Reviews of Sable d'Or

Place looked nice on the outside, walked in without looking at reviews.
We ordered:
- Mozzarella sandwhich; was really tasty, was surprised how light and crunchy the bread was.
- Cinnamon role; so soft and tasty one of the best ones we've had
- Apple crumble; loved how the crumble melted in my mouth! It was the right amount of firm vs crumbly and was a little moist. Would order again
- Spinach feta crumble; texture was good but lacked a little taste
We were served by Kaleb, felt super comfortable with him! He was friendly and patient with our orders! Thanks Kaleb. (Apologies if I spelt your name wrong)
It was a little pricey but not so different from many other cafes. Would definitely come again.

Super expensive. A vegan sausage roll for £5.50?!! It was nice but also the place wasn't very clean and now is lacking the charm without all the plants they used to have (dead now on the side walls).... not sure what happened to this place, new management maybe? I haven't been in months so not sure when that was.

Pros: excellent decor; good customer service; comfortable seating; the chicken and beef are halal (as I was told); good vegetarian options.
Cons: the food wasn't great - the beef patty had a bitter burnt taste to it; the prices were unexpectedly high.

Nice food but the WiFi is completely unreliable and often doesn’t work. Nor does 4G. So don’t come here if you need to use your phone or laptop.

Slightly expensive, but very good place. The staff is very friendly, and the food looks amazing. The place is relaxing and very well decorated, definitely in line with the trandy Crouch End.
I wouldn't come here for a quick bite, but this place is amazing for having a nice talk with a friend or partner.
Must.

Lovely food served here. The Sunday early morning waitresses are particularly good. They pay attention to customers and are very friendly. One even remembers our orders each week! The food is on the pricey side but average price for the area. Clean and tasty. Definitely one to try

Lovely place! Food and cakes were great. Lady making the coffees was so fast and kind too after I made a mistake with my order. Guy behind the counter was also very good. Maybe a little pricey, yes. So if I could knock of 1/2 star for that I would.

Cosy gorgeous interior, amazing choice of the yummiest home baked pastries and great brekkie options. Really really recommend! X

Lovely little place in Crouch End. I visited on the tail end of the lunchtime rush so there was plenty of seats and it was very peaceful in there! I had the Tuscan sandwich and the cleanser juice - both were absolutely delicious!
