Reviews of Rainforest Cafe
T. D.
Unique experience in a good way. Amazing chicken strips and cheezy garlic bread - the best I've ever had! Quite pricey, but that's expected for such a place and London in general. Some staff members were polite and welcoming, others not so much. All together would recommend for the experience. Note: Loud sound effects and has strobe lights! Note2: Main portions are huge! Did not leave any room for a desert.
Reasons for not giving 5 stars:
*Hard to get any staff members attention,
*Ordered shrimp, never got it, even though one of the staff members bigged it up for how good it was,
*We were asked if we want a drink with or without ice and still got it with ice,
*Some of the food was slightly undercooked

The setting is really good and great for kids there are moving animals throughout the restaurant and really fun for the kids. BUT.......... the food is a very low quality and more along the lines of a hungry horse if anyone remembers that ! And I think that is a bit harsh on hungry horse as the kids mac and cheese was dire and I suspect came from a packet!
The service seemed ok but our waitress was a bit cold but that could be due to listening to animal noises 24 seven. Other staff were friendly and a giant elephant entertainer came round and posed for photos. Overall I would recommend giving this place a visit for the atmosphere and the experience for kiddies but don't go if your expecting a high quality meal.

Got lucky we got a table on the day within a half an hour wait. The atmosphere is lovely and the kids loved the rainforest sound effects. There were meet and greets from characters which the kids loved. They even pose for pictures which is great.
Bar service was so slow, took 30mins to order a drink, by which time we were seated. Food was delicious though. We ordered the garlic bread with cheese to share, Aztec chicken and the lamb shank. However, the lamb shank was just too meat smelling for me and the plum sauce would have been better paired if slightly on the sweeter side. The kids pizzas were lovely and were order as part of a set deal for £16.90, where you get a main, side, dessert and a drink, as well as a activity pack. The service definitely let our experience down. Both at the bar and at the table. Kids got their food first with the shared starter but we had to wait another 40mins for our mains to appear. Had to chase for our mains many times and chase for the kids activities, bought as part of their meals and also chase their desserts. Service could have been much better.

Visiting London for the weekend and wanted something a little different one night and so we booked the rainforest cafe and it was great! Upon being seated you are greeted by many different types of wild animals and all the sounds of the rain forest. It was very immersive. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good but prices were a little high in relation to the amount of food served. The only time this didn’t relate was when it came to desert. The desert was advertised as serving 2 people, but it could easily feed 3 to 4 people. Overall I’m glad we had a chance to come here and would recommend it to others. Although if you don’t want children running around then I would avoid on weekends and during half term.

We had plan to come here when deciding on what kiddy friendly restaurant to take children to. Upon reading the reviews, I was a bit skeptical but kept an open mind and went ahead anyway. Upon arrival, the shop was much smaller than I thought. There were a range of soft toys and other products from around £5 to around £179. I think the quality of the toys were good but a lot were a bit on the expensive side.
We were very early so was asked to either sit and wait or wander around the shop and come back. After heading back, we waited maybe 10 minutes and was seated at our table. The atmosphere was good and decor and sound effects was almost like being in the rainforest. Orders were taken in a timely manner and food and drinks arrived not long after. Had the vegan burger and it was generally ok and the chocolate cake was nice not as rich as it looked which is ok for me. A little pricey for what it is though. Kids meals are a good portion too.
On this visit, tables and floors were clean, saw staff actively cleaning as well. The toilets were fairly clean, didn’t see a cleaning schedule but if customers didn’t leave the toilets in a right state in between, these problems would be less. No restaurant has a permanent attendant waiting to clean up after everyone using the toilet, so leave it how you would like it is all I have to say on that as its one of the biggest complaints on other reviews.
Overall, service was great and they interacted well with our kids and they loved all the life like animals on display which move around and make noise. Was not very busy either so would go back again around the same time especially after bank holidays.
L. M.
Food was amazing! Very impressed with Aztec chicken, husband had lamb shank. Both of us loved the quality of food and service from our waitress....especially as they seemed very busy!
A lively place, great atmosphere and will definitely go again

I am completely torn!
I went here as a child and remember being absolutely amazed. That said, I wanted to take my nephew. It wasn't what I remember. But I can imagine from a child's perspective, it is still amazing. It is decorated all over, even the ceiling is foliage. Every now and then a storm will pass and lightning breaks through said foliage. There are mechanical animals situated around the restaurant that make noises and move. It is a whole experience rather than a restaurant. Being why I am so torn. Our server was amazing! And if I'm honest deserves more than working serving tables. I mean they may enjoy it. They certainly looked like they did!! Which was all the more enjoyable.
To start their service is absolutely amazing!
Things in the restaurant itself have gone amiss. Our table was unstable which I bodged to stay still. And the food I thought was not edible! However, my nephew loved it! And ate his meal.
If you have children and are looking for a themed restaurant I would definitely recommend it. Definitely wouldn't go back myself, but he does. So I guess I may just eat beforehand and graze on some chips whilst they eat.
H. A.
Cafe is unusual decor, it’s cafe and shop, it’s good, but too much sounds, when I go with my kids it’s was middle of the week and I take appointment, but we waited for 55 minutes to get our order. It’s too much waiting for kids!
Price is high for the quality of food.
Staff are friendly.
J. f.
I have wanted to visit here for a few years now but money and getting a reservation always got in the way. This is definitely a family friendly restaurant/cafe intriguing for kids. There isn't really a lot of choice from the set kids menu but the portions are quite big. Depending on if you have big eaters or fussy eaters 1 kids meal is big enough for 2. Adult meals are average size but overpriced of course. I had a pulled pork burger which was filling and delicious. Kids meals came out first so they don't wait too long. We are glad we visited, but only as a one off.
A. R.
This place Is super fun a cool. Best place to go for little ones but if they don't like loud noise then try not to bring them. There are lots of animals such like gorilla's, fish, butterflies and tigers. Every half hour there is a thunder storm where All the lights go dim and thunder noise come on.
M. S.
Having read the reviews, I didn't expect much but we were very pleasantly surprised. You do not expect fine dining but the food was well cooked, hot and tasty. It was served about ten minutes after ordering which is as I would expect from the menu choices. The Manager had to take our order as one of the children has food allergies which is a positive too. Yes the food is pricey but central London is, you expect it. The children loved the whole experience as did we. The surroundings were fun and staff were great.
O. D.
Lovely day out with the kids (2-8)yrs old. Rainforest environment was really magical, the talking tree, the thunder storm effect was brilliant, the Elephants etc. Kids really loved it, we booked in advance, but still waited about 30minutes before we got a table, we sat for another 30minutes before we could order. But when we eventually ordered , the food came really quickly, and was yummy.
If you intend to visit with kids, be prepared to wait, or if visiting without kids, maybe go during the week, avoid peak times like school holiday periods and weekends.
Overall lovely experience, and will recommend
S. R.
Restaurant is in a good location handy for the theatre. Nice atmosphere for kids with random animal noises and movement from the animals while eating. Quite unorganised when we arrived at our booked time slot. Large group of people waiting to get seated which there were quite a few empty tables so not sure why we had to wait. Waited around 15 mins to be seated.
Drinks didn't arrive until after the food which I had to remind the waitress about and also she forgot the sauce which I had to ask twice for.
Food was pretty good can't complain about it but the price was expensive and a service charge was added on which I wasn't aware about until I paid. Meal was for one adult and one child with a main meal drink and desert which came to nearly £50.
M. M.
Interesting place, rainforest decorations and sounds. Food is quite tasty, short menu, not expensive but not cheap.
Children will be really happy.
Please, change the music for sounds of nature. Pop music is horrible there.
P. B.
nice and unusual decor. it’s great fun for kids. but food was over priced and far too bland and tasteless. slow service even though it wasn’t busy. BUFFALO WINGS
Glazed spicy wings 10.95 🙄
A. A.
The venue is very atmospheric, you feel like you are really in the rainforest! The sounds, lighting, and scenery are immaculate.
The service was very quick and efficient and the staff were friendly and our waiter was lovely.
Food was amazing. Very yummy! And I was very impressed with the vegan burger as it was very good quality.
Will be wanting to go again!
L. D.
Now very dated and tired, not sure it's been updated in the almost 25 years it's been open.
Food was very good, staff were friendly.
Would still be magical for 6 year olds and under.
B.
Great fun for children, even of adult age. A plethora of furry critters and some void of fur but in ownership of voice – such as Tracy Tree, and, a few unnamed creatures hiding in the fake foliage which runs amok around the shop. Not to be left out of the limelight, the café downstairs (or by lift) houses elephants with swinging trunks. Stools at the grossly expensive bar, are animal themed too. We didn’t have a drink here as they wanted nearly £6 for a J2O soft drink! It’s not as if it is a classy bar. Far from it. But fun, if a little tacky.
The shop makes a visit worth putting on you London To Do list.
S. A.
Great experience and a lot of fun especially with the animals and decor, this is my second time visiting and I loved it. Wish they offered a vegetarian or healthy option on the kids menu. Staff were attentive and polite, but it seems the restaurant could be managed a bit better (waited a while for seating, along with half a dozen other families) despite pre-booking. And it took some time to get their attention once seated.
N. Y.
Cool place for the kids, was a little crowded waiting to be seated however once seated food was pretty quick coming out
a. v.
Food was very nice, obviously you pay for the experience/surroundings which is overly priced regardless.
Service was pretty good. Just strikes me as a place aimed at tourists willing to pay over the odds.
Good for a special occasion for young children if your pockets are deep.
M. H.
We took our two young grandchildren here and had the best time ever, they loved it and still talking about it after many weeks. The staff were superb and we could have not asked for more and fairly easy on the wallet as well.
A. K.
I didn't eat in the cafe on this visit, but upon visiting the gift shop, it's been stripped back a lot. Absolutely zero t-shirts or anything for adults, although I did find a nice cap hat with the logo (& city name) on.
I really wish the Rainforest Cafe was more like the USA where their merchandise is far greater and more varied.
O. M.
A little disappointed that i was sat in a corner away from all the robots animals. Also was served food with no knives and forks, nachos mince was tasteless. huge children meals. Garlic bread made me gag.
A. R.
I visited for lunch with my 5 year old son. We’d had a pretty bad morning so wasn’t in the best of moods but the guy who was at the check in desk and who showed us to our table was so lovely and friendly and chatty to my son that it really cheered him up. The food was fine, my son had the kid’s chicken bites and I had a burger. It’s obviously the decor you’re paying for and it is a really fun place to eat. Our waitress and all the staff were really friendly and helpful and made the whole experience a positive one.

This is an amazing restaurant and cafe for families, it's an experience that you do not want to miss, if you like jungle animals and that jungle environment then this is the place for you.
I went there with my friend and our two sons, unfortunately the order was over an hour late, upon complaining the Manager brought the food immediately and compensated us by letting us have the meals free. Fantastic customer service from the Manager and from all the service staff in general.
A great place with great ambience and fantastic food, we will return again. Many thanks
A. B.
We've been before, but this visit was special as we brought our daughter for the first time. We all noticed how happy and cheerful the staff were - everyone git hugs as they arrived on shift, and the bonhomie was infectious! A lovely lunch to kick start our afternoon in London. 🥰😍🤩
D. T.
Visited pre-Christmas '21 with the family. Fun theme but shame about the food. Very pricey, even for London, for not very good quality. Our service was fine as we arrived prior to the main lunch rush. If you still want to experience the cafe with the kids, perhaps eat elsewhere first and drop by for a drink/dessert. More details of our visit on our blog, ABC Dad.
I. N.
I'd rate this place zero stars if it wasn't for Ellie - One of the women that worked there provided exceptional customer service. She was Friendly and helpful and the kids enjoyed her bubbly character however the food was terrible and had absolutely no taste so it all went to waste.
S. “.
Nice treat for the kids and we all enjoyed the food, but quite expensive. We had a booking but still waited over 20mins for a table. The staff were very friendly and fast to help. Would recommend for the family.
T. H.
Lovely food and a great experience. our waiter was really lovely. Obviously it costs a fair bit, but it's the centre of tourist London! We went 2 days before Christmas and still got served promptly and with a friendly manner at all times, despite how busy they were.
M. h.
Great for kids. Brilliant that they have added the vegan burger as an option. Food is simple and straightforward so don't expect much there. But as it's for kids.... It isn't necessary to be that great. Pizzas look good and did taste good though.
The atmosphere works, staff are always busy and responsive to table inquiries and the flow of service does well. Entertainer comes round and the thunder storm is a great touch.
A fun quick lunch if you're visiting London.

It was my daughter's birthday and we have been trying to get a table in various Rainforest Cafes around the world for quite some time! Finally made it. She did enjoy it, but honestly it plays on the kids love of animals too much. Food is very very average and even more overpriced. Service was very good with a birthday song for her but we could have had more, better food elsewhere for less cost. A nice one off but we won't repeat.
V. C.
Superb! Loved it we did a special dinner for out baby turning 1 service was great very child friendly and the staff sang her a special birthday song which was a lovely touch. We got some amazing pics and videos for our memories
L. K.
I have been here couple of times over the past few years always when kids are with me. it's great for children and they enjoyed the food but the adults food was not up to par at all. It's really expensive. The staff were friendly but the service was very slow and the place was empty so no excuse. Maybe 15 or so people there due to covid. We did not prebook as there was no need. The furry toys in the shop are very overpriced.
B. H.
Staff could have been more friendly. Our waitress was lovely but I noticed others being shown more of the surroundings, when we were just shown to our table (near the entrance). Better atmosphere at tables situated more inside.
Friendly Cha-Cha took time to take photos with young family. Quick service, and good food.
F. S.
This place is amazing. Very unique and amazing decor but service in restaurant was poor. My child got her food but they forgot her drink. Then they forgot our dessert, sugar for coffee. We had to keep asking. They also had a lady doing face painting which was cool for the kids. Giving it 3 stars because of their poor service and the shop is very very expensive. Bought a soft toy red panda for £17.99. But my 4 year old was a happy girl.
K. W.
This is the reason I come to London. Friendly staff, fabulous food and amazing atmosphere!
P. E.
Great place enjoyed the place and the food. Worth visiting, when in town, if you have young children
T. C.
Magical experience for children. Jungle theme amazing, with cave style rooms downstairs. Food ok, nothing special, would describe as standard pub chain but not bad. London prices. Staff very friendly helpful and drinks range at bar quite varied. Upstairs at entrance there is a jungle shop with plush toys and souvenir type gifts. 2mins walk from Leicester Square.
M. Ż.
Lovely place, but food average and not enough staff. Two mistakes made with our order and had to wait long time to get them "corrected". Also waited long for the waitress when we wanted to pay.
S. S.
This is the second time we've visited (Dec 2019 and Dec 2021) and I think the quality of food has dropped massively and the price increased way above inflation
The tables are very close together (covid safe? No way) and the quality of crockery and glasses poor. The soft drinks tasted cheap and for 2 adults and 2 kids our meal came to £125.
I expected better.
The shop was expensive too. A small stuffed giraffe £27.99
I don't think we'll go back.
N. S.
Food was great.
Service - excellent .
Celebrated 10th birthday, the manager ensured it was extra special for the birthday girl.
We are very grateful.
Will definitely go there again
S. R.
The service was very slow but we went on a saturday so its to be expected. The food is mediocre and extremely overpriced but the experience is great and kids love it so it is very much worth a visit as you go for the experience rather than the food, All the staff are extremely polite and helpful, as my child grows I'm sure we will visit alot. When I was a child it was my favorite place to eat so would recommend to anyone with animal loving children
k. s.
First time visiting this restaurant with a group of friends. Our waitress doing a good 👍 job n always smiling. Foods were hot .keep it that way rather than others restaurants that were warm!
L. G.
While the food was good they didn't really cater for allergens, which is actually rare nowadays. The staff were mostly friendly but some were a little oblivious as to what was on the menu. For the prices they charge I was expecting better.
D. N.
I had read a lot of negative reviews, and had considered going elsewhere, but my daughter was having none of it as it is our traditional tea-time place when in London.
I didn't book, as I didn't know when we would be ready to leave what we were doing.
It was actually surprisingly busy, and as a "walk-in" we were given a wait estimate of 25 minutes. We were seated in fifteen.
Our waiter arrived swiftly and everything came in good time and in the right order. We were checked on twice whilst eating.
Actually, or waiter was quite a character, and infectiously cheerful - we will remember him for quite some time!
When it can to desert, he explained that, due to my having forgotten my glasses, my daughter had ordered a sharing pudding for four(!), suggested an alternative, thought about it and suggested a more suitable alternative as it was just for her, much cheaper too, so he wasn't trying to pack the bill.
When first seated, a lady came to let us know that their elephant character would be round and when, for "meet and greet" and photos.
The same lady was very apologetic when the character arrived, because he was "late" - we hadn't even noticed - and we got a little dance to make up for it.
Yes, a slightly tired venue, but I cannot fault the staff or food, and the surroundings are great for children.
Lastly, I noticed some complaints about the toilets?
The gents was perfectly fine, and I primed my daughter to check the ladies, and that was absolutely fine too.
M. T.
Great experience. The decor is fantastic but the food is very BASIC and soooooo expensive!! The kids meal are a decent portion. Do not bother with the wildlife box deal for kids. The toy is so bad! For the experience is well worth bur just be very prepared to pay.
C. G.
This was the second time we've been here and it's a great place for the kids. We didn't make a booking and just turned up. It was only a 15 minute wait which wasn't to bad seeing as it was lunch time.
The scene and set up is great and the place comes to life every so often with noises from a rainforest including a thunder storm.
Unfortunately for me twice the food wasn't great. Feels like more of a heat up your food than freshly prepared. The ribs I had today didn't feel fresh and did not really slide of the bone. Quite chewy and not much sauce.
I gave a 3 purely because its a restaurant and the food wasn't that great but for atmosphere and somewhere for the kids it is good.
N. W.
Food was good. And decor was great. Only thing what put me off was there was children running around and climbing on chairs and tables behind me. I did speak to a staff member but she said they don't tell the children off anymore as parents complained. Also saw children banging the glass on the fish tank! No one wants to eat with children running around and being naughty.
J. F.
Same food as all rainforests. What I liked about this rainforest cafe was the hostess walking us to our table and showing the kids all the fun parts of the restaurant.
C. R.
We've been bringing my daughter here in her birthday for years and though she's older now, she still likes to visit. It's all about the rainforest experience. They cater to families with young children, so it isn't a quiet place, but that isn't what you go for. It's an experience and the animals and sounds are nice. The staff was very friendly. Food was meh. Mozzarella stix were cold inside and the ceasar salad was lettuce and dressing with a bit of parmesan and was very expensive. But, drinks were good. It is a fun experience for children.
J. W.
Usually a big fan of the franchise however the staff at this one was not the friendliest or most attentive. When we first asked for a table, the waiter made us rather uncomfortable by asking us personal questions. The food was decent but I have eaten better meals at different locations of the franchise
R. W.
Honestly, it wasn't a great experience.
I came with my mum and daughter but unfortunately it took 20 minutes after our booking to actually be seated and nearly a further 20 minutes just to be served.
I ordered a Woo Woo and honestly my daughter makes squash stronger than that, I drank it purely out of principle to not waste alcohol but it tasted more like water. The portifino pasta was awful too, the zucchini was more or less raw, it was so solid I could barely get my fork through it and there was more zucchini than pasta. I couldn't taste the white wine in the sauce or the tomato - it was very watery, enough to leave red tinged flavourless liquid in the bottom of my bowl. My daughter ordered the chicken bites but left them as they didn't taste nice. I tried one and it was dry and not very tasty, my daughter didn't even bother asking for a pudding. My mum ordered the flat bread starter as a main but it was also very bland. We all left a considerable about of our food as it was really that bad.
The reason I've given 3 stars rather than 1 is because our server was genuinely very lovely, and after we complained all our food items were removed from the bill which was of course very much appreciated considering we ate barely any of it. The decor was very nice but I can't understand the popularity given the poor experience.
I. f.
ive been to rainforest cafe in california. i thought i would get the same fun experience. but i was disappointed. the menu are expensive and limited, basically, i didnt enjoy my meal. my piñacolada taste more like water. and it took us awhile to be sitted despite we were prebooked. and the service is not spontaneous. the interior needs to be redisigned.
J. “. !. S.
Always a pleasure to visit. Food and service were great. Only one gripe the toilets could do with regular cleaning.
L. R.
Read some of the reviews and was a bit worried, but to be honest it was fine. Our server was excellent, food was lightening quick (verging on too quick), kids love it. what more do you need!
D. T.
Very nice idea and the staff are very friendly and professional, however I would like to say it is quite expensive and is not a cafe in the slightest, it's a restaurant. But we'll worth a visit.
f. j. d. m.
Nice food served in generous portions. Very friendly staff. Its spectacular decoration will make it an unforgettable place for your children. Booking absolutely necessary.
F. A.
Very nice for kids but service wasn't great. We were in a big party and had ordered our drinks but apparently the waitress we had didn't give in our orders and went for her break so we had to wait around 10-15 minutes for our drinks. Everything else came quite quick. One of our drinks spilled and our new waiter said he would clean it up but we had to wait around 7 minutes for that. On the other hand it was very full and again, we were in a bit party. Food quality isn't great and it is quite pricey and I think that I found a hair in my food. Great hospitality and the staff are very kind but I definitely don't think the food is worth the money and also, the birthday cake was dry. All in all, a great place for sight seeing and the top floor is a shop so it's very nice there but I don't think you should go there looking for great food.
J. G.
Literally just got back from this wonderful restaurant. I was super impressed by the interior... the moving and noise making animals were great and really kept the kids entertained throughout! There’s so much to look at! On arrival, you arrive into the shop which sells memorabilia, soft cuddly toys etc. We were greeted as we walked in and the lady kindly explained where we would need to go for the restaurant. I would definitely recommend booking a table as far in advance as you can (we booked in November for January) as there were people walking in who were advised of a 30 minute wait to be seated. We were given a ticket to leave our stroller upstairs whilst baby sat in a high chair for the meal. Our table was ready within 5 minutes of arrival and we were seated right next to one of elephants....arguably one of the best seats in the restaurant 😊.
Our waitress was excellent....she was really cheerful, helpful and made a big effort to be playful and ‘jokey’ with our little boy. I ordered the lamb shank priced at £24. It was incredible....the meat literally fell of the bone and was tender and tasty. I could have eaten another one straight after! My partner had the cheeseburger with fries (£18) and said that was very nice too. Our son had the pizza and fries from the kids menu which also included a dessert and drink for £14 which I thought was good value. For desert we shared the chocolate brownie which was also excellent. Service charge is included in the price but I chose to give our waitress a tip separately as she was fantastic. A really great experience and I would highly recommend to both tourists and other ‘Londoners’.

Best try and book in advance.. Save waiting
We were on a short trip to London so just turned up advised of a 45 minute wait for a table.. Which we did in the meantime staff were polite and apologetic for the wait.. Even the manager apologised..
But to the credit of the staff. We only waited about 15 minutes before being shown to our table by a lovely young lady called Molly... Given the tour of the restaurant on the way to our table
Scanned the barcode to bring up the menu our phones.. Paperless due to covid I guess... Still no problem.. Pretty sure they will provide a paper menu if required
Drinks order taken and soon brought to the table..
I guess the usual kind of food menu for the style of restaurant..
Burgers. Ribs. Chicken etc
Children menu is fantastic.. £13.50..for three courses and a drink.. A little more if you want a toy included.
The portions were plenty full and our daughter really enjoyed it
Personally opted for the bbq burger..
Again ample portion size but found that the burger was over done and slightly burnt
Unfortunately you are not asked how you want your meal cooking.. Strange
My wife had rack of ribs which was very nice
The restaurant decor is amazing and as you may imagine it's based on the rainforest
In the centre of the floor is huge aquarium
Dotted around the restaurant are mechanical elephant. Monkeys and birds
Would definitely recommend visiting with children and for special occasions especially...
Like to mention that the staff are excellent here..
Make every effort to please
Thankyou molly for a wonderful experience
S. M.
It looks amazing in there and the kids loved it. So much to keep them entertained. The food though was just okay, nothing amazing. Waiter/waitress were a bit hard to get attention of, kind of just stood in the corner and kept walking past. We went at lunch time hadn't booked a table and managed to get seated straight away, I'm sure this is not the case all the time as by the time we left there were people waiting.

Perfect place to take unforgettable pictures and moments with your kids, celebrating in a family friendly and fun place. Our big family loved it, including our 2 year old! The very attentive staff and ambience are enjoyable but also not intrusive.
The food was lovely. Lots of choices and very reasonably priced for central London. The menu for kids is very extensive.
The Burger was full of flavour and was accompanied with fries and salad.
B. A. S.
Family friendly restaurant with an over-the-top jungle theme. The entire ceiling is covered in fake trees, complete with animatronic animals that move every now and then. You come for the decor and the experience, not the food quality or price. A simple burger cost 16 GBP and was okay but not great. Friendly service.
D. T.
Great family dining. The kids will love it! There's plenty of rain forest sound and decor to keep them entertained. Place is massive. Went there for a late lunch, and it was virtually empty. Ordered a Cobb salad, the biggest one I've ever seen! Portions are large, and our group was pleased with the food, and glad we came. Desserts were fantastic as well. Service was top notch, but she couldn't answer any questions about the rain forest oddly enough...
T. G.
I like this themed cafe. The experience is good and great for children. However the food is a bit expensive for what it is. However it was excellent quality even if simple food. I had a bacon cheese burger and fries. The food was hot and the fries perfect. The only down side was we waited a long time for our bill. The waiter seen to have forgotten us.
C. L.
A very good family experience in Central London. The food is very overpriced for the quality, but given this is central London you can expect this. A fantastic setting, with helpful friendly staff. My children love coming here
A. E.
Loved this cafe SO MUCH! Celebrated my daughters birthday here and she loved it so much and considered it her favourite birthday. The waiters sang happy birthday to her and she was thrilled. Has a ABSOLUTELY GREAT atmosphere. Service 8/10 Surroundings 10/10 Food 7/10
J. D.
Disappointing. The cafe itself is great re the decor and animals etc. Buy it's very expensive. £20 for a burger and old fries served in a basket. Service poor. We got our appetisers with our main. If we knew they were coming together we couldn't have ordered appetisers. Once we got our food, no one bothered with us. Just felt like it was a conveyor belt of customers. I wouldn't recommend it and won't be returning
M. L.
Great place for the kids to enjoy jungle life while having a cool lunch
P. W.
A great themed restaurant, with anamatronic animals and a thunderstorm event 30 minutes .... Simple menu, at London prices .... Lovely staff, but only really worth it as something special for the the kids ...
O. A.
Is a good restaurant for a family.
Is better if you book the table because on Saturday and Sunday is very busy so booked you don't have problem to pass directly to the restaurant.
If you going with your little ones will be a funny day the children enjoy for sure this place.
The food was good but a will put more variety of the plate to enjoy.
The toilets was clean an teddy.
The attention was very good.
L. A.
A great experience for kids.
It's certainly overpriced, but then again, eating anywhere in Central London isn't cheap.
All the kids seemed to love it, and that is as much to do with the staff as it is with the decoration of the place.
If you want an engaging meal with your little ones, and want to leave feeling full, this place is just right.
N. C.
Its good for the scenery and stuff. There is no lift so it was a bit annoying as our child was asleep as we arrived. We picked it specifically because it might be child friendly. The changing cubicle is tiny and cramped. As all the other reviews say, very overpriced, quality is terrible. Staff were nice though.
C. K.
I've visited the Rainforest Cafe in Florida, I thought we would give this a go in London.
The place looks good and the decor fits in with the theme. The food was ok, but expensive for what it was. It tasted fine, but you can tell some stuff is just reheated.
A burger and fries is 18 quid and a kids set menu of main, drink and dessert was nearly 14, but I suppose for London this is the norm.
Probably wouldn't visit again, but the kids enjoyed, which is the important part. Good to know that NHS get 15% off too, which is good in all fairness.
J. L.
A great place to take the children for a nice meal and an experience.
The service was slow.. And at one point 2 waitresses were standing staring at our table and when I motioned to indicate we wanted to order both turned away.. Which I thought was quite rude, so although the food and ambience were great.. The experience was let down by the service.
d. r.
My family and I had a wonderful time at the Rainforest Cafe. The decor and immersion was excellent and my 5 year old niece loved the animal sounds and the Thunder storms. Sana provided excellent service which was swift and exactly as we requested. A brilliant place to take both young and old. We really enjoyed our visit and thoroughly enjoyed the food.
M. B.
Great atmosphere and super friendly table service. Kids loved it the experience. But what let's the place down is the quality of the food, which is terrible. Definitely over priced considering what you get. Nachos were tasteless and gave me an upset tummy. Burger meat was dry and tasteless. the chicken nuggets were slightly undercooked. On a plus side the chips and pudding were good.
My recommendation is sort out the quality of the food and this place would be amazing.
T. B.
Everything was easy and cool the place it’s really cool we celebrate the 4 years of my son and it’s was really good
The food are not good tou pay for the place.
C. L. M.
Really great place to visit. Food was amazing and team so friendly. Animated animals throughout so great for the kids.
C.
I had an extremely nice evening with my family celebrating my birthday. I would like to say that the customer service is good and they made me feel like a star 💫 thank you Rain Forest Caffe team!
A. T.
A great venue for the kids to enjoy. Outside of the atmosphere, everything else seemed to lack the attention required to make a restaurant — chains and solos alike — a well-rounded experience. Another consideration is what you get for your money: not much past the atmosphere, and even for London, it was overpriced.
L. E.
Even with a reservation, we spent a long time waiting for our table. Once seated our waitress was rather busy and our order was taken after other new arrivals. Requested an amendment to my food only for it to be ignored. However, there were other waiters who were entertaining and enthusiastic. Fairly disappointing, don't think I'd rush back.
S. A.
The restaraunt is amazing and fun, so well decorated. My son loved it. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. However the food was such a dissapointment. It was no better than the microwave meals you get from a supermarket. My sons burger had no taste, the veg was very similar to the frozen packet veg from the store, not fresh veg like a restaraunt should be serving. My salmon had a very similar look to that which I get from my local aldi in a pack of 2 and put in the microwave, with abit of rice that was still clumped together after being squeezed out of the packet. We thought it was extremely poor for a restaraunt in such a central location in London. Such a shame as with abit of effort with the food the place could be amazing.
K. B. L.
10 stars and more for being an educational child friendly cafe!! About Nature!! Many many Congrats! !
This is the most educational and scenic cafe I have seen geared towards getting children to think of Nature!!
The photos will show how beautiful the cafe and shop areas are.
Really the best way to teach children to appreciate nature which will help them to excel at school as walking in nature helps children to be healthy and wise!!
I took photos before but hadn't gone into the shop part itself.
Downstairs is the amazing cafe and you can just order tea in what looks like a restaurant in the Rainforest!!
There is a sign by the cafe to say if you have allergen requirements speak with a member of staff!!
The entrance is wheelchair accessible but the cafe is downstairs.
Many many Congrats!!
E. S.
Great setting excellent staff but this place is let down by the food all of it starter, main dessert and the cake ,is all very poor , also if you have 2 to 3 year olds they may get scared some of the animal noises
S. T.
Very friendly staff. Excellent service. Yummy food.
N. P.
After reading the negative reviews before my visit I was bracing myself for the worst… but I needn’t have! I arrived 20 minutes early for my 12.15 booking and after a 2 minute wait at the bar was shown to our table. From there the experience was faultless. Polite waiting staff, prompt delivery of food/ drinks and menus and the food was scrummy. Definitely worth a trip with little ones - the whole atmosphere is fun and engaging (they also get colouring pencils and an activity sheet). I’d go back again.
S. B.
A really nice little store with a larger than expected restaurant set over two underground floors. The Entire restaurant and shop is set with a rainforest theme with animals such as big cats, elephants and monkeys throughout - they even have a fishtank!! Some of the animals do move, with real life sounds and they even have a thunderstorm (soundtrack) and lightning (flashing spotlights) every so often
C. W.
Great place to take the kids for meal. Bit pricey and always extremely busy. Make sure you book before you go. The staff are not always the friendly as they always running around. Definitely worth a visit to see decor even if it's just for a drink at the bar. @saffa_foodie
G. A.
Cute shop, it’s a nice place to bring kids.
A. H.
My little boy (10 months) absolutely loved the whole experience. Wonderful memories made, & yummy food!
V. C.
Super fun place for kids. A bit expensive, but for the experience is worth it.
Make sure to make reservations ahead, because the line gets long.
Stick to their sandwich menu. My husband ordered pasta and it wasn't too good.
M. G.
My daughter and I had a wonderful time. The food and atmosphere were amazing and Kazim, our waiter, was very attentive. He was kind to give us an activity pack which my daughter loved!
k. m.
Rainforest was fantastic, it is eciting when you walk in and go down the stairs as the restaurant is really decorative. however the stairs are really steep and they are dimly light. beware the animal figures are loud and they do move. if you have a fear of thunder and lightning then be warned as you will hear it through the sound affects to imitate a forest. also at this time it will be a great opportunity to record or take photos. Worth a while visiting but If your on a low budget than I would not advise this place. I have put my receipt in to show you a rough price guide . Also if your vegetarian there is limited options like fish and chips or Pasta but if your a meat eater then the steak is the best option .
A. P.
A beautiful restaurant in the center of london. Very suitable for kids since it has a lot of animal statue. Portion size was huge and enough for 2 people. Service was great and friendly. Price were a bit high but the experience justified it. A great place for a group dinner or lunch.
H.
We visited this cafe in July, we had a lovely time was a great experience for us as a family. When we left we brought a monkey teddy which our daughter loved! unfortunately this teddy got lost and our daughter was extremely upset, We emailed the cafe an asked them if they would be able to send us a replacement as we live 3 hours from London and they do not retail online. They have been a huge help finding the exact one for her and sending it out to us. I can not thank them enough! they have a gone above an beyond for us, If I could give them 10 stars I would. Thank you to the staff at the rainforest cafe!
m. l.
Went here when i was a child and had amazing time, unfortunately this time was not as good as i remembered. Got sat at a table with a dirty cover. Felt the service was ok but wasnt worth the money. Would definitely return when i have children of my own just for the experience i had as a child.
A. S.
Beautiful experience, my kids enjoyed. Staff where amazing. Didn't expect for food portions to be as large. Overall amazing
D. W.
Nice food but long wait even though we had a table booked.
R.
Gotta say probably best restaurant ever if you have children.
Staff are awesome. Sing you a nice song on your birthday.
So helpful and food is fantastic.
Adults love it too
I. E.
Very touristy place. Not my favourite place bit young kids love it. The shop is bare this days and the decoration somehow sad. The restaurant is always busy and needs to be booked in advance. Make sure you ask not to be seated at the basement, no decoration. Food is edible but not amazing ( Mc Donald's standard)
D. L.
I have to start by saying that some of the kids themes aren't suitable for 3 year olds or younger. The thunder sounds with the lights can be scary for kids, so take that in mind.
The place got significant investment in the rainforest theme and it shows, you are completely detached from the outside and feel like in a different place. Service is good.
Food is extremely over priced and very average unfortunately.
A. C.
My partner and I booked online for dinner on a Sunday night. The restaurant is located in the heart of Piccadilly circus and has a lovely shop at street level. We were shown to the table immediately, and had been allocated a wonderful waiter in Gainfranco who was attentive throughout the evening and was more than happy to help and accommodate our choices. His service was really quick and efficiency, but he also left us to enjoy our meals in the wonderful surroundings of the Rainforest. The menu is extensive and is fairly priced for the location, plus the quality was excellent and the food came out very swiftly. We wold highly recommend and would like to extend our thanks for the great service by Gainfranco which really made the meal special.
P. R.
Food was ok, we thought food and drinks were expensive considering the quality. Great atmosphere and experience for the kids but not quite as dramatic as other branches of the rainforest cafe. Worth a visit.
T. G.
Had a fab time here. Even though I didn't book, the staff managed to squeeze us in. The food is nice and the service very positive and friendly.
The only downside was, my daughter has autism and the tannoy announcements were super loud and rather off putting. I recall seeing nearly every child and adult react to the loud noises.
D. S.
The appearance of the cafe is amazing. But the food really didn't taste so good. I felt sick after eating.
J.
There has been long waiting que however I like few others did not book a table in advance. The staff was very friendly. The food will get mixed reviews. Kids pizza and macaroni cheese were tasty, however I got blant burger, which I swapped for fish and chips. The prices do not match food quality. We all however enjoyed the whole rainforest experience.
T. D.
After reading many reviews I was skeptical about going here, but the service was efficient and the staff were friendly and in control.
The food was tasty and yes it was pricey for what you got, very basic for the cost but you got a decent serving size and it was cooked well and as expected.
Its gets a 3 star because the food was expensive, but also because it felt a little rushed which meant we were not able to experience the amazing surroundings as much . Food was on the table 3 mins after ordering and as the menu is limited its clearly not cook to order and it didnt give us time to take in the experience fully, which is the main reason for going here.
L. W.
nice staff, nice food, nice experience 🥰 would’ve liked a pizza on the adult menu though and some garlic mayo for mozzarella sticks 😂
S. A.
Mainly came here for the Grandchildren & they loved the atmosphere and the costumed character. Been here before a while ago & the food has improved, really enjoyed it. Bit slow to offer us drinks but after that service was good. One Vegan in our party & they worked hard to be accommodating but options were limited. Overall a good experience.
L. H.
Tick, now we've been! However I'm now bankrupt and will be rashening the rest of the month! This was a birthday treat for my son's 10th, we paid around £13 for his tiny pizza! Adult portions good but extremely over priced with service conveniently added to bill! Three of us spent £58 plus drinks. Won't be going again. Decor and sound effects fun for the kids.
P. C.
An enjoyable time was had by everyone. The food was nice if a little over priced and it was missing the extra spark from the Rainforest Cafe in Vegas. Still definitely worth a visit if you're in London with kids.
C. 1. S.
The Rain-forest Cafe is a restaurant with a tropical theme. The food is good and the prices are fair. The service is polite, but the place is noisy. The lobster is great, but the place is infested with rats. The food is too salty and I got shot.
J. B.
We took our kids 4 and 7 here for dinner when in London for the weekend.
The decor is quite a novelty for children - but that's about all it offers. The food is very average, the service was average and the experience was average.
It's got the location and set up to be something really quite special - and maybe once upon a time it was - but it would benefit from a real overhaul of its menu and service if it wants to provide the experience it promotes.
D. D.
Nearly a 2 star but thankfully the quality of the food pulled it around to 3 stars. My main issue which nearly resulted in us leaving was the poor initial service......basically there wasn't any. We arrived 5 minutes early so out table was being prepared we were offered a seat at the bar as I asked for some drinks I was informed there was no bar service (obviously drinks were being poured for tables but you couldn't physically order at the bar) once the table was ready we were then seated and given menus. We then waited 20 minutes for our next interaction with a waitress. OK its great sitting there and taking in the rainforest experience, the sound effects and motion activated animals but sitting there without any drinks is just poor. Once we did get served the lady was very friendly and the food ultimately was really good but for 25 minutes we waited without drinks. We knew it was expensive but I did feel rather cheated with the cost considering the poor service to start with. No return likely.
K. F.
When I went the electricity was down so the animals weren't moving but it still looked great. The staff are very friendly and generally quick serving. The atmosphere and lighting is really good.
V. L.
A good fun place to go with the kids to eat. Food was decent and the young staff friendly.
A. S.
Good destination experience. Ensure you book, busy as can be expected, multi floors. The pulled pork was a great value meal!
D. F.
A great experience for my two granddaughters and myself. The food was good and the decor was fantastic complete with thunderstorms! I would definitely recommend it.
S. G.
Great entertainment for the kids. Very well decorated and the thunder storm is good fun. Food is very low quality and very expensive
B. b.
Lovely place to go for eat out. The food and service is good the place is for the whole family and friends especially with kids as they have lot of attraction to keep the kids entertained. A good family friendly restaurant.
D. F.
Food was great, I have been before and know service is normally fantastic however this occasion.... very understaffed and very slow. 4 stars because previous other wise would have been 5
I. C.
Good to visit. Try and go when not busy as I think they are short staffed. Carribbean shrimp was not very Carribbean but a nice prawn dish nevertheless. Not cheap. 4 dishes + bottle of wine £125.

We were so looking forward to coming for my niece's birthday. We watched loads of people being turned away when all of downstairs was empty. We were then seated downstairs and it remained pretty empty. When our starters came we had no cutlery and weren't asked if we wanted condiments so we had to ask. When our mains came the empty starter plates were left in a big pile on the table and when I asked for another drink, the waitress put it in between my cutlery and my plate. Once we finished mains, my niece was brought her pudding even though she hadn't eater half of her pizza. It all seemed very rushed when there was no need, we found out it was the girls first day however this was a once in a lifetime experience for us and it was just all of a damp squib.
T. B.
Great experience for kids, extremely friendly and helpful staff. Food quite expensive
T. M.
Super expensive for what you get foodwise (50 pounds for one kids basic kids meal mac and cheese, fruit shoot and ice cream, one adult salad, cider and dessert) but worth every penny for my two kids absolutely loved going and seeing animated animals. Servers very friendly and helpful. Even carried pram up and down stairs to first level, there is a lift to the second level. Also my salad was missing the avocado and ranch dressing but by the time I found that out I couldn't find any server at all.
F. D. V.
We got a hidden table missing a lot of the show. Food was not bad but had a lot of fat. The spare ribs where cooked a not bbq... the meat was tenber but is supposed to be crispy. It a great environment but we couldn't enjoy it completely. Perfect spot for families with little children ..
L. M.
We enjoyed a great Sunday brunch on 17th October 2021. We were also given a Birthday song for a Granddaughter, who I might add received a cheetah face paint before a surprise visit to the Lion King show.
S. H.
Really lovely place. Loved all the animals making noises And the sound of the rain. Staff were really friendly too! Food was ok.
J. W.
I looked at a lot of the reviews before going here and thought I would give it a go. It was OK... The lady upstairs was very enthusiastic and a great welcome, that's where the enthusiasm stopped, our waiter was very good, but you could tell he was embarrassed by his colleagues. The girl who showed us to our table was about as welcoming as fire at a matchstick warehouse, we sat for 25 mins before anyone even looked at us. The decor was good, if a little dated! Sound and animals were too loud in my opinion and you could tell they were upsetting some of the kids. They were good just turn it down a touch. You really need to let a lot of your staff know they work in a children's restaurant not a morgue. It was a shame because, like I said some of the staff were great. The food was very average but highly overpriced and the 12.5% service charge I don't mind but honestly it wasn't deserved. Will not be going again.
m.
Loved it and all the children absolutely loved it. I would definitely recommend. The staff were lovely and accommodating. How host Katrina was amazing and very attentive towards us. She made it a lovely experience for the children
C. R.
Nice place the shop on the ground floor and the restaurant at the basement is lovely to bring you kids for a walk and help themselves foe a nice toy and help the rainforest too.
Happy to visit this place and lot to see helful and friendly staff.
Will go back and recommend it to have a look
K. S.
Went here for my sons 1st birthday lunch. Food was ok, service good, but the restaurant itself is a lot of fun in itself!
C. A.
Great place for the kids and grown ups alike. Service was excellent, our waitress was Billie. Menu is on the website so you can check it out before you go. It's not cheap but portions are pretty big so it still represents good value for money. Remember this is an experience not just a restaurant so go and enjoy yourselves.
M. T.
Slow service on our visit, probably due to lack of staffing due to Covid. The server was delightful kept us happy and entertained, cracking jokes from time to time. I think it was a bit pricy.
F. S. &. G.
Great experience for the kids. You have to scan a QR code on your phone to view the menu, which proved to be a real pain in the backside. They did not have several items that we picked from the menu and we had to wait a long time for the food to arrive. It was nice once it did though. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Be prepared for a very large bill, although that is to be expected.
P. J. A. C.
Beautiful place! The atmosphere almost makes you forget that is winter out there. Good drinks menu. I think food is a bit above average, not amazing and that would be my negative especially for the price you are paying. Definitely coming back for drinks though. Do not forget yo buy a souvenir :)
D. C.
Great venue for the kids plenty to see and entertain the little ones. Would like to give five stars but the food is very mediocre.
M. C.
We had a really great time here, big shout out to our server Robyn! She really knows her Disney and was so much fun to talk to! 🥰
j.
Amazing for kids. Food is ok but it's a kids restaurant so if you expect anything nicer there is something wrong with your head.
R. S.
Not the best place, very loud music, got put on a table with very little space, got served starters and main course at the same time, but a positive the staff are excellent and attentive but it's very well decorated in jungle theme
M. D.
Good food and always good price if you take consideration about you eat in London Center and good price for experienze they give it to you. I suggest to pre-order you table just for don't have problems..
D. B.
Good for kids and food not too bed. If you get embarrassed easily then don't tell them it is the birthday of anyone at your table. Mortifying!
R. P.
The experience is great. Worth every minute. Use the bar, not just the dining area.
O. B.
Superb!
S. C.
Great place for both adults and kids. Loved the food and design of place and all the sounds . Staff very friendly
k. h.
Really nice food and excellent staff.
Just remember to book a table as it gets busy. And I can see why as its an amazing place to eat.
S. G.
Loved this place. Such a unique place. The meals were a really good size, in fact, maybe a little too big!
I had the pulled pork, it was delicious
D. R.
Amazing! Lovely atmosphere, great food and quality. Service could been better and the prices are very expensive but lovely overall
S. S.
Absolutely loved it here. The whole rainforest effect is great. The animals. The sounds of the thunderstorm. The authentic sounds. Great service. Great atmosphere. Good wasn't too expensive, well presented and very tasty. Good sized portions. If it's your birthday everyone sings Happy Birthday to you. I'm a very grown up person it was a bit embarrassing but nevertheless fun. Loved it
N. C.
Hats off to you guys. Short-staffed (pingdemic?), we were waited on by a very stressed, yet cheerful, hostess. It took an hour to get a drink but our food came shortly after. The fish was delicious, very memorable for just fish n chips fish.
I personally could do without the audio (thunder, animal noises) but I get it's more for the kiddies. I had a lovely evening, thank you.
e. b.
Atmosfere is great, definitely children's paradise. The staff were friendly and helpful Food is ok, overpriced.
I. R.
Brilliant venue, our young son loves it. Service can bit a bit slow sometimes but for once it's nice not to be rushed.
B. L.
Great place to celebrate birthday for the young one... the price is reasonable and food is just not so bad...
C. S.
Came here with a group of friends and our kids. We enjoyed both the menu and the atmosphere. Staff were helpful and knowledgeable and the kids were entertained throughout. I will definately be back with other visiting friends
J. R.
Very family friendly. Great theme! 9yr old ASD son LOVED it. We were positioned in a less busy corner but did not feel we missed out on any experience as we were right next to animated elephants and could see the main gorilla display and starry sky. The food was better than I expected and as reasonably priced as things like this get (£16.60 for childs meal including a palm tree cup to keep I paid £17.50 for an adults main meal) Staff were friendly and welcoming, checked children were ok when any of the animals moved and during 'storms'. We did not feel rushed but was promptly brought the bill when asked. The downside was the accessibility. I rang to book prior and its lucky I did as I was told the entire forest floor was closed and the lift was not in use so the ONLY access to the restaurant was down stairs. Luckily I am able to walk short distances with crutches and was able to prepare and adjust me day to make sure I could manage this. As such wheelchair users would not currently be able to dine here which is a real shame. The toilets on the main floor could really use a decent refurb and one stall with grab rails (as the disabled toilet is on the forest floor level which is not in use!) but they were kept clean and tidy.
I did notice that other diners were too hot, it probably was a little warm but we were ok in summer tops/T shirts.
I would absolutely recommend to able bodied families but advise anyone with wheelchairs, mobility aids etc to call to check when/if the lift is available again.
L. B.
Amazing experience for adults and children food is amazing. worth the money. Every child needs to come here once in there childhood.
D. T.
Ideal party venue for the young set. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
J. C.
Fantastic experience. Staff were lovely. The atmosphere is perfect for kids.
K. J.
The atmosphere is fantastic and such a great experience for all. The gorillas were a family favourite as always. The reason for 4 stars is I'm always disappointed with the food and drink selection as its never all been fully avaliable and as a gluten free person that already limits what I can have. That being said, the food is lovely when it comes and will presented. And the dust ate above and beyond in their care for the children.
J. M.
I always enjoy visiting this restaurant. They offer good quality food at reasonable prices for the area. The atmosphere is incredible and is a talking point. The service was quick and the staff were friendly. By the way they accept blue light card (they did when I went anyway).
V. S.
Amazing experience! Service was great- our waitress Chrissy was just a delight! Food could be better for the price but overall will definitely recommend
R. G.
Unique setting but nothing out of the ordinary when it comes to food or drink. Daughter liked it 👍
L. H.
Friendly staff, good food. Expensive but it's central London so to be expected!
It exceeded our expectations, great for a meal out with the children who were kept well entertained in the rainforest!
B. W.
Its a bit tired (we took our children 20 years ago) but we had excellent service and the burger and chips were surprisingly good. Definitely recommend for at 10th birthday party for your child
K. S.
Great for kids although menu is quite small
T. E. c.
Kids will love it! I've been spoilt and been to Florida RFC, but not too bad. Service was a bit rushed - seemed like 'get them in and out quick' main meals arrived whilst we were tucking into our starters...but, got to be done for the experience, kids will love the simulated thunder storm every 20minutes - including rain!
K. L.
An excellent venue for the kids. Service was excellent staff where very helpful. Great menu choice. Was a little pricy but your paying for experience and location.
B. C.
You have to try rainforest cafe for a light lunch and a big experience. Kids absolutely love trying to spot all the wildlife hidden in the leaves and trees which line all the walls and roof. Such fun, for a moment yo uh actually think you're in the forest. Good job guys and great food, prices and quality.
X. L.
Great service and good drinks
V. M.
Amazing experience at the Amazon rainforest themed restaurant. We went there to celebrate my son's 1st birthday. We were a bit late but they still gave us the reservation. Perfect place for kids. Loved the jungle ambience. But what stood out for me was the service. The lady who attended us, Katerina, was a star. She took every step to make sure we (especially our son) were comfortable and went beyond her way to help us make our son's first birthday special. Thank you Katerina! Thank you Rainforest Cafe! Our tiny tot really enjoyed his first birthday!
M. T.
I went with my family and they had an amazing day! They really enjoyed!
T. M.
Super expensive for what you get foodwise (50 pounds for one kids basic kids meal mac and cheese, fruit shoot and ice cream, one adult salad, cider and dessert) but worth every penny for my two kids absolutely loved going and seeing …
M. B.
Very nice quick lunch for family! Nice and strange ambient with animatronix of animals!
d. w.
£14 for 2 diet coke...you make your own mind up
F. Y.
Recommended for kids and adults that love animals. It’s just a new experience to have specially if its your birthday!
G. G.
Great place to take the kids. Good food and the theme works well

Not cheap for what you get but kids will like it. They had a face painting service for additional cost and the friends we had pre booked a Santa package. Both the kids enjoyed the place. Overall was fine for a family session.

I think this place needs to be managed better and updated. Kids enjoyed it and the food was ok

I've been in other Rainforest Cafe restaurants and kind of like it, but London's one is something boring. We were seated in a table at the end of saloon and completely isolated. The restaurant was not busy and they could have put us in a more central table, even being for 4 people while we were 2 people. My dish, Rasta Pasta was not tasteful, so I don't recommend it. I was expecting a better experience.

Very poor management, watched as a member of senior staff picked up a straw from the dirty floor at the bar area and put it into the container along with the other straws😨. Had to ask staff to sweep the floor of previous diners detritus and then at 7:30 we were told they would be closing the Cafe @10pm. Definitely not returning there 😡😡

Great place. Prices a bit over the top but as a birthday treat it's s fun place

The food was goof and the cocktails were OK. The service was slow and the staff were friendly enough. If I hadn't had a better experience at Disney Animal Kingdom I might have gone up a star unfortunately it was decidedly average.

Amazing atmosphere. Really nice place to visit if you come to London. A little bit busy in the summer holidays. But when is not busy it can be the best time of your life.

We were in a group of 8 and had reserved a table. We were served quickly and the server was lovely. The food was hugely overpriced but tasty. Had a nice time but wont go again.

A different experience it was. Really a place to enjoy if you got kids accompanying you..
Nice ambiance good options for bar and food.
Only thing negative I feel was they don't let you sit if you are in only for drinks and not ordering food.
Overall place to visit.

Just went in for a few drinks really enjoyed the fact they sing to people for their birthday.
I think it's a nice place for children however it definitely needs a spruce up.

The atmosphere was great and the children enjoyed the night. The staff were polite and helpful at all times, however I found the food to be under seasoned and overpriced.

Very enjoyable. My little nephew who is autistic was the happiest I’ve ever seen him plus the food was surprisingly good and I have high expectations

The only reason I am giving 3 starts is because if Kazim he was such a delight with my 3 year old. The girls at tge front after I mentioned I was alone with a 3 years old gave me the worst table in the dark corner. Food was just like a kids dinner. Kazim kept us happy and smiling even though I was disappointed with the set up when I booked my table in advance

A fantastic place to visit. The whole experience won't be forgotten quickly. The food was tasty and well presented. Children and adults will enjoy this unique opportunity to experience the thril of a rainforest! The staff were friendly and went out of the way to be helpful. This is a very popular place so booking is important.

Waited 35m for our booked table then 25 mins until we were served. It didn't spoil our experience but be prepared for it. Recommended for young kids only.
