Reviews of Radio Rooftop
Y. E.
Nice brunch menu, but would be great to have the breakfast served until later at the weekend. Ends at 11am and has a better selection. View is excellent and great that it's unrestricted, but warm and cosy!
G. S. W.
Went for breakfast with a view which was a lovely way to start the day. With a decent variety of breakfast choices available on the menu. I reckon it's even nicer here into the night when the weather is right! With cocktails at sunset and a live Dj playing.
H. W.
SatNav misguided us a little .. wasn't clear that it's located in the Hotel ME building (but that may be just us!) and then once inside there are 3 lifts but only one goes upto the roof terrace.. the one on the left (with Radio written either side of the doors). Lovely, friendly staff who were very attentive and accommodating. We had some drinks and just fancied to try the Pina Colada share dessert ... delicious! We will be back!!
M. K.
Amazing view, good food, great place.... we wait 45 min for service 😡..but the guy who served us was very nice and polite so I'll leave the 5 stars review 😉
B. Y.
Service was great, food was a little bland for the price you pay, great drinks menu! Our server was handling too many table at the end of our meal, he was rushed off his feet!
A.
Lovely restaurant with a beautiful view. Very calm and nice atmosphere. Me and my friend enjoyed the pan fried seabass while having a glass of rose which was lovely. Definitely going to visit there more.
D. M.
Stopped here for drinks celebrating a birthday.
Staff were nice and attentive. Couldn't fault them.
They've a decent drinks menu, too.
Of course, as a rooftop bar/restaurant in London you can be assured half the tables will be busy taking selfies throughout. Entertaining.
Views are nice, though.
G. S.
Stunning views of Westminister, the Thames and the London Eye. Came in without reservation for coffee on a quiet Monday afternoon. The staff was friendly and cordial. Paid about £12 for a cappuccino and a tea, but that's not far from what I was expecting to pay in a beatiful rooftop like this. Perhaps, choose a cheaper coffee shop if you're tight on money. If you're visiting on weekends, I highly reccomend to book a table in advance.
S. J. H.
I make sure to ALWAYS come visit for drinks or dinner when I come to London. I love the rooftop; lovely view, great drinks and food, gracious staff…nothing lacking. I’m coming back in November!!
C. C.
Beautiful place with a great view over London. The meal was delicious, we really enjoyed it . The ambiance was there to keep us going . We really enjoyed our night out .
A. W.
A fabulous weekend away. The staff couldn't do enough and made my Birthday trip so special. We will visit again in September.
Visit the roof top for scrumptious food, delicious cocktails and of course first class service with a phenomenal view.
R. T.
Went here for a romantic brunch date and this certainly didn't disappoint. The food was beautiful, really lovely flavours that worked so well together, and the portion sizes were very reasonable too. Service was okay, however wasn't amazing as we were kept waiting a fair amount and it felt a little like we were forgotten about, with some of the things we ordered needing to be chased up. Overall however, everyone seemed friendly and food was good. Would recommend and visit again.
R. R.
Scenic London skyline setting with a good selection of drinks and bites. However serving time was more than 40 minutes. For a 2 hour reservation that was a loss.
C. J.
We went here for drinks and some nibbles and cannot fault the service. Our waiter was very friendly and made some very good wine reccomendations. We left just as it was getting dark and for a wonderful view of the skyline.
S. D. L.
This place was truly device 😍 the staff were polite, attentive and friendly...the food was fresh and tasted great, the cocktails good too but the view of London wellllll it was the icing on the cake 😍 highly recommend 🙂
C. L.
Fantastic panoramic views as you would expect with all of the landmarks within view. The seating arrangements were good with heaters installed to take the chill off. I went mid May on a not particularly warm day and did not feel cold. the food was good, we were part of a large party and this didn't effect the quality. Staff friendly and attentive and provided great prompt service. All in all a good experience.
G. P.
View was excellent, food was good, as was the service, pricing on the steeper side but I guess that's expected. It's a nice experience. There is a retractable roof cover if weather becomes wet.
N. E.
The rooftop will no doubt be beautiful on one of those rare English summer days, but in the meantime they've done a brilliant job in creating a space that is sheltered from the elements. They were a bit late to take our order due to an extremely busy night but more than compensated for it with a free glass of champagne and dessert! My salmon poké bowl was delicious and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this as a wonderful place for drinks and dinner in that London.
N. S.
Superb views over the Thames and Somerset House. Nice atmosphere with comfortable open restaurant with good acoustics. Food and drinks were good, a bit pricey, however in line with what I'd expect for a roof top bar in London with great views. We sat inside to eat as the sun was hot when shining on you if outside. The outside area was comfortable with protection from the wind and rain if needed, we were able to enjoy some drinks later in the early evening sun on the terrace.
W. O.
Not the best crowd, I was looking forward to a a classy night but it didn’t deliver. The good was also meh.
J. H.
Stunning views from up here! Gets very busy and don’t expect to get a seat, especially outside. Good range of drinks and cocktails. Food is available. Menu looked reasonable.
H. W.
Such a stunning place this is the first time me and my hubby visiting Radio Rooftop and it did not disappoint.
We booked a table and was treated very well the staff so helpful as I myself am a Vegetarian and have some food allergies, and a nice gentleman helped me out was very grateful for this and taking time to do so.
The views from the restaurant are so good and you can go to the outside bit and take some pictures.
The food was very nice I had a salad the dressing that was on it was one of the best for me.
Very happy with this place and we will be coming back again.
J. Q.
I might be bias because I came on an exceptionally sunny day , but I had a great experience. The staff were very kind and accommodating. Because it was my birthday they even gave me a slice of birthday cake which was greatly appreciated. They also allowed me to use the terrace uninterrupted once we had finished our food.
M. W.
Had a wondeful time at Radio rooftop.
The venue is outstanding and the food was so tasty..cocktails were lovely.
The hit of the restaurant was a guy called Henry ...excellent host, funny attentive and friendly. A girl called Monica was also great addition to the experience. Loved it all.xx Thanks guys!!!
C. M.
We had a very nice moment. Thanks to Marco, Monica and the rest of the team. Food and drinks were very good.
We will come back.
Thank you guys 👌
W. P.
Food and atmosphere were great. Service was a little slow even when not busy, but I think COVID related staffing difficulties may have been to blame.
D.
Have only been here for drinks. Great bar, great service and awesome views. Absolutely recommended to reserve a table in advance
G. K.
Lovely food, amazing view and great service
M.
A hidden gem for some fancy breakfast in London without spending a whole arm and leg. We weren't able to sit outside due to high winds but the inside was just as nice and enjoyable.
v.
Atmosphere and service was good. Food and drink didn't taste that good and the portion was really small for the price paid. 1/3 the size of a normal main course
R. J.
Nice roof top bar with fantastic views over the London skyline, drinks were fairly pricey but probably the same as most London bars. The night we visited it was our anniversary so we booked a table for after the show, we got the timings slightly wrong and called to change the time by 30 mins and they were very helpful saying if we got there early the table would be there for us. We were staying at the hotel so they knew we were celebrating our anniversay and they brought us out a free desert to go with our drinks which were very nice. All in all a very nice night and we had a fantastic time.
S. M.
This is amazing place for having dinner and drinks. View is amazing and staff is very polite. Service and food is excellent. I would highly recommend this place.
A. A.
Great place but the service was very slow for us, especially for a Monday night. Had to wait more than 40 minutes to get our drings.
The place is nice. The view was fine but i think in summer it is better as you get to sit outside
J. P.
Good service from Marco and Monica, they bring us really good service.
Food and drinks was really good I come back 100% sure. Thank you guys.
R. A.
For a place of this reputation, I'd have expected more from their lobster roll than dry brioche bun, dry / bland lobster filling. Lobster has so much flavour and they somehow wasted the opportunity to create a staple menu item. Cocktails nice as always.
C. k.
I would've given it a 5 star if they had better vegetarian/vegan food of varieties. As a lacto vegetarian, I don't have meat as well as anything that contains egg and fish and due to that I was only able to have the vegan salad for brunch. I was really looking forward to hot food but unfortunately because of my requirements they were only able to provide the vegan salad. It was nice but it wasn't anything special. I had to have fries with it because that was the only hot dish I could think of. Quiet dissapointed with the food that's been played for vegans and vegetarians and would highly advice that to be changed in order to please and bring more customers in. Overall the event was fairly nice, celebrated my friends birthday. The view was magnificent and the staff were very kind however slightly slow with service as we did wait a while for food.
A. L.
No AC in the rooftop, way to hot and uncomfortable, they display this bar as a so high standards and the service was poor, rude waiter, if you are not staying there you have to pay in advance.. really. I only do that in pubs. Anyway the view is fabulous, just worth a drink and that’s about it. ( their flower pot)
V. Y.
Stunning views across London. A varied selection of dishes ideal to share - we had sliders, croquets and chicken satay followed by icecream and churros. The servers were happy to recommend cocktails. Well worth a visit. We visited on the spur of the moment but it may be advisable to book
A. H.
Not that impressed to be honest. Highly overrated, very expensive, limited menu, waitresses who look down on you and belittle you . If it was not for one particular waitress I would have rated this reasturant lower. If you are expecting views as depicted in most pictures, only go in the summer as the rest of the time, the roof is closed and the plastic curtains go up, so your views are spoiled of London. There are better roof bars to visit in London
N. S.
Great when you're looking for an 'exclusive' feeling. There's some pretty high class people over here, which made me kind of uncomfortable being there. Make sure to get a reservation when wanting to eat during peak hours for dinner time. Personnel is quite friendly. Prices for normal beverages (sodas) are average. Alcoholic drinks such as cocktails are easily 17 pounds. Glass of cheapest wine is 10 pounds. The view however on the top is nice. Can get noisy though.
R.
Typical of a hise rise bar really. High prices, poor service. Could be a much better bar with just a little TLC from management. Full of tourists so I suppose they don't really need to Impress. Would be good for a corporate event where you can get away with it, but not much else. Will not be coming again. Guy who took our bill at the end was lovely which pushed it up to 3 stars.
Daughters review (6 years): Apple juice is watery.
C. B.
Brilliant views, the white espresso is by far the best cocktail I have ever had! Seafood platter very nice
M. S.
Truly an amazing couple of night's spent here with a very special someone. Definitely now my favourite bar in London.
D. G.
First time here, reception looks swanky and the rooftop is trendy with really nice outdoor sofas that just invite you to sit down. I’ve been to a few rooftop places and Radio has been nicely set up. Expect normal pricey drinks. Great place though.
R. A.
Beautiful, elegant and clean place with amazing views. Easy to find.
Staff were great and helpful.
The food is top notch. Sea bass & salmon
Drinks, rosey was quiet good but Pina Colada cocktail was the worse I've tasted in my life.
Prices are somewhat reasonable but not the portions.
Toilets needed cleaning, it was like a nightclub scene.
I would probably return
C. N.
Nice food although not a large menu. Great view and accommodating staff!
M.
Stunning place! Even if it was raining heavily, I was in awe of the ambiance. And the vegan breakfast was spectacular! Every piece was a masterpiece. Thank you Radio Rooftop! I shall return!
t. h.
Food and drinks were amazing. Marco and the rest of the team offered great service. Thank you!!
L. W.
Visited for a friends birthday in the summer and enjoyed drinks with great views of London. Lovely decor and table service.
L. H.
Beautiful drinks in the rooftop bar with excellent service. The view is fantastic. Highly recommended.
G. G.
I'm not sure what all the bad reviews are about. I found the staff all really nice from front door to table service. This place is 'upmarket' and has some clientele to match, but all in all it is what it is.
The cocktails average at about £10-£12.... pretty fair considering the view and location. Food is average, a little pricey but again, you're paying for the view.
There were plenty of people with sneakers and smart casual cloths, so don't be put off by the other reviews claiming you can't wear alike.
M. P.
New favourite spot! Amazing views of the city, fantastic food and perfect service. Grab breakfast there in the morning and come back for cocktails in the evening. Views for days (and nights) All round fabulous experience! Thank you 👌✨😎
R.
The first time I discovered this place I was completely obsessed kept coming again at least once a week 😂 I love it! Tbh I always go mid week so it’s always the perfect quite place to catch up with friends over drinks. If you plan to go during weekends then I suggest you book in advance. You won’t regret it.
S. C.
A fancy establishment with quite average food for high prices. The views are amazing though if you manage to get there on a sunny day. Service I would say is excellent and staff is very attentive. If you don’t mind average food, then this place is great for a date or catch ups.
A. J.
A great bar, good chill out vibe, good drinks and decent food. The view is really good and the central location makes it very convenient. It's all done up in white so there's definitely an element of classy sophistication going on. They won't let you in with sport shoes, so bear that in mind, but the service is good and altogether a pleasant experience.
M. L.
Beautiful set up. Amazing location. Love the views from here. One can see the whole city and enjoy good and drinks. They seating outside and have good heaters so you won’t feel cold. Best for a date dinner
A. G.
Radio Rooftop has a few great things going for it. Drinks are good - fairly expensive (£11 for a pims) but tasty. The view is pretty spectacular - really one of the main reasons for going up there. The one major downside is that they music was way too loud. Far too loud to have a good conversation.
The staff were lovely though and generally a nice time all round.
R. S.
Nice building great views Service wasn't great In fairness the quality of some Cocktails was very poor and Prices are ridiculously high. I Won't be rushing back
A. M.
Amazing service, amazing views, their coke bottles are 200ml..and that's £3 so if you don't drink its abit pricey.
S. C.
It’s pity since there is not so easy to be outside to admire the view - since they renovated the place only sitting area outside.
Inside is very stylish, but don’t expect to have there nice chat during the afternoon as with DJ on we had the feeling we were in Ibiza party and hardly heard each other.
Service was good.
Didn’t mind higher prices as the view is nice.
O. I.
Afternoon tea was good and the bar itself is lovely. However on arrival the hostess did not seem particularly helpful and could not wait to get away from us as soon as possible. Service was quite slow and our tea went cold before the food came out, music was very loud for 1 in the afternoon( I understand it's called radio rooftop but we couldn't hear each other) also it was my friends birthday and they managed to get the 40th birthday candles round the wrong way
( 4 and 0). Not the friendliest of people but on the whole a nice place
V. N.
Very nice cocktails and environment. We were lucky to get the last table as it was Friday evening after work - when we left there was a queue downstairs. The view from the south side towards Somerset House and the river was nice but if you're sitting at a table you cannot enjoy it - you need to stand. Overall, nice experience but quite expensive. I paid £17 for one cocktail, including service charge.
S. W.
Outstanding views of south and east London. Feels very spacious too, although it wasn’t particularly busy on the Tuesday evening we went.
Service is very slow but some staff still made out to be busy, likely not well trained or working together. Drink and food are crazy expensive but it’s not rushed so you don’t need to spend that much to enjoy yourself
J. G.
Nice place, food average (perhaps better than what yo uexpect from a rooftop bar but not a destination dining for sure)
D. M.
Nice place, although you have a limit 1,5 hour for table and bar ask to hold your credit card before payment. Stuff was a bit cold.
S. C.
Fun rooftop and brilliant views. Make sure to have a booking online before you show up. Prices are quite high and there is a minimum to pay but it's worth it for a couple drinks if you're celebrating something special. Take note you can only have the table for an hour and a half.
J. B.
Well worth the visit for first time here prices cannot say as not paying music bit overbearing definitely well worth visiting
J. W.
Nice views, nice drinks even if overpriced (I get we pay for the view) but the host team is rude and unprofessional.
We all felt really unwanted and unwelcome.
E. L.
Good food and lovely location for a decent price (for London). Service good but it’s obvious they want you out quickly. Needed more than 6 chips with my steak for the price!
S. C.
Atmosphere is great and the drinks are okay but the food is overpriced and bland, and the service is very slow, with some waiters being quite rude.
G. T.
Great rooftop bar just off the Strand in central London!
This place has a perfect mix of indoor and outdoor seating opportunities, fire and heaters to keep you warm outside, seats at the bar or at tables with couches inside...
A great spot to impress friends or a date or just sit watch the city melt by...
Drinks are great and there's a good range of bar snacks too... highly recommended!!
A. G.
Really lovely views of the city, warm and friendly service and a really lovely afternoon tea - you get a good amount, the quality is good and you will definitely leave there feeling full
A. R.
Nice place good views not the cheapest but that is not why you would visit this venue anyway.
S. J.
Very slow service. Told we had 1.5 hours but it took half an hour for someone to come take our order. Then I was told we were lucky that they weren't busy so we had out table longer!! Overall though it was lovely and I had a good evening
l. m.
Great food. Lovely views. Good service.
Will definitely visit again.
A. S. (.
The views, of course... amazing! Drinks were okay. Food was massively overpriced for the quality, £25 for a full English breakfast - have had a better one at Wetherspoons! I'd return, but definitely not for food.
N. H.
Great views, very polite and pleasant staff. Will be back.
C. G.
The view is stunning, and really this is what it's all about. We made the mistake of eating there. Food was overpriced and mediocre at best. Eat before you go, have a few drinks enjoy the ambience and admire the view! You do need to book.
T. A.
Lovely ambience, really busy. The pina colada is amazing. They would have gotten a 5 star if they had more vegan options ( the plant based delicacies were about 2 or 3 on the menu). My friends enjoyed the seafood platter though.
R. A.
Its a nice place to visit however I still do feel that the food is lacking and I think there are better Roof tops to go to.
I think sushi samba or Madison's have a better vibe for example and the bouncers on the front make this ominous if you are going just for drinks.
I wasn't feeling like having meat or fish so I opted for a vegetarian salad and it was not that great the salad was not fresh or crispy and the broccoli was a bit soggy. I'm leaving an extra star as that day we went the entire roof terrace was booked out for a private event. However the staff were accommodating in ensuring that we had an outside table for our drinks so we were appreciative of that. The DJ girl was cool and the music was deep house loungey and the ambiance and atmosphere was actually quite good, with nice people enjoying the vibe. Recommended to try one time for sure.
O. G.
Delicious cocktails, but no seating outside on the terrace/sofas if you're on your own or with a friend, which is a shame. Otherwise lovely drinks and service.
A.
Came for drinks on Saturday afternoon. This place is very popular and bookings are recommended. The front of house found is 2 seats at the bar. The vibe was electronic house with a dj spinning tunes. Cocktails were nice, price to be expected for venue £15/16 per cocktail. The only issue for us was that considering the time of the day we had to shout a bit to talk to each other. I would expect that later at night but not at 3pm.
G. G.
What an amazing experience! I cannot rave enough about this place.
The setting, the staff, wow, if you have not been - you need to get a date in the diary people!
Big shout out to Jurriaan, Luis and the team for superb service.
See you soon.
V. M.
I was a bit worried about visiting due to the reviews on poor customer service but our servers were nice and attentive. We didn't have the greatest view but actually we were seated closer to the heater so that was a bonus in hindsight. Food/drinks were a bit overpriced but I guess you're paying for the view
R. N.
Go here if you want great views; it's on the 10th floor. The best views are of South London--the Shard and a few other tall buildings. There is nothing much to see to the north or west from that point. The best view nearest to the building is of the river, Waterloo Bridge and Somerset House. If you are seated outside, open to the air, you can soak in the expanse of London from that position. If you are booking seating on the outside, ask for the south side for the best views and photo opportunity--assuming the sun is shining on the day.
We were a party of 20. They wanted a minimum spend of £40 per person. The menu available on a Sunday at 3pm was brunch. The cheapest item was £16. The cost of materials and labour for that would be about £1.25. So you pay the rest for service, location and views. Service was slow, but they were busy. Sometimes we had to remind them to get our order done.
We were asked to bring IDs but none was asked when we got there. The interior is all black. It's easy to get confused. The toilets are also black with dim lighting; I was disoriented for a moment. I suspect others were too, as people before me appear not to have aimed their streams at the right place.
A. B.
One of my favourite rooftop, perfect for work, after work, drink or lunch...
cozy place 💯
D. S.
Great atmosphere. Great food and drink. Geart service. Great views over London.
Excellent place for a couple or a group to have an evening out.
T. T.
A brilliant venue with a marvellous view of central London!
E. A.
Great views and typically very good cocktails. Expect London prices over £12 for a cocktail and service charge. There is a price for being above ground in London.
J. O.
View and restaurant are amazing!
service and food is meh! Good for drinks
A. R.
Nice place once you get in but the 1 hour queue would put me off returning. Also half of the terrace was closed off which was unfortunately the side with the best views.
R. P.
Great food and views. Hosted many company events here.
M. T.
Good experience on the top of this bar, staff was friendly, drinks took a bit longer than I would like but still acceptable and the view was great. Unfortunately the best portion is closed after 22 hs during weekdays and 24 hs, weekends, so I will definitely revisit them to check that out.
T. K.
Great view and location on the pricey side
J. K.
Pricey for the quality of cocktails but that's on account of the realestate (really a fabulous london skyline view).
Good overall.
J. J.
VIEW AMAZING COCKTAILS PLUS VAT PLUS SERVICE CHARGE 4 1 DRINK COSTED 20 POUND
V. G.
Great location for a date
M. K.
View was nice but a party was going on and we couldn't sit outside even though had booked an outdoor table!
S. A.
Good view on a nice day. Food and cocktails were disappointing and not worth the money.
Staff were nice but service was slow even though there was a time limit on the table.
P. C.
Had a lovely time celebrating my 30th Birthday...The staff were great - Jaskirat was very welcoming and hospitable!
p.
Great view, okay food & service. Had lunch which was okay but Price/quality is average.
R. l.
Staff are really good and present thank you
M. D. S. M. S.
Excellent service with a very nice staff plus a breathtaking view. It's the perfect place for a relaxing night after work or a romantic date
S. P.
Absolutely fantastic... views...staff...drinks....
Next time we will try the menu.
A. B.
Not sure if this place is worth the wait in the queue, however when you do get up there it's lovely. Good music, vibes and drinks.
J. M.
Excellent meal and the staff were lovely. I tried the baby back ribs which were awesome. I would highly recommend A++
G. E.
Good views. Roof terrace was tented when we went as the weather had been a bit iffy. Heated tent. A little warm in fact on our visit. Music a bit annoying...it was turned on half way through our midweek lunch Menu good if a little pricey. God vegetarian options. Must wear a mask when anywhere but your table. Booked through opentable. Paid by card. There are two doors and a one way system. Enter by the one on the corner (the hotel entrance) not the side door.
G. B.
Rowdy and overpriced, service slow and at times rude, with the exception of a really lovely waiter, I only wish I got his name. Style over substance I'm afraid, could be so, so much better.
D. K.
Nice view but the service could be improved
H. D.
Great interior design
Very posh place
Amazing service by my waiter Gabriel
Fascinating view from the terrace
If you havent been definitely a must visit place especially in the summer
Very reasonable prices nothing is out of the ordinary.
M. L.
Really nice. With terrace, also in the winter season.
J. M.
A montenegro from the sky. Lovely place. I generally do not like when staff ask you if everything is alright every two minutes, but the venue is so great then you Start to feel really comfortable.
M. L.
Nice and quiet rooftop, nice staff and good music...
I.
Nice food with a great view 💯 calm place to chill
M.
The day was warm and sunny which added to my positive experience of the place. We sat outside and enjoyed the nice view and the music. Service was really good and the waiter who served us was really nice and friendly! Food was very average. I was there for brunch and my avocado toast had nothing special to offer. For the price I would expect something more. I don’t know if lunch or dinner is better. It is over priced but you pay for the nice views and atmosphere rather than the food. I would go back as a love rooftops and its a nice one but I think its better for drinks than food!
J. W.
Outstanding service…great friendly staffs..

Very good service however cause we didnt get a second bottle of wine they kicked moved us inside too quick. It was a bit awkward.
M. N.
Beautiful views across London and the river and lovely atmosphere. Great cocktails too
J. O.
Brunch here was really lovely. I went with a friend after we discovered that there were nice views and the decor was worth seeing. Food was good. Nothing to complain about. I thought the staff were very professional. It appears more expensive than the food itself which I think is always a good thing. Great ambience. Can’t recall if we had a pianist in the background but I loved it.
H. M.
Not much of a view from inside. Must sit outside. 90min max on table but took 22mins to serve. Great edamame beans!
T. V.
Really nice cocktails, especially the Apple and Wood 😌 a bit sad we couldn't seat on a sofa outside with a nice view like I requested, but hopefully next time ! Keep up the good work guys, and special thanks to Monica, she has been really lovely and professional with us the whole time 😊

I had high hopes for Radio Rooftop, having heard glowing reviews. Sadly, the reality did not meet my expectations. Perhaps the COVID19 restrictions are to blame but I felt that the venue lacked atmosphere. The music was simply a playlist, with a harsh vibe. The drinks were just adequate. The staff were pleasant enough but seemed bored. The condition of the ladies lavatories was unacceptable, particularly when cleanliness is even more important, given the current climate. They were grubby, smelly and had no handwash. I didn't get the feeling of luxury, class and elegance that I had expected from this upscale bar. Disappointing. Hopefully things will change by next summer!

Lovely place, great views, fantastic atmosphere, the terrace is a bit packed together but you have a great time.
a. j.
Good chill out after a heavy meal...but not cheap!
R. P.
On our visit we found the staff pleasant and attentive, the drinks was well made (not too expensive) and the cigar list was a nice touch. We loved the views and the atmosphere was buzzing with the live DJ. This really is a great bar to visit if you’re going on to a show (great location), but do book, they get very busy at popular times. The hotel itself is also amazing, we didn’t stay on this occasion but would certainly like too next visit!
j. b.
Fabulous atmosphere- amazing views
A. B.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff!
M. M.
Have been here a few times and the last was for New Years Eve. It was an incredible place for fireworks from a rooftop and after a lot of hunting one of the only places that it was possible to see them.
Great entertainment, great drink, however we are vegetarian and so only had a couple of things from the canapés you’re choose from which was a little disappointing for upwards of £300 per ticket.
T. R.
loved it.Such a great vibe.Chilled staff who didnt have an issue with us being on the swing.Thank you for a complimentary glass for my birthday.
C. M.
Made reservation for dinner but table allocations complicated. first come first served for outside seating which was not adequate for dinner a low table. More for drinks only. Platters not very economical. Just get a main. Security doing a good job.
L. S.
Stopped by for a drink and nibbles. Amazing location with panoramic views London. Book to try and get the best seats which are on the edge however we arrived without booking and the staff were happy to help seat us. We requested to move to an outdoor seat if one became free and the staff were excellent at helping with this. The food is very good and there is a wide selection of drinks to choose from. Would definitely recommend a visit, but probably book beforehand.
M. R.
Went for a drink on a Thursday afternoon, didn't have a reservation and arrived about 1pm. Plenty of space available. Didn't eat any thing but people were eating at the food looked pretty good.
Didn't have an alcoholic drink although their cocktail menu looked appealing. We all had various fruit juices which were good and iced coffee, also good! Quite pricey but to be expected. Good views. indoor and outdoor seating available.
By the time we left (about 3pm it was starting to get busier so presumably it would be a good idea to book!)
S. F.
The place is beautiful. Very modern and taken care of.
The cocktails are a bit expensive.
The views are great, the staff and attention is very good.
S. W.
Great spot for drinks and to watch the sun set
H. H.
I took my mum there for some birthday cocktails after we had been for dinner.
They were a little expensive, and added service charge (£3.75) automatically for only a drink each. They should’ve given you the choice to add a tip, or adjusted it depending on how much service you receive.
However, you couldn’t fault the service or the quality of the drinks.
The cocktails shown in the photos were £15 each, so only for special occasions!
You get some brilliant views as well!
A. W.
Very modern and chic hotel in a great location.
The reception area was fab with dancing light projections on the walls and when we arrived we were greeted with glasses of bubbly which was a nice touch. The staff were very helpful and extremely welcoming so can't fault them at all.
As for the room itself, it was quite basic but the bed was comfortable and the view from our room was great. We found the 3 in-house themed restaurants fairly overpriced so we didn't actually dine-in and the rooftop bar was lovely but again both the drinks and the food were expensive. All in all, we enjoyed our stay here as a once off experience.
R. P.
Superb venue and location overlooking the south bank. Good service but quite pricey so don’t get carried away on the shots
d. h.
Brilliant location, reasonable prices for location.Good service
R. L.
Pretty average. Cocktails are £15 which I suppose is expected. Staff were not the friendliest, the waitress told me I had booked for afternoon tea after which I said no that's a mistake we just want some cocktails. She did not like that and insisted we should order food at least from the brunch menu to which I still denied. Views are not bad.
E. C.
Amazing place!
A big THANK YOU to Monica, who took care of us last night and went an extra mile to ensure we had a special night. She was definitely 100/10. Excellent service!!!
G. W.
Great venue, love the outdoor indoor vibe, only had drinks so can't comment on food.
Gents bathrooms were a tad dire but guessing because of patrons
M. H.
Great rooftop bar, with nice views, a bit over priced for what you get quality wise, cocktails are nice.
P. t.
The view was the highlight of our dining here, great seating. Food was decent, nothing special, quite pricey and the service charge is an eyebrow raiser.
A. S.
It makes you feel comfortable and energetic, just being there. The food is good too, didn't get an opportunity to try the drinks though.
M. F.
Nice views over the city. Didn't have a reservation but got a seat (inside). The cocktails were not so great, didn't feel like any alcohol in it, very watery. For that the price is too high. There is nicer rooftops in London.
M. P.
Great vibe as a roof top bar, with good views over London. Booking recommended if you want good seats, although we have eaten here before, today we only had drinks. It’s top end pricing and a couple of G&T’s will cost you £30 plus. Typical high priced and popular city venue.
A. B.
A few decent originals, though very sweet. Surprisingly good classics. Nice view south across the river takes in the national theatre. Very strict on table times, and packed with insta people.
A. B.
Anticlimactic experience. My husaband and i booked for our first anniversary dinner and they would not seat us anywhere remotely close to anywhere with a view. Food was overpriced and not very good and the restaurant had a strange smell. Service was below average as well.
M. M.
Great views and bar but very expensive ! The staff is very nice but clearly overbooked...we had to wait a lot of time just for 2 glasses of rose.
T. Ď.
Nice place, lovely drinks and food but I'd say a little bit overpriced for the overall experience. Unfortunately, I visited in the winter so couldn't fully enjoy the view.
J. G.
A fancy place in the middle of London. Of you have a good weather day, the view is amazing, especially in the sunset.
The food trying to be sophisticated, but it is really basic and nothing special.
The stuff are nice but the service is really slow. It is a nice place to visit once, but didn't leave me the will to come back again.
Enjoy.
E. W.
Wow, the atmosphere and ambience was super relaxed. The Stake was absolutely amazing and the overall vibe of the place was just sublime. Radio rooftop is definitely a must, cant wait to go back in the summer. Amazing
S. W.
Had a really wonderful time here. Very friendly staff, great cocktails and lovely food. Service was on the slower side but as it was a Sunday to be expected really (plus we got more time with the spectacular view). Would recommend for a wonderful evening and will be heading there again next time I get an excuse.
L. B.
Over priced drinks and slow service.
The view is nice but there are much better places to go locally!!!
K. L.
Came here on a Saturday afternoon for afternoon tea with some friends. Was strange to see the front door roped up and doorman was not very welcoming. We had to have photo IDs just for afternoon tea, it felt very invasive. Definitely a turn off. The greeting was marginally better when we got upstairs although the manager was fantastic (or at least I thought he was the manager as he was the only one who seemed on it). The food was ok, expensive for what it was but worth a stop for one drink to check out the view if you are a tourist.
M.
Such a nice bar and beautiful view! I went there with my friends and we had a lovely time! All staff were polite and very nice! Cocktails were amazing and delicious!
We will definitely go there again
J. G.
Still firm covid rules. Not my scene. Went there for dinner and tried to pie my off on a high top table
L. K.
The views from the rooftop were amazing and there was a good vibe in this trendy bar. However, the food was mediocre for the price of it and the drinks were expensive. The staff were lovely and made a fuss of my husband because it was his birthday so thank you.
B. B.
I contacted radio rooftop bar to make a dinner reservation for my birthday and I received a response informing that unfortunately because we were a party of 2 they couldn’t make a reservation, minimum 6 people, they also sad I could walk in but didn’t guarantee we would sit outside! That started a bit disappointing specially because it was my birthday!
We decided to go anyways, when we got there the hostess downstairs warned us there weren’t any tables outside and that we needed our ID, I explained I had a Spanish ID for EU citizens that didn’t have a photo, however I had a photo of my passport, she replied to me in a very sarcastic kinda way saying that was bizarre because she was Spanish and her ID had a photo. Well she is not a EU citizen with a Spanish ID so that was my second disappointment! I mean I think is so sad that hostess are meant to be those pretty ladies with an attitude, I am past the phase that this was acceptable and cool! Anyways we get upstairs we let a couple out the elevator and they are taken to a table outside either they had a reservation ( that I wasn’t allowed to make) or they had a table that didn’t exist! Anyways I am feeling a bit odd to have chosen this place when Greg comes in to save the day! Him and Jorge waited our table with impeccable service and in the end took us outside where there were plenty of space and took our pics! It is sad that all the girls had an arrogant attitude towards us! Everything was overpriced, but that is expected when you have that view the worse is overpriced associated with uneducated arrogant hostess.
C. J.
Unbeatable views and great atmosphere. Food is delicious
A. C.
I just love this place. If you are not used to snobby places, you are going to complain a lot about it; but if you want quality people around you.. it's the place to be. Lovely drinks, I love the service as well as the food. I go there for my team socials as well as during the weekend with my partner.. One word: Amazing!
A. W.
A very beautiful scenery.. food and overall experience was amazing. The service was great covid precautions were great and staff were friendly! Definitely coming back 😊
G. L.
Fantastic service, beautiful view. Lorenzo took excellent care of us, highly recommended. And Michael was great too.
E. C.
Wonderful place and lovely cocktails, our waiter Ricardo made our night by giving us a wonderful table outside! His service was excellent and we were well impressed, thank you Ricardo. Your team is lucky to have you!
C. G.
Wonderful views of the city, amazing drinks menu but a bit pricey. Worth it, though!
H.
TOO FATTY AND OVERSALTED dishes - I'd expect better food from that place. Prices typical for that sort of restaurant in London but I guess actually what you pay for is the location, def not the fine cuisine. Quite slow service. Worth to visit for the nice views, pleasant atmosphere, liked the decor.
P. T.
Perfect birthday evening
Awesome place Lorenzo and Michael are legit the best people to take care of you
Super professional, nice and funny everything you need to spend an awesome night
I highly recommend going there and asking for them
L. A.
Good views but service very slow. The table next to us arrived later, ordered and received steak and chips before our request for some olives was fulfilled. Everything takes an age to come out (if you're not dining, it seems). Shame as it has potential to be a great hidden gem.
j. m.
Excellent food excellent service. Will go again
K. S.
Went to the roof top bar for drinks before going to see a show. Beautiful setting with Magnificent views of London. Wonderful cocktails. Then went into STK Restaurant for a superb meal. Great service and staff. Fabulous evening !
J. R.
Great location with lots to do right outside the front door. Reception atrium is very cool (had projections of jelly fish swimming up when I checked out) and the rooftop bar is good. Balcony room facing the river was not large, but worked fine and had a good view.
t. f.
Fabulous place for food and drinks.
E. T.
Oh my, I am not a bar person but I am really impressed by this place. It was before Christmas and we booked a table for about 20 people and there was a minimum charge but we got over that quickly.
The weather was a tad cold but they had heating outside on the terrace and so the people who sat under the heat lamp was fine whilst the other ones had to down more alcohol to keep warm.
The decor is very classy, the view over London amazing, and the clientele are all very posh looking and looked like a lot of people were having a good night out.
Drinks were quite expensive as per usual. I had the cocktail called "Winter in Pink" and severely regretted it. It tasted a bit like medication. Otherwise, the boys ordered red wine, and also two tiny kegs of mulled wine which tasted really nice actually!
Food was decent, had calamare and some other bits and bobs and whilst not the best food, it fills the belly.
Conclusion: Good place to go to impress mates on a night out.
K. D.
Love it here! Great service and excellent selection of drinks!
k. h.
Such a pleasant find. The service is top class. Be prepared to pay. The food we had was very good. Such a lovely place with lots of views if you get an outside seat. Don't be afraid to ask to be moved to outside after your meal to finish your drinks. Geat place to meet with friends, family, colleagues or business acquaintances. the cocktail, gin and wine drink choices are superb. high ckass establishnent on the 10th floor of ME hotel on the steand. The hotel guests can drink after 11pm. No children after 5pm. £50 minimum per person after 5pm or 12pm on weekends and BH.
N. S.
Great views of London and the Thames and a great vibe at the bar. There is a separate area for diners. This is on the rooftop of a hotel, but don't hesitate going as the staff is very welcoming. I didn't have trouble getting a table without a booking and the prices where what you'd expect. Do make sure you bring some ID as they ask for it at the entrance.
I. W.
Good food and some friendly staff. Little bit pricey but you're also paying for the skybar surroundings. Would definitely return in the summer months to appreciate the outdoor eating and sites as well as the food
K. M.
Staff were great, professional but probably could be more personable (but I hazard they're told not to be?) - also very expensive, has a limited range of drink options (if you like lager or beer you're out of luck) which is a shame. The view however is brilliant and that's what you're paying for.
R. C.
A place to admire London from above, pampered by great service, and top notch atmosphere.
g. l.
New favourite spot! Amazing views of the city, fantastic food and perfect service. Grab breakfast there in the morning and come back for cocktails in the evening. Views for days (and nights) All round fabulous experience! Thank you 👌✨😎
C. I.
Great eve out! Breathtaking views of London and delicious food! We had mini burgers, olives, red snapper cevices calamari and tempura prawns...yum! And a special thank you goes to Michael for looking after us so well! We will definitely be coming back! Thank you!
S. T.
Just stopped at the rooftop bar briefly for a glass of wine. Really nice view of London so it was lovely to sit on the balcony with a couple of mates and drinks. It was cold but they had outdoor heaters and blankets so it was quite cosy. Staff were also very polite and attentive.
C. D.
We went to Radio on a Saturday afternoon and reserved a table. The cocktails were great, and priced as you would expect. The views from the balcony were fantastic and worth the prices of the drinks. All the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful.
W. A.
Drinks with a view - arrived at 6:30pm with two business visitors and we all loved it. Table for the three of us outside on the rail with great views, cocktails and trendy ambience. Well worth considering to impress business guests early evening, but you must pre-book. Will definitely return.
A.
Good vibe, great food. Music was alright but Ok. Staff were a bit slow but there was a security guard called Karl who helped us out with places to go and sights to see around London. I would recommend for a quick drink and dinner.
N. R.
Great location, great views. Slightly limited menu but aside from that great vibes
H. K.
There are beautiful views from here and the bar and waiting staff are lovely. The door staff are not so nice and you will have to wait in a queue to get in unless you have a reservation (minimum spend required for that). It's a bit expensive but probably the same as any 5 star hotel bar. They ramp up the music from around 5pm so don't go if you want a quiet chat!
V. B.
Been going for a while and still one of my favorite places. Food is great too if you want to go during the day. Great music. Lovely Setup. Nice Views. Only thing that has always annoyed me is how rude some of the staff members are but its something manage to ignore when i'm there.
All in all good place to go.
C. D.
Love this bar, really good atmosphere and great views of the London Skyline. Great place to go and have a catch up with friends or with a group from work.
Some of the staff are not always the most welcoming and they may not let you go up without a reservation. Cocktails are wonderful and are around £12. Food also available, such as tapas and snacks.
G. C.
Excellent service .All staff especially Jamal very attentive.
F.
I recommend this hotel, it really feels upscale and luxury!
Really nice looking hotel and really great service from the staff, everyone was always ready to help. The check-in experience was just fabulous. The design of this hotel on the outside doesn’t do justice on what’s inside, everything is wrapped around a pyramid that contains the check-in area and elevates all the way to the roof top. The room (regular room with a pull out bed) was not huge but well designed, it had RGB lights and Bluetooth audio. Nice complimentary Nespresso in the room! In the roof top bar you can get breakfast but it’s a-la-cart only, no buffet and the wait time can get long.
The location is just fabulous, just 5 minutes from Covent Garden.
I only had 2 downsides: the overall value, as the price seemed excessive for not having breakfast and a relatively small room. As a Gold Meliá Rewards member the breakfast staff seemed not to know about my status as well as the front desk assistant when asking for a complimentary late checkout.
B. A.
Attentive staff, good food and amazing views, what else can we ask for?! We had 2 toddlers (well behaved even if I say it so myself) with us and were a bit apprehensive but were gladly surprised on how warm everyone was! We felt welcomed and enjoyed our brunch throughout! Can't stop thinking about their crispy polenta ever since 😋😋😋😋😋
B. V.
Top view, slowish service and very pricey.
林. L.
Very nice experience be there at ME London. Special hotel reception lobby with designer long sofa for guests & sunlight from the rooftop. I thought I was walking into a pyramid. I was stay in a 3 person room with my son & my personal assistant. It’s a very clean tidy room, toilet & shower room are separated, very convenient for 3 of us. There’s a beautiful place for breakfast at the rooftop, very nice view. The theatre of Mamamia & Lion King just opposite to the hotel. We could back to hotel on foot after watching show. There’s a bar at the ground floor. Many people wearing nice fashion will gather at the lobby of hotel every night. Candle light & pleasant smell everywhere!
K. S.
The drinks n food was nice but service was slow
J. C.
I stayed here with my partner for his 30th birthday and it really was a great experience. Thank you to all the staff who made it so lovely. Champagne and cheesecake arranged waiting for us in the room upon our return from dinner and visit to the rooftop bar☺️ special touches really made it! Thanks again , especially to Edward on check in. x
R. G.
Lovely view of the river, my favourite part. Food was great, tapa was, very tasty. Seating was great, comfortable plus the view, perfect.
K. A.
Lovely vibe amd setting. Food was okay except the calamari which was soggy and tasted like it was fried in very old oil. Cocktail were very good especially the Me breeze, for a brand owned by the Melia group , I feel alot more attention should be given to the food served.
P. C.
Fantastic roof top bar with great service and lovely views
G. J.
Had a fabulous time for my birthday. Was wowed as my birthday was a rainy day and we were scared it was going to be freezing and window but was impressed they shut the roof top off.
Only downside was this electric music was so loud we could barely hear ourselves speak.
E. B.
This should be a great experience -- great view, delicious cocktails etc etc. However, the pretentious nature of this place ruined it for me.
The security guard had a real go at another customer at the door because he dared to touch the restraining ropes (there was no one on the door, so it was not clear what to do, and the security guy then appeared and proceeded to be incredibly rude).
Once you've got past that there are only 2 more security ppl that you have to get through to prove you're cool enough to drink here. Finally you can be rewarded by waiting 15 minutes for a drink when it wasn't busy, while staff spend time fluffing pillows rather than making drinks. That said the drinks were great, and the view is amazing.
R. K.
We had never heard of the ME line of hotels but came across the London one booking thru Hotwire. The front desk gave us a great pitch to make sure we would check out the rooftop bar. The service was very good and the staff made us feel a little more VIP since we were guests of the hotel. The other patrons were all very well dressed, confirming our guess that this isn't too much of a casual place. But the views are totally worth getting dressed up. There are lots of couches, chairs, and tables on the wrap around patio. The staff provided very nice heavy blankets when the temperature began to drop. Even if we do not stay at the ME London next time we will definitely look to go back to the rooftop bar during our next visit.
r. a.
expensive and not good view but really good tropical punch coocktel and delicious salmon wafle
R.
I loved Radio when it opened. The views alone make it worth the trip up - however, when it gets sunny you better book in advance. The issue is that when they get busy, unless you are spending large amounts, they treat you like second rate citizens. There are nicer bars where the service is not dictated by your bill.
M. I.
Lovely ambience in this place and some pretty decent views from the roof terrace. The drinks are good and the food is also good here. Great place to bring a date or even go out with a group of friends.
T. S.
Made a late decision to eat here before a matinee performance at the Aldwych Theatre just round the corner, tried telephone booking and after ages on hold left a message but never got called back. Manage to book via toptable. We choose to sit outside but asked to move inside because of smokers at nearby tables, a common problem with alfresco seating! It too a while for our order to be taken along with drinks order and we waited a long time for drinks. In the end they arrived and we made the point that we needed to be served rrasknse quickly to get to matinee. We were not charged for the wine. The 4 small plates arrived soon after and they were all delicious and beautifully presented.
We are asked a few times if all was ok with the food, enough to show an interest and not too much to be intrusive.
The Bill came quickly when requested and the wine was taken off. Service charges were added to the bill.
So the food was good, service a little slow but this was recognised and compensated.
I would go again and would recommend this bar certainly for cocktails for light meal.
T.
W.
Absolutely love this place, the view over the Thames is spectacular. It has such a cool trendy vibe about it with very helpful staff who are so friendly and chatty. The food was also very good.
A. A.
Great views from this place, went there for breakfast and it was great, they kinda forgot our toast but then they brought it and made up for it, overall I would recommend. I hear happy hour is great there too or a late drink.
A. R.
The music was enjoyable and the drinks were good as well. There is a price to pay to be on a rooftop in London. Had to turn in a credit card as a payment security. Glasses of wine started from £10.
A. L.
Great cocktails, but unfortunately only a table inside.
l. c.
Just had Gin and Tonics, nice friendly service with the obvious great view..
D. M.
Great rooftop bar but 2 stars removed for outrageous pricing (a bottle of Corona was over £6!)and they had service charge on all drinks made which took much longer than should of due to the price. They weirdly also poured out the Corona into a disposable cup instead of giving the bottle which was odd as it was the middle of the day.
P. O.
My fiancé and I came to radio rooftop to celebrate right after getting engaged. The staff were very professional and even had a bottle of champagne ready at our table. A special thanks to Samantha who helped coordinate with me before the day and even showed me around the restaurant so that I could pick the perfect table. Thank you!!
J. W.
Would get 5 stars for the view. But not really the place for a quiet drink. Door policy a bit stiff. And slightly potentious. Don't let that put you off. Definitely worth a visit. Views are great. Better than duck and waffle.
A. T.
The bar is beautiful. Atmosphere, music and view are amazing. The food is not the best ive ever had nor the worst. Prawn skewers are pretty good and so are the sliders. Fennel salad and pimentos are basic and not so good.
Would go back for pre/ post dinner drinks and hangout
A. L.
Nice for a drink. Crispy squid was lovely too!
E. C.
We chose this bar to sneak a good view of the fireworks on the river. Friday night - great atmosphere - good DJ - fantastic cocktails and inevitably a perfect view.
Careful: expect to pay £14+ for a cocktail, a we-don't-serve-prosecco type of place. We received a little look up and down on the door so don't arrive wearing your tatty converse.
S. F.
Great location for drinks and stunning views.
J. H.
Great food and service. Shame about the terrible cheesy music. Abba?!
A. M.
Beautiful views of the city overlooking river and street. Great place to watch the sunset.
E. D.
They gave us a cake as it was my boyfriends birthday which was a lovely surprise. However the one thing that spoilt it a bit is that they closed at 9.30 when the website said 10
C. R.
Perfect to drink with a Beautiful view
L. F.
Great location and views. Clientele a little too 'try hard'. Lots of people more concerned with catching the right selfie to promote themselves rather than just enjoying the London skyline in all its splendour!
M. B.
Loved that place. Wonderful view. Great coctails, good wine options, delicious snacks. Great service
D. A.
Chilled atmosphere, the cocktails were made very well in comparison to other bars I've been to around London. We were sorted right away in the outside area where we enjoyed our view of London.
N. D. R.
Loved everything about this restaurant and bar..
D. P.
Nice views (Day time only), good food (pricey and not much in size), attentive and a lovely balcony which unfortunately closes at 9pm-10pm. I particularly do not like the queuing part where they keep you even though the bar is empty and just want to show that this is a popular place. worth a visit.
K. N.
Nice rooftop terrace and views; we went on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Everything went well except charging a Pimms Jug at £86 is a total rip off. It's not even in the menu drinks so it came as a total surprise (and joke!).
All the other prices were what you would expect (brunch and cocktails), just the above was extreme...so watch out for the Pimms Jug!
Staff OK, not very quick, not very friendly, arrogant and pretentious...like the place
H. O.
Went there to celebrate the England win which was nice. Very good atmosphere and very nice views across London. Wide variety of drinks and food available. The hotel below is lovely to boot
J. R.
Great venue for drinks. The Radio Bar has an attractive roof terrace that offers superb views of the best part of the River Thames.
Well worth a visit as the downstairs steak restaurant is also superb and often has great deals on.
A thoroughly modern, chic and handsome venue that’s just as popular with the in-the-know London crowd as well as the more urbane type of visitor.
R. G.
This bar is really nice and is very cool, you have great views of London and its fairly upmarket. Some of the waiters were wearing sunglasses. Only one thing there is this snotty nosed hostess who seems to think she is a Bouncer of some sort. Dont let her put you off just tell her your going to the bar, "why"...? because that's what people do you idiot, if your there before 5pm its not big deal. If you plan on going later possibly get your name on the "list". Great venue overall
c. c.
Great place, pricy cocktails but worth it , and what a view
L. N.
Lovely view and really good size portions for the price was very impressed. Would definitely recommend.
L. L.
One of my favourite rooftop bars in London. Been many times, and it never disappoints. With a view over Somerset House, and large comfy round 'bed' chairs, and blankets, it is great for any time of the year.
The inside area has a dj that plays a good mix of beat, but so that you can still talk to the people you are with.
It also has a good door policy, in that it is not too snobby but not too relaxed as well, making for a good mix of people!
J. p.
3 stars is for the decor and surroundings. Really nice interior and exterior with the roof top balcony. Great as today was very sunny.
However waited a while to be served at the table for our first drink, then when the waitress came I asked her what beers or lager do you have ? She replied with ones from Spain ones from Mexico and a cider. I asked for the names of them and she replied ' I'm a girl ( laughed ) we don't know anything about beers'
This was confusing as she was the waitress of the main section of an expensive london bar.
I went to the bar myself and they told me to take a seat but I explained our waitress didn't know the beers. Turns out it was a Corona from mexico.
One beer and one white wine £23 (with service charge)
B. M.
Gorgeous espresso martini. And a nice view while you drink it!!
R. S.
It is definitely worth visiting this place for the views alone. On a sunny day it's exceptional but I would recommend booking in advance and arriving early. Door staff were not friendly, however the bar staff were very friendly and the drinks were expensive but great!

Came here during a warm, clear, but busy Saturday evening in August. There was about a 15 minute queue, but eventually myself and 2 guests headed up to the rooftop bar. Definitely a place to dress up for. Once we'd ordered our sharply presented cocktails we headed outside looking for a spot to sit. A lot of seats were vacant, but frustratingly reserved. However we got lucky sitting with another small group and the views were incredible. Not only are there breathtaking views along Southbank and down to the Shard and Tower Bridge, but also of Somerset House across the street (made even better as Basement Jaxx were playing live). Definitely worth checking out.

Great experience and worth going if you're only going to London once. Very expensive drinks and lots of very drunk women who detracted from the experience for us.
Not something I would happily do again but a good once off.

Very slow service. Great place and views
Good drinks when they came but staff here need a lot more training

1) Make sure you make a reservation if you want to head to this place
2) The view is absolutely stunning indeed, but only from one side of the terrace. When you are on the wrong side, the view is just ugly.
3) Place looks less fancy in reality than on pictures, but it still is pleasant place to be.

I love this place, friendly and polite staff, beautiful view, delicious food. NHS COVID-19 app needed to come in.

An elegant rooftop bar in a perfect location overlooking the Thames with great views of the city skyline. You can choose sit inside or out on the terrace. Expect queues on weekends when its busy and its one in one out policy due to the venue's small size. The music is decent too

Incredible cocktails, definatly opt for the "by the fire " cocktail, I hate whisky but this makes it irresistible!

5 stars all across!
Yes, it’s another hip design hotel with perhaps too much of an emphasis on the hip and cool factor but the amazing staff who deliver an unparalleled customer experience sets it above the others. Rooms are large for London standards and the rooftop restaurant (which also caters to a slightly uncool tourist crowd in the evening despite its best efforts to cater to the opposite) offers amazing views and a modern twist on Spanish cuisine. This being a Meliá, a Spanish brand, most of the front of the house staff is Spanish and offer excellent customer service. Meliá has done an excellent job in assuring it’s customer facing staff is well trained and spare no attention to detail. Highly recommended on all aspects; design, service, rooms, food and drink selection but the staff are what make this property stand out from the rest in its class.

Fantastic service by Diego tonight. Very enjoyable time. A bit pricey, but amazing views, great food, drink prepared just as asked... security and other staff keep this place fresh and safe.

Modern hotel in a great part of town, right on the edge of Covent Garden. The corridors and rooms are all quite dark, moody and angular, but done in a nice way. The terrace on Radio Rooftop Bar is the absolute highlight (although open to the public, accessible via a separate lift)

The reception level has to be one of the most impressive architectural spaces I have seen in years! A lean tall pyramid of at least 8 floors with a spartan but supercomfortable sofas and decor and with an amazing lighting system that reflects on the walls sea creatures and cosmic lights, i absolutely loved it! And Pierre at the reception was fast, sleek and handsome! A huge bouquet of fresh orchids seals this fantastic space. And I haven't started to talk about the rooms which are totally modern and elegant as well as homy! Sheets are white and soft and the views over the city so great!
I loved Ricardo at the Radio rooftop, who took care of us, brought us fantastic cocktails and never forgot what we liked! The radio rooftop bar is on its own right a big reason to stay here, we loved the djs and the cool atmosphere, we will be back!

Food and views amazing. Service very confused! Didn't take our order correctly, and we had to ask to order drinks. Staff were friendly just very disorganized and poor communication.

Stayed at the ME London. Came to the roof top several times. Awesome place. Bar tenders were great, and the manager Antoine (the French one) unbelievable making sure we were happy.

Ideally situated on The Strand, the ME London provides ample rooms with modern interiors and lighting. The rooftop bar is a scene, offering light dinning and spectacular views of the city and South Bank. Staff is highly attentive.

Not cheap but affordable for the fancy experience. I almost felt famous being up there and how you are treated. The staff are very skilled and I think they are selected on their looks ;-) you might have to book a table though. I got lucky and there was a spot left without a reservation.

The view is worth the trip. Food is good, I had a salad, which was fresh, and a black coffee which was decent. Will go again
