R. Q.First time getting takeaway from here. I ordered som tam, egg fried rice, chicken Cashew and chicken flat noodle stir fry. The food was delicious. We got 2 bottles of complimentary drinks which was a lovely surprise. Delivery was super fast. Som tam personally would have added more chilli but that's personal preference. Nonetheless the authentic flavour was certainly there! With 15% discount online you can't complain. Thank you so much Rama Thai, definitely coming back for more 😊
K. B.I can’t rave about this place enough. Favourite dishes are the spicy chicken and a side of egg fried rice, green vegetable curry, and the spicy wings. Never had a bad meal and it’s always consistently delicious. Most times we order delivery they send us a free drink (this time it was a whole bottle of oat milk) which is so appreciative. Best service and food. Look forward to our next meal!

Food was delicious and so flavourful, i asked for the pad thai to be saucy and my beef dish and tom yum soup to be spicy, i got exactly what i asked for and was very satisfied. I ordered via their website and called to make my special request. The guy that took my order later called me back to check if i was happy with my order. I would highly recommend you order from rama thai's website, you will not be disappointed!

The curry was a bit salty and the summer rolls just had a lot of raw vegetables that was a bit overbearing. The vegetable tempura was good. Overall, a good experience.

A. V.Let's just say I'm the biggest fan of pad thai and I've been searching for THE best pad thai place in London for awhile now. Tried the pad thai with vegetables & pad thai with tofu today from Rama Thai and it was honestly one of the best I've ever had. The nice lady Maria ensured that my order came promptly/in best shape and most importantly, catered to my specific liking of pad thai (no EGG and extra spicy). Would definitely highly recommend if you are looking for a authentic SPICY (I'm sure it can be made not spicy too) pad thai. Thank you Rama Thai Restaurant for definitely making my weekend - see you in a few days definitely re-ordering.

R. G.A rare find! You won't be able to tell from the outside (in fact it looked closed from afar until we walked right up to it) but once you step inside, you're in for a treat. Unlike the typical Thai places which are all about loud, buzzy crowds in casual settings, this place is all linen top tables, good jazz music, and great food. The pad see-eew had a proper smoky flavour to it and was delicious (but if you're the picky sort you'd be saying things like "oh but they used the wrong sort of noodles". As a non-Thai, my only metric is: did it taste good?). We also tried the prawn toast, spicy beef salad, and jungle curry. Prawn toast and jungle curry were particularly good. Note: the jungle curry had a real kick to it so take care if you're not used to true Thai-grade spiciness. Service is super friendly and quick - we don't live in the area but we'll definitely be back!! P.S. They don't include service charge in the bill so notify the server in advance if you'd like to tip.

N.I had my birthday meal here and it was absolutely spot on. The customer service was friendly, helpful and fun. We had great food which everyone enjoyed, served in good sized portions promptly. My guests and I couldn't have been more pleased. The refurbishment lightens the decor and makes the venue look fresh and modern. Well done to all the team here. Thoroughly recommended.
F. P.This is a hidden jewel of East London serving fantastic quality Thai food. Crammed in among a row of shops and restaurants it's easy to miss. I would highly recommend the Thai Iced Tea - nothing like an iced tea you've had before. I would recommend the starter platter - I shared it with a friend - a number of great things on there. And the noodle dishes are great too. I'd stay away from the Jungle curry unless you really are a Thai jungle maniac?
M.I had Pad Thai and Tom Kha soup, red curry and green curry. All were better than at other 2 local Thai restaurants. On top of it it was also a bit cheaper than at these other 2 restaurants. Green curry with coconut rice is my favourite. I will be coming back for more, also for takeaway. 5 stars.

Just make sure you don't walk past it as it's rather small and hard to spot.

C. F. M.We have ordered takeaway and eat in the restaurant many times. Food is yummy and service is really friendly. Not a large selection of beers but all of them asian and the cheapest price for a bottle of beer in a London restaurant (£2.5),an East London hidden gem.
M.Went here yesterday, excellent spicy som tam, chicken Penang, pad Thai, chilli and garlic veg stir fry, veg green curry, washed down with a Jasmine tea.. the tamarind dip with the prawn crackers was a nice change to sweet chilli.
Been to Thailand many times and this is just as good as going there.
As we went on a Monday the food wasnt rushed out, it's worth waiting for.
For three adults and a 5 year old the bill was £40. We didn't drink alcohol this day, but saw others drinking Chang Thai beer. Two adults were veg and the restaurant catered for them.. one adult and child ate meat.
The restaurant is on a busy high Street, park on a side road or the tube station is opposite.
