We came here to show solidarity in some small way with the brave and courageous people of Ukraine. And in doing so we also had the best night of our lives. This place is incredible. You are warmly welcomed as you arrive, demonstrating the warmth of the Ukrainian people. The food is exceptional. We took advice from the attentive and knowledgeable Ukrainian waitresses and were not disappointed. Every bite was mouthwatering. The chef is a culinary genius. The drinks also were superb and a nice touch was to give you two yellow and blue straws in the colours of the Ukrainian flag. The decor and atmosphere was amazing. The best part of the whole evening was the conversation with the waitresses who made time for everybody and spoke about everything Ukrainian. In the background Ukrainian news was playing so we could keep abreast of developments. This place is superb and represents all that is incredible about Ukraine. Everybody must come here. We support Ukraine and Ukrainians wherever they are the world. Please visit this restaurant to have the time of your life and show your support.

We found Albina by chance and it became a very special night. The Borsch was out of this world and the pork was delicious. But most importantly the staff were friendly and attentive, their recommendations were spot on and we left the place happy and satisfied. We will definitely come back and bring friends!

A group of us wanted to try Ukrainian food and I’m so glad we came to Albina. The decor and atmosphere is really cosy, food and drink was great (try the Uzvar - what a unique flavour, I’ve never had anything like it). It’s a family restaurant, and they were so welcoming and friendly. We left as friends, and we’ll be back soon. Love finding places like this. Fantastic!

We visited Albina at Saturday afternoon. The borscht tasted good and was autentic. Rabbit with sour cream was delicious. Pork knuckle with stewed cabbage was spectacular, massive portion with tasty sour cabbage. Ukrainian beer was decent and vodka was cold. Decor of restaurant gives vibes of Eastern European Inn . Prices are reasonable, food was good quality. Service was flawless. I'm sure I will visit this place again.

The menu is rather big and has a big variety of different dishes to choose from. I truly recommend this awesome place to anyone that loves or would love to try some Eastern European/Ukrainian food. A true hidden gem. I would give it 5 stars but it's a bit too expensive for what you get. Everything is good though. My favourite was pielmieny. Probably the best I've ever had. They went really well with sour cream. I might go there again for this dish sometime soon.

On the recommendation of friends noted the birthday of my child - were very satisfied. The decoration and service are simply fabulous. We and all our guests were very pleased. The total number of guests is 42 people with children. Especially everyone liked the sweet table - such a yummy last time I ate in my childhood. It's a taste from childhood. I rarely give a coffee shop 5 stars. There are so many in Portland, and they are all very good. We are so blessed to have a city with so many skilled producers and baristas. I tend to give most of the shops 4 stars because they're really good, but do nothing to set themselves apart from all the others. Albina Press, you get 5 stars. You took a small step that made all the difference in my coffee-drinking experience. You warmed up the mug! Most places give you a massive, heavy mug, retaining the cold temperature of winter. Within minutes, your cup of coffee is lukewarm. Albina heats up their mugs. It's a very small added step that made a huge difference in the experience. Most of the time I feel the need to chug my drink before it's cold, but this was special.
