Wonderful food with great value - fish was very fresh and the high rice quality. The couple who ran the shop was also very welcoming. Relaxing atmosphere with spacious dining area and peaceful music. Would definitely come back to try their dinner menu!

Authentic Japanese restaurant. Managed by sweet couple and most customers here are Japanese. I used to visit japan often and i can tell that this restaurant serves authentic delicious fresh Japanese cuisines. Honest food, good fresh ingredients. Nothing pretentious like some overpriced so-called Japanese restaurants around mayfair. And its really affordable. seatings are limited and you do have to get here early. Will definitely be coming back.

I ordered a chirashi bowl and was amazed at the freshness and quality of the fish. Whilst it's slightly more expensive than some places, you pay for the variety of gish - I'm still dreaming about the fatty tuna! You can tell with the chef he cares about the food he makes and you're able to see him assembling the food.

Lovely service, and very reasonable price. Great advice for choosing wine. Interior is soulless, but probably the registration for listed building. Food quality is very good. And also very authentic. The menu is limited at the lunch time, but there's lots of interesting things in the evening.

What a great Japanese Place! This is definitely a hidden gem in this area. My family and I have been touring London for a week and staying in the nearby Marriotts Hotel. We have been trying all various types of food in the surrounding area—steak house, afternoon tea, Chinese, Italian and etc. As this the most toured spot in central London, we can tell most of time as soon as we entered a place (for dinner ) if this is a restaurant really focusing on their cuisine or just for money from guests. I believe we finally find the one we’d like to visit multiple times. We did not find the place from Yelp, but accidentally get in their due to cancellation of the originally planned visited Turkish place under renovation. It is a small place without heavy decorations. Considering only 4 employees in there, the serving time of orders are quite reasonable. Food quality is very good, and price is fair. The quantities of orders are surprisingly bigger than I thought. We are the only non-Japanese table, and there are so many things can be chosen from; the waitress gave us some help on the decision. (Unfortunately, their menu is in Japanese style and take a while to figure out how much should be ordered) but in general, order 20-25& per person plus drinks should be enough for a good dinner. We will come over again to check out more types.

Delicious and bargainous lunchtime sushi menu! Genuinely chuffed to find this place unassumingly situated to the rear of County Hall. Some of the most reasonably priced sushi in London. Quality is consistently high. Only about £11 for the feast pictured.

Dropped in and munched on fantastic sushi and a spicy tuna roll. Top scoff! I think saying the interior is soulless is a bit harsh. Plenty of atmosphere when I was here perhaps when it's busy and there is a buzz one notices the ceiling colour less.

Sagamiya is a lovely Japanese restaurant along Belvedere Road that you should visit. The food is authentic and the quality similar to what you'd get in Japan. Prices are reasonable and the Japanese chef and wait staff are polite and friendly. Would highly recommend it if you are in the area and looking for reasonably-priced authentic Japanese food. Try the set meals - the green tea ice-cream that comes with dinner set is classy. Would definitely be back for more! Oishii!
