Lovely Authentic South Indian food. Better Dosa than lots of South Indian restaurants. Uttapam is nice and vegetarian Samosa taste so good. Very polite friendly and clean. Prices are very reasonable too.

The food is simply beautiful. Home cooked with all the flavour you would expect from South India. Service always friendly and helpful. Loads of vegetarian options. We are regulars and love their authentic food.

Probably the best South Indian /Sri Lankan restaurant in London. Traditional and authentic food. Big variety of dishes, suitable for any kind of needs or preferences from vegetarian to meat or fish dishes. Prices are great as well, just as the service. It gets busy in the evenings, sometimes you need to wait for a table, but it's surely worth it.

I still rate this place highly for the authenticity of flavours for South Indian food. The service can be slow, but the food is well worth the wait. The paneer starter was so delicious, I could have eaten it again! I only ate veggie but it was so good. My children enjoyed the stuffed paratha (potato and paneer). Can't wait to go again.

Very delicious dosas!! Was looking for a place to satisfy my dosa cravings and this place did it just right. Humble and friendly staff. Great soulful music and the aroma make your food taste even better. Will definitely visit many more times 👍🏻👍🏻

Tasty and good value place for South Indian and Sri Lankan food. I really enjoyed my dosai although would have preferred sambal to daal and would have liked some coconut chutney. Service was also a bit slow so giving it 4/5.

The decors not great and you can easily walk past without noticing however if you do go inside the food is amazing, and cheap. The best Dosas I've had in London. I travel 20 minutes on the tube in the opposite direction to where i live, to go eat there! My only criticism, the toilets could do with fixing up and a better choice of draft beer wouldn't go a miss

I'm not an expert on south Indian food but iv tried the Thalis and Dosas here and they are as good as anywhere else iv tried these dishes in London. Service is excellent now they have a decent new waiter in!!

Second time going being a dosa lover, this time I asked for extra crispy dosa as the last was tasty but soggy and it was soggy again T_T however this time aswell I got the 'crispy' chilli idli'and was soggy, ) : Sort it out please guys Staff were nice and sauces were tasty thankyou for that, half way there

The South Indian menu contains plenty of unusual treats I don't often find in the regular curry houses; think enormous masala dosas for £4, proper thalis, cashew nut pakoras, poori etc. Portions are genuinely huge so order carefully; we picked a veggie thali, dosa and poori between two and it was far too much (they're OK with doggie bags, though). The masala dosa, particularly, is perfect; gorgeous coconutty accompaniment and lightly spiced potato curry. Meals are very cheap - ours came in at £23, although we didn't drink. My only niggles were that they claim to only take cash (despite the prominent card machine by the till..) and my seat was unfortunately right by the not-sweet-smelling bathroom.

Excellent South Indian / Sri Lankan food. I'm always looking for good south indian restaurants that are not Keralan and serve the range of dosa, idli, and various other authentic dishes. This place cooks curries like my mum. Top that!. I recommend the Thali's but you will feel stuffed after having it. Enjoy.

Priya is a little out of place, being a fairly smart eatery among more functional fast food outlets. The chilli paneer is excellent: I asked for spicy and it held back no punches. It was quite Szechuan in style, coming in a sauce of medium thickness with chopped peppers and fried onions, whereas other chilli paneer dishes I've had have been somewhat drier. I was surprised it wasn't served with a roti or chappati, as I'm used to, but that in no way detracted from my satisfaction: it didn't need any bread as there was so much paneer that what I had was amply filling, and the sauce was just the right amount not to leave too much to need mopping up. I will definitely venture to Priya again when I am struck by a chilli paneer craving, though I will be less bold in my specification of spiciness!

Appearances can be deceiving! Don't let the exterior or the unfortunate placement next to McDonalds put you off - this is the finest curry you'll have in East London. South Indian and Sri Lanka influence, try he Masala Dosa, Uttapam and Idli Samba that will extend your India palette beyond the standard curry fare found elsewhere.
