBQ pork vermicelli and the pork was only luke warm and whilst the portion just about fills you up I left unsatisfied. My colleague's rare beef pho was not very hot either. She thought the noodles were a bit too thick making her think it was Chinese ho fun rather than pho.
When we asked for the bill we were presented with a full priced meal. This was beyond shocking was this was a soft launch and they should automatically charge 50% to everyone. The fact that we had to query this for them to change the bill was the nail in the coffin.
Y. X.
Every dish is a success at Pho & Bun. Dishes recommended in the order of my personal preference are:
- Bò Tái Rare sliced beef Short Rib Pho
- Crispy Spring Roll Pork and Crab
- Honey Glazed Pork Belly and Pork patties served in homemade fish sauce with salad, fresh herbs, and vermicelli
- Sticky Honey Wings
- 28 Days Dry aged beef with red onion relish and smokey mayonaise
R. P.
The food is always great, best pho I've had in London. It is a small but cosy space to eat out in small groups.
S. P.
Went for pre theatre meal. Service friendly and very good. Order came quickly. Food was excellent. Some great cocktrails too. Popular place, so always a good sign. Would recommend.
G. P.
Amazing, food is of high quality. Recommend to reserve. I always go for the tiger prawn burger and sweet potato fries. Usually costs around £20 per head with a drink.
J. P.
Small friendly authentic restaurant. Great food. Good price.
R. W.
Ate here a few months ago, i would eat here again if in the area. Good pho and good starter. small and compact but nice wait staff who will make the effort to accommodate.
S.
Nice food but very small portions and a bit overpriced
S. L.
The food is very good here. The pho is not traditional, however, broad rice noodles instead of linguini style; Service was good, friendly, decent prices for London. It's near Chinatown and the theaters, makes for a good, quick pre-theater meal.
Y. H.
Great food
X. B.
Cozy, nicely decorated, quick service, and the food is goooood. The chilli squid is fantastic and the beef Bun is absolutely delicious. Try the flan if you still have space for dessert.
F. F. e. C.
Very friendly staff and amazing, not too expensive food. For lunch, you can have a set for cheaper. The traditional pho and the meat buns are very good. The sweet potatoe chips are also quite good.
I. J.
Nice and compact Vietnamese restaurant. It has slightly lost its authenticity but still a nice place with tasty food. Staff are friendly and the beer cold.
L. Y.
Pho was okay but the noodles were thick in width rather than thin. Also, it seems as if pho was not their main dish even though it is in their name. A very large tip was also added onto our order by the cashier.
Z. D. J.
Definitely satisfied my pho cravings since moving to London from Sydney. The soup was absolutely delicious. Will surely try more off the menu next time!
C.
We found this little place by chance last night. We loved it! And I've still been thinking about the burger today. Can't wait for my next visit. Great food friendly staff and affordable
T. O.
Food is tasty and prices are very reasonable. Only slight issue was with the cleanliness of downstairs and the toilets
L. U.
The four course set menu for £25 was very filling and worth every penny. I'd definitely get it again! The staff were kind and very welcoming.
S. A.
The staff were friendly and attentive. The prawn pancake was amazing and the pho was fantastic. Definitely one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in London.
S. L.
Absolutely fantastic food across from Queens Theatre.
H. A.
Tiny place on Shaftesbury avenue but nice to drop in. The bun was great! Steamed bao burger with beef was really good! Looking forward to trying the belly pork bao burger. Staff were lovely too!
G. B.
Little restaurant with very nice Vietnamese food.
R. A.
I really liked the food, the staff we're friendly and fast. I would 100% eat here again. The Pho was excellent, as were their burgers.
S. C.
When you get a set menu the starters are small BUT they do taste good. Mains are very tasty . I may come back for the 3rd time soon. Service is not great if that was quality then maybe they could reach 5 star
L. S.
Pho and Bun is the best Vietnamese I've had in London. The meat spring rolls are fresh and delicious, the bun is tasty, and the pho was the best tasting broth since visiting Vietnam. The decor is pretty trendy too.
D. R.
Very tasty noodles and spring/summer rolls. I am also quite allergic to nuts which can be an issue but the menu was very clearly marked and the staff made me feel safe in my choices.
L. S. S.
The set menu is awesome. So is the pork belly bao. I love the waiter that just took some initiative and brought us more beer when we had finished the first round.
Y. B.
Nice Viet food. Papaya salad and steamed burger from the lunch menu were excellent. Some might find it small but I think its good size.
E. K.
The buns were amazing. Big in size and tasted great. Slightly disappointed about the sweet potato fries as they weren't crispy.
Would recommend checking it out though!
J. T.
Good authentic food, that was fresh and not greasy at all. They do a good set menu, 3 courses and a drink for £23 and day any time thats good value
R. O.
They have a delicious pho and bun! That name says it all and to have a power plug station helped a lot on our trip in London so plus point for that
P. V.
Really good food, fabulous service
C. C.
Get the very nice coupon deal! Food is good and stuffs are friendly. The reason I get 4 star is stuffs seem not know their food and table is very small.
A. J.
Good tasty food with decent portion sizes. They seemed to be having slight issues with the timing of he food but the staff were very apologetic and helpful. Definitely worth a visit.
R. G.
Cocktails were great but staff were pushy in trying to turn over tables. It was a busy Saturday evening, but so rude to make us leave when we were about to order dinner!
P. A.
Fantastic Vietnamese Street food restaurant. Good value especially if you find a Tme-out voucher. The seating is very squashed, but as to a friendly atmosphere. Delicious food.
N. R.
Vietnamese restaurant serving Pho, buns and fried dishes in an authentic style. Tastes are fresh, prices reasonable, service a little patchy, but definitely worth a try!
P. P.
The food was excellent! it was so busy however Pedro looked after us and made us feel really special on my wife's birthday so thank you.
D. J.
I highly recommend “sticky honey wings”
E. l.
Very authentic Vietnamese style of cooking, funky and delicious, definitely will go back again. Money of value wise , the food portion was quite small
p. k.
Good portions and price, specially for location
C. D. C.
The Pho is really good! We were just back from a holiday in Vietnam. Didn't expect to find a Pho restaurant with such authentic favor in London. Well done!
D. K.
The MOST amazing Vietnamese food I EVER had.
HIGHLY recommended.
Fast service and friendly staff.
D. T.
The food here is amazing. Best flavours I have tasted since Vietnam. Great atmosphere and the staff are very friendly and efficient. Fanny
A. S.
So Far, it is the best vietnamese food that i tried in London. Try the Pho and the BBq Pork. The soup was done in 24 hours. The Taste is so great ..
G. B.
Whhhhhhhat. Banging location- but can also be deceptive as it sits right in the middle of tourist central/theatre land. It was my wife that dragged me into this establishment (and I'm glad she did). Let me start with service. These people are bang on the money. Every time I go there my second beer is always on the house. Love it. They always know to bring me a beer from the back of the fridge too. (This is because I sent one back once that wasn't cold enough) which takes me onto beer. Who's ever heard of Saigon beer before? Not me. But it's now in my top 4 beers.
Food. so we haven't experimented much (but that's because we are hooked on the 8hr confit pork burger). Yummo! That along side the sweet potato fries and you are laughing. Desert? Yes please. One coconut/pistachio panna cotta. Happy dayssss!!
M. Á. G. P.
Delicious food and great service. Local small and loud when is crowded. They serve take away as well. Better go with reservation. Highly recommended!!!
M. W.
Great food lovely flavours not massively expensive. Quite full all the time we were there. Could do with Aircon as was very hot inside.
B. M.
Fairly mediocre. Greasy starter and a tasteless rice dish. Also some of the worst summer rolls i've ever eaten. Prawns had been halved to save money and no dip supplied.
Y. R.
Even when crowded the service was quick and precise , we were given good advice. Maybe not the best food ever but warm , big portion and fresh
S. L.
The food was nice, portions a little small for the price. Cool interiors but found one of the male and female staff a little up nose. I was polite but some how it wasnt reciprocated.
R. M.
Good Vietnamese option in central London. Normally have the lunch special with Pho. Great price and very tasty
V. H.
Lovely service, tasty wine. Vegetarian curry was awesome! Can't wait to go back.
Y. C.
Great restaurant for Vietnamese food. The Pho was very delicious. A little bit cramped inside but the staff were excellent.
r. b.
Often go for lunch when in soho. They have added more veggie / vegan options. Food is good but staff can be a bit unattentive - be firm.
J. C.
Lovely food . Normally busy so need to book, worth noting do theatre menus and offers with time out . Gets warm inside often though
Z. D.
Chicken rice bowl was really tasty
T. T.
The food ace delicious the right amount
I had so much fun they became my personal dj voluntary playing music and free deserts to make my birthday extra special (they knew it was my birthday last minute) yet still out of good will they celebrated with me. Thank you staff you are awesome
Worth it guys
B. B.
Good food and friendly staff. The pork belly burger is interesting and the stir fried rice noodle is something special!
K. N.
Fantastic, great food will definitely go again next time I'm in London. Set meal deal was great value for money.
H. A. N.
The worst Tofu Pho I've ever tried!
A. R.
Amazing food and vietnamese drip coffee
M. P.
Pleasant food and customer service. Although the place is quite small and had to wait a bit, it was a good overall experience. perfect for anyone who wants quick but good food!
C. D.
Wonderful place ! Really kind people and tasty food. Good prices. Special thanks to the nice greek server 😊 Our son enjoyed his birthday !
S. A.
Great groupon deal.. 9 dishes and a drink for each one for £40! Good was great and fast service. Highly recommended!
B. W.
Went here with a few friends, and would highly recommend having any of the bao items, and also the pho. The staff are really nice and full of character. Delicious food.
W.
Average service but above average Pho. The cuts for the rare sliced beef pho were not the best, quite sinewy. Good broth though.
l. s. r.
Food is nice, a bit expensive. Lots of rice based food, so it is a good idea for gluten free diets. But contactless doesn't work ;(
A. N.
Good service. Waiters are nice and very helpful toward us. Lovely food and very authentic vietnamese ( as I myself am from vietnam ). Recommend!
S. A.
Delicious pork burger and nice tiger prawns vermicelli. Our waiter was quick and very kind, great customer service!
K. Y.
Delicious ramen. Try also their special burger. You won’t regret it. But the best part is the waitress whı served us. She was amazing.
S. C.
cheap but good-tasted food! Recommend its spring roll and pho which is with beef soup! I love the pho so much! It is sooo warm to having a hot pho🍜 in a winter day
M. H.
Very nice spring rolls and the vegetable soup was fresh and nice! The place always busy and the staff are excellent!
J. P.
Great food although the service can be a little slower than I'd like (not too bad though compared to other restaurants, just compared to Chinese restaurants in the area which are super fast)
T. V.
This is the best Pho place in this area. You'll find the place almost full always, but for a good reason. Deffo get a Pho from here
C. A.
Absolutely amazing food! Authentic and really tasty. The waitress was also amazing, really nice to talk with!
T. H.
Good value for money with one of the many vouchers available. That said, food was only average and was waiting 30 mins between courses despite it not even being peak time...
L. W.
Tasting Menu was spot on! Busy place but quick tentative staff
J. T.
Good food very small tables and staff more interested in chatting than serving the people who pat their wages. All down to sub standard management
S. C.
Delicious food at a great price. No dress code and they only take cash payments!
C. B.
Great cozy little place for lunch . Service was fast and friendly and the pho was sublime .deffo up there with the best pho iv had before .
T. E.
Really tasty food with a good value lunch offer
F. M.
Very good food and affordable prices. The one problem is the noise when the restaurant is packed. Maybe not the best location for the first date.
D. P.
Great atmosphere and the service was fantastic. Food was brilliant twist on the contemporary. Tried the steamed bun!
S. M.
Food was good but not amazing however the prices suited. The atmosphere and decor was pretty nice.
Z. P.
Amazing taste 10/10, slightly below average portion sizes. Not a cheap eat in comparison to surrounding restaurants.
N. B.
Good food, reasonably priced but too many tables crammed together for comfort on street level. Probably better downstairs.
C. N.
Taste: 3.5 because it's not quite authentic, need to work on the texture. Decor & staff: 5 very nice concept.

Great place, quite cosy and good Vietnamese food. Try the Belly pork burger, pork lollipops and sweet potato fries

Chicken pho was not bad, the spring roll and the fried rice was so so. The tofu pho was a bit bland.
I. F.
