Great experience and a beautiful location. The food was incredible, especially the rabbit and the heart of the duck. Service was impeccable and the staff really prepared about the food and the wine. The only flaw was that when I asked for bread I didn't receive because they don't serve bread. (Personally, I would recommend adding it on the menu). I will be back for sure.

If there's a place in London that deserves more than 5 stars it's Publiq. We had the best time here. Everything about it was outstanding. - The staff (in our case M****e), was so nice, friendly and responsive. It honestly made our experience multitudes better! - The food was mind-blowingly delicious! If you go there you have to check-out the wild mushrooms and the croquettes! They are exceptionally good! - The ambience was cute too, the restaurant was clean and we spent an hour and a half without feeling even a little discomfort.

Amazing food! Brisket croquettes were crispy and perfect, the rabbit sliders were pleasantly plump, and the mushrooms with tarragon were unbelievably delicious. Friendly staff and very reasonable prices. Strongly recommend, hope to visit again soon.

Greg and the whole team at Publiq make the bar absolutely world class. They focus on the drinks, which are absolutely fantastic, but not just the drinks. The food is absolutely cracking and they have some of the best service in London. Everything is brought with a smile. It's totally unpretentious, and just a great place for lunch, dinner or a drink. My mum was visiting for her birthday and we had tickets for the design museum - I wanted to find somewhere nearby for lunch, and so glad I trusted the reviews for this place. The space is well-designed and welcoming. It’s small, but has a great atmosphere. The service was impeccable - including two complimentary glasses of prosecco to celebrate the occasion. We went for the set lunch which was great value at £25 each. The food was cooked perfectly and flavourful. The cocktail list is also amazing, you can tell there’s genuine thought/talent behind the drinks (try the rhubarb and tonka sour!) Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area! Far better choice than the other chain restaurants that are around.

The best meal I had in London. I was surprised to get a table on a Friday night for a restaurant that has the depth of flavors that is has. Greg was super welcoming and kind explaining each dish and the process of ordering. He suggested the mushroom dish and it was probably some of the best mushrooms I have ever had. I came here with some pals to have a chocolate tart. They are of the French kind and they said the tart and croquettes transported them back to France. What a delightful establishment!! The first thing you notice about Publiq is how relatively small it is. Don’t let that fool you, small in stature, huge in depth. A wonderfully intimate feel, enhanced by enormously creative food, beautiful presentation and wonderful staff/owners. Everything was so full of flavour but the mushrooms dish was to die for. One would never believe a mix of mushrooms could be so creative and satisfyingly flavourful. Do not miss out on this little gem!

Well, it is very unusual for me not to have taken any photo's of the food....but it truly was that good that I simply forgot all about it. Nothing average about any of the many dishes me and my partner sampled. Very relaxed, upbeat vibe, great staff, amazing food and drinks selection. Inventive, boundary pushing dishes, but with the quality and taste to back it up. I will definitely return. A breath of fresh air in an area with quite a staid, conservative selection of restaurants, offering average food at top prices. It is a more expensive option, but not overly priced. A little restaurant next to Hyde Park and Royal Albert Hall! It’s perfect to pop in before going to a show or concert for drinks and eat something lightly. The food was so unique and has a complex flavour in a positive way! I was impressed by the look and taste of burrata. Should be a nice addition for a luxury night out.

Stumbled across Publiq whilst in London, went in on a whim as we walked past - and I’m extremely glad that we did! The cocktails are fantastic, and good value (for London!) It was recently voted Number 45 in the Top 50 of UK Cocktail Bars, well deserved. Whilst relatively small, the interior is fresh, modern and a relaxing place to spend time. The Tapas food was excellent, especially the mushrooms! The staff are very friendly, relaxed and knowledgeable - they even gave us an umbrella when we left due to the heavy rain (which we still have). We’d definitely visit again if down there. I’d highly recommend a visit if you’re in the area 😊

Rarely you find a reasonably priced spot in London with such surprising and delicious menu! We loved the Farm to table concept here, only serving the best and freshest ingredients of the season. Easily one of the most across the board impressive food and drink experiences in all of London, perfectly blending innovative creativity with the kind of confident perfectionism that can only come with decades of combined experience. Before you even walk through the door the service shines with every member of staff being extremely knowledgeable and professional, while still maintaining a casual and friendly atmosphere which leaves you feeling relaxed, comfortable and open to the dining experience, flawless. The food is incredible. Every dish sounds impressive on the menu and somehow always manages to to impress even more upon consumption, not a single step wrong. The cocktails were brilliant, the wine list was fantastic and we received some brilliant recommendations for both. I will be recommending Publiq to every single person I know and will be returning at every opportunity I can. Stunning experience.

Lovely local restuarant minutes walk from the Royal Albert Hall. We had lunch there on a Sunday before our show. Location great, opposite Hyde Park and very close to the venue. Food was amazing, service great, and would 100% return and recommend (regardless of if we were going to the Royal Albert Hall). One tiny thing (which wouldn't change my rating) was as I had my 7 year old daughter with me (who was particularly hungry) it would be great to have had some bread or snacks a little more suited to young children, however the service was quick so she wasn't hungry for long!! :)

Without a shadow of doubt this is the best place for cocktails in Ken! The staff are superb and very knowledgeable, they truly care about finding something on the menu to suit everyone. They are always very accommodating even if it means sitting outside in the winter they always ensure you are warm enough under the patio heaters. Had an absolutely magical evening here with balanced flavours, the perfect pairing of drinks, the warm ambience, and especially the friendliest of service! A huge shout-out for the user experience - our server (Marine) went above and beyond! We were suggested a possible show nearby, and the courses were so smoothly timed - with the bill kept ready for us so we would reach the show with perfect timing. The amount of thoughtfulness and consideration put in was astounding! No surprise that this is my favourite restaurant in London so far, and very certainly going to be frequenting quite a bit. P.s. Amazing food and a lovely evening! Despite our very last-minute, Saturday night booking, Greg, Marine and the team at Publiq. were friendly and accomodating, even bringing two glasses of champagne upon arrival for my girlfriend's soon to be birthday. It's the first restaurant I've been to where the cocktails taste as good if not better than the food, and given the food was fresh, interesting and beautifully cooked, it makes for a delightful combination. It was great to hear how passionate the team are about Publiq., and the proof of this passion and hard work is shown in the unique and delicious dishes (& cocktails!) they serve and the quality of service accompanying it. I can't recommend Publiq. more and will definitely be returning when next in London. Thanks again!

Absolutely fantastic meal. We were staying nearby and did not want to go far and extremely happy that we secured a table at Publiq. We were 4 people (husband, wife, 13 year old and 70+ year old) and all 4 appreciated the symphony of flavors and quality of ingredients. We ordered 6 main dishes, 1 starter and 1 side dish. Beef, pork, chicken, trout, mushrooms, burratta, etc. Each dish was immaculately prepared and delicious. Michelin quality without the wait, price or stuffiness. And the service, especially from Marine was outstanding. The venue is cute and comfortable but older people must be cautious about dining downstairs due to the steep staircase. We are fortunate enough to eat at some of the best places around the world and yet we will remember Publiq for its creativity, quality and hospitality. Next time we visit London, we will reserve at table at Publiq.

We came here with 4 friends. The place is really nice and the food is amazing, the chef is so creative it is hard to define a style. The staff is super friendly and they really do their best so we have a wonderful time. The food comes like a mezze, sharing plates, all with high quality and well sourced raw products and I would recommend the mushrooms. Leave some space for dessert, the chocolate tart was outstanding (even for french standards !). For the wine, We had a truly well done red Barbera d'Etna. Overall a great time, we will come back. Amazing food and service. Was there last week after reading reviews. Staying at Baglioni and so it’s just a few steps away. The vegetable tempura is my fav, followed by the sirloin steak. These are small sharing portion so 4-5 items is good for 2. The choc tart is fabulous to share. Will go back again.

This was a nice cozy little restaurant that my husband and I stopped at after visiting Hyde Park. The menu was seasonal and weirdly different from the one displayed on the fence right outside, which seems deceiving imo. We both got the lunch combo of 25GBP each. The asparagus tempura appetizer was the first time I've ever had asparagus tempura and it was delicious! The main was a duck with a parsnip puree and while good, the duck was a bit tough. The side was roasted potatoes with aonori and a Chipotle kewpie mayo which was also good. So finally, the food was above average but not amazing. Serving size was not that much either. Service was good, but I did feel weirdly pushed for us to pay 1GBP for filtered water in order to donate the money towards a cause that donates water to 3rd world countries. As an American where all restaurants are obligated to give free water I still hate UK's concept of asking people to pay for water even if it's for a good cause.

This restaurant was recommended by friends. We went to see the Van Gogh exhibition at Kensington Gardens and Publiq was close by. Small, but intimate and warm. We were greeted with the biggest smile and we felt as we were regulars. Moroccan rose was a nice surprise. Then the sharing dishes arrived- what a taste! Everything we tried from the Sea bass ceviche, Cobia fish, to wild mushrooms, asparagus and burrata tasted exquisite! Infused in a unique way these dishes could not disappoint even big foodie, like myself. We were all impressed and will definitely come back soon. Well done!

Wow. What impeccable customer service. Our waiter was personable, attentive and so kind. I can't recommend this place enough and their outside seating area was the perfect way to catch up with friends and be safely within the rules. First outing since the pandemic and I can say not only is safety paramount at Publiq but the food and drinks are worth every second spent out doors. Mouthwatering, heartwarming dishes and equally as delicious cocktails ! Plus there is even room for your pooch 😍❤️ I’ll definitely be back ASAP!

Whoever curated their menu is a genius! From the moment we entered we were greeted by enthusiastic and delightful staff who truly made the experience special. Now for the food... Oh it makes me smile just thinking about it! In one word, 'DIVINE'! The flavours are so carefully chosen, it is hard to put into words quite how astounded I was after the first mouthful! The dishes were unique in every sense of the word and if you are a foodie like me, I guarantee no matter what you pick from the menu will blow your mind. Something as 'simple' as wild mushrooms will forever live rent free in my mind. The duck hearts with hoisin sauce, although unusual and having never eating them before, I would definitely recommend trying! The pork melts in your mouth and honestly tastes so incredible that it might be a plate to share but I would happily devour it all by myself! If you're able to try the mushrooms with the pork you won't regret it (Literal mouthgasm). Now even if you don't have room left, you have to try one of the desserts, the presentation was fantastic and compliments the innovative flavours they use. Overall the food portions were perfect to share, I don't know how anyone could want to ruin the flavour of such decadent food with bread let alone have space for it! We did however have space for multiple cocktails which were definitely worth it, again proving to be unique in design and ingredients, perfectly paired together. Publiq has become quite literally my favourite restaurant that I've ever been to across the UK & Europe. Will we be going back? Without a doubt! Would I recommend to friends? Absolutely, it's a very intimate environment due to sharing dishes but my partner and I couldn't get enough. Thank you Publiq.

Shhh don't tell anyone! There's a great little restaurant tucked away close to the Royal Albert Hall. Amazing food, friendly welcome, biodynamic wine - great value for money! I know it's hard to believe in London, but there you go. Our own little secret.
