Reviews of Restaurant Gordon Ramsay
M. D.
Great restaurant. Clean atmosphere. Heart touching atmosphere. I like this restaurant and I guess every customer likes. Very good service. nice and best taste and workers are friendly. ☺️☺️☺️
T. O.
Sadly, taste was too strong for me to find the virtue of finest ingredients.
While I say most recommendable restaurant for ANYBODY.
Service was perfect, price was reasonable.
Taste was very understandable, also designed to feel familiar with, as ANYBODY can enjoy.
Efforts of Chef and all staffs to make taste undastandable were so respectable.
But I'd like to have some special experience at 3 star restaurants.
For example, historical, local, unique, something very new, rare ingredients... etc
I would say many other 3 star restaurants in France gave me
more attractive experiences based on culture and tradition,
without deleting delicate flavor of finest ingredients.

Underwhelming experience considering the reputation. For non food connoisseurs, it tasted fine but not spectacular, and creativity level also didn’t come close to that of some other restaurants we’ve been to.
Admittedly, the food menu price point is relatively more compelling for a 3-Michelin, but we discovered only at the end of the meal that this was made up for by their wine. We told the sommelier that we didn’t want a full pairing but just a couple of glasses to go with the food as we didn’t want to drink too much. The resulting cost of the ‘few glasses’ ended up being the same as (or more than, if I recall correctly) a full wine pairing - one of the small red glasses cost ~£50-£60. As a result we felt a little cheated into spending so much extra on wine which we never set out to do (lesson learned to always check beforehand). Most other restaurants tend to be a bit more reasonable with their wine recommendations and transparent with costs.
Overall, the food tasted fine, similar to other fine dining restaurants, but wasn’t memorable and lacked creativity compared to other places we’d been to, and wine suggestion did not feel suitable/reasonable. Given the reputation, Michelin rating and final price point (including the wine), we would’ve expected more.
Dined there in August 2020.

Service was outstanding! Everyone was so welcoming and lovely. I have to admit that it’s not the best Michelin star meal I’ve devoured. It was very very delicious but it didn’t have a wow factor compared to other Michelin star restaurants I’ve been to.

Environment 5/5
Food 5/5
Service 5/5
Cleanliness 5/5
I decided to visit this restaurant after viewing Gordon Ramsay's YouTube video “Gordon Ramsay looks back at 22 years of his Flagship Restaurant.” I am studying abroad in London and seized the opportunity to accompany my brother to the restaurant. Prior to visiting this restaurant, I learned that this was Gordon's first establishment and that it has maintained three Michelin stars for the last two decades.
I entered the restaurant, but there was no one outside to assist us in entering. However, I sensed the hospitality as soon as the waitress requested that we hang our jackets in the cloakroom. We sat and a man with a French accent began presenting us with the menu. I noticed two cards with our names on them. It was a handwritten happy birthday card prepared by the restaurant staff for us. He was extremely pleasant and helpful. Dinner is served from one of three menus. Carte Blanche is where the chef expresses his creativity and surprises us with a seven-course meal priced at £220, Menu prestige is another seven-course meal priced at £170, and A la carte is another seven-course meal priced at £140. I ordered the Carte Blanche, while my brother ordered the prestige menu. The wine menu was brought to us via pdf on an iPad by one of the employees.
This restaurant provided the best service I've ever encountered. The staff was pleasant, attentive, and cheerful. My water was always refilled for me before I could finish it. It's a fantastic environment because you can observe the various ways in which the employees interacted with me. Certain individuals were more extroverted than others. Each time we were served, they described what we were eating in detail. When it was time to use the restroom, the employees escorted me there. When it was time to sit, they would move the table for me and then reposition it once I was seated.
Every time the Frenchman spoke to us, he referred to us by our names. I inquired as to whether he does this with every customer, to which he responded affirmatively. I was so taken aback that I inquired as to his name. That would be Jean Claude. Jean Claude came by at the conclusion of our meal and wished us both a happy birthday and sang for us. He advised us to take a tour of the kitchen prior to departing.
My brother went to the restroom, and I decided to re-watch the Gordon Ramsay video, which I noticed featured Jean Claude. I conducted additional research on him on the Restaurant Gordon Ramsay website and discovered that he met Gordon in France and co-founded a restaurant with him in 1993. It's been 29 years, and I'm still amazed that he maintains such a positive attitude toward each customer he serves. Imagine waking up and going to work every day for 29 years, remembering everyone's name and making a positive difference in the lives of others. He has become a new source of inspiration for me.
We toured the kitchen and met the head chef Kim after my brother emerged from the restroom. She was extremely friendly, and we were able to photograph her. I was astounded by how clean the kitchen was and by the fact that it was staffed by sixteen people. We exchanged photographs with Jean Claude and said our farewells. We spent approximately $767 on this meal, but what we received was far more valuable. I got to visit Gordon Ramsay's first restaurant, meet my new inspiration, and observe how a high-end restaurant operates. When I left, it was as if I had experienced the environment's positivity and witnessed Gordon's origin story and how far he has gotten.
In less than a month and a half, Jean Claude will retire. I strongly advise you to come and receive his services prior to his retirement. He now works only two and a half days a week.
If you eat here, make sure to allow enough time to eat, as I ate from 6:00pm-9:00pm.

Restaurant Gordon Ramsey is one of those restaurant that you eat not to get full but for a good experience. The food is expensive and small but the service was exceptional. They gave us the self serve waters, but filled our waters for us. We almost never ran out of water and the French waiter named Jean-Claude who has been working for 29 years remembered everyone’s name in the restaurant. My brother and I were celebrating a birthday and we get hand signed birthday card from different crew members and a tour of the kitchen. I’ve attached photos and I felt like a king there. All of the staff was incredibly helpful and gave their insight and felt like a friend instead of a waiter. The kitchen was spotlessly clean and I have nothing bad to say. If you can afford the food, this experience is a one in a kind. Easily the best restaurant I’ve eaten at.
Y. F.
Evening dinner was a delight and that’s because the service was excellent and our host Jean Klaus was excellent.
The food was delicious and each course was a delight.
The ravioli is a must and so is the apple tartin.
A. C.
An incredibly special experience. Amazing food, matched by the service. Can't recommend anything more.
L. B.
Had the menu prestige, I have never eaten at a michelin starred restaurant before so we were not sure what to expect, however the staff were very accomodating and kind. The food was uncomparable to any food I have tasted before, introducing me to flavours I didn't know existed. I joked to my partner that we were going to have to figure out how to climb down from this quality of food back down to our usual grub. The floor staff were also very attentive, they knew the dishes inside out and would occasionally make small talk with us, which was a nice touch to make us feel welcome. If you have the money to spend and a strong appetite, I cannot recommend this place enough!
H. S.
The experience and the food were very amazingly memorable. In particular, the lobster ravioli was amazing. Overall, the quality of the whole dish was truly breathtakingly delicious. The staff was really good and attentive. The sommelier was very helpful in giving advice to what wine to choose for the set menu we had
S. L.
Had dinner here on our last night on holiday in London. It has always been a dream of mine to cone here and it did not disappoint. I'm a HUGE GR fan. The food was perfection, the service un matched. Every plate was a work of art. Thank you to all the staff that made the end of our holiday a dream come true. Gr you inspire me to run my business with as much passion and perfection as you have. Thank you.
S. A.
Fantastic service and food.. thx a lot it was a real pleasure :-)
C. l.
Without a doubt the quality of production is great. As expected from a 3 Michelin starred restaurant
Every dish was intricate and beautiful. With flavour to match the complexity of plating.
The only very very slight issue was that I felt 1 or 2 dishes felt unoriginal and comparatively plain in personality.
G. Y. T.
my second try in this 3-star michelin experience since 2015. first time going for a surprise bespoke menu “carte blanche”. it was indeed better than my last try but hits and misses for certain dishes. overall still a good experience except for some dishes which i personally felt that it was too salty or too complex / trying too hard. at this price point, im sure we all have high expectations. service was definitely on point and kudos to the team!
scallops from the isle of skye was the highlight of the day >> it was absolutely delicious and fresh, superb texture and the sauce illuminated the freshness! for me, cornish cod was the most unimpressive even though it was served with cavier.
1. cured sea trout
2. grilled scallops from Isle of Skye
3. cornish cod
4. guineafowl “blanquette”
5. brie de meaux
6. rhubarb and custard
7. mille feuille
m. c. a.
The food was out of this world! Everything I had was spectacular, from the flavors, the way it was presented, to the dishware. It was like edible art, the service was outstanding and I had a great experience.
s. c.
Amazing meal!
Gordon knows why missing a 💫
B. K.
Service was phenomenal, the staff are true experts of fine dining. Great experience.
Z. C.
The food was good but I don't see why it's a Michelin 3 star restaurant. I think the Michelin one star restaurants we had a few months ago were better unfortunately. It's a real disappointment for me.
The service was really good, and the stuff were pleasant. That's a big plus.
R. T.
Service was good, despite then forgetting to pour me the sauce on two of my dishes. Setting was lovely. Food was good but what stopped me from giving it 5* was the little attention to detail that was missing for a 3* restaurant. Also, the food was not as hot as one would expect.
Y. A.
We had set lunch here and even that was fantastic. I would say the best experience so far!
E. S.
It was my first time dinner. Food and service quality was good. Order delivery time was delay.
j. c.
Great place. Fantastic food and service. Went for special occasion. Loved it
J.
Nice food just a little posh for me, I have no complaints lovely people but I guess next time I will find a greasy spoon and tuck into a good old sausage chips and beans with a dab of brown sauce
A. F.
What an amazing experience. The food was amazing (obviously), but the staff were something else. They really made our night. So friendly, full of energy and knowledgeable.
T. C.
This is the first 3-star Michelin restaurant I visited. The food is excellent and artistic presented except too salty. The service is a little bit disappointed because the waitress put her arm across the table to serve. That’s why one star was taken away in my experience.
M. R. W.
This is our favourite restaurant in London.. food is always outstanding & the service is impeccable, especially if JC is there 💙 We’ve been many times over the years & will always book when visiting London 🥂
A. e.
Wonderful food, of course, but more importantly, very, very welcoming from the Maitre D' and all the staff. A very lovely experience
H. C.
Unbelievable service, extra dishes were very nice, food was extraordinary, thank you very much! A 10/10 experience
W. W.
Just wanted to say thanks for an absolutely amazing dining experience. We all had the Carte Blanche menu and really enjoyed the surprise element. In particular, the additional pasta course was simply sublime.
The staff were incredibly attentive, and the Maître d' (Jean-Claude) really made the night a special one.
J. J.
5 stars, continuous experience before and after. One shall engage in leisurely process of sampling a plethora of creative dishes, with around 20 minutes apart for a chance for one to gulp down some truly exquisite aperitifs and digestives. One shall expend about 3 hours, so it gives one's digestive system a slow and steady stream of work. At the end, one shall visit the kitchen and indulge in the creative process for oneself (maybe even exchange pleasantries with the maestro behind the scenes). After one returns to one's dwelling, ones digestive system slowly releases flatulence, which expunges the smell of the dishes one tasted earlier, so the continuous experience can continue for up to 48 hours, depending on the speed of one's metabolism.
Highly recommended.

Wonderful experience fabulous food fabulous service.
Well done 👏. Will definitely be back.
Thank you.
D. T.
Pros: the food was fairly on the money. Slightly below expectation but overall satisfied. Staff are very accommodating and helpful.
Cons: Monsieur Ramsay career has carelessly profited from the obliteration of hundreds of American family owned restaurants.
M. L.
Absolutely amazing restaurant which lives up to the 3 starred billing , amazing service, fantastic food and a great wine selection .we will be back for another visit

(The photos are from about 2 years ago)
No comments on the food, it was very good from the beginning until the end. It truly deserves the 3 Michelin stars, they finesse everything and the flavors are out of this world.
The staff is extremely friendly, in the end they even invited us to have a look in their kitchen; we were impressed by the food hygiene and the whole organization in the kitchen, between the chefs.
It is truly a unique experience!
C. R.
Food and service out of this world massive thank you to all of the staff that made my 50th birthday celebrations so perfect
E. M.
Simply amazing. The service is unparalleled, as is the food and experience. Expensive but definitely worth it as a treat. We had the "carte blanche" menu and every course was delicious. Highly recommended.
V. V.
We had visited this restaurant for a special occasion and had the most memorable meal yet. This is certainly the finest meal I've had in London and was hosted by an incredibly loving team!
Every dish was like a display of art, would almost hurt me to deconstruct it in order to taste it!
S. B.
We were treated as though we were the only table there by front of house and got to meet chef Matt Abe and his team in the kitchen. We are already looking forward to our next visit
D. D.
The best food I've ever had. The restaurant, the food and the staff are amazing. I can't recommend this restaurant enough. We even got a tour of the kitchen.
A. M.
I fell in love with this restaurant. Food was good, presentation could be a lil bit more creative, but other than that, I would eat here again;)
R. S.
Service is very good, but also very on top of you. Perhaps as we were the first seating for the evening.
Ordered the Carte Blanche. The food is good, but nothing mind boggling. Only disappointment was the lobster as it felt slightly chewy and not what I expected after having had quite fresh lobster in Cornwall the week before.
I'd check Pollen Street Social if you're interested in a slightly more foodie experience rather than the other aspects of the dining experience.
F. S.
It's the best restaurant in the UK. 3 Michelin stars, amazing service and the best of the best when it comes to food and drink
V. B.
Delicious Food, fantastic friendly service and lovely quiet atmosphere 👌
M. H.
Best meal I’ve ever had!!!! If you don’t want to spend a crazy amount to eat here go for lunch. We went during lunch and still had the most incredible service! The food was the best part of course and the chef will send out surprises between your dishes which make the experience even better!! Highly recommend!!!
R. A.
Simply superb, go here one or twice a year, great food, loveley dining area and the staff are amazing, worth every penny.
R. W.
It was an amazing experience at the Restaurant Gordan Ramsay. Thanks to my dad for the surprise. I was not prepared at all so I didn't eat much, I had Duck breast and red wine. Duck Breast is so delicious and very tasty.
G. G.
I don't like Venison, so the chef changed it to filet steak with no problems at all.
The services are excellent. They even open the bathroom door for you.
C.
Impeccable service, soumelier was very knowledgeable. Tried out a chef's course menu. Each ingredient was cooked at right level to preserve its texture to enjoy. Each dish had unique combination of ingredients which made a dish so complex that at every bite, you would discover a different aspect of dish eg. sour then sweet then savoury etc. Every dish was carefully decorated with flowers and other garnishes. There were a lot to eat in this course menu, it took me 3 hours to complete. Towards the end of course menu, I kinda got sick of flower garnishes I saw in every dish though. Service was excellent but in rush.
S. L.
This place is simply amazing and the food... oh...my...god! I didn't know it was possible for food to taste that good. Classy, delicious and not a bad price considering what you actually get. I highly recommend a tasting menu if they have one on
R. S.
Service was so friendly and attentive. Food was obviously haute cuisine and each dish beautifully presented. We had been given a gift for the tasting menu and topped it up. They were fully booked but really looked after us. Dress code is smart casual wear a jacket if you're a bloke but ties don't appear to be compulsory: some men wore, some didn't. Women's dress is more flexible, no need to dress up to the nines but make an effort - no jeans and trainers.
B. D.
Had a really special time here. Thank you for making it so.
P. K.
More than an amazing experience!! The food is amazing, the staff is amazing definitely recommend and will be back soon!!
S. D.
Incredible meal, every part was delicious and beautifully presented and service was excellent and friendly but not overly attentive.
S. G.
Possibly the best experience you can ever have. The food was of course perfect. The staff however were the most notable out of all the qualities of this restaurant; so attentive and considerate. Well enjoyed.
S. L.
It was really elegant for a birthday meal, it wasn't all about the quality, but just to know "this is actually Gordon Ramsay's food im eating" just in the united kingdom! pretty awesome right?
J. P.
Such an amazing experience. Both the food and service were incredible. Super attentive and very friendly. They were very kind to cater for my dietary needs. I would love to come back another time .Thank you very much.
M. W.
i really enjoy having lunch here. staff is friendly and they help me to select dishes that i need. food is excellent quality. i love that experience and will go again. i recommend this restaurant.
t. t.
First class dining. Each dish on the tasting menu was a treasure. Thank you!!
A. S.
What an amazing experience!
The food was delicious and looked like a piece of art! The service made that evening even more fabulous (not everyday it's your birthday ;) )! Hope to see you soon again.
L. N.
It's a bit of a hustle if we are honest, this is overpriced. There is a little bit too much attention paid to you in that you never feel comfortable to engage with the person you came to have dinner with.
C. G.
Ate a chef's table but personally would of preferred to be in the atmosphere of main restaurant rather than in the lobby
B. T.
Exellent service and freindly staff. superb menu selection and fresh taste will be back.
L. L.
Exceptional from start to finish - a classy experience - well done to all the team
K. S.
Nice experience. Slightly small portion sizes
D. P.
Perfect dining experience would recommend to anyone
B. S.
Just stunning. Perfection in every respect. Food, service, atmosphere. You simply can't get better than this. Jean-Claude and his team's are faultless. Matt Abé's Carte Blanche tasting menu takes food to another level.
C. H.
Seriously one of the best restaurant experiences you'll ever have. Food brilliant and service impeccable.
p. d.
Beautiful place. Great service
J. M.
Felt like my girlfriend and I were the only ones in the restaurant. Service was impeccable. The food was amazing.
T. P.
Well it was so great. Great friendly staff and the food was....the best
Would recommend it to anyone
If you can get in just go
S.
Small, cosy restaurant with warm atmosphere and amazing staff, who always try to make feel you welcome and comfortable. Delicious food!!! The way of serve a customer, dishes e t c - simply perfect. It was enjoyable evening! Yes, place is pricy but you are really enjoy your time there.
M. D.
Matta Abe and James Lloyd were fantastic. The food was absolutely fantastic and went beyond classic pairings to keep dishes interesting. The service was without fault and provided a comfortable and friendly feel. We will definitely look at going back.
g. g.
The food tasted as you expect for its price tag. But I didn't see a certain yelling & cussing Irishman so I gave it 3 stars
Service impeccably tho.
J.
Very nice, but no lamb sauce
K. M.
Food is outstanding. The service is great. Staff is very nice. Never be disappointed. One of the best restaurants in the world. Highly recommended.
L. J.
Wow this place was perfect. The staff were so professional yet friendly, the food was delicious, beautiful. The two of us did the our own mix, starter, main, cheese and dessert, the dining experience was nearly 3 hours it was an incredible food journey and experience.
The manager was very friendly, chatty and very insightful.
Highly recommended, reservations in advance were necessary but definitely worth the pre-planning.
S. N.
Definitely a luxury restaurant with great food. The food experience was unique in the way, every dish had a burst of flavours and textures which was strangely a mix of familiarity and yet very strange to pinpoint. Would definitely recommend as a one time experience, but given the expense of it, one time is enough.
T. T.
The perfect place to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Food was exquisite and wine well chosen as always. Service and staff as friendly and efficient as always. Missed J-C today though
S. T.
Great service and friendly staff. However, I expect a little bit more from the food. For example, dessert is tasty but I don’t find it is nicely presented as I would expect from a 3 star Michelin restaurant.
M. C.
I can't afford this place. But luckily we met up with my parents in Chester to hand off our kids on our way to Italy (we're from Canada). They offered to take my son and I for a culinary experience (2019).
My son watches Masterchef religiously. For months, all he could talk about was that he was going to eat at Chef Ramsay's restaurant.
The staff was very accommodating as my son has food allergies. They were in communication weeks before we showed up, and it was greatly appreciated. Ben (my son), had researched his meal, and knew before showing up that he was getting the lobster ravioli.
Unfortunately, they ran out that night, and it was the most heartbreaking thing ever to see him hold back tears as he put on a brave face as to not ruin the experience (he was 11). He had the lobster tail (my mother takes the masterclasses, and made him some when we returned home).
The Michelin stars are fully earned. The service is immaculate.
The food was heavenly. If you are looking for an amazing culinary experience, this is it.
I lack the culinary expertise to describe the meal, or what it meant to my kid to experience this. All I can attempt to say is that the food was elevated to a level I had never known possible (and I love eating). A few gentlemen were doing business at the next table, and I was almost insulted for the chef. What was put on our plates deserved out full attention and appreciation.
I can only hope to return, some day, and experience this level of gastronomy. My son still talks about it with a twinkle in his eye. Fully worth the price if you can afford it. Never have I had a meal where the same ingredients were raised to such a level. It bordered on religious.
M. J.
1st time in a restaurant such as this. Blown away with the quality advice and service. Worth every penny. Thank you for a dinning experience to remember 👍
D. E.
The best of the best. Workings of one of the most talented chefs the world has to offer and truly an experience above anything you have ever tried.
M. S.
A wonderful, special and unforgettable dining experience.
The food was exquisite and beautifully prepared. The service was remarkable from the whole team and really made the afternoon special for a family 50th birthday meal.
The restaurant was immaculate, and each course was brought to the table in perfect timing ensuring every detail was taking care of.
I would highly recommend the restaurant to anyone thinking of visiting.
S. W. H.
The best dining experience I have ever had. Went for the dinner tasting menu. The food was incredible, great produce fabulously executed. I was also very pleased that my favourite wine was on their extensive wine list. The staff were fantastic. Impeccable service, i really can not fault anything.
M. M.
Best food I ve ever had. Worth a visit at least once in your life
C. V.
The best place ever. High level service, everybody was so pleasant and respectful. The food were an art of delicious ingredients. Every small piece from the plate was perfect placed.
S. F.
Excellent service and perfectly cooked food. Staff were responsive and attentive to all of our needs. We were even given a small tour of the kitchen.
j. l.
What an experience. Food and service were top notch. It was great too that you can choose to have one person degustation and one person a la carte. That meant between a couple we could try most of the menu.
C. B.
Wonderful, special night....Service is perfection itself. Warm and inviting atmosphere. Excellent, attentive, without pretense.
Food is basically as you would expect. Exquisite?
Is it better than Heston? ...thats a hard one to answer
S. R.
Trust me the only downside of the retaurant is the location. Food and service is excellent. Get the apple pie, worth the wait !!
They showed us the kitchen and talked to us asking if we need anything in intervals making us feel comfortable all the time we were there
S. B.
Top quality from the moment you step inside until you leave having had an amazing culinary experience
M.
Good service, nice place but for the hype the food is OK but I expected better from a three star restaurant
Z. K.
Having a dinner at a 3 Michelin starred restaurant is definitely an experience. Gordon Ramsay's flagship is one of those quintessential London places that begs to be taken in. The food, the service, everything is of the highest caliber. Now, mind you, I have no real experience in going to Michelin starred restaurants on a daily basis. Just an average Joe, wanting an extraordinary experience for an anniversary or a special day. I was blown away.
K. M.
The missus and I celebrated our anniversary here, and what a great experience! Jean Claude, and his team were phenomenal, as this was our first fine dining experience, they made us feel comfortable and at home in the restaurant. Service was top notch as you'd expect, the servers were very chatty, and smiling the entire time. The food... I don't think I need to say that it was delicious. Neither of us drink, and they had a great selection of non-alcoholic drinks as well. Jean Claude and Nicoletta really made the experience for us, but the rest of the servers were right there with them (sadly didn't get their names)!
M. S.
A wonderful, special and unforgettable dining experience.
The food was exquisite and beautifully prepared. The service was remarkable from the whole team and really made the afternoon special for a family 50th birthday …
S. F.
This is as good as it gets for restaurants; exceptional food, impeccable service and forensic attention to detail. One of the all time best culinary experiences in the world. Every dish is a sensation to taste, look at and watch served. It's a young team under the outstanding tutorship of Chefs Ramsay and Abe, and maitre'd Jean Claude, who is exceptional in the way he runs the floor. It's not cheap, but worth every penny!

People ask often "What is the best restaurant experience you've had?". Six years have passed and my answer hasn't changed. Royal Hospital Road stands out head and shoulders as the most memorable dining experience of my life.
Service and cuisine both perfect in a relaxed and refined setting. Our waiter had the emotional intelligence of a psychologist. He established common ground with each table, this is true luxury service. The food was as expected, perfect. The wine was matched artfully. The atmosphere was like being transported to a warm and inviting sitting room in a country garden.
I remain open minded that someday another restaurant experience will topple this one, but it set the bar impossibly high.
M. H.
I can't even find the right words to describe my experience here. You know how often when you set an expectation for something it usually never lives up to it? well, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay did exactly the opposite. It was Incredible. Incredible in every way possible, from the moment you walk in you are treated like royalty. Even more, you are treated like a true guest as if it were someones house. The waiter/waitress' have an art of their own with the way they communicate with their guests which is impressive to watch on its own. And then there's the food which is nothing less than perfect. The flavours of each element work incredibly well together and look amazing as expected. I enjoyed the 'standard' lunch menu which consisted of a choice between two (2) dishes across three (3) courses. I am by no means a food critic or even all that knowledgable when it comes to food but I would highly recommend booking a table here if you ever get the chance, you really will not regret anything. I really hope I will have the chance to dine here again.
a. t.
I’ve been lucky enough to be taken here twice by my lovely boyfriend, second time was very recently. What can I say, heavenly but however we had the bitter sweet chocolate with Madeira ice cream for afters not keen. That was the only option on the tasting menu, otherwise brilliant brilliant brilliant.

Absolutely divine evening, service and food was exemplary. From the doorman to the servers who bring you your food - absolutely everyone works together to bring you the ultimate dining experience. The food itself was beautifully designed, full of flavour and perfectly balanced. We chose the menu prestige, which was beautifully paired with wine chosen by the sommelier.
The only thing I’d recommend future diners is put down your phones and stop taking pictures of every detail. Enjoy the ambience, the company and the food without the need to capture every minute.
R. F.
Great food and service on Saturday as usual 🙏🏽
M. T. E.
Expensive, but incredible menú and service. Quality food in really magic place.
V. H.
Amazing food and very special experience. We dined here on the second day of the Covid 10pm restrictions and the staff adapted to the rules seamlessly. We had the tasting menu and the wine flight and thoroughly enjoyed everything.
D. D.
Great food with service which is second to non. Very special. Bring your credit card 😮
H. B.
The best meal ever in my life. It’s worthy for the money you pay for. Very sweet to arrange some birthday surprises and I was honored to be invited to visit such clean and professional kitchen.
T. J.
Great service, amazing food and great all round experience. Highly recommend
S. F.
An amazing meal last night, our first visit to the restaurant. All of our party of 4 had different choices for all our courses. Everything was perfect as well as the service. We could not fault any element of our evening. Definitely looking forward to our next visit.
S. G.
Great experience, such great attention to detail. Fantastic food, fantastic service .. Expensive, but worth every penny
c. s.
words can not describe how good this place is, the food is extraordinarily amazing...the staff are the most attentive i have seen and the wine list fits in perfetly, stunning all round restaurant..worth every penny
G. S.
Incredible dining experience, the level of service is unparalleled. Food was good, but not all dishes on the tasting menu were equal, some could be improved.
B. S.
This was truly a once in a lifetime experience. My partner and I were lucky enough to be gifted a meal here by one her friends, and it was truly incredible. Service was the best I have ever experienced, staff were talkative, friendly and extremely on the ball. The food was stunning, whilst it is a 3 course meal, it ended up being 7 when accounting for canapés, amuse-bouche, petit fours etc. We had a voucher for our meal as it was a gift, but this doesn't account for service charge. Whilst we did have acouple of glasses of wine which we paid for, we felt terrible having to ask for the optional service charge to be removed, but we just couldn't afford to pay a large service charge which is calculated as a percentage of the overall price before the voucher is applied. It really was the best meal of our lives, and an incredible experience.
G. F.
Actually exceeded my expectations, food was exquisite, staff were lovely, atmosphere just right. It is pricey, but it is great for a special occasion.
S. H. N.
Really cosy restaurant with excellent food and really nice staff. One of the best meals I have ever had.
C. I.
The restaurant was cozy with friendly and attentive staff. The three course meal for lunch was most excellent. And we were allowed to visit the kitchen before we left the restaurant.
S. W.
Great service and wonderful food, but the restroom could have been a little cleaner.
M. G.
Amazing place with incredible service. Easily the best meal iv ever had
B. W.
You must stop here when in London. This was the best food I'd ever eaten. It was pricey, but the food and service were perfect. Everything that came out of the kitchen was perfection. I can not recommend this enough.
A. M.
Fantastic food, friendly, knowledgeable and efficient staff who made us feel welcome and comfortable. Worth every penny.
R. S.
Myself and my husband came here for his birthday meal. When we arrived we was greeted by lots of staff who were very polite they showed us to our table and they made u feel very welcome.
They explained the menu in detail to us also as the food came out they explained everything that was on our plates, I put something in the comments box when I booked saying "it was my partners birthday", I never said anything to them in person and who I believe seemed like the restaurant manager organised a free birthday mini cake also he took us in the kitchen for a guided tor.
This restaurant is a must they treat you with the up most respect like your the only ones in the room.. Looking forward for our next visit.
Thank you to everyone at Gordon's Ramsey restaurant
S. A. Z.
If you literally want to be treated like a real royal you should try this place out! Exceptional service like I have never imagined before! Amazing food and a very cozy atmosphere! It is a MUST! The manager also showed my son the kitchen and took pics with him!
S. B.
Very expensive but an amazing dining experience. The ever attentive and amusing staff served the best food by far that I have ever eaten. Tender scallops beautifully flavoured with walnut and green apple, wonderfully cooked and flavoured lamb and the banoffe pie soufle was extraordinary.
A. C.
Food and services are superb, but as a 3 M star restaurant, I’m a bit disappointed with the tables are so close to each other and don’t have spacious sitting. I’m literally sitting with my left shoulder leaning ‘by’ the wall the whole meal. A serving table was put next to me to serve our dessert, the server forgot to take it away when finished plating, need to call someone to remove it as it’s my blocked my right arm movement.
R. O.
Great food best probably, though tge portion were a little less the taste made up for it
V. C.
We went here for dinner, experience was great.
L. B.
Wow. An amazing and unforgettable dinner. Service was at its best, food so unique in flavors and textures. The drinks served with every dish have complemented the food perfectly. What can I say - simply flawless experience I would reconnect everyone would try at least once.
L. S.
Came here on a trip a while back. I'm not used to this level of cooking. Literally put - perfect. I have never seen a better display of craft, ingredient quality, service, and overall atmosphere to this place.
I did notice the kitchen was somehow really quiet? I don't know how they pulled that off but props to them. I would absolutely return here for pleasure whenever I see myself in London again. Just wow.
J. M.
Amazing experience at the chefs table. I found the rest of the restaurant experience to be too noisy but of course the food and service was top notch. Afterall it's a Michelin star restaurant.
J. S.
Absolutely fantastic. My wife and I truly enjoyed a wonderful tasting experiences. All staffs were professional and friendly, and the whole atmosphere was truly cozy and comfortable. Foods were definitely the best. Every dish was perfectly prepared, decorated, and served. We were so excited and truly happy with everything in this restaurant. We like to visit London again, even only for visiting this restaurant again!!
S. T.
Great restaurant, excellent food which tasted fresh and exciting. The desserts in particular were very tasty.
J. H.
Absolutely divine evening! Superb service and attention to detail. Staff were very friendly, charming and helpful. The food itself was beautifully designed, full of flavour and perfectly balanced. Every dish was exquisite, but the Cotswold lamb dish was exceptional. I expected nothing less from a 3-Michelin Star restaurant. I will be returning.
M. F.
expensive but well worth the money, great experience
K. W.
To say this place was anything less than spectacular would be a lie. The staff predicted what you needed, wanted, or were going to ask before you even had to - so top accommodations to their hospitality. The food was delicious, beautiful, and thought invoking provoking. The two of us did the 7 course tasting menu and while the dining experience was nearly 3 hours it was an incredible food journey and experience. Reservations in advance were necessary but well worth the pre-planning.
E. H.
Going in with high expectations, we were not disappointed. The servers were extra kind and polite, the food was delicious. Don't go in expecting a quick meal, though. My friend got something like 8 courses and we were there about 3 hours.
M. A.
What to comment? What to say? I can’t be fair enough! It was wonderful experience, the food were piece of heaven!! Very cozy place but you will feel like you are alone there, because their service is simply exceptional. It was my first time & wont be the last.
M. M.
Had a fantastic meal and the staff were really lovely. Gordon's flagship restaurant really is amazing and the quality of food exceptional.
It truly deserves its Three Michelin stars, and of course has prices to match as well!
S. J.
Fantastic dinner at the chef's table.
C. A.
Going there was like a dream. The service and food was the best I have ever witnessed
L. S.
Went a few years ago but absolutely loved my experience here! The staff were friendly and extremely knowledgeable! I had a spillage and they sorted me out without making me feel bad about it! I believe Claire Smith was the Chef that evening and everything tasted blissful! Would happily go again! Keep up the great work!
C. M.
I cannot speak highly enough about this restaurant, which is my favourite in the world. The food (flavour, creativity, presentation) is of the highest calibre, the staff is well informed, kind and attentive, the atmosphere is elegant yet calm and intimate due to the small number of tables, and everything is impeccable- right down to the pristine kitchen to which I was pleased to be offered a visit... it’s absolutely perfect in every way.
D. F.
Great food, great experience, accurate service, and light atmosphere. Thank you!
K. N.
Probably the best meal I've ever had. And the service was top notch.
P. M.
Top class food at a price, it costs much more than comparable ones in London but experience worth the money.
A. I. Z.
Amazing food and ambience. Extremely clean place with superb service.
V.
Amazing experience, impeccable service, fantastic food - thoroughly enjoyed, well worth the wait.
C. L.
Went here on the 12/12/16 bit of a late review.
But have not forgotten how great my visit was it was as good as it was when I came 6 years ago 10/10 for everything. We loved it and will be going again soon.
D. W.
Chef Gordon Ramsay was hiding under my fiancée and I's dinner table, and halfway through the main course he launched upwards through the table and screamed "WHERE'S THE LAMB SAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUCE" at 200 decibels right into my infant child's face, making her cry.
5/5.
A. S.
Fantastic experience. As you can imagine, this is not your average restaurant. Yes, it is expensive, however, the experience is worth the cost. Services was impeccable. The food was amazing, well prepared and a culinary wonder.
S. S.
Ramsey’s best restaurant! So good! The experience was great everyone was friendly the decor was beautiful! The pigeon dish was phenomenal! Would go again!
A.
Experience of a lifetime! Apart from looking immaculate, every single dish presents a dance of flavours to the palette. The menu is as diverse as it gets. There are some very interesting flavour combinations, that only an experienced professional can balance to perfection. The attention to detail transcends beyond the food, through the extensive wine list and to the impeccable service. It was a pleasure to enjoy such an adventure for my birthday dinner.
A. P.
From start to finish me and wife felt like royalty.
With my wife being heavily pregnant the staff were so polite and helpful towards her.
There wasn’t one moment when we felt not attended to and the food, where do I start.
Absolutely outstanding the food was incredible if I could rate this more than 5 stars I would mr Ramsey and all the team amazing work and to the chef on the day of 14/04/18 incredible
All the best
The Parrott’s
L. S.
If you go London, you absolutely HAVE to eat at Restaurant Gordon Ramsay - there's simply no other way to put it!
The service was incredible, the atmosphere was comfortable, the food was extraordinary - the whole night was an experience I wouldn't live without.
I'm definitely revisiting!
D. w.
Amazing food, amazing, friendly service, I even got a tour of the kitchen!
G. P. M.
Great place and amazing culinary experience. Five star service. Highly recommended
C. S.
Excellent service. Very friendly staff. Fabulous fine dining experience.
S. N.
gordon tried to attack me by hurling fried eggs and banana peels at me. I had to escort my 5 children in the bathroom. My oldest, Jerald Junior, stayed with me to fight away the food. Overall I enjoyed the experience, and I was able to put my fitness to the test. Food was great.
R. H.
Simply, the best restaurant in London. Service and food was first class. Meal back in 2016 and still holds true.
S. F.
This is as good as it gets for restaurants; exceptional food, impeccable service and forensic attention to detail. One of the all time best culinary experiences in the world. Every dish is a sensation to taste, look at and watch served. …
C. H.
High end restaurant and one of only 5 restaurants in the UK with 3 Michelin stars it seems. Went for lunch with great selection and very high quality food and service. We even got a quick tour of the kitchen.
Not a place perhaps for regular visits as it is very expensive but great for a special occasion.
J.
Amazing gourmet restaurant, but not deserving of 3 stars when gordons other restaurant Petrus is better in all aspects has 2 stars
C.
Hands down best service I have ever experienced! Worth at least one visit in your lifetime -- no matter what the price.
B. A.
We booked the Inspiration table for four and what a fantastic experience nearly all the food was from our UK shores, ten courses of food sensation the scallops were incredible. The service and attention to detail was excellent we were made to feel very welcome by all that worked here it was worth every penny and something we will definitely do again.
K. L.
Beautiful, extraordinary experience. You will be extremely well looked after here and see that everything runs like clockwork. Every dish was delicious and looked picture perfect.
P.
In the last few weeks we have been lucky enough to eat at Heston Blumenthal's 'Dinner' at the Mandarin Oriental and the excellent Chez Bruce in Wandsworth so when we went to Gordon Ramsay last night it had a high standards to measure up to. But it is simply on another level. I have never, ever eaten food like this, just incredible cooking. The room itself is lovely, discreetly lit without being too dark and the staff have the perfect balance between professionalism and friendliness. It sounds easy but so many places get it wrong and are either too formal or worse, overdo the contrived mateyness (have a word, Heston). Here they were superbly attentive and genuinely charming - first class.
And then the food. I could wax on for hours about the incredible flavours, beautiful ingredients and technical accomplishment but all I'll say is this: It was, by a country mile, the best meal I have ever eaten and we will remember it for a very, very long time. Thank you Mr Ramsay, the delightful Jean-Claude, and all of your superb team. We will be back...
N. P.
You can understand why it has 3 stars. The food was delicious and we'll balanced. The staff were impeccable. The sommelier (who's name I wished I remembered), was incredible, helped us perfectly and has generally a nice man.
Obviously it's an expensive place and wines start at about £80 for a good bottle, but, as a treat or if flush with cash, go go go.
T. D.
Service was top notch. Food was fantastically awesome. Love the drinks and the atmosphere too.
a. w.
Lovely and nice place with helpful waiters and incredible food. I wanna say it is not only food but also art. Love it. They even gave me a small birthday chocolate sweet for my incoming birthday.
y. S.
Very luxury restaurant, top quality service and the food was very creative, super expensive, cost me a Gucci for the night...
M. A.
Every dish was exquisite. Love the fact that the focus was food and not dramatics. It's a place I could visit again and again. The sweetbread was stunning, and the dessert was the best I've ever had, no exaggeration
J. “. W.
Had the prestige menu. Food, wine & service all impeccable. Had the lamb for main which was perfectly cooked, but the pigeon is a little more special.
A. M.
Went for the 7 courses Prestige menu and did not regret at any point. Very good dishes - visually and tastily. Not to forget about the service which was amazingly good too !! I definitively recommend, you will get what a 3* is all about.
T. I.
Food, Service, Atmosphere... everything highest level. Definitely worth a recommendation!!!
J. W.
Fantastic experience from start to finish. We had the prestige menu with the wine pairing. Every part of our dinner was eagerly described by the wonderful staff and more than lived up to the billing.
We were astounded by how the staff worked seamlessly around the gorgeous restaurant. The atmosphere was buzzing and it marked a great occasion for us.
Particular mention to Andrea who took the time to answer any questions we had and recommend places to eat in Milan on our upcoming holiday.
M. N.
Good food and friendly staff.
D. B.
We just had a delightful evening. For us, this type of thing is an annual splurge, not a regular event. The service was excellent. Attentive to the max but not in the way. The courses each arrived seamlessly, and each had distinctive flavors and presentation. The whole evening had that feeling of being a special evening, just as it should be. Well done!
R. W.
I really enjoyed the food, a truly pleasant experience. Thank you.
C.
What a great experience we had at Restaurant Gordon Ramsay. The food was superb and the staff were delightful. We came for lunch and opted for the 7-course degustation and weren't disappointed. Nothing less to expect from a 3-Michelin Star restaurant.
J. B.
Haven't actually eaten here since I'm too poor for it but I'm sure the food is lit.
L. L.
best service I've ever had at a restaurant... perfect fine dining experience
G. “. P.
I have been there in 2011. The experience was good and food was very nice. The dessert were outstanding. However I did not appreciated the situation of the toilets which were untidy and not at level of a restaurant of this kind.
C. R.
Wonderful from start to finish, the lemonade parfait is the best dessert I’ve ever tried, and such friendly attentive staff... it was my birthday and they had left me a card on the table ready and every single member of the team came over to wish me happy birthday
s. -.
solid service, good ambiance. i expected food to be better though... pay approx £200+ pp
J. N.
We took breakfast here, also got a good experience.
C. S.
I had the prestige menu!! Beautifully cooked with a great balance of tastes. Staff were friendly and attentive with out being pushy. The jewel in Ramsey Crown.
S. a. S.
Went with a lady in a wheelchair, quite hard to get in, they do have a ramp but as we just turned up it wasn't there! It was when we left, the doors are arkward to open when pushing a wheelchair.
Food was amazing, excellent service.
J. C.
I had a very swaggy time dining at this here fine establishment.
C. G.
We had a wonderful taste experience, we all chose differently and every dish was 10 out of 10. The staff were amazingly attentive and professional, the maître'de was a star, he has a great sense of humour which made our experience fun, he was great with helping us make our choices explaining the menu fully. Would definitely recommend Gordon Ramsey's Restaurant, cannot wait to return again.
S. I.
Very good food and service ! Lovely people as well!
J. L.
The whole experience was very satisfying: the service and the food were on the top level as you would expect from any Gordon’s place. Towards the end of our dinner several half-naked ladies appeared which I’m not sure is appropriate for such a place, dress code and all. I’m still giving the place 5 stars – what were the waiters to do?
C. M.
Just an amazing restaurant. Yes it’s expensive, but I’d rather forego 6 regular restaurant meals for just one of Gordon’s.
Fabulous.
S. A.
I'm a fan of Gordon Ramsay so for my first visit to London, I requested to have lunch here. It was a small restaurant and service was top notch. I enjoyed the tour of the kitchen. Worth a visit if you are a fan.
T. M.
Really enjoyed the experience and food. Staff were very friendly :)
R. H.
This was one of the greatest dining experiences that I have ever had. I would fully recommend this to anyone and everyone. The starters were awesome and the opportunity to try such amazing flavour combinations were a joy. The meal is pricey as expected but fully worth it.
D. T.
Very high expectations on this one, given its reputation. And we were not disappointed!! This is for sure one of the top restaurants in the world. We had the menu and it was just amazing. Compliments to Clare Smyth for the amazing evening.
G.
The best dining experience I have ever had. Dinner was fantastic and the wine they suggested was delicious. If you are going to London and want to have one of the best dinner of your life I highly recommend.
A. M.
Top restaurant absolutely fantastic and we felt excellent value for money! We dined here back on April 2013 and were blown away by the great food and service. Felt a little overs whelmed at the start with some many waiters coming at you but after this settled down we had a lovely intimate dinner that couldn't be faulted. We will definitely be back there next time we are in London. For one of the best restaurants in the world very reasonably priced.
R. A.
Quite simply, the best meal I ever had.
I.
How can you sum all this in a few words?
It's more than just a "dinner" - It's a culinary adventure. You are paying a steep price for the food, but it's more than that, it's a whole show.
The food is spectacular. I came in with some skepticism thinking that it's probably slightly overhyped, but after spending several hours (and the tasting menu can take 2-3 hours easy) I can honestly say, this was one of the best culinary experience I've ever had. The best part, for me, was that every new dish was even better than the previous one, and that was already a very high bar.
See my photos for what you might expect (some of the courses are missing as we were too excited to try them before taking a picture), but I'd like to add a few words on the service, as I believe that was even more spectacular than the food. Everything is done with precision and care. Everything is part of a bigger experience and not just "dish one, dish two, dish three." Big thank you to Ali, the restaurant manager - He made us feel welcome, comfortable, and we had a great conversation even though the place was packed and he was running around, making sure everything works as it should.
Few tips - Formal wear. Make a reservation few months (!) earlier. Come hungry! Have the tasting menu.
S. T.
Best place I have ever eaten simply amazing.
D. O.
It’s as good as it gets really..

A little more olivol next time but overall pleasant experience.
V. G.
Good food and good service!
A. R. B. i. U.
I have not tried the food nor have I dined here, but have read and heard great reviews about this restaurant. Whenever I walk past I get very excited that I may see someone famous. I like good food but have not yet eaten here. It is on my to do list.
P. G.
I went there and got 10 liters of lamb sauce, Gordon was there and togather we took a swim in his lamb sauce swimmingpool, later on he put his sauce on me
D. P.
I went here because I was given a voucher as a gift. Needless to say I'm even more grateful after going here because the experience was simply divine! The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and the food...simply unbelievable. I suppose there's a reason this place has 3 Michelin stars!
E. L.
Simply the best. Food outstanding, staff even better.
S. T.
Had such an amazing night. The staff were very attentive, polite and welcoming. They helped my partner plan and present my engagement ring with such ease and delight. The food was amazing only down side the amount of dishes designed to be eaten with your hands which I didnt enjoy.
S. M.
This meal was all you hope for. The service was impeccable and friendly. The food was sone of the best I have seen and eaten. The restaurant is small so be sure to book when the day you want becomes available exactly 3 months before. My tip is go for lunch and have the set price 3 course special menu which is probably the best value eating experience in the world. When we were there the head Chef Matt was from Melbourne Australia and they gave us a tour of the Kitchen as well!
K. A.
I liked some of the food. The main dish I ordered was pigeon, it was undercooked and very oily. The goat yogurt was delicious and looks fabulous.
Very good service, however one of the server talked politics and it was uncomfortable for me.
R. F.
Slightly dated decor, great food and wine. Desert was unfortunately very average for a restaurant of its reputation. Service was excellent.
S. T.
What an Amazing experience we had. The food we ordered taste amazing. Great combination of the ingredients. Great wine pairing. Love the service.
D. B.
Worth the price. Amazing food, excellent yet relaxed service. Wonderful presentation and plating. Worth it for a special occasion.
t. f.
Amazing experience. i really really like the foods it taste good .
L. C.
Incredible food and service. Sublime.
R. Z.
Having tried Petrus and being pleasantly surprised we wanted to try the main restaurant. The food was as delicious and meticulously prepared. The wait staff were super friendly and attentive and had a fantastic evening.
D. C.
Love this place! very cosy, great food and top service
K. K.
Excellent value for weekday set lunches. Advance booking is necessary. Kids not allowed. Service was impeccable and deserves many multiple visits.. Restaurant is about 15mins walk from Sloan Square tube station.
K. M.
I had 3 couses from the launch menu. The food was delicious and amazing presentation, however, the prices are really high. I think this is becuase the chef is well known and this is his 3 michilen star resturant.
O. W.
A delicious meal with excellent service. Visited for my 21st birthday, the food, the service, and atmosphere are definitely worthy of the michelin stars. Would definitely recommend!
H. Y. W.
We husband is a super fan of the show Masterchef and Gordon Ramsay so he told me Restaurant Gordon Ramsay was on his must-visit list in Londom.
We made a reservation about one month ahead but there was only a few tables available on weekday lunch. We were flexible during traveling but would highly recommend people to plan earlier to get better timeslots.
We chose Menu Prestice (£170) for myself and Menu Carte Blanche (£220) which is Chef Matt Abe’s surprise menu for my husband. We were impressed by each dish which had lots of surprises even though most of the dishes were classics. The taste was still the key elements people would memorize for their entire lives.
Our favorites were my Ravioli, Pigeon and my husband’s entree, which is venison. The filling of ravioli was creamy and rich with flavorful broth. For entrees, it was our first time having both pigeon and venison with a little hesitation at the moment they served. Chef Matt Abe changed our impressions of these 2 types of protein with his great culinary knowledge & cooking techniques.
We were also extremely in love with their delicate desserts. We requested to substitute my Pecan Praline with Passion Fruit Soufflé, which was one of GR’s legendary dishes. It's soft, puffy and the best soufflé we have ever had in the world.
The entire experience was amazingly wonderful and close to perfection from the environment, service to most importantly food.
c. M.
What a great experience we had at Restaurant Gordon Ramsay. The food was superb and the staff were delightful. We came for lunch and opted for the 7-course degustation and weren't disappointed. Nothing less to expect from a 3-Michelin Star restaurant.
We will definitely come back
N. M.
Amazing setup, delicious food and great service. Take your significant other for an impressive night out.
P. G.
Great imagination, great execution and great service, of course. What did you expect? However, having eaten in quite a few Michelin starred restaurants over many years I still think that the dining experience in a 3 star is pretty similar to that in a 1 star.
S. R.
Went with my wife in February to celebrate a new job. We ordered from the al la carte menu and special of the day. The staff were super friendly. They also accommodated the fact we don't drink alcohol. The amuse bouches were plentiful. There is a reason this place has 3 Michelin stars, all the dishes had a fantastic myriad of flavours all balanced out.
A. H.
Really nice food and wine gone there for my birthday earlier in the year and I'm due to go again for xmas. Yippie!
D. S.
Absolutely amazing French food adventure. The service was second to none. The waiter, waitress and manager explained the ingredients of every dishes and helped us to have the best experience. They were so friendly, professional and patient to customer. The atmosphere is awesome. The interior decoration is elegant. The price is reasonable. It took us three hours to complete the adventure. Totally worth every penny we paid. Highly recommend.服務非常好,建議點一個classic一個seasonal的菜單然後share,他們會解釋每一個菜的食材和吃法,很有趣。時間很長,很有價值的美食之旅。
D. b.
Amazing place, great staff. AWESOME FOOD
P. Z.
This is our 3rd Michelin Stars restaurants (PerSe, Chef Table by the Brooklyn Fare). This is the cheapest of all 3(lunch menu) and also the least favorite of all 3 (PerSe > Chef Table > Gordon Ramsay). There are a few highlight dishes such as The Scallops, Lemongrass Mango(dessert drink). The main courses (Sucking pig, Pigeon) taste a bit weird. When we politely tell the waitress, she gives us a bit of arrogant attitude. Overall, the experience is good. The manager is very nice and he give us a quick tour inside the kitchen.
J. W.
We ordered sushi and soup. Experience was outstanding.
S. J.
I never been to a gordon Ramsey restraunt... or even London lol but boy would my family and I love to ! it looks amazing !!!
A. K.
Superb food, great service and an overall excellent experience. It deserves the Michelin stars.
b. p.
Oh the service is soo amazing and food it absolutely fantastic!
C. S.
It has 3 Michelin stars, what more is there to say? The experience was fantastic. Service was exceptional, food was plentiful and delicious. Large wine selection.
H. B.
Ultimate play of art. Outrageously delicious. Service also close to excellent. However, tables were too close to one another and it was quite noisy all around. Decor was just basic. Have had similar dining experience in London at only 60% of this price.
A. A.
Absolutely divine evening, service and food was exemplary. From the doorman to the servers who bring you your food - absolutely everyone works together to bring you the ultimate dining experience. The food itself was beautifully designed, …
R. A.
The food is carefully cooked, art-like and super tasty. Service could be the best across london. Pricing is too expensive though
Z. S.
Incredible dining experience. The staff was on top of everything for the evening and made sure my wife and I had a memorable experience. We were seated promptly for our booking. In addition to the all carte menu we were provided with amuse bouche, a pre starter course, a palate cleanser and a small treat after dessert. We even were offered a tour of the kitchen.
V. L.
Very impressive experience. I love the taste of food.
M. D.
Watched the 10th season and saw this place so I decided to come here just for fun
S. C.
Exemplary service, great food. What's not to love?
B. T.
Emazing Food and lovely service....
L. L.
Definitely lives up to Gordon Ramsay’s reputation. The service is impeccable. Food was phenomenal. I’ve been to many Michelin starred restaurants and this definitely ranks as one of the top three. A very intimate, quiet, and attentive experience.
I. P.
excellent execution and spotless service with very little surprises and no soul...:/ Gordon has so much personality, why is there none of it left in his flagship resto?!?
T. K.
Is this the best restaurant in the world? I don't know, since I haven't been everywhere. But dining there certainly redefines the scale with which you judge food. It should be a 35 in the Zagat 30 scale. Truly a lifetime experience.
B. H.
Table booked for 9.15pm and it was clear from the start that they wanted us out as quickly as possible. Received a menu and within 5 minutes had been asked 3 times what we’d like to order, to the point it was uncomfortable and demanding. All of this before even being offered a drink. Given Ramsay’s reputation we were surprised at how stale and dated the decor was. The reception of a cheap hotel would be an apt description. The flagship lobster ravioli starter was average at best, but fortunately the Dover sole main course and tarte tatin dessert were brilliant, which was the only thing saving this from a shocking review. It must be said that the server, from Kent, was also a lovely guy who made us feel a lot more comfortable than the other staff. There are many other much better restaurants for service and ambience with equally as good food all over London. Not quite sure how this has place still has 3*!

On the Inspiration Table. Very well looked after and all (excellent courses) introduced by Chef Abe who is a great guy. The food was simply stunning...

Experience of a lifetime. From the moment we entered to the second we left the service was second to none. They couldn't do enough for us. The food was a nothing like I have ever had before from caviar to Spanish truffle it was absolutely delicious. It was well wort the money and we will be going again.
신.
literally, amazing. food. atmosphere. service.
Most of their staffs are really kind and do exceptional service but a few of them are just average I think.
I. M.
Famtastic night with great food and excellent staff, also had the pleasure of a visit into the kitchen and met all the chefs. Will treasure this experience for ever.

Came here for my birthday. It was an amazing experience with the food, the atmosphere and the staff. The food was unbelievablely good. I can see all of the efforts that the chef put into every details of the dishes. All the ingredients are something that you cannot get elsewhere and they worth the money you spend. The staff was very attentive and responsive to all of our needs. They made us feel welcomed and special! The maitre d is a very lovely man who friendly came to the table and started a great conversation with us. There's nothing to complain about. I will definitely come back!
F. M.
What an incredible experience, I would love to go back soon to try different dishes.

Brilliant restaurant! We visited the restaurant for it 10th anniversary and really enjoyed it. My partner is a chef at a Michelin-Starred restaurant in London and we were both very happy.

I am a big fan of Gordon Ramsay. It was honestly the best service that I have ever received.Once in a lifetime experience!I can’t wait to be back sometime soon!

Intimate fine dining. Exceptional preparation, presentation and service.
K. J.
Ordered the 3 course lunch. Each dish was a work of art! Each bite was exciting to the palate! The best food I have ever eaten and the service was exemplary.
T. D.
Amazing experience. The food is a fantastic and unique combination of flavor profiles while the execution and visuals of the food were equally non obvious and surprisingly delightful. In the front of the house, Jean Claude ensured a truly personalized and unforgettable experience.
D. D.
The baked beans were tepid...that aside rather good
M. H.
I can't even find the right words to describe my experience here. You know how often when you set an expectation for something it usually never lives up to it? well, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay did exactly the opposite. It was Incredible. …
J. T.
We had lunch at your restaurant on July 27, 2018. I wanted to thank your whole team for an exquisite lunch. Everything was perfect. Especially that it was my first time in a long time that I had lunch with my son.
Thanks, and see you soon.

이.
I can say a word, "PERFECT".
There are no more other words of praise , standing for what I had been given services from them. It was so great experience
B. S.
It’s a hard review. 3 star with no wow.... very busy and overcrowded dining room. Busy staff forever in your eyeline although they are all professionals. Nothing memorable about the food, but the food was good. #oxymoron. Ahh, a flashback. Everybody left the desert!! Lemon something. Wasn’t worth the calorie intake...
M. C.
A Fantastic experience.
I love the food and the staff.
A. S.
Amazing team producing unforgettable food and a perfect experience. Thank you Jean-Claude, Chef Abé and the rest of the team for a dinner I will most definitely be returning to!
F. C.
I had my bday with my mum there. Everything in the restaurant is professional. The waiters and the waitresses were all very thoughtful and nice. The tartare was particularly impressive.
G. S.
The ultimate dining experience

Amazing food and service. Thanks Gordo

This is the best restaurant in the world 😍
And I love gordon ramsay 🧡💙

You go in with 2 legs, but leave with a proverbial third... The food is absolutely erectifying!!!

Outstandingly great restaurant - the service is incredible, the food is to die for (its the stuff you continue to dream about) its amenities fragranced and spotless and in my humble opinion, the best restaurant in London bar none. On one of our visits (it was our wedding anniversary) we were invited to view the kitchen and it was of a level of professionalism I had never seen before - it was deadly silent, the precision of the workmanship was astounding. Go at least once and if you can, many - many times.
M. T.
Absolutely awesome place. The star of the menu we tried was the sardine with smoked milk. Unfortunately our menu didn't include the soufflé, which looked spectacular. Between full (starter size) dishes and little bites I think we had around 15 different dishes, all of which were amazing. Except maybe the tart with basil ice cream , which tasted weirdly like pesto.
M. V.
Super class ever! Like it! All in all, I am so happy with my experience eating in Gordon Ramsay, and worth the price. Next time I will visit this place with my whole family and friends.
K. M.
Amazing food, ambience, and fantastic servicr!

Great food & service!
Had a fantastic evening!
G. B.
Incredible! The menu is spectacular and the wine is great. Strongly recommend a tour of the kitchen, which is beautiful.
R. S.
I couldn't believe the creativity of the dishes and the service was amazing.
I. C.
Amazing food and friendly staff
N. F.
I can't fault the food or the service during the meal.
However I will fault the fact that, when you know diners have been gifted a voucher, you should be more sensitive to how much more they might be able to spend. We were landed with a substantial extra bill unexpectedly, which could have really spoiled my wife's special day.
S. E.
I'm wondering how they can make food taste this delicious! Ok it's not for every wallets, so it needs to stay for a special occasion.
G. P.
The food was wonderful. Complex dishes, fresh, seasonal tastes and some delightful 'extras' made this an impressive lunch. The service was stuffy and unsmiling. We felt quite unwelcomed with none of the staff even attempting to commence as much of a polite conversation as one receives at other similar establishments. At one stage, there were amost as many floor staff in the small room as there were diners. We felt as though we were being 'hovered over' with waiters pacing the carpet, looking for something to do. This was very off-putting as was the yelling from the kitchen which we took to mean that the maestro was in the house. Unfortunately, it froze the conversations in the dining room momentarily. All a part of the over-riding sensation that we were being tolerated rather than welcomed. We have dined in many starred restaurants and have not felt quite so 'on the outer' before. Not a great inducement to return. A shame as the food was pleasant and beautiful to look at.
J. S.
The best meal I have ever had!
A. M.
Excellent service and food! Will be returning.
M. S.
No words can really describe. It's expensive, and it is worth it! The scallops are worth every Michelin star. We had the 3 course pre fixe, but there were like 3 or 4 surprise courses. It was amazing.
L.
Delicious food, amazing decor and stunning atmosphere. I will definitely return to this establishment more than once!
J. C.
I went as a party of 4 for dinner. It is a cosy environment maybe even a little bit small if you ask me but you will soon forget about that when the food is served. The food here is to die for. The service was very good as expected from a 3 star michelin.
We had the tasting menu, with a couple extra add on such as the white truffle linguine which is in season at the time and a extra apple pastry for dessert. It came to around 250 per person not including the wine.
D. F.
To be fair, we've not had a TON of experience with Michelin star restaurants. With that being said, everything about our experience was breathtaking. Come expecting to drop close to $200 a person, but if you're willing, it's well worth it.
Everything about the restaurant was done with such purpose and precision. The dining room felt as though we were in Ramsey's house. From the carpet to the tables to the chairs to the lighting - it was such a comfortable experience. We were in awe of how the staff worked as such a cohesive team. As for the food... the colors, textures and flavors were intoxicating. The freebies before and after the meal were phenomenal as well. On the tasting menu, each course complemented the one before it and made for an outstanding meal. We left beyond content. Add this place to your bucket list if you haven't already. It's a must try.
K. M.
The missus and I celebrated our anniversary here, and what a great experience! Jean Claude, and his team were phenomenal, as this was our first fine dining experience, they made us feel comfortable and at home in the restaurant. Service was …

Perfekt food and fantastisk hospital loving staff. Will def be Beck

Overall: 4.8
Service: 5.0 —> Absolutely amazing experience. Excellent and very attentive service, eventough there were lots of employees working, it never appeared as too many, as it was organised with such a precision (almost like a swiss watch ;)). Also they were all very friendly.
Food: 4.8 —> from the amuse-bouche to the bread and pralinés at the end everything was perfectly assorted. And tasted as one could only dream off.
Highlight was the seafood ravioli. A little minus for the cheese selection. As a swiss my standards might be too high, but I would have enjoyed it, if there were 3-4 hard cow cheese and there was only one or two which both of them were okay but not super good.
Atmosphere: 4.5 —> there should be fewer tables, as it appeared a bit overcrowded (without any consequences in service, just from looking).
Other then that, its a beautiful room.
All the people were dressed up properly which is nice in such a place.
Definitely worth the experience and I can only suggest you to go there
L. F.
he called me mean words caus i look like this :(
J. K.
I'm a big fan of this place. The food and service are exceptional. In my opinion the service here is the best in London and certainly the best I have ever experienced.
S. R.
Very tasty food, The desserts was just perfect (and I understand about that ...) excellent service, The manager is very charming and nice!
M. M. Z.
My husband suprised me for my 30th birthday with a booking here. The food was excellent - mind-blowing tastes that made it very difficult not to 'mmm' or say 'wow'. The staff were very down to earth and very pleasant to talk to, their service was flawless and they did very well to keep a lovely atmosphere and smile despite all of them having to wear masks. Special thanks to Jean-Claude, James and Lubna who made the evening so special. We have dined at various Michelin starred restaurants, however this one tops them all. Our congratulations to Gordon Ramsay and his team, the 3 stars are well earned and deserved. Thank you!

High quality kitchen , great work by the chef. Well balanced flavours , everything is delicious, really well presentation and great service.
h. b.
Beautiful food and the staff are so helpful and pleasant
l. r.
I have been twice and was excellent both times
H. J.
Very disappointing, temperature was 1000 degrees in the restaurant and they weren't exactly apologetic, definitely didn't feel like a 3 star Michelin restaurant. Menus felt slightly dated, potentially try one of his other restaurants (or they had a very bad day in the office).
J. G.
Service here was 1st Class. Extremely friendly and attentive staff. Jean-Claude took brilliant care of us. Thank you Jean-Claude for going out of your way to make her birthday special and all the added touches to make this an evening to remember. Food was delicious. Highly recommend the famous Lobster Ravioli and the Caramelised Tarte Tatin was superb.
I. H.
quite simply the finest food i have tasted anywhere in the world
J. W.
Excellent food. Excellent experience!
D. L.
Every dish reaches excellence. You expect it to be great because of the fame and price. But I am still glad to find the experience to be so pleasant. The restaurant is tucked in right off the Slone street. If I have to pick something to improve, I'll say the place is too small. Everyone is cramped into a tiny spot. No one can walk without siding themselves. The lady's room and man's room are in the same space, sharing the vanity. Also, 8 pounds for an espresso is still a bit much and unnecessary since we all already pay a premium for the food.
L. S.
one of the world's best restaurants, service that made my mom feel special, make up for the sense that the creative torch has been passed to more daring chefs.
R. O.
Always the best
P. J.
Gordon Ramsey's restaurant was the best I've ever bean 2 its the best by farrrrrrrr

Beautiful place and an amazing experience with the food.

Delicious food! Very nice evening.
T. T.
Excellent food, great atmosphere, and the waiter especially the old man, probably the manager, are very nice, helpful, and friendly.
A. D.
All dishes taste very delicate and perfect. However, I much prefer the service at Petrus. All services seem rush, I do understand I arrive 10 minutes late than the appointment. We rushed through the dishes without complaint. However, the server should not be coming for card when we were having petit four in our hands. We were basically eating at that moment. Server should at least wait until our hands were empty or we were not chewing to approach for card payment. It was awkward to rapidly putdown food and swallow whatever we were enjoying to find card. Disappoint in service quality.
Deducted 2 stars because this place is Michellin stars and I expected flawless service!
A. L.
Exquisite prestige menu. Highly recommended.
C. C.
Expectations were high to begin with given its Michelin star status, but was still impressed with the entire experience. The tasting menu is brilliant and they were very attentive to dietary restrictions. However, note that cameras are not permitted (for you photographers out there!) but mobile phone cameras are allowed.
M. B.
I ate at RGM last night.
Having eaten in many disappointing two and three star Micheline restaurants, my son and me were relieved to have experienced an evening of excellent service and extremely well crafted food,
We both agreed that we would be happy to return to RGM.
J. M.
Food was very good, service was excellent, but it's more for the experience considering the exorbitant price
L. Y.
celebrated birthday here. Loved it, from the food to the service.
J. D.
The place is superb. (I bet half of the people posting 1 star reviews are people on Facebook or Twitter that got roasted by Ramsay with their... subpar cuisine)
C. M.
Our visit to this restaurant was the highlight of our trip to London. My first visit to a 3 Michelin star restaurant, it was a great experience. But it was also the most expensive meal I have ever had, and probably the most expensive I will ever have in my life. I have visited another restaurant of Gordon Ramsey, which has 1 Michelin star, and it compares poorly to this 3 star restaurant. I would go back again and would recommend it as an at least once in a lifetime experience.
J. H. -.
People ask often "What is the best restaurant experience you've had?". Six years have passed and my answer hasn't changed. Royal Hospital Road stands out head and shoulders as the most memorable dining experience of my life. …
N. C.
Nice restaurant worth a visit.
K. M.
Combining contemporary elegance and unparalleled service, three Michelin-starred Restaurant Gordon Ramsay has the hallmark of true excellence.
Come and visit.

Amazing experience. Amazingly expensive and yes we would go back

Jean Claude and Matt Abe masterclass. Culinary perfection. There is no better than this place. Several extra free courses, all exquisite. From the sommelier accompanying my non-alcoholic tastes by providing the best drink I've ever tasted. To Jean claudes out of the world service. Wow wow wow. We went here for our 5 year anniversary and paid £400ish for 3 courses each, with an added cheese course and 3 drinks each. (Coffee, soft drinks, wine for my partner). Matt Abe and Jean Claude signed our menus and wrote us a card to celebrate our anniversary, which truly made our day. Can't recommend enough!!
A. A.
The restaurant is a 3 Michellin star. The service was excellent and the waiters and maitre'd were very helpful and polite. A lot of attention was paid to the tiniest detail during service. The tasting menu was very good and varied. I would strongly recommend this. The restaurant decor is more art-deco and most of the utensils are from Paris. The ravioli of lobster and the lamb were especially good.
T. O. L.
An exquisite evening began with my wife and I trying ‘le frog testicle’ as the name suggests it was a glazed frog shoved up a snails hole and roasted in a microwave.Would highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a bit of amphibious testes
R. K.
Definitely one of my favorite place to try high end cuisines! A must do for anyone who enjoys food!
P. G.
Unbelivable, just unbelivable what you can make with food and with a very good service. I want once to work for gordon ramsay too, because the expectations werent high, but now they are owerwhealming :)
A. B.
Best meal of my life and I like to think I know what I'm talking about. Outstanding versions of recognisable food. Best quality, flavour, presentation. If I'm gushing, it's just because this place sets the bar so high that no other place I've been comes close.
Far better than Fat Duck, Petrus, Marcus Wareing, Claridges, Charlie Trotter in Chicago, French Laundry in California, etc etc.
Lunch is a bargain!
L.
Very good experience. I had dinner at Pétrus about a year earlier and now finally decided to pull the trigger on Ramsay's "flagship", and it did not disappoint.
Very friendly, open, non-stiff service with staff that is very happy to chat and joke. The Menu Prestige was impeccable and takes you on a journey of tastes without going overboard with the French delicacies.
The restaurant is very low-key from outside and has a nice interior that is quiet enough even when the restaurant is full.
J. M.
Went here last year for lunch and it still sticks in my memory. It's that kind of place! Food was totally exceptional and their maitre'd Jean Claude (JC) is a total gent. He helped us feel very welcome/ comfortable and gave us a tour of the kitchen after our lunch. Location is historic too as alot of great chefs trained under Pierre Koffman when it was La Tante Claire.
K. A. R.
Overall good place to have food.
T. H.
I was not disappointed. dishes deserve applause!
k. y.
Amazing food, great service
U. C. G.
Worth the wait to taste the Gordon Ramsay creations! Loved every moment.
T. L.
Love it. Amazing burger.
M. L.
Didnt get to sit at the table so had to sit at the bar. It was ok.
R. L.
£200 per head for dinner menu without wine. Not as good as when Clare Smyth was the chef de cuisine, but food remains polished and consistent. Decent value for money.
J. R.
The cupcake was absolutely stunning and tasted amazing and very cheap at £100 a cupcake
C. D.
If the food is made of the the best products which were handled with care and brought to perfection by chefs who create art the only thing you can do better is the service.
BUT the Service also is at the top. Discrete, polite but omnipresent. They make you feel special without feeling uncomfortable! It seems that they read your wishes before you have them!
Some words about the food. We went to the restaurant for lunch and it was the best menu I ever had! An awesome world of flavours and combinations always aiming for highlighting on a mainpart.
It was a dream wich came true. Hope we'll meet again soon!
A. S.
Excellent food and service not cheap but worth the expense as a treat.
R. L.
We had the most stupendous meal here. Originally we'd planned to visit Vienna and Bratislava instead; my son asked if we could visit Gordon Ramsay's restaurant, so we altered the course for London. No regrets! Gordon Ramsay's flagship is a true north star for serious foodies. It utterly deserves its three Michelin stars, with thoughtfully presented and beautifully cooked food, an upscale but welcoming atmosphere, and one of the most dedicated teams we've ever had the privilege to encounter anywhere the globe over. We were so well taken care of, and the restaurant added a splash of pizazz to amp up the overall dining experience with multiple surprise complimentary additions to the meal, from the most delicious pre-starter through pre-sweet palate refresher. We finished our meal late, way after the (metaphorical) gong had sounded for any last orders, and while paying the bill were invited to visit the kitchen. Adored the experience! It was such a large, freshly renovated, spacious and spotless kitchen. The rain that plagued us as we left the restaurant was relentless, but we had such a fantabulous meal at Gordon Ramsay that the gloomy weather couldn't dampen our delight. Sorry, sounding cheesy there, but it's true. We agreed unequivocally that our meal at Gordon Ramsay was nothing short of uplifting, and we will definitely be back the next time we visit London. The entire experience went beyond the mere physical to satiate our senses and it elevated what would've been just another good meal to one that will go down in our family holiday annals as a unique, glorious event. Thanks so much to the entire team for being so professional, so meticulous, and so genuinely warm. You made our time in London a much sweeter one. :)
C. S.
Excellent !!
D. M.
Had the set lunch menu and throughly enjoyed it. After all it is a 3 star Michelin restaurant. Very very good
T. J. O.
Amazing food and outstanding service. Really above and beyond... It's not a meal. It's an experience.
L.
This is the best food I've ever ate!!!
G. T.
Nice evening out with my hubby but one I will not repeat. I am not into pompous food rituals example three people to carry over white truffle, wearing white gloves, to grate this mushroom into your food. The security needed for white truffle eclipses that of them carrying a five carat canary diamond!! A glimpse of how the other half live. Rather stay on my side of the fence Lol.
Too many dishes to eat and try and digest (or not) in one evening. I am sure people who love tasting menus would enjoy this experience. Decor understated, focus on the refinement of the dishes, service was friendly, but not overly so, first time I have had someone literally walk, wait and show you back to your seat if you took a toilet break.
Although everything was cooked well, for the price nothing wowed me and two weeks on I can't remember one thing we ate that night, apart from the sweetbreads because we hated them, more what we were eating than how they tasted though!
For £500 we spent that evening I believe there are other restaurants in London worthier of this type of spend.
A. F.
Excellent food fantastic hospitality

this was the famous restaurant. ....through out London in my opinion
