I found another gem in London Mayfair - Rüya London Turkish flavoured with remarkable atmosphere and amazing cocktails. We had a night of Turkish flavours so we ordered many starters to try different types. It was absolutely amazing and delicious. My favourite dish: slow cooked beef ribs. We had tasted Turkish wine. Amazing vibes, location and services.

Gorgeous restaurant. Service was impeccable, food & drinks were lovely. Would definitely recommend to those planning to visit. Portion sizes are on the smaller side, but a starter, 2 mains and a side filled us up pretty nicely. Oh and the desert was delicious.

Definetly one of the most posh Turkish food iv had. Food was lovely, you could tell quality ingredients and there's passion in the cooking. Restaurant decor is amazing although was sat next to a loud Arab family who had a loud mouth and couldn't stop talking for a min. They gave the waitress a hard time to 101 requests. That aside I had a lovely waitress and the ambient lighting and soft music was pretty romantic. Limited parking just outside the restaurant and it's free after 6:30pm. Food definetly pricey what would you expect it's Mayfair and a Lahmacun is £18. No complimentary bread or salad like usual Turkish outlets but I think that's a good point otherwise I would of struggled to finish my food. Would I go again, it would be a special occasion for a loved one.

Had a fantastic experience at Ruya. The food was so delicious it made the expensive price point quite worth it. I had the mushroom risotto with truffle added. It was so flavourful. The service was also very on point. The bathroom is also quite fancy haha. Would love to come again for a special occasion!

Really nice experience. Went to this place with a couples of friends and we had really a great evening. To share concept is the key always to try a lot of plates and the best ones. Every single plate was super tasty and delicious. It was look like be in Turkey. About wines : tried the Turkish ones , absolutely good and different. One of them was “Wow”. One of the best service ever had; they were very careful about us. And so qualified . 100% recommended. 5 stars and more.

The service here is out of this world: the staff are so knowledgeable and friendly, and I left with great facts about Turkish cuisine and its history. Atmosphere is also lovely. The food is good, but I found the portions to be quite stingy relative to the price - particularly the Pides: I was shocked by how tiny they are relative to their hefty price tag and the Sucuk Pide I tried really was nothing special. That being said, you HAVE to try the Keshkek if you visit, it’s genuinely my new favourite food. Goes perfectly with the Turkish Spoon Salad.

Great atmosphere, really cool. Foods are amazing starting from presentation to the end. My only comment would be they might consider to have slightly bigger portions. You don't really feel full when you are leaving the place. In one hand it is good but in another hand you do like feel to have your stomach to feel it is full :)

We had a wonder waiter who was incredibly accommodating! But I’m disappointed about the management. - it being the month ramadan and having the space to do so, they weren’t forthcoming in allowing us to take 5 mins to pray in their private room. Such a shame. I’ve been to many places that try their best to accommodate. That aside the service and food was great.

DJ had the best music, the restaurant is large, and beautifully designed. The cuisine is modern Turkish: well thought out, flavors were stunning. We were a party of four, and we had mostly vegetarian dishes. The ones which stood out were the artichokes, Isli Patlican, and Zeytinyağı Ahtapot. Service most excellent and dessert was great.

Beautiful place with nice cocktails. The flavour was so delicious and interesting. Great creativity and decoration. The place was very convenient to visit because it is not far from station and Hyde Park. Good ingredients, good combination in tastes and perfect portioned. However, the fish was a little bit over cooked and didn’t meet the expectation. The service was also perfect. Nice staffs.

Great food and a cosy atmosphere. Lakerda, courgette dolma and tavuk shish were really sth special... Hazelnut baklava and kunefe (desserts) went through a "westernization" and look fabulous but they are a big fail taste-wise.

By far the best Turkish restaurant I have been to in London! The overall restaurant was nothing short of incredible, from the service to the overall quality and taste of the food. We tried pretty much the whole menu, including the desserts and we liked everything. The starters, including the aubergine chips, bread and the salads were amazing and were packed with flavour. The main courses were also impeccable too. Considering one of guests had a very strict diet of no gluten/dairy/onion/garlic, the waiter made sure to tell them if they could eat any of the dishes we were served. They even modified some of the dishes to make them suitable for them. Overall considering the quality, it was worth every penny, 10/10

They charge for absolutely everything. if I'd asked for salt and pepper I'm sure there would have been charge for that too. No complimentary anything, they even charge £5 for chilli sauce. Food is good, which I would expect at the prices. I know restaurants are there to make money, but it felt mean. Having some complimentary bread or Turkish tea would be a nice gesture and makes you feel valued. I have eaten at high end restaurants before and have never experienced anything like it, in fact, the opposite. It is common to get complimentary tasters/bread/ petit fours as you're already paying high prices. It felt very miserly and uncomfortable.

Excellent service, atmosphere and food. From the lovely welcoming hostesses, the wait staff, the DJ tucked in the corner and everybody else. The food is outstanding being refined and modern versions of what I've had in Turkey. I would highly recommend the 2 cheese pide, barley and lamb risotto and the 24h short rib. However I think you'd be pretty safe with anything.

A refined kitchen from the Turkish cuisine trying to present the variety of food from various regions which it does fairly well. Authenticity is also achieved in this smartly decorated venue in the heart of posh Mayfair in London. The staff are friendly and reasonably trained. Good selection of drinks too.

The food was good but I’ve had a serious problems. The first is the price, it’s extremely high. I’ve ordered a dish named “Ali nazik” basically it’s 1 kebab🙂 it costed me 26£ The second dish is “chick shish kebab” the same story, only 4 pieces of chicken, it costed me 22£.

So far, the only Turkish inspired fine dining experience in London. The ambience is amazing. Everything is curated to a high standard. The washrooms are as big as Turkish hamams. There is a DJ to play contemporary Turkish music. The food is like your favourite Turkish dish (that you have had countless times in Turkey) made by a talented British chef. It lacks one thing that is hard to describe. The prices have an additional zero on them. It is relatively justifiable given the location.

Through the Ruya doors you walk into a world of relaxed luxury. The restaurant itself is beautiful, but it the staff who ensure you have a spectacular experience. With a large choice of dishes to choose from we trusted our waiter to design the perfect meal for us & he didn't disappoint. Ambience, service and the presentation of the food was great. They've condensed their original menu so less options. Dessert was good. Shame the actual taste of the mains was pretty subpar especially since Turkish food isn't particularly complicated food.

Really nice dining experience, where you could see pides being baked out of the oven freshly, and the waiters and waitresses really offer good service. The menu offers a good selection of food, which is friendly for different dietary requirements. I'd recommend it if you've got a decent budget.

Yes, you’re welcomed warmly but the cordial reception just leads to a spiraling level of service. The waiters rushed to take out orders but once they were placed the lack of attention was frustrating. We didn’t get all our items and yet we couldn’t get a waiter to our table. We kept trying to make eye contact as there was no way anyone could hear us through the very loud noisy atmosphere. Our sides came only after we were done with our meals! As for the choices themselves, if you’re not a meat eater you may be disappointed. Those that care for chicken will only find one (or two?) items on the menu. Yes, the decor and plating was beautiful but the experience all together was not a pleasant one.

The restaurant has a chilled and nice ambiance. The food is delicious. I especially enjoyed the Black Sea pide with 2 cheese. However, when I asked the waiter if it's possible to add sucuk to the pide he said the kitchen is very busy and he doesn't want to disturb the chef. At the end maybe that was the right thing not to add but the communication style is really not nice. My recommendation to this restaurant is to create authenticity by genuinely embracing the Anatolian hospitality and the culture as well as the food.

Incredible atmosphere and delicious food. Came as walk-in on a packed Saturday night and waited around 20 minutes at the bar. Ordered the Yogurtlu Kebap, Quinoa Salad, and Grilled Sweetcorn. The kebap was very delicious but I felt the portion was small for the price and would have liked a 1.5-2x larger portion. The salad has a perfectly sweet pomegranate dressing coupled with nuts. Corn is served with chili flakes and preserved lemon butter on the side and tasted good! Service was excellent and food served very quick, although the Kebap was served colder than expected. They close at 1AM so we came later on to have drinks at the bar and enjoy the exceptional music and cool ambience. Highly recommended restaurant and bar!

Great new restaurant which brings together different tastes of Anatolia (Turkey) with fresh, high quality ingredients. Fantastic selection of wine (with a price tag to match...) and a creative cocktail menu. Service was great, food from the josper grill was melt in the mouth, and there were several vegetarian options available. Would love to come again and try other dishes on the extensive menu (missed out on the freshly baked Lahmacun - think Turkish Pizza if you don't know, and the Borek).

I’m sitting in the restaurant, I swear I’m not pissed, and I am moved to write the review right now! There is this ‘thing’ about taking cuisines to Mayfair, making them Michelinised and charging a lot more for them. This is the first place I have been to in DECADES where the rule (flavour extracted, price astronomicalised, experience made boring) where this very definitely has not happened. This is Turkish food taken entirely to a higher level and made even more delicious than you’ve probably ever had. Perhaps you are descended from Ottoman royalty, in which case maybe you have. The Adana Kebap was literally the best, most tender and moist I ever had in my 44 years of eating from cheap to super-expensive in London. I mention the kebap as a reference, especially to people who were students here. The rest of the menu, which occasionally reads like old favourites but quite often not, is just delicious. So well and cleverly prepared, spiced or seasoned perfectly, and presented in a way that you probably won’t have seen before. The Patlican (smoked aubergine purée) is served with incredibly thin and crisp slices of aubergine, to dip, that have been dried, dusted with spice and flash fried, that are just bloody delicious. It’s Mayfair. It ain’t cheap. But it certainly is worth it. Oh, and the Turkish reds start at £45 and are excellent and surprisingly ‘left bank Bordeaux' style for 1/10th the price. I hasten to add that I was dragged in here expecting the worst and have absolutely nothing to do with the restaurant company. Now to sample the puddings!

Let me start by saying the service was very attractive and friendly. The food was fine, the problem is the portions and value. £15 fried eggs and sausage bits is pricey and doesn't come with bread. Everything is extra. Small portion side rice £9. In the end the food simply not worth it compared to Turkish restaurants and suspect mostly paying extra for dining location being part of hotel.
