Quirky and quaint little gem in Hammersmith I met up a friend in Hammersmith and she suggested to have a special afternoon tea for the new year. We met up at Hammersmith station and walked for 10 mins to Poppy’ III which is a Thai restaurant and located in a residential area. Poppy’s III 📍 129 Brackenbury Rd, London W6 0BQ WHAT WE GOT Poppy’s Platter 🐔Satay Chicken 🫔Spring Rolls 🍤Prawn Rolls 🥟Vegetable Gyozas 🍞Prawn on Toasts 🦐Prawn Crackers You can never know it is a Thai restaurant until you look at their menu. It’s decorated like a cafe but also a museum with different animal mounts. The platter was beautifully presented like an afternoon tea and it’s just £10💖💖💖The Spring Roll and Prawn Roll were crispy and flavourful. The chicken was perfectly matched with the rich satay sauce. The Prawn Toast was topped with sesame seeds which levelled up the tastiness. Love them all😍😍😍 How’s the gyoza? See my next post on Instagram @ccgyozalover for details 🤗 The food was amazing. The staff was friendly and attentive. The decor was wonderful. The price is really reasonable. Poppy’s has 3 branches in Hammersmith including @poppythaieatery which located even more closer to Hammersmith station. As they only accept cash, please prepare enough notes if you go there 😉

This won't be for everyone. It is a place stuffed (excuse the pun) with taxidermy animals and birds amongst the flowers and delicate decor. It makes for a totally unique experience! Food was exceptionally good. Service lovely.

Decent place with fancy deco. Food is above average with a specially good dish - fried tilapia with three flavor. Cash only place and noted if you got 10 pound in changes, they may give you 10 coins! Happened to me and I found it strange.

Advisable to book a table for here. You can bring your own alcohol which is £2 per head. The dishes are a good size and very tasty and good value. This is my go to place when I'm in the area. The decor is odd but kinda makes the place unique.

Ok this place is hands down the best restaurant I have been to all year so far, I would give it 6⭐ if possible. I was left speechless after my meal, The decor was eclectic and kitsche 👌🏾 So much to look at and be awed by. I love the exclusivity and location tucked away in suburbia. No alcohol is served on the premises but it is BYOB - off license just next door ! The service is one of the winning features- the waiting staff are chatty ,knowledgable and go out of their way to help: the waiter dropped one piece of (amazing!) Thai calamari and brought us a fresh piece pronto- very unnecessary but very kind :) ¹ Well done Poppy's Thai ³ - last in their ever-growing empire but certainly not least ! P.s Cash only!!! 🥰

I ordered a takeaway from Poppy's III and it was so good my family and I just had to visit it in person. The first thing you notice is the design, which is very unique - full of taxidermied animals, it's like an over-the-top Victorian theme. The main attraction isn't the design, it's the food - we've been to several Thai restaurants in the past and my mother has eaten in Thailand, and this is the best Thai food we had ever had. The tea and Guineas chocolate cake were perfect too - the cake was nice and moist. They have a discount lunch menu during the week which we definitely hope to try.

What meets the eye at first transits to what spoils the palate later. Richly decorated, but without losing sense of taste and decency; even the cutlery is delicate and obviously carefully selected. Polite and unintruding service. And of course the food - lots of choice, authentic, and delicious, while still being offered at perfectly reasonable prices. Combine that with the bring-your-own-drinks concept, which allows you to indulge in some nice wine at shop and not restaurant prices, and you are in for a treat. An altogether highly recommendable place situated in a nice and quiet neighbourhood.

Poppy's is always a perfect meal. Even when ordering delivery it always arrives pipping hot! So accommodating with any dietary requirements and will amend dishes for you to have if necessary! My favourite Thai in London.

Good Thai restaurant with very reasonable prices. Food is nice and they try to make it look better with unique plates and decorations. Interior would be a bit overwhelming as they are so much unlike Thai restaurant.

Poppy’s is eclectic in decor and the food is exceptional. Creative presentation adds to the fun. The decor is not to everyone’s taste, particularly vegetarians - although it’s important to add that their actual veggie food is yummy. It’s BYOB for alcohol and cash only. Other than massively recommend and the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was due to a lack of AC on hot days. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Brackenbury!

So tasty and amazing value. It’s cash only so remember to take some (there’s a cash point near by of you forget). Bring your own bottle is encouraged which makes things super fun, especially as there’s an off licence next door. All in all, meal for two came to £23 together for the best Thai curry I’ve had in a long time. Give it a go!

Poppy's has the most incredible decor and atmosphere! The cheap meal prices are worth just a look around. The food isn't mind-blowing but it's incredibly tasty and they will do a vegan option if you ask. For around a fiver, you cannot go wrong

I highly recommend all three Poppy's! An absolute gem in Hammersmith. Super quirky interior, it's a bit like being inside one of those "hidden object" games. The food is delicious and very affordable. The maximum price of their menu is about £8.50 and to top that - they're BYOB (bring your own alcohol) with a corkage of only £2. So you can eat affordably and splurge on some wine to take with! The food is really good, I've been to all the Poppy's and I haven't been disappointed so far. The service is quick as well. The only downside would be that they are cash only, so you'll have to remember to bring cash. But apart from that - a great place!

Fantastic that popular Poppys Thai restaurant chain have revamped this place. Great food, decor and it's BYO. Only thing that lets it down is the cheap looking and dirty takeaway style menus. They could do with a rethink.

BYO and Cash only. Tasty food and a unicorn (come and see!). The place is BYO wine with a couple of pounds corkage. The off licence next door shuts at 8pm. Make sure you bring cash as the nearest cash point is a 10 min walk. Would be 5 stars if they took card or at least let me know it was cash only on the phone when I booked.

Such a lovely place to eat out! It’s full of taxidermy animals which is very unique, and it’s very flowery and lovely as well. The staff are generally very nice, the food is absolutely sublime (loads of vegan options!), and it’s quite cheap with free BYO as well! Highly recommend
